[[folder:Katia]]
!!Katia [[PrecisionFStrike Fucking]] Managan
[[quoteright:190:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/katia_nervous_2.png]]
The protagonist of the comic, a down-on-her-luck Khajiit who may or may not be destined for greatness.

* AccidentalPornomancer: She's a ridiculously [[LovableSexManiac easy lay]] when she's [[ButLiquorIsQuicker drunk]], and happens to be an [[TheAlcoholic alcoholic]] who becomes totally drunk [[CantHoldHerLiquor after a single drop]].
* TheAlcoholic: A recovering one.
* AmbiguousDisorder: [[ImpliedTrope Possibly]]. She has difficulty understanding social cues and the reader commands [[AmbiguousSituation may or may not]] be her HearingVoices. She also displays numerous savant-like abilities: being able to determine the exact length of an object just by ''looking at it,'' being able to judge the current time ''down to the minute'' with next to no reference points, and learning multiple languages to the point of near-fluency from ''one-night stands.''
* BarefootCartoonAnimal[=/=]BarefootPoverty: {{Zig Zagged|Trope}}. She's not averse to boots, but due to her lack of funds, she can't afford to just buy her own clothing, and since her outfits tend to go completely missing the instant she gets a drop of alcohol (boots included), her barefooted status flip-flops with every outfit she gets. Young Katia (from her royalty-related nightmares) is also depicted barefoot.
* BadassBookworm: As revealed in both 'Extrapolate' and 'Precede', she's extremely literate.
* BoomerangBigot: {{Downplayed|Trope}} with a heaping dose of InnocentBigot. Growing up not knowing any Khajiit other than her parents, combined with her low self-esteem, has left her with some serious internalized racism in the form of believing most of the racial stereotypes applied to her are true. This makes things incredibly difficult when she tries to interact with other Khajiit, as she awkwardly tries to "fit in" by being as much of a stereotype as possible.
* BreakTheCutie: [[EnforcedTrope This trope is mentioned directly in the subtitle]].
* BrilliantButLazy: More like "Brilliant but Traumatized." In addition to the savant-like abilities mentioned above, she is extremely well-read, having been reading advanced literature like the [[https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Charwich-Koniinge_Letters Charwich-Koniinge Letters]] from an early age, and is able to memorize written information extremely quickly. On top of that, she seems to be a ''natural'' when it comes to magic, quickly sussing out how to perform spells with next-to-no instruction. Unfortunately, her recurring night-terrors and severe alcohol addiction left her too dysfunctional to make use of this natural intelligence until arriving in Cyrodiil.
** She's also [[https://www.prequeladventure.com/this/story556.gif quite good]] at [[https://www.prequeladventure.com/this/story789.gif drawing]]. And [[https://www.prequeladventure.com/this/story551.gif fashioning a functional backpack out of a hood and a leather strap]]. And keeping a purely mental inventory of the dozens of items she's carrying. Truth be told, for the most part she only seems to be bad at things she's emotionally invested in. She seems to be preternaturally good at nearly everything else.
* ButLiquorIsQuicker: Much, much quicker. Her first two nights spent drunk end with her sleeping with random strangers.
* ButtMonkey: And how.
* CantHoldHerLiquor: [[BeyondTheImpossible In the most absurd way possible]]. If she downs a ''single, solitary'' '''''sip''''' of alcohol, she immediately blacks out and gets into hours-long hedonistic shennanigans. [[OffTheWagon She tends to drink when depressed]].
* CatFolk: [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/summary-for-katia-excelsior/ According to the Katia: Excelsior! summary]], Katia is specifically a [[https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Suthay-raht Suthay-raht Khajiit]].
* ChangingClothesIsAFreeAction: [[ParodiedTrope Katia can get both into and out of any clothing instantaneously]].
* ClassicalAntiHero: She's an absolute mess, to the point where her goal is less to find success and more to stop being a ''total'' failure.
* ClothingDamage: Happens to the outfit she got for entering the dancing contest after defeating [[spoiler:the Imp Murderboss]]. Only her gloves actually broke, fortunately, but the implication was the rest could follow unless the outfit was soon replaced.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Only because of the audience typically, though during a brief segment where perspective flips to Quill-Weave then back, it's shown she can be just as odd on her own.
* CosmicPlaything: As she learns in Kvatch, [[spoiler:her nightmares seem to be part of some elaborate scheme by an unknown force, powerful enough to throw the Daedric Prince of Nightmares for a loop. It's clear that it has something to do with the rapidly-approaching Oblivion Crisis, and various easter eggs indicate that [[TopGod Akatosh Himself]] is playing some kind of role.]]
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Her life is ''really'' shitty and the story has only taken place over the course of about a week, [[BornUnlucky which has also been pretty shitty to her]].
* DeterminedDefeatist: Katia exemplifies the trope to a T.
* ElementalPunch: [[spoiler: [[TookALevelInBadass In one of her strongest moments]], she kills a [[EliteMook Greater Impmaster Murderboss]] with a fiery punch.]]
* FishOutOfWater: Katia, being from Hammerfell, is unfamiliar with both Cyrodiilic and Khajiiti ways. This leads to lots of awkward moments for her.
* HardDrinkingPartyGirl: Who CantHoldHerLiquor.
* HeroicWillpower: As much as she beats herself up over her failings, she's remarkably quick to get back on her feet, a trait which only grows as the story progresses. [[spoiler:It gets downright ''supernatural'' when Sigrid comes into play -- the former's 80,000 septims worth of charm spells and enchantments have ''little to no effect on her''; it's only through the application of Telvanni Bug Musk that she gains the upper hand.]]
* HiddenDepths: Despite seeming like an addiction-addled mess, she's actually sort of a ''genius''. Also, based on [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/this/KatiaInfiltrate.html Infiltrate]] she either has or a suppressed [[spoiler:heroic streak, as she's determined to not only get her stuff out and leave, but also find evidence for how Sigrid has been mind controlling and manipulating the people of Kvatch.]]
* HowDoIShotWeb: [[spoiler: Or rather, "How Do I Shoot Fire?" In the first stage of the story she had some...[[IncendiaryExponent difficulties]] getting the hang of her Pyrokinetic abilities. Now, she has them quite well mastered. For evidence, see ElementalPunch.]]
** [[spoiler: Getting the hang of her Telekinesis also took some practice. Fortunately, the Ancestor Ghost guided her through it.]]
* IHatePastMe: Enough to [[ThatManIsDead utterly reject her former self]] and change her name.
* InVinoVeritas: Normally, Katia is a ReluctantFanserviceGirl. A ''[[CantHoldHerLiquor single sip]]'' of any alcoholic beverage abruptly turns her into a [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl completely shameless]] [[LovableSexManiac sex machine]].
%%* KnowWhenToFoldEm
* KleptomaniacHero: She comments on numerous occasions that she actively fights what she assumes to be innate Khajiit instinct to steal things, and compensates by collecting random junk that she finds lying around in the open. [[spoiler:Sure enough, the moment she's left alone in a room full of riches and told to take as much as she feels appropriate, she goes ''[[https://www.prequeladventure.com/this/touch/KatiaTouchApproximatelyOne.html nuts]].'']]
* LoserProtagonist: [[ButtMonkey Definitely]] [[BornUnlucky fits]] [[CosmicPlaything the]] [[TheAlcoholic trope]].
* MeaningfulRename: Her original name is either [[AvertedTrope irrelevant]] or a closely guarded secret, depending on which [[WildMassGuessing fan theory]] proves accurate.
* MindOverMatter: [[spoiler: With the help of the dark elf ghost, she now knows telekinetic mysticism.]]
%%* {{NEET}}
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: She tends to mess things up in the most catastrophic of ways.
* NoNameGiven: Katia is just an alias. Her old name, which she threw away, has not been revealed, if it ever will be.
* NoSocialSkills: Katia frequently fails to pick up on social cues, such other's dislike or discomfort. This is [[RuleOfFunny particularly exaggerated]] during her interactions with Rajirra.
* {{Omniglot}}: She can speak Imperial standard, Dunmer, and Dragonish. [[ReallyGetsAround She apparently learned them all from one-night stands]]. Aggy asks her if one of them had a dragonling pet. [[NoodleIncident She doesn't respond]].
* PerpetualPoverty: Enforced by being robbed twice thus far.
* PingPongNaivete: Part of being a {{Cloudcuckoolander}} and also ButThouMust for certain elements of the plot.
* PlayingWithFire: [[spoiler: The first magical ability that she learns to master. It's foreshadowed as early as Anvil, at the beginning of the story.]]
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: It seems like the [[CosmicPlaything Universe itself]] conspires to have her denuded on a semi-regular basis, by everything from [[ClothingDamage battle damage]] to being robbed nude and [[NakedPeopleTrappedOutside left outdoors]].
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Thanks to the art style, she looks considerably more kitten-like than Khajiit do in games themselves. The same is true of all other Khajiits seen in the comic so far.
** [[spoiler: Her flashback to being a child during her second dream shows that little Katia was even more adorable than adult Katia.]]
* SexIsEvilAndIAmHorny: [[DownplayedTrope A mild example]]. She's not at all pleased with her [[ButLiquorIsQuicker inebriated one-night-stands]], but doesn't seem to think that sex itself is evil in any way. 'Precede' goes into a bit more into the details.
* SquareRaceRoundClass: As a Khajiit born to the Atronach sign [[note]]meaning that she not only has a racial penalty to willpower she also cannot passively regenerate Mana[[/note]], she was born with several severe handicaps towards magic. However, she ''can'' [[EnergyAbsorption freely]] ''[[EnergyAbsorption absorb]]'' [[EnergyAbsorption Mana]], making her a potential [[ManOfKryptonite counter-mage]].
* StartingANewLife: Her overarching goal. However, she spends most of the story failing at this as she continuously falls back into old habits. It must be remembered, however, that [[JustifiedTrope her journey only started days ago]].
* TheThingThatWouldNotLeave: To Quill-Weave.
* TookALevelInBadass: When fighting the imps. A literal example, as referenced by the "You just have to go a little crazy" line that accompanies your first level-up in Oblivion. [[spoiler: Increasingly this seems to be the direction of her overall CharacterDevelopment.]]
* WhatDidIDoLastNight: After any amount of [[CantHoldHerLiquor drink]], Katia tends to ''[[ReallyGetsAround do]]'' quite literally every man she sees. However, she usually doesn't remember any of the details.
* [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes Why Did It Have to Be Nobility?]]: She has a crippling fear of nobility, to the point that she sees Uriel Septim VII as a demon. It is apparently instinctive as the sight of Martin Septim leaves her frozen in fear even though for all she knows he's just a random priest.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: The Ancestor Ghost basically tells her this.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Anvil]]
!!!Quill-Weave / Kakar-Sutheeth [[note]]her name in her native tongue[[/note]] / Porcupine Dodger [[note]]the literal translation of her name that she used as a child[[/note]]
[[quoteright:185:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/quillweave.png]]
An Argonian acrobat and writer, and Katia's first (arguably only) friend in Cyrodiil. The simple delivery job she gives to Katia marks the start of the latter's adventure.

* AscendedExtra: In Oblivion she was just a minor character involved in a single quest, who is otherwise a completely mundane NPC. Here she's a major character in Katia's adventure.
* AdaptationalSexuality: In the game her sexual preferences aren't mentioned at all, and her relationship with Casta Scribonia is suggested to just be friendship. Here, it's heavily implied that she's infatuated with the latter.
* BarefootCartoonAnimal: Not as an adult, but back when she was "Porcupine Dodger", she only wore wraps that didn't even cover the feet below the ankles.
* BreakTheCutie: She's adorably enthusiastic at the start of ''Dodger: Break the Law'', but her encounter with the slavers does a number on her.
-->'''Quill-Weave:''' Speaking personally, today’s been a traumatic disaster and I was planning to go cry into a pillow for a week and never feel safe again.
* ChronicPetKiller: After Katia accidentally kills her fish, she says not to worry since she only gets pets to watch them die anyway.
* DeliberatelyMonochrome: Her [[ADayInTheLimelight Day In The Limelight]] stories are told in this manner. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] because she's colorblind.
* DrowningMySorrows: She had a breakup shortly before the start of the comic and did not take it well. ''Quill-Weave: Take Control of the Situation'' shows her downing ale like there's no tomorrow as a direct result.
* {{Gayngst}}: She's heavily implied to be a semi-closeted homosexual struggling with her feelings for a colleague. This makes things very awkward during her and Katia's "sleepover."
-->'''Katia:''' So this whole thing right now, [[ItMakesSenseInContext with us bedding down together while wearing almost nothing]], this is probably really awkward and uncomfortable for you?\
'''Quill-Weave:''' Yeah, kind of.
* LeParkour: She's offhandedly mentioned to be surprisingly skilled in this.
* LizardFolk: As an Argonian, of course.
* MythologyGag: Several.
** Her hatred of pets is a reference to the quest she's associated with in ''Oblivion'', where she [[spoiler:accidentally lures a mountain lion into her neighbor's basement in an attempt to get rid of said neighbor's disgusting pet rats.]]
** Her {{Gayngst}} over a romantic encounter with a colleague in Chorrol references her in-game schedule, in which she goes to the city once a month to visit fellow writer Casta Scribonia.
** Her parkour skills reference her in-game status as a skill trainer for acrobatics.
** The side-story ''Quill-Weave: Research'' is based on some filler dialogue in the game where she mentions writing a book about the Doomstones and questions whether they actually have any magic.
* NoodleIncident: She's the one who gave Katia the pineapple for her "trick". And near-instantly regretted it, although we ''still'' don't know exactly what happened.
* OnlyFriend: She's the closest thing to a friend Katia's had since arriving in Cyrodiil.
* QuestGiver: The main one.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: The young [[UnfortunateNames Porcupine Dodger]] is certainly this in spades [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/this/shhsecrets/quill97-4632663.gif when she's excited about something.]]
* SpinOff: Has had three short comics starring her that can be read [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/qw-research/ here]], [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/dodger-break-the-law/ here]] and [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/quill-weave-take-control-of-the-situation/ here.]]
* SpringtimeForHitler: A running theme in ''Dodger: Break the Law'' is that Quill is unable to break the law, due to escalating circumstances cropping up that prevent her from buying illegal drugs. [[spoiler:She finally achieves her goal at the end, drinking a bottle of wine stolen from the bandits despite being under the legal drinking age, loosely implied to be the source of her alcoholism prior to the main story.]]
* StraightGay: She's eventually revealed to be gay, though it's implied that she's only recently becoming open about it. ''Dodger: Break the Law'' is set back when she was still in the closet, and while it doesn't come up in the story itself, it is illustrated by her mental image of imaginary criminals - the two males are drawn crudely, but the female is drawn in a sexy pose with great attention to detail.
* UnfortunateNames: She chooses to translate her name as "Quill-Weave", but its literal meaning in Jel is "Porcupine Dodger" due to a NoodleIncident on her nameday.

!!!Gharug gro-Upp
[[quoteright:185:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gharuggroupp.png]]
An Orsimer brigand who Katia had drunken sex with on her first night in Cyrodiil. Has since become an unstoppable force of pure luck.

* AffablyEvil: When robbing Katia. He sincerely commends her for not putting up any resistance, lets her keep her book and Quill-Weave's letter, offers to write her a receipt for the stolen goods, and wishes her luck in earning more money (though granted, that last part is probably so he can rob her again in the future). In general, he's friendly and chatty to ''everyone'' he comes across.
** FauxAffablyEvil: However, it's obvious that there are clear and dangerous limits to his friendly demeanour. [[spoiler: His interaction with Dmitri comes across as both AffablyEvil and this, since he winds up [[DisproportionateRetribution killing him over one innocuous comment.]]]]
* AscendedExtra: As many supporting characters in ''Prequel'', Gharug is one of those: while he doesn't appear in the game itself, if he did, he would have been a generic, nameless highwayman, just like Asotil would have been a nameless Legion Soldier and [[DarkIsNotEvil Dmitri]] a nameless Necromancer.
* BerserkButton: [[PunctuatedForEmphasis Don't. Talk about. The Kvatch Mage's Guild.]] [[spoiler: Poor Dmitri... ]]
** If Gharug was indeed the Highwayman whom Sigrid conned out of a priceless diamond, it would certainly explain his [[spoiler: lethal]] reaction.
* BiggerIsBetterInBed: An area from his crotch to his knee is pixellated when he's naked.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Much like Asotil, Gharug is odd but extremely effective at his profession. By treating Brigandry as a business (complete with secure investments, item appraisals, bookkeeping, and low-risk ventures) he's managing to do very well for himself during the comic's story. [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext The four-leaf clovers help.]]
* BornLucky: Well, maybe not ''born'' lucky, but still. After stealing Katia's four-leaf-clover he proceeds to gather several more off-screen. By his fourth appearance he's bursting out of conveniently-empty underground ruins filled with riches, covered head-to-toe in four-leaf clovers, and wearing a giant golden horseshoe around his neck.
* CatchPhrase: He's got to get his ''catch'' on, if you know what he's saying. ([[DontExplainTheJoke He's saying]] [[PhraseCatcher he has a catch phrase.]])
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: And surprisingly his logic is [[TheCuckoolanderWasRight often flawless]].
* CrazyPrepared: Often, the characters that Gharug has held up have had exactly the right object on hand that would foil him. And he's ''always'' had the right countermeasure prepared and stored [[VictoriasSecretCompartment on himself.]]
* TheHighwayman: He'll have you know he considers himself a ''professional'' Highwayman.
* NakedFirstImpression
* PunnyName
* VictoriasSecretCompartment: You don't want to know where he keeps items.

!!!A Soldier of the Imperial Legion / "Asotil"
[[quoteright:175:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/asotil-w350-h225_679.png]]
A jovial, valiant, and slightly insane Imperial Legionary that patrols the road from Anvil to Kvatch. He only ever introduces himself as "A Soldier of the Imperial Legion," leading Katia and the audience to nickname him [[FunWithAcronyms "Asotil."]]

* AllCrimesAreEqual: Pretty much his response to any crime is "kill." And apparently all ''non''-crimes are equal as too, as his response to any non-crime (such as peeing or vomiting in someone's plant) is that it's "perfectly legal under Imperial Law and therefore fine to do".
* BerserkButton: Criminal Scum.
* BlackAndWhiteInsanity: His view of the world comes dangerously close to this (see AllCrimesAreEqual), but apparently he's willing to respond to at least ''some'' crimes (such as drug abuse) with mere imprisonment rather than execution (then again, that was when ''he'' was the criminal, so he might just be a {{hypocrite}}...). The truly scary thing is that he seems to feel that anything that ''isn't'' a crime is "fine to do" in practice. In theory he seems to have ''some'' understanding of what is socially acceptable, but apparently doesn't really ''care''.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: While he is a skilled warrior, he has little concern for social norms as long as they aren't technically against the law.
* CapitalLettersAreMagic: Criminal Scum[[labelnote:*]](such as Gharug gro-Upp, the Green Scourge of the Gold Road)[[/labelnote]], True Justice[[labelnote:*]](which involves lots of Justice Detours, and is helped along by Vital Clues)[[/labelnote]], and other concepts related to his duties as A Soldier of the Imperial Legion[[labelnote:*]](Upholders of Justice and Defenders of this Great Nation and all those who live within its Glorious Borders)[[/labelnote]] are SeriousBusiness and must be capitalized At All Times.
* DeliberatelyMonochrome: Like Quill-Weave, his [[ADayInTheLimelight side-stories]] are done in this manner. Unlike Quill-Weave, however, it's not done to reflect colorblindness but rather his [[BlackAndWhiteInsanity Black-and-White]] worldview.
* GuestStarPartyMember: From the road from Anvil to Kvatch.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: If [[WordOfGod Kazerad]]'s comment on [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/fanartbooru/post/view/2264#search=character%3AASOTIL this fanart]] is anything to go by, Asotil has a head full of blond hair and (AxCrazy {{Cloudcuckoolander}} tendencies notwithstanding) a benevolent, brave and courageous heart to match.
* IDoNotSpeakNonverbal: Is evidently completely unaware (or simply heedless) of how much the countess hates when he ''drops dead bodies on the dining room floor.''
* LargeHam
* LawfulStupid: As a parody of the guardsmen of Oblivion, this is a given.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: '''A''' '''S'''oldier '''o'''f '''t'''he '''I'''mperial '''L'''egion.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kvatch]]
!!!Sigrid
[[quoteright:190:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sigridthewitch.png]]
A Nord woman in charge of the mysterious Kvatch Mages Guild. Turns out to be running a massive charm magic-fueled scam on the whole town, with Katia as her latest victim.

* AdaptationalBadass: As an NPC in Oblivion she has a 100 in the Merchantile stat, which is unusually high for such a minor character. In this story, she's artificially enhanced her charisma to dangerous levels through exploiting the series' infamously game-breaking crafting mechanics.
* AdaptationalVillainy: In Oblivion she's just a generic NPC merchant. Here, she's a major antagonist.
* AmbiguouslyEvil: Stephane argues that Sigrid isn't evil, simply ambitious and opportunistic. [[spoiler:Then it turns out he's just as brainwashed as everyone else, and it seems like she really is a narcissistic psychopath. ''Then,'' when Katia beats her at her own game and removes all of her charm enchantments, it turns out that Sigrid's overpowering charm was driving her insane, and she really isn't ''that'' bad.]]
* AscendedExtra: She's one of the survivors of Kvatch in Oblivion.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: To the people of Kvatch, Sigrid is lovely, charitable, and a charming friend to all. Her MotiveRant, however, firmly solidifies her as a ruthless and opportunistic (and potentially ''murderous'') MisanthropeSupreme. [[spoiler: The latest update shows that this may have been the result of her artificially boosting her charm to unnatural levels, effectively turning her into a sociopath.]]
* CompellingVoice: She is noted to be incredibly charismatic and her Mercantile is 100 in Oblivion. According to Stephane, on top of being extraordinarily charming, she's used alchemy and enchantments to boost her Personality stat to ridiculous levels. Additionally, her perfume is [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/2013/08/katia-cut-to-the-chase/ specifically stated]] to be Telvanni Bug Musk, a particularly potent mind-affecting pheromone substance against which magic resistance spells or potions are useless. As if that weren't enough, she even ''bathes'' in it. [[spoiler:As Katia learns firsthand, the effect is so powerful that ''Sigrid herself'' has been under its effects, boosting her ego to psychopathic levels.]]
* CrazyPrepared: She tells a captured Katia that she's wearing "eighty thousand septims worth of spells and enchantments." It's further confirmed when the Maker® sees she has no less than three charm enchantments on her clothes, along with rudimentary wards and a scroll-cast charm spell. [[spoiler: Not to mention having a cage and [[ItMakesSenseInContext luck-enchanted bowling ball]] set up in the Mage's Guild Basement and rigged to trap intruders. Some things still manage to blindside her, however. See DidntSeeThatComing and OhCrap.]]
* DidntSeeThatComing: [[spoiler: The [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/2018/08/14473/ expression]] on her face when Katia succeeds in summoning a skeleton inside her cage is basically a visual representation of this trope. She recovers quickly, though.]]
* DidYouJustScamCthulhu: Managed to get ''[[OurDemonsAreDifferent Vaermina]]'' to paint her mural thanks to her overwhelming charisma.
* EvilIsPetty: While interrogating a captive and at-her-mercy Katia, Sigrid never misses an opportunity to belittle her, claiming ''she's'' the one [[NeverMyFault who's being unreasonable]], that everything bad that's happened to her in Kvatch is her own fault, that [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech she has no friends]], and that [[ImpliedDeathThreat no-one would miss her if she were to 'disappear']].
* FakeUltimateHero: Stephane believes that she is a hero capable of defying fate and performing great feats due to her incredible powers of persuasion. In the game she's just one of the few survivors of the destruction of Kvatch and her role in the Oblivion Crisis does not go beyond selling potions to the REAL Champion of Cyrodiil (at a steep markup) before they enter the Oblivion gate. It's ''heavily'' implied that Stephane only thinks this because of Sigrid's CompellingVoice.
* TheGhost: For a while.
* HeelRealization: [[spoiler:Experiences one after Katia removes her charm enchantments and bug musk. Turns out she was being influenced by it just as much as everyone else.]]
--> [[spoiler:"You know, Katia, without all the charm magic… [[{{Understatement}} I come across as somewhat douchey]], don’t I?"]]
* KickTheDog: Her robbing Katia is this. Made worse by the fact that her actions inflict a DespairEventHorizon on Katia and (briefly) drive her into another depressive, self-loathing slump.[[labelnote:*]]Worse still, Katia's possessions at the time were meager, while Sigrid literally has ''piles'' of money in her home. She didn't exactly need the cash.[[/labelnote]]
* ManipulativeBitch: Albeit one who substantially boosts her manipulative abilities with enchantments and mind-controlling insect pheromone perfumes.
* MeaningfulName: Sigrid means 'victory,' 'wisdom,' and 'beautiful.'
* MotiveRant: Gives one to a captive Katia that is a mix of ThenLetMeBeEvil, OpportunisticBastard, AboveGoodAndEvil, TheEvilsOfFreeWill, and HobbesWasRight. She even takes the opportunity [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to belittle Katia at the same time.]] [[spoiler:It turns out most of this was the result of her charm-induced insanity.]]
* MisanthropeSupreme: She believes all people are selfish and terrible and that morality is ultimately just a question of who's best at getting what they want. [[spoiler:It's at least partly due to her overwhelming charm affecting her mind.]]
--> People are terrible. Do I really have to spell it out? As much as you ''all'' love to talk about right and wrong, ''every person'' seems to have their own idea of what that is, and – surprise surprise – it’s always whatever feeds ''their'' desires. (...) The "evil" these people decry is whatever happens to be inconveniencing them at that moment, and the "good" they praise is whatever licks their shiny boots. They’re ''animals'', Katia. Selfish, short-sighted animals...
** [[spoiler: Even with the mental fog of the charm magic removed, she says that there is no good and evil, just weak banding together to fight their imagined "good" while the strong stamp them down for a their imagined "greater good". She's also "slightly terrified" that Katia ''hadn't'' immediately stolen her remaining charm gear and potions and used them against her. So it's safe to say that she's naturally somewhat of a misanthrope, it's just that the charm magic ''amplified'' it.]]
* OhCrap: Sigrid's normally-unflappable demeanour starts to [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/2018/08/14473/ crack]] [[spoiler: when she sees Katia devouring ''fistfuls'' of imp gall, enough to counteract or even exceed the effect of her own Telvanni Bug Musk. Cue rapidly spraying herself with more Bug Musk.]] She then immediately gets a bigger one [[spoiler: when Katia shouts back the ''exact same'' command at her, and finds herself [[HoistByHisOwnPetard compelled to follow it]].]]
--> [[spoiler: ''Don't say anything!'']]
* OpportunisticBastard: She is fully aware she is one, and believes ''everyone'' is this.
--> I'm not better than them. I'm better AT it than them.
* PetTheDog: According to Stephane, she once conned a highwayman (possibly Gharug gro-Upp) out of a priceless diamond, only to donate it to the Kvatch Orphanage later that night.
* SavedByCanon: The fact that she shows up in Oblivion means that she'll survive the story as well as the Invasion of Kvatch.
* ScrewDestiny: According to Stephane, she is able to ignore the fate planned out for her. Of course, [[UnreliableExpositor Stephane]] may not be [[BrainwashedAndCrazy entirely unbiased in his assertion.]]
* SummoningRitual: Once had Vaermina, Daedric Prince of Nightmares summoned, partially at the request of Guard Captain Gaius and partially to [[DidYouJustScamCthulhu get a mural painted.]]
* ThisCannotBe: A very downplayed example, but she flat-out ''refuses'' to believe that Katia threw off the effects of her [[CompellingVoice Telvanni Bug Musk]] so quickly without any sort of magical intervention or outside help.
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: Sigrid has worked hard to create, and maintain, her reputation in Kvatch as an upstanding citizen famed for her kindness and acts of generosity. Sometimes with the help of mind-controlling pheromones.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: [[spoiler:As Katia learns firsthand, artificially boosting your charisma to CompellingVoice levels causes you to start charming ''yourself.'' Sigrid's psychotic narcissism is a result of her doing so for ''years,'' and once Katia removes her enchantments and washes off her bug musk, she experiences something of a HeelRealization.]]
* WorldsMostBeautifulWoman: According to Asotil.

!!!Captain Gaius Atrum
[[quoteright:190:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/captaingaius.png]]
Kvatch's paranoid Captain of the Guard. He's obsessed with cultists and the threats they may pose due to recurring nightmares he's had all his life.

* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: The Captain of the Kvatch City Guard, and has the skills to back it up, if his BadassBoast is anything to go by.
* BadassBoast: "I've been in the guard longer than you've been alive, breton. I’ve seen frenzied trolls burst forth from the ground, men get ripped to shreds by land-roving dreugh, zombies tear down entire villages with nothing but their teeth, and that's all in the last two years. I can hit an imp with a bow at three hundred yards, kill a grizzly bear in hand-to-hand combat, and cut a man in half with one swing of a sword. 'Trembling with fear' isn't in my vocabulary. I handle the fear, so you prissy magefolk never have to see it."
* BrokenAce: He's strong and ''was once'' charismatic enough to lead the Kvatch Guard, but his nightmares have turned him into a paranoid wreck of a man, seeking evidence of cults in every corner in an attempt to find an explanation for them.
* ConspiracyTheorist: His recurring nightmares have caused him to see cultists everywhere.
* DoomedByCanon: He does not appear in ''Oblivion,'' and given that Savlian Matius is said to be the highest-ranking guard still alive during the quest to repel the daedra from Kvatch, it's almost certain that he'll meet his end soon.
* GoodIsNotNice: He's willing to hear Katia out after (somewhat) convincing him she's not a cultist, but he's still got a city to protect, so he's not going to go along with her every crazy idea, and he isn't afraid to be blunt about it.
* ManlyFacialHair: A full-grown beard, although still well-trimmed, befitting a strong but professional Captain.
* ProperlyParanoid: There ''is'' a cultist from the Mythic Dawn right outside the Kvatch gates. If you've played ''Oblivion'', you know [[spoiler:he's planning for a siege of Kvatch that will burn down the town and kill most of the population. This likely includes Gaius himself, seeing as how he's not a character who exists in the game.]]
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Sworddog, his pet. [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin She's a canine with enough swords to arm a squad strapped to her.]]
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: What he was implied to be, before his recurring nightmares have reduced him to a paranoid coward that is mocked by his subordinates.
* [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes Why Did It Have To Be Cultists]]: His recurring nightmares have given him a severe phobia about cultists, causing him to think they are everywhere and making it difficult to trust anyone. [[spoiler:His dreams have gotten to the point where he's resorted to contacting Vaermina, Daedric Prince of Nightmares, in order to discern their meaning.]]

!!!Stephane
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/stephane.png]]
A Breton mage and priest of Akatosh associated the Kvatch Mage's Guild. He is a (somewhat) begrudging accomplice in Sigrid's schemes.

* ForScience: It's implied later on the reason he's working with Sigrid is to understand what exactly she is. Note too that he's the only person yet shown to be [[spoiler: not under her control. Or at least, that's how it ''seems''...]]
* InTheHood
* {{Jerkass}}
* MoralityPet: Claims to serve this role for Sigrid, though he is not always successful in his attempts. [[spoiler: And that's without going into the very likely possibility that she merely made him ''think'' he's this.]]
* RightForTheWrongReasons: [[spoiler:It turns out that his belief that Sigrid isn't ''really'' an evil sociopath is correct, but it's entirely by accident because he was just as brainwashed as everyone else. Furthermore, his attempt to have Katia teach Sigrid humility ''also'' worked, but not in the way he expected or intended.]]
* SmugSnake
* UnreliableExpositor: [[spoiler: When it comes to [[CompellingVoice Sigrid]], he is this.]]
* WrongGenreSavvy: He evidently sees Sigrid as someone destined for great things and capable of rivaling omnipotent beings. In actuality she's an unimportant NPC in Oblivion. [[spoiler: Her CompellingVoice likely helped him reach that conclusion.]]

!!!A Perfectly Normal Human Female / "Nah"
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nah.png]]
A [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial perfectly normal human]] who hangs out in the Kvatch graveyard under a tree, refusing to step out of the shade. She ''definitely'' isn't a vampire. That would be ridiculous!

* BerserkButton: ''Do not'' mention healing potions around her, unless you want to hear a rant about how they're too ''easy'' compared to ''glorious surgery''!
* EverybodyKnewAlready: ''[[https://www.prequeladventure.com/2019/10/katia-deliver-apology/ Katia: Deliver apology]]'' reveals that, despite her [[ImplausibleDeniability constant insistence]] to the contrary, the city guard is fully aware of her being a vampire and just sort of rolls with it.
* ImplausibleDeniability: She isn't a vampire, that's ludicrous. She just happens to have fang-shaped incisors, a fascination with blood, a fetish for putting her mouth on people's necks, and likes to play a game where she stays away from direct sunlight all day. Perfectly normal human behavior.
** Captain Atrum reveals he's fully aware of her vampirism, and Katia is grateful somebody finally acknowledges it.
* TheMedic: An ''old-school'' medic. She dislikes the modern day and it's healing potions, preferring to heal wounds with gauze and moxie. It's absolutely because she likes the old ways, and [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial certainly not because it involves lots of blood]].
* MostDefinitelyNotAVillain: Nearly every word that comes out of her mouth is an attempt to deflect any suspicions that she might be a vampire.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: She responds to an attempt to name her with "Nah."

!!!Rajirra
[[quoteright:175:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rajirra.png]]
An acrobatic Khajiit that Katia bumps into one night in Kvatch. She has ''very'' little patience for Katia's poor social skills, yet gets roped into her antics regardless.

* BarefootCartoonAnimal: Unlike Katia, who's barefoot half the time [[BarefootPoverty simply because she can't buy footwear]], Rajirra is barefoot by choice. She {{justifie|dTrope}}s this by noting it's summer in the south of Cyrodiil. Unfortunately for her, she didn't anticipate the coating of magic-induced snow covering the ground...
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Gives this reason for why she likes Sigrid. Even though Sigrid has her do the same jobs every other employer has her do, Sigrid was the only one who bothered to ask what skills Rajirra had, instead of correctly assuming she had those skills because she is a Khajit.
* BrutalHonesty: Is completely up front about how much she dislikes Katia, and pokes a lot of holes in Katia's plan to start a new life.
* DirtyCoward: [[spoiler:She runs off the instant she and Katia are confronted by the Imp Murderboss, and locks the door, preventing Katia from escaping with her.]]
* IdenticalStranger: Katia admits to the audience that Rajirra looks pretty much like her in every way, although it's not certain if this is actually true or if it is Katia's InternalizedCategorism acting up.
* {{Jerkass}}: Towards Katia. It is at least somewhat understandable, given Katia's [[NoSocialSkills total lack of social skills around her]]. [[spoiler:However, her abandoning Katia to face the [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast Greater Impmaster Murderboss]] - including ''locking the door behind her and lying about why she's running away'' - cements her as this.]]
* NotSoAboveItAll: [[spoiler:"Oh come on! She called you a 'racial stereotype' for stealing that off the ground and then ''pickpocketed'' it from you?"]]
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: [[spoiler:She runs away from the Imp Murderboss, and locks Katia in the room with him.]]
* StraightMan: She's much more curt and pragmatic than Katia, and would rather not bother with her at all if she could avoid it. This is not helped by Katia's AmbiguousDisorder and lack of experience in Khajiiti customs (despite ''being'' a Khajiit) leading to several accidental racist remarks.

!!!Weedum-Ja
[[quoteright:175:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/weedum_ja.png]]
A young Argonian female whom Katia met when she first entered Kvatch. She is later seen clearing the mess Katia left in the Chapel of Kvatch.

* AscendedExtra: Not that she has much importance in the webcomic either, but in the game she's just a refugee in the camp near Kvatch, with few dialogue lines, no role in any quest whatsoever and no services to offer to the player.
* HiddenBadass: She is a ''level 20 Pilgrim''. To put that into perspective, the typical player will be at best level ''two'' when they reach Kvatch should they start the [[TheQuest Main Quest]] right away. In other words, ''Weedum-Ja could have effortlessly and single-handedly driven the Daedra out of Kvatch, possibly even saving the whole city in the process''. Probably a case of GameplayAndStorySegregation, though.

!!!S'Thengir
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bartender_2.png]]
An irritable Khajiit bartender who owns and operates the sleazier of Kvatch's two taverns. ''Seriously'' dislikes Katia, for numerous reasons.

* ButtMonkey: Throughout the comic, he is insulted by (accidental) racist remarks from a member of his ''own species'', has an arrogant human mage barge in dragging said Khajiit that he's previously banned for life, is ''flipped off'' by said mage, is apparently browbeaten into serving them drinks, has one of his bowls [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/2013/08/katia-cut-to-the-chase/ bent into a horrible milk taco]], watches one of his tables get stolen by some random Dunmer ancestral spirit, and gets pelted with a snowball from Katia when she mistakes him for Rajira. No wonder he's always upset.
* DeadpanSnarker: After Katia asks him what "you guys" (meaning Cyrodiilic Khajiit) do around Kvatch, he snarks that he wakes up at four in the morning, licks himself clean, and plays with some string until "his humans" move the string to the bar so he'll go there instead. When Katia confusedly asks whether he's joking or not, S'Thengir is ''not'' amused that anyone (especially another Khajiit) would actually believe he was being serious.
* DeathGlare: His default expression when anywhere near Katia.
* DisproportionateRetribution: After Katia accidentally makes some insensitive remarks about Khajiiti culture (as she has spent her whole life in Hammerfell raised far away from most other Khajiit), he bans her from his bar for life.
* HypocriticalHumor: Despite his dislike of being thought of as some common housecat, [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/2017/09/katia-infiltrate/ Katia: Infiltrate]] shows that he sleeps in a giant cat bed behind his bar when Katia peers through the keyhole of his tavern at night.
* INeedAFreakingDrink: When Stephane drags Katia into his bar, he is browbeaten into not only allowing her to stay, but also into serving them drinks while they talk. He spends most of Katia and Stephane's conversation glaring at them angrily before pouring himself a drink and proceeding to get as drunk as he can.
* {{Jerkass}}: Despite Katia clearly stating that she's nervous and has not actually been around other Khajiit most of her life, he still comes off nasty and mean to her.

!!!Count Ormellius Goldwine
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/countprequel2.png]]
The count of Kvatch, who has been struggling with his duties as of late. He's featured only in [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/this/KatiaExcelsior.html [S]Katia: Excelsior!]] and [[http://www.prequeladventure.com/this/KatiaInfiltrate.html [S]Katia: Infiltrate]].

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Able to detect an invisible Katia entirely by sound, and has skewered many would-be assassins.
* CharacterFilibuster: Once Katia convinces him not to stab her, he begins discussing the many problems he's had ruling Kvatch. Katia fails to interrupt him, at least until [[SuperWindowJump she jumps through a window]].
* DoomedByCanon: He will meet his end in the daedra attack on Kvatch during ''Oblivion'''s main quest, with the Hero of Kvatch retrieving his signet ring for the acting captain of the city guard.
* RoyalRapier: Draws one on Katia when she passes by.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Wilderness]]

!!! The Ancestor Ghost / "Aggy"
[[quoteright:190:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_guardian_spirit.png]]
The senile former guardian spirit to a long line of dunmer adventurers. After his last descendant died stupidly, he spent some time haunting his body, then just wandering around, before deciding to search for an interesting warrior to do guardian stuff for.

* BunnyEarsLawyer: Despite being half-deranged after centuries as an incorporeal spirit, he's extremely wise and has a significant amount of experience with magic, and is able to teach Katia surprisingly well even while constantly forgetting who she is and why he's talking to her.
* CrazyMemory: He admits that his memory is somewhat "fuzzy," which turns out to be something of an understatement. Two days after meeting Katia he's already forgotten the details of their encounter and seems to think she was an argonian. By the time he starts training her, he frequently forgets what he's doing and where he is mid-sentence.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: He's very out there, mainly due to his rapidly-encroaching "ghost insanity."
** It's implied in "Pass Down" that Aggy was actually insane even when he was alive.
* {{Determinator}}: If not one himself, he inspires this in Katia during 'Extrapolate'. In his own words, it is "pushing a broken idea so many times that reality is forced to accept it!"
* FantasticRacism: Considers anyone not a dark elf to be inferior.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Thinks ''Katia'' is a great adventurer.
* InsaneTrollLogic: RUNS on this. It's his entire modus operandi for "thinking like a witch hunter."
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He served as a mentor to Katia even though he considers non-Dunmers to be inferiors, along with the fact that Dark Elves have a long history of enslaving Khajiits.
* {{Metaphorgotten}}: Half of his explanations of mysticism are actually analogies that don't quite make sense. It doesn't help that he frequently forgets what he's talking about mid-sentence.
-->'''Aggy:''' I’ll level with you here: I have completely lost track of this analogy.
* OffWithHisHead: Possibly how he died. While explaining mysticism to Katia, he mentions something about a bridge and riding a horse and getting you head knocked off by the bridge, presumably as part of a metaphor, but then he says "That's not a mistake I'm making a second time" And then he forgets how the bridge fits into the metaphor.
* SpiritAdvisor
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: He just kinda vanishes when the tomb he was in fell apart, and reappears later with not much explanation of what happened.

!!!Dmitri Argoth
[[quoteright:190:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dmitriargoth.png]]
An affable necromancer who had a drunken threesome with Katia and a skeleton. The audience briefly assumes his perspective during Katia's journey to Kvatch, and guide his attempts to reach out and befriend her.

* AffablyEvil: If he can even be called 'evil'. See NiceGuy.
* [[CrazyCatLady Crazy Cat Guy:]] Has several cats (and brought back his first one with necromancy, unwilling to let death take it), and seems a bit enamored of Katia after a mere one-night stand.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Dislikes it when his friends are racist or speciesist.
* MauveShirt: [[spoiler:Gets enough characterization to establish his personality and be likeable to the audience. Then he runs afoul of [[TheHighwayman Gharug Gro-Upp.]]]]
* NiceGuy: For "a servant to an unholy lich seeking world domination", he's an awfully kindhearted person. After his night with Katia, he leaves her a kind letter, a Potion of Cure Disease he mixed on the spot, and — to make up for not saying a proper goodbye — a box of Nord chocolates. When he sees Quill-Weave's distress at the state of her room, he also enchants the skeleton to clean up.
** Later, he feels bad enough about taking advantage of Katia that he composes "a letter of heartfelt apology" (and even signs it with his full name when he would usually make do with a "D"), considers offering her an apprenticeship, considers sending her a gift basket full of magic potions, and is even willing to send one of his old magic items as a goodwill offering — despite never having pawned any of them off because they carried "a bit too much sentimental value". Of course, this all may be a manifestation of a possible infatuation with Katia, but there's no indication that it's a significant departure from his usual personality. He also has several cats that he cares for very attentively.
* SlashedThroat: [[spoiler:On the recieving end of one after accidentally ticking off Gro-Upp.]]
* WeHardlyKnewYe: [[spoiler:Gets killed off at the end of his first appearance, with all of his efforts to contact Katia seemingly wasted.]]

!!!The Nightmare King
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nightmareking.png]]
A terrifying, monstrous appartition of a monarch that has appeared to Katia in recurring night-terrors since the age of four. Bears a striking resemblance to Emperor Uriel Septim VII.

* TheDreaded: In the eyes of Katia. It's almost certain that this terrifying ''thing'' is responsible for her severe phobia of nobility.
* HumanoidAbomination: Most of the time, it's just a creepy-looking king. The moment Katia reacts to it with anything but terror, though...
* MythologyGag: Its resemblance to the reigning Emperor and the heavy emphasis on the Amulet of Kings around its neck are a clear reference to the forthcoming Oblivion Crisis, though its exact meaning and significance are ambiguous.

!!! [=CairnCorp®=]
A privately-owned daedric corporation that provides safe alternatives to demonic summoning.

* CelestialBureaucracy: Better skeleton summoning through user-focused business practices!
* ReadTheFinePrint: Inverted: [=CairnCorp®=] is rather insistent on Katia going through the 350-page-long contract, which is inconvenient when it needs to be signed as quickly as possible- Katia has to be channeled through three layers of corporate management just to avoid reading the fine print.
* TradeSnark: All over the place.

!!!Audience
The whirling tempest of contradictory advice that somehow found its way into [[HearingVoices Katia's head]].

* BrokenBase: InvokedTrope. A trademark of the Audience is its inability to come to a consensus. This invariably leads to fragments of Katia's subconscious swearing to the Nine Divines that the 'majority' of commands opposed an action that Katia has taken.
* ChaoticStupid
* TheKidWithTheRemoteControl: Although not to the degree some elements of the Audience would like. Katia remains the ultimate arbiter of her actions, with the Audience merely providing suggestions in the back of her mind.

!!!Agent Briarbird
An Altmer working for the Empire as an undercover agent.

* TheAce: He's ''very'' good at his job, as detailed in HeroOfAnotherStory and OneManArmy below.
* BadassLongcoat: Wears a rather classy longcoat that looks a lot like the robes worn by the [[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim Thalmor mages]].
* BerserkButton: While "berserk" is an overstatement, people getting his codename wrong ''really'' annoys him. In fact, the reason he ends up blowing his cover is because he keeps correcting the slavers when they refer to him as "Butterbard" or "Bearbird".
* BoomHeadShot: How he kills one of the slavers after his cover gets blown.
* CaughtByArrogance: When the slavers he's investigating undercover talk about agent "Betterbard", he keeps correcting them when they get his name or exploits wrong, eventually breaking into a rant about how awesome he is, at which point the criminals realize who he is.
--> You’re totally him, aren’t you? (...) No, I mean, dude. We weren’t even ''suspicious'' of you until your tirade about how great Betterb-
* {{Hammerspace}}: Besides the fact that he keeps ''several'' swords inside his [[TrenchCoatWarfare longcoat]], he also summons one apparently out of nowhere before attacking the slavers.
* HeroOfAnotherStory: Briarbird only appears in a side-story, set years before the events of the main comic. But considering that he's apparently one of the Empire's finest agents, there's no doubt he's been involved in many adventures both before and after his encounter with Dodger. His known deeds include quashing two political rebellions, rescuing Dunmer hostages from an Orc fortress and disguising himself as a Redguard head of state after spending a week learning Illusion magic.
* NobleBigotWithABadge: He clearly thinks lowly of the Argonians. He's also investigating an underground slaver ring that sells Argonians into slavery.
* OffWithHisHead: How he kills another slaver.
* OneManArmy: After his cover is blown, he effortlessly wipes out the entire slaver ring he was sent to investigate in a matter of ''seconds''.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: His real name is unknown; he's only referred to as "Briarbird", which is his codename as an Imperial agent.
* TrenchCoatWarfare: Conceals about ''six'' Akaviri katanas inside his coat. How said coat manages to fold when Briarbird sits down is anyone's guess.
* WorthyOpponent: [[OneHitKill Not that it does said opponent any good, mind you]]. But while Briarbird is busy decimating the slavers, he's confronted by one of them who happens to be a fellow High Elf. Briarbird and the slaver look at eachother, share a respectful, smiling nod, and Briarbird vaporizes the Altmer slaver in a single shot before he has a chance to attack. The only thing left of the slaver is his right hand, which falls to the floor giving Briarbird a thumbs up with text reading "High Elf Respect". Talk about a GracefulLoser.
