[[caption-width-right:350:The Super Megaforce Rangers]]
* AdaptationalJobChange: The core Goseigers are literal guardian angels while the core Gokagers are {{space pirate}}s. The core five (Super) Megaforce are high school students
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: In ''Power Rangers'', the main five are humans compared to being angels in ''Goseiger'' and HumanAliens in ''Gokager''.
* AdaptationalHeroism / AdaptationalNiceGuy: Compared to the Gokaiger, who are space pirates and JerkWithAHeartOfGold (with Gai as the TokenGoodTeammate) and an AntiHeroTeam. the megaforce team are nicer and more altruistic. they also have a more friendly relationship with previous teams.
* CompositeCharacter: For the first time since the ''Zordon Era'', the Megaforce rangers use two sets of Powers from two different Sentai series. The first season featured ''Series/TensouSentaiGoseiger'', and the second season featured ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger''. However, this only applies to the main five Rangers; Robo Knight only appears prominently in the first season and Orion in the second.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Last season, the Samurai Rangers were young adults raised to be Power Rangers due to familial responsibilities. The Megaforce Rangers were high school students recruited by a mystical being. The Samurai Rangers each had their own personal element powers, the Megaforce Rangers shared elements with each other. The Samurai Rangers had one Sixth Ranger, the Megaforce Rangers had two.
* {{Expy}}: Heavily implied that each ranger is this to their respective counterpart of the original team of ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'' being the 20th season. As a whole, this team is a bunch of high schoolers chosen as well by a bodyless figure assisted by a robotic being with a "teenagers with attitude" motivation. Even increased by the scenario of the pilot which is very reminiscent of the original season's pilot.
** Troy like Jason is a disciplined, calm, mission-oriented and noble Red ranger very skilled in martial arts wielding a sword as weapons.
** Emma to Kimberly. Both are kind ValleyGirl types, they're Pink rangers with an avian/firebird-themed zord (Phoenix for Emma, Pterodactyl then Firebird for Kimberly) wielding a long-ranged weapon (Phoenix's shot for Emma and Power Bow for Kimberly). And the fact Emma joked about refusing to be a ranger because it damages her hair is a nod to Kimberly.
** Jake to Zack. They have TheLancer tendencies combined with the tough guy persona as Black rangers. They're athletic and skilled in a hobby/sport (Soccer for Jake, Hip-pop for Zack) wielding an axe as weapon.
** Gia to Trini. Both are JackOfAllTrades with TheAce statuses (good at school, smart, shown fighting skills before becoming a ranger) as Yellow rangers. They had a tiger-themed zord (Trini having a prehistoric one) with close-ranged and bladed weapons (claw for Gia, daggers for Trini).
** Noah to Billy. Both are Blue rangers and TheSmartGuy that wears glasses of their respective group. They're science-oriented and crafty nerds with self-esteem issues who didn't know how to fight the mooks in the pilot but grow stronger and more confident as the story advances.
* {{Irony}}: the Gokaiger team are composed of HumanAlien with only one human (Gai Ikari). In Super Megaforce, the five ranger are human and the SixthRanger is an alien
* LimitedWardrobe: The clothes they're wearing in their respective portraits below are the ones they are wearing for much of the show.
* SuperMode: In both seasons, the core five Megaforce Rangers gain power-ups.
** In the middle of Season 1, they gain Ultra Mode which grants them armor and the Ultra Sword.
** In the beginning of Season 2, they gain Super Mega Mode which grants them an entirely new form, the Super Mega Saber and Blaster, and allows them access to Legendary Ranger Mode.
* TransformationTrinket:
** The core five Rangers use the Gosei Morphers to morph with Power Cards. They can also use the Morphers as communicators and initiate abilities with other Power Cards.
** Orion uses the Legendary Silver Morpher to become the Silver Super Megaforce Ranger. It is a cell phone based morpher that scans his Legendary Ranger Keys.

Troy came in as a new student but started having prophetic dreams of a massive war between Power Rangers and a legion of foot soldiers. His ability to stand up against adversity made him worthy of the Red Megaforce powers, with the spirit of the dragon. After the Armada attack, he received the Super Megaforce Red powers.
----
* CatchPhrase: "Let's take it to the next level!"
* TheChosenOne: Well, that was the plan anyway. He was going to be linked to the Morphin Grid, and his infamous [[Anime/DragonBallZ Super Saiyan Punch]] was going to be part of his powers; similarly, Robo Knight would be linked to him as well
* CompositeCharacter: He's stoic like Jason, a new kid and a loner like Green Ranger Tommy and shares their passion for martial arts.
* CoolSword: Troy's main weapon in base form is the Dragon Sword.
* {{Determinator}}: When you're [[Series/TensouSentaiGoseiger Alata's]] counterpart, this is inevitable. ''Damn'' if he's ever gonna back down, even in the face of almost certain death.
* DreamingOfThingsToCome: Frequently dreams about the "Legend War" from ''Gokaiger.''
* DullSurprise: Most evident in "Robo Knight" where his expression doesn't change at all when Robo Knight doesn't shake his hand.
* HellBentForLeather: He's rarely seen without his black leather jacket.
* HeroicSpirit: Is chosen due to his pure spirit, discipline and his willingness to face adversity with courage.
* HumansAreSpecial: He firmly believes that humanity can accomplish anything.
* HumbleHero: When a boaster claims he's the Red Ranger, his response is simply to let it be instead of being upset someone is stealing credit for his heroism.
* LandSeaSky: Uses the powers of the Sky alongside Emma.
* TheLeader: He turns out to be a pretty good one despite being the RookieRedRanger, in part due to his dedication to the job.
* MilitaryBrat: Deleted scenes reveal that his father is in the military and he was being sent to live with an uncle because his dad was being stationed elsewhere.
* MrFanservice: See this boy shirtless and try not to drool, ladies.
* NervesOfSteel: In "Who's Crying Now?", when he's confronted by two bullies. He doesn't show any sign of fear nor does he show signs of getting into any physical altercations with them. The alien officer doesn't shake him up either.
* NewTransferStudent: Has only just recently moved to Harwood County.
* NiceGuy: While he doesn't speak much, he does seem genuinely optimistic and kind. Even when dealing with Jordan, he never got mad with him, instead seeming more amused with the whole thing.
* TheQuietOne: Doesn't talk as much when compared to his teammates, and as of the first four episodes, hasn't really spoken to Jake or Noah outside of a battle against the Warstar.
* RookieRedRanger: When Gosei picked him to be the Red Ranger, Troy was unsure of this since he is new in town and he was picked right off the bat. Despite this, he embraced the role of the Red Ranger and leader and is the one to make the call to transform. He's also the most dedicated to the job, realizing just how important their protecting Earth is.
* StandardizedLeader: Disciplined, strong, and the list just goes on.
* TheStoic: Even more so than Gia. It takes [[spoiler:the death of Creepox]] for him to loosen up a little.
* SwordAndGun: Primarily his (and everyone else's) style of combat in Super Megaforce.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Contrasting with his usual self, he acts this way towards his friends in "Spirit of the Tiger" after losing to the monster of the day. Though later he lightens up again.

[[folder:Emma Goodall / Megaforce Pink]]
!! Emma Goodall / [[pink:(Super) Megaforce Pink]]
[[quoteright:227:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/emma_pink_mega_ranger.png]]

-> '''Portrayed by''': Christina Masterson
-> '''Voiced by''': Ashley Ann (games), Valentina Souza (Latin American Spanish)

Emma is a nature lover and best friend to Gia. Her love of nature made her worthy of the Pink Megaforce powers, with the spirit of the phoenix. After the Armada attack, she received the Super Megaforce Pink powers.
----
* AdaptationalSkimpiness: ZigZagged due to being a CompositeCharacter. Occasional {{panty shot}}s of her ''Gokaiger'' counterpart aside, Emma's regular outfit still shows more skin than Ahim's. Her ''Goseiger'' counterpart Eri, on the other hand, wears essentially the same type of clothes as Emma.
* BadassBiker: It's a BMX bicycle instead of a motorcycle, but being damn good at riding it is part of the reason why she is chosen.
** [[http://www.timeforkids.com/news/marvelous-megaforce/76481 In an interview]], Christina said that the show's production helped her overcome her fear of bikes that started from a childhood accident.
* CameraFiend: In the first episode, she uses her camera to blind the Mooks during combat.
* TheCutie: She cares for the environment, she's great with a BMX bike, and she's got that look of a cutie, so why not?
* {{Expy}}: Basically Kimberly with a chunk of Trini.
* GenkiGirl: One of her more subtle character traits.
* GirlyBruiser: Gosei chose her for two reasons; 1.) kind-hearted NatureHero and 2.) BMX biker.
* GranolaGirl: Definitely a less subtle part of her characterization. A result of combining Kimberly's ValleyGirl and Trini's SoapboxSadie
* GunsAkimbo: As Super Megaforce Pink Ranger.
* GunKata: Her usual fighting style as Super Mega Pink.
* HandCannon: Emma's main weapon in base form is the Phoenix Shot.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Gia.
* LandSeaSky: Uses the powers of the Sky alongside Troy.
* MissingMom: Her mother apparently died before the events of the series, it's not outright stated, cause you know, it's ''Power Rangers''.
* MsFanservice: One of the sexiest pink rangers around here.
* ThePhoenix: Emma's Power Animal.
* ThePowerOfFriendship: Gosei states this verbatim which is what helps her break free from Beezara's spell and to give her the Card for the Sky Brother Zords.
* PunnyName: Of course, A girl with the name '''GOODALL''' obviously a NiceGirl and GoodAllAlong to everyone even to nature.
* ShipperOnDeck: For Gia and Jake
* ShipTease: As TheHeart of the team, she has shades of this with any ranger inside the group sharing at least one co-centric episode with each of them (sometimes as the second most focused character in the episode):
** with Troy: possibly due to the franchise to ship teasing romance between the red and pink rangers, in their centric episode "Harmony and dizchord" there are moments when they're glaring at each other intensely especially Troy when Emma singing. The significant presence of flowers increases this trope.
** with Gia: they have a generally PseudoRomanticFriendship especially in "United we stand" their centric episode. Though it's probably counts more as a case of LesYay.
** with Noah: in "Blue Saber Saga" Emma was significantly worried for him after his defeat with Skatana and stays at his sides when he practised training no matter what he said.
** with Jake: though he's in love with Gia, they had this as well in their centric episode "Spirit of the tiger". They spend the whole episode together to improve their martial arts skills even having a kind of (non-romantic) BattleCouple scene against the MonsterOfTheWeek.
** with Orion: in "United as one" they team up against the MonsterOfTheWeek and they had a fake wedding scene with BridalCarry and AlmostKiss.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Emma's Girly Girl to Gia.

!! Jake Holling / Megaforce Black [[green:(Super Megaforce Green)]]
[[quoteright:227:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jake_black_mega_ranger.png]]

-> '''Portrayed by''': Azim Rizk
-> '''Voiced by''': Creator/BrycePapenbrook (games), Creator/MiguelAngelRuiz (Latin American Spanish)

Jake was an athlete at high school with a not-so-secret crush on Gia. His athleticism made him worthy of the Black Megaforce powers, with the spirit of the snake. After the Armada attack, he received the Super Megaforce Green powers, the only Ranger to change colors when going into Super Megaforce mode.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: His character alone is already moreso than his ''Gokaiger'' counterpart Doc but there are numerous occasions where new fight footage has been filmed specifically for him to omit Doc's usual goofy antics.
* TheBigGuy: He's the athlete of the team and is very likely the strongest ranger in terms of physical strength.
* DependingOnTheWriter: Due to the polar opposite personalities of his Sentai counterparts, he'll often switch between a tough guy and a clumsy guy.
* DoggedNiceGuy: Sometimes he always finds a chance to get closer to Gia.
* {{Expy}}: Zack as a middle-east guy.
* GunsAkimbo: As Super Megaforce Green Ranger who is also usually a [[TheGunslinger gunslinger]] of the Trick Shot variety
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Noah.
* IKnowMaddenKombat: Can fight mooks with a soccer ball, the way it's intended to be used.
* TheLancer: By way of being the goofy comedian in contrast to Troy's stoic attitude.
* LandSeaSky: Uses the element of Land alongside Gia.
* LovableJock: Is chosen due to his athleticism and even uses his soccer skills against a group of mooks. Also fits here by way of being best buddies with nerdy Noah.
* NumberTwo: Shared with Gia. Often leads the team in Troy's absence.
* OutOfFocus: For the first half of the season.
* PluckyComicRelief: Don't dismiss him as a class clown, due to his special talent for bringing people together with a laugh.
* SnakesAreSinister: Jake's Power Animal, albeit a heroic example.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: Jake and Gia's ''Goseiger'' counterparts are a BrotherSisterTeam. The IncestYay side of the fandom had a field day with this.
* UnrequitedLove: Has a crush on Gia. She probably knows it, and pretends to be doesn't care about it. From the look of things, however, it seems she's starting to return his affections.

-> '''Portrayed by''' Ciara Hanna
-> '''Voiced by''': Creator/MarieveHerington (games), Creator/RominaMarroquinPayro (Latin American Spanish)

Gia was a perfectionist at school in both smarts and athleticism and was best friends with Emma. Her calmness over pressure made her worthy of the Yellow Megaforce powers, with the spirit of the tiger. After the Armada attack, she received the Super Megaforce Yellow powers.
----
* TheAce: Is chosen due to her numerous skills, such as her calmness during pressuring situations, her pursuit of intelligence, etc. Fitting, since the original Yellow Ranger Trini was an Ace as well (skilled fighter, yet smart enough to translate for Billy.)
* AdaptationalModesty: Gia is pretty covered while her ''Goseiger'' counterpart Moune is wearing the same type of clothes as Emma (and is the more obvious MsFanservice of the two females there). It even applies compared to her ''Gokaiger'' counterpart Luka, who is wearing ProperTightsWithASkirt instead of jeans like Gia.
* BreakoutCharacter: Gia is often considered the highlight of her otherwise infamous season due to her charisma and screen presence, making her the only Megaforce Ranger to appear outside this season. Coincidentally, her ''Gokaiger'' counterpart Luka Milfy is also this (but is ''far'' more popular). This was probably a contributing factor in her returning as one of the veterans in ''Super Ninja Steel''’s ''Dimensions in Danger'' special.
* CatchPhrase: [[OnceAnEpisode Each episode]] Gia makes sure to include some variation of "kicking (enemy's) butt" whenever she talks.
* DeadpanSnarker: A trait from Kim. She dabbles in smart remarks, mainly in response to Jake or monsters.
* DualWielding: As Super Megaforce Yellow Ranger.
* {{Expy}}: Pretty much the white Trini, with a dash of Kimberly.
* GeniusBruiser: She fills the role of TheBigGuy, but Gosei's introduction shows a clip of her solving a complex math problem and even finishes her science quiz before Noah.
* HellBentForLeather: She's rarely seen without her black leather jacket.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Emma.
* JackOfAllTrades: She's pretty balanced as a ranger but she doesn't surpass Troy, Emma, Noah and Jake in terms of hand-to-hand combat, agility, cleverness/strategy and physical fitness/strength respectively.
* TheLancer: She seems to lead the team when Troy's not present, and they do what she says.
* LandSeaSky: Uses the powers of the Land along with Jake.
* NumberTwo: Shared with Jake. Often leads the team in Troy's absence.
* OutOfFocus: For the second half of the season. Ironically, out of all the Megaforce Characters, she gets the most attention post series. She reappears in the Street Fighter Showdown short film, the [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaSteel Dimensions in Danger Anniversary Special]], and was one of the first characters revealed for the ''[[VideoGame/PowerRangersBattleForTheGrid Battle for the Grid]]'' fighting game.
* PantheraAwesome: Gia's Power Animal
* TheStoic: Not on par with Troy, but she qualifies.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: Aloof snarker variation.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Gia's Tomboy to Emma.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: Gia and Jake's ''Goseiger'' counterparts are a BrotherSisterTeam.
* WolverineClaws: Gia's main weapon in her base form is the Tiger Claw.
* YourSizeMayVary: She's taller than Emma and almost the same size as the guys. But thanks to using Stock Footage from Goseiger, it makes her appear shorter when transformed.
[[/folder]]

-> '''Portrayed by''': John Mark Loudermilk
-> '''Voiced by''': Mark Allen Jr. (games) Abraham Vega (Latin American Spanish)

Noah was the smart one of his classmates and created a network for his school. His thirst for knowledge made him worthy of the Blue Megaforce powers, with the spirit of the shark. After the Armada attack, he received the Super Megaforce Blue powers.
----
* AutomaticCrossbow: Noah's main weapon in base form is the Shark Bowgun.
* BlackAndNerdy: He's black and the nerd of the Megaforce.
* BlueMeansSmartOne: Noah is the geeky and smart Blue Ranger of his team.
* ConfusionFu: When he first fights Loogies, he manages to knock many of them out unintentionally, while trying to ''evade'' them. Some of the hits were even delivered by his bag as it swung around.
* DependingOnTheWriter: Due to the polar opposite personalities of his Sentai counterparts he'll often switch between a smart guy and a tough guy.
* DisabledInTheAdaptation: Neither one of his sentai counterparts are visually impaired.
* DualWielding: As Super Megaforce Blue Ranger. It seems a bit weird considering he was a long-range fighter in Megaforce. It looks awesome, anyway.
* {{Expy}}: Of Billy
* GadgeteerGenius: [[spoiler:Is apparently going to be the one that builds the Rangers' cannon weapon in Super Megaforce.]]
* GeniusBruiser: Just look at that swordplay.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Jake.
* LandSeaSky: Is the sole user of the Sea.
* LightningBruiser: Becomes this in Super Megaforce, when he built his body, technique and mind to become a fierce swordsman. That training really paid off.
* LovableNerd: Is chosen due to his dedication to science and unrivalled intelligence, though this has caused trouble as he is fascinated at first by the sight of the mooks while the civilians are running for their lives and observe a downed mook in his first unmorphed fight while the other rangers are fighting them off.
* TheSmartGuy: Comes with the territory of being a high school nerd.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: Noah certainly does.
* TrainingFromHell: Inflicts this on himself after feeling he was pushing the team back.
* ThisIsThePartWhere: "This is the part where you say ''goodbye!''"
* ThreateningShark: Noah's Power Animal.
* TookALevelInBadass: Unlike his ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger'' counterpart, Joe, Noah's sword training is because he feels like he's TheLoad of the team and trains himself to be much stronger. This pays off when he is able to wield five swords at once and take out a MonsterOfTheWeek in a one-on-one fight when he was originally barely able to fight the {{Mooks}}.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Robo Knight]]
!! Robo Knight
-> '''Voiced by''': Chris Auer (series), Creator/RichardEpcar (first game), Víctor Covarrubias (Latin American Spanish)
[[quoteright:178:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tsgknight.png]]

Years ago, Gosei created Robo Knight as the original protector of Earth but laid dormant for many years. When the Toxic Mutants began their attack, he was finally awakened, but being deactivated for a long time took a great toll on his advanced AI, and as such, he was more focused on protecting the Earth than the humans that lived on it. This forced the Rangers to try and remind him of his original mission.
----
* AloofAlly: Doesn't quite realize that his mission is the same as the Rangers; as such, he refuses their offer to join forces. This is because his years of dormancy have had their toll on his memory, thus he doesn't even remember Gosei created him.
* DisneyDeath: Subverted. He is supposedly gave his life force to revive Orion and was presumed dead only to be seen briefly fighting alongside the Historic Rangers in the Legendary battle. Troy even acknowledges his presence but after the battle, he is nowhere to be seen, not even with the rest of the Historic rangers. Whether Robo Knight survived or that was his ''spirit'' fighting alongside them in the Legendary Battle remains unclear.
* EvilMakeover: When reprogrammed by Vrak in ''Vrak Is Back'', the eyes on his chest and his visor both turn black.
* {{Expy}}: Basically a cross between Franchise/RoboCop and [[Series/PowerRangersTurbo the Blue Senturion]] (only played straight). His lack of concern for civilians in "Prince Takes Knight" also brings to mind the [[Series/PowerRangersLostGalaxy Magna Defender]], but Robo Knight's apathy is more just following strict programming rather than being too caught up in revenge.
* FriendToAllChildren: Robo Knight shows his softer side around children.
* GaiasVengeance: His primary directive is to eliminate threats to the environment.
* GatlingGood: His Vulcan Cannon weapon attachment.
* HeroicSacrifice: Gives his own life to save Orion by transferring his own energy to restore his life force after Vrak drained it.
* IWorkAlone: He's pretty adamant about this.
* IntriguedByHumanity: He's hinted to be steadily growing into this, as the Rangers teach him the good things of humanity.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Robo Knight is initially hostile to the rangers and willing to endanger the lives of humans to achieve his goals but as time goes on he learns to respect the rangers and have more compassion for humans. Even before his CharacterDevelopment he showed a nice side with children.
* KingOfBeasts: Has an obvious lion motif.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: Used in his Zord forms, both Lion Mechazord and Gosei Ground Megazord.
* NoisyRobots: In the same way that Franchise/RoboCop walks.
* PetTheDog: Robo Knight was shown to be uncaring towards humans and his views on the rangers were neutral at best. However, in "Man and Machine" he stops to ask a child, whose parents had been frozen by a monster, what happened to them, and promises to "get the bad guy".
* RoboSpeak: Another Franchise/RoboCop reference.
* SealedGoodInACan: Was sealed away by Gosei, who believes his reawakening was brought upon by the Earth itself.
* SixthRanger: Joins the Rangers just after they start fighting the Toxic Mutants.
* StrawVulcan: Claims that it is illogical to take calculated risks in order to gain an advantage in battle, or even to plan in advance at all. One wonders if he even knows what "illogical" means.
* SwissArmyWeapon: His Robo Blaster has both a long-range mode and a sword mode.
* TransformingMecha: Borrows a page from ''Series/PowerRangersMysticForce'' and transforms into his own Zord.
* UnexplainedRecovery: After his HeroicSacrifice several episodes before, he returns in the Legendary Battle without so much as a HandWave to explain how.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: [[spoiler:An In-Universe example after "End Game". Nobody knows where he is, and part of Troy's new motivations is to find and rescue Robo Knight.]]
** By ''Silver Linings, Part 1'' the Rangers seemed to have forgotten he existed. Baffled that someone else is fighting the X Borgs and not thinking this could be his work.
** [[spoiler: Eventually subverted in the ''Vrak Is Back'' two-parter, where it's revealed that Robo Knight had been kept prisoner by Vrak between the last time the two of them appeared and now.]]
* [[WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove What Is This Thing You Call Dreaming?]]: His role in "Dream Snatcher" is all about this, especially when he sees Emma managing to fight off the MonsterOfTheWeek's influence with the sheer amount of dreams she has.

!! Orion / [[white:Super Megaforce Silver]]
[[quoteright:227:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/orion_silver_mega_ranger.png]]

Before the Armada attacked Earth, they invaded Andresia and eradicated most of the civilization. However, Orion, a lone survivor, discovered the Legendary Silver Morpher along with the Super Megaforce Silver key and trained in order to harness the power. Eventually, he stole an Armada ship and flew to Earth to defeat the Armada, joining the Megaforce Rangers as their second SixthRanger.
----
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: He's an alien, compared to his ''Gokaiger'' counterpart, who was a human. Kind of ironic considering the ''Gokaigers'' ''were'' HumanAliens while the ''Megaforce'' Rangers are humans.
* AndThisIsFor: Occasionally invokes his planet's destruction like this. Most notably when he [[spoiler:impales Emperor Marvo to the console of his own flagship, setting up the emperor for one last strike]].
* AmbiguouslyGay: Is terrified and almost disgusted at the thought of kissing Emma at their fake wedding to draw in a monster. However, gets some ShipTease with her anyway.
* BigNo: After seeing the Armada wipe out his planet.
* BreakTheCutie: Lost his family, friends, and ''his entire planet'' from the Armada invasion.
* CompositeCharacter: He shares his ranger designation with Gai Ikari but his backstory is closer to Ahim and Don's with their planets having been destroyed by the Zangyack similar to his by the Armada. In fact, him being an alien is closer to the core Gokaigers whereas Gai was the only one from Earth on the team.
* DeathByOriginStory: His ''entire planet'' was decimated by the Armada, giving him motivation to hate them.
* HumanAliens: He looks human, but he's from another planet.
* ImportantHaircut: Gia and Emma took him to the hair salon to have a makeover once he officially joins the team.
* LastOfHisKind: The Armada attacked his home planet and seemingly killed everyone but him. He claims to be the only survivor.
* LegacyCharacter: As a Silver Ranger who's an alien and joins the team as the sixth ranger, he's one to [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace Zhane]] and [[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive Tyzonn]], having more in common with the latter than the former. His power, however, arguably makes him one to every SixthRanger in ''Power Rangers'' history.
* OneManArmy: Takes out an entire platoon of X-Borgs by himself and spent his entire debut episode basically doing the Ranger's job for them.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: His fighting the Armada is one. When fighting the X-Borgs, he sounded absolutely pissed at the entire Armada for taking his homeworld.
* SixthRanger: To the group in Super Megaforce, joining them just as the fight against the Armada gets more serious.
* ShipTease: With Emma, between their fake wedding and her personal goodbye to him in the final episode.
* SuperMode: By combining the powers of all 15 Legendary Sixth Ranger keys, Orion can access Super Megaforce Gold mode, a sort of Battlizer for him.
* SwissArmyWeapon: He wields the Super Silver Spear. Normally it can act as either a blaster or a trident. When in Super Megaforce Gold mode, it turns into a traditional spear.

[[folder:In General]]
* AdaptedOut: Out of all the Headders that were adapted from ''Goseiger'', the only ones that did not make it to Megaforce were the Mystic Brothers, Datas Hyper (as Tensou was made as an original character with slight traces of Datas), and the Exotic Brothers (as they appeared in one episode and it was never adapted into an episode).
* AnimalMecha: All the Zords in the first season are based on animals.
* LandSeaSky: The Zords are based on the three Earthly elements of Land, Sea, and Sky.
* PutOnABus: Once the Rangers get the Legendary Megazord in the second season, the first season Zords are shelved and never used until near the end of Super Megaforce.
* SwissArmyWeapon: The Zords can be used for proper Megazord battles, and attach to the Rangers' Mega Blasters to give their pistols an extra boost.

* TheBusCameBack: After being shelved for most of Super Megaforce, the Gosei Great Megazord returned in ''Vrak is Back part 1''.

* CoolSword: The Megazord wields a Sword formed from the Gosei Dragon Mechazord's tail.

** '''Gosei Great Megazord''': ''Mega Strike'': The Megazord summons gigantic copies of the Mechazord Cards to trap the monster as it goes through the Gosei Dragon Mechazord Card. Then, with its sword on fire, the Megazord performs a diagonal slash to destroy the monster.

Three sets of Auxiliary Zords the Rangers gained during their fight against the Warstar Army. These include the Sea Brother Zords, the Land Brother Zords, and the Sky Brother Zords.
----
!!In General:
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: The Auxiliary Zords appeared in Episodes 3 (Sea Brother Zords), 4 (Land Brother Zords), 5 (Sky Brother Zords), and 7 (Ultra Change Zord) in ''Power Rangers''. In contrast, the Auxiliary Headers appeared in Episodes 5 (Seaick Brothers), 6 (Landik Brothers), 9 (Skick Brothers) and 11 (Hyper Header).
* MechaExpansionPack: All these Zords can combine with the Gosei Great Megazord to create new combinations.
** The Sea Brother Zords can form the Sea Megazord with the Gosei Great Megazord.
** The Land Brother Zords can form the Land Megazord with the Gosei Great Megazord.

** All the Auxiliary Zords, along with a lone Ultra Change Zord, can form the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord with the Gosei Great Megazord.
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: Because the first Season of ''Megaforce'' crammed fifty episodes worth of ''Goseiger'' material into a twenty episode limit, the Auxiliary Zords were given to the Rangers for arbitrary reasons. Noah gets the courage to stand up against Virox? He gets the Sea Brother Zords. The Rangers need a little bit of speed to catch up to Dragonflay? Gia and Jake get the Land Brother Zords. Emma manages to overcome a spell that threatens her and Gia's friendship? She unlocks the Sky Brother Zords for her and Troy to use.
* PowerTrio: All the Brother Zords are in a set of three.

!!!Ultra Change Zord
A mysterious Auxiliary Zord that appears in the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord configuration.
----
* TheArtifact: In ''Goseiger'', the Hyper Header was used by Datas to form Datas Hyper. Because Tensou has none of the fighting abilities Datas had, the Ultra Change Zord was relegated to being used for the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord configuration.
* DemotedToExtra: The Hyper Header appeared more times in ''Goseiger'' compared to the two times the Ultra Change Zord appeared in ''Megaforce''.

* MacrossMissileMassacre: The Lion Mechazord and the Gosei Grand Megazord is capable of firing missiles.

** The Super Mega Sub Zord is a submarine based Zord.
* CoolCar: The Super Mega Racer Zord is a Racecar themed Zord.
* CoolPlane: The Super Mega Jet Zord is a Jet based Zord.
* DeathByAdaptation: [[spoiler:While Gokaioh survived till the end of ''Gokaiger'', the Legendary Megazord was destroyed after being caught in a second wave of Armada Ships.]]
* DemotedToExtra: In ''Gokaiger'', the Gokai Galleon served as the team's home base and main mode of transportation across Japan. In ''Power Rangers'', the Super Mega Skyship was only used a couple of times for transporting the Rangers, but not to the extent the Gokaigers used it. Hell, they did not use it as a home base as the Command Center was still standing.
* DualWielding:
** The Legendary Megazord's main weapons are the Legendary Sabers, a pair cutlasses. In the Legendary Samurai Megazord formation, the Sabers become a double ended staff.
** In Legendary S.P.D. Megazord Mode, the Megazord can use the arm parts of the Delta Runner Zord as twin blasters.
* FinishingMove:
** '''Legendary Megazord''':
*** ''Super Mega Starburst'': With the Super Mega Cannon, the Megazord fires cannonballs at its target nonstop until they explode. A powerful variant of the attack is called the Ultimate Super Mega Cannon, which fires a single blast of concentrated energy.

*** ''Super Mega Slash'': After the Rangers use the Turbo Ranger Keys, the Megazord performs a spinout attack reminiscent to the Turbo Megazord's finishing move.
*** By using the Megaforce Ranger Keys, the Rangers summon their original Zords and the Auxiliary Zords to perform an attack similar to what the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord used.
*** ''Firestorm Strike'': After the Rangers use the Battalion Ranger Keys, the Megazord turns into a spinning phoenix-shaped fireball and attacks the monster.
*** ''Lightning Aura Strike'': After the Rangers use the Lightning Ranger Keys, the Megazord coats its right hand with electricity and performs a karate chop.
** '''Legendary S.P.D. Megazord''': ''S.P.D. Final Strike'': The Megazord fires all of the Delta Runner's wheel guns in rapid succession at the monster until it explodes.

** '''Legendary Samurai Megazord''': ''Samurai Strike'': The Legendary Megazord summons a Megazord-scale Fire Smasher engulfed in flames which then cleaves through the opponent.

A series of Auxiliary Zords the Rangers acquired during their fight against the Armada. It consists of the Delta Runner Zord, the Mystic Dragon, the Red Lion Wildzord, the Ninja Zord, and the Turbo Falcon Zord.
----
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: The [=DekaMachine=] Pat Striker was the second auxiliary Zord the ''Gokaigers'' gained in the Sentai. Here, the Delta Runner Zord was Rangers' first.
* AdaptationalLateAppearance: Magi Dragon was the first auxiliary Zord the ''Gokaigers'' gained in the Sentai. Here, the Mystic Dragon was the Rangers' second.
* AdaptationalNonsapience: In ''Gokaiger'', Fūraimaru and Engine Machfalcon could speak. Here, the Ninja Zord and the Turbo Falcon Zord do not.
* AnimalMecha:
** OurDragonsAreDifferent: The Mystic Dragon
** KingOfBeasts: The Red Lion Wildzord.
* AnimalVehicleHybrid: The Turbo Falcon Zord is a mixture of a [[NobleBirdOfPrey falcon]] and a Formula 1 racecar.
* CoolCar: Like before, the Delta Runner Zord is a sleek police cruiser themed Zord.
* {{Flight}}: The Mystic Dragon fan fly with its wings, while the Ninja Zord can fly using its large shuriken.
* FuumaShuriken: The Legendary Ninja Megazord wields a big shuriken as its main weapon.
* GatlingGood: The Delta Runner Zord features Gatling guns on its wheels.
* MechaExpansionPack: All theses Zords can combine with the Legendary Megazord to form different combinations.
** The Delta Runner Zord forms the Legendary S.P.D. Megazord with the Legendary Megazord.
** The Mystic Dragon forms the Legendary Mystic Megazord with the Legendary Megazord.
** The Red Lion Wildzord forms the Legendary Wild Force Megazord with the Legendary Megazord. With the power of the Samurai Rangers, the formation becomes the Legendary Samurai Megazord.
** The Ninja Zord forms the Legendary Ninja Megazord with the Legendary Megazord.
** The Turbo Falcon Zord forms the Legendary [=RPM=] Megazord with the Legendary Megazord.
* MythologyGag: Given that this is an anniversary season, some of the combinations resemble old Megazord combinations.
** The Legendary S.P.D. Megazord resembles the Delta Squad Megazord.
** The Legendary Wild Force Megazord resembles the Pegasus Megazord.
** The Legendary Samurai Megazord resembles a mix of the Samurai Megazord and the Wild Force Megazord.
** The Legendary Ninja Megazord resembles a mix of the Storm Megazord and the Hurricane Megazord.
* OurCentaursAreDifferent: The Legendary Wild Force Megazord resembles a Centaur as the entirety of the Red Lion Wildzord replaces the legs of the Legendary Megazord.
* TokenMinority:
** The Red Lion Wildzord is the only Saban Era Auxiliary Zord in the group as the rest have connection to the Disney Era.
** The Turbo Falcon Zord is the only original Auxiliary Zord in the group as the rest came from their original seasons.

[[folder:Q-Rex Drill]]
!!Q-Rex Drill/Q.Rex Megazord
The Super Silver Ranger's Zord.
----
* BreathWeapon: The Q-Rex Dino Zord can fire a Q-Rex Laser from its mouth.
* FinishingMove:
** '''Q-Rex Megazord''': ''Triple Drill Attack'': After Orion places the Green Mighty Morphin Ranger, the Quantum Ranger, and the White Dino Thunder Ranger Legendary Ranger Keys into their respective slots, the Megazord summons duplicates of its previous two forms and combines their drills into one massive drill attack to destroy the monster.
** '''Legendary Q-Rex Megazord''': ''Q-Rex Transwarp Attack'': The Megazord slashes the opponent with the drill arm and then bites them with the Rex head arm to finish them off.
* MechaExpansionPack: The Q-Rex Megazord can detach its arms and give them to the Legendary Megazord to create the Legendary Q-Rex Megazord.
* MythologyGag: Given that this Zord is based from the Legendary Ranger Keys of the Green Mighty Morphin Ranger, the Quantum Ranger, and the White Dino Thunder Ranger, there are some homages to their original Zords.
** Not only does the Q-Rex Drill come from the 31st Century like the Time Force Rangers' Zords, but it is based on the Raimei Destroyer tank (a giant drill tank that Bio Labs created before the Silver Guardians were put into action).
** The Q-Rex Dino Zord resembles the original Tyrannosaurus Dinozord from ''Mighty Morphin'' (given that it is based on a bipedal version of the dinosaur) and the Dragonzord (given the drill tail).
** The Q-Rex Megazord resembles a mixture of the original Megazord from ''Mighty Morphin'' (both of the head designs are similiar), and the Thudersaurus Megazord (due to the Drill Arm).
* PowerFist: The Q-Rex Megazord can close the dino head on its left arm to perform stronger punches.
* SwissArmyWeapon: As the Q-Rex Megazord, the Drill Arm can change into a [[BladeBelowTheShoulder trident]] or a [[LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe shield]].
* ThisIsADrill: As the name implies, the Q-Rex Drill Zord's main weapon is a giant drill. It is usable in all of its formations.
* TransformingMecha: The Q-Rex Drill Zord can transform into the Q-Rex Dino Zord, and then into the Q-Rex Megazord.
* TRexpy: The Q-Rex Dino Zord is based on the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

* FinishingMove:
** ''Flying Fist'': The Megazord fires its left hand at the target to blast through whatever it hits.
** ''Ultimate Legendary Zord Blitz Attack'': After the Rangers summon the Mystic Dragon, the Delta Runner Zord, the Red Lion Wild Zord, and the Ninja Zord, all the Zords fire their respecive attacks against the monster before the Ultimate Legendary Megazord finishes it off.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: The Megazord can use its left hand to fire missiles from its finger tips.
* ThisIsADrill: The Megazord uses the Q-Rex Megazord's Drill arm.

[[folder:Gosei]]
!! Gosei
-> '''Voiced by''': Geoffrey Dolan (series), Creator/JamiesonPrice (games), Jorge Santos (Latin American Spanish)

The mentor to the Megaforce Rangers and a protegee to Zordon.
----
* AscendedExtra: Master Head was only in a few episodes of Goseiger (and was NotQuiteDead for a spell). Gosei is in every episode of Megaforce and Super Megaforce, even if it’s just for a MandatoryLine.
* BigDamnHeroes: Pilots the Gosei Ultimate Megazord's jet mode personally to save the Rangers from the Aurora Box.
* BigGood: Gave the Rangers their powers and serves as a mentor figure to the Rangers, just like his teacher.
* CrazyPrepared: Unlike his teacher, who sent the Rangers to go get their new powers and Zords when the last ones failed, Gosei had the audacity to ''have'' new powers and Zords set up for just an emergency. Due to how the non-Power Rangers Sentai teams are being handled, he also didn't ''just'' settle for Earth Teams and got powers from ''Alien'' ranger teams.
* EgocentricTeamNaming: Not with the ''team'' name, but most of the Rangers' equipment is named after him. We're probably lucky the team isn't "Gosei Force".
* {{Expy}}: Of Zordon.
* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: Outright admits that the giant face isn't his true form, just one the rangers would be more comfortable with.
* LegacyCharacter: A direct successor to (and pupil of) [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Zordon]], right down to the appearing as a giant face with a robot companion to be his hands.
* OhCrap: [[spoiler:When the invasion begins]], Gosei screams at the Rangers "Rangers, morph now! MORPH! MORPH! MORPH!"
* TheMentor: He IS an {{Expy}} of Zordon, after all. He's been trained ''by'' Zordon in mentoring.
* TookALevelInBadass: After spending most of the series in the standard mentor role, he pulls a BigDamnHeroes to save the Rangers from the Aurora Box, and then ''copilots the Gosei Ultimate Megazord'' alongside them, seemingly acting as its control system. While he does so remotely, it's still pretty freaking cool.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: We never learn what happened to him or Tensou after the Armada's defeat.

Gosei's robotic assistant.
----
* DemotedToExtra: His Sentai counterpart had the ability to become a HumongousMecha by the name of Datas Hyper. Tensou lacks this ability, resulting in an AdaptationInducedPlotHole whenever the rangers use the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord[[note]]in ''Goseiger'', Datas Hyper formed the backpack that all the headers attached to; since Datas Hyper lacks an American counterpart, whenever the rangers use the aforementioned Ultra Gosei Great Megazord, a backpack magically appears out of thin air on the Megazord[[/note]].

The youngest son of Emperor Mavro and younger brother to Prince Vekar. While he came to Earth with the Warstar Army, he allied with the Toxic Mutants and created his own Robot Army.
----
* AdaptationDistillation: His VoluntaryShapeshifting is the way the writers found to deal with Buredoran's constant change of forms and allegiances throughout the source material in a shorter time span.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: While by no means good and just as traitorous, sadistic, and manipulative as his Sentai counterpart, he does have some sense of loyalty to his royal family (Uncaring of his brother's death aside) as he is a WellDoneSonGuy and doesn't actively betray his allies, rather tricking them to their deaths. However, see AdaptationalVillainy.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: While Brajira is a fallen (Gosei) angel who first appears in an Alien guise, Vrak is an actual alien, and part of the Power Rangers version of the Gill Family no less.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Vrak and Brajira are both monstrously evil for sure, but Vrak is an incredibly [[TheSociopath deranged and delusional sociopath]], as opposed to an unstable KnightTemplar, was never part of the good side, and his motive for destroying Earth with the drills is not out of any desire to weed out corruption or to recreate it in his own image, but [[ForTheEvulz simply because he can.]] It is up for debate, though, which version is more evil as a result, as both of them have surpassed most of the other villains from their respective shows in terms of depravity.
* AdaptedOut: Vrak doesn't have a Nighlok form.
* ArcVillain: He returns as the villain for the two-part episode "Vrak is Back" in ''Super Megaforce''.
* ArchEnemy: The best candidate for the Megaforce Rangers. Of all the villains, he was the most dangerous and competent, and his appearances inspired more dread than any other.
* AscendedExtra: In ''Super Megaforce'' - outside of the crossover ''Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle'', his ''Goseiger'' counterpart had no involvement with ''Gokaiger''. Here, he fills the role of the villain between Vekar's death and Mavro arriving on Earth.
* BackFromTheDead: His Zombats revive defeated monsters. [[spoiler:And he is brought back to life as a cyborg after his death at the hands of the Rangers.]]
* BadBoss: He treats almost every single villain in Megaforce and Super Megaforce as his pawns, including his dimwitted elder brother and his personal henchmen.
* BestServedCold: [[spoiler:Waited almost an entire season for his chance to get revenge on the Rangers and destroy Earth.]]
* BigBad: While Malkor is the leader of the Warstar for most of ''Megaforce'', Vrak is a very active DragonInChief, and is considered a major threat in his own right. When Malkor is defeated, Vrak becomes the sole Big Bad for the last few episodes of the first season. He briefly returns to the position for the ''Vrak is Back'' two-parter after Prince Vekar is killed.
* CainAndAbel: Both of Mavro’s sons are evil of course, but Vrak is the Cain to Vekar’s able, as he is much worse than him and was actually glad that the Rangers killed him. Even Vekar never went that far despite his jealousy.
* CombatPragmatist: He kidnapped Orion and used his powers to disable the other Rangers' Super Mega Mode so as to lessen their chances of killing him for good, and tried using Robo-Knight against them without fighting them himself.
* DeadpanSnarker: Has shades of this.
--> '''Vrak''': (Creepox's simplistic plan of "send a powerful monster to crush the heroes" fails): [[SarcasmMode That worked so much better than my "complicated schemes".]]
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Despite being considered the ArchEnemy of the Megaforce Rangers, Vrak's final defeat takes place shortly before the final episodes, which deals with the arrival of [[FinalBoss Emperor Mavro]].
* TheDragon: He seems to be Malkor's right-hand alien. [[spoiler: However, this was all just an act just to destroy Malkor.]]
** DragonInChief: Because of Malkor's laziness, Vrak is the one who does most of the Warstar's work.
** DragonAscendant: [[spoiler:Comes back as a cyborg and the new BigBad after Malkor bites the dust. He also steps back in after his brother is killed, making Vrak the heir to the Armada's throne.]]
** DragonWithAnAgenda: Even before revealing he wants to usurp Malkor, he is known to have his own reasons for serving him. He really wants to conquer the Earth for his royal family and the Insectoids are just a means to that end. That said, he made no secret about his royal heritage to them.
* EarthShatteringKaboom: [[spoiler:His ultimate goal upon returning in Super Mega Force is to plant three giant drills that will dig into the core and destroy the planet. He ''nearly'' succeeds.]]
* EnigmaticMinion: He serves as a member of both the Warstar and the Armada, but he clearly has his own goals and, outside of his claimed Starscream attempt which went nowhere, he sometimes doesn’t even consult the former’s leader Admiral Malkor on his plans, an example is a case with Creepox’s final attack on Earth and the Wild Sword. Even in the Armada, he works in a somewhat independent manner. He never interacts with any other Armada member except for The Messenger (though you can blame Sentai footage for that.), barely acknowledges his father, and the only one he mentioned by name is his brother whom he spoke negatively about. His plan in Super Megaforce doesn’t even have the permission and assistance of the other villains and seems to be more for personal gain even though Vekar’s death already made Vrak the only heir.
* EntitledToHaveYou: Pre-material states he would much rather he rule Earth than destroy it. But after numerous failures and several months of hiding, he switches to the latter. He even tells the Rangers that the planet deserves to meet its end in darkness and despair, making it even more apparent. In short, he wants to blow up the Earth simply because its people dared to fight back.
* EvilerThanThou: He pulls this on both his Warstar boss and his dimwitted brother, due to his sociopathic personality, desire to overthrow the former, and LackOfEmpathy towards the latter. Even Emperor Mavro, while still a greater threat than him, doesn’t come close to surpassing his cruelty as he does care for both of his sons enough to swear vengeance against the Rangers for killing them.
* TheEvilGenius: The Warstar's strategist. It was even his idea to study humans before annihilating them. In the words of Creepox, all he does is think of 'complicated schemes'.
* EvilIsPetty: While Vrak’s final Earth-Shattering Kaboom plan was well thought out and almost successful, it is ultimately motivated purely out of spite along with a touch of IfICantHaveYou and isn’t really concerned with benefiting The Armada’s goals as much as he is his own.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He is at least this to his allies, presenting a calm demeanor while advising them on how to better deal with the Rangers. Deep inside, however, he's just using them for his own ends.
* HealingFactor: Explains the frequent forms and his survival from death and becoming a cyborg.
* TheHeavy: Although it would be hard for one to pick a single member of the BigBadEnsemble and name them as the sole BigBad[[note]]Malkor is only in the first season; Vekar is only in the second; Vrak is present in both, but his role in season 2 is merely filling the gap in between Vekar's demise and Mavro's arrival[[/note]], Vrak ''does'' spend the majority of both seasons of the show as one of the biggest threats to the Rangers, not to mention that on top of doing most of Malkor's work, he also is the last major threat the Rangers face before his father, Emperor Mavro, and outlasts his brother Vekar.
* HeroKiller: [[spoiler: After his return in "Vrak is Back". Not only does he regularly beatdown the Rangers, but he also does something no other villain in Power Rangers history: actually ''kill'' the Ranger he ''intended'' (as opposed to a HeroicSacrifice to stop their plans like Kendrix and Magna Defender) to kill when he badly wounds Robo Knight and leaves him to perish in his exploding base.]]
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: [[spoiler:His endgame involved using an eclipse to supercharge himself and his drills. Troy uses the same eclipse to supercharge his FinishingMove to finish off Vrak.]]
* ItsAllAboutMe: While not as apparent as his Sentai counterpart since Vrak works for greater powers, he is willing to put his own needs and wants above anything else. This is evident when he briefly takes the Wild Sword for himself without telling Malkor and when he doesn't call for any help to enact his final plan, except for his two commanders and the brainwashed Robo Knight, whom he sacrifices in order to reduce the planet into nothingness.
* KnightOfCerebus: He is one of the most powerful enemies the Rangers have ever faced. [[spoiler: He even go far as brainwashing and, later, killing Robo Knight]].
* LackOfEmpathy: Even in a family of universal conquerors, he is a cruel piece of work. He manipulates both his allies and enemies and doesn't care who gets hurt. He actually enjoys the suffering he causes.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: [[spoiler:Loses his memory upon being turned into a cyborg by Metal Alice. Regains it soon after, though.]]
* LightIsNotGood: [[spoiler:His true form is an angelic look, complete with gold armor and angel wings]]. Nevertheless, Vrak is anything but angelic and seems to only look that way because his counterpart is a fallen (Gosei) angel.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: Can do this with his seemingly infinite swarms of Zombats.
* ManipulativeBastard: Vrak cements himself as one when he manipulates the Toxic Mutants into joining the Warstar. [[spoiler:He also manipulates the Rangers by sending monsters at them, knowing they'd destroy them... which was ''exactly'' what he wanted, as their energies allowed them to turn into his drills.]]
* MoreDespicableMinion: He is the son of a tyrannical emperor whose body count likely exceeds his, but unlike Emperor Mavro who showed genuine care for his sons, Vrak is a sociopath who puts himself above family when it suits his purpose.
* {{Necromancer}}: Thanks to his Zombats, he can revive and enlarge dead monsters. He claims that they are '[[{{Magitek}} advanced technology]]' also, implying that they are this.
* NoBodyLeftBehind: [[spoiler:Subverted. Both he and his brother leave a corpse when they're killed, a rarity in Power Rangers.]]
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:Of his "True Form" version, in Super Megaforce, having kidnapped the Silver Ranger and stolen his powers, he's obtained enough power to restore his organic nature, allowing him to assume his far stronger true form. Fittingly, this ''also'' actually gives him retractable wings.]]
* OnlySaneMan: The only villain so far that actually takes the Rangers seriously, often [[LampshadeHanging lampshading]] how things always seem to turn to their favor. This allows him to be one step ahead of the rangers when none of the other villains could start.
* PetTheDog:
** Downplayed in the first few episodes of Metal Alice where he is actually impressed by her loyalty to him. He has also called her beautiful upon her creation. He even rebuilds her after her first destruction and lets her off to recharge with only a mere scolding, not unlike his superior Malkor’s. Unfortunately, any genuine concern he may have had for her flies out the window after his cyborgification and her eventual final battle against the rangers.
** He listens to The Messenger’s warning to go into hiding and doesn’t destroy his remaining head. It might just be because he deactivates after the warning and thus he didn’t feel the need to, but it’s still a bit merciful than his treatment of Metal Alice in her final moments (and especially compared to his Goseiger counterpart.)
* PragmaticVillainy: While he uses his own allies as pawns, Vrak is perfectly content with allowing them a 50-50 chance to destroy the rangers as it helps him to get rid of an obstacle in his goals, hence why he enlarged even Creepox and Blufur despite them failing the first time. He also knows not to dispose of a pawn too early, which explains how he didn't leave Metal Alice to self-destruct until after the Armada forces were close to arrival.
* PsychoForHire: While his evil actions are technically in service to his father’s empire, it is clear that he is having a blast committing them.
* PyrrhicVictory: [[spoiler:The Armada has arrived and begun its invasion come season's end, but Vrak is a damaged cyborg and would likely not be recognized by the Armada and is forced to go on the run.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: Blue to Creepox's Red. He also serves as the blue to Vekar's red.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: He’s the son of Ackdos’ counterpart, Mavro, the brother of Warz’s, Vekar from Gokaiger.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: He is alien royalty, and is the one who causes monsters to grow with his Zombats.
** He is also not above taking the initiative and starting his own plans, like sending Virox to infect the Earth. Malkor didn't know what was going on until Virox and Vrak told him.
* {{Sadist}}: Perhaps more so than his Sentai counterpart. He takes pleasure in others' suffering, and it is obvious that he enjoys fooling his allies to their deaths. He even has no care for his brother, as when he mocks Vekar for failing to beat the Rangers.
* TheSociopath: While he's hinted to have cared for his royal family and his father, he has shown several signs of his status as a low-functioning sociopath. He manipulates who he wishes, [[spoiler:heartlessly crushes Metal Alice's spirit for her failure on her deathbed [[UngratefulBastard despite saving him from death]] and mocks his dead brother as weak and foolish.]] His final plan with the drills doesn't seem to benefit the Armada in any way, so his concern is obviously himself first, and his father and the Armada afterwards.
* TheStarscream: On top of already being the DragonInChief who puts most of the villains' plans into motion, claims to be this when he takes advantage of Admiral Malkor going into his cocoon state late in the season to further his schemes. He never gets to take any action against Malkor due to the rangers killing him first, That said, it isn't purely out of [[WellDoneSonGuy completely selfish motives]] and the fact that it takes so long for him to even ''claim'' to make a move ironically makes him much more loyal than his incredibly treacherous ''Goseiger'' counterpart. [[spoiler:When he returns in Super Megaforce, he more or less ''thanks'' the Rangers for killing his brother, allowing him to become the heir to the throne. He doesn't seem to be one towards his father though]]
* ThisCannotBe: [[spoiler:His reaction when the Rangers destroy both Malkor and the Warstar's ship in one final blast, and he's caught in it.]]
* {{Took a Level in Badass}}: After being rebuilt as a cyborg, Vrak becomes much more formidable. He becomes even stronger during the Vrak is Back two-parter after he kidnaps the Silver Ranger and absorbs his powers.
* {{Took a Level in Jerkass}}: While from start to finish he is a ManipulativeBastard, he at least somewhat reasonable when giving others a chance for victory and had a degree of loyalty to his own family. It is after his near death experience when he becomes extremely cruel and heartless.
* UngratefulBastard: [[spoiler:Despite all Metal Alice did for him, Vrak chastised her for her failure on her deathbed]].
* VillainForgotToLevelGrind: ''Defied''. [[spoiler:When he returns in Super Megaforce, after absorbing the Silver Ranger's powers, not only has [[OneWingedAngel he regained his extremely powerful true form]], he ''negates'' the heroes' power boosts by disabling Super Mega Mode and turning the Ranger Keys to stone.]]
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Can change from his usual blue-and-silver form to a form with red armor-and-claws known as his "Earth Armor". [[spoiler:Loses this after he is rebuilt by Metal Alice, and is currently still stuck in his Cyborg form in the aftermath of the Armada's invasion.]]
* WeCanRebuildHim: [[spoiler:Is easily reconfigured into a cyborg by Metal Alice after his death at the hands of the Rangers.]]
* WellDoneSonGuy: [[spoiler:Is apparently this to his father, the leader of The Armada. He planned to betray Malkor all to impress Mavro. Justified since even though he is the favorite child of Mavro, he is still not given the throne due to being his second born.]]

A moth-themed Insectoid and the leader of the Warstar Army.
----
* AdaptationExpansion: While still an UnwittingPawn and DiscOneFinalBoss, he lasts longer than his ''Goseiger'' counterpart Mons Drake.
* BigBad: Of Megaforce, [[spoiler: until it’s revealed that Vrak was only using him for his own agenda]].
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: He doesn't physically abuse his henchmen like Mons Drake (even that was only in one episode out of grief over "losing" Dereputa and directed at [[KickTheSonOfABitch Buredoran]] and his monster), only scolding them. He is also more patient and is willing to point out both the strength and weaknesses of a plan his minion comes up with.
* BenevolentBoss: Unlike past Power Rangers villains, Malkor treats his subordinates with true respect and as equals (apart from when he's scolding them for failing their missions, but even then he still gives credit where credit is due). Thus, all of them have UndyingLoyalty towards him, [[spoiler: with the exception of Vrak]].
* DiscOneFinalBoss: As the leader of the Warstar, he's the main villain for most of ''Megaforce''... at least, for half of it. Although he sticks around far longer than his Super Sentai counterpart, Malkor's defeat isn't the end of the season, since [[DragonInChief Vrak]] takes his place for the final quarter.
* GeniusBruiser: Pre-release material paints him as one, saying he combines the intelligence of Vrak with strength greater than Creepox's. He's just too lazy to do anything with it.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: He calls for Vrak to crash the Warstar ship as a backup plan, not only fails, but the Rangers destroy him by crashing him into his own ship.
* IShallTauntYou: When he finally gets tired of the OrcusOnHisThrone approach and fights the Rangers, he spends a good deal of the fight taunting them whilst kicking their collective asses.
* LargeHam: In true Power Rangers villains tradition.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Lazily sits in his spaceship all day sending aliens to attack Earth.
* PunnyName: His name is based around the red admiral moth.
* UnwittingPawn: Zigzagged. He does know that he's not the greatest threat around, that being the Armada, and Vrak is very open about his royal heritage from said empire, which would technically mean Malkor outranks him. But what he doesn't know, however, is that Vrak intends to usurp his position as Warstar's leader to please his father Mavro. The only reason he doesn't find out is that he gets destroyed by the Rangers throwing him to his ship before Vrak could even come close to overtaking him.

A mantis-themed Insectoid and Admiral Malkor's general. He has the title of "The Mightiest of All Insectoids".
----
* TheBrute: Malkor's main muscle. Also goes with his plans to conquer earth. Where Vrak's are strategic and well thought out, Creepox's is basically a powerful monster to crush the heroes with little training.
* CoDragons: With Vrak for the early episodes of Megaforce. Creepox is very much TheBrute, however.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: He's exploded at human size, then revived as a giant and is KilledOffForReal in a Megazord battle. This is the reverse of how it happened in Goseiger.
* FantasticRacism: Towards humans.
* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Even though he [[spoiler:lasted only seven episodes]]; that was long enough for him to display racism, misogyny, and elitism.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: Goofy and kinda weird-looking, but in his first appearance he easily beats Troy and Emma without taking a single hit.
* BoomerangBigot: Of sorts; both he and Bluefur are disgusted by the pollution caused by humanity, and wish to punish all mankind for it, despite the fact that they themselves were formed from it.
* DemotedToDragon: A Meta example, in ''Goseiger'' he was the second ArcVillain, in ''Megaforce'' he's working for Malkor and Vrak, unaware, [[UnwittingPawn that they are apart of Vrak's master plan]] to take over the Earth.

The eldest son of Emperor Mavro and the older brother to Vrak. Vekar led the Armada to Earth.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: Much more competent and more of a threat compared to his Sentai counterpart, [[spoiler: [[VillainDecay at least at the start]]]].
* AdaptationalJerkass: He's not as kind to Argus as Warz is to Barizorg (well, barring the whole "having his previous identity removed by brainwashing" bit). [[spoiler: Subverted later when he is both sad and angry when he's destroyed.]]
* AvengingTheVillain:
** [[spoiler:Decides to kill the Rangers and conquer the Earth to avenge the supposed death of his brother, Vrak... Though considering that he quickly brushed aside the possibility of him being alive, there might be more to this than just avenging Vrak.]]
** [[spoiler: His final battle in the show is after Argus is destroyed.]]
* BadBoss: Was okay with turning one of his commanders into a suicide bomber, and didn't even tell the bomber about his plan beforehand.
* BigBadEnsemble: The main villain for most of ''Super Megaforce'' as the Armada's leader, though near the end after his death he's replaced by Vrak (and later Mavro).
* DeadpanSnarker: Like his brother, he has his moments, such as when talking to the Armada's monsters or when he finally confronts the Rangers in "Samurai Surprise".
-->'''Vekar''': It looks like I must do everything myself. Everyone prepare for immediate deployment! We leave in 5 minutes.\
'''Matacore''': For Earth?\
'''Vekar''': No, for Mars! Of course, for Earth!
* DisappointingOlderSibling: To Vrak. While he is the older sibling, his immaturity, hot-tempered, and pettiness makes him an ill-equipped leader in his Royal Family. Mavro clearly states as such viewing Vekar as a blunderer compared to Vrak. Vrak has absolutely no respect for Vekar, and is even elated upon learning that the Rangers destroyed him.
* DirtyCoward: As soon as he's in the slightest bit of danger, he panics, starting with screaming "NotInTheFace!"
* {{Foil}}: To Vrak. Vekar seems to lack any combat capability that his father and brother possess, while Vrak is a powerful figure capable of fighting evenly with the Rangers. Vekar is much more irrational and crazy, whereas Vrak was composed and methodical. On the other hand, Vekar's plots are much darker and dangerous yet simply effective, compared to Vrak's which were admittedly weak in comparison but were more thought out and strategic.
* FreudianExcuse: "All Hail Prince Vekar" indicates that dear old daddy Mavro favoring [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter his younger brother Vrak]] over him is where [[WellDoneSonGuy his impulsivness]] [[InferioritySuperiorityComplex and narcissism]] came from. Conquering the Earth is a way of proving himself as a worthy heir, and superior to his brother Vrak.
* GreaterScopeVillain: He and his Armada are this for ''Megaforce'', especially in the season's later episodes.
* TheHeavy: For his father, the Emperor.
* InterimVillain: When Vrak goes into hiding, Vekar steps up as the ArcVillain for at least two-thirds of ''Super Megaforce''. After Vekar is killed, Vrak returns to reclaim the BigBad mantle.
* MinorInjuryOverreaction: He gets winged by the Rangers in "Samurai Surprise", shrieks in pain and immediately orders a retreat. He continues to moan and complain about the serious pain he's in through the next few scenes, even as the "injury" is confirmed to be a little worse than a paper cut.
* {{Narcissist}}: Positively [[{{Squee}} squees]] when he sees that the Armada Megazord has his face on the chest.
* NeverMyFault: Always blames his failure to kill the Rangers personally on others, usually Damaras.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Vekar is spoiled, cowardly and lazy, not to mention the Rangers barely consider him a threat, so it's easy to forget he conquered many worlds for the Armada, including Orion's world. Also, in the second episode of ''Super Megaforce'', he wanted to have missiles launched at several major cities.
** In his last episode, he fights the rangers in a new Megazord, which gave them a good beating.
* NoBodyLeftBehind: [[spoiler:Subverted, he leaves a corpse when he's killed in the destruction of his Megazord which Damaras recovers.]]
* PsychopathicManchild: Is crazy enough to lay waste to any planet in the way of his Armada and destroy major cities on the Earth, but also throws tantrums whenever he doesn't get his way.
* RedOniBlueOni: He is rash, impulsive, and arrogant compared to Vrak's cool, collected, and cunning demeanor.
* ThisCannotBe: Aside from the usual plan failing, [[spoiler:his last words apply the most]].
-->'''Prince Vekar''': [[spoiler:Impossible! No, no, no! This can't be happening! This was supposed to be MY big moment! Not yours!]]
* TheUnFavorite: Despite being the heir, Vekar is overshadowed by his younger brother Vrak. His father even calls him a blundering fool compared to Vrak.
* VillainousBreakdown: When the Rangers take the fight to the Armada in episode 2, he absolutely flips out. This continues for the rest of the series.
* WellDoneSonGuy: When an Elite Guard member shows up and implies that Vekar's father is disappointed in him, Vekar sets out to prove him wrong.

Prince Vekar's second in command.
----
* CoDragons: with Levira and Argus. Even if they're subservient to him, they have arguably the same authority than Damaras due to being Prince Vekar's favorite generals, in contrast to Damaras whom he despises.
* TheDragon: To Prince Vekar. He serves as his War Advisor and top General.
* DragonInChief: He's stronger and (apparently) smarter than Vekar, making him the true main villain for most of season 2. This is acknowledged by the VideoGame, were he's the true main villain who [[DragonTheirFeet outlives Prince Vekar and Levira]].
* PlayAlongPrisoner: When Mavro arrests him for his failure he doesn't fight back out of loyalty. But the moment he's given a chance to redeem himself, he proceeds to effortlessly [[BreakingTheBonds destroy both his handcuffs and the ''entire cell'' he was kept in]], which even Redker admits is impressive.
--> '''Damaras''': Do you know who you're talking to!? No cage can hold me! All that kept me here was my allegiance to the emperor.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: He goes on one of these after [[spoiler: Vekar and Vrak are killed.]]

* AbhorrentAdmirer: For Jake when she drank a love potion meant to make her fall for the monster of the week. Thankfully, it wore off at the end of the episode.
* CoDragons: First with Damaras and Argus to Prince Vekar, then with Redker to Emperor Mavro.
* EvilGenius: The Armada's technical genius and strategist.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: Enlarges the Armada's fallen monsters with a machine she designed. It's also mentioned to be more effective than Vrak's Zombats were and is capable of enlarging several monsters at once. Averted with Levira herself; she pilots a giant robot at first, then fights the heroes on the ground. After being fatally injured, she begs to be enlarged so she can fight again, but Mavro and Redker just ignore her and let her die.
* PetTheDog:
** Despite being evil, she showed genuine sympathy to Vekar [[spoiler:when talking about the now assumed to be deceased Prince Vrak and even said that they could search for any possibility that he is alive]].
** Levira is also the one who convinces Mavro to give Damaras a chance to redeem himself for failing to protect Vekar.

A cyborg villain-general who serves as the personal bodyguard to Prince Vekar.
----
* AdaptationalVillainy: No sympathetic, BrainwashedAndCrazy backstory for him.
* TheBrute: He is Prince Vekar's bodyguard and the Armada's strongest swordsman.
* CoDragons: with Damaras and Levira. While the former is the army's second-in-command and the latter Vekar's number two in the scientific area, Argus is the prince's BattleButler and the ''only'' general whom he fully trusts.
* TheComicallySerious: Especially serves this purpose when Vekar is having a fit.
* DemotedToExtra: [[spoiler: Argus's Sentai counterpart, Barizog, was previously a human named Sid Bamick, who was the friend of Joe Gibken, Noah's sentai counterpart, prior to being BrainwashedAndCrazy. Their rivalry stemmed from the fact that Joe desperately wanted to bring Sid back to normal, whereas Argus...has no such history (either with Noah or any of the rangers), and his rivalry with Noah has no real reason as to why it exists]].
* {{Irony}}: He only has one eye, but is given the name of a multi-eyed creature.
* LiteralMinded: When Vekar made a comment about numbers playing a role in the invasion, Argus started counting.
* MasterSwordsman: Is the Armada's strongest swordsman [[spoiler: besides Damaras]], capable of almost killing a member of the Elite Guard on his own, something that took an entire team of Rangers to do.
* TheQuietOne: Doesn't speak much.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: Named after the Greek giant with a hundred eyes that served the goddess Hera.
* TheStoic: Always calm and barely expresses emotion, even when dealing with the Prince's tantrums.
* UndyingLoyalty: to Vekar. Vekar's loyalty to him also knows no bonds.

The Kraken-themed emperor/leader of the Armada, and father to Prince Vekar and Vrak. After both of his sons' deaths, he came to Earth himself and took over the invasion fleet, seeking revenge on the Rangers.
----
* AdaptationalWimp: The original Emperor was probably one of the most powerful Big Bads in the franchise to the point that [[spoiler: it took the combined power of all the Sentai Keys to kill him, but Mavro in the non-extended version dies when his ship is destroyed]]
* BadassBoast:
** [[IsThatAThreat "Is that supposed to frighten me?]] You two are so pathetic I don't even need to ''stand'' to defeat you!"
** Later in the extended version "I've survived far worse than that pathetic attempt! Hundreds of worlds, countless enemies have fallen before me! And now you will be added to the list of the defeated and forgotten!" For the record, said pathetic attempt involved being impaled, severely electrocuted, hit with a double FinishingMove, and being in his ship when it exploded.
* BigBad: He becomes this after both of his sons are destroyed. Plus, he's the true leader of the Armada and therefore the true overall antagonist of both ''Megaforce'' and ''Super Megaforce''.
* DecapitatedArmy: Subverted. [[spoiler:Killing him is the first nail in the Armada's coffin, but their army still makes one LastVillainStand and needs to be annihilated by the combined forces of every Ranger team.]]
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Despite ruling a genocidal empire and not thinking highly of the latter as a warrior, he still seems to care about Vrak and Vekar. Upon learning about their demises at the hands of the Rangers, he has Damaras locked up for failing to protect Vekar before taking charge to avenge his sons' deaths by destroying the Rangers.
* EvilOverlooker: His eyes loom over all of the rangers in the entire franchise in the official poster of Super Megaforce.
* EvilSoundsDeep: He has a suitably menacing, booming voice.
* GreaterScopeVillain: He's the father of Vrak and Vekar and is the true leader of the Armada. However, he's too busy running his empire and attacking other planets to deal with Earth. He makes his first appearance in a flashback during "All Hail Prince Vekar" and is only involved in the final three episodes after his sons are defeated.
* IsThatTheBestYouCanDo: In the Extended Cut, this is his reaction to [[spoiler:his RasputinianDeath in the original cut, essentially boasting 'I've survived far worse than that pathetic attempt!']]
* MeaningfulName: "Mavro'''s'''" means "black" in Greek, and his body is mostly black in color.
* MightMakesRight: His statements in the FinalBattle implies he's a firm believer in this, and believe his power allows him to do anything he wants.
--> '''Mavro''': Power is destiny! And yours is to lose!
* NervesOfSteel: His reaction in the extended cut to [[spoiler:tanking a double FinishingMove, being electrocuted, and then going down with his ship in a massive explosion]] is to basically shrug it off and say 'I've survived far worse than that pathetic attempt!'
* NoNonsenseNemesis: Has none of his sons' restraint and goes all out to conquer Earth.
* ObviouslyEvil: Whereas his sons had humanoid forms that were at least pleasant-looking, Mavro himself looks like a cross between a cyborg and a demon.
* OhCrap: Has one when he realizes [[spoiler:Troy and Orion weren't aiming at him but the console in front of him, resulting in him getting a face full of sparks that blinds him and sets up his destruction.]]
* OrcusOnHisThrone: He spends most of his screentime lounging in his throne while delegating minions to do the grunt work. This gets taken to a humorous/awesome extreme where he deems Troy and Orion so beneath his attention, he proceeds to kick both of their asses, while ''still'' sitting in his chair.
* ParentalFavoritism: According to Vekar, Mavro always favored his younger brother Vrak over him. And with good reason since Vrak is clearly much more powerful and competent than Vekar. Also, Vrak is TheChessmaster who is more than capable of working on his own for his Royal Family (although relying on others' powers to win), while Vekar is a PsychopathicManchild who has to be constantly supervised by his own henchmen when leading an invasion. The favoritism does play both ways however because no matter how much Vrak earns his father's favor, he cannot inherit the family throne because it is Vekar's birthright as the older son, leading Vrak to resent his incompetent brother for having the birthright of inheriting the throne. On the other hand, Vekar develops resentment toward Vrak because their father favors him, thus leading to an implied off-screen sibling rivalry between the two alien princes.
* RasputinianDeath: [[spoiler:Not ''nearly'' as big of one as his Japanese self, but still counts. He has a control console explode in his face, is then impaled and driven into the main console of the ship, resulting in a malfunction that ''electrocutes him'' (given this also causes several large explosions throughout the ship, that was probably a lot of electricity), and finally shot with a double FinishingMove, causing the said console to explode. And if somehow he survived ''all of that'', he died when his ship exploded with him inside it. The extended edition adds in the same land battle that Ackdos Gill went through, minus the pre-Zyuranger teams: he takes several combination attacks from past Ranger teams, Orion's Gold Mode finisher, an attack by all six Rangers in Super Modes and a new team energy slash finisher, followed by a point-blank shot from the Super Mega Cannon to finally end him.]]
* SuperToughness: [[spoiler:In the Extended Version of his last battle against the Rangers, he proves himself to have incredible durability and brute strength of his own to withstand many an attack from the Rangers in Super Mode, something neither Vekar nor Vrak (the latter of whom only had strength from powers he stole) could ever have mustered.]]
* VilerNewVillain: While he does care for his sons, he is shown to be a no-nonsense Obviously Evil tyrant who drove Prince Vekar to destroy Orion's planet, Andresia (which killed all his people, family included) and his treatment towards Damaras and Levira is never PlayedForLaughs. Even Vrak had only one confirmed kill and was at least charismatic.
