Chris' partner in the Kijuju Incident and co-protagonist of ''5'', with whom he develops a strong bond. She joined the B.S.A.A. to fight against biological weapons since her parents had been victims of experiments carried out in Africa with said weapons.
----
* ActionGirl: Can be just as capable as Chris is.
* BadassNormal: She's just a girl with a gun, she doesn't even have the experience fighting [=B.O.Ws=] that Chris does, and yet she doesn't back down for a second as she faces deformed psychopathic killers and horrible mutations.
* BilingualBonus: Her tattoo reads "Shujaa," which is Swahili for "Hero."
* ColourCodedCharacters: [[WordOfGod Production notes]] state that it took the team a while before deciding on her signature color -- lavender.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Her parents and village worked for an Umbrella facility as menial laborers. When she was a child, Umbrella used the workers for experimentation; her parents died and she was taken in by her uncle, who lived in poverty with his seven children. Unable to feed herself and convinced her parents were still alive, she ran away, but almost died wandering the savanna. She was rescued by anti-government guerrilla fighters, who explained how Umbrella had destroyed her village and killed all the survivors when she was done, with the help of the government, so she joined with them to make Umbrella and the government pay. When she was a teenager, she found out that her "friends" were actually going to buy bio-weapons from Umbrella to overthrow the government, which was all they really cared about, so she helped sabotage the deal. For this, she ended up being taken to America and adopted, after which she eventually joined the B.S.A.A. and returned to her native country to continue her quest.
* FurBikini: One of her alternate costumes.
* GeniusBruiser: Her file tells of her highly improbable exploits after coming to America, including enrolling in university at the age of 17 and learning English at a native level within six months of arrival.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Even amongst the other player characters, Sheva stands out. She is one of the nicest characters in the series, especially if you build up her trust, established to be just as good as Chris, Jill, Leon, or Claire, and in the final boss fight, you can have her do one of the most badass things in the series and turn Wesker's chest into a scratching post.
* TheHeart: For her team.
--> '''Josh:''' Sheva became the little sister of the team.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:She was about to perform one to kill Wesker and spare Chris, but Chris refuses to let history repeat itself.]]
* HotterAndSexier: One of her alternate costumes is a sexier version of the Literature/LittleRedRidingHood.
* TheLancer: For Chris.
--> '''Sheva:''' There's only so much one person can do. Even a superhero like you, Chris.
* MaleGaze: The first thing you're shown of her is pretty much her ''ass''.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: Her "Clubbin'" alternate costume is visibly inspired by a similar outfit worn by Halle Berry in ''Film/{{Swordfish}}''.
* SexySecretary: One of her alternate costumes is of a sexy secretary with a BadassInANiceSuit vibe.
* ShoutOut: One of her alternate costumes is a throwback to Hunnigan from ''4''.
* StepfordSmiler: She outrightly defies this trope based on analysis. Despite her tragic background, she refuses to be a let down, and instead keeps a healthy and upbeat attitude.
* TheStraightAndArrowPath: Her unlockable Long Bow weapon.
* TrueCompanions: She's pretty much about this, either for Chris or for her team.
* UnwantedAssistance: InUniverse. She becomes this if you allow her to carry all the healing items while you prioritize yourself with weaponry. If you get so much as ''a scratch'' she'll chase after you and try to waste the best herb/spray items futilely fixing you up.
* WhatTheHellIsThatAccent: It sounds like she's attempting an Afrikaans accent, but comes off sounding British.

->''"Captain Josh Stone. B.S.A.A. West African Branch."''

The captain of B.S.A.A. West Africa Branch and Sheva's mentor. He becomes Jill's partner in the DLC, Desperate Escape.
----
* BaldOfAuthority: Buzzed short rather than bald, actually. But Josh is definitely the competent and respected leader of the [=BSAA=] Delta team.
* TheCaptain: Captain of B.S.A.A. West Africa, and proves himself a capable leader under the worst circumstances.
* ChivalrousPervert: A minor example. He briefly flirts with Jill after they first meet, but he keeps things professional afterwards.
* GeniusBruiser: He's a physically imposing and talented soldier, but also skilled with computers and a capable pilot.
* GetawayDriver: A heroic example, providing the transportation to help Chris and Sheva escape hordes of murderous pursuers.
* LowerDeckEpisode: The DLC campaign ("Desperate Escape") allows you to play as him and Jill Valentine while trying to escape from the TRICELL headquarters.
* TheMentor: To Sheva.
* PromotedToPlayable: He becomes playable in the ''Desperate Escape'' DLC campaign.
* ProtectionMission: In Chapter 3-2, Chris and Sheva must fend off waves of enemies while Josh hacks terminals to aid their escape.
* TheSmartGuy: Chapter 3-2 focuses on Josh hacking several terminals to escape a lockdown, while Chris and Sheva defend him.
* SupportingLeader: Although the highest ranking officer not immediately killed off, Josh takes a supporting role to protagonists Chris and Sheva.
* TallDarkAndHandsome: Hailing at 6'1".
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: His melee takedowns include elbow drops, German suplexes, and ''chokeslams''.

Excella is the CEO of [[MegaCorp TRICELL Inc.]], Africa and one of the people responsible for the creation of the Uroboros Virus. She also shares Wesker's idea of [[TakeOverTheWorld world domination]] and intends to be the [[GodSaveUsFromTheQueen Queen]] of the new world with Wesker as her King.
----
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Was in love with Wesker.
* AssholeVictim: [[spoiler:Infected with Uroboros by Wesker during the penultimate chapter. Considering the things she's done, no one is shedding any tears.]]
* TheBaroness: She's the Sexpot variety, being very well-aware of her looks and used to being in a position of authority. She has ambitions to become the queen of the new world once Uroboros is unleashed.
* BetterLivingThroughEvil: Wesker assisted her in cementing her authority within TRICELL, and she's devoted to using her power to make his goal of world domination a reality.
%%* BrainyBrunette:
* TheCameo: [[spoiler: A picture of her briefly appears on Wesker's command console during Remake ''4''s post-credit scene.]]
* CombatStilettos: She keeps her high heels in Mercenaries Reunion.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: She is the CEO of TRICELL Inc., Africa and one of TRICELL's representatives in the Federation of Pharmaceutical Companies, which gives her executive power over the B.S.A.A. Not only is Excella in charge of TRICELL's secret illegal bioweapon business, but she also [[MoleInCharge keeps watch over B.S.A.A. activities for Wesker or steers them away from illegal TRICELL operations]]. However, this fails to stop [[{{Determinator}} Chris']] search for Jill Valentine.
* DarkActionGirl: [[DownplayedTrope Though she doesn't fight in the actual game]], on Mercenaries Reunion, she kicks ass with vicious elegance.
* TheDogBitesBack: [[spoiler:Accidental and post-mortem on her part. During an encounter with Chris and Sheva, Excella accidentally drops an attache case with syringes containing the serum [=PG67A=]/W inside. One of these syringes is later used by the two B.S.A.A. operatives to give Wesker an overdose shock. Given that Excella is dead because of Wesker by this time, this event gives her some form of poetic justice.]]
* TheDragon: She is Wesker’s right hand woman and while she doesn’t actively fight throughout the game, she does provide Wesker numerous amounts of money and resources needed for his experiments.
* EtTuBrute: [[spoiler:On the receiving end of this, though given it's [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder Wesker]] we're talking about, it's really no surprise.]]
* EvenEvilHasStandards: While Excella is fully onboard with Wesker's plan for global genocide, according to the [[AllThereInTheManual Resident Evil 6 Official Complete Guide]] she and the rest of Tricell realized that [[spoiler:after obtaining a sample of the T-Abyss Virus from her agents Jessica Sherawat and Raymond Vester that it was too dangerous to use as a bioweapon and used the company's position to prevent it from getting onto the black market.]]
* EveryoneLooksSexierIfFrench: Sort of. She possesses a French accent, but her last name suggests she's of Italian descent.
%%* EverythingSoundsSexierInFrench
* EvilutionaryBiologist: One of TRICELL Inc.'s [=CEO=]s and completely onboard with Wesker's genocidal plans for humanity. She's been using the local population as her test subjects, uncaring of the horrors she unleashes or the lives lost.
* FemmeFatale: {{Subverted}}. She has all it takes to be a femme fatale -- beauty, intelligence, and cunning -- but [[spoiler:she is the one who falls for Wesker's [[TheCasanova masculine wiles]] and pays dearly.]]
* {{Irony}}: Fully supports Wesker's plans to kill/mutate most of the global population with Uroboros. Ends up finding out she'd be one of those killed/mutated the hard way when Wesker injects her with Uroboros.
* InkSuitActor: Modelled after her voice and motion capture actress, Nina Fehren.
* JigglePhysics: The primary reason for this in the game, thanks to that low-cut and backless dress.
* MoleInCharge: She's the representative overseeing B.S.A.A. West Africa's activities, but also a bio-terrorist using that position to keep the authorities off Wesker's trail.
* MsFanservice: She wears a very revealing evening dress throughout the game, and turns on the sexuality to try to charm Wesker.
* NavelDeepNeckline: Her outfit has a plunging neckline that reaches her stomach.
* OmnicidalManiac: Excella agrees with Wesker's plan in ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil5'', which would include killing, at the least, ''billions'' of humans.
* RichBitch: The Gionne family owns a very successful European export-import business and one of Excella's grandmothers is of the Travis family, the original founders of TRICELL Inc. Rich, smart and beautiful, Excella looks down on almost everyone she meets.
* SayMyName: '''ALBEEEEEERRRT!!!'''
* SexyBacklessOutfit: Wearing a halter-style dress with a low-cut back that leaves little to the imagination.
* SheFu: Her Disco Spin move.
* SmugSnake: [[spoiler:Right up until she was betrayed by Wesker]], Excella believes that she has all the cards on deck and fully believes Chris and Sheva won't survive.
* StatuesqueStunner: 5'9".
* {{Stripperific}}: A backless mini-dress and pumps isn't appropriate attire for running around the African jungle or an oil rig.
* UnholyMatrimony: With Wesker, that she wants to supplant as the "King of the New World" while she will rule as its "Queen". Unfortunately, Wesker just sees her as another pawn, and his comments later when fighting Chris and Sheva makes it very clear why this is a bad idea.
--> '''Wesker:''' ''"Let me clarify something for you, Chris. I don't think of myself as a king. No, I am a god! And even kings bow to gods!"''
* UnwittingPawn: She believes that she will become partners with Wesker in his "New World". Too bad, Wesker [[spoiler:was only interested in using her and was planning to dispose him like he did with several other of his pawns.]]
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler: She doesn’t take being betrayed by Wesker and her body rejecting the Uroboros virus very well, bemoaning her situation as her body is being ravaged by the virus.]]
* VomitIndiscretionShot: [[spoiler: She vomits out tentacles that have been growing in her body, killing her and using her body as a base while gathering more bodies to make itself bigger.]]
* WomanOfWealthAndTaste: Her dress and shoes are both based on pieces by real life haute-couture designers. [[EverythingsSparklyWithJewelry Her jewels look just as expensive and chic]].
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: [[spoiler:Once the Uroboros Project is nearing its final phase, Wesker no longer has any use for Excella and infects her with Uroboros. With the virus rejecting her body, Excella can only anguish in pain and cry for Wesker one last time before dying]].

[[folder:Ricardo Irving]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Allan Groves
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ricardo_irving.jpg]]

->''"Splendid timing! Youse two are just in time for the fireworks show! Boom!"''

Director of the oil facility headed by [[MegaCorp TRICELL]] Africa, Irving helped found its B.O.W. research department, and subsequently became known as a "death dealer" on the black market for distributing the products Tricell developed to African bio-terrorists. Chris and Sheva going to Africa to capture him is what kickstarts the events of the game.
----
* AlasPoorVillain: After Irving is finally defeated, Chris pities him as he dies painfully.
-->'''Chris''': "Poor bastard..."
* DefiantToTheEnd: Upon his death, he keeps laughing and mocking Chris and Sheva:
-->'''Irving''': "Dying's not so bad. But it doesn't change anything... '''you're still screwed!'''"
* DiscOneFinalBoss: The first part of the game is all about chasing him, investigating him, and arresting him -- it's only upon his defeat that he lets it slip that he was merely following orders from TRICELL's CEO, Excella.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: When Chris and Sheva finally have him cornered, he complains that nobody is willing to give him respect despite having funded Wesker and Excella's entire operation.
* {{Expy}}: Many fans compared his behavior to that of Salazar from ''Resident Evil 4''. Both are over-the-top antagonists with thick accents (Irving's New York accent in comparison to Salazar's hispanic one) that transform into giant monsters by using a Dominant Strain of Plaga, while retaining their overall intelligence post-mutation.
%%* ItsAllAboutMe
* LargeHam: Especially once he goes OneWingedAngel.
--> '''Irving:''' I just had an extreme make-over!
* LastNameBasis: Is usually referred to by his last name.
* LastVillainStand: Irving's own boss fight is his last ditch effort to kill Chris and Sheva, since Wesker would kill him anyway for failing to do so.
* LaughablyEvil: He's rather amusing due to his bizarre, New York/Brooklyn accent and his hammy and over the top way of speaking.
* OneWingedAngel: A gigantic sea-beast most comparable to The Kraken.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Attempted this after failing to kill Chris and Sheva.
* VillainousBreakdown: After being ordered to kill Chris and Sheva at any cost, Irving sent countless Majini and several B.O.W.s to do the job, only to see them all be gradually cut down by the two B.S.A.A. operatives. Irving's frustration continued to grow until Chris and Sheva finally caught up to him, by which time he complained about their ability to stay alive. Knowing that Wesker would kill him if he failed, Irving decided that he had no choice but to infect himself with a Plaga in a last ditch attempt to kill them.
-->'''Irving:''' Won't you two just die already? You're making me look bad! Who do you think got this entire operation off the ground? Research like this doesn't fund itself, ya know? Yet everybody looks down on me... but not anymore!
* WhatTheHellIsThatAccent: His accent sounds like it's either a Brooklyn or New Jersey accent.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: By being forced to infect himself with a Dominant Strain of Plaga.
