[[folder:In General]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lightspeed_rescue_team.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:The Lightspeed Rangers]]
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: The Lightspeed Rangers are a more functional team than the [[DysfunctionalFamily GoGoV]], at least Captain Mitchell didn't abandon his son and daugther ten years ago to save the Earth from evil demons.
* BadassCrew: The team consists of a quick-thinking fire-fighter who serves as the leader, a skilled pilot, a martial artist who is also trained in scuba-diving, a medical expert who is by no means a slouch in combat, and a professional athlete. They are later joined by the medical expert's brother whose intimate knowledge of the demon world proves useful in stopping them.
* CombatPragmatist: The Lightspeed Rangers rely more on firearms than melee combat compared to most other Ranger teams.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: While [[Series/PowerRangersLostGalaxy the Galaxy Rangers were space explorers]], the Lightspeed Rangers' adventures are set entirely on Earth. The Galaxy Rangers were chosen by mystical forces while the Lightspeed Rangers were recruited by a government-funded operation. The Galaxy Rangers' powers were magical in nature while the Lightspeed Rangers' powers are a product of science.
* TransformationTrinket:
** The core five Rangers use the Rescue Morphers to morph.
** The Titanium Ranger uses the Titanium Morpher to morph.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: Played with. The team in ''[=GoGoV=]'' were five siblings and their mentor was their father. Only Dana and Ryan (the latter of which is ironically a CanonForeigner) are siblings and their father, Captain Mitchell, is the team's mentor. The others are completely unrelated.

--> ''You'd think they'd have learned they can't beat the Power Rangers.''

Carter was a firefighter when Lightspeed recruited him into becoming a Ranger. Having already seen a demon monster during an assignment, he agreed to the opportunity, and became the Red Lightspeed Ranger.
----
* AllAmericanFace: He's a square-jawed blond leader figure who works a heroic profession.
* BaritoneOfStrength: Has a deep and commanding voice, and is a grade-A badass.
* CombatPragmatist: On his first day as a Ranger, the first thing he does is try to ''run over'' the Batlings and the demon [[CarFu using the Humvee]], and brings a gun to shoot down mooks in "Forever Red" (thus averting WhyDontYaJustShootHim). This is most likely a reflection of his work as a firefighter as he has to make very quick but calculated decisions in dangerous situations.
* DeadpanSnarker: Not as much as Diabolico, but still has his moments.
* {{Determinator}}: "My Megazord's down, but I'm not!"
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: In the finale, he one-shots Bansheera, the queen of demonkind.
* GroundhogDayLoop: Went back in time while riding the M.A.V. (Mobile Armored Vehicle) in "Yesterday Again".
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: He has blonde hair and is a very generous, affable person.
* HeroicFireRescue: Introduced as a member of a team of firefighters saving people.
* LawOfChromaticSuperiority: ZigZagged. He gets a special sidecar add-on to his bike first, but Joel and Chad get their {{Super Mode}}s ahead of him. Then he gets a second bike that doubles as its own Super Mode.
* MythologyGag: Carter's a firefighter similar to his sentai counterpart.
* TheLeader: He's the Red Ranger of this team, so he calls the shots on the field.
* NiceGuy: If [[ComicBook/CaptainAmerica Steve Rogers]] was a Power Ranger, he’d be Carter Grayson.
* NinetiesHair: "Curtained hair", to be specific, kinda like Creator/LeonardoDiCaprio's in ''[[Film/Titanic1997 Titanic]]'', or [[Music/BackstreetBoys Nick Carter's]] 90s hairstyle.
* RedIsHeroic: Carter is recruited by Captain Mitchell to become the Red Lightspeed Ranger and leader of the Lightspeed Rangers.
* ShipTease: With Dana.

-->''I don't have to prove myself to anyone. I know who I am.''

Chad was a performer at a local marine park who also studied martial arts when Lightspeed recruited him into becoming a Ranger. He agreed to the opportunity, and became the Blue Lightspeed Ranger.
----
* AnimalLover: Chad had just completed one of his whale shows at a theme park when he was approached by Lightspeed agents to take him to the Aquabase.
* TheBigGuy: He's the tallest of the Rangers and the most adept at hand to hand combat. Whereas the other Rangers have to use their weapons to destroy their [[PsychoRangers robotic counterparts]], Chad defeats his double with [[CharlesAtlasSuperpower his bare hands]].
* BlueIsHeroic: Chad is recruited by Captain Mitchell to become the Blue Lightspeed Ranger.
* TheCastShowOff: His actor, Mike Chat, is a very skilled martial artist and producers really were sure to showcase his abilities, specially in episodes focused on him.
%%* TheEveryman
* GunsAkimbo: Chad can fire a blaster with each hand in combat when he needs to.
* IKnowKarate: Mike Chat is a professional martial artist, so Chad's a skilled hand-to-hand combatant.
* InterspeciesRomance: Had a GirlOfTheWeek love interest in Marina, a mermaid.
* KillItWithIce: His Mega Battle Gear projects cold upon enemies.
* MartialPacifist: Chad isn't a violent man--he only fights when he really has to. The folder quote is Chad's response to an angry punk goading him into a street fight; in the end, he simply humiliates the guy by tripping him a few times.
* ObliviousToLove: Kelsey showed obvious signs of being interested in him, he seemed completely clueless.
* OddFriendship: With Kelsey. Pretty [[ShoutOut reminiscent]] of the friendship between Billy and Trini from the Mighty-Morphin' days. Coincidentally (or not), the color of their respective suits match that of Billy and Trini.
* TheQuietOne: Shares this trope with Ryan.
* SuperMode: He gets a Mega Battle Armor along with Joel in "The Mighty Mega-Battles"; his has an [[FreezeRay ice gun]].
* TakeMyHand: In a scene conveying separation rather than danger, Chad keeps his hand extended for a while, trying to get Marina to come back to him after she's forced to return to the ocean.
* TallDarkAndHandsome: Has dark hair, is the tallest male character, and even romanced a mermaid.
* TwoFirstNames: Chad and Lee are pretty common first names (though Lee can be a common East Asian surname).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Joel Rawlings / Green Lightspeed Ranger]]
!!Joel Rawlings / [[green:Green Lightspeed Ranger]]

--> '''Carter:''' Why do you always have to be the center of attention?
--> '''Joel:''' Well, I don't ''have'' to be, it's just that I usually am.

Joel was a stunt flyer know as the "Sky Cowboy" when Lightspeed recruited him into becoming a Ranger. While reluctant after what he thought was kidnapping, he agreed to the opportunity, and became the Green Lightspeed Ranger.
----
* AcePilot: A stunt pilot before being recruited, nicknamed the Sky Cowboy.
* AllLoveIsUnrequited: With Ms. Fairweather, for most of the series.
* ArbitrarySkepticism: Joel initially doesn't believe Captain Mitchell's claims concerning a demonic invasion despite Earth being under attack by forces both alien and mystical in nature multiple times.
* CasanovaWannabe: Joel is a chick magnet, thanks to his showboating, but when it comes to Ms. Fairweather, pretty much all his efforts strike out.
* CharacterDevelopment: At the start of the series, Joel is a real arrogant prick. He is brash, insensitive, thinks he knows everything better than the people in charge and likes to act on his own rather than using teamwork. He also seems to think he is irresistible to women, acting like Ms. Fairweather is already his girlfriend. As the series progresses, Joel becomes more humble, more of a team player and his behavior around Ms. Fairweather turns from jerky to dorky.
* GreenMeansNatural: Joel is recruited by Captain Mitchell to become the Green Lightspeed Ranger.
* TheLancer: He is second-in-command of the Lightspeed Rangers, and contrasts Carter's gravitas by being a cocky joker.
* LeapAndFire: Joel often fires his gun while in the process of jumping and flipping.
* OfficialCouple: He eventually gets together with Ms. Fairweather towards the end of the series.
* PluckyComicRelief: Between his skirt chasing, egotism and occasional goldbricking he's the least serious of the Lightspeed Rangers. [[BewareTheSillyOnes That said]], he's no pushover in a fight.
* RedBaron: Joel is known as "The Sky Cowboy" due to his aerial stunts and western apparel.
* RefusalOfTheCall: In the first episode, his response to being summoned and learning about the demons is outrage, and dismissing Captain Mitchell as nuts. He does change his mind after seeing the Demon's attacking Mariner Bay though.
* SuperMode: He gets a Mega Battle Armor along with Chad in "The Mighty Mega-Battles"; his has a [[strike: pizza cutter]] circular saw.
* TallDarkAndHandsome: Hot stunt pilot with a smile that could melt any heart, including Ms. Fairweather's at the end of the season.

--> ''"Crazy" is my middle name.''

Kelsey was a professional rock climber and sports enthusiast when Lightspeed recruited her into becoming a Ranger. She agreed to the opportunity, and became the Yellow Lightspeed Ranger.
----
* ActionGirl: She's introduced doing rock climbing on a tough mountainside cliff doing extreme sports prior to becoming a Power Ranger, being the reason she JumpedAtTheCall.
* AmbiguouslyGay: She has some 'traditional' masculine attributes, and is about as Ambiguously Gay as you used to get on ''Power Rangers''. She was quite friendly with a woman she met in one of her early episodes as well.
* CuteBruiser: She's pretty, and pretty good when it comes to on your feet combat.
* GunTwirling: On occasion, she twirls her blaster pistol after firing it.
* HeroesLoveDogs: In one episode, Kelsey shows some brief affection for a dog she rescues from traffic.
* IdenticalGranddaughter: As young woman, Kesey's grandmother looked just like her.
* InadequateInheritor: It's implied her grandmother considered her this in "The Fifth Crystal." The titular crystal seems to have been a family heirloom passed down by the women in Kelsey's family, with Grandma Winslow saying she got it from her mom and so on. However, she gives no indication she ever planned on passing it down to Kelsey since this appears to be the first time Kelsey's informed of the tradition.
* KidAppealCharacter: Youngest of the group, hot-headed, slightly immature [[note]]best illustrated when she taunted Chad's sensei behind his back, only to turn tail when he noticed[[/note]], and colored in Yellow.
* LeeroyJenkins: Kelsey sometimes attacks monsters without a strategy, which gets her hospitalized on one occasion.
* LightningBruiser: Kelsey is one of the faster-moving Rangers and puts a lot of power behind her blows in a fight.
* MetaphorIsMyMiddleName: At one point claims that "crazy" is her middle name.
* OddFriendship: With Chad. He's a calm and focused martial artist. She's an enthusiastic sport junkie. They may not seem very compatible, but they're one of the closer friends between all the rangers.
* PassionateSportsGirl: The first time we see her, she's doing some rock climbing. And when Chad teaches her some martial arts techniques, she returns the favor by teaching him to rollerblade.
* PerpetualSmiler: Kelsey is almost always seen with a smile on her face. It's actually a bit OutOfCharacter for her to be not smiling for more than a few seconds at a time.
* PrimaryColorChampion: Kelsey is recruited by Captain Mitchell to become the Yellow Lightspeed Ranger.
* RollerbladeGood: Kelsey travels around on roller-skates when she's not in costume or mountain-climbing.
* SecretlyWealthy: Turns out to be from a very rich family but prefers a more "down to Earth" lifestyle and the conflict with her wealthy grandmother about that attitude kept them apart for years.
* ShesAManInJapan: Her original version, [=GoYellow=] was Daimon Tatsumi, a male policeman.
* ShipTease: With Chad at times. The look on her face with another girl shows interest in him is one of jealousy, but she's such a good friend that she offers to show him how to talk to girls (likely asking him to practice with her).
** There's a bit of subtext as well with her friend Nancy.
* TankTopTomboy: Kelsey is an extreme sports enthusiast and ActionGirl who generally wears tank tops.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Tomboy to Dana's Girly Girl.
* WellDoneSonGuy: She apparently had this relationship with her grandmother. In "The Fifth Crystal", their relationship is revealed to be strained because Grandma Winslow's a rather cold woman, even though she used to be a lot like Kelsey when she was young. After Kelsey's tricked into giving the bad guys the fifth Starlight Crystal, Grandma Winslow blisteringly reveals how disappointed she is in Kelsey. Thankfully, the two mend fences by the end of the episode.

[[folder:Dana Mitchell / Pink Lightspeed Ranger]]
!!Dana Mitchell / [[pink:Pink Lightspeed Ranger]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/prlr_rg_dana.jpg]]
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Alison [=MacInnis=]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Adriana Casas (Latin American Spanish dub), Yuka Shioyama (Japanese dub)
!!!'''Guest Appearances:''' ''Series/PowerRangersTimeForce'' | ''Series/PowerRangersMegaForce''

--> '''Captain Mitchell''': For years, I've been training you to become the Pink Power Ranger. And after today, I know I couldn't have been more right.

Dana was the daughter of Captain Mitchell, and already worked at Lightspeed when the demons reemerged. While she was sent to recruit the four candidates into becoming Power Rangers, she was unknowingly the fifth and final candidate by her father, and joined them as the Pink Lightspeed Ranger.
----
* AcquiredSituationalNarcissism: When she was the Glitz Girl in "In the Limelight". [[spoiler: Near the end of the episode, Dana realizes her mistake and genuinely feels bad, subsequently ditching her modeling (finding that it really wasn't for her) and everything going back to normal]].
* BadassBookworm: She's book-smart and knows how to play chess, but Dana is a competent Pink ranger.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Joel found that out the hard way when he goofily pressed a bunch of buttons causing some kind of emergency. Dana [[TranquilFury never said a word but was clearly royally pissed off]] as she gave a terrifying DeathGlare to Joel as she quickly deactivated whatever he did and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and dragged him into their meeting with Captain Mitchell. He quickly went quiet and stopped horsing around, at least until the meeting was over.
** Memorase also got a taste of that in their battle. A MonsterOfTheWeek that effortlessly dispatched all five Rangers and then wiped their memories. She put up a better fight against Memorase than anyone had to that point.
* CombatMedic: In addition to being a ranger, she has medical and combat training and wants to be a doctor.
* FeetFirstIntroduction: The first shot of Dana shows her feet as she goes to brief her father about the demos escaping from their tomb.
* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: During "The Fate of Lightspeed", she snaps her father out of his HeroicBSOD and helps him escape the destruction of Lightspeed Aquabase.
* ImprobableAge: She is about 18 years old, yet her father has apparently raised her to be a Ranger since she was a little girl.
* MsFanservice: It's relatively subdued, but Dana wears a skirt and fairly tight blouse in most of her un-morphed scenes and has a bikini scene or two as well. She also wears flattering tank tops in a few of the later episodes.
* MythologyGag: Dana's a paramedic similar to her sentai counterpart.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Is seen celebrating with the other Rangers after their victory over Ghouligan (who they all thought was Diabolico).
* OddNameOut: Dana is the first pink Ranger not to have a name starting with "k" or "c."
* PinkHeroine: Dana was assigned by her father, Captain Mitchell to assemble four of the five members of the Lightspeed Rangers. Unbeknownst to her, Captain Mitchell trained and chose her to become the Pink Lightspeed Ranger.
* QuicklyDemotedLeader: Was the unofficial team leader in the first two episodes, due to her vast experience and knowledge of the Lightspeed program and was second-in-command to Captain Mitchell, from episode three onward, Carter was the team leader and by episode five wasn't even the NumberTwo anymore.
* ShipTease: The episode "The Last Ranger", Carter's memories involved him spending time with Dana and what appeared to be going on a date with her.
%%* TheSmartGirl
%%* TeamMom
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Girly Girl to Kelsey's Tomboy.
* WhenSheSmiles: Dana is generally one of the more serious Rangers, but has a pretty beaming smile.

[[folder:Ryan Mitchell / Titanium Lightspeed Ranger]]
!!Ryan Mitchell / [[gray:Titanium Ranger]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/prlr_rg_ryan.jpg]]
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Rhett Fisher
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Gabriel Ortiz (Latin American Spanish dub), Takuma Takewaka (Japanese dub)
!!!'''Guest Appearances:''' ''Series/PowerRangersTimeForce'' | ''Series/PowerRangersMegaForce''[[note]]In Costume only, Non-Speaking[[/note]]

Years ago, Captain Mitchell was in a car accident that left him, Dana, and his son Ryan hanging for their life on a cliff. To keep his son from falling from his death, Mitchell reluctantly agreed to have Diabolico save Ryan at the cost of not seeing him until he turned 20.
\
Years later, Ryan reemerged from the demon world and stole the experimental Titanium Morpher to fight against the Rangers. However, after learning the truth from Captain Mitchell, Ryan defected from the demons and joined his father's Ranger team.
----
* BigDamnHeroes: In "Ryan's Destiny", he helps rescue a mother and her two children by throwing the feather away just before it explodes. Later, he saves the other five Rangers from three demons trying to kill them.
* CanonForeigner: Due to ''[[Series/RescueSentaiGoGoFive GoGoV]]'' unusually only having five Rangers throughout the series, the production team added a new helmet and shoulder pads to a recolored ''[[Series/KousokuSentaiTurboranger Turboranger]]'' suit to make a SixthRanger.
* CommutingOnABus: After Bansheera's return, he takes off to find a way to defeat her and the other demons. He still made sporadic appearances every now and then, and [[BackForTheFinale returned in time for the final battle]].
* DecompositeCharacter: The closest thing ''[=GoGoV=]'' had to a SixthRanger was Demon Hunter Zeek, who wound up passing his powers on to the [=GoGoV=]'s recurring ally Kyoko Hayase (though she lost those powers). Kyoko's original role (that of a space shuttle pilot rescued by the Rangers) became Nancy Cooper, while her [[WrenchWench assisting the team with technical issues]] basically went to Miss Fairweather.
* DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife: In "Ryan's Destiny", Ryan tells his father that he's leaving Mariner Bay to find out who he really is. By the end of the episode, Ryan eventually decides to return to the city and help his friends.
* {{Determinator}}: Ryan doesn't let something like a painful and fatal curse slow him down for long.
* EvilLaugh: Much like Tommy's, in fact. Must be an evil Ranger thing.
* FuelMeterOfPower: The snake on Ryan's back, which moved closer to his neck the more he used his Ranger powers.
* HeelFaceTurn: He starts off as Diabolico's minion, but once he realizes he's been lied to, he quits. A brief bit of soul-searching leads him to join the Rangers.
* ImYourWorstNightmare: Ryan's response when Dana asks him who he is in "From Deep in the Shadows".
* {{Irony}}: He has no Sentai counterpart despite the fact he is Dana's brother. In ''[=GoGoV=]'', all the Rangers are siblings.
* LongLostRelative: He's Dana's brother.
* MarkOfTheBeast: Was given a deadly snake tattoo by Diabolico during his HeelFaceTurn.
* MetallicMotifs: Ryan snuck into Lightspeed Rescue stole an experimental Titanium Morpher was from the Aquabase. He used it to become the Titanium Ranger and try to destroy the Rangers. Diabolico had raised him to despise his father for not saving him, and Ryan was out for vengeance. When he learned the truth - that his father did indeed love him, and did everything he could to try and save him, Ryan left Diabolico's side and joined Lightspeed as the Titanium Ranger.
* MrFanservice: Complete with more than one scene where he conveniently goes shirtless.
* OhCrap: He has this moment when he realizes that one of the feathers he gave to a young boy is about to explode at sunset during the finale of "Ryan's Destiny".
* PoorCommunicationKills: As someone raised by the demons, Ryan knows more about them than anyone. He just never bothers telling anyone that, say, Diabolico wasn't the demons' head honcho (though, to be fair, he believed Queen Bansheera to have been destroyed until she appeared halfway through the season).
* TheQuietOne: Shares the position of character with least dialogue with Chad.
* RealLifeWritesThePlot: The reason he only appeared in a handful of episodes in the second half of the season was because it was starting to become too expensive to shoot new U.S. exclusive footage with the Titanium Ranger each episode.
* ReportsOfMyDeathWereGreatlyExaggerated: Everyone thought he died in the car crash. Except for Captain Mitchell, [[spoiler:who remembers watching in horror as Diabolico's spirit comes in to save Ryan from falling to his death from the cliff -- only to raise him so that he would fight against his father and sister]].
* TheSixthRanger: The first one to be exclusive to the American series.
* StoryBreakerPower: Ryan was powerful enough to take on three monsters ''at the same time'' [[note]]monsters whom the core five Rangers struggled with when fighting them one at a time[[/note]]. Even by Sixth Ranger standards, this is impressive. It's no surprise that Diabolico immediately tries to have him taken out of commission once he officially switched to the good guys' side.
* SwissArmyWeapon: His Titanium Laser is both a gun and an axe.
* TooDumbToLive: When he and his father were talking, Ryan got angry and rushed him. They happened to be right next to a very steep cliff at the time. Had his father not caught onto a convenient tree root, and had Ryan not had his morpher, at least one of them would've died. Then again, Ryan was filled with rage, fed by Diabalico's lies.

!!The Zords
[[folder: Lightspeed Rescue Zords]]
!!Lightspeed Rescue Zords/Lightspeed Megazord
The Rangers initial Zords. Aside from forming the Megazord, the Lightspeed Rescue Zords are used for emergency situations.
----
* ArmCannon: There are two spray cannons from the Ladder Arms which fire either foam or lasers.
* AwesomePersonnelCarrier: Med Rescue 5 can carry civilian vehicles to clear roads or transport them to safety.
* BigBadassRig:
** Pyro Rescue 1 and Aqua Rescue 2 are both fire truck themed Zords with different abilities. Pyro Rescue 1 is based on a ladder truck while Aqua Rescue 2 is based on a water tanker truck.
** Haz Rescue 4 is based on a hazmat truck.
* CombiningMecha: Five Resuce Zords that combine into the Lightspeed Megazord. Alternatively, Aqua Rescue 2 can combine with the Haz Rescue 4 and Med Rescue 5 to form the Hydro Mode, a pair of walking legs that is used as fire control.
* CoolSword: It wields the Lightspeed Megazord Saber, which is formed from the insignia on it's waist.
* ExtendableArms: Thanks to Pyro Rescue 1 forming the upper body, the Lightspeed Megazord can perform attacks with it's Ladder Arms.
* FinishingMove: Once the Saber is ignited, the Lightspeed Megazord slashes at the Demon.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Destroyed in ''Rise of the Super Demons'']].
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Rail Rescues]]
!!Rail Rescue Zords/Supertrain Megazord
A set of train Zords that carry the Zords into battle. Later, Ms. Fairweather upgraded them to form the Supertrain Megazord.
----
* AwesomeButImpractical: While it's larger and more powerful than the Zords it carries, the Supertrain Megazord requires a lot of power to operate, and overloads would often harm the Rangers. That is, until Ms. Fairweather stabilized the Megazord's power output.
* AwesomePersonnelCarrier: A set of train Zords that carry the Lightspeed Rescue Zords into Mariner Bay. Later, they carry the Omega Zords.
* CombiningMecha: Five train Zords that combine into one gigantic Megazord.
* CoolTrain: Its a set of train Zords that form into a gigantic Megazord. How much cooler can it get?!
* FinishingMove: ''Turbine Supercharge'': After the train-head-formed weapons go onto the Megazord's fists, it charges the weapons with energy before pressing against the Demon with energy blasts from Rail Rescue 1's train head and a barrage of missiles from Rail Rescue 2's train head.
* GatlingGood: The Gatling Blaster on the Supertrain Megazord's right shoulder fires like there is no tomorrow.
* HumongousMecha: Out of all the Megazords the Lightspeed Rangers have, this one is the biggest.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Destroyed in ''Rise of the Super Demons'']].
* MacrossMissileMassacre: On the Megazord's left shoulder, it features a missile launcher that fires missiles. It also stores freeze missiles.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Max Solarzord]]
!!Max Solarzord
The Titanium Ranger's Zord.
----
* AscendedExtra: Went from a sentient auxiliary Mecha in ''[=GoGo=] V'', to Ryan's personal Zord.
* AttackReflector: Thanks to the solar panels on the Megazord's body, the Lightspeed Solarzord can absorb the Demon's attacks and use it for the finishing move.
* CoolStarship: The Max Solarzord's secondary vehicle form is a shuttle.
* CoolTrain: The Max Solarzord's default form is a bullet train.
* DemotedToExtra:
** In ''[=GoGo=] V'', Liner Boy was a sentient Mecha that spoke with the team and had a bond with them. Here it is relegated to a non-sentient Zord to Ryan.
** Once Ryan leaves the team, the Max Solarzord is relegated to support or when the Rangers need the Lightspeed Solarzord.
* FinishingMove:
** '''Max Solarzord''': With its shield, the Max Solarzord fires a barrage of lasers to destroy a Demon.
** '''Lightspeed Solarzord''': At full power, the Lightspeed Solarzord fires a massive barrage of energy lasers at the Demon until it explodes.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Destroyed in ''Rise of the Super Demons'']].
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Its main weapon is a shield that has a blaster attached to the front.
* MechaExpansionPack: The Max Solarzord can combine with the Lightspeed Megazord to form the Lightspeed Solarzord.
* ThePowerOfTheSun: The Max Solarzord, and by extension the Lightspeed Solarzord, is fully powered by the sun thanks to the solar panels coated on its body.
* TransformingMecha: The Max Solarzord can transform from bullet train, to shuttle, to Warrior Mode.
* UnusualWeaponMounting: The two main cannons of the Lightspeed Solarzord are attached to the Megazord's hips.

!!Omega Zords/Omega Megazord
The Ranger's third set of Zords. They are based on spaceships.
----
* BoomStick: The Omega Staff is a spear that fires a missile at its opponent, which is usually step one in the finisher.
* CombiningMecha: Five spaceship Zords that combine into one Megazord. They can also combine into the Omega Crawler, which is usually step one of the Omega Megazord formation.
* CoolStarship: Unlike the Rescue Zords, the Omega Zords are based on spaceships.
* DeathByAdaptation: [[spoiler:Unlike Victory Mars, the Omega Megazord does not survive at the end of the season.]]
* FinishingMove:
** '''Omega Megazord''': After firing the Omega Missile at the Demon, the Omega Megazord destroys them with two energy slashes.
** '''Orion Omega Megazord''': With the combined power of the Lights of Orion, the Omega Megazord slashes at the Demon with the Omega Staff and the Galaxy Megazord Saber.
* GrandTheftMe: [[spoiler:In ''The Fate of Lightspeed'', Jinxer and a group of Batlings stole the Omega Megazord and used it to set up the ritual site for the Skull Cavern to rise onto Mariner Bay.]]
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Destroyed in ''The Fate of Lightspeed'']].
* SuperMode: In ''Trakeena's Revenge'', the Lost Galaxy Rangers used the Lights of Orion to empower the Omega Megazord with the Power-Up Mode Armor the Galaxy Megazord used. It also wields the Galaxy Megazord Saber alongside the Omega Staff.

[[folder: Lifeforce Megazord]]
!!Lifeforce Megazord
The Ranger's fourth Megazord. It was created with the ability to draw from the Rangers' life force to increase its power.
----
* AdaptationalContextChange In ''[=GoGo=] V'', the Max Victory Robo Black Version was powered by the team's mental energy. Here, it's their LifeEnergy.
* AscendedExtra: Max Victory Robo Black Version appeared in one episode of ''[=GoGo=] V'', which was the ''last'' episode. Here, the Lifeforce Megazord appears in three episodes.
* AwesomeButImpractical: The Lifeforce Megazord was potentially more powerful than any Megazord the Rangers' have, but its power source is to draw from the Rangers' LifeEnergy, making it a weapon of very last resort. The Rangers are forced to use it when all of the other Megazords were either destroyed or disabled in the final fight against Diabolico and Olympius.
* CoolSword: Its main weapon is a red and blue repaint of the Lightspeed Megazord Saber.
* DeathByAdaptation: [[spoiler:Unlike Max Victory Robo Black Version, the Lifeforce Megazord does not survive at the end of the season.]]
* FinishingMove: After the Rangers charge their life energy into the saber, the Megazord delivers a devastating double golden energy slash at the Demon.
* GrandTheftMe: [[spoiler:In ''The Fate of Lightspeed'', a group of Batlings stole the Lifeforce Megazord and used it to demolish the Aquabase.]]
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Destroyed in ''The Fate of Lightspeed'']].
* LifeEnergy: How the Lifeforce Megazord works. It draws from the Rangers' life energy to increase its power.
* PaletteSwap: The Lifeforce Megazord is basically the Lightspeed Solarzord in black and gold wielding the Lightspeed Megazord's sword in red and blue. Though apparently, it cannot detach into separate Zords.

[[quoteright:256:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ronrogge1_lr.jpg]]
-->'''Portrayed by:''' Ron Roggé
-->'''Voiced by:''' César Soto (Latin American Spanish dub), Creator/MasashiHirose (Japanese dub)
The captain and head of the Lightspeed Aquabase, Mitchell served as the Rangers mentor and occasional mission commander. At one point in his life, he was a former firefighter, and at one point, [[spoiler:he rescued Carter as a boy]].

* BigGood: Leader of Lightspeed Rescue.
* TheCaptain: He serves as the Aquabase's captain.
* HeroicBSOD: He goes through a brief one during "The Fate of Lightspeed" when Jinxer uses the Lifeforce Megazord to destroy Lightspeed Aquabase.
* RetiredBadass: He used to be a firefighter. In "A Face from the Past" he demonstrates that, despite being retired, he still got the skills for the job. [[spoiler:He was the firefighter who saved Carter as a kid and inspired him to become a firefighter himself.]]
* RuggedScar: Captain Mitchell has a prominent scar to the left of his nose, which helps emphasize his status as a veteran rescue worker who constantly braves danger.
* SkewedPriorities: He made a couple of errors in judgement early on, but [[CharacterDevelopment he made up for it]].
* TeamDad: Literally and figuratively. He's Dana and Ryan's father, and was a major inspirational and guidance figure for Carter in particular.
* TheOnlyWayTheyWillLearn: At times, it can be a bit frustrating when he doesn't always give straight answers, especially when he is being vague. But in the end, he does want the Rangers to learn and to think for themselves. Notable examples:
** In "A Matter of Trust", rather than letting her go with the rest of the team on a mission, he sends Dana on an seemingly unimportant errand to pick up a fishing buddy of his. Naturally, she gets mad since he doesn't explain why right then and there. But then... [[spoiler: perhaps it was best that she and the team find out later that his friend was the one who was actually carrying the real fuel cell -- while her friends were guarding (albeit, unknowingly at first) a decoy. Why, you might ask? Well, since he planned for the other four Rangers to act as distractions, to help buy time, they had to do their job very well to pull it off; and to do that, they had to act naturally (by ''thinking'' they have the real fuel cell) and as if they are guarding the real thing -- that way, they don't look suspicious. Think of it as being akin to EnforcedMethodActing. And boy were Vypra and her henchmen in for a surprise when they find out too late that they've been chasing after the wrong car]]. More importantly, however, Dana learns that sometimes you just have to go with your gut when some answers just aren't always obvious or when some things just seem to defy logic.
** In, "Trial By Fire", Carter gets the fastest time on the stopwatch but the lowest score during a training session. He begins to question his abilities as a Ranger and starts losing confidence. Later in the episode, Carter gets mad at first when he is told, without explanation, to put out the fire first before rescuing a kid. Turns out, [[spoiler: there was some combustible gas in the building, which could have exploded and killed a lot of people]]. He then goes back to re-examine his training spots, where he [blindly] shot targets and sees that a lot of his shots had landed dangerously on, you guessed it, [[spoiler:combustible materials]]. The advice he was given after the training session that sometimes the obvious decision is the wrong one suddenly made sense. Overconfidence seems to have gotten to Carter for a while there and it almost impaired his good judgement. From then on, and thanks in part to Captain Mitchell, we see Carter consistently keeping a cool head for most of the season.
*** There is also the fact that he got on his case because Carter is a ''FIREFIGHTER'' and while blasters are not exactly on a firefighter's list of tools, a one-second scan of the surrounding area should have hinted that [[spoiler:combustible materials]] were even in the vicinity and could cause even more damage, something he should have been ''trained'' for.

The head scientist of Lightspeed and the main creator of the Lightspeed Ranger powers, weapons, and Zords.
----
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: Downplayed. She's generally professional without being cold... unless she's talking to her would-be suitor, Joel.
* BerserkButton: Do not insult her craft. Joel learned the hard way when they first met.
-->''The next time mister "Sky Cowboy" wants to overload his engines and explode, this "dilatron computer geek" will JUST LET HIM!''
* DecompositeCharacter: In ''[=GoGoV=]'' Professor Tatsumi was both TheMentor and the inventor of the team's technology. Here, these roles are split between Captain Mitchell and Miss Fairweather.
** Miss Fairweather also takes on Kyoko's role as "[[WrenchWench woman who helps fix the team's tech]]"; as stated above, Kyoko's direct counterpart here was Nancy Cooper and her (temporary) status as SixthRanger went to Ryan.
* NumberTwo: She serves as Mitchell's second-in-command at the Aquabase.
* OfficialCouple: She gets together with Joel towards the end of the series. They are married when we next see them in ''Time Force''.
%%* SexySecretary: Of Captain Mitchell.

[[folder: General]]
!! The Demons
These monsters formerly overran the planet. They were imprisoned ages ago, but have returned to take back what they think is their rightful territory. They also seek to restore their leader, Queen Bansheera, who is trapped in a an ethereal state.
----
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Power Ranger's first aversion; this is the first time supernatural Sentai villains stayed supernatural instead of being changed to aliens.
* AdaptationalWimp: Whereas the Psyma Clan could only be destroyed by countering their negative energy with positive energy, the Demons can be depowered by water.
* EnemyCivilWar: Diabolico's death empowers Impus, turning him into Olympius. He quickly ends up at odds with his comrades, as they fail to restore his mother Bansheera. From there, a lot of backstabbing happens.
* SealedEvilInACan: They were initially sealed inside a crypt in an Egyptian desert 5,000 years ago. Unfortunately, the Demons were accidently released by a group of nomads mistaking the crypt for a treasure chest.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: While the demons were a family (save for Jinxer's counterpart, who was still their servant) in ''[=GoGoV=]'', ''Lightspeed Rescue'' depicts only Bansheera and Impus/Olympius as blood relatives. Whereas the counterparts of Diabolico, Loki, Vypra and Impus/Olympius were all siblings (as a foil to the Ranger siblings) and the children of Bansheera's counterpart.

-->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/DianeSalinger, Rebeca Manríquez (base voice, Latin American Spanish dub), Isabel Romo (eps. 37-40, Latin American Spanish dub), Yumi Fukamizu (Japanese dub)

The evil matriarch of the demons who directed them into her bidding.
----
* AdaptationalNiceGirl: And that's only because none of her subordinates she eventually executes (sans Olympius) are her children.
* AbusiveParent: Who else would think that letting their own child rot in this season's equivalent to hell was a deserved punishment for failing too many times?
* AdaptationalBadass: Her [[Series/KyukyuSentaiGoGoV counterpart, Grandienne]], was (at least physically) destroyed by the [=GoGoV=] before the series finale. Instead of her, a revived Salamandes and Zylpheeza served as the final opponents (though they were controlled by Grandienne's spirit during that fight; [[TheArtifact this explains why]] [[AdaptationExplanationExtrication her face appears to explode in space following the defeat of the super demons here]]). In ''Lightspeed Rescue'', Bansheera uses what would have been the finishing blow to escape and outlives the final battle with Diabolico and Olympius, and she's only stopped when [[spoiler:Diabolico's vengeful spirit drops her into a pit of bloodthirsty monsters that completely overwhelm her.]]
* AdaptationalJerkass: Not that Grandiene wasn't just as vile, but Bansheera lacks the paranoia of being betrayed as a motivation of her cruelty and at least Grandiene didn't absorb her own daughter to get her OneWingedAngel form, nor planned to unleash a horde of demons into the world.
* BadBoss: One of the worst bosses in ''Power Rangers'' history and the first that never subverts it in any way shape or form. From the way she forces Diabolico to [[spoiler: ''kill'' Loki to her [[DevourTheDragon consuming Vypra]] to fully reform, it's clear that she doesn't give one errant ''fuck'' about her subjects, her own son included. [[KarmicDeath It's no wonder the last we see of her is her being brutalized by the demons in the Tomb of Forever.]]]]
* BigBad: The main antagonist of the series.
* BigNo: [[spoiler: She screams this as Diabolico helped free Red Ranger from her grasp by blasting her back into the tomb.]]
* BodyHorror: Her return to corporeal form doesn't entirely succeed, leaving her as a deformed blob. She actually takes it pretty well, all things considered.
* BrokenPedestal: Diabolico swears off loyalty to her after [[spoiler:she forced him to shoot at Loki in an attempt to destroy the Rangers]].
* DarkActionGirl: While less active in combat than her followers, she's the most powerful demon in the show.
* TheDreaded: Ryan expresses restrained terror when Bansheera's spirit makes her presence known to the rangers, claiming she's worse than 10 Diabolicos.
* EvilLaugh: Oh she definitely has one, and it's just as vile as the rest of her personality.
* FateWorseThanDeath: [[spoiler: In the finale, Diabolico's spirit [[DraggedOffToHell dropped Bansheera into the Shadow World, where she was last seen getting beaten to a pulp by legions of demons for all eternity]]]].
* FauxAffablyEvil: When not being an abusive boss, she can talk to enemy or subordinate alike civilly, though clearly insincere and cold hearted inwards. Just count how many times she formally refers to Impus/Olympius as "My Son" when she speaks to and about him and her complimentary "good work" when she saw that he escaped from the Shadow World and managed to capture Diabolico when she cruelly dismissed his fate earlier and you can tell that she's only kind to him so long as he stays in her good graces.
* FemmeFatalons: Gained these in her final form.
* ForTheEvulz: The finale reveals her goal in building her palace is for a ritual where she will release an army of monsters on the world and watch the destruction that ensues.
* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: She's the Queen of the Demons and is so cruel, she makes all the other demons feel like angels by comparison.
* HateSink: Before her, the main villains of Power Rangers, while not above mistreating their underlings, at least have some form of laughable and redeemable traits in their otherwise evil personalities. Bansheera is the first BigBad to defy any good quality, going to great lengths to be reviled in many ways, especially when it comes to her treatment towards her demons. [[spoiler:(Including her own son)]] Her being sent down the demon chest by a reformed Diabolico and beaten up eternally by the demons is well deserved.
* HiddenVillain: In her early appearances. None of the heroes besides Ryan even knew she existed before she revealed herself to them.
* ItsAllAboutMe: In case it isn't clear, anyone who is not named Queen Bansheera and anything not related to the restoration of her palace is of zero concern.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: There had been some instances where it seemed that for all her evil, she at least treats her son Impus right, to the point where she threatens to (and actually does after his first death) give him Diabolico's Star Power. However, her true feelings for her son are revealed after constant failures. When Olympius is trapped in the Shadow World by Diabolico, it seems like she's angry at him for it, but once Diabolico confirms it, cue the EvilLaugh.
* KnightOfCerebus: Unlike [[IneffectualSympatheticVillain previous]] [[LaughablyEvil villains]] in the franchise, NOTHING about her and what she does is PlayedForLaughs. Whenever she takes center stage, the comedy level instantly drops to zero.
* LackOfEmpathy: Even the other demons showed some form of concern for one another, while Bansheera treats all of her minions as pawns and not even her son being banished to the Shadow World caused any reaction other than a cruel laugh. They don't even like Olympius and yet even they're disturbed by this.
** This comes into play when [[spoiler: Diabolico's spirit arrives during the finale. She assumes he's there to help her despite the fact that she forced him to kill his best friend Loki and has generally treated him and every demon not named "Bansheera" like garbage. He isn't.]]
* MeaningfulName: Is capable of actually emitting a sonic wail like a banshee (though she only does this once). She even laughs like one too.
* NightmareFace: In her true form, she has a demon-like face that makes her horrifying.
* NoNonsenseNemesis: Her first action on returning was to try and wipe out Mariner Bay with a tidal wave. Only Ryan stopping the summoning ceremony foiled it.
* OneWingedAngel: She becomes this after absorbing Vypra near the end of the series.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Justified. She doesn't do anything directly against the Rangers until the very end of the season, but it's because she can't. The Rangers interrupted the demons' ritual to bring her back, leaving her in a deformed, far less powerful body. In fact, the moment she almost came into being during the ritual, she very nearly destroyed the city with a tidal wave as the ''first'' thing she did. It is not until she absorbs Vypra in "Wrath of the Queen" that she regains her full body and powers, and it is then she begins to take a far more active role in achieving her goals.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: If the ritual to restore her hadn't been foiled, she would've destroyed the city within moments of ''manifesting''.
* ShouldersOfDoom: She has what look like masses of crystals serving as shoulders in her final form.
* TheSociopath: Being the first BigBad to be this, she has an extreme lack of care for anyone except herself, seeing her minions and even her own son only as expendable pawns. She doesn't even bat an eyelid to their deaths , yet expects her subjects to be loyal and grateful to her while giving nothing in return.
* TheUnfettered: Unlike her underlings (even her own son has positive traits like genuine love for her), all that matters to her is her palace and the chaos and destruction that she intends to unleash, and will gladly sacrifice all of them to achieve it.
* ToCreateAPlaygroundForEvil: Unlike past villains, she has no interest in conquest. Her reason for wanting to create her palace is for a ritual where she would summon all of the monsters from the Shadow World so she can witness the destruction that would ensue on Earth.
* TookALevelInJerkass: After returning, she's mostly reasonable for someone stuck in a horrifying half-form. It takes her son failing a few times before she ''really'' starts getting nasty.
* VileVillainSaccharineShow: Considering how the ''Power Rangers'' franchise is known for its over-the-top cheesiness, she really stands out as a particularly depraved baddie. Next to [[Series/PowerRangersRPM Venjix]], [[Series/PowerRangersMysticForce Octomus]], and [[Film/PowerRangers2017 the reboot film version of Rita Repulsa]], she's one of the most horrible villains ever seen in the brand.
* TheManBehindTheMan: For Diabolico. In fact the Rangers didn't even know Diabolico ''wasn't'' the BigBad until she reveals herself and Ryan revealed who she really was.
* YouHaveFailedMe: This is her reasoning for taking Vypra's life energy, as well as her treatment towards her other minions. Plus, she felt Olympius deserved being stuck in the Shadow World as such.
-->'''Bansheera:''' Vypra, you have failed me too many times! As punishment, I will take your life energy! ''I should have done this long ago.''
** She nearly pulls this on Jinxer when he explains he cannot create any more monsters until he explains he attached a Batling card to the Lifeforce Megazord that would allow an army of Batlings to invade the Aquabase. She legitimately compliments him for his cunning plan.

A devil-like demon and the leader of the initial demon line up. His mission was to attack Mariner Bay with demons before Queen Bansheera's arrival.
----
* AdaptationExpansion: Diabolico gets more screentime after his first death and eventual resurrection (via being pulled out from the Shadow World by Loki and Vypra).
* AdaptationalHeroism: After being brought BackFromTheDead, Diabolico begins to use NobleDemon and KickTheSonOfABitch methods, such as imprisoning Olympius in the Shadow World in an attempt to reclaim the Star Power, giving Carter the Ancient Key, and as a spirit, dragged Bansheera to the Shadow World so the Demons can maul her to death. His Sentai counterpart, while sympathetic and redeemable, doesn't get to do much heroism.
* AvengingTheVillain: An inversion. He honestly believed Bansheera would avenge him after the Rangers killed him the first time, even after she'd already proven she didn't give a damn about him. He then decides to avenge Loki against Bansheera, but at this point he isn't much a villain himself.
* BackFromTheDead: Thanks to Vypra, he gets resurrected.
* BigNo: Diabolico yells one when Loki dies in his arms.
* CurbStompBattle: When he finally does face the Rangers himself he inflicts one of the worst beatdowns on a Megazord that didn't involve totalling it, blasting a hole in the Super Train Megazord.
* DeadpanSnarker: He has his moments of making snide remarks.
* TheDogBitesBack: Bansheera's treatment causes him to start pushing back.
** After Bansheera forces him to kill Loki and then uses his powers in an attempt to kill the Rangers, Diabolico tells Carter how to save the rest of the Rangers.
** After getting snapped out of his brainwashing, he saves Carter from an attack by Olympius. In his own words, Diabolico hated Bansheera far more than he hates the Rangers and only wanted to see her lose.
** In the finale, he shows up as a ghost when Bansheera is an attempting a TakingYouWithMe on Carter, and blasts her down into the Shadow Dimension, laughing as he has finally gotten his revenge and got to see Bansheera assaulted by the monsters she was trying to free.
* TheDragon: He's Queen Bansheera's second-in-command.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: As evil as Diabolico is, he's certainly not devoid of redeeming qualities.
** He would never turn against his comrades unless they turn against him first which is evidenced when Bansheera betrays them. He shows extreme loyalty to Loki and Vypra, the two who have stuck by him throughout the course of the series.
** He along with the other demons are taken with shock when Bansheera tells him she doesn't care about her son, Olympus' fate.
** He hates the Rangers and Impus/Olympius, but when Bansheera [[spoiler:causes Loki's death]], he ends up hating her more.
* FakeBoss: The Rangers thought he was the true leader of the demons when it looks like he's gone for good, they thought wrong. Interestingly, it parallels how they thought the first monster they fought was him too.
* GoOutWithASmile: Of a sort due to the limits of his costume. [[spoiler: The last time we see him, his spirit flies down into the Shadow Dimension laughing and content since he's brought Queen Bansheera tumbling down with him to be brutalized by her mistreated subjects.]]
* TheHeavy: He drives the plot for the first half of the season, due to Bansheera's imprisonment.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: That Star Power he was so fond of got turned against him when he blasted the Lightspeed Solarzord and it absorbed all of and sent it right back at him.
* MagicStaff: Wields a big one. He drops it when he dies.
* ManipulativeBastard: He got Ryan Mitchell on his side against the Rangers by convincing him his father was heartless towards him when in reality he tried made a deal with Diabolico to save him.
* NobleDemon: Literally. He is a demon but has some admirable qualities, most notably his loyalty to those he considers his allies.
* NoNonsenseNemesis:
** When Ryan leaves and joins the Rangers, what does Diabolico do? Wait a couple of episodes while he mops up D's last monsters? No. The minute Ryan joins the Rangers, Diabolico gives him a fatal curse that came within inches of killing him.
** Then there's his fight with the Ranger's Megazords. Diabolico just unleashes everything he has at them, blowing a hole straight through the Supertrain Megazord, and sending the Rescue Megazord through ''several'' buildings.
* NoSell: At first, nothing the Rangers had could so much as scratch him. Not even the Megazords so much as hurt him.
-->'''Diabolico:''' All you've done with your pathetic attacks is make me ''angry''.
* OneWingedAngel: Gets forcibly transformed into a more powerful form in his final battle against the Rangers.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Like all traditional villainous leaders in Power Rangers. He eventually gets off it when the Rangers kill the Troika monster and spends the first half of the fight handing them their asses.
* RedemptionEqualsDeath: Subverted, in that he could never complete his HeelFaceTurn before his death, as he was brainwashed by Bansheera into fighting the Rangers, who were forced to destroy him. Instead, he fully redeems himself after his death, when his spirit helps the Rangers defeat Bansheera.
* RocketPunch: Possesses a similar ability -- he can fire off his own hand at a target, then immediately catch up and reattach. Sadly, this was only seen once, during his fight with Olympius from "In the Freeze Zone".
* SealedEvilInACan: He and the other demons were imprisoned in a tomb before being set free.
* ThereCanOnlyBeOne: The Star Power can only belong to one demon, and Queen Bansheera can take it from him. Fear of losing this is what motivates his attacks on the Rangers, and to his first death.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: Unlike his Sentai Counterpart, Diabolico is not related to his comrades, nor Queen Bansheera.
* VillainousRescue: Twice. First in ''Rise of the Super Demons'', when Carter tries to help him after he's sent flying by Olympius, Diabolico throws him out of the way of an attack by Olympius, which wounds him fatally. As a ghost, he pulls off in the finale when Bansheera is attempting to drag Carter down into the Shadow World, he returns as a ghost and blasts Carter free, causing Bansheera to fall into the Shadow World herself.
* WouldHurtAChild: He almost killed Impus to protect his job. The only reason he didn't was because Jinxer happened upon him.

Queen Bansheera's infant son who was under the care of the other demons. After Diabolico's death, he inherited the former's Star Power and matured into Olympius.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: In the Sentai, it took several episodes for Drop to become Salamandes, spending time in a cocoon and as a human kid with fire powers. Here the cocoon hatches more-or-less immediately after Impus gets the Star Power. Subverted somewhat given we never see any attack powers as Impus and only fought after his transformation.
* AdaptationExpansion: Olympius didn't get killed after fighting the Lightspeed Rangers in their Megazords.
* AdaptationalJerkass: Olympius tries to kill Loki and Vypra when Bansheera starts to [[GreenEyedMonster favor them more]]. Salamandes would never bother trying to kill Kobolda and Denus (though he did kill Zylpheeza in the penultimate episode of ''[=GoGoFive=]'').
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Definitely as Impus (being the baby son of Queen Bansheera) and cared for by Jinxer, Vypra, Loki and Diabolico (though Diabolico and in some instances Loki are not so keen on him) Jinxer and Vypra were loyal and loving towards Impus. However once he becomes Olympius, Vypra loses respect for him. Though even aging into Olympius, he seems physically around the same age as the Rangers, maybe even younger, compared to the ancient Demons.
* CastAsAMask: After he captures four of the rangers in "Olympius Ascends", he uses their likeness to become a duplicate to infiltrate the aquabase. As such, the actors who played the rangers were used for Olympius' disguises.
* TheDragon: He is the main minion to his mother, even having a dragon theme.
* DisappearedDad: His father, assuming he has one (for all we know, Bansheera might have created him on her own asexually), is never acknowledged.
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: Even though said mama doesn't love him back. In fact his genuine love for his mother is much more noticeable than his Japanese counterpart that he seems to love his mother genuinely.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: Impus starts out as a harmless demon baby. Mere ''minutes'' after Diabolico dies, he absorbs his powers and becomes the WarriorPrince Olympius. He then singlehandedly routs the Rangers; the only reason he can't finish them off is because his underdeveloped powers [[PowerIncontinence go haywire]].
* TheHeavy: In the second half of the season.
* {{Jerkass}}: He isn't nice at all to his comrades, even to the point of trying to kill Loki and Vypra and not objecting at all when Bansheera brainwashes Diabolico after he defects. The only ones he's not a jerk to are his mother and (sometimes) Jinxer.
* MoralityPet: At first it seemed like he was this to his mother Bansheera who praised him to the Rangers as her heir in comparison to calling Diabolico unworthy and gave the Star Power to him when the yellow demon bit it the first time. However, it turns out that he was never a loved one to Bansheera at all, seeing him as a pawn at best and a failure at worst.
* OneWingedAngel: Twice in the course of the series. First, he manages to magically link himself to the power supply of the Aquabase, transforming into a more menacing version of his regular form. The second time, he is forcibly transformed into a giant dragon by Bansheera.
* PetTheDog: When Olympus escapes from the Shadow World, he takes The Gatekeeper with him rather than abandoning or absorbing him.
** He at one point genuinely thanks Jinxer for his loyalty.
* PlotRelevantAgeUp: He quickly ages from infant Impus to adult Olympius, when Diabolico bites it.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: He's a villain whose eyes glow red.
* TheRival: He has a rivalry with Diabolico
* ScaledUp: Becomes a dragon in his final episode.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Of the "dies later" variety; Salamandes actually was destroyed in the Megazord battle and resurrected later, instead of the NonLethalKO that Olympius got. Both were KilledOffForReal at the end, though.
* UndyingLoyalty: He is completely devoted to his mother, and his main goal is [[WellDoneSonGuy staying in her good graces]].
* UnwittingPawn: Unlike the others, he never realizes that his mother sees him just as expendable as her unrelated servants.
* WarriorPrince: Once he ages to Olympius, he becomes more active in combat.
* WeaksauceWeakness: Like all of his kin, to water. Shortly after getting the star power, Carter shoves him into the pool of water located in Aquabase's science lab. It takes away most of his powers, forcing him to rely on the usual Rangers villain tactics.

A fierce and loyal soldier to Diabolico.
----
* AdaptationalDumbass: Yet another Sentai [[TheBrute brute]] who gets the DumbMuscle treatment.
* AlasPoorVillain: It's very tragic to see him be used as a pawn and tossed aside by Bansheera.
* TheBrute: When in battle, he's more about brute force than strategy.
* ChildHater: Loki really doesn't like Impus. Though to be fair, he's not too fond of him when he becomes Olympius either.
* DiedInYourArmsTonight: He dies in Diabolico's arms after taking a blast meant for the Rangers.
* DumbMuscle: He's not the brightest demon. Case in point: when Olympius offers a truce, Vypra is smart enough to question it while Loki blithely accepts it. Naturally, [[ISurrenderSuckers it's a trap]], and the two are imprisoned.
* {{Jerkass}}: He's not too fond of Impus or Olympius, and is pretty vocal about it. That said he is loyal to Diabolico and was genuine friends with him and Vypra.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: He and Vypra decided to revive Diabolico after Olympius tried getting rid of them.
* PretentiousPronunciation: While it's spelled the same as his mythological namesake, Loki's name is ''pronounced'' as "Lo-Kai".
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: He's named after Loki, the Norse god of mischief. Doubles as an IronicName, as while the Loki from the myths was known for his cleverness and cunning, this Loki is more of a dumb brute.
* UndyingLoyalty: He's incredibly loyal to Diabolico, and vice-versa.
* UnwittingPawn: He was nothing more than a pawn in Bansheera's plans, at best. At worst, he was just collateral damage.
* VillainousFriendship: Has one with Diabolico, enough that Bansheera getting him killed as collateral prompted Diabolico's HazyFeelTurn.

-->'''Portrayed by:''' Jennifer Yen
-->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/RocioPrado (Latin American Spanish dub), Harumi Asai (Japanese dub)

The only humanoid demon of the main group that was adept in demonic magic.
----
* AdaptationExpansion: Takes over Jinxer's role as the returning villain in the "Time for Lightspeed" crossover special. This is because Jinxer was killed off near the end of ''Lightspeed Rescue'', while Pierre survived in the FinalBattle of ''[=GoGoFive=]'' and would later come back in ''Timeranger VS [=GoGoFive=]'' as the returning villain.
* AdaptationalWimp: Unlike Denus, who regularly fought [=GoGoV=] in hand-to-hand combat, Vypra doesn't actively fight the Lightspeed Rangers that much, preferring to use her Vyprari whenever she does engage in battle.
* BadassDriver: Vypra uses a heavily armed dune buggy against the Rangers in one episode and is pretty good at outdriving them for a while.
* TheBaroness: Downplayed. She's clearly attractive and enjoys making the Rangers suffer, but doesn't try to seduce anyone. She shares more of the ruthlessness of the Rosa Klebb variety.
* ClassyCatBurglar: One episode has Vypra (wearing a ski mask and SpyCatsuit) stealing several crystals important to Bansheera's plot by cutting through an office building window, getting over a laser grid with some pulleys, and breaking into a safe.
* CleavageWindow: As seen on her armor.
* ChainmailBikini: Her top seems to emulate this, along with matching [[ImpossiblyCoolClothes chainmail leggings.]]
* ColdHam: Of the less common variety. She's obviously ''trying'' to overact, but doesn't quite pull it off.
* CombatStilettos: Vypra is never seen out of her high-heeled boots, and can fight fairly well in them.
* CoolCar: Her Vyprari in "Wheels of Destruction".
* DarkActionGirl: She's more active in combat than her queen.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: [[spoiler:Vypra meets her end when Bansheera absorbed her after one too many failures and would later be destroyed again by both the Lightspeed and Time Force Rangers in "Time for Lightspeed". 526* DragonLady: She resembles a young Asian woman and her armor has a wyvern/dragon theme.
* DullSurprise: Her attempts at hamming up are... lacking. The first time she actually emotes properly [[spoiler: [[KilledOffForReal is as Bansheera is consuming her.]]]]
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Vypra may hate Olympius, but when Bansheera makes it clear that she has no regard for her own son, she's taken aback.
* {{Expy}}: Of [[Series/MaskedRider Nefaria]], whereas they both villainesses who portrayed by Asian American actresses in the same points.
* {{Jerkass}}: Like Loki, she doesn't hold back when mocking Olympius for failing.
* MeaningfulName: Viper and Wyvern.
* MsFanservice: One of the more blatant cases in all of Power Rangers. Fans are still split [[DistractedByTheSexy on whether]] it [[IgnoreTheFanservice was effective.]] The show never plays up her looks.
* PlayingWithFire: A contrast to Denus's water demon status (since in ''Lightspeed Rescue'', the demons have a weakness towards water).
* SmugSnake: The only expression she seems capable of emoting is being smug.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The only female villain other than Queen Bansheera, who isn't active until the last four episodes. True to form, Vypra's not as powerful as her comrades but she's adept at manipulation; for instance, she uses Marina in a ploy to kill Chad.
* TokenHuman: [[DownplayedTrope More precisely]], Vypra is the only demon who looks remotely human.
* UndyingLoyalty: She's incredibly loyal to Diabolico.
* UnexplainedRecovery: [[spoiler:She digs herself out of a grave in ''Time Force'''s "Time for Lightspeed", even though her body was absorbed by Queen Bansheera. Unless the idea is that Bansheera was killed offscreen by the other demons and Vypra dug herself out of the underworld]].
* VitriolicBestBuds: Vypra often bickers with Loki, but they work well together, and she is quick to help him to his feet when Olympius knocks him down.

A demon-like servant for Queen Bansheera who was responsible for creating the demon monsters along with growing them.
----
* AdaptationExpansion: Inverted. He's replaced by Vypra as the returning villain in ''Time Force''.
* AscendedExtra: After all of Bansheera's main generals were defeated/killed, Jinxer became this thanks to the fact that he still had use [[spoiler:before he was destroyed along with the Omega Megazord.]]
* DastardlyWhiplash: He certainly has the mustache, the grin, the pointed nose, and the steampunk-style goggles. In "Olympius Unbound", he takes the form of a human hypnotist who plays this straight.
* EvilGenius: Much like [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Finster]], before him, he is the smartest of the bad guys. He comes up with schemes and revives defeated monsters.
* {{Expy}}: Of Finster from ''Mighty Morphin'', being the monster maker.
* HyperCompetentSidekick: Is this to Bansheera in the finale. His plan to stick a Batwing Card to the Lifeforce Megazord is what kicks off the finale and lets the Batwings invade the Aquabase, leading to its destruction. Afterwords he steals the nearly repaired Omega Megazord and uses it to set up for Bansheera's ritual.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: When the monsters are destroyed, he throws a card in their debris, chants an incantation, and brings them back to life as giants.
* RhymesOnADime: Tends to recite a rhyming couplet whenever using his cards.
* SpannerInTheWorks: He unwittingly prevented Diabolico from killing Impus.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Olympius. On multiple occasions, Jinxer has nursed a weakened Olympius back to health, thus he's the only one the demon prince trusts. He also stays on Bansheera's side even after she shows her lack of care towards him or any other demon.

A fire-themed demon, and the first one that attacked Mariner Bay.
----
* CanonForeigner: One of two monsters that appeared in this series that were original ''PR'' monsters.
* PaletteSwap: He's a minor repaint of Psycho Red's monster form.
* PlayingWithFire: His main ability, and one that would become recurring for the rest of the Demons.
* StarterVillain: He's the first monster fought by the Rangers. Interestingly, because he was spearheading the first attack on Earth the Rangers thought he was Diabolico when they first fought, only for Captain Mitchell to tell them after that it was instead just a servant of him.
* WolverineClaws: Has these to compensate for a lack of weaponry.

!!Magmavore
->'''Voiced by:''' Kim Strauss (1st Time)/David Lodge (2nd Time
A giant lava demon that came from a meteor the Demons summoned.
----
* AdaptationalLateAppearance: {{Downplayed}}. His ''[=GoGoV=]'' counterpart is the first demon to appear and fight the heroes, here he appears as the second monster after CanonForeigner Ghouligan took his spot in the first episode.
* BareFistedMonk: In his first appearance at least.
* TheBrute: A brutish Demon who spends most of his time giant.
* CameBackStrong: Was revived during ''Rising From Ashes'' by Queen Bansheera to fight with Trifire.
* CarryABigStick: When he was revived, he wielded a Magma Club. It was strong enough to break the Lightspeed Megazord's Saber in one swing.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: Magmavore was the second monster to fall to the Supertrain Megazord right after Trifire, having been destroyed by the turbine-supercharged Gatling Blasters. But in ''[=GoGoV=]'', it was the other way around as Magma Golem was destroyed by Grand Liner's standard weaponry and was the first of the duo to be destroyed.
* PlayingWithFire: Being lava-themed, he naturally had this ability.
* TheVoiceless: Usually only speaks in grunts and roars.

!!Quakemon
An earthquake-themed frog demon.
----
* TheBusCameBack: One of the demons that made a cameo in the Shadow World during ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' and ''Olympius Unbound''.
* DigAttack: True to his name, he can burrow deep underground and do a sneak attack on his enemies.
* EarthquakeMachine: He planned to destroy Mariner Bay with spikes.
* TheVoiceless: As with Magmavore, he only spoke in roars.

!!Whirlin
->'''Voiced by:''' John C. Hyke
A tornado-themed horned bat demon.
----
* BatOutOfHell: Almost literally, being a demonic bat monster.
* BlowYouAway: Has the ability to create tornadoes.
* PlayingWithFire: Becoming a bit of a theme about now, but Whirlin can shoot fireballs from his mouth.

!!Fireor
->'''Voiced by:''' Bob Papenbrook
A gargoyle-themed fire samurai demon that was sent to collect a power cell the Rangers were transporting.
----
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Has a flame sword on his right arm that can also shoot lasers.
* TheBusCameBack: One of the demons that made a cameo in the Shadow World during ''Sorcerer of the Sands''.
* PlayingWithFire: It's in his name. His strongest attack uses the power of the sun to his advantage.
* {{Samurai}}: Based on one.
* TechnicolorFire: Shows in ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' that he can shoot purple fire from his mouth.

!!Gold-Beaked Monster
->'''Voiced by:''' Neil Kaplin
A vampire bat demon.
----
* AdaptationalWimp: He went from a demon in ''[=GoGoV=]'' that was sent to turn the city's power into crystals, to a demon in ''Power Rangers'' that was sent to randomly attack Mariner Bay.
* DemotedToExtra: Went from having his own episode in ''[=GoGoV=]'' to sharing an episode with Elestomp below.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: In ''[=GoGoV=]'', he grew giant-sized and was destroyed by Victory Robo. In ''Power Rangers'', he was taken down by the Rescue Blasters.

* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: In ''[=GoGoV=]'', he grew giant-sized and was destroyed by Victory Robo. But in ''Power Rangers'', he was taken down by the Rescuebird in Unilaser mode.
* EarthquakeMachine: Can create earthquakes by stomping the ground.
* EyeLaser: Can shoot out lasers from his eyes.
* PlayingWithFire: As with every demon monster so far, he can create a large fire pillar to erupted from the ground by putting his trunk to the ground.
* {{Portmanteau}}: His name is the combination of elephant and stomp.
* RammingAlwaysWorks: His main method of attack.

->'''Voiced by:''' Eddie Frierson
A lightning-based skeletal demon.
----
* DemBones: Just look at him.
* {{Portmanteau}}: His name is the combination of strike and lightning.
* ShockAndAwe: All of his attacks were lightning-based.
* SpikesOfVillainy: He can shoot black magnetic spikes at his enemy, and use lightning to strike the spike to injure the Rangers.

!!Cyborg Rangers
A team of robotic replicas General [=McKnight=] made to replace the human Rangers.
----
* AntagonistTitle: "Cyborg Rangers."
* ChestBlaster: The devices on their chest are not just for decoration, they can be used to create an orange-colored energy ball.
* EvilKnockoff: Again, they were not created for evil purposes, but their grey colored boots and belts, along with the control devices on their chests and helmets make them stand out from the human Rangers.
* MadeOfIron: They each have a Platinum Alloy Skin on them, making it difficult to take them out by punching them. Of course, Chad did eventually bring his cyborg counterpart down with some strikes.
* PsychoRangers: They weren't this initially, but a lighting strike from Strikning fried their circuits, turning them into this trope.

!!Smogger
->'''Voiced by:''' Richard Steven Horvitz
A gas-themed demon.
----
* AdaptationalLateAppearance: His ''[=GoGoV=]'' counterpart appeared in the third episode, but here, he appeared in the eighth episode.
* DeadlyGas: His method of attacks for either travelling purposes, throwing gas-based balls against the Rangers, or creating explosive gas.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: Unlike his ''[=GoGoV=]'' counterpart, he did not grow giant-sized after being hit by the Lightspeed Cycle and Rescue Speeder combo.
* ShoutOut: In his fight against the Rangers, he shouts "Great balls of fire!" from What's up Mr. Magoo?.

!!Trifire
->'''Voiced by:''' Dave Mallow
A three-headed dragon demon that was sent to erupt Mount Jasmine.
----
* BigWhat: His reaction upon seeing the gigantic Supertrain Megazord.
* BodyHorror: When he's destroyed by the Supertrain, his body swells up from within before blowing apart with extreme force, presumably from the power overload the Supertrain was suffering from. (It should be noted [[{{Bowdlerize this was censored with a superimposed fireball]].)
* CameBackStrong: Was revived during ''Rising From Ashes'' by Queen Bansheera to fight with Magmavore.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: Trifire was the first monster to fall to the Supertrain Megazord right before Magmavore, having been destroyed by the Gatling Blasters. But in ''[=GoGoV=]'', it was the other way around as Hellgerus was destroyed by the Grand Liner's Grand Storm and was the second monster of the duo to be destroyed.
* DoubleWeapon: Wields a double-bladed sword after his revival.
* MultipleHeadCase: Has three heads.
* PlayingWithFire: Also [[BreathWeapon breathes fire]].
* TooDumbToLive: Deciding to charge at the gigantic Supertrain Megazord was... not the smartest idea.

!!Liztwin
->'''Voiced by:''' Archie Kao
A skeletal dinosaur/dragon-like demon with a dragon-like head for a right hand.
----
* TheBusCameBack: One of the demons that made a cameo in the Shadow World during ''Sorcerer of the Sands''.
* DemBones: Has this to evoke a fossil theme.
* EnergyAbsorption: Can do this through his claws.
* OneWingedAngel: His giant form is more monstrous than his ground form. [[note]] This was because in ''[=GoGoV=]'', there was a Golem Card that can grow a monster into the size of the Supertrain Megazord [[/note]]
* WolverineClaws: In his giant form at least, being used in place of his dragon head arm.

!!Demonite
->'''Voiced by:''' David Stenstrom
A knight-themed demon and one of the last three monsters Diabolico created.
----
* AdaptationExpansion: The Demonite Clone was an original idea ''Power Rangers'' had and did not appear in the Sentai.
* BarrierWarrior: Along with Falkar and Thunderon, they can create a barrier to defend from attacks.
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Has two swords on his arms in his giant form.
* MesACrowd: With a Mirror Card, Demonite can create a copy of himself
* MonsterKnight: Looks the part.
* OneWingedAngel: His giant form is more monstrous than his ground form.
* {{Portmanteau}}: His name is the combination of demon and knight.
* {{Synchronization}}: His clone is a part of him, so if one dies, then the other dies as well. Carter used this to his advantage by killing the original Demonite, killing the clone before he killed Ryan.
* WakeUpCallBoss: He, along with Falkar and Thunderon, were the toughest monsters the Rangers faced up until this point. In his destruction episode, it took not only Carter using both the Rescuebird and V-Lancer point-blank, but also both of their Megazords in the giant battle.

!!Thunderon
->'''Voiced by:''' Alonzo Bodden
A Viking-themed demon and one of the last three monsters Diabolico created.
----
* BarrierWarrior: Along with Demonite and Falkar, they can create a barrier to defend from attacks.
* TheBrute: The strongest of the trio.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: Thunderon died to the Max Solarzord's lasers, but in ''[=GoGoV=]'', Hades Dread Knight Guuru was put down for good by Grand Liner's Grand Storm after Liner Boy's (Max Solarzord's Sentai counterpart) fired at him (as seen in Thunderon's explosion scene, the Supertrain Megazord's fist were covered by the Turbine Lasers).
* EyeLaser: Can shoot out lasers from his eyes.
* OneWingedAngel: Subverted. He's the only one of the trio that keeps his initial form when grown.
* PowerFist: Has spiked gauntlets on his fists.
* TopHeavyGuy: His main body is bulky compared to his legs.
* WakeUpCallBoss: He, along with Falkar and Demonite, were the toughest monsters the Rangers faced up until this point. In his destruction episode, the Rangers had to fake their deaths in order to get the drop on him.

!!Falkar
->'''Voiced by:''' Ezra Weisz
A falcon-themed demon and one of the last three monsters Diabolico created.
----
* BarrierWarrior: Along with Demonite and Thunderon, they can create a barrier to defend from attacks.
* DirtyCoward: He was willing to let Thunderon fight against the Rangers while he watched from the sidelines. Unfortunately for him, Diabolico had other ideas.
* EyeLaser: Can shoot out lasers from the eyes on his falcon head.
* InTheBack: He had a growth card forcibly thrown into his back by Diabolico. (In ''[=GoGoV=]'', he [[{{Bowdlerize}} got impaled by Diabolico's staff]], [[DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation then got the card thrown into his remains]].)
* OneWingedAngel: His giant form is more monstrous than his ground form.
* OpportunisticBastard: He intended to let Thunderon defeat the Rangers and then take the credit.
* WakeUpCallBoss: He, along with Demonite and Thunderon, were the toughest monsters the Rangers faced up until this point. Although, he seems to be the weakest of the three as the Rangers stalled him by demolishing a building on top of him.

!!Troika
->'''Voiced by:''' David Stenstrom, Alonzo Bodden, and Ezra Weisz[[note]]the credits only list Weisz in the role[[/note]]
A three-headed super demon that Diabolico created from the crystallized remains of Demonite, Falkar, and Thunderon.
----
* AllYourPowersCombined: He has every power the three demons that the Rangers fought against in the past three episodes.
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Has a sword on his right arm.
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: A rare aversion. When the Rangers defeat him, he doesn't explode, instead giving us DeadHandShot.
* FusionDance: Created from the crystallized remains of the three previous monsters.
* PowerFist: Has a spiked gauntlet on his left arm.
* SpinAttack: Can perform a Hyper Spin against the Rangers.
* TheWorfEffect: In the first battle, he demolished the Rangers, but once they got their Battle Boosters in the rematch, he didn't stand a chance.

!!Cobra Incarnate
->'''Voiced by:''' Richard Cansino
A cobra demon that was connected to the cobra tattoo on Ryan's back.
----
* CanonForeigner: The Cobra Incarnate is an original ''Power Ranger'' monster.
* {{Curse}}: He was connected to the tattoo Diabolico cursed Ryan with, but once he was destroyed, the curse was lifted, allowing Ryan to morph without risking his life.
* PaletteSwap: He is a repainted Snizzard with a cobra hood attached.
* PlayingWithFire: As with every demon, he has this ability.
* SnakesAreSinister: An cobra demon monster.

!!Thunderclaw
->'''Voiced by:''' Bob Papenbrook
A humanoid stag beetle-like demon.
----
* AdaptedOut: He lacks the grappling hook Death Stag wielded.
* BigCreepyCrawlies: A Stag beetle themed monster.
* TheBusCameBack: One of the demons that made a cameo in the Shadow World during ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' and ''Olympius Unbound''.
* EyeLaser: Can shoot out lasers from his eyes.
* ShockAndAwe: Can fire electric blasts from his horns.

!!Shockatron
->'''Voiced by:''' Herbie Baez
A {{cyborg}}-themed electric demon that attacked a power plant.
----
* BareFistedMonk: Despite lacking a weapon, he can handle himself with his fists.
* TheBusCameBack: One of the demons that made a cameo in the Shadow World during ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' and ''Olympius Unbound''.
* {{Cyborg}}: Based on one.
* {{Flight}}: He is able to fly thanks to the wings on his back.
* ShockAndAwe: His main ability.

!!Spellbinder
->'''Voiced by:''' Kirk Thornton
A wizard/squid-themed demon that tried to revive Queen Bansheera.
----
* AttackItsWeakPoint: His prism power was both his strength and weakness. Once Ryan destroyed it, he was weakened enough for the Rangers to destroy him.
* TheBadGuyWins: While the Rangers did eventually kill him, he still completed his goal and revived Queen Bansheera (albeit trapped in a column for the rest of the season until near the end).
* TheBusCameBack: One of the demons that made a cameo in the Shadow World during ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' and ''Olympius Unbound''.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: Spellbinder is capable of growing without Jinxer's assistance.
* WolverineClaws: Had these on hand if he did not have a weapon on hand.

!!Moleman
->'''Voiced by:''' Ken Merckx
A mole demon that was created by Vypra to build a laser cannon powerful enough to destroy Mariner Bay.
----
* AdaptationalIntelligence: Unlike his ''[=GoGoV=]'' counterpart, Moleman is highly intelligent, able to create a laser cannon.
* AdaptedOut: His bow and arrow weapon did not appear in ''Power Rangers''.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: Unlike his ''[=GoGoV=]'' counterpart, he did not grow giant-sized after being hit by the V-Lancer Spectra Blast.
* DigAttack: As a mole, he naturally has this ability.
* PlayingWithFire: Has this like most demons. His strongest attack is breathing a red energy stream made of heat from his mouth.
* WolverineClaws: Has large clawed gauntlets.

!!Cyclopter
->'''Voiced by:''' Richard Epcar
A cyclops demon.
----
* BareFistedMonk: A very skilled fighter, and thanks to the teachings of Mr. Tamashiro (Chad's former mentor), he became even more powerful.
* TheBusCameBack: One of the demons that made a cameo in the Shadow World during ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' and ''Olympius Unbound''.
* {{Cyclops}}: His main motif.
* FairPlayVillain: When he first challenges the Rangers, they aren't having it and [[CombatPragmatist just shoot him]]. He demands that they fight him without their guns, and they oblige.

!!Mantevil
->'''Voiced by:''' Michael [=McConnohie=]
A praying mantis demon.
----
* SinisterScythe: Wields one as his main weapon.
* SlayingMantis: His AnimalMotif.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: He and Infinitor (who appears later on) were part of the Infinity Chain Card line in ''[=GoGoV=]''. There's no mention of the two being connected in ''Power Rangers''.
* TheWorfEffect: He went from surviving the Omega Megazord's finisher to losing against the Lightspeed [=SolarZord=] and Supertrain Megazord in a matter of seconds.

!!Vilevine
->'''Voiced by:''' Kim Strauss
A rafflesia/ivy-themed demon that Olympus created to trap Loki and Vypra, before being sent to defeat the Rangers.
----
* GreenThumb: A plant-themed monster.
* NearVillainVictory: Was pretty close to killing the Rangers had they not figured out they could go to space to remove the vines from their morphers.
* PlantPerson: Based on a rafflesia and an ivy.
* ShockAndAwe: Despite being a plant monster, he has this ability.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: While a regular MonsterOfTheWeek, he had the biggest impact of the second half of the season as it was his actions against Loki and Vypra that caused them to resurrect Diabolico.

!!Freezard
->'''Voiced by:''' Steve [=McGowan=]
A cobra demon.
----
* AnIcePerson: The only demon to have this ability.
* TheBusCameBack: One of the demons that made a cameo in the Shadow World during ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' and ''Olympius Unbound''.
* ShoutOut: At one point, he quoted [[Film/AustinPowers Fat Bastard's]] "Get in my belly".
* SnakesAreSinister: Like the Cobra Incarnate, he is a cobra themed demon monster.

!!Infinitor
->'''Voiced by:''' Paul Schrier
A dragon/lizard-themed demon.
----
* AdaptationExplanationExtrication: Infinitor being able to NoSell the V-Lancers along with the Omega Megazord's finishing move is better explained in ''[=GoGoV=]''. In the Sentai, Infinitor was part of the Infinity Chain Card monsters, where each monster from the same card had countermeasures against the weapon that was used to destroy the previous one. This is why none of the Ranger's weapons could affect him, except for Chad and Joel's Mega Battles, and why Infinitor was destroyed by the Lightspeed Megazord's saber.
* CoolSword: His sword can fire fireballs or shoot lightning.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: While Infinitor just died by the Omega Megazord with the Lightspeed Megazord's saber, in ''[=GoGoV=]'', he was destroyed after being tossed into the sun.
* MadeOfIron: Has a super strong armor that lets him be durable against most attacks.
* PuzzleBoss: In the Megazord fight at least. The Rangers first used the Lightspeed Megazord and Max Solarzord to gain the upper hand, but then Olympus darkened the sky, weakening the two Megazords so the Rangers had to use the Omega Megazord instead. But then they struggled until Chad grabbed the Lightspeed Megazord's saber to finally destroy him.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: He and Mantevil were part of the Infinity Chain Card line in ''[=GoGoV=]''. There's no mention of the two being connected in ''Power Rangers''.

!!Bird Bane
->'''Voiced by:''' Michael Sorich
->'''Played by:''' Jon Briddell
A crow demon that Jinxer created to retrieve an egg that contains a powerful monster.
----
* AWolfInSheepsClothing: He once took the appearance of a human during his mission.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Even though he klutzy, he was still a durable monster the Rangers had to defeat.
* BirdPeople: He is a humanoid crow.
* CameBackStrong: When he grew giant, he gained armor. [[note]] Again, because in ''[=GoGoV=]'' he was revived with was a Golem Card that can grow a monster into the size of the Supertrain Megazord and give them an OneWingedAngel form[[/note]]
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: Sounds like Creator/EdWynn, more specifically Wynn's role as the Mad Hatter from ''WesternAnimation/AliceInWonderland''.

!!Triskull
->'''Voiced by:''' Michael Sorich
A demon that was loyal to the returning Trakeena and schemed to restore her original form so she could get her revenge on the Galaxy Rangers and conquer the universe.
----
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Unlike Gill, who was so evil he tried to kill Grandiene (his mother) the moment he was a baby and outright killed humans in a sadistic and graphic way to summon the Infernal Dark Beast; Triskull's betrayal of Queen Bansheera is indirect, works for Trakeena loyally and his scheme is much less lethal to its victims.
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: Averted, he just falls down in one piece after he dies from the combined attacks of the teams. This is probably because in Gogo V, he ''did'' explode...[[FamilyUnfriendlyViolence after stabbing himself.]]
* DemotedToExtra: {{Downplayed}}. His ''[=GoGoV=]'' counterpart was the main villain of ''[=GoGoV=] vs Gingaman'' and worked for no one but himself, but here he is TheDragon to Trakeena; that said he does most of the heavy-lifting and has the more screentime of the two.
* TheDragon: To Trakeena during her return.
* TheHeavy: Since she's still weakened from losing her powered form, Trakeena leaves most of the heavy-lifting to Triskull, who has the power and intellect needed to prepare the ceremony to restore her power.
* StrongAsTheyNeedToBe: In part one of the crossover, he easily defeats the Lightspeed Rangers and three of the Lost Galaxy Rangers at the same time. In part two, he's defeated by Leo and Carter alone.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: His ''[=GoGoV=]'' counterpart was part of the Psyma Clan and Grandiene's true firstborn, here he is just a very powerful demon who has no familial relation to Queen Bansheera whatsoever and is merely a traditional traitor who sided with Trakeena.

!!Ghouls
Grim Reaper like foot soldiers Triskull and Trakeena used.
----
* EliteMooks: They are significantly tougher than the regular mooks from both this season and the last one. They NoSell everything the Lightspeed Rangers throw at them, and only the Quasar Sabers at full power can destroy them.
* {{Mooks}}: They are exclusive foot soldiers for the Lightspeed-Lost Galaxy team-up.
** ReplacementMooks: They serve as this for Trakeena's Stingwingers, who were all destroyed at the end of ''Lost Galaxy''.
* WeHaveReserves: Subverted. Ghouls are limited in numbers as neither Triskull and Trakeena summon anymore that could replace the ones the Rangers destroy. As such, there are no Ghouls seen by the climactic fight as all were destroyed by the Rangers.

!!Memorase
->'''Voiced by:''' Marc Caldera
A killer whale-themed demon with the ability to take away the Ranger's memories.
----
* AdaptationalVillainy: His ''[=GoGoV=]'' counterpart was a demon that couldn't fight against women, and actually befriended the Green and Pink Rangers to rid himself of that fear until he was killed by Denus (Vypra's Sentai counterpart) and grew giant-sized. Memorase is more ruthless in ''Power Rangers''.
* DoubleWeapon: Wields a double-bladed halberd.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: With his staff, he can emanate a high pitch wave that can erase any persons' memory.

!!The Gatekeeper
->'''Voiced by:''' Michael Sorich
A sorcerer demon who guards the entrance to the Shadow World.
----
* TheDragon: To Olympus after the latter escaped from the Shadow World.
* {{Necromancer}}: He has the ability to revive fallen demons.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: While he grew giant-sized to help Olympus, it's unknown what happened to him afterwards (In ''Gogo V'', he dies TakingTheBullet shortly thereafter).

!!Furnace Monster
A barnacle-themed demon.
----
* AdaptedOut: Due to his limited appearance, the Furnace Monster lacks his Sentai counterpart's motorcycle.
* BareFistedMonk: Despite not having any weapons, the Furnace Monster could fight with his fists.
* DemotedToExtra: The Furnace Monster's ''Gogo V'' counterpart had an entire episode to himself, but in ''Power Rangers'', he was a spirit in the Shadow World.
* FlatCharacter: Only appears to fight with Fireor and Liztwin against the Supertrain Megazord.
* PlayingWithFire: Could breathe fire.
* TheVoiceless: Never spoke.

!!Ghoular
A mummy-themed demon.
----
* DemotedToExtra: Ghoular's ''Gogo V'' counterpart had an entire episode to himself, but in ''Power Rangers'', he was a spirit in the Shadow World. This was because the footage from his episode showed him resurrecting zombies from the graves.
* FlatCharacter: Only appears in the Shadow World.
* TheVoiceless: Never spoke.

!!Flowar
A flower-like tooth-full-themed demon.
----
* DemotedToExtra: Flowar's ''Gogo V'' counterpart had an entire episode to himself, but in ''Power Rangers'', he was a spirit in the Shadow World.
* FlatCharacter: Only appears in the Shadow World.
* GreenThumb: A flower-themed monster.
* MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily: His entire face is just teeth.
* TheVoiceless: Only spoke in roars.

!!Mermatron
A female bat-winged siren/mermaid-themed demon.
----
* DemotedToExtra: Had an entire episode dedicated to her in the Sentai, but was merely a spirit in the Shadow World. Also, her original form was only used for the [=PS1=] game. The form she uses in the Shadow World is actually an upgraded form that Jinxer's counterpart used when he made her grow giant, similar to Bird Bane and Liztwin.
* FlatCharacter: Only appears in the Shadow World.
* TheVoiceless: Never spoke.

!!Fire Wasp
An insect demon.
----
* FlatCharacter: Only appears in the Shadow World.
* TheVoiceless: Never spoke.

!!Aquafiend
->'''Voiced by:''' Peter Greenwood
A kappa demon who stole King Neptune's trident to drain Mariner Bay's water supply for the demons to attack the Aquabase.
----
* {{Kappa}}: Based on one.
* MakingASplash: Unlike most demons who are weak to water, Aquafiend can traverse them without any worry.
* ProngsOfPoseidon: Literally in this case as he ''stole'' King Neptune's trident.
* ShockAndAwe: Can fire lighting beams from his bird beak-like mouth, and the color they are depends on whether if he is either in the sea or on land.

!!Arachnor
->'''Voiced by:''' Katarina Luciani
A spider demon with the ability to scan the Rangers weapons.
----
* AdaptationalLateAppearance: Arachnor's ''[=GoGoV=]'' appeared earlier in the Sentai before the half way point. In ''Power Rangers'', she's the second to last MonsterOfTheWeek the Rangers face off against.
* AllWebbedUp: From her three-clawed right arm or mouth, Arachnor can fire a light blue energy laser that will turn into a sticky web in contact with her prey.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: In ''[=GoGoV=]'', she grew giant-sized and was destroyed by Victory Robo. But in ''Power Rangers'', she was taken down by Carter in the Trans Armor Cycle.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Made an appearance in ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' and ''Olympius Unbound'' before making her full debut.
* PlayingWithFire: Can shoot fireballs from her hands.
* SherlockScan: Her main ability is to scan the Ranger's weapons for weak points. However, she could not scan Carter's Trans Armor Cycle mode due to its complexity.
* {{Shapeshifting}}: Can transform into a spider.
* ShesAManInJapan: Her Super Sentai counterpart, Spiderus, was male.

!!Treevil
->'''Voiced by:''' John C. Hyke
A tree-themed demon.
----
* AdaptationalLateAppearance: Treevil's ''[=GoGoV=]'' appeared very early in the Sentai as one of the first few monsters. In ''Power Rangers'', he's the last MonsterOfTheWeek the Rangers face off against (which is why the Lightspeed Megazord alone is used to battle him).
* EarlyBirdCameo: Made an appearance in ''Sorcerer of the Sands'' and ''Olympius Unbound'' before making his full debut.
* GreenThumb: Being a tree-themed monster, Treevil can launch vines from his hands that are strong enough to tear the ground apart and throw acorn bombs.
* PlantPerson: Appears to be based on tree stumps.
* PunnyName: His name is the combination of Tree and Evil.
