A secret school club in Amanogawa was created in order to protect from the Zodiarts threat. Their club room can be reached through the Rabbit Hatch, a secret way to the Moon which is situated inside the school.

The club was founded by Gentaro after he became Kamen Rider Fourze. Their mission includes helping out the students wherever possible and researching the Astro Switches to aid Fourze's fight against the Zodiarts.

[[folder:General Tropes]]
* ActionGirl: Miu, standing up to Zodiarts ''unarmed'' and temporarily using the Power Dizer.
%% commented out Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * BadassBiker: Gentaro on the Massigler, [[spoiler:presumably due to him working with his grandfather at his shop "Kisaragi Motors"]].
* BadassBookworm: Kengo. Book smart, was able to use Power Dizer for a while, and willing to shock his whole left arm with electricity to save Gentaro.
%% commented out Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * BadassInANiceSuit: Shun in his prom outfit in #26.
* BadassNormal: Shun whether he be in the Power Dizer or not.
* BreakingTheFellowship: [[spoiler:Already a dark day to start with, but that's only the first of a string of bad events to happen to the Club.]]
%% Commented out Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Gentaro, of course.
* DwindlingParty: [[spoiler:Virgo sends Tomoko into the Dark Nebula at the end of #40. Then, in the next episode, she starts threatening the rest of the Club in order for them to quit, leaving only Gentaro, Kengo, and Ryusei as the remaining members, only for Ryusei to get sent to the Dark Nebula as well.]]
* FireForgedFriends: Gentaro all but names this trope in #18, saying that because they clashed at first, they got to see each others' real faces, which is why they can be friends now.
* FirstNameBasis: Everyone (except Kengo) will call Gentaro by his first name. Kengo gets annoyed at Gentaro calling him by his first name (at first) while Yuki adds the suffix "-kun" and Shun sometimes calls him by his last name (Utahoshi). JK is justified seeing as we don't even know his full name and Tomoko will sometimes be nicknamed "Tomo-chan".
* GondorCallsForAid: [[spoiler:In TheMovie, Fourze's Astro Switches are all damaged, and they all need to be reactivated simultaneously in order to create a new, special Switch. The Club enlists nearly every single side character in the series to perform the feat. Also lapses into an EnemyMine when, being one Astro Switcher short, Yuki finds a surprise volunteer in ''Mitsuaki Gamou''.]]
* HeartbrokenBadass: A little bit with [[spoiler:Gentaro]] in the ''Mega Max''. [[spoiler:He was further broken down by the apparent death of his best friend Kengo.]]
* ThePowerOfFriendship: Friendship gives you allies, new powers, hugs, and lots of fun on a Moon Base. A special mention should be made for #35-#36 [[spoiler:in which the loss of JK's friendship actually made Gentaro lose the ability to transform into Cosmic state]].
* SecretHandshake: All members do Gentaro's when they are accepted as friends/members of the Club.
* SecretKeeper: All members are sworn to secrecy about Fourze and the Rabbit Hatch. [[spoiler:After #32, minus Ohsugi, they're all the keepers about Meteor's identity.]]
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: Each member's name refer to one of first 7 Kamen Riders.
%%* TeamPowerWalk: They get to do one in TheMovie.
* TookALevelInBadass: Subverted. It seemed to be the case for Yuki and JK in #25. Yuki's become ClubPresident and JK being the new Power Dizer pilot. The problems, as Ryusei noted, was that Yuki is unable to keep her cool at times and JK doesn't have the stamina that Shun has to pilot. Most likely played straighter in the movie as some are seen with guns battling in a space station.
* TrueCompanions: They stick together through and through. To the point that in #26 when it seemed like Miu and Shun would leave due to graduation, [[spoiler:they actually would be able to stay since their universities are close by the high school.]]
* YouAreNotAlone:
** Gentaro's message to Tomoko in #10 and Yuki's message to Kengo in #12.
** In #32, [[spoiler:Kengo reaches out to Gentaro inbetween limbo and it shows the other members of the Kamen Rider Club are supporting Kengo.]]
* OfficialCouple: [[spoiler:Ryusei and Tomoko after #44.]]
* ShipperOnDeck: Most members of the Kamen Rider Club seem to be shipping Tomoko and Ryusei. Particularly obvious at the end of #44 when Yuki hands out homemade tickets to space and gives those two a couple's ticket.

!!Gentaro Kisaragi/Kamen Rider Fourze
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Sota Fukushi (live), Seiji Takaiwa (suit)
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gentaro_kisaragi.png]]

The series protagonist. A second-year high school student with a [[JapaneseDelinquents Delinquent]] image who vows to become friends with every single person in the school.\
\
Voted #2 Kamen Rider in the ''Kamen Rider Fourze'' franchise, #28 Kamen Rider in the Heisei era, and #34 Kamen Rider overall in NHK's All Kamen Rider Popularity Vote.

!!!Tropes that apply to him in general
* AllLovingHero: In step with his dream, he treats it like it's his job to go about befriending everyone in school and accepting them for who they are, doing whatever he needs to do to make them smile. This goes to the extent of [[spoiler:dying so Ryusei can be happy to see his friend awaken once more in #31, then coming BackFromTheDead the next episode, [[CameBackStrong stronger than ever]]]]. He then outdoes himself in the finale when he [[spoiler:forgives Gamou for killing Kengo, and ''gives him the handshake.'' And Gamou ''accepts!'']]
* AwesomeByAnalysis: How did he find out the identity of Lynx Zodiarts? By the CharacterTics of snapping their fingers.
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:Gets revived via the use of the Cosmic Switch after being killed off by Meteor in #31.]]
* BadassBoast: "With our bonds, we'll grab hold of space!!" during Cosmic State.
* BadassTeacher: In the future where he still has the Fourze Driver. Also he fought some [[Series/KamenRiderWizard Ghouls]] untransformed.
* BareHandedBladeBlock: With ''Virgo''.
* BatterUp: He tries to [[DualWielding dual wield]] baseball bats against Cancer in #23...only for them to be sliced off by [[AbsurdlySharpBlade Cancer's powerful claw]].
* BerserkButton: He's the NiceGuy through and through and will take a ''lot'' of crap to make friends, but do '''not''' intentionally harm his friends. [[spoiler:Makise learned the hard way, being left instead [[DoWithHimAsYouWill at the mercy of his prospective victims]].]]
* BookDumb: He considers a 50% on a test the highest score he's ever received (and even then Satake adjusted it from ''18'', partly as an [[PetTheDog expression of his gratitude for saving his son]]. Even more hilariously, he may have taken the 18 as his highest score unironically, considering how he got a 4 later). He also struggles with English, thinking the word trash was a compliment, and basic arithmetic, being unable to find the square root of 49 while his Hand Asroswitch disassembled a bike. The other half of this trope is shown in Gentaro's social skills (he's incredibly good with people and can befriend just about anyone, plus is a very good judge of character and knows when someone is hiding something), his deductive reasoning (figuring out who the Monster of the Week was based on a character tic or another one just be recalling an off-hand comment of a building getting in the way of Mt. Fuji), and his ability to learn, adapt, and improvise during battle.
* BoxingLessonsForSuperman: In the end of #22, Haruka is seen teaching Gentaro kickboxing.
* CameBackStrong: [[spoiler:After being killed at the end of #31, he's revived in #32 with his access to his SuperMode, Cosmic State.]]
* CharacterCatchPhrase: Post-transformation...
-->"UCHUU KITAAA~!"
** It has been translated a couple different ways, but the most common translations are "Space is here!", "It's space time!" or even "Blast off!"
** Pre-battle, he also has, "Kamen Rider Fourze! Let's settle this one on one!"
** When he enters Comic State, "With our bonds, we'll grab hold of space!"
** He also has one pre-transformation, as he constantly introduces himself with, "I'm Kisaragi Gentaro. I'm the man who will befriend everybody in this school."
* CharacterTics:
** Smoothing his hair. He even does it while transformed!
** Every time he states he'll befriend everybody in school, he thumps his chest twice with his right hand, then points to the person or people he's talking to.
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: While he isn't the most obvious choice, he's fit enough to wield the Fourze System with no problems, but what really made Gentaro stand out for this trope is that he has shown to have enough strength to hit a baseball ''clear out of a outdoors batting cage's netting'' in #24.
* ChildhoodFriends: With Yuki.
* CluelessChickMagnet: If #25 is true, he was about to be a prom date for either Ritsuko (Altar Zodiarts) or Tamae (Chameleon Zodiarts). [[spoiler:The end of the episode indicates that even ''Miu'' wanted to go with him.]] This continues in #33 with Yukina Takamura who is trying to be Gentaro's girlfriend and tries to shove Yuki and Ryusei out of the way (even going as far as to blackmail Yuki) to make sure the two are together. In all cases, Gentaro is completely oblivious until he's actually told. He's only ever actually noticed the affections of Nadeshiko, which he wholeheartedly returned in the first place [[spoiler:and his love was what made her sapient enough to ''return it'' in the first place.]]
* CompanionCube:
** At the beginning of #15, he was ''apologizing'' to the Rocket and Drill Switches, having temporarily exhausted them after using a Double Limit Break in the previous episode.
** Even earlier than that, he yells at the Elec Switch, asking what it's deal is before saying he's going to befriend it.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: To [[Series/KamenRiderSuper1 Kazuya Oki/Kamen Rider Super-1]], the previous Space Rider. Kazuya is an astronaut under the International Space Development Program who volunteered to become a cyborg for space exploration, while Gentaro is a student at Amanogawa High School who was entangled to become Kamen Rider Fourze by chance. Their fighting styles also contrasts as well, as Kazuya is a practitioner of the Sincere Shaolin Fist martial arts, Gentaro is more of a brawler fighter.
* CoolBike: The Machine Massigler. Not only is it a motorcycle designed after a space shuttle, it can, with help from the Power Dizer, launch into outer space under it's own power and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking produces no air pollution]]!
* CooldownHug: Gives one of these to Kengo in #47 as Kengo states how [[spoiler:he must leave to see the Presenters]].
* CoolTeacher: While we don't see much interaction with his students, what little we do we see they do look up to him and what we know of his character, he helps out his students. [[spoiler:Like helping one use his powers for good and become a hero]].
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: He seems stupid on the surface, but he's a great fighter and a little bit smarter than he seems. In ''[[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons D&D]]'' terms, you might say that he's got a high Wisdom score, but a low-to-medium Intelligence. One of the best showings of this is #15. He figures out who the Perseus Zodiarts is by observing a tilted building in a painting, and from thinking about what the painter of said painting told him. Repeats itself when he figures out who is the Lynx Zodiarts by just a {{Character Tic|s}}. On a more personal level, #18 shows him to be an almost superhumanly good judge of character.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: [[spoiler:Back during the third grade, his parents died in a traffic accident, which resulted in him living with his grandfather, Goro Kisaragi.]] It's also fits into MoodDissonance since he states it calmly and a happy upbeat song is playing in the background.
* DeceasedParentsAreTheBest: He tells the Kamen Rider Club that his parents died when he was younger and he doesn't seem too broken up about it.
* {{Determinator}}:
** After getting stung with a poison from the Scorpion Zodiarts, he has the willpower to walk all the way to where JK was hanging out, and use him as a crutch as he [[spoiler:staggers toward Miura at the top of the school, just so he can hand him Mari's photo album]].
** He's so determined that [[spoiler:he was somehow able to move despite being ''petrified completely'', though he says it's because Perseus' heart wasn't in it]].
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Rushing in after Kengo throws a letter from a girl who tried to confess to him into the creek and reprimanding him (in a very HotBlooded fashion), then jumping into the water after it. And ''then'' stating he wishes to become friends with everyone in the school, ''including'' Kengo, even if he doesn't like him.
* ExcellentJudgeOfCharacter: Gentaro is surprisingly good at reading people at times. In Episode #18, he doesn't accept Ryusei as a friend despite Ryusei pulling up a NiceGuy facade. It isn't until Ryusei ''punches'' Gentaro that he's decides that he wants to befriend ''that'' Ryusei.
* FaceOfAThug: Invoked - he looks like a delinquent with greaser hair, but his personality is something of the opposite.
* FunTShirt: Starting at #5, Gentaro's been wearing different shirts. One has a green "X" on it, another has some sort of chemistry formula (comes in white and pink), another other says "It's better to give than to receive" (in English, none the less), another depicts a solar system, the latest one is a tessellation of snowflakes.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: Used when he states how he'll make friends with everyone at the school.
%%* HeartbrokenBadass: Nadeshiko.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Believes that everything, however seemingly useless on the surface, can be useful if applied correctly. Best demonstrated in the uses of Hopping and Pen Switches.
* HiddenDepths: [[spoiler:#27 reveals that his parents died in a traffic accident when he was young and that he now lives with his grandfather who works at Kisaragi Motors, which explains why he's able to ride the Massigler.]]
* {{Homage}}: His story in ''MEGAMAX'' can be likened to ''Series/KamenRiderStronger'', especially when you remember who he cosplayed as, and the namesake of his love interest.
* HotBlooded: Oh so, so very much.
* HowDoIShotWeb: Yuki and Kengo literally have to tell him what to do in his first fight. Justified since he did snatch the Fourze Driver out of Kengo's hands without getting the instructions. Later episodes show that he's actually practicing on the lunar surface and training how to use his Switches.
* IdiotHero:
** During the special education classes, a test comes in stating people who get less than 50% fail. He got a 50% (and even then adjusted from 18% out of kindness) and he states that's the ''highest score'' he's ever gotten.
** He himself admits to Miura that because he's such an idiot, all he can do is just protect his friends [[spoiler:even while trying to walk toward him after getting afflicted by the Scorpion Zodiarts' poison]].
** Takes it to new levels during his portion of ''[[Film/KamenRiderXKamenRiderWizardAndFourzeMovieWarUltimatum Movie War Ultimatum]]'' to [[spoiler:make Sataka realize WhatYouAreInTheDark, Gentaro TOSSES HIS '''DRIVER''' IN ''LAVA'', '''''DESTROYING IT'''''!]] Sure he gets [[spoiler:his Driver back for the remainder of the movie, but unless it can be rebuilt, he's now powerless! NiceJobBreakingItHero!]]
* InformedAbility: Subverted. He states in the first episode that he's befriended a thousand people before coming to school. While we don't see any of the thousand friends he made, we see that he's just as good as making friends in his current school.
* JapaneseDelinquents: Subverted, or a LighterAndSofter take on this trope. He really just wants to genuinely make friends and help people. This is just a normal dress mode for him.
* JumpedAtTheCall: He takes the Fourze Driver so fast [[HowDoIShotWeb he forgets to ask how to use it]]!
* JustAKid: [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Eiji]] was surprised when he found out that the Rider who saved him from Gara was still in high school.
* TheKlutz: Demonstrated rather well in #4, where he trips while trying to leap over a rack of bowling balls, and later bangs his hands on support beams while doing his "UCHUU KITAAA~!" pose. Miu actually admonishes him to pay more attention to his surroundings after this. In #5, he smacks his own crotch with the Chain Array (partly due to shock over watching the Unicorn Zodiarts remove its horse mask to reveal its true form). #9 continues this, where he, while ruminating on the existence of witches, accidentally blinds himself (and Kengo) with the Flash's light.
** And again in #14. After returning from space (and beating the crap out of [[spoiler:Scorpion Nova]]), he tries standing on a large mound of dirt...and then trips and falls.
* TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: He couldn't contain his own excitement upon meeting the Legendary Riders in ''MEGAMAX''.
* LargeHam: Possibly the hammiest rider ever. And that, we must remind you, is saying something. [[ItRunsInTheFamily His grandfather also has moments like this.]]
* LimitedWardrobe: Subverted. Gentaro is always shown in his black jacket and pants but will swap for a new shirt every now and then. #17 also shows him in a new jacket.
* LoadBearingHero: Uses most of his power in order to [[spoiler:send the enormous Satellite Weapon XVII into a warp drive before it could attack the Earth]].
* MagneticHero: He is a ''really'' friendly guy, as every member of the Kamen Rider Club joined in after he befriended him. Gamou himself compares him to a [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitational_lens gravitational lens]]. When he reunites with Yuki, he states that he made ''a thousand friends'' within the span of three years, meaning that from 3rd year Elementary to 2nd year high school he made ''one hundred!'' Thisi becomes even more literal when he gets the Magnet States.
* ManlyTears: He is a very emotional person. Highlights include:
** In #2, when it finally hits him that he's in outer space.
** Contrast with #8, where he engages in InelegantBlubbering after hearing Shun's FreudianExcuse.
** And again in #13 after hearing Mari's concern for her boyfriend Miura.
** And once more in #19 following how badly Kengo hates him.
** Sheds some more in #26 after Shun tells him to give Miu a dance.
** Sheds some in #47 when [[spoiler:Kengo gives his final farewells before he leaves for space.]]
* MenDontCry: And yet in ''Movie War Megmax'', he states that the only time a man should cry was when A) they lose their wallet or B) they get dumped.
* MundaneUtility: He isn't above using some of the Switches for his own amusement, like using the Pen Switch to write a Merry Christmas message on the moon. It's usually Kengo who calls him out on it.
* MySignificanceSenseIsTingling: [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext Pompadour sense!]]
* MythologyGag: The Fourze henshin pose is adapted from [[Series/KamenRiderBlade Garren's]].
* NewTransferStudent: He arrives in Amanogawa High in the first episode.
* NiceGuy: He has to be since - as he puts it - he already made friends with ''1000 people'' before coming to Amanogawa. So nice [[spoiler:he forgives his own ''murderer'' and encourages the rest of the club to do the same, then later the BigBad who ''murdered Kengo''.]]
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: It's thanks to him that Kengo TookALevelInJerkass.
** He does realize his mistake and tries to apologize. [[spoiler:But losing the NS Magphone has just made Kengo scream "YOU'RE A COMPLETE IDIOT!" to the delinquent's face just made it worse. However it's later revealed that Kengo was more AngerBornOfWorry as he was terrified of Gentaro hurting himself with the incomplete NS Magphone.]]
** He also stopped the Libra Zodiarts from giving another student a Zodiarts Switch, causing him to accidentally drop it. Another student found it, [[spoiler:went beyond its Last One stage and ''eventually turned into the Cancer Zodiarts'']].
* ObliviousToLove: At least four other Amanogawa girls have crushed on him, but he's never seen it. Averted with Nadeshiko as he reciprocates her feelings for him.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Gentaro usually cries at sad backstories like Shun explaining his FreudianExcuse or Mari explaining how she's afraid for Miura after he was freed from being a Zodiarts. In those two situations, he immediately bounces back and tackles things head on. ''Movie War Megamax'' also has him crying over [[spoiler:seeing Nadeshiko die in front of him]] but this time he ends up in a HeroicBSOD which needs his friends to break through.
* OurHeroIsDead: [[spoiler:At the end of #31. He was killed by a desperate Ryusei/Kamen Rider Meteor through a one-inch punch. But his death doesn't stick as he was revived due to the Cosmic Switch one episode later.]]
* PreAsskickingOneLiner: He'll often say "Let's do this man-to-man!" when challenging the MonsterOfTheWeek.
* RaisedByGrandparents: He was raised by his grandfather after his parents died.
* RealMenWearPink: He has this pink tank top under his jacket in the opening and early in #3, and a pink version of one of his FunTShirt (the one with the chemistry formula). That doesn't stop him from kicking someone's ass when it comes down to it. Then we have the Net Switch. What does it look like? ''A pink butterfly net''. What does it do? ''Trap enemies with a net made of Cosmic Energy''.
* {{Retraux}}: Like ''anything''. There's the uniform and the hair, his schoolbag is the traditional leather carry-handle type and even his ringtone is a 70s ''enka'' theme (until he switches to the [=MagPhone=], though). Basically, Gentaro is an old school IdiotHero pulled straight from the pages of classic "[[ShonenDemographic shonen]]" fiction. His {{Retraux}} hobbies help him figure out the identity of DJ Gene (JK) in #35 because Gentaro always requested an ''enka'' song--Cape Friendship--that Gene never wanted to play on his radio show.
* RedOniBlueOni: The red to Kengo (as himself) and Meteor's (as Fourze) blue.
* RightForTheWrongReasons: He initially doesn't want Ryusei into the Kamen Rider Club. Not because he's TheMole, but because he's not being his true self.
* SayMyName: It's sort of a trend mostly when [[spoiler:he sees someone close to him dead/in danger]].
** Movie War Megamax: "NADESHIKO!!!!!"
** Super Hero Taisen/#41: "METEOR!!!!"
** Everyone, Space Is Here!: [[spoiler:"XVII!!!!"]]
** #47: [[spoiler:"KENGO!!!!!!"]]
** Movie War Ultimatum: "YUKI!!!!"
* SheCleansUpNicely:
** When in proper school uniform, and according to Ohsugi anyway.
** Movie Wars Ultimatum shows Gentaro in a suit (having become a teacher), and even with his trademark pompadour it's clear that this trope is in full effect. He looks ''good'' in that suit.
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: Turns out Gentaro has it as well, but it was very hidden. And who is it? Dissect Gentaro's name in English, rearrange and remove some letters gives you '''Stronger'''.
* SingleTargetSexuality: Nadeshiko is the only person of either sex he's ever shown romantic attraction to, even when at least four other girls all have shown interest in ''him'', which he was completely oblivious to.
* TheSocialExpert: He may not be the best at academics, but he is great at understanding others. This not only allows him to make friends with remarkable ease, even when said friends were once enemies, it also makes him a ''great'' judge of character.
* StaticCharacter: Within the main series, Gentaro undergoes relatively little CharacterDevelopment or introspection by the standards of ''Rider'' protagonists, with much of his focus is instead spent on how his worldview and optimism positively impact those around him. Side-material however gives him a bit more personal growth, with the novel being specifically about his personal choice to become a teacher.
* StockShonenHero: Practically an AffectionateParody of one. Gentaro is a HotBlooded IdiotHero driven by his ceaseless optimism and belief in the PowerOfFriendship. Even his appearence is a take on the classic JapaneseDelinquents manga the codified these themes in Japanese pop-culture.
* TakenForGranite: He was petrified by Perseus Zodiarts ''yet was able to move''. Kengo assumes that this was due to Perseus being conflicted at the time.
* TooDumbToFool: The only one of the Kamen Rider Club to see that Ryusei's hiding behind a mask. It takes a punch from Ryusei -- after Fourze defeats the Lynx Zodiarts -- does he accept him.
* TragicKeepsake: [[spoiler:Still has the S-1 switch that Nadeshiko gave him in the Mega Max movie]].
* TransferStudentUniforms: Rather than the Amanogawa uniform, he wears a more old-fashioned style of uniform in keeping with his "delinquent" image. It's also handwaved by Ryusei pointing out that the Amanogawa uniform is ''recommended'' but not ''required'' in the guide book, much to Ohsugi's annoyance.
* TheUnchosenOne: Played with. While he had ''nothing'' to do with the Rabbit Hutch and the Zodiarts conflict at first, having taken up becoming Fourze to spare Kengo from the toll it would have on his weak body, Gentaro's physiology and AllLovingHero mentality actually makes him the ''perfect'' candidate to use Fourze.
* UnskilledButStrong: As befitting for a delinquent, Gentaro's punches are sloppy, and he notably loses out against opponents with actual martial arts training. Compared to Meteor, who's suit is pretty bare bones but is an incredibly skilled fighter, Fourze has several alternate forms and dozens of combat options with his States and Astro Switches but tends to bumble around in many of his fights until he finds a switch combination that's effective against that specific opponent.
* UnwantedHarem: #25-26 focus, in part, on several third-year girls wanting to ask Gentaro out to prom. [[spoiler:Including Miu.]] Kinda subverted, as it wasn't that he didn't want them, he was just too dull to notice they were into him. Not to mention, they were Ritsuko and Tamae, former Zodiarts he defeated. Also, he made them upset when images of the Alter Zodiarts made suspicious that Ritsuko got her hands on another Switch.
* UseYourHead: Uses this as a part of his fighting style.
* VisualPun: Have you seen what the ''Stealth'' module looks like?
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Gentaro has a fear of cicadas as seen in #9. #10 expands on this fear in that he also fear the cicada cocoons, shells and pupa.
* WorfHadTheFlu: After the debut of Cosmic States, something seems to happen to Gentaro that prevents him from utilizing its full power in each subsequent arc (JK breaking ties with the Club, Gentaro himself holding back because he doesn't want to hurt Aquarius, being turned into a puppet by Taurus, [[spoiler:Virgo sending Tomoko to the Dark Nebula and forcing the Kamen Rider Club to split]]...).

!!!Tropes exclusive to him as Kamen Rider Fourze
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kamen_rider_fourze_base_states.png]]
* AllYourPowersCombined: Cosmic State, which can combine the powers of different switches.
** '''Barizun Sword''' Combos
*** Rocket + Elec
*** Chain Array + Fire[[note]]Only shown in magazine images.[[/note]]
** '''Right Leg''' Combos
*** Launcher + Freeze
*** Giantfoot + Freeze
*** Giantfoot + Launcher[[note]]Only shown in magazine images.[[/note]]
*** Beat + Net
*** Launcher + Net
** '''Left Leg''' Combos
** '''Left Arm''' Combos
*** Gyro + Hammer[[note]]Only shown in magazine images.[[/note]]
* AttackDrone: The NS Magnetcannons can act independently when separated from Fourze.
* BigRedButton: [[spoiler:The Cosmic Switch is one, and it's huge compared to most switches.]]
* BlingOfWar: Elec State. Unlike [[Series/KamenRiderBlade several]] [[Series/KamenRiderKiva past]] [[Series/KamenRiderDouble seasons]], the gold form is his ''first'' powerup rather than the last.
* BlowYouAway: The Aero Switch.
* CallingYourAttacks:
** Does this with his Limit Breaks and sometimes normal attacks.
** In #5, only using the Rocket Switch, he calls out "Rider Rocket Punch" against the Unicorn Zodiarts.
* CombatPragmatist: In #14, he's having trouble fighting the Dustards with Elec States's melee weapon. He switches to Fire States and then easily blows them all away with his gun. He's also not adverse to exploiting the fact he can fly using the Rocket Module and slow his descent when not doing so to simply let gravity hurt opponents for him.
* DePower: [[spoiler:In ''Movie War Ultimatum'', he '''destroys the Fourze Driver''' in order to motivate his student Saburo into becoming a better person. It works, resulting in Saburo's HeelFaceTurn into Inazuman, and the rest of the Rider Club remains convinced that Fourze will return if and when he's needed.]]
* DishingOutDirt: The Schop Switch.
* ExploitedImmunity: Fourze is one of the few main Riders capable of flying in his base form thanks to the Rocket Module. Even when not using it, he's capable of slowing his descent thanks to the booster on his back. As a result, on several occasions Fourze attacks an enemy simply be jumping off a high place or using one of his switches to airlift them high up and drop them, as most of the Zodiarts lack the ability to fly or slow their fall.
* ExtraOreDinary: Magnet State, by manipulating surrounding metal through its magnetism.
* ExtremityExtremist: Certain Astro Switches will force this role upon him.
* FeedItWithFire: #10 reveals that Fire State can absorb fire attacks [[YourMindMakesItReal contingent with his willpower]].
* FinishingMove: Called {{Limit Break}}s.
** Base State:
*** ''Rocket Drill Kick'': Fourze activates the Rocket and Drill Switches, using the former's thrust to propel himself forward and strike the opponent with the spinning drill. He adds "''Rider''" in front of it after learning about Kamen Riders in #2.
*** ''Rocket Drill Space Kick'': A RecycledInSpace version with the inclusion of the Radar Switch to be more precise in hitting the Zodiarts Switch and being in space to minimize collateral damage.
*** ''Rider Rocket Drill Space Kick'': Another RecycledInSpace version only minus the Radar Module.
*** ''Rider Rocket Drill Great Space Kick'': A Double Limit Break in which the Rocket and Drill Modules change into larger versions for a more powerful attack, but doing this temporarily drains the switches of all their cosmic energy, rendering them useless until they've had some time to "recharge".
*** ''(Unnamed)'': Uses the Pen Switch and attacks the enemy with caligraphy strokes. The ink then hardens, thus immobilizing parts of the Zodiarts.
*** ''(Unnamed 2)'': Fourze uses the Claw, Chainsaw, Spike, and Scissors Switches in a [[SpinAttack spinning slash attack]].
*** ''Youth Galaxy Great Great Great Drill Kick'': A ''[[SerialEscalation Quadruple]]'' Limit Break, in which Fourze pulls the lever an additional three times to use as much power as possible.
** Elec State:
*** ''Rider Ten Billion Volt Break'': Fourze plugs the Elec Switch into the Billy the Rod and inserts the plug into the left socket, then strikes the Zodiarts with a powerful electric blow.
*** ''Rider Ten Billion Volt Shoot'': Fourze plugs the Elec Switch into Billy the Rod and inserts the plug into the middle socket, then strikes the Zodiarts with [[SwordBeam an electric beam slash]].
*** ''Rider Ten Billion Volt Burst'': Fourze plugs the Elec Switch into the Billy the Rod and inserts the plug into the right socket, then strikes the Zodiarts with [[ShockwaveStomp an electric shockwave]].
*** ''Rider Lightning Drill Kick'': Fourze activates the Drill Switch, striking the Zodiarts with a super-charged Rider Kick.
** Fire State:
*** ''Rider Exploding Shoot'': Fourze plugs the Fire Switch into the Hea-Hackgun in Flame Mode, which [[FeedItWithFire absorbs surrounding thermal energy]] and shoots it out in a powerful blast.
*** ''(Unnamed)'': Fourze plugs the Fire Switch into the Hea-Hackgun in Fire Extinguisher Mode and shoots out water from it like a fire hose. [[InNameOnly Only here because it is a Limit Break]].
*** ''(Unnamed 2)'': Fourze activates the Fire, Launcher, and Gatling Switches all at once for [[AlphaStrike maximum firepower]].
** Magnet State:
*** ''Rider Super Electromagnetic Bomber'': Fourze fires an intense beam of electromagnetism from the NS Magnetcannon, then envelops the target and ''crushes the target until it implodes''. However, the latter is only for metallic foes. For everyone else, it shoots a beam of pure electromagnetism point blank from the N&S Magcannon.
*** ''Rider Super Electromagnetic Tackle'': Fourze charges up the Magnetcannons and tackles the Zodiarts.
*** ''Rider Super Electromagnetic Bomber: Total Barrage'': Fourze uses the NS Magnetcannon with the Launcher and Gatling Modules for [[AlphaStrike maximum firepower]].
*** ''Rider Super Electromagnetic Strike'': A CombinationAttack with Meteor. Fourze gives Meteor the N Magnet switch and they both activate the limit break. The N Magnet and S Magnet switch attract, crushing the foes in between Fourze and Meteor.
** Cosmic State:
*** ''Rider Super Galaxy Finish'': Fourze changes the Barizun Sword to Boost Mode and tackles the Zodiarts through a portal that leads out of Earth's atmosphere. Fourze then changes the sword back to Sword Mode and attacks with a humongous SwordBeam.
*** ''Rider Kick'': [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin A kick]], charged with cosmic energy.
** Rocket State:
*** ''Rider Tailspin Crusher'': [[SpinAttack A corkscrew kick]].
*** ''Rider Double Rocket Drill Kick'': Fourze activates the Drill Switch, then uses both rocket's thrust to propel himself forward and kick the enemy.
** Rocket Drill State: ''Rider Rocket Drill Blast''[[note]]A punch with the Rocket Drill Module.[[/note]]
** Meteor Fusion State: ''Rider Fusion Drill Kick''[[note]]An illusory copy of Fourze Base States and Meteor appear on either side of Fourze and all three perform the Rider Drill Kick.[[/note]]
** Meteor Nadeshiko Fusion State:
*** ''Rider (Double) Rocket Missile'': Fourze launches one or both Rocket Modules at the enemy.
*** ''Rider Ultimate Crusher'': A stronger version of Rocket States' [[SpectacularSpinning Rider Tailspin Crusher]].
* {{Flight}}: Thanks to the Rocket Module, he can fly. This is noteworthy, as while some Riders get the ability to fly as an upgrade, Fourze is one of the only one's capable of flying in his base form.
* GoldenSuperMode: The Elec State, lamshaded by Miu in its debut with Fourze being a golden knight. It's actually downplayed given this is his first SuperMode and he has access to better ones afterwards.
* GoodWearsWhite: A pure white Kamen Rider and a friendly heroic guy to boot.
* GotMeDoingIt: When he assumed Meteor Fusion States, he does Ryusei's {{Character Tic|s}} and is prone to the FunnyBruceLeeNoises.
* GravityMaster: The actual power of the Giantfoot Switch.
* HoldingBackThePhlebotinum: A ''Double Limit Break'' is said to use up the Astro Switch's Cosmic Energy, rendering it unusable until it fully recharges.
* AnIcePerson: The Freeze Switch.
* JetPack: Fourze has one built into his armor.
* LatexSpaceSuit: The Fourze suit allows him to freely operate in space and on the moon.
* LightEmUp: The Flash Switch.
* MakeMeWannaShout: The Beat Switch.
* MakingASplash: The Water Switch.
* MeaningfulName: Fourze is a portmanteau of “four” and “zero”, not only referring to his 40 Astroswitches, but also how Fourze serves as the 40th anniversary series.
%%* MidSeasonUpgrade: Magnet State.
* {{Motifs}}: Most of Fourze's forms are based on an astronaut, befitting the themes of outer space. The only exceptions are Elec State (construction worker) and Fire State (firefighter).
* NonElemental: Base, Rocket, and Rocket Drill State.
* PlayingWithFire: Fire State is this or MakingASplash, depending on the mode of the Hea-Hack Gun.
* SelectiveMagnetism: Magnet State, with a small helping of WaveMotionGun.
* ShockAndAwe: Elec State.
** ShockStick: Fourze's Elek States form is equipped with an electrified sword-like baton.
* SpaceMaster: Cosmic State, who can create a warp drive to send the enemy into space for its FinishingMove.
* WalkingArmory: Has '''40''' individually numbered switches that give his limbs a weapon or other useful device. Each limb is compatible with 10 switches.
** '''Circle (Right Arm)''': Tend to be weapons. If the switch is a multiple of 10, it allows Fourze to change into a different form.

!!Kengo Utahoshi
!!!'''Portrayed by''': Ryuki Takahashi
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kengo_utahoshi.png]]
A second-year student who possesses the technology behind Fourze. He originally intended to become Fourze, but because of his weak constitution he was forced to pass the Fourze Driver onto Gentaro. He acts as Gentaro's technical support instead.
----
* EleventhHourSuperpower: [[spoiler:Once he's awakened as the Core Child, Kengo is able to throw Sagittarius and Leo around with a wave of his hand. Unfortunately, Sagittarius Nova is still stronger.]]
* AliensAmongUs: [[spoiler:Kengo is actually a Core Child, a cosmic energy construct sent by the Presenter to study any species capable of reverse engineering the Core Switch and returning to their homeworld with it. This means he was unknowing an alien the entire time.]]
* AmbiguouslyHuman: [[spoiler:He may or may not be human after being resurrected at the end. While the Core Switch is nowhere to be found and he's no longer having his weak spells, Kengo is unsure whether or not he ''is'' now human.]]
* ArbitrarySkepticism: In a world where his schoolmates transform into [[MonsterOfTheWeek cosmic abominations]], a [[CoolGate locker in a forbidden room serves as a pathway]] to a lunar SpaceStation, and with his [[DisappearedDad late father's]] [[TragicKeepsake technology]] in the hands of an idiot superhero, Kengo stands out in his denial of the possibility of witchcraft and the supernatural. Not that it stops him from concurring that Tomoko has the ability to sense an Astro Switch's potential.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: Displays this by working out how to improve his old friend's running stance via physics, despite having never tried competitive running himself.
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:He gets revived thanks to Gamou transforming into Aquarius Zodiarts and using its healing powers to fix the Core Switch.]]
* BarrierWarrior: [[spoiler:With the Core Switch in him, he can create barriers of Cosmic Energy.]]
* BatmanCanBreatheInSpace: [[spoiler:Pulls off his astronaut helmet in #47--in front of Gentaro and Yuki--to show that he's not human.]]
* BeneathTheMask: Shown in #12 - despite trying to act calm and composed (even when his father's technology is in a hands of an IdiotHero), he breaks down in tears screaming that he doesn't want to die alone on the moon.
* CharacterTics: Playing with one of the Astro Switches in public. Sure it's only to show off the newest switch and lead into the ColdOpen at times, but still.
* CheshireCatGrin: Uncharacteristically sports one of these in #25 [[spoiler:as he drags JK off to pilot Power Dizer.]]
* ChildhoodFriends: He knew Rumi Egawa since they were in first grade.
* CoolGate: A locker on a forbidden room has one to a space station called the Rabbit Hatch. Yuki explains that this is because of the Astro Switches' power that connects it with the school.
* CreepyMonotone: How he starts talking in #47, giving us lines like this. ([[spoiler:Even if it is all an act to hide the pain he's going through]]):
-->[[spoiler:"The person you [Yuki and Gentaro] see in front of you is nothing more than a compilation of the data of your species."]]
-->[[spoiler:''(after Gentaro insists that he's his friend)'' "Friendship? I suppose I have processed that data too. I'm sure the Presenters will find your illogical existence to be intriguing."]]
-->[[spoiler:''(when asked if the Kamen Rider Club was meaningless)'' Yes. When I awakened as the Core Child, I lost all human emotions."]]
%%* DangerousSixteenthBirthday: Eighteenth.
* DefrostingIceQueen: King this time. Undergoing this courtesy to Gentaro. The first breakthrough is his acceptance of the Kamen Rider Club's existence and formally joining it for good at the end of #12. The second was in #19/#20 once he understands that he's always going to be good friends with Gentaro and his role as the strategist is never going to be replaced.
* {{Determinator}}: Persisted on trying to jam the Cosmic Switch into the Fourze Driver [[spoiler:to save a dying Gentaro]], despite the electrical discharge it gave. Not to mention the multiple times he tried using Medical Switch prior to that.
%%* {{Deuteragonist}}
* DisappearedDad: His dad was killed years ago by men who wanted the Astro Switches for themselves.
* EarlyBirdCameo: In the final episode of ''Series/KamenRiderOOO''.
* {{Expy}}: A combination of [[Series/KamenRiderDouble Philip]] (in genius wise and knowledge about key item which became the main theme of the series, and[[spoiler:status as MysteriousWaif]]) and [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Ankh]] ([[JerkWithAHeartOfGold personality]] wise).
** [[spoiler:Like both before him, he ends up dying near the finale.]]
** [[spoiler:However, as seen in final episode, [[BackFromTheDead he just approached Philip's image]]]].
* HiddenDepths: As stated in #35, he delved into drums a little.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Shown in #12 when he breaks down in tears exclaiming how he doesn't want to die alone on the moon and tearing down the Kamen Rider Club banner when he assumes that everyone has betrayed him or he assumes that no one wants to help him.
* InsistentTerminology: Constantly kept reminding the group that the gathering is not a club and Miu is not its president. He even lampshades this by asking how many times he's going to repeat it. Ultimately subverted in #12, when he finally accepts Gentaro's friendship and joins his Club.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Initially passed off as a morose {{jerkass}} who wants to be left alone and keeps denying the Club's existence, but is subsequently shown to have a softer side, evidenced by allowing Tomoko into the Club out of recognition for her ability to sense a Switch's potential and ultimately acknowledging the Club and becoming an official member at the end of #12.
** He'll have his jerk moments every now and then like #19-20, but he ultimately just wants to protect Gentaro.
* LivingMacGuffin
* ManlyTears: Shed these in #12 as his repressed feelings of loneliness comes to a head when he gets stranded in the Rabbit Hatch.
** And he cried these in #31-32 when [[spoiler:Gentaro was killed.]]
** Does this when [[spoiler:he tells Gentaro and Yuki that he doesn't want to leave the Earth and feels like he shouldn't be considered human due to him being nothing more than Cosmic Energy.]]
* MeaningfulName: His name contains the kanji for "star/planet", which fits with Fourze's space theme. [[spoiler:It also relates to how he came from the stars themselves due to being the avatar of the Core Switch.]]
* MissionControl: When not piloting the Powerdizer, he can communicate with Fourze from the Rabbit Hatch while monitoring the equipment and Gentaro's vital signs.
* MysteriousWaif
* MythologyGag: [[spoiler:The one time he uses the Fourze Driver, he uses [[Series/KamenRiderBlade Blade]]'s transformation pose; contrast with Gentaro, who uses Garren's.]]
* NotSoAboveItAll: Despite not wanting to get into the Club's shenanigans, at first, he's somehow strung up to go into costume and play along.
** In #13, he's dressed like a construction worker and then Miura for Yuki's "Youth Theater" production.
** In #24, he dresses up to help Eguchi become a 'hero'. This then continues onto #25, when he goes along with Yuki's idea to [[spoiler:promote JK to being ''Power Dizer's pilot!'']]
** In #28 - Funny Face Competition, anyone?
** The last leg switch-#39 Stamper-stamps the logo of the Kamen Rider Club on the enemy, which he is ''very'' proud of.
** He apparently joins the Yuki and Tomoko's band by being their drummer.
** [[spoiler:After being revived he joins Gentaro and Yuki's "Uchu Kita!"]]
* OnlySaneMan: Becomes this in #9 thanks to the Altar Zodiarts acting as the force behind the "supernatural powers" of a "witch's coven".
* PlayingSick: He constantly skips classes and states that he practically ''lives'' in the nurse's office. This could be justified at him constantly going to the Rabbit Hatch to keep an eye on Zodiarts attacks.
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue to Gentaro's red. (One of two)
* RefusedByTheCall: Although the Rider Switches were originally given to him, his health does not permit him to become Fourze. He's ''not'' happy about it one bit. #47 explains about this, [[spoiler:since he's the avatar of the Core Switch, he needed lots and lots of Cosmic Energy before he could return to space and reunite with the presenters.]]
* RegularCaller: Like [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Ankh]] before him, Kengo seems to be able to sense when a Zodiarts is active. The [[RobotBuddy Burgermeal]] [[SurveillanceDrone Foodroid]] probably has something to do with it.
* TheReveal: [[spoiler:He's the Core Child, the avatar for the Core Switch.]]
* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: Savvy Guy to both Yuki and Rumi's Energetic Girl.
* SayMyName: At the end of #31 [[spoiler:after seeing Gentaro ''die by Meteor's hands'']], "KISARAGI!"
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: His name is an anagram for [[Series/KamenRider Takeshi Hongou]], the first Kamen Rider.
* ShipTease: He may have feelings for Yuki, based on the way doges the subject When Miu asks him about it.
* TheSmartGuy: He provides a lot of exposition on Fourze's Switches and the Zodiarts. He's also responsible for fixing the Switches to add them to Gentaro's arsenal.
* NotSoStoic:
** In #7, he [[ActuallyPrettyFunny tries to suppress a chuckle]] after seeing [[FaceDoodling Shun with a moustache painted on him]] by Gentaro as payback for throwing away his detention papers. And in #8, he actually ''laughs'' after hearing Yuki's reason for going to detention.
** [[spoiler:He's about to cry when he sees Gentaro being killed by Ryusei in #31.]]
* TheStrategist: Takes care of strategies on how to defeat the Zodiarts.
* TakeUpMySword: Explained in #11 - back when he was a freshman, he was given a letter about a special switch and a special program known as Fourze. Then Yuki arrives and they journey into the Rabbit Hatch together. Upon learning about his father's work, Kengo decides to face the Zodiarts head on.
* TechnoWizard: Not only does he fine tune the Switches, but he also makes the Foodroids based off of Yuki's designs for them.
* TellMeAboutMyFather: visits an old friend of his father at Kyoto for this reason.
* TomatoInTheMirror: [[spoiler:After his discovery in #46.]]
* UndyingLoyalty: Even when the rest of the Kamen Rider Club splits [[spoiler:and both Ryusei and Tomoko in the Dark Nebula]], Kengo sticks with Gentaro through it all, stating that he'd even go to hell with Gentaro if need be.
* UnknownRival: Nonomura (Lynx Zodiarts) considers himelf Kengo's "self-proclaimed" rival. Kengo, however, doesn't know or is too busy to even notice.
* UnwantedAssistance: He ''hates'' Ryusei for tampering with the Switches. Then he learns from Ryusei that Gentaro asked him personally to help testing them due to Kengo's health.
** The reason why Kengo got pissed off at the use of the Magnet State? They were dangerous and he didn't want Gentaro to be damaged from using them too soon.
* WhatTheHellHero: Chews out Ryusei in #19 for tampering with the Switches, then angrily calls Gentaro an idiot for messing with the Magnet Switches despite his warnings ([[spoiler:it didn't help that they got flung far away]]). He ultimately gets better after Ryusei, ''of all people'', chews him out in return for claiming he doesn't need friends (reminding Ryusei of an argument he had with Jiro on the day he tried to activate a Zodiarts Switch). He and Gentaro ultimately make amends once the latter finally learns to properly use Magnet State.
** [[spoiler:In #32 once Ryusei’s identity as Kamen Rider Meteor is revealed. Kengo angrily chews out Ryusei for killing Gentaro as part of a deal with Aries in order to save Jiro. He calls out his trading a friend’s life for another is an unforgivable act.]]

!!!'''Portrayed by''': Fumika Shimizu
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yuki_jojima.png]]
A second-year student and Gentaro's childhood friend. She is a self-professed space {{Otaku}}, and is the first to learn of Kengo's secret base.
----
* AscendedFanboy: she achieves her childhood dream of being an astronaut in ''Ultimatum''.
* BreakTheCutie:
** #11-12 put her through the ringer temporarily. [[spoiler:She accidentally causes the locker to be missing-one due to her lie to Ohsugi, the other due to letting Makise/Pyxis Zodiarts destroy what was supposedly their locker-and tries to ask the director to lend a rocket to save Kengo even though that would mean risking the discovery of the Rabbit Hutch and then breaks down into tears upon fearing that she can't save Kengo.]]
** In #43, [[spoiler:Yuki is forced to become a Zodiarts. It wasn't pretty, even compared to previous ones.]]
** Everything goes FromBadToWorse in #44. [[spoiler:First, she watched helplessly as Dark Yuki spends dinner with her own family and gets tricked into taking Gemini's switch just as Gentaro and co. enter and mistake her for the dark one. Then, she finds that she's starting to lose her own memories and Dark Yuki's gaining hers. And then finally, she gets the crap beaten out of her by Gentaro using Claw, Scissor, Spike, and Chainsaw with the icing on the cake being a limit break being used on her. And Dark Yuki was just doing it ForTheEvulz!]]
** In #47, [[spoiler:she tries to sing her Hayabusa-san, but you can see her trying not to cry because this is the last time she's ever going to see Kengo again. Not to mention that he trashed her birthday gift from two episodes ago.]]
* ChildhoodFriends: With Gentaro.
* CloudCuckooLander: Some of her antics point to this. #23 for example, has her going along with [[spoiler:Kijima/Cancer Zodiarts' rakugo routine.]]
* CooldownHug: Miu gives her one as she breaks down in fear that she can't save Kengo from being trapped on the moon.
* TheCuckoolanderWasRight: So early into #43, yet she was right about guessing how it was a doppelganger that framed her for vandalizing the school.
* DependingOnTheWriter: The show's two primary writers handled Yuki's personality in different ways. Kazuki Nakashima tended to focus on her role as TheHeart of the KRC, while Riku Sanjou focused on the "ditzy space otaku" aspect, which gave us the infamous Aquarius two-parter.
* {{Determinator}}: Shown in #38 that this is one of her main traits. [[spoiler:What Erin thought Yuki deliberately hid the camera parts for the robot to make her look bad was actually a SecretTestOfCharacter for the team. Yuki was specifically ''instructed'' to do so and became determined to make up for their loss by being a team leader and creating the cat robot in the previous episode. Gentaro noted that by doing this, she would be downright '''hated''' by everyone else, but she didn't mind. As long as she could help her team, she would go through it.]]
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: She sure does undress pretty sensually...
* DreadfulMusician: Played with; she's got a cute voice, but her Hayabusa song isn't that well liked. The Glee Club ponders why she couldn't do anything more traditional, Motoyama despises it, some characters in a FunnyBackgroundEvent in #15 just laugh at her and walk away, and the events of the Queen Fest involving that song didn't end well.
** Averted in #16 as the Kindergarten class loves it.
* EarlyBirdCameo: In the final episode of ''Series/KamenRiderOOO''. She also appears in Fourze's own EarlyBirdCameo, the ''Wonderful'' movie, via the Radar Switch.
* EnemyWithout: [[spoiler:Leo and Libra force Yuki to activate a Zodiarts Switch, and the dark aspects of her personality took form as Gemini.]]
* {{Flanderization}}: In the first several episodes, Yuki was a GenkiGirl that liked space and wanted to be an astronaut, but was still relatively down-to-earth and functioned as a pacifier between Gentaro and Kengo. Her space enthusiasm has pretty much her only defining character trait, so much so that she literally worships "Rocket God" in a story arc, and has pretty much become a gibbering PluckyComicRelief. Compare her character now with how she was in the first 16 or so episodes, it's really jarring.
** She still has some scenes of her being TheHeart. In #34, she gives Yukina a heartfelt speech as to why Fourze was needed and in the same episode with "Rocket God", she explains that her GenkiGirl attitude is to lift everyone's spirits.
** This could be seen as a case of DependingOnTheWriter, however, as main writer Nakashima tends to emphasize her role as TheHeart whereas secondary writer Sanjo prefers CharacterExaggeration.
** [[spoiler:With her being one-half of the Gemini Zodiarts, they could've been foreshadowing this all along.]]
* GenkiGirl: Don't believe us? Go see the opening of #9.
** This is slightly {{Deconstructed}} in #43-44 with [[spoiler:the Gemini Zodiarts taunting her about how she really wants to do evil things--like cheating Kengo out of going to NASA, pulling pranks on her friends, hurting Miu--and that she hides it under a chipper mask]].
* HiddenDepths: She draws the designs for the Foodroids as seen in #19.
* ItRunsInTheFamily: Her parents are [[LargeHam hams]] just like her as seen in #43-44.
* MeaningfulName: You can [[SignificantAnagram rearrange the letters]] in her name to say, when translated, "I am Gemini".]]
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: In #11, she requested Makise's help to find the locker that connected to the Rabbit Hatch, only to turn out that he is the Pyxis Zodiarts, who then ''destroys the locker in a fiery blaze'', stranding Kengo on the moon. #12 reveals, however, that it was a different one: [[spoiler:Ohsugi-sensei believed Yuki's lie, then swapped the sign she put on the locker and placed it to another one before disposing of it (thankfully [[ChekhovsGun Tomoko's drawing ultimately saved the day]])]].
** And speaking of Ohsugi-sensei, [[spoiler:the only reason he knew about the Rabbit Hatch was because he followed Kengo. And the reason he followed Kengo? ''Because he heard Yuki scream Rabbit Hatch over the NS Magphone and went to go search for it!'' Although that actually turned out to be for the better since they now have a faculty adviser.]]
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: That whole crisis with the Pyxis Zodiarts, where her usual hyper-active mood is gone. But, really, can you blame her?
** And let's not forget all the crap with the Gemini Zodiarts...
* {{Otaku}}: Self-described, for anything related to space travel. She even makes it her dream to travel to space (despite the fact that she can do it by going through Kengo's cool locker) going as far in #21 in planning on going to a college that idealizes in space travel.
** In #8, her obsession was such that she ended up joining detention after she got caught trying to place an unregistered space-related book-most likely hers-into a library shelf.
** She even knows how to make homemade space food as seen in #7. Twenty episodes later has her making hot pot with food ''in the shape of planets''!
** There's also her [[ItMakesSenseInContext costume and song of Hayabusa]]. Not to mention her stuffed Hayabusa toy.
** She's even read [[spoiler:Gamou's]] book "Voice from Distant Cosmos" thousands of times.
** By #36, she's officially passed an astronaut exam to get into space.
** She reveals her story in #43 [[spoiler:She heard a voice from space and that inspired her to go there...but she wasn't the only one that's heard it...]]
* RedOniBlueOni: The red to Miu's blue.
* RefugeInAudacity: If you're going to put your own books into the library, you may as well wear a space shuttle hat. That seems to be the general rule (just make sure no one sees you do it though).
* RousingSpeech: As part of being TheHeart of the group. She convinced Kengo that everyone in the Club was really helping him out, and convinced the Glee Club to sing their hearts out to make up for Motoyama being a Zodiarts. Not to mention that she helps Yukina realize who Gentaro truly was in #34.
* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: Energetic Girl to Kengo's Savvy Guy. (One of two)
* SecretKeeper: She and Kengo stumbled onto the locker that lead onto the Rabbit Hatch and kept it a secret since - Gentaro stumbled into it from #1 and has been responsible for leading the rest of Kamen Rider Club to it since then.
* ShipTease: with Gentaro, during the Gemini arc. Look at that childhood flashback!
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: Much more blatant than the other Rider Club members, as her name is literally Joji Yuki from Series/KamenRiderV3 with some added letters.
* SitcomArchnemesis: Initially establishes herself as this to Miu moments after the latter became the newest member of the Club, though they gradually mellow out into full-fledged friendship. Kengo lampshaded it in #5 when the girls engage in yet another LightningGlare:
-->"How long are you two going to keep this up?"
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Played with. She was the only girl in the Glee Club shown in #15-16 since there are only male students left.
* SupremeChef: Played with; she can make pretty good space food, and her galaxy hot pot was said to be tasty by Gentaro's grandfather. She can also make a good congee (a rice soup for the sick) as shown in #46.
* UnknownRival: Erin Suda (Aquarius Zodiarts) is gunning to beat her in the mock space exam. Yuki, however, doesn't notice or is too oblivious to realize this.
* WhatTheHellHero: Miu pulls this off to Yuki while [[spoiler:she asks Mituaki for a rocket to save Kengo on the moon, asking why she'd risk the teachers knowing about the Rabbit Hatch]], before [[CoolDownHug embracing her]] once she sees Yuki about to go down in tears.

!!Miu Kazashiro
!!!'''Portrayed by''': Rikako Sakata
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/miu_kazashiro.png]]
A third-year student and "Queen" of Amanogawa High. She is the head cheerleader, and looks down upon the rest of the student body. After a gradual change of heart following a humiliating expose of her attitude towards her fans, she becomes the fourth member (and self-proclaimed President) of the Kamen Rider Club.
-----
* ActionDressRip: Does this to her prom dress in #26.
* ActionGirl: While not as effective a fighter as Gentaro and Shun, she's not afraid to join the fray. To wit, she managed to distract a few Zodiarts long enough for the combat-capable members to show up and pull a BigDamnHeroes in the Powerdizer.
* AllGuysWantCheerleaders: She and Shun are the school's power couple. Gentaro thinks she's a babe, too.
* AlphaBitch: Miu possesses all the qualities of one, a high social status because of her upper-class family, the head cheerleader and the most popular girl that she's considered the "Queen of the School". While starting out very prideful and arrogant she does mellow out a bit (although still keeping her sense of superiority.
* LovableAlphaBitch: After [[TookALevelInKindness taking a level in kindness]] and joining the Kamen Rider Club. She mellows out a bit and becomes less arrogant although still retaining her elitist attitude ([[RuleOfFunny this time for played for more comedic effect]]). Despite that she's a dependable member of the club and becomes its de facto leader after proclaiming herself it's "president".
* BadassBoast: To ''Meteor'' of all people.
-->'''Miu''': We won't bow down to you. We're the Kamen Rider Club.
* BigDamnHeroes: In #8, she saves Gentaro by beating the crap out of both the Hound ''and'' Scorpion Zodiarts by using Powerdizer the first time, but collapsed shortly thereafter due to the massive strain it caused on her body.
* BigShutUp: Does this to the whole school council in #4 [[MundaneMadeAwesome by slamming her crutch onto the ground]].
* BreakTheHaughty: At the end of #3, a hidden-camera footage (recorded in secret by [[GreenEyedMonster Tamae]]) is played in the middle of the BeautyContest of which she is a participant, showing her on poolside (together with her GirlPosse) throwing away fan letters and gifts during the Queen Festival, turning a lot of students against her. She wins them back by explaining that she dislikes people who give gifts because it makes them look self-serving, instead encouraging them to do things that help improve themselves. Not to mention a lot of the people who gave gifts didn't bother considering her personal tastes.
* CatchPhrase:
-->"[[GratuitousEnglish Oops.]]"
* ClubPresident: Self-proclaimed, despite Kengo (initially) [[InsistentTerminology saying otherwise]]. This also means that she can round up the troops and mobilize them into action when necessary, and also takes over as mission control at the Rabbit Hutch when Kengo is out with Gentaro.
* CutenessProximity: She has a soft spot for the Foodroids, stating how cute they are in their debut episodes. The one that's attached to her the most is Potechokin, who was helping her ''pack up'' in #26.
* {{Determinator}}: #4's climax has her-after being mortally wounded by Tamae/Chameleon Zodiarts-walking toward the stage, dressed up and bandaged, proudly proclaiming why she acted to rude the episode before ''while using a crutch to support her''.
* TheFace: Unlike the others who have their own quirks, she is rather levelheaded during a crisis and as club president gives an air of respectability to the Kamen Rider Club.
* GirlPosse: Used to lead a three-girl cheerleader squad.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: Gives this to the Hound Zodiarts.
* {{Hypocrite}}: In #25, she chews Shun out for thinking about himself and the prom when more important things are happening; at the same time she's very upset when Yuki eagerly takes up the reins of leadership for the Club because it makes her feel like the others didn't need her at all.
* IShallTauntYou: Did this to Chameleon Zodiarts to push herself off a ledge, knowing full well that Gentaro would save her.
* IronicEcho: In #1, she calls Gentaro "Trashiest of Trash" when they first met (the guy thought [[ComicallyMissingThePoint she means "Man among Men"]]). Four episodes later, when Shun also said Gentaro is trash, Miu replies:
-->"I wonder if that means 'Man among Men'."
** Gets another CallBack in #26, where [[spoiler:Miu gets her prom dance with Gentaro and remarks "Who would have thought the school's Queen would dance with trash?" Gentaro asks if it's okay, and she responds that she couldn't be happier.]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She seems like a stuck-up snob, but she's not that bad of a person. She just doesn't appreciate the attention people heap on her because she feels they're shallow and are just being self-serving. Come #4, she wins back her estranged fans by confessing that she doesn't like being showered with praise, and that she'd rather see them improve themselves instead of looking up to someone else.
** She's definitely come a long way since #3. She's more cheerful in #7 explaining to Shun via phone that she's having lots of fun in the club, and next episode has her coming in to save Gentaro from two Zodiarts.
** Which comes full circle in #25-26 when [[spoiler:Miu wanted to dance with Gentaro at the prom]].
* PassingTheTorch: [[spoiler:In #25, she states that she's given the duty of ClubPresident to Yuki once she and Shun graduate.]]
* PillarsOfMoralCharacter: When Kengo asks why she's so into the idea of leading the Kamen Rider Club, she says it's the duty of the school's queen to look out for the other students. This goes into JumpedAtTheCall levels in #7, where she confronts the Hound Zodiarts with none but JK in tow.
** Come #8 and she saves Gentaro by using Powerdizer probably to repay his rescue of her in #4.
* PluckyGirl:
** In #7, she confronted the Hound Zodiarts completely unarmed, and in #8 piloted the Powerdizer to save Gentaro despite the strain it took on her.
** In #12, she tries to stop a bus [[spoiler:carrying her and many of her female schoolmates driving off an unfinished highway long enough for Shun to [[BigDamnHeroes come in the nick of time]]]].
* PoweredArmor: In #8 she uses the Powerdizer to save Gentaro but just like Kengo isn't able to last in it for long as she gets scalded from the amount of heat it generates. In the movie, she's able to get her own proper Power Dizer unit called the "Queen Dizer" which is white/red colored and has two [[GatlingGood gatling guns]] mounted on its left arm.
* PutOnABus: [[spoiler:Graduates in #26 with Shun, however its subverted as both eventually return when they realize their college is only near Amanogawa, which means they can resume their duties at the club.]]
* RuleOfThree: Lead a band of three cheerleaders, won the Queen festival three times in a row, is the third member of the Kamen Rider Club to officially join, and gets into altercations with three Zodiarts (Chameleon, Hound, and Pyxis).
* SheIsNotMyGirlfriend: In #5, Shun tries charming her back, saying that the school's King and Queen should always be at one another's sides. Miu points out that all he cares about is status (as seen last episode, when he goes after Tamae, who became the new prospective Queen after [[BreakTheHaughty the events of #3]]) and shoots him down. Interestingly, she dangles this trope between Kengo and Yuki later on.
* ShipTease: [[spoiler:In #25, she says wanted Gentaro to dance with her at the prom; come next episode, she explains that a prom is supposed to be a lasting memory of high school, and she wanted to dance with the person who had most impacted her life.]]
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: To [[Series/{{Kamen Rider V3}} Shiro Kazami]]. With a StealthPun, since Kengo isn't a true member until #12, and that means Miu is the ''third'' character to join the club.
* SitcomArchnemesis: Initially became this to Yuki moments after formally joining the Club.
* SneezeCut: After Yuki talks about her in #33. You can see the Rabbit Hatch blowing its top from the sneeze alone!
* TakeThatAudience: Done ''InUniverse'' in #4.

[[folder:JK]]
!!JK[[spoiler:/Kaizou Jingu]]
!!!'''Portrayed by''': Shion Tsuchiya
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jk_fourze.png]]
A first-year boy, then later second-year, who acts as an "information broker", trading secrets and rumors for favors, as well as a sneaky trickster. After being saved by Fourze from the Unicorn Zodiarts and realizing the value of true friendship, he becomes the fifth member of the Kamen Rider Club and its intelligence agent.
----
* ADayInTheLimelight: Is the central character of #35/#36, exploring both his backstory and relationship with the rest of the club.
* BreakTheCutie: [[spoiler:Tojiro Goto/Capricorn Zodiarts is his best friend and wants to reunite their old singing duo. But when JK realizes the music is hurting people--three of them being Yuki, Tomoko and Kengo being obsessed with rocking out--he wants to cancel it. Then Goto brings up what happened to JK's father and he then admits to Gentaro that he's scared of losing his only chance to be a rockstar and adds that the futility of friendship was useless once they graduated. In the end, Gentaro went all the way to learn the song JK's father used to sing and told him that it was better to use his own talent and skill to be famous.]]
* ButtMonkey: Used to be one, by way of Gentaro dragging him along (usually by [[EarAche the ears]]) whenever he needs information from him, or when he brings him over to the Rabbit Hatch to become the fifth member of the Kamen Rider Club. As evidenced in #17, he ''still'' gets his share of [[EarAche ear tugging]] by Tomoko. And in #25, he's [[spoiler:''forced to operate Power Dizer''!]]
* CampStraight: His usual outfit and mannerisms are quite... colorful.
* CatapultNightmare: In #36 he has a dream where he's on stage about to sing, but Gentaro's words about trampling over his own friends echo in his head. [[spoiler:Cue him standing on top of lifeless/zombified Kengo and Tomoko and then seeing a lifeless Yuki collapse on top of him as he turns around.]]
* CharacterTics: As DJ Gene, he has a special whistle.
* ComedicSociopathy: Before joining the Club, he seems to enjoy the sight of someone getting beaten up or humiliated in front of him.
* CryIntoChest: Does this in the end of #36 when [[spoiler:Gentaro forgives him for quitting the Kamen Rider Club and for aiding the Capricorn Zodiarts.]]
* TheCynic: [[spoiler:His personal view of high-school life, viewing it as just short time in one's life that is forgotten about once its over. Opening up about this to the club causes him to improve his outlook, however.]]
* DamselInDistress: He's the one that was captured by Lynx Zodiarts in #17 when the Zodiarts could've just gone for the female members of the club.
* DanceBattler: Subverted. JK's not one for battling, but those breakdance moves were ''really'' helpful when Pegasus Zodiarts tried to kill him in #22. Also counts as a ChekhovsSkill since it was first seen in the opening. He even uses them when he is [[spoiler:the temporary pilot of the Power Dizer in #26.]]
* {{Deconstruction}}: His whole party attitude is just a mask to hide what is left of his dream to be a rock star. He looks up to his rock star father, but the father was said to be a failure and JK wants to get his dream started before he loses his only chance. His idea of friendship is also put into view--he states that high school is just a short episode of life and that people grow up, separate and they never see their friends again.
* DirtyCoward: Used Nitta as a HumanShield in the past against a bunch of bullies. The latter didn't take it well.
* DreadfulMusician: What Gentaro thinks of his karaoke singing. This gets a CerebusRetcon in #35: [[spoiler:He wants to follow in his rock star father's footsteps, but his complete inability to sing well pretty much shattered that dream. He adopted the identity of DJ Gene to try to hold on to as much of the dream as possible.]]
* EasilyForgiven: [[spoiler:Gentaro forgives him even after leaving the Kamen Rider Club and aiding Capricorn Zodiarts in #36. Cue CryIntoChest.]]
* FalseFriend: Tried to be close to Gentaro, then stole the Elek Switch to use it to defend himself against Nitta. The trope then turns the gun on him when Nitta, to whom JK once also served as this, kidnaps him and then reveals how his "friends" are nothing but these when he lets him contact them before Nitta kills him, only for them to turn him down. He ultimately gets better after seeing Gentaro [[ThePowerOfFriendship come back for him]].
* GlassCannon: [[spoiler:Using the Power Dizer, he's able to attack quickly and with a great variety of moves thanks to his break-dancing background. Unfortunately, after one use he's exhausted and is later shown asleep in the mecha.]]
* HiddenDepths: #35 gives him a better backstory. He wanted to be a rockstar/DJ as a kid, but his first time doing so with a friend had them laughing at him and calling him ridiculous since he didn't sing well.
* HumanShield: He used Nitta as one as explained in #5-6. In an ironic twist, ''he'' becomes the shield for Lynx Zodiarts around ten episodes later.
* HumblePie: In #6, being tied up by Nitta and given one hour to call one of his "friends" to save him reduces him to a wreck when he finds ''no one'' willing to come to his rescue...until Gentaro arrives, that is.
* KidAnova: Always surrounded by girls. A trailer for the show described him as "the school playboy".
* KnowledgeBroker: Comes in handy when the Kamen Rider Club can't identify students. He's also been known to use the Burger Foodroid for taking pictures and recording Zodiarts attacks. His info ranges from knowing Ritsuko's Goth posse, somehow able to get around twenty female students' phone numbers and even getting info from other people if he can't find anything on a student.
* LargeHam: Shion Tsuchiya is a very animated performer, in short.
* LifeOfTheParty: As shown in #5, his parties are immensely popular. He even has a Christmas version of the party as shown in #15, explaining his absence.
* LovableCoward: After joining the Kamen Rider Club, though there are times where he musters up courage.
* ManlyTears: Starts shedding these when [[spoiler:Gentaro was killed and discovering that Ryusei did the deed in #31.]]
* MeaningfulName: [[spoiler:His family name, Jingu, sounds similar to 'Jingle' relating to his dream of being a rockstar.]]
* NonActionGuy: Rather than fight, he gives out information regarding students in the school. Subverted in #25 [[spoiler:where Kengo announces that he's been promoted to ''Power Dizer'' driver.]]
* NonUniformUniform: His is more decorated with the neon hoodie he wears.
* NoodleIncident: Capricorn Zodiarts brings JK back in line with him when he mentions about what happened to JK's rockstar father although the audience doesn't hear it. #36 explains it a bit: [[spoiler:For whatever reason he had to abandon his dream, and works as a fisherman now.]]
* OnlyKnownByInitials: Though he pronounces it as "Jake". [[spoiler:We find out his real name in #36, but the initials in Japanese order are the same.]]
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Finally grows a pair and is the ''first'' to stand up to [[spoiler:Yamada/Aries Horoscopes after the death of Gentaro]] in #32.
* ThePowerOfFriendship:
** Ultimately realizes the value of true friendship after Fourze saves him from Nitta.
** In #35, he shows his negativity towards it and tells Gentaro that eventually everyone in high school grows up, separate and they never see each other again, [[spoiler:but after Gentaro makes him see the light, he decides to focus on spending more time with them.]]
* RealMenWearPink: He's usually seen wearing nail polish.
* SomethingOnlyTheyWouldSay: Gentaro figures out that JK is DJ Gene when JK successfully tells the title of the ''enka'' song "Cape Friendship" that someone kept requesting online.
* SadClown: Underneath the light-hearted jokester is [[spoiler:a kid struggling with his broken dreams as a muscian, leaving him deeply cynical about personal relationships and dreams.]]
* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: #11 shows this.
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: Spells his name with the initials of [[Series/KamenRiderX Jin Keisuke]]. And in #35, [[spoiler:he's revealed to be secretly DJ Gene, read the same as Jin. His real name is Kaizou Jingu (Jingu Kaizou), sharing the same initials, and sounding like "Kaizorg", which Kamen Rider X was.]]
* StepfordSmiler: While he's usually a happy and easygoing person, he doesn't like showing any negative emotions. When he's scared, upset, or sad, he has a specific smile that he uses to hide how he's feeling. Kengo even calls him out on it [[spoiler:in his goodbye letter]], saying that he should show people how he really feels.
* TokenEvilTeammate: While not to a fatal extent, he ''has'' been the one most likely to sell out his friends on several occasions.
* TookALevelInBadass: No joke. He starts off as a cowardly kid who runs away at the sight of panic, but will go out on his way to find information on Zodiarts. Jump to Episodes 25-26 and he's promoted to the pilot of Power Dizer in Shun's absence, and starts beating the Zodiarts by ''break dancing''. Unfortunately, he doesn't have Shun's endurance and after one use he's already nodding off to sleep. Also, he [[spoiler:was the first person to stand up to Aries Zodiarts and commented that the script he made was trash. And he's getting his own Power Dizer unit for the movie--the JK Dizer.]] By the time of ''Movie Wars Ultimatum'', he's capable of kicking ass with some breakdancing moves.

[[folder:Shun Daimonji]]
!!Shun Daimonji
!!!'''Portrayed by''': Justin Tomimori
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shun_daimonji.png]]
A third-year student and "King" of Amanogawa High. He is the captain and quarterback of the American Football team, and a stereotypical JerkJock. After helping Gentaro defeat the Hound Zodiarts and realizing the need to take control of his own life, he becomes the sixth member of the Kamen Rider Club and replaces Kengo as the pilot of the Powerdizer.
----
* ArmorPiercingQuestion: [[IdiotHero Gentaro]] asks him one in regards to Shun supposedly being the star quarterback of the football team.
-->'''Gentaro:''' Is there even an athlete that doesn't make his own decisions?
* TheAtoner: In #13-14, he tries to set things right with Miura, whom he wronged so badly the latter became the Orion Zodiarts.
* BadassFingerSnap: How he commands the rest of the football team.
* BecomingTheMask: A more positive version; in #25, he says that initially was only interested in Miu because his father insisted that "a King should have a Queen", but over time he developed genuine feelings for her, which is why he spends a good portion of his time in the Club trying to get back together with her.
* BerserkButton: As seen in #12, deliberately trying to hurt girls (especially Miu) genuinely ticks him off. [[spoiler:Makise should be grateful he didn't sic Powerdizer on him.]]
* BerserkerTears: Sheds these in #32 after [[spoiler:learning that Kamen Rider Meteor was Ryusei...who had just killed Gentaro and is about to kill Ryusei for it (while in the Power Dizer)]]
-->'''Shun: You [[spoiler:(Ryusei)]] killed him...[[spoiler:'''YOU KILLED GENTARO!!!''']]
* BigDamnHeroes: The Powerdizer's primary role. [[spoiler:In #12 he stops a bus full of girls whom Makise puppet-controlled into entering to lead them to their deaths on an unfinished bridge.]]
* TheBigGuy: He's the most physically fit member of the team, the primary user of the [[MiniMecha Powerdizer]] once he joins, and the most willing non-Rider member to fight a Zodiarts.
* ButNotTooForeign: He is played by half-Caucasian actor Justin Tomimori. [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] in #24 when he [[ItMakesSenseInContext dresses up as a foreigner.]]
* ButtMonkey:
** Turning into this in his pursuit of getting back together with Miu in #25. And he gets outdone by [[spoiler:[[Series/KamenRiderWizard a passing Haruto with his pretty ring just as he's proposing to Miu!]]]]
** In the Net Movies, when he competes in the "Horoscopes Ogiri", he becomes the the subject of abuse from Aries, Cancer and Virgo.
* CallingTheOldManOut: He finally gets to tell his father what he feels about his upbringing, decides that he'll make friends with whomever he wants, take control of his own destiny, and destroys the dedication statue meant for him while in Powerdizer.
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: He can execute a tackle on Fourze ''with Rocket ignited'', push a giant roller while Gentaro, Yuki and Kengo struggle to even make it budge, and - once he joins the Kamen Rider Club - can drive the Powerdizer without much physical strain. On one glorious moment, he even [[spoiler:stops a ''telekinetically-controlled bus from falling off an unfinished bridge'']].
** [[spoiler:He's even strong enough to punch Gentaro IN KAMEN RIDER ARMOR hard enough to make him hit the floor (and Shun walked away with bloody knuckles)]].
* ChessMotifs: In keeping with his role as "King" of the school; naturally, he treats nearly everyone else as a pawn due to his father's Machiavellian upbringing.
* TheComicallySerious: With Kengo shown to be NotSoStoic, it looks like Shun is getting this role instead. Case in point: #8 shows him calmly making a phone call despite having been dragged into the sky by a Rocket-powered Kamen Rider, getting ''shot out of said sky and hurled into a tree'', still covered in twigs and leaves to boot.
* DumbJock: For a star athlete, Shun is actually a slow learner, though he makes up for it with a retentive memory.
* FirstNameBasis: As part of Shun's Character Development and opening up to the team, he starts calling Gentaro by his real name (and not by calling him "trash").
* {{Flanderization}}: After the early episodes, Shun's character ends up mostly reduced to his incredibly over-the-top attempts to win back Miu.
* FreudianExcuse: His JerkJock persona was founded on his struggles to live up to his father's Machiavellian upbringing. It comes to the point that his father tells him what to do (i.e., hooking up with Miu, his plays, keeping Miura benched, etc.) for almost everything just to make sure he remains the King. He also expressed regret over Miura becoming the Orion Zodiarts out of bitterness over his situation.
* GentleGiant: One of the most physically-imposing members of the Club, but is also known to be a softie.
* GiantRobotHandsSaveLives: The Powerdizer's ''secondary'' role.
* GoodFeelsGood: When he joins the Kamen Rider Club, Gentaro tells him that he won't get any recognition for saving the city, but ''he'll'' know he's doing the right thing. Shun replies that it sounds pretty good to him.
** In #25, he tells Gentaro that being part of the Club makes him feel like he actually accomplished something during his time at school.
* GrandRomanticGesture: At the beginning of #25, in trying to ask Miu to the prom. And that is nothing compared to his backup plan [[MundaneUtility involving Fourze]], ''yet''.
** And for those who want to know what's his backup plan was, it involved getting Fourze to use the Scoop Switch to dig out the words LOVE (in capitals) along for the characters for Miu with a heart in between them. Once Miu saw this, Fourze would use Rocket to raise Shun in the air while he proposed to her. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, Shun starts going into BigNo mode when his daydream ends with Miu berating Gentaro for digging on school grounds.]]
%% commented out dual-trope; see Administrivia/HowToWriteAnExample, be specific * GrassIsGreener[=/=]GreenEyedMonster: Ultimately confesses to Gentaro that his antagonism to the Kamen Rider Club stems from his jealousy over that fact that its members have great chemistry and are having so much fun - in stark contrast to his growing alienation from his own team. In fact, an altercation with a teammate who complained that their style (devised by his father) is boring is what got him sent over to detention in the first pace. All he wants to do is [[IJustWantToHaveFriends actually have fun with them instead of insist on treating them like pawns on a chessboard]].
* GuileHero: Even as a good guy, he still knows how to push people's buttons, such as convincing the gullible Ohsugi-sensei to keep mum about his new association with Gentaro and company.
* {{Homage}}: With the reveal of his FreudianExcuse, Shun is basically a Kamen Rider version of Andrew from ''Film/TheBreakfastClub'' only with the GrassIsGreener trope above.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: He ''hates'' the Machiavellian philosophy his father is forcing onto him, because it ultimately alienates him from people. All he wants is actually have fun with his teammates and just play the game. Thanks to Gentaro, he finally is able to make friends and not worry too much about people not getting pissed off at him.
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: [[spoiler:Near the end of #26, he asks Gentaro to give Miu the dance she wanted, saying that Gentaro promised to make the prom night perfect and all Shun really wants is for Miu to smile.]]
* {{Irony}}: As Gentaro lampshades in #8. Shun's supposed to be a quarterback - the team strategist - yet has to rely on his own father for decision-making from being on the football team, benching Miura and deciding who he should date. It's also telling that his jersey number is ''2'' despite being the star of his team. It's either a reference to his namesake Ichimonji Hayato's designation as Rider-2, or foreshadowing him being the TheLancer.
* ItsPersonal: His consternation for the Kamen Rider Club's antics reaches boiling point after Miu joins the Club and shoots down his attempt to win her back (with good reason), blaming it all on Gentaro.
** He also was just incredibly pissed off at Gentaro trying to act chummy around him, being the other reason why he clocked him in the head with a football just when Gentaro was about to defeat Hound Zodiarts.
* JerkJock: Deliberately sabotaged Fourze's attempt to stop the Hound Zodiarts, and set up the test that causes anyone who scores below 50% to attend remedial lessons every Sunday, knowing full well Gentaro can't pass and will be unable to be Fourze as a result out of spite. He's getting better, though, thanks to Gentaro.
** Comes full circle in #9, when he sees a fellow player turning down a girl he dated and remarks how he used to be like that.
** LovableJock: Once he's in the Kamen Rider Club.
* KnightInShiningArmor: [[spoiler:Saves Miu and many other girls shut-in on a bus bound to drive off an unfinished bridge in Powerdizer.]]
* LightningBruiser: Able to deliver powerful tackles under the Power Dizer without breaking a sweat and can even climb up buildings and flip in the air.
* MadeOfIron: Possibly so, given he's well enough to use the phone after getting hurled into a tree in #8, and well enough to work the Powerdizer in #10 despite getting caught in a fire previously.
* ManlyTears: Breaks down into these as he confesses his FreudianExcuse to Gentaro in #8. He does this again when [[spoiler:he lets Gentaro and Miu dance alone during Prom night even after he was trying his hardest to do so with Miu]]
** BerserkerTears: What he cries when [[spoiler:Gentaro is killed and finding out who Meteor was in #32.]]
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Despite [[NeverMyFault initially trying to deny responsibility for it]], he ultimately confesses to Gentaro that he feels great remorse for benching Miura (and in turn, driving him to become the Orion Zodiarts), knowing that he only obeyed his father's command.
* MythologyGag: His salute has been in ''Franchise/KamenRider'' before - it's [[Series/KamenRiderHibiki Hibiki]]'s {{Character Tic|s}}.
* NeverMyFault: Initially tried to deny responsibility for Miura's StartOfDarkness and subsequent hospitalization, until he goes on a breakdown due to suffering dissonance between obeying his father and following his conscience.
* NumerologicalMotif: The number 2. His name is based on Hayato Ichimonji, his football number is ''2'', his finger salute uses two fingers, and he's shown with the #2 launcher switch.
* ThePlan: In #7, in a ploy to destroy the Kamen Rider Club, Shun asks Satake to keep anyone who didn't pass the exit review in Sunday Detentions, knowing full well that Gentaro was an idiot and could never get the 50% needed to pass. Unfortunately, after getting into altercations with Kamen Rider Fourze, Satake decides that all students were going to be kept in weekly special detention.
* PoweredArmor: Becomes the pilot of the Power Dizer after he's shown to be the only one strong and fit enough to use it regularly without much worry about his stamina or the amount of heat it generates.
* PutOnABus: [[spoiler:Graduates in #26, but eventually returns to the Club with Miu when they realize their college is only close to Amanogawa, thus they can resume their duties.]]
* TheQuietOne: Aside from Tomoko, he doesn't do a lot of talking once he gets into the Club. This could be justified as he might not be good at socializing due to his father's upbringing.
* RealMenWearPink: Head of the football team and main user of the Power Dizer is also the same one who is hugging onto a pink and white pillow when there is tension in the Kamen Rider Club.
* ScrewDestiny: In #8, he ultimately realizes he needs to assert control over his own life instead of mindlessly obeying his father.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: His first answer to when a Zodiarts shows up. Ultimately subverted once he comes to save Gentaro in #8.
* SecretKeeper: Initially. While he sees Gentaro transform into Fourze in #2, he states that he'll act as if he never witnessed it. Come #8, he fully acknowledges Fourze once he is welcomed into the Club.
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: His name uses the same kanji as [[Series/KamenRider Hayato Ichimonji's.]] In keeping with the show's space theme, his given name can be read as "Hayabusa", a Japanese unmanned space probe that gets mentioned a few times in the show.
* SportBattler: Before he joined the Kamen Rider Club, he was a star football player. As such, his fighting style with the Powerdizer uses a lot of running tackles.
* VisualPun: His trademark involves saluting with ''two'' fingers. And the opening shows him alongside the #2 Launcher Switch!
* WellDoneSonGuy: His attitude stems from his desire to live to his father's standards. He even calls him "Sir" rather than "Dad", an indication of how distant they really are.
* WhatTheHellHero: Miu ''really'' chews him out at the end of #25 since Shun is obsessed in trying to get her to go to Prom with him and for clowning around (literally in this case since he was dressed as a "Pierrot"). [[spoiler:Made even worse when Miu states that she wanted to go to prom with ''Gentaro''.]]
* WinkDing: Does this a couple of times in #2, including right before the aforementioned ScrewThisImOuttaHere.
** He even did one while in the Powerdizer after stopping the runaway bus Makise was manipulating!
** Lampshaded in #20; the label on Miu's little SuperDeformed pic of Shun reads キラリ ニヤリ, which literally means "flashing grin".
* WouldntHitAGirl: It should be noted that driving the Powerdizer doesn't hinder this.

!!Tomoko Nozama
!!!'''Portrayed by''': Shiho
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tomoko_nozama.png]]
A first-year, then later, second-year student. She is a quiet {{Goth}} girl who is never seen without her customized iPad, using the facade to hide her true feelings. She joins a witches' coven so she could go to the moon because she feels as if it's the only place she should be. She eventually gets her wish when she becomes the seventh member of the Club once Gentaro opens her up to [[BeYourself be herself]]. She's also noted to be a Kamen Rider enthusiast, and is the reason for Gentaro deciding to create the Club.
----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: Arguably towards Yuki. It's more or less stating that they share the same level of "interest".
* AndIMustScream: [[spoiler:She got sent into the Dark Nebula for finding out about Virgo's true identity in #40.]]
* AsideGlance: Gives on in #17 due to being excited on seeing another Kamen Rider.
* BattleAura: A ''black'' one to be precise. And in the finale, [[spoiler:it's '''pink'''!]]
* BeYourself: Gentaro's message to her in #10.
* BeneathTheMask: Her {{Goth}} personality most likely stems from feelings of being ostracized, supported by a comment made by her mother about how she is happy to know that Tomoko has made some friends (i.e., Yuki and Gentaro).
** A look into her room also shows this. Alongside the regular {{Goth}} items strewn about, there are butterfly stickers on the wall, plastic praying mantises, cicadas (pupae and old cocoon shells included), and a little matroyshka doll of a girl with a duck hidden inside a larger gothic doll. And when Gentaro and Yuki saw her outside her usual getup, she runs away screaming "They saw my face!", implying she didn't want anyone to see the real her.
* BrokenPedestal: How Tomoko viewed [[spoiler:Kamen Rider Meteor in #32 once his identity as Ryusei was found out and after killing Gentaro as part of a deal he made with Aries. She angrily calls Ryusei a selfish traitor and that he doesn’t deserve to call himself a Kamen Rider]].
** RebuiltPedestal: [[spoiler:She warms back up to Ryusei in the very same episode after the revelation of his reasoning, his attempted HeroicSacrifice to save the KRC and Gentaro [[BackFromTheDead returning to life]] and forgives him, handing him back the discarded Meteor Driver and referring to him as "Secret Kamen Rider #2".]]
* ConspiracyTheorist: In #2, it's shown she's done her homework on the UrbanLegend of the Franchise/{{Kamen Rider}}s.
* DealWithTheDevil: [[spoiler:The Scorpion Zodiarts approaches Tomoko with a Switch in #9's cliffhanger. In the end, she doesn't take it.]]
%% commented out Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * DamselInDistress: [[spoiler:In #40.]]
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Her spotlight episodes (#9-10) is about her wanting to "say goodbye to this world", which is something you'd hear from someone with ''suicidal'' tendencies.
%% commented out Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette
%% commented out Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * EvilLaugh
* FreakOut: In #10, when Gentaro and Yuki see her fresh out the shower and dressed in something else, she runs out screaming "You saw my face!" and actually slathers mud on her cheeks before Gentaro catches up to her.
* FriendToBugs: Her room in #10 has butterfly stickers decorating the wall, plastic beetles and praying mantises and [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes (to Gentaro's horror)]] cicada shells, pupae, cocoons and adult cicadas.
* {{Goth}}: Develops into a PerkyGoth after #10.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: [[spoiler:"She" in this case. Why Virgo sends her to the Dark Nebula.]]
* HiddenDepths: She states in #9 that she could see spirits and #10 notes that she has some ESP powers concerning the Astro Switches. She also mentions that she feels as if she doesn't have a place to belong, explaining why she joined the Lunar Witches.
* HumanShield: Becomes one to Cygnus Zodiarts in #23. Twice.
** Indirectly used as one by Libra Zodiarts in #30 when he uses her image to defend himself against Meteor Storm, in the knowledge that Ryusei [[WouldNotHitAGirl wouldn't attack her.]]
* LonersAreFreaks: Chose to be this way, but Gentaro helped her open up.
* LovesMyAlterEgo: Suggested when she tells Ryusei she doesn't mind that he ran away and left her with a Zodiarts, because Meteor came to her rescue.
* {{Irony}}: Despite wanting to become a witch, she was the only one of them who ''naturally'' has supernatural powers.
* MasochistsMeal: In #5 she puts natto (fermented soybeans with a love-it-or-hate-it reputation in Japan) on Yuki's fried prawns, insisting it tastes great. Subverted in that when Yuki reluctantly tries a bite, she admits it's actually pretty good.
* MeaningfulName: The "Tomo" in her first name uses the kanji for "friend", a word Amazon (like Gentaro) often used.
* NightmareFuelStationAttendant: A family-friendly version. Even after joining the Club and learning to open up a little bit more, this is her only constant personality trait. To wit:
** She adds stuff to people's food without their consent, like natto to Yuki's fried prawns. While giving off a black BattleAura.
** Then there's that time that she believed Gentaro was dead and decided to give him ''funeral rites''.
** And another when she's singing 'Welcome to the Gates of Hell' as Gentaro, Yuki and Kengo are entering the Sunday Special Studies. [[CloudCuckooLander With her headphones blasting a completely different song at FULL VOLUME.]]
** Even her drawings of bunnies aren't immune to this. [[spoiler:And it's said drawing that saves the day when the locker to Rabbit Hatch goes missing.]]
** She carries a ''white snake skin'' just for the purpose of dowsing.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: She likes to get real close within Yuki's space, touching her face, or tampering with her food. She also frisks Gentaro in #9.
* ObsessivelyOrganized: She got sent for the special classes because one picture had her ribbon "not in the middle" as she puts it. She decides to ''delete every single picture'' on the school mainframe.
* OnlySaneMan: As Gentaro states, a "gloomy, weird psychic girl" is pretty normal compared to the other six members of the Club that consists of - [[HeroicSelfDeprecation as they confess]] - a delinquent (Gentaro), a control freak (Shun), an overconfident rich kid (Miu), a funster hanging out with weirdos (JK), a space otaku (Yuki), and a guy who ditches classes for the infirmary (Kengo).
* {{Otaku}}: She sits at the Otaku Table at lunch, though in her case she's a Kamen Rider and space Otaku.
** A look into her room in #10 shows that she has interests in bugs like butterflies, praying mantis and cicadas.
* PlayfulHacker: She's hacked onto the school frame twice; one for the warning messages in #2, the other for deleting every photo on the school's mainframe (especially those that included her wearing her ribbon the wrong way) in #7.
** She's also used her iPad in order to get information in #11.
* ProductPlacement: Just like [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Ankh]], she carries an iPad, though the designs on it make it harder to tell at first glance.
* ProgressivelyPrettier: In the first several episodes, her hair was midnight black and perfectly straight, and the shadow around her eyes was ludicrous. Skip to the final episodes, and aside from her black clothes she looks almost normal.
* PsychicPowers: She has some sort of ability to see the true potential of different Switches (like Fire and Pen), and can dowse for items by using a ''white snake skin''.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Gentaro finds a Gothic matroyshka doll in Tomoko's room in #10, and a little girl doll with a duck hidden inside it. This represents that despite her beliefs in the occult and all of the {{Goth}} stuff she does, Tomoko is really just a shy and scared girl.
** She also has stickers of butterflies and old cicada cocoons, probably to represent how she wanted to go into a metamorphosis and become something different.
* SayMyName: GENTARO-SAAANNN! Take note that she only says this after she's used her ESP to discover a power inside an Astro Switch.
* SheCleansUpNicely: In #10, Gentaro and Yuki see her fresh out of the shower, makeup-free and wearing normal clothing (a sweatshirt and black skirt); they both comment that she looks much prettier this way. [[FreakOut She disagrees. Vehemently.]]
* ShipTease: With Ryusei.
** Exploited by Libra in #30 by turning into her to prevent Ryusei from finishing him off.
** #41 when Ryusei is enraged that Virgo/Tachibana sent Tomoko-chan to the Dark Nebula.
** Again in [[BridalCarry in #42]]...
** And again in #44..[[spoiler:the KRC members are shipping them...]]
** In pretty much every episode after that, unlike before, Tomoko aims all her worrying on her "Ryusei-san!" When [[spoiler:Leo/Tatsugami]] comes into destroy the Rabbit Hatch and knocks back Ryusei, rather than run with the others towards the door, she runs towards him to see if he's alright, and stays by his side until the Rabbit Hatch starts taking damage.
** [[spoiler:At the end of the show, Ryusei goes back to Subaruboshi, but Tomoko is delighted when he tells her that he's not dating Mei Shirakawa.]]
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: Her surname is "[[Series/KamenRiderAmazon Amazon]]" [[SdrawkcabName spelled backwards]].
* SingleTear: Sheds one after Gentaro states how she has great instincts and perspective and how she's always welcome to the Club.
* StealthHiBye: Pulls the "bye" part off on Yuki in #5.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: natto, apparently.
* WasItAllALie: Had such high hopes about the reality of witches being real. When she finds out Ritsuko - the Altar Zodiarts - uses the other, otherwise powerless members, by making them think they have powers, she was pretty shocked.
** Happens again when [[spoiler:Ryusei's identity was revealed after killing Gentaro. She didn't take it well.]]
* WhenSheSmiles: She looks more cheerful whenever she gives one.
* YouAreNotAlone: The rest of the Kamen Rider Club open up about their faults and smile at her as if accepting her into their little family.

!Anti-Zodiarts Union
An enigmatic organization opposed to the Zodiarts, and creators of the Meteor System. Their base of operations is the M-BUS (Meteor-Backup Satellite), which fires a beam of Cosmic Energy that enables the transformation into Kamen Rider Meteor.
[[folder:General Tropes]]
* EarlyBirdCameo: If you go back to the first episode, the M-BUS can be seen.
* {{Expy}}: Most of Ryusei and Tachibana's interactions are similar to that of the interactions between [[Series/KamenRiderDouble Terui Ryu and Shroud]], while the formers being similar to the latters in nearly every way. It almost feels like a dark take on their relationship, as Tachibana has Ryusei on a tighter leash than Shroud with Ryu. [[spoiler:Nearly everything went to hell between Ryusei and Tachibana. Whereas Shroud used Ryu for her own gain, but was at best an anti-hero, Tachibana used Ryusei for his own goals, and is TheDragon to the BigBad. However, it's subverted and it turns out that Tachibana had much clear and [[AntiHero better]] intentions, though he had a shorter life expectancy than Shroud's. The only thing that went right, even better than how it happened with Shroud, is that Fourze and Meteor were able to combine powers and create Meteor Fusion States]].
* {{Homage}}: The name of the group itself is a homage to the Anti-Shocker Union of the original ''Series/KamenRider''.
* KillSat: [[spoiler:The M-BUS can function as one.]]
* OddlySmallOrganization: Despite being named like an organization, the only seen members are Ryusei and Tachibana. [[spoiler:This is because the Anti-Zodiarts Union ''is'' just them due to being a front for Emoto's schemes.]]
* SpaceStation: The Union's headquarters.

A mysterious transfer student who secretly fights as Kamen Rider Meteor. While he acts awkward and shy to gain the trust of those around him, his true persona is that of a super-serious loner who is coldly dedicated to his mission. He is attempting to awaken the Aries Zodiarts, believing that its powers can be used to save the life of Jiro Iseki, his best friend and fellow martial artist who fell into a coma after a failed attempt to activate a Zodiarts Switch.\
\
Voted #1 Kamen Rider in the ''Kamen Rider Fourze'' franchise, #17 Kamen Rider in the Heisei era, and #22 Kamen Rider overall in NHK's All Kamen Rider Popularity Vote.
!!!Tropes that apply to him in general
* AloofAlly: He'll fight with the Kamen Rider Club, but he's not going to fight ''with'' them as partners. [[spoiler:[[TookALevelInKindness Initially]].]]
* AndIMustScream: [[spoiler:Gets sent to the Dark Nebula after Tachibana reveals himself to be Virgo in #41.]]
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Subverted. He seems to be level-headed and calm, [[spoiler:but the idea of letting Lynx Zodiarts go before Fourze can stop him from becoming a Horoscopes didn't make him a good guy in the eyes of the Kamen Rider Club.]]
** Tachibana notes this in #27, stating that his strength has made him conceited, [[spoiler:which is why he initially denied him the Meteor Storm upgrade]].
** [[spoiler:He mocks Fourze giving into Lynx Zodiarts' wishes to protect JK, even though he's Meteor for the very same reason in saving his friend.]]
** However, in a twist of irony, [[spoiler:when Cygnus Zodiarts used Tomoko in #23 as a HumanShield, he hesitates. Granted, it used the shield ploy better than Lynx (read: moved Tomoko's head in the way of a Mars Breaker-backed punch)]]
*** The irony returns in #30 when [[spoiler:Libra transforms into Tomoko which prevents Meteor Storm from attacking him.]]
* TheAtoner: During the tail end of #32 [[spoiler:for killing Gentaro the previous episode. This even carries onto the following episode as he states "I will protect Gentaro". Ryusei's atonement carries over into the Fourze summer movie - one of the trailers has Ryusei declaring to the [[Series/SpaceIronmenKyodain Space Ironmen]] that [[ContinuityNod "I won't let Gentaro get killed again".]]]]
* BecomingTheMask: Seems to be happening slowly. A good example is in #26, where he notes that [[spoiler:Shun and Miu's departure could be detrimental to the Club's function, just like Gentaro noted]].
* BeneathTheMask: He pretends to be a friendly person, but truthfully can't stand Gentaro at all and is a morose, aloof guy at heart. Gentaro realizes the moment he sees him that he's wearing a mask and doesn't let him in the club until he gets a taste of what's under it.
* BerserkButton:
** Gentaro taking down the potential Horoscopes Zodiarts before it has a chance causes Ryusei to ''damn near blow his cover''.
** In #20, Kengo's replies as to why he won't return to the club made him remember the altercation he had with Jiro. He was about to clock Kengo into Saturn if he had the chance.
* BigDamnHeroes: Saves Gentaro just before he was going to be massacred by both Libra and Perseus Zodiarts in #16. Does it again just as Lynx is about to pounce on him in #17. And again in #32, [[spoiler:as it's his only way to protect the Kamen Rider Club whom he betrayed]].
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Was temporarily under [[spoiler:Taurus]]'s control in #40.
* BroughtDownToBadass: During #32, after [[spoiler:his ability to transform into Meteor is taken away for his actions]]. He ''still'' manages to kick tons of Dustard butt.
%%* BruceLeeClone
* CallBack: a DreamSequence at the beginning of #29 shows Meteor fighting Perseus and Lynx, the two Zodiarts seen during his introduction.
* CatchPhrase: When he introduces himself to an enemy, "Kamen Rider Meteor, I'll decide your fate!"
** When he's in Storm States, "Kamen Rider Meteor Storm, my fate will deliver a storm!"
** The first one receives an inversion and a CallBack in the final episode.
->[[spoiler:'''Ryusei (to Leo Zodiarts):''' ''My'' fate is mine to decide. ''(Emphasis: editor)'']]
* CheshireCatGrin: Sports an awesome one in #33 as he tries to prevent Yukina from getting too close to Gentaro.
* CoolBike: The Machine Meteorstar. Part motorcycle, part satellite from the looks of it.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Jiro possessed a Zodiarts Switch but it backfired. Now the guy's in a coma and Ryusei's off to save him.
* DealWithTheDevil: Allied himself with [[spoiler:Aries Zodiarts to save Jiro. The first order of business? '''Kill Fourze!'''. Worse is that Aries ''kept his word''...[[WhatTheHellHero only for Jiro to relapse upon learning of what he did]]]].
* DynamicEntry: Meteor's henshin produces a SphereOfPower around him that allows him to fly in like...well, a meteor, which he's used in this fashion.
* EasilyForgiven: [[spoiler:From Gentaro, the guy he killed in #31 and who holds no real malice. The other KRC members follow suit. To his credit him Ryusei is genuinely remorseful of what he did.]]
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: Practiced in martial arts before being Meteor.
* EurekaMoment: Gains one in #22 regarding the identity of Pegasus Zodiarts when Shun mentions how they should be careful whenever Gentaro used Magnet States and after Kengo warned JK about the sensitivity of the equipment on the Rabbit Hatch.
* {{Expy}}: Plays the same role as [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Ren Akiyama]] as both of them are secondary riders who wants to save someone close to them from coma which is the main driving force why they became riders in the first place.
* FalseFriend: Invoked as part of his cover. Gentaro is actually TooDumbToFool and can tell right from the start that he was hiding his true self. However, Gentaro does accept him into the club after he punches him, because he picks up on the real him and wants to be the friend with ''that'' Ryusei.
** The "false" is even emphasized because he decided to no longer make any friends when Jiro stated that friendship was ridiculous.
* FunnyBruceLeeNoises: He seems inordinately fond of these.
%%* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:When Kengo tells the Riders that the Gemini clone Gentaro is fighting is actually a mass of explosive energy, Ryusei immediately abandons his fight with the actual Gemini, runs to Gentaro, tackles the clone off of him, and then ''pins it to the ground until it explodes.'']]
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: The ''[[FinishingMove Meteor Storm Punisher]]'' is essentially a weaponized version. It absorbs the Zodiarts' own energy and uses it against them.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Mocks Gentaro into giving into the Lynx Zodiarts in exchange for JK's safety. Yet, he's out there as Meteor so he can save his ''own'' friend.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: [[spoiler:He admits in #32 that all this time he wanted to be friends with Gentaro, but his determination to save Jiro ruined all of that (and ended up killing Gentaro). Cue him in a "MyGodWhatHaveIDone" moment in the rain.]]
* IdiotBall: [[spoiler:Went after Cancer Zodiarts to an empty library and untransformed, without realizing he could ''still'' be in the room.]]
* InnerMonologue: Done to show his inner thoughts. The "echoing narration" version is used most of the time, but #27 has an interesting variation: during his monologue, he's facing away from the Club (who seem to be [[TimeStandsStill frozen in place]]) and Meteor's henshin music is playing in the background.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Mentally berates the members of the KRC but he can also be nice to them. He helped communicate with Kengo in #19, [[spoiler:stopped himself from punching Tomoko in the face in #23]], and help Shun and Miu realize that they're still important to the KRC.
** Slowly becoming less and less of a jerk, [[spoiler:and at the end of #32 he accepts Gentaro's hand of friendship for good]].
* {{Kiai}}: In a manner similar to Creator/BruceLee's. Justified in that he fights using none other than Lee's Jeet Kune Do.
* KnightInShiningArmor: Seems to be going this way towards Tomoko, due to always showing up the moment right before she gets attacked.
* LetsYouAndHimFight: briefly at the beginning of #18, since Gentaro was angry at him for letting Lynx run rampant.
* MadeOfIron: You'd think the Cygnus Zodiarts stamping on his arm would leave some kind of GameBreakingInjury that would clue in the others on who he is. No such luck.
* MeaningfulName: "Ryusei" means meteor. And of course "Ryu" on its own is the same pronunciation as the Japanese for "dragon"... which is part of Creator/BruceLee's Chinese name. You gotta wonder why they didn't just go for that instead, as the whole cast uses the rarely employed ''inseki'' instead when talking about actual meteors, because if it wasn't the case his cover would be blown within five minutes!
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: [[spoiler:Sure Jiro woke up and deactivated his Zodiarts Switch, but then he relapsed after losing his will to live over hearing of Ryusei's betrayal - all for his sake. Ryusei walks away through a GreyRainOfDepression with sheer guilt in his heart, [[WasItReallyWorthIt wondering if saving Jiro was worth killing Gentaro]] before breaking down and screaming Gentaro's name.]]
* MysteriousProtector: Even when we know who he is, he has tons of traits of this trope.
* NewTransferStudent: He transfers in from Subaruboshi High School in #17, after appearing in his Rider form the episode before.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler:Untransformed in the library instead of just running off, unaware that Kijima is watching. Now Tachibana has to terminate his abilities!]]
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Nearly blew his cover by punching Gentaro out of frustration over seeing him destroy Lynx Zodiarts, but it works to his advantage soon, since [[spoiler:it allowed Gentaro to see a bit of the true Ryusei and have him join the Kamen Rider Club just so he can make friends with ''that'' Ryusei as opposed to the cover.]]
* NotSoAboveItAll: Went through CharacterDevelopment similar to Kengo's, making him finally join in some of the Club's antics. But even before the events of #32, a genuine comical side can be occasionally seen, such as when [[spoiler:Miu announced Yuki as her successor as ClubPresident, he reacts the same way as the other Club members.]]
* OhCrap:
** At the end of #27, [[spoiler:he's unable to transform into Kamen Rider Meteor due to him untransforming at a ''very'' wrong moment and Kijima observing it. Made even worse because the Meteor Switch makes Tachibana able to keep an eye on everything Ryusei does.]]
** At the end of #31, when [[spoiler:Tachibana cancels Meteor's transformation, revealing his identity to the Kamen Rider Club! And keep in mind, this came after ''he gave the one-inch punch to Gentaro, essentially ''murdering him!'']]
** In #47, when Tatsugami withstands his one-inch punch.
* OnlyFriend: He may mock Gentaro for having so many friends and not taking things seriously, but the one thing that is keeping him from turning evil is that he's got a close friend - probably the ''only'' friend he'll ever consider - that he wants to save from a coma.
* OnlySaneMan: To the Kamen Rider Club - except that he's having some doubts where Tomoko's witchcraft is concerned.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Dragon was so unstoppable back then that Meteor didn't want Dragon to evolve into a Horoscope.
* PetTheDog: [[spoiler:When Cygnus used Tomoko as a HumanShield, Meteor decided to halt his Mars Breaker punch to save her.]]
* PreAsskickingOneLiner:
** "I'll decide your fate!"
** As [[SuperMode Meteor Storm]]: "My fate will will deliver a storm!"
* {{Pride}}: While subtle, #27 highlights that he is arrogant. He believes that his identity as Meteor won't be found out and that he wants the new upgrade for Meteor because he doesn't believe the suit is capable of giving him the power he needs. Tachibana notes that his arrogance is getting in the way of his true strength, [[spoiler:which is why not only does Ryusei get his identity discovered, but he doesn't get the Meteor suit back.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue to Gentaro's red. (One of two)
%%* TheRival: Seems to be one with Leo Zodiarts.
* SecretIdentity: He needs to keep the identity of Meteor this or else the suit goes bye bye. [[spoiler:Due to having the IdiotBall in #27, it happens.]]
** [[spoiler:But thanks to him killing Gentaro, Tachibana cancels the transformation so now the Kamen Rider Club knows.]]
** [[spoiler:And in the end of #32 all of the Kamen Rider Club-minus Ohsugi who came in a little later-are sworn to keep the identity a secret.]]
* SecretTestOfCharacter: Tachibana offers him the upgrade he's been asking for [[spoiler:and permission to become Meteor again]] but he'll need to reach a certain place by a certain time... when he promised to return to the KMR holding Cancer Zodiarts at bay before that same time. [[spoiler:He chooses his friends over the upgrade, which is the right answer and grants him the reward anyway.]]
* ShadowArchetype: Ryusei is Gentaro if he decided to just focus on his own needs rather than playing AllLovingHero to others.
** He also is a ShadowArchetype for Shun whereas Ryusei being a somewhat jerk who uses people as he sees fit and does good to keep his identity safe, while Shun treats his classmates with respect and does good deeds [[GoodFeelsGood because it's the right thing to do.]]
* ShipTease:
** With Nozama. [[spoiler:Even the Horoscopes seem to be shipping them, as it's exploited by Libra in #30 by turning into her to prevent Ryusei from finishing him off.]]
** In #41, he becomes enraged that [[spoiler:Virgo/Tachibana sent "Tomoko-chan" (as what he's started to refer to her as) to the Dark Nebula]]. And [[BridalCarry in #42]].
** [[spoiler:Even Ryo Yoshizawa/Ryusei Sakuta stated in his blog "So he actually like's Tomoko-chan!", after he said that Meteor was in Dark Nebula with Tomoko-chan.]]
** In #44, the KRC members are shipping them... [[spoiler:Mainly Yuki, because she was the one who made the couple ticket!]]
** In #47, [[spoiler:with the Rabbit Hatch trashed and the Zodiarts attacking, he takes the time to make sure Tomoko is safe, even charging JK to watch out for her while he continues to fight.]]
** At the end of the series, [[spoiler:Ryusei returns to Subaruboshi, and encourages Tomoko to visit him there, telling her that he is not dating Shirakawa as Tomoko thought.]]
* SixthRanger: He fights the Zodiarts as Meteor, but joins the club as Ryusei ''under false pretenses'', that is until he begins BecomingTheMask.
* SurroundedByIdiots: How he compares his work with the Kamen Rider Club to be.
* TemptingFate: Sure Ryusei, tell your supporter that your identity will ''never'' be found out. [[spoiler:Surprise, surprise. It did. Nice job, idiot.]]
* TransferStudentUniforms: He's even able to let Ohsugi let him wear it, once he shows him the School Handbook reguarding the uniform[[note]]it says that the uniform is recommended but not required[[/note]], also letting Gentaro ''finally'' off the hook for wearing his Delinquent style.
* WellIntentionedExtremist:
** [[spoiler:He lets the Lynx Zodiarts go in the attempt to find out whether or not it will become the Horoscope General: Aries Zodiarts.]]
** [[spoiler:He kills Gentaro so he could ask the Aries Zodiarts to heal his friend.]]
* WhatTheHellHero:
** In his debut episode, [[spoiler:he's got flack from the Kamen Rider Club for ''letting the Lynx Zodiarts go free'' instead of letting them land the final blow on him.]]
** In #18, [[spoiler:Tomoko screams that Kamen Riders are supposed to be heroes, something that he ''definitely'' isn't in her eyes. However he brushes it off as he states that his view of justice isn't equal to what the Kamen Rider Club believe.]]
** He gets partially called out by Cygnus for running away while Tomoko was on her own. [[spoiler:At least Meteor didn't clock Tomoko in the face with a ''miniature Mars''.]]
** [[spoiler:He '''kills Gentaro''' with the one-inch punch so he could save Jiro by allying himself with the Aries Zodiarts. Even Tachibana was shocked and had to cancel the Meteor Storm transformation, and now the whole Kamen Rider Club knows what's happened. Made even worse because Tachibana himself stated that he could try to find a cure to save Jiro once Aries was captured.]]
*** [[spoiler:The reason he did this was because Tachibana said he could ''TRY'' to save Jiro that way, not actually wake him up. Ryusei wants to save Jiro, and with the best Tachibana can do is only trying to save him, he went for the direct route, which is doing what the Aries Zodiarts wants so he can wake up Jiro.]]
** Jiro calls him out on what he did in #31, then [[spoiler:goes unconscious for losing the 'will to live' thanks to Ryusei killing Gentaro.]]
* WhenHeSmiles: In #26, he gives an honest smile that makes him seem that he's not a complete jerk after all.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness:
** As Tachibana states in #27, [[spoiler:"Because Cancer has discovered your identity, you can no longer be Meteor"]].
** In #31, [[spoiler:Tachibana revokes his decision on Ryusei gaining Meteor's powers after he kills Gentaro. However, the ending implies Tachibana gives him the power back after he's been redeemed]].

!!!Tropes exclusive to him as Kamen Rider Meteor
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kamen_rider_meteor.png]]
* BareFistedMonk: Compared to [[Series/KamenRiderBlade many]] [[Series/KamenRiderHibiki past]] [[Series/KamenRiderDecade Secondary]] [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Riders]], he prefers fighting hand-to-hand.
* BattleTops: Meteor Storm Switch's [[AllThereInTheManual Storm Topper]].
* FinishingMove:
** ''Starlight Shower'': A series of [[RapidFireFisticuffs fast punches]], activated by placing the Meteor Switch in the Meteor Galaxy.
** ''Meteor Strike'': A powerful kick activated by turning on the Meteor Switch in the Meteor Driver.
*** ''Meteor Storm Strike'': The same attack in Meteor Storm States, also using the Meteor Switch.
** ''Meteor Tornado'': A [[SpinAttack spinning attack]] activated by turning on the Meteor Switch in the Meteor Driver.
** ''Meteor Storm Punisher'': Inserts the Meteor Storm Switch into the Meteor Storm Shaft, after which the tip of the switch is shot out like a [[BattleTops spinning top]]. It also absorbs the Zodiarts' Cosmic Energy and [[HoistByHisOwnPetard uses it against them]]. This has the added bonus of making it safe to destroy them thanks to draining off the extra energy.
* GoldenSuperMode: Meteor Storm has a good deal of gold in the color scheme.
* MixAndMatchWeapon: Meteor Galaxy, a wrist-worn device that summons planet-shaped energy constructs over his fist for augmented punches or energy projectiles.
* MundaneUtility: ''Meteor Storm Punisher''... as a glorified golf swing!
* PlayingWithFire: Mars Breaker[[note]]Meteor summons a small Mars planet, where he blasts the enemy with fire or uses it for a super-heated punch.[[/note]]
* PowerFist: Jupiter Hammer[[note]]Meteor summons a small Jupiter planet to punch the enemy with.[[/note]]
* RingsOfDeath: Saturn Sorcery[[note]]Meteor summons a small Saturn planet, where he swings energy rings at the enemy.[[/note]]
* SphereOfPower: Meteor's henshin forms a blue energy sphere around him for a short time. Unlike [[TransformationIsAFreeAction most other henshin effects that come with a convenient defensive barrier]], [[DynamicEntry this one can actually do some damage.]]
* StarSpangledSpandex: Both forms are made to look like the night sky.
* WatchThePaintJob: When Meteor was chasing Pegasus, Fourze hitches a ride on the Meteorstar using the Winch Switch, causing Meteor to shout something similar.
* WeakButSkilled: Lacks Fourze's sheer arsenal, but makes up for it by being a skilled martial artist.

!!!'''Portrayed by''': Creator/NobuyukiHiyama (voice)
[[quoteright:260:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tachibana_emoto.png]]
A masked man who resides in M-BUS, acting as support to Ryusei. [[spoiler:His true identity is Kuniteru Emoto, aka Virgo Zodiarts. See Characters/KamenRiderFourzeHoroscopes for tropes based on Emoto/Virgo]].
----
* AnonymousBenefactor: [[spoiler:He's the one who sent Kengo the Gate Switch in the very beginning.]]
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:#32, where he remote controls the Meteorstar as a distraction for Kengo to escape with Gentaro's body.]]
* BigGood: For Meteor. [[spoiler:And as revealed in #32, the Kamen Rider Club as well, as he sent Kengo the Gate Switch that created the portal in the first place.]]
** The reason he had Ryusei go undercover in the Kamen Rider Club was apparently [[spoiler:to help Fourze's powers to develop faster.]]
* BrokenPedestal: [[spoiler:When revealed to be Emoto/Virgo, Ryusei doesn't take it well.]]
%%* CoolMask
* DoubleAgent: [[spoiler:Despite being Virgo, he was working AGAINST Gamou.]]
* EvilMentor: [[spoiler:Revealed to be Virgo, who is Gamou's right-hand man, has threatened to kill the entire Kamen Rider Club to weaken Gentaro, killed Kengo's father, and sent his student Meteor into the Dark Nebula. Though {{subverted}} in the long run since he also wants to betray Gamou.]]
* FindTheCure: [[spoiler:Believes that studying the Aries Switch would allow him to find a way to heal Jiro. Ryusei, however, didn't take the chance, and considering who else Tachibana was, he might have used the Switch for something other than healing Jiro.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: A very easy-to-miss one which upon looking back leads to a developed twist: Tachibana tells Ryusei that Cancer is no longer of concern. [[spoiler:One wonders how he knew that Kijima was out of the picture]].
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: [[spoiler:In #36, he believes the Leo Zodiarts is too powerful for Meteor to fight, and advises Ryusei to just flee the next time they meet.]]
* MissionControl: He is to Ryusei what Kengo is to Gentaro.
* MythologyGag: Names himself after Tobei Tachibana, the man who aided the eight Showa Riders.
* OnlyOneName: And even then it's only implied to be but a pseudonym.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Aside from the SadisticChoice below [[spoiler:which was a SecretTestOfCharacter anyway]], he's generally supportive and supplies advice and information to Ryusei. [[spoiler:And when Ryusei steps out of line in #31 by killing Gentaro to protect Aries, remotely deactivates the Meteor transformation immediately.]]
* SadisticChoice: Makes Ryusei choose between getting his SuperMode and saving the Kamen Rider Club. [[spoiler:[[SecretTestOfCharacter It was a test. Had he sacrificed the Kamen Rider Club, he'd have not gotten the Meteor Storm Switch.]]]]
* SecretTestOfCharacter: His SadisticChoice. [[spoiler:Had Ryusei chosen to get the Meteor Storm Switch instead of saving the Kamen Rider Club, he'd have been denied it.]]
* ShoutOut: Come on, the robotic CoolMask? Music/DaftPunk!
* TakeUpMySword: Acknowledges that he cannot fight on his own despite his goal of defeating the Zodiarts before their Cosmic Energy can cause more havoc. To this end he instead trains Ryusei to fight in his place.
** Makes sense when it's revealed [[spoiler:Tachibana is the Virgo Zodiarts!]]
