-->"Thank you, Kazuya. You are very kind."
-->--'''Satellizer El Bridget'''

[-'''Year:''' Freshman-]\
[-'''Pandora:''' Satellizer el Bridget (unofficially)-]

Kazuya enrolled in the "Academy for Extradimensional Affairs and Genetics" to support the Pandora in their cause, bound by the dying wish of his older sister Kazuha, a Pandora who passed away at the end of a fierce battle four years ago. After he learns the rumors about Satellizer's treatment of those who touch her, he cannot believe them, and decides to apologize to her for causing her loss in the Carnival.
----
* AboveTheInfluence: Despite his attraction to Satellizer, he loves her more and always does things at her speed. Even when she was drunk and nearly begging for him to do something to her, he resisted. (For her part, [[ArentYouGoingToRavishMe even after sobering up, Satellizer is disappointed he didn't try anything.]])
* AnguishedDeclarationOfLove: It finally happens in chapter 195. As if the HSQ in the "Busters" arc wasn't high enough already!
* ArrangedMarriage: To Ouka, apparently set up by his grandfather. He does not like the idea one bit. Gengo also denies it.
* BarbieDollAnatomy: He's a victim of this in chapter 209. His spirit body not only has his genitals missing, he has no nipples either.
* BarrierWarrior: Thanks to his Freezing abilities.
* TheBigDamnKiss: Finally happens with Stella at the end of the 13th Nova Clash. Then Rana comes along and ruins it, though it's because of an official summons, not because Rana is being Rana.
* BigScrewedUpFamily: Let's just say that Kazuya has many relatives that he's not aware of, and they all have... issues.
* BreakTheCutie: There is not a single chapter in the story where someone or something isn't trying to break him.
* CallingTheOldManOut: Kazuya's conversation with Ouka in chapter 102 indicates that he has some major issues with his grandfather Gengo, going so far as to say Kazuha died because of Gengo. This only gets worse as Gengo reveals more of their family history and puts major pressure on him to lead the fight against the Nova.
* ChickMagnet: Satellizer, Rana, and his [[KissingCousins cousin Ouka]] all have feelings for him.
* TheChosenOne: He's the only person who has a Stigmatic Body that can side with humanity, whereas Kazuha followed her instincts until it led to their parents death. Thus, he's the one meant to lead humanity further.
* DeadpanSnarker: Occasionally it comes out. Very much so when he was younger towards Kazuha and Ouka.
-->'''Kazuha''': Do I look like somebody people would wanna beat up?
-->'''Kazuya''': Yes, you do. Very much so.
* DespairEventHorizon: After learning in chapter 204 that Chevalier has unilaterally declared the whole of West Genetics "traitors" for having the gall to survive the Busters' attack, and being declared TheChosenOne by Gengo whose destiny is to learn the truth behind the Nova.
* TheDeterminator: Even though his power fluctuations make him less than useful sometimes, when Kazuya sets his mind on something, he does not stop pursing it until he sees it through.
* DoggedNiceGuy: At first.
* DyingDeclarationOfLove: Tells Satellizer she is the most important person in his life and [[FirstKiss kisses]] [[LastKiss her]] as he's dying from the chest wound ''she'' inflicted on him. He gets better.
* FluffyTamer: In a sense. He tamed the "Untouchable Ice Queen."
* ForgotAboutHisPowers[=/=]PowerIncontinence: Because he cannot use his abilities on demand (and usually only manages to do it once matters have escalated to maximum danger levels), he tends to get beaten up or put into tight situations judicious use of his Freezing ability could solve immediately.
* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: Slaps Ingrid in the face when she starts ranting about why rules and regulations ''must'' be followed.
* HalfHumanHybrid: His grandmother is Maria Lancelot, the Mother of All Pandora.
* HonorBeforeReason: Oftentimes, he does the right thing instead of the sensible thing, most of which involves putting himself into terrible danger.
* IDidntMeanToTurnYouOn: He told Elizabeth and Arnett that he did his best to avoid manipulating their emotions towards him... They didn't buy it, even though it's quite clear to the audience that this is true.
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: Says this word for word in chapter 197 when threatened by both Elizabeth and Arnett because he used them as people puppets against the Nova.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: By a BrainwashedAndCrazy Satellizer. Needless to say, she's horrified about it.
* LikeParentLikeSpouse: At first, he ''thought'' he was attracted to Satellizer because of his sister's heroic stigma. In reality, what first attracted him was a ''very'' strong resemblance to his birth-mother, [[spoiler: Cassandra.]] When he realizes this in chapter 202, he's squicked to hell and back. Satellizer, by this point, couldn't care less. Kazuya is the man she loves, and she loves him no matter how twisted his family tree is.
* LivingEmotionalCrutch: Is quickly proving to be this for Satellizer.
* MarshmallowHell:
** Cassandra hugs him to her chest so tightly he begins to ''suffocate''. Also done to him by Violet, and in the past, Kazuha.
** He also puts himself into this (inadvertently) during his first meeting with Satellizer - [[RefugeInAudacity she's too stunned to protest]].
* MoralityPet: For Satellizer. While she's definitely not evil, at first only Kazuya could touch her without being threatened with death.
* NiceGuy: He's polite and friendly pretty much all the time, and only rarely shows any actual anger or frustration.
* NoGuyWantsToBeChased: Of the three women interested in him, he has the most interest in Satellizer, who is also the [[CannotSpitItOut least open about her feelings]] and the only one not proclaiming her love constantly.
* [[OnlySaneMan Only Trustworthy Male]]: How Satellizer comes to view him. He's the first guy who is allowed to get anywhere near her without getting his ass kicked because he doesn't set off her fear of being touched.
* ParentalAbandonment: The reason for the above MarshmallowHell incident with Cassandra is because she had taken care of him when he was an infant. Kazuha was forced to kill their mother Orie when she tried to kill Kazuya for seeing Cassandra, his surrogate mother, as his mother and had a mental breakdown. Their father, Ryuuichi, committed suicide shortly afterward, upon learning that he wasn't fully human and that he had a "destiny" to lead the Pandora in accordance with Gengo's plans.
* RefugeInAudacity: When he first meets Satellizer, he grabs her in a bear hug an performs a CryIntoChest. She's too stunned to protest. He does it again in the Nova home dimension to an IdenticalStranger. She, however, recovers ''far'' more quickly than Satellizer, and he doesn't get away with it.
* ResignedToTheCall: By chapter 205, he's completely given up resisting Gengo's wishes. He only desires not to needlessly burden his seniors with worry of what may come.
* StatusBuff: He eventually gains the ability to make other Pandora transcend, giving them immense power... with the unfortunate addition of being able to [[PeoplePuppets control their bodies with his own mind.]]
* StrongFamilyResemblance:
** He looks a lot like a younger version of his grandfather Gengo and his father.
** This is also was why he was initially attracted to Satellizer, since she resembled both his older sister and his surrogate mother.
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: His body is over 30% Stigmata material, which is an even higher amount than his sister. It comes from his father, Ryuuichi, who is Maria Lancelot's natural-born son, and his aunt/surrogate mother, Cassandra, who carried him to term.
* SupportingProtagonist: Despite being considered the main character, the story focuses mainly on the female characters.
* TangledFamilyTree: Whoo boy. Everything he knew about his family is pretty much... off. His surrogate mother is his aunt, Cassandra. He has four other aunts that we're aware of, all of them are Legendary Pandora, and one of them is the deceased Chiffon Fairchild. His grandmother is Maria, "the holy corpse," as opposed to Gengo's wife. [[spoiler: He also has a younger half-sister/cousin who was conceived as a result of his father raping Cassandra, and she's been in stasis being made into a TykeBomb purely for the sake of fighting both the Nova and the Chevalier.]]
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gives an incredibly satisfying one to his grandfather Gengo in chapter 145, calling him a dictator.
* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Thanks to the actions of Gengo and Maria, [[spoiler: he finds himself stuck in The Nova's home dimension with many an IdenticalStranger to the people he knows at West Genetics. To his surprise, there are Nova abominations there as well.]]
* TroubledButCute: As Gengo, Chevalier, the Nova, etc keep on laying one wham on him after another, he eventually becomes this.
* UselessProtagonist: Zig-zagged. Due in part to his lack of control, he doesn't do a lot to actively change the flow of a fight. If he can manage to get a Freezing field active, he can play a competent support role for as long as he can hold out. He eventually gets much more useful when he gains the ability to make other Pandora [[PowerGivesYouWings transcend]].
* UnwantedHarem:
** Currently has three extremely powerful women chasing after him, two outright stating they want to marry him and the other [[CannotSpitItOut completely unable to admit her feelings]].
** Because his stigmatic body resonates with the Ereinbar system integrated in a Pandora's body, every one of them to some extent feels some form of attraction to him and are unable to do anything about it. It is ''literally'' unwanted on all sides. Even Pandora nowhere near the battle feel it.
* WasItAllALie: Yes, Kazuya, everything you "knew" about your life is just one big, fat lie.
* YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame: Every single time Gengo Aoi gives Kazuya his blessing regarding the relationship with Satella, Kazuya goes into an UnstoppableRage. While Kazuya would very much like to go all the way with Satella and crank out kids like they're going out of style, he does ''not'' want to do anything that would make Gengo happy. He's also right to be concerned as to how Gengo will treat them.
* YouNoTakeCandle: After being immersed in a place with a foreign language for days, he begins picking up bits and pieces of the vocabulary. Enough that he and [[spoiler: Luis Ecla]] can occasionally have an awkward understanding of each other.

[-'''Year''': Sophomore-]\
[-'''Volt Weapon''': [[{{BFS}} Nova Blood]]-]\
[-'''Limiter''': Kazuya Aoi (unofficially)-]\
[-'''Weakspot''': Breasts-]

Satellizer is a Sophomore Pandora-in-training whom is known as the strongest in the Sophomore year at the school Kazuya has recently transferred to. She was undefeated in the academy's carnival battles until Kazuya surprised her with a tear filled hug. She is referred to by the other students as ''The Heartless Witch'' and ''The Untouchable Queen'', due to her anti social behavior and her reaction to being touched. [[ShroudedInMyth Rumour has it Satellizer has killed over 20 Pandora and Limiters who dared touch her, and she does not have a Limiter because of her cruel treatment of them]]. Because of this, she's seen as a violent psychopath and her fellow students are absolutely terrified of her.

Under her fearsome exterior, however, Satellizer quickly proves to be a [[BrokenBird deeply troubled and traumatized young woman]], and rapidly falls head-over-heels in love with Kazuya over his DoggedNiceGuy tendencies.
----
* TheAce: {{Deconstructed}}. Her ridiculous skills and rapid growth are seen as something monstrous, making the other Pandora both envious and terrified of her.
* AllTakeAndNoGive: Elizabeth views her relationship with Kazuya as this, as she has failed to baptize him despite all the time that they've spent together, and believes that Kazuya had started avoiding her because he was fed up with their lack of progress and now saw a replacement in Cassandra. In reality, Kazuya doesn't mind waiting until Satellizer is ready, and had (by his own eventual admission) irrationally lashed out at her just to spite Gengo for supporting their relationship.
* ArentYouGoingToRavishMe: Despite her DarkAndTroubledPast and her [[HatesBeingTouched "don't touch me" attitude]], she still expresses disappointment over Kazuya [[AboveTheInfluence not doing anything to her while she was drunk]].
* AsLongAsItSoundsForeign: She's an Englishwoman but her name is completely made-up.
* BathingBeauty: She is [[{{Fanservice}} often depicted]] taking showers.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Satellizer's mutual love for Kazuya is born from the fact that he is not only the first person to show her nothing but immense kindness, patience, and most of all, love, but also the first guy not to set off her haphephobia. Unsurprisingly, Satella becomes wholeheartedly willing to return the favor.
* BerserkButton: Being touched (before she resolves her issues with her brother) or threatening Kazuya Aoi; God help you if you do both. Once her touch issues are resolved, "threatening Kazuya Aoi" expands toward "threatening any of her friends/comrades."
* BigEater: Can be seen taking away large amounts of hamburgers from the cafeteria, and has demonstrated the ability to cram and eat multiple burgers at once.
* BloodKnight: A subdued example, but she appears to show interest in fighting the top Pandora, [[TheBattleDidntCount disregarding]] her fight with the Nova-lized Cathy and challenging Chiffon during the E-Pandora arc when she got in their way.
* BlueBlood: An illegitimate daughter of the prominent El Bridget family.
* BlueIsHeroic: She later switched her attire to blue coloring as of Part 2.
* BreakTheCutie: Louis really does a number on her. Twice.
* BrokenAce: Due to an actually legitimate FreudianExcuse.
* BrokenBird: The love-child of Howard El Bridget and his mistress, she and her mother were brought into the household due to her mother's terminal illness. Her half-sister Violet was nice to her, but her father was aloof, her stepmother spurned her, and [[spoiler:her half-brother Louis, taking a cue from his jealous mother, began sexually abusing her after he hit puberty]]. Then Satella's mother died, and she was packed off to West Genetics to learn to fight... in a school where AdultsAreUseless, the upperclassmen are brutal bullies, and potential Limiters were more interested in Satella's physical assets than her personality. She starts to really heal only after meeting Kazuya.
* CantGetAwayWithNuthin: At least in the anime at first.
* CannotSpitItOut: Though she so very wants to. She eventually does and Kazuya happily reciprocates.
* CharacterDevelopment: After making peace with her brother Louis, she no longer reacts to human contact with homicidal violence; rather, she becomes an absolutely ''adorable'' ShrinkingViolet who feels embarrassment rather than rage at being touched. As the series progresses, she also becomes more confident in expressing her feelings toward Kazuya and generally just communicating with other people. Even her art design seems to shift a bit from "sexy" to "cute" in some ways.
* CleavageWindow: Present in a lot of her genetics uniforms. However, this leaves her one weak point open and vulnerable to the elements.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Rather understandable, since Kazuya is the first person in Genetics who's actually nice to her.
* CuteBookworm: Something of an ImpliedTrope since she mentions on several occasions reading a lot, but this being an action series, we rarely see her do so.
* DCupDistress: Gets very embarrassed in later chapters when other girls talk about her figure. Her breasts are even listed as her canonical weak point.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Her childhood consisted of taking constant abuse from Louis, and her stepmother resents her, on top of the fact that her mother gave her one hell of a complex regarding winning and losing. Not to mention her tribulations outside her home.
* {{Determinator}}: One of her defining traits. Her refusal to lose makes her a very tough opponent to fight against. This even extends to ''eating contests'' and ''drinking contests''. Not losing is SeriousBusiness for Satellizer.
* DoesNotLikeMen: She understandably resents men given how she was abused by Louis. At least, until she befriends Kazuya.
* TheDogBitesBack: Satellizer finds the strength to stand up to Louis and refuse to be used by him anymore after her battle with him.
* DoggedNiceGirl: As of the latest chapters, she's returning the favor for ''all'' of Kazuya's NiceGuy treatment of her and is willing to stand by him, come hell or high water, and deal with ''his'' many, many issues. This reaches its zenith in chapter 205 where she embraces a clearly distraught Kazuya [[spoiler: after he had her pinned in chapter 204, although he let go and backed away, horrified at himself.]]
* EmotionlessGirl: When she's fighting.
* ExoticWeaponSupremacy: Nova Blood looks like a giant razor.
* FirstGirlWins: She is the first of three girls who are romantically interested in Kazuya, and the only one whose feelings are reciprocated.
* {{Flashback}}: How her DarkAndTroubledPast is revealed.
* TheGlassesComeOff: Satellizer never wears her glasses during fights, as her senses are enhanced enough to not need them anymore once she activates her Stigmata.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: People who treat her kindly, like a human being, instead of as a LustObject, or as a deranged, vicious animal, will find that she's ''easily'' the sweetest, kindest, most benevolent girl one could ever hope to bring home to meet the parents, and she's golden-haired blonde.
* HairIntakes: Her hairstyle includes a pair of intakes that kinda look like cat ears.
* HardDrinkingPartyGirl: She can drink like a viking.
* HatesBeingTouched: Anyone who touches her will make her ''very'' upset since it reminds her of Louis. Becomes better after CharacterDevelopment, taming her natural reaction to touch from "kill" to "embarrassment/discomfort."
* HeroWithBadPublicity: Almost every fight she's in early on is the result of others attempting to subjugate or humiliate her. The authorities always seem to show up shortly after she's gained the upper hand, hence this trope.
* HeroicBastard: Her mother was Howard el Bridget's mistress on the side.
* HeroicBSOD:
** She has been stuck in a major one since she was abused by Louis in her youth. At least until she resolves her issues with her brother.
** She goes into a more comical one when Kazuya, having just been bombarded with the truth about his family, asks her to leave him alone "for a while"; she's utterly distressed over what "a while" is supposed to mean.
** Upon learning that [[spoiler:Gengo's experiments have unintentionally sent Kazuya to the Nova's dimension]], she faints, and remains despondent afterward.
* IcyBlueEyes: When she's not around Kazuya, the personality traits shine through; when she is, she tends to be much softer and generally less hostile in appearance.
* IfItsYouItsOkay: Kazuya is the only person at the beginning of the series that can touch her without triggering a fit. As indicated multiple times, she eventually grows out of this.
* InUniverseNickname: "Satella". It's probably supposed to be "Stella" and is usually rendered as such in scanlations, but this is how the official translator wrote it (and her full name is AsLongAsItSoundsForeign anyway).
* InnocentBlueEyes: She embodied the trope as a child, [[DarkAndTroubledPast until she met Louis.]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Though her poor social skills are partially to blame, Satellizer had a nasty habit of being surly towards most people without much reason. Those that got close to her got to see her better characteristics early on, such as her protectiveness of Kazuya. CharacterDevelopment gradually sees her get better about shedding the jerk part and displaying the heart more often.
* KindHeartedCatLover: As a child, before life REALLY did a number on her.
* LightningBruiser: Though it took her a while to really build up her speed, Satellizer was already plenty strong at the start of the series. Once she learns to use Triple and Quad Accel, she outstrips most regular Pandora very easily.
* LivingEmotionalCrutch: To Kazuya, after he learn about Gengo's plans for him, even helping him find the resolve to go through with them.
* LonersAreFreaks: Due to her perceived reputation of being hostile to anyone who approaches her, no one wants to go near her prior to Kazuya.
* LuminescentBlush: Plenty and often when Kazuya compliments her.
* MissingMom: Her mother died of an unknown terminal illness when she was in her middle school years.
* MsFanservice: Even though it´s unwillingly/unintentionally (most of her low-cut outfits are her attempts to display self-confidence).
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: When she almost kills Kazuya after getting brainwashed by a Nova, she breaks down in tears.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Being called the "Untouchable Queen" discourages anyone fron screwing with her.
* NextTierPowerUp: Every time her {{Determinator}} aspect kicks in so does this, making her one hell of an opponent. Her enemies at school are a little slow to realize she keeps getting stronger every time they try to "teach her a lesson" by beating her up.
* NotSoStoic: A large number of things can cause her to break her stoic mask and show her emotions beneath, be it [[BerserkButton blinding rage]], fear, or [[{{Moe}} adorable]] [[LuminescentBlush blushing]].
* NowAllowedToHug: Female lead Satellizer El Bridget HatesBeingTouched due to a DarkAndTroubledPast [[spoiler:involving sex abuse by her half-brother]]. Kazuya manages to gradually get her to relax a bit from the fearsome image she's cultivated at West Genetics to protect herself, and by the E-Pandora arc she's a lot less hostile to physical contact.
* ObliviouslyBeautiful: In chapter 155, she is rather mortified to learn that people think she wears such fanservicey outfits in an attempt to show off. She dresses like that because a book said it would make her seem more confident in her body image and less shy.
* PhenotypeStereotype: Busty, blonde, and blue-eyed.
* PowerGivesYouWings: Part of the Transcendence she experiences out of desperation to turn the Platoon 13 joint exercise around after accidentally stabbing Kazuya.
* PowerOfLove: The source of the PowerGivesYouWings example; her love for Kazuya motivated her to find the power within herself.
* RapeAsBackstory: Was sexually abused by her half-brother Louis, though it's implied by Louis it never went so far as outright rape, the only thing holding him back being their blood relation.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: She gives a brief but emphatic one to ''Rana'' in chapter 206 because the latter was completely unconcerned that Kazuya went to Gengo's lab and hasn't been seen or heard for over 24 hours [[spoiler: which should be nerve-wracking even without the knowledge that Chevalier is sending assassins after Gengo, and considers killing Pandora and Limiters on the base an acceptable cost for the task.]]
* RedBaron: "The Untouchable Queen," though some call her "The Heartless Witch."
* RedIsHeroic: Satellizer's original outfit has red colorings on it, while many perceived her as a [[RedIsViolent violent woman]] due to misunderstandings prior to her CharacterDevelopment.
* RedOniBlueOni: The calmer and composed one to Ganessa and Rana's more-fiery one. She's also the fiery one to the more composed Elizabeth.
* ReplacementGoldfish: Satellizer is greatly worried Kazuya is only interested in her because she reminds him of his sister. Kazuya realizes how she feels and tells her she is the most important person in his life now, even more important to him than his sister. Right after she stabs him through the chest.
* ScaryShinyGlasses: She displays these sometimes, though they're more often used to hide her eyes when she's embarrassed.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: Her family's influence allowed her to obtain six Heroic Stigmata despite her terrible compatibility rate with them, and mitigated a lot of the punishment that she should have received for her rebellious behavior prior to meeting Kazuya.
* SecondYearProtagonist: When she transferred to Genetics, she was effectively set back a year in her schooling.
* ShrinkingViolet: Sometimes becomes this when she's alone with Kazuya. She also does it during the beauty contest, which inadvertently helps her to win. After her CharacterDevelopment, her reaction to her boobs being groped is to blush and act embarrassed, rather than fall into homicidal rage.
* ShroudedInMyth: Her reputation as the "Untouchable Queen" was well established before she even came to Genetics, and as such no one really got to know her personally before Kazuya.
* ShyFingerTwiddling: Occasionally does this around Kazuya. It's adorable.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Her relationship with Kazuya effectively presents as this, considering that the Limiters she's been involved with before were either way too lecherous for her tastes or set off her apephobia.
* SingleTargetSexuality: Is very Kazuya-sexual.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS:
** Her current last name is generally written as "el Bridget", or sometimes as "L. Bridget" (her full name is shown very briefly in the TitleSequence). However, an alternative spelling used is "L. Bridgette."
** Her original birth name is affected as well: Most translations and even the Wikipedia page spells it as "Alon-Grache"[[labelnote:Note]]possibly hinting at a [[EveryoneLooksSexierIfFrench French lineage]][[/labelnote]], while other sources (including the [[http://freezing.wikia.com Freezing Wiki]]) spells it as "Alongrutch".
* TheStoic: Or at least, she tries to be as part of projecting a more confident self-image.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: She presents a very cold face at first, but as Kazuya gets to know her she becomes a lot more friendly in general, though mostly towards him.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Hamburgers.
** This wouldn't be the first time Creator/MamikoNoto voiced a [[Literature/ACertainMagicalIndex character]] who ''loves'' hamburgers.
* TroubledButCute: Her family history pretty much says it all.
* {{Tsundere}}: Tends to default to type A early on in the story, showing her soft side only to Kazuya. She gains shades of the gentler type B as time goes on, but she's still very easy to provoke.
* UnskilledButStrong: Early in the series she can't use a lot of the advanced Pandora techniques, but she has ridiculous physical power due to her six Heroic Stigmata. She becomes [[StrongAndSkilled as skilled as she is strong]] [[TookALevelInBadass as time passes and she experiences more battles.]]
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: The last person who tried to take Kazuya? She stabbed them in the chest. And this was before they even became partners in the ''unofficial'' sense.
* YouRemindMeOfX: Dr. Gengo Aoi says she reminds him of her birth mother, Noelle.
* YouAreNotAlone: What she ultimately say to Kazuya to help him find the the resolve to aid Gengo.

A transfer student visiting from a small town in Tibet. Kazuya helps her fight some thugs when she came to town looking for her soulmate. Simple and guileless, Rana has a strong sense of justice.
----
* AlliterativeName: Scanlations sometimes render her first name as "Lana", but it's "Rana" in the official translations. This is because they're rendered as the same syllable, ラ (ɾa, about halfway between "ra" and "la"), in Japanese.
* AnArmAndALeg: Has both of her arms ripped off by Chiffon at one point.
* BraidsOfAction: Sports two in her introductory chapter, which is then bound up into one longer one later on.
* BlueIsHeroic: She has navy-blue hair along with her first attire has shades of blue on it during her debut, and she's undoubtly one of the heroes.
* CallARabbitASmeerp: She also calls spirit/heart/mood "kunlun," almost to the point of {{Smurfing}} in some translations. She also refers to her Stigmata as "Tears of Kunlun." This goes away pretty quickly, though.
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: In her debut, she speaks a lot about spirituality and the impure, negative "kunlun" of the city. However, this quickly vanishes into an average aggressive, clingy, second-place love interest role.
* ChineseGirl: Well, Tibetan.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Despite multiple warnings by Kaho and Arthur about his relationship with Satellizer, Rana aggressively tries to get closer to Kazuya, much to Satellizer's eternal frustration. She is also more than happy to get physical with him. However, after the Alaska arc, she wholeheartedly agrees to sharing him with Satellizer and starts to call her "big sister."
* EnhancedPunch: Her Burning Fang technique is a super-strong punch. She can crank it up with a Burning Fang x 4, which is using the technique four times simultaneously if the visuals are any indication.
* FacialMarkings: The tattoo on her cheek.
* GenkiGirl: Bright, energetic, and almost always smiling, serving as a foil to Satellizer's more withdrawn nature.
* GirlishPigtails: In her introductions.
* GoodOldFisticuffs: She [[CurbStompBattle Curb-stomps]] three Pandora without using her weapon when she's introduced in the anime.
* KiManipulation: Her "Void Fang" and "Burning Fang" techniques.
* LightningBruiser: She moves very quickly (not as quickly as Satellizer, though) and can dish out a ton of damage with her bare hands, but can take it, too.
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: Once she gets over the shock, she acts completely normal in spite of having no arms.
* MomentKiller: Whenever Satella and Kazuya "get in the mood," she won't hesitate to ruin it, provided some crisis fails to beat her to it.
* MundaneUtility: Can use her keen observational abilities to measure breast sizes.
* NewTransferStudent: The end of her introductory episode reveals that she's a new student at Genetics.
* OlderThanTheyLook: She may look and behave as though she is younger than Kazuya, but she is actually around the same age as Satellizer. In fact, she is the oldest student attending West Genetics, except for Chiffon.
* PluckyGirl: No matter what happens, she's pretty much irrepressible in a fight.
* {{Polyamory}}: After the Alaska Arc.
* PowerFist and ArmedLegs: Her Volt Weapon is a pair of gloves and boots that greatly boosts her strength and speed.
* PowerGivesYouWings: In the same manner as Satellizer, with the same power boost.
* RedOni to Satellizer's BlueOni
* {{Sarashi}} and {{Fundoshi}}: She wears them under her clothes, if her introductory chapter is any indication.
* SecondYearProtagonist: Much like Satellizer, she transfers in as a second-year student.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: She was told before leaving her village that the man who could make her Stigmata "resonate" would be her destined partner. Kazuya's Freezing has this exact effect, leading to her initial interest in him as a partner.
* SkilledButNaive: She can defeat Ganessa easily and fight Satellizer to a standstill. However, she is easily fooled and manipulated, particularly at the start of the series; she very gradually grows out of this.
* VerbalTic: Rana ends her sentences with "de arimasu," like many Chinese people in Japanese works.

Kazuya's sempai and the pretty student body president of the Genetics academy. She was giving Kazuya a tour around the academy when they witness the confrontation between Satellizer and Ganessa. Chiffon is the first to warn Kazuya about how dangerous Satellizer is and attempts to dissuade him from approaching her for the sake of his own safety. She often seen with Ticy, the vice president. Despite her timid, polite demeanor, her position as president wasn't won by popularity, being the single strongest Pandora of her generation.
----
* ArtificialHuman: Like the other Legendary Pandora.
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Number 1 student of the third year class, number 1 Pandora in the entire world, and generally unstoppable by most means.
* AxCrazy: Beneath that sweet smile and cute demeanor is a savage monster when provoked. During her first Carnival, she went wild, happily fighting and willing to kill any Pandora that got near her; Ticy's intervention was the only thing that stopped her from taking it farther.
* BerserkButton[=/=]TranquilFury: Do not harm her friends. She cares for them very deeply. Or turn against the Chevalier.
* BewareTheNiceOnes[=/=]BewareTheSillyOnes: Tripping either of her berserk buttons will give her a reason to stop being nice very quickly, and [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown it will hurt.]]
* BloodKnight: Displays shades of this during her first Carnival.
* BreakoutCharacter: Stars in the spin-off ''Freezing: First Chronicle'', which details a short part of her freshman year at West Genetics.
* BrokenAce: Hinted at. Her conversation with Amelia indicates she is fully aware of [[HumansAreBastards how cruel people can be to each other in pursuit of some loftier goal]], and she displays a disturbing amount of cruelty when she's willing to use extreme force.
* BullyingADragon: A dragon can be friendly. Pissing it off still isn't a bright idea.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: While she does act goofy and cowardly at times, Chiffon is not to be trifled with when she decides to be serious. Her badass credentials are supported by being the strongest out of the entire current generation of Pandora.
* TheCynic: Her sweet and kind exterior is just that: an ''exterior.'' She has no romantic notions ''whatsover'' about how the world works, and is more than willing to throw ''all'' morality and compassion to the wind when she feels it's necessary. Even the seemingly cold and aloof Elizabeth Mably has a stronger connection to her humanity than Chiffon does. In the end, though, she makes the biggest sacrifice to protect the world from Nova-form Amelia.
* DepravedBisexual: In the First Chronicles spin off, she comes off this way when she gets rather aggressive with Ticy, though apparently Ticy didn't mind once she got over Chiffon's initial SkinshipGrope.
* DissonantSerenity: With a nickname like "The Unmatched Smiling Monster," it's a given.
* EmotionlessGirl: ''Freezing: Zero'' shows that she actually started out like three of her four elder sisters, but Aureriel taught her how to be happy.
* [[ExpectingSomeoneTaller Expecting Someone Meaner]]: This is the reaction most people have when they first meet her.
* EyesAlwaysShut: And when they crack open even a little, run. In Chapter 86, she opens them all the way to face a new form of Nova--revealing they're [[ExoticEyeDesigns the same as the "Type-Maria" Pandora clones.]]
* FlashStep: Invented her own Accel skill, the Illusion Turn. Gengo later clarifies that it's teleportation rather than high speed, and her mother Maria was the first to use it.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Her calling herself a "True Pandora" is one of the first major hints that the power level she displays is going to become more common later in the series and that there is more to the Pandora than had been shown so far. We eventually learn there is a reason most Pandora are so much weaker than a True Pandora.
* GenkiGirl: Her usual personality in her Freshman year. She cools down later on, but still has shades of it.
* GoOutWithASmile: As her body breaks down, she asks Amelia to forgive humans for their sins with a tearful smile.
* HalfHumanHybrid: She's eventually revealed to be a Legendary Pandora, the lab-made offspring of Gengo and Maria.
* HeroicSacrifice: Absorbed Nova!Amelia's attacks during the Alaska arc to save all the other Pandora from being annihilated, and allows Amelia to revert to human form with a major power boost.
* InsaneTrollLogic: She tries to "protect" Satellizer and Rana by ''graphically'' beating them down, and that's '''AFTER''' Marks Spencer broadcasts a LeaveNoWitnesses order regarding the Alaska Base and the E-Pandora, presumably not realizing that she, Satellizer, Rana, and all the Pandora/Limiter pairs present ''are witnesses'' and beating down Satellizer and Rana is not going to do anything to keep Marks Spencer from ordering their deaths too. One also has to remember that this occurs ''after she saw Elizabeth being tortured for three solid days for actually daring to question the efficacy of the Mark IV drug''.
* KnightInSourArmour: For all her cynicism, Chiffon can be quite idealistic. She asked Amelia to forgive humanity for abusing the E-Pandora, because deep down, they're just scared and lost in the world. Furthermore, when Chiffon sacrificed herself, she did it not because it was her duty, but because despite her scorn for humanity, she still loved humans anyway.
* LivingMemory: of a sort. Chiffon's mocking specter is seen harassing Ticy while Ticy is running away from some Nova during the Valkyrie-Pandora joint exercise, and Ticy's reaction when Chiffon actually stops taunting her implies Ticy's not quite hallucinating.
* MadeOfIron: In the First Chronicle Spin-off, Chiffon took a direct hit to the gut from a Class A Pandora's Volt weapon and didn't even flinch. When Satellizer and Rana manage to cause her some superficial injuries she praises them for having become so powerful, even saying they are more worthy of the title "monster" than her (because they are somewhat normal humans while she was created to be extremely powerful).
* MessianicArchetype: At the very end.
* MsExposition: Explains most of the basics of Genetics to Kazuya when he arrives at the school. Ends up explaining a lot of things again to Kazuya during the Elca arc despite being dead.
* MyCountryRightOrWrong: She firmly holds the belief Pandora are soldiers who should fulfill their duties as ordered. She extends this even to the E-Pandora, who are little more than guinea pigs subject to the whims of the Chevalier.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast:
** "The Unmatched Smiling Monster," though due to her gentle personality some people tend to forget she really can become one.
** The name of her weapon is "''Anti-Nova'' Trial Version."
* NiceGirl: Until she's pushed too far, in which case the nice just goes and dies in a corner.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: A master of it. She even asks why people always call her "Monster" when she's "not that ugly," and generally projects an air of mild-mannered meekness or obliviousness.
* OlderThanTheyLook: A picture of a girl who looks like a long-haired Chiffon appeared in one of Gengo Aoi's old photo albums. That is, in fact, Chiffon.
* OneManArmy: Gender-flipped. In her freshman fall Carnival, she defeated ''fifty Pandora'' without even getting hurt, earning 35,000 points total.
* TheParagonAlwaysRebels: Repeatedly stated to be one of the strongest Pandora in the series, and far stronger than any of her peers. Despite this, she's also one of the most reasonable. It's also played with: the protagonists are the ones rebelling, so her loyalty to the Chevalier pits her against them.
* PolitenessJudo: She has a black belt. 10th dan.
* PsychoticSmirk: When her berserk buttons are pressed, the artwork goes out of its way to make her smiles as utterly terrifying as possible.
* RedBaron: "The Matchless Smiling Monster" and a number of variants ("Monster," "The Monster of West Genetics," etc).
* RedemptionEqualsDeath: She'd previously been fighting against Satellizer and Rana because they wanted to help the E-Pandora.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Initially, she presents herself as this versus Elizabeth; where Elizabeth sanctions assaults on Satellizer for defying the third years, Chiffon tries to get Elizabeth to leave Satellizer alone. This gets turned on its head in the Alaska arc, though, as Chiffon demonstrates her own brand of ruthlessness while Elizabeth becomes less hostile and more responsible.
* RedOniBlueOni: The sweet demeanored, yet bloodthirsty, monstrous one to Elizabeth's cold, but compassionate one.
* SerialEscalation: In her first Carnival, where how well one does determines one's rank in class, she scored 35,000. After a few Carnivals passed, Elizabeth was the next closest with 6,300.
* TheShadowKnows: Her shadow in the ClosingCredits quite accurately reflects her RedBaron title.
* {{Sleepyhead}}: She sleeps a lot since she heard it's good for the skin, and enrolled late at Genetics because she overslept.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Scanlators originally spelled her name as "Shiffon," but according to WordOfGod it's spelled "Chiffon" after her favorite food (chiffon cake).
* StudentCouncilPresident: By virtue of being the strongest third-year student, the title is hers.
* SuperPrototype: Chiffon is one of Gengo Aoi's first attempts at creating the Pandora and a direct genetic offspring of Maria Lancelot.
* SweetTooth: Her favorite food is a type of cake.
* ToBeLawfulOrGood: As seen in the E-Pandora incident, she picks Lawful.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: To the point of being named after it.
* VillainProtagonist: Narrowly avoided. She adamantly chose to follow orders, ignoring any moral implications from the Chevalier's actions, but did die to save the rest of the Pandora.
* WolverineClaws: Her Volt Weapon's basic form is a large gauntlet with evil-looking claws on the fingertips.
* WorldsBestWarrior: She's indisputably the strongest Pandora of her generation, bar none. At least at the time she was active that is, we eventually find she was part of a group of sisters and one of the two "weaker" ones at that. Not to mention how powerful some other characters grow later in the series.

The second-ranked strongest third-year student, from the United Kingdom. Elizabeth is the leader of the third-years who maintain the Academy's hierarchy and punish those who break them. When she hears news of Miyabi's defeat at the hands of Satellizer early in the series, she orders Attia to take care of the matter, but was stopped by Chiffon, who orders her to stop targeting Satellizer. She initially refuses to let go of the grudge, but ultimately abandons it after Satellizer helped them defeat the Nova Forms during their attack at West Genetics. Among other interests, her family also runs a cosmetics firm and a winery; a running gag has her offer items to other Pandora at a corporate discount. Despite her attitude, Elizabeth is of the most noble characters in the series, firmly believing in the philosophy of ''[[ComesGreatResponsibility noblesse oblige]]''.
----
* TheAce: While the other Pandora could barely stay alive against the Nova-possessed Pandora, Elizabeth had very little trouble dealing with them.
* AttackDrone: Her volt weapon, Stigma Satellite System, is two of these.
* BattleCouple: With Andre.
* BreakoutCharacter: Originally a recurring character who is trying to bully Satellizer through her cohorts, she became one of the popular characters in the story due to her good-natured side came to light in regards of her actions of choosing being good over law during the E-Pandora arc.
* BreakTheCutie: In retaliation for her choosing [[ToBeLawfulOrGood Good rather than Lawful, the E-Pandora executives torture her and use their influence to destroy her family's reputation and corporation.]]
* BringMyBrownPants: She's forced to endure her torture in her bra and panties, and she pees herself during it.
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: Elizabeth's early chapters portray her as an extremely cold, order-obsessed, borderline tyrant who wants Satellizer broken for her insubordination to the third years. She later becomes someone who has a deep sense of compassion and justice, who seeks to challenge the rules and was someone who never knuckled under to others because 'those are the rules' when she was younger. She's pretty much a different person entirely.
* DeflectorShield: She doesn't even need a Limiter, really.
* {{Determinator}}: She chooses to go aid the E-Pandora despite suffering nerve damage from ElectricTorture.
* EnergyWeapon: Her Volt Weapon.
* EntertaininglyWrong: She presumes, like many others, that Kazuya's avoidance of Satellizer was due to him "beginning to stray" in regards to Cassandra, and is the one who suggests SlippingAMickey on Kazuya in response. She was shocked upon seeing a conscious Kazuya during The Busters Arc.
* {{Foil}}: To Satellizer, as both are British girls comes from a wealthy family. Unlike the Hot-Headed Satella who has a DarkAndTroubledPast and a melee-based fighter, Elizabeth has a happy childhood and is more composed who preferred long-ranged weaponry at her disposal.
* GoodOldFisticuffs: During the Alaska arc, Elizabeth beats down Amelia Evans with her bare hands and a few kicks.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite initial evidence to the contrary, she is actually a kind and compassionate person, though she hides it very well. She even tries to coach Amelia Evans during their "mock battle," and when told to continue the fight until Amelia is incapacitated, tries to take her down quickly so Amelia doesn't harm herself trying to win. This is not even discounting the extreme physical pain and sacrifice she went through to expose the mistreatment of the E-Pandora.
* LadyOfWar: Even more so than Satellizer.
* {{Ojou}}: The daughter and sole heiress of the extremely wealthy Mably family.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: She blows the whistle on the illegal operations of the Chevalier regarding the E-Pandora, and is electrically tortured until she can barely stand being touched, let alone function like a human being.
* PetTheDog: Eating with the E-Pandora and making it clear she considers them to be nothing less than fellow warriors. This attitude, and her justification for it, earn her Amelia's respect.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Initially nowhere near Chiffon's level, but she does call the dogs off of Satellizer and publicly praises her for saving Cathy's life. Later, upon realizing the Seniors have acquired a reputation as [[BloodKnight blood thirsty]], LawfulStupid {{Knight Templar}}s, she works to try and rehabilitate their image with what is quite possibly the most hilarious soccer game ever committed to print.
* RedBaron: "The Reigning Academy Enforcer."
* RedOniBlueOni: The compassionate leader to Arnett's fiery, bloodthirsty one.
* {{Roboteching}}: She can fire curved lasers, but their accuracy is low without a targeting system to back her up.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: During the Alaska Arc.
* ShutUpHannibal: Charles asks Elizabeth if she's happy about Andre's decision to push his Freezing [[HeroicRROD and cause stigmata corruption that nearly kills him.]] Her answer: [[PrecisionFStrike "Of course not! You little fucking shit!"]]
* SkinnyDipping: She swims in the 3rd year's private pool naked, while the others use swimsuits. Later on, she is naked at poolside [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl among relative strangers]]. [[NotDistractedByTheSexy Nobody seems to think]] [[UnusuallyUninterestingSight that this is at all unusual]].
* TheStarscream: She was more or less this during the Manga's early days towards the ever so [[BadassPacifist pacifistic]] Chiffon Fairchild, whose rule, In Elizabeth's POV, is far too passive and loose in terms of upholding the student hierarchy.
* ToBeLawfulOrGood: Upon realizing how the E-Pandora are being sacrificed in a political game, she chooses to be good, and risks being charged with treason to tell her father to try and investigate the E-Pandora project.
* TookALevelInKindness: And paid for it big time.
* WhatTheHellHero: Slaps Chiffon and calls her out for choosing to follow the Chevalier instead of helping the E-Pandora.
* WhiteMansBurden: Elizabeth's father raised her to believe in the concept of "noblesse oblige" (French for "nobility obliges"), referring to the wealthy's responsibility to help the less privileged, which is what leads her to side with the E-Pandoras.
* WorfHadTheFlu: The electric torture the Chevalier put her through damaged her nerve endings, making it harder for her to use her {{Attack Drone}}s at their full potential in her fight against Bonaparte.

Ticy is the third-ranked third-year student. She hails from Finland, and acts as Chiffon's assistant in the position of Student Council Vice-President.
----
* AccidentalHero: During her second Carnival, when Chiffon took out 50 freshman Pandora, Ticy was the only one to damage Chiffon. [[TalkingTheMonsterToDeath By just talking to her]] and [[IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight telling her to go back to her kind self,]] Ticy got Chiffon to stop fighting and pass out in a cold heap. Ticy was declared the winner and became the 3rd-ranked Pandora of her class.
* AndYourLittleDogToo: Her beloved pet turtle, Tii, was held hostage by some [[AlphaBitch Alpha Bitches]] until Ticy got some lewd photos of Chiffon. Sadly, they were too prideful to read the care instructions and ended up killing Tii.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Chiffon was the only student to treat her nicely before and after Ticy's first Carnival. See TookALevelInBadass to see what Chiffon's kindness drove her to be.
* CurbStompBattle: Her defeat of Arnett during the election duel and the way she took out the Nova that nearly killed Elizabeth during the Platoon 13 joint training exercise.
* ExtremeDoormat: She was treated like crap before Chiffon arrived and became her friend.
* HeroicBSOD: During the Platoon 13 joint exercise, she's freaking out majorly and can't fight, all while a ghost of Chiffon mocks her for being a DirtyCoward. It isn't until Elizabeth and Andre show up and put themselves in danger yet again to help her that she's able to get a grip.
* HiddenHeartOfGold: Develops a facade, appearing to be stoic and standoffish in public, to present herself as a serious and capable leader that can truly succeed Chiffon. In reality, she's still [[HeartBrokenBadass emotionally devastated by Chiffon's death, but only reveals her emotions when she's by herself or under severe emotional stress.]]
* ImportantHaircut: She cuts her hair to perfectly resemble Chiffon's, ribbon in hair included, after Chiffon's death. The ribbon, though, is discarded after her power-up moment in the joint exercise.
* PowerGivesYouWings: After facing her fears during the Pandora-Valkyrie exercise and resolving to help Elizabeth fight no matter how much damage she takes in the process, she sprouts wings similar to Satellizer and Rana's and gains a major power boost. This is stated to be a "parting gift" by the phantom of Chiffon that had been haunting Ticy's thoughts the entire time.
* RedBaron[=/=]NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: "The Hitman."
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue to Arnett's red in ''Freezing: First Chronicle''. Plays this role again once she becomes Student Council President.
* SupportingProtagonist: Serves as this to Chiffon in ''Freezing: First Chronicle''.
* TakingUpTheMantle: She puts herself forward as a nominee for Student Council President in order to take up Chiffon's legacy. She then relinquishes the title to Elizabeth once Elizabeth comes back to Genetics.
* TaremeEyes: before Chiffon's death. Regains them after coming to terms with Chiffon's death and giving the post of Student Council President to Elizabeth.
* TsurimeEyes: after Chiffon dies, as a part of her stoic mask. Couples with DullEyesOfUnhappiness and [[PerpetualFrowner never smiling, making it look like she's emotionally dead inside.]]
* TookALevelInBadass:
** At first she was known as "zero points," and was constantly bullied. By the time of one of her sophomore Carnivals, she holds 3rd rank at 2,200 points.
** After the 11th Nova Clash, she defeats Arnett in a CurbStompBattle to determine which one of them will become the next president of the Student Council.
** During the botched Pandora-Valkyrie joint exercise, a new burst of HeroicResolve enables her to become even stronger, and she cuts down one of the super-strong Nova thrashing Elizabeth in one strike.

The fourth-ranked third-year student, who hails from Switzerland. Though unable to use Tempest Turn, she's nevertheless a highly proficient user of the Accel Turn technique, being able to move so quick she can attack from another direction than where she appears to be, the only trace of her being a mere afterimage. Her Accel Turn is unique even among other "Accel-only" types, as she can use Double and Triple Accel without the typical lag between turns. Morrison is her Limiter.
----
* AxCrazy: When there's a weapon in her hand, or when she's fired up to fight.
* BerserkButton: Do not, under any circumstances, insult her father. Messing with Elizabeth or any of her other friends is equally as bad.
* BloodKnight: If her nickname isn't evidence enough, the bloodthirsty smiles she gives out whenever she fights and her general eagerness to fight speaks volumes.
* ContinuitySnarl: She was originally from Switzerland. When ''Freezing Zero'' came out, her nationality was changed to American.
* CuteAndPsycho: Very attractive. Also very prone to cutting and/or beating anyone that gets in her way.
* DaddysGirl: She initially refused to become a Pandora because she didn't want to leave her dad. Despite being surrounded by girls from some of the richest and most prestigious families in the world, she proudly declares her father's name to them and calls him the best truck driver in the world.
* DisneyDeath: She's killed by the humanoid Nova, only to be revived a couple of chapters later.
* DontYouDarePityMe: Arnett has an ''extreme'' inferiority complex when she first arrives at West Genetics and compensates by being a total jerk to everyone she meets. When Attia called her out for it and asked Arnett to apologize for insulting her father so they could be friends, Arnett outright attacked her.
* DrillSergeantNasty: To Morrison in ''Pair Love Stories''; upon seeing him in a sorry state for believing an upperclassman's idiotic advice to take voyeur pictures in the girls's bath (apart from being a complete idiot in the first place), she personally trains and tutors him to prepare him for his future Pandora partner... Who turned out to be ''her.''
* FieryRedhead: Though she can restrain herself, Arnett is known for her infamously bad temper and attitude, as evidenced by her other nickname, "Mad Dog."
* FireForgedFriends: Elizabeth, Cleo, Ingrid and Attia are her TrueCompanions after everything they've been through, and she loves them like her sisters.
* FlashStep: Can Double and Triple Accel without the lag between jumps.
* GamerChick: She got a handheld console for her fourteenth birthday, and she can often be seen playing video games with her limiter Morrison.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Put a weapon in her hands and she's as AxCrazy as they come, and anyone who makes an enemy out of her probably won't enjoy it. However, when she isn't acting as Elizabeth's attack dog or being manipulated by Attia, she's easily the nicest and most outgoing of all the third-year students.
* MirrorCharacter: Arnett acts as this to both Attia and Charles Bonaparte, given that they all share the same BerserkButton when it comes to their fathers being disrespected; however, she has more in common with Charles, since they're both from lower-class backgrounds than most Pandora and happen to be intensely bloodthirsty, the primary differences being their physical builds and heights.
* MoralMyopia: Despite her aforementioned BerserkButton over the mere perception that someone that someone is disrespecting her father, she badmouthed Attia's more than once during ''Freezing: Zero''.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: During basic training, Arnett tried to help one of the other girls, who the rest of the girls were being absolutely vicious to because her sister was a deserter. The result? Arnett was similarly ostracized and bullied for the rest of training.
* NumberTwo: To Elizabeth, if the first chapter of ''Freezing: First Chronicle'' is any indication.
* RedBaron: "The Blood-Spewing Trickster"
* RedOniBlueOni: The Red to Ticy's blue in ''Freezing: First Chronicle'' and in the main series proper, once she loses to Ticy in the Student Council President Election Battle.
* SheWhoFightsMonsters: Due to admittedly bad experiences during basic training, Arnett had a massive chip on her shoulder towards the much more affluent Pandora typically attending Genetics by the time she enrolled. She spent most of her early time there shunning, taunting, bullying, and attacking people much weaker than her not because they themselves had done anything wrong, but because of who their family happened to be. The girls she had a bad experience with during basic training? They shunned, bullied, and attacked one girl solely because of who her older sister was, and when Arnett tried to help her she ended up getting the same treatment.
* TakingUpTheMantle: After Elizabeth temporarily retires.
* UndyingLoyalty: Again, to Elizabeth. It took a little time for them to see eye-to-eye, though; once they did, Arnett became so loyal to Elizabeth that badmouthing Elizabeth or her ideals pretty much serves as another berserk button for Arnett, almost as bad as insulting Arnett's father.
* UnstoppableRage: Towards Charles after she brutalizes Attia.
* WorthyOpponent: Sees Ticy as one after losing to her.

Ranked 5th among the 3rd years, she hails from Germany. A comrade of Arnett and Attia.
----
* BoyishShortHair: It's spiky and barely reaches past her ears.
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: As seen in Freezing: Pair Love Stories. Before her growth spurt in her 3rd year, her TokenMiniMoe status induced far more than mere CutenessProximity in the other Pandora. Be they her under- or upperclassmen, all her female schoolmates were apparently unable to resist pinching, groping, and generally sexually harassing her.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: ''Pair Love Stories'' portrays her pre-baptism relationship with her future limiter Itsuki as this; she only barely reaches up to his lower abdomen.
* HugeSchoolGirl: A year after having become Itsuki's partner (which included a serious, no-junk-food diet) she now towers over a lot of the other Pandora at Genetics, and now has a fuller and more mature body. She's still relatively shorter than her limiter though.
* IGotBigger: In the ''Freezing Zero'' and ''Pair Love Stories'' prequel chapters, she's a lot smaller.
* InstantCosplaySurprise: Got dragged into one by a few seniors midway into her ''Pair Love Stories'' chapter, until Itsuki found her and got her out of the mess.
* NotSoStoic: When Rana keeps on fighting her despite numerous injuries, and when Charles beats the crap out of Attia.
* ParentalAbandonment: Grew up in an orphanage prior to getting admitted at West Genetics.
* RedBaron: "Lightning Hammer."
* TheStoic: Most of the time, though when she gets pissed, the mask drops pretty fast.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Some translations spell her first name as "Creo".
* TokenMiniMoe: The ''Pair Love Stories'' spin-off prequel portrays her as this, which induces CutenessProximity ([[EvenTheGirlsWantHer and then some]]) among the mature-looking pandora at West Genetics.

The sixth-ranked strongest third-year student, hailing from Italy. Early in the series, she begins to manipulate the other third-year Pandora to take out Satellizer under Elizabeth's orders, and later tricks Rana into fighting Satellizer, but was later stopped by Chiffon and Ticy's intervention. Though no longer allowed to target Satellizer following the incident, she still plots elaborate schemes to humiliate her, but this becomes less and less important as time goes on.
----
* ACupAngst: Has been seen glaring angrily at the larger busts of other characters from time to time.
* AlphaBitch: She's haughty, arrogant, and rude, and thinks nothing of putting her underclassmen in their place.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Her limiter, Mark, is shown to be more intelligent and manipulative than Attia herself in ''Pair Love Stories''. To put this on perspective, Attia's persistent attempts at outsmarting Mark resulted in her developing feelings for him and choosing him as her limiter which was actually his plan all along.
* BatmanGambit: She pulled a scheme to trick Rana into fighting Satellizer.
* BerserkButton: Insulting Elizabeth or her ideals, as Charles finds out. Also, insulting her father, though Arnett pressed that one when they first met.
* IdiotBall: Attia repeatedly goaded Charles, one of the elite of the Pandora. When Charles was attempting to avoid a confrontation with any Pandora, Attia called her out and mocked her status as a member of team 13. As the argument escalates Charles again attempts to disengage from the argument and concedes that she lost to Elizabeth; not satisfied with this Attia demands an apology from her and threatens to attack for not apologizing. This leads to Attia on the receiving end of a curb stomp battle; and even after losing Attia continues to act superior to Charles even though the battle accomplished nothing and was instigated by her. Charles at this point begins to lose patience with Attia and instead of stopping Attia continues to mock Charles and her father even though Attia is defenseless. When Charles threatens to seriously harm Attia and now rightfully demands an apology for antagonizing and attacking her; Attia does not stop acting superior and gets in one last jab at Charles before Charles sinks her blade into Attia's chest. Attia did all this just because she wanted to prove that Elizabeth was superior; a fact that Charles did concede.
* ManipulativeBitch: As her nickname implies.
* TheNapoleon: She is the shortest and most irritable member of Elizabeth's group.
* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: Attia finds herself on the wrong side of one of these when she challenges Charles Bonaparte to a fight for making fun of Elizabeth, culminating in Charles ''actually cutting Attia's breasts off.''
* PutOnABus: The injuries Charles gave her have kept her out of the action for the better part of the Valkyrie and Busters arcs.
* RedBaron: "The Manipulative Schemer."
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: Shares this philosophy with Elizabeth.
* ShorterMeansSmarter: She's the one with all the plans in the third-year group, as her name shows, but she's also the shortest one out of all of them, either at or slightly below even Charles' height.
* SmugSnake: She likes to plot more than fight, which leaves her fairly weak in terms of combat strength relative to the other third years in Elizabeth's group.
%%* TokenMiniMoe
* UndyingLoyalty: As a member of Elizabeth's class and cohort, she developed this for much the same reasons that Arnett did--that is, going through the hell that was training together.

The seventh-ranked third-year student, a transfer from Germany. Her strong determination to punish those who break the Academy's rules stems from an incident that happened during her second year at the Academy; Marin Maxwell, a friend of hers, sacrificed herself to defeat a Nova and save the rest of the trainee class from dying. Believing the disorder of the lower ranks was the cause for Marin's death, she became fanatically obsessed with establishing and instilling order, regardless of the means or consequences. She is a proficient user of the Tempest Turn technique.
----
* TheAlcoholic[=/=]DrowningMySorrows: She's seen drinking to deal with her own failure regarding Marin's death, and it's implied this isn't an uncommon occurrence among Pandora.
* BloodKnight: When she gets pissed off, she doesn't stop until there's only one person left standing.
* FailureKnight: Marin's death left her with a deep sense of self-loathing and an obsession with rules.
* FieryRedhead: Only when agitated into it.
* HardWorkHardlyWorks: Came to believe this during her first year at Genetics, until Elizabeth pointed out just how hard even naturally talented Pandora had to constantly push themselves to be as good as they were.
* HonorBeforeReason: She toes the third-year party line of "juniors must obey seniors" even more harshly than the other members of Elizabeth's group because of the circumstances of Marin's death.

----
* BondageIsBad: Invokes the look and mannerisms for sex appeal, and while successful, it only reinforces her SmallNameBigEgo qualities.
* BloodKnight: Once Satellizer cuts her face, Miyabi pretty much goes out for blood. Lots of blood.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Miyabi molests Satellizer, takes embarrassing pictures of the whole thing, and almost lets her Limiters sexually assault Satellizer because Kazuya rejected her.
* HateSink: An utterly loathsome character to many in and out of universe. Where to begin? Being an utterly monstrous bitch? Check. Being a {{paedo|hunt}}phile? Check. Going so far as to ''molest'' Satellizer and prepare to set her limiters on her? Check.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: In the anime, Chiffon manages to talk Satellizer down when she's about to thrust Nova Blood into Miyabi's chest. In the manga, Chiffon fails, though apparently [[GoodThingYouCanHeal Miyabi survives]].
* JerkAss: Calling her a Jerkass is the understatement of the century. See the DisproportionateRetribution example listed above.
* KickTheDog[=/=]BullyingADragon: To Satellizer and Kazuya. She won't be doing that again.
* RedBaron: "The Rookie Limiter Devourer."
* SmallNameBigEgo: Brags proudly about her title as the Liberator of Virtue, despite the fact that it's not that great and she's not that strong.
* SmugSnake: She only has the upper hand against Satellizer because she has strength in numbers. When that's gone, Satellizer is way stronger than her, and proves that point very violently.
* TheVamp: Has a thing for dominatrix play involving younger boys.

Satellizer's self-declared rival, a second year student from England. Very competitive and [[HotBlooded hot headed]], her Carnival victory over Satellizer earns her Rank SS and the title of number 1 Pandora of the second year, which she wastes no time in bragging to Satellizer about. Despite her obnoxious personality traits, she is steadfastly loyal to the cause, and will do everything in her power to fight the Nova or help her fellow Pandora when they need it most. Her Limiter is Kazuya's classmate Arthur, whom she is apparently quite fond of. Her Volt Weapon, the Binding Chains, manifests as a number of flail-like chains.
----
* ChainPain: She can strike her targets with either the flails of her Volt Weapon or the chains themselves.
* [[CombatTentacles Combat Chains]]: Her Binding Chains emerge from her back and fly in whatever direction she wants.
* FieryRedhead: Lots of attitude, particularly when it comes to Satellizer.
* GirlishPigtails: Two of them, one on each side of her head.
* HellBentForLeather: During the Pandora Queen contest in episode 8.
* HotBlooded: Ganessa keeps challenging Satellizer, which shows she has a [[{{Determinator}} lot of guts]] or she is [[IdiotBall really stupid]].
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Unlike most Volt Weapons, Binding Chains extends from her body.
* JerkAss -> JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Early on you may wonder why a NiceGuy like Arthur would ''want'' to be her Limiter given her smarmy attitude toward Satellizer and general obnoxiousness. Despite that, though, she's also one of the few Pandora who considers Satellizer a friend, or at least enough of a comrade to risk her life for.
* NoblewomansLaugh: Gives off a nice one whenever she's feeling in control of a situation.
* OutOfFocus: Genessa maintained a stable presence in the plot up til the 10th Nova Clash. She gets a cameo in the Valkyrie Arc, but that's been all she's had since.

----
* AdultsAreUseless: As straight an example as they come. The third-year students essentially wage an all-out against against Satellizer, and they punish Satellizer instead of the third-year students.
* BoobBasedGag: According to a post on Dal-young Lim's blog, Kim has the largest bust size. When Kazuha [[FunbagAirbag crashes]] into her, Kazuha is knocked off her feet. It's even lampshaded.
-->'''Shion:''' Did you hear that?\
'''Elize:''' They went 'boing~'
* BreastAttack: Her weakness. A tad unsurprising, considering how large and sensitive her breasts are, and that it's revealed in an OVA that (despite her tough/teacher-like persona) Yu-Mi succumbs rather quickly to sexual arousal and pleasure; leaving her easy to seduce and defeat.
* TheMcCoy:
** Despite her responsibilities and high-ranking position at West Genetics, Yu-Mi has shown to more often than not follow her heart rather than her head. As seen in Freezing: Zero, she has been this way since her days as a student.
** When Gengo Aoi attempts to recruit her and the other teachers into his new organization, Yu-Mi rants and raves about how selfish he is for dragging so many others into his personal rebellion, while also harboring suspicions that he means to make himself ruler of the world. She ends up clashing with her more logical peers.
* HotTeacher: Mostly due to her age (23) and her gigantic breasts, but as stated, she pulls double duty as a physics teacher and a training instructor.
* TheStarscream: In chapter 204, she's desperate to escape West Genetics and sell out Dr. Aoi to Chevalier. What she fails to realize as she's trying to recruit powerful Pandora and limiters, namely the main characters, to help her in this endeavor is that Chevalier considers Gengo ''withdrawing peacefully'' as a MoralEventHorizon for him, and all the Pandora at West Genetics, and will do anything to see them all dead, [[WeHaveReserves consequences be damned]] killing them on sight.

* DualWield: As explained above.
* HospitalHottie: Much like Yumi, she's young, but is head nurse of the entire academy.
* NotAMorningPerson: Established in ''Freezing Zero''.
* TheSpock: She is the logic to Yu-Mi's heart. When both are confronted by Gengo Aoi's revolt and attempt to usurp the Chevalier, Elize approaches the problem logically, noting that it is a simple fact of reality that the Chevalier is both corrupt and evil enough to kill all of them regardless of whether they side with Gengo or not.

* TheDragon: To Gengo Aoi. She may be in charge of West Genetics, but Gengo calls the shots.

Known as the Immortal, Roxanne is a Pandora from Genetics America, based in the United States. She is capable of regenerating any part of her body, and is sometimes addressed as "Zombie Girl" and "Undead" by Charles as a result. She is one of the top five strongest third-year Pandora at Genetics worldwide, being ranked second.
----
* AmbiguouslyBi: She gropes other girls, she performs MarshmallowHell on other girls, she invites other girls to stare at her chest (showing some disappointment when they decline), she has quite a bit of LesYay going on with Charles. On the other hand, Freezing: Pair Love Stories reveals that she is (or at least was at some point) in love with her Limiter, Han Shijin, whom she also pursued rather aggressively.
* TheAntiNihilist: Roxanne realizes a Pandora's life will most likely be short and bloody. However, instead of using this as an excuse to be a bitch, she sees it as the best reason for Pandora to become TrueCompanions, and she is more than willing to sacrifice her own life for a friend.
* AttackDrones: Those two shields of hers can split apart into over a dozen independent, flight-capable units. They don't quite seem to have the kind of offense a proper Stigma Satellite System has, but we've only seen them in a single blink-and-miss-it scene so far.
* BerserkButton: She has a few, some PlayedForLaughs and some not. Being called "zombie" or "granny" tends to get PlayedForLaughs. Hearing people insult those weaker than them simply ''because'' they're weaker is a major one for her.
* BewareTheNiceOnes[=/=]BewareTheSillyOnes: She's eccentric, perverted, outgoing, and personable. However, if you manage to piss her off, she can and will unleash a world of hurt on you.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: She comments "this story is set at a school," before saying something to the effect of "the readers would be disappointed if she didn't do something interesting."
* ButtMonkey: Her energetic and easy-going personality lends itself well to making her the butt of a lot of jokes.
* CheshireCatGrin: Specifically, this is the type of smile she typically wears.
* CoolBigSis: She plays this trope all around, but she seems to especially fill this role for Charles, and is actually responsible for a lot of the latter's CharacterDevelopment.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Don't let that goofy exterior fool you. She's the second strongest Pandora in the world (upgraded to first strongest after the Alaska mess), for a ''reason''. At 20% power, she wiped the floor with Arnett, who had [[TookALevelInBadass taken enough levels in badass]] to give Charles trouble, without even getting her clothes dirty. This all happened when Arnett was going all out and was BrainwashedAndCrazy, which drastically increased her abilities at the time. After ''that'' she single-handedly held off two of the Saurian Nova that were practically soloing entire groups of Pandora.
* CutenessProximity: Her heart absolutely [[{{Squee}} MELTS]] at the adorable sight of Satellizer's embarrassment after Roxanne gropes Satellizer's breasts. ([[ImTakingHerHomeWithMe "She's so cute!! She's just TOO CUTE!!"]])
* DiedStandingUp: Her legs and part of her lower body were the only parts of her left, and they were standing straight up.
* DisneyDeath: She gets possessed by a Nova, but [[HeroicWillpower she manages to fight it off for long enough to kill herself]]. A few chapters later, she's resurrected. She even lampshades it:
-->Cha... rles... Check it out... I... I can't believe it, I really am immortal... (Man am I awesome...)
* DyingAsYourself: The point of her suicide, though she is later healed by Windy May.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: After everyone at the Alaska base first finds out that Kazuya is Gengo's grandson, most of the Pandora are understandably nervous and intimidated by it. Roxanne walks right up to him and says hi, before telling him she sympathizes with his (and his family's) hardships and that she respects their strength. She then gropes Satellizer with a huge grin on her face, and follows that by bringing up a few points about the E-Pandora project--mostly talking about how it seems too good to be true and how it boils down to outright human experimentation. This tells you all you need to know about Roxanne--she's friendly and outgoing, and a bit of a pervert, but [[ObfuscatingStupidity not nearly as stupid as she acts]].
* FaceDeathWithDignity[=/=]HeroicSuicide: She overrides the Nova's mind control and kills herself so she wouldn't keep attacking and killing her comrades. Her final words to them:
-->I don't have much time, so I'll make this quick. This Nova is really strong, don't be distracted by sympathy or weak thinking. And it's not my style to be a burden to you, so let me say good bye while I have this chance.
* TheFettered: She'll never use her Volt Weapon, or even her high-end skills, on another Pandora. This is because she realizes that comrades have to trust each other, and that abusing her strength to prove a point only breaks that trust.
* FieryRedhead: Played with; she's generally the most mellow of the Pandora in any given group, but when she's ready to fight, she doesn't pull her punches.
* TheGadfly: She has shades of this around most people, but around [[VitriolicBestBuds Charles]], it really comes out.
* GenkiGirl: She's always cheerful, extremely energetic, and much more outgoing than Chiffon.
* HairTriggerTemper: Played for laughs; she has a lot of pet peeves that are very easy to set off, but she doesn't react too seriously most of the time, settling for playfully scolding people instead. Getting her ''actually angry'', however, is a very different story. [[BewareTheNiceOnes Just make sure you don't actually pull it off]].
* HealingFactor: Supposedly, you can hit her as many times as you like and she'll still get up. Hence her nickname.
* TheHeart: Roxanne is very proactive in trying to head off conflicts and make teammates feel included and welcome. This isn't just towards Pandora; she extends the same courtesy to the E-Pandora, even though at the time they were so much weaker than her she could have killed them all single-handedly, and to the Valkyries--who made it clear that they were either indifferent to the Pandora or eager to replace them.
* HeroicWillpower: She gets mind-controlled by a Nova at the end of Chapter 134, and is forced to fight her friends. However, after hearing Charles beg her to come back to herself, she manages to fight off the Nova's control for a short period of time.
* HiddenDepths: She's a lot more insightful than she originally appears, and she's pretty good at reading people. Chiffon even says Roxanne is actually more serious than anyone else she knows.
* HumbleHero: Well, OK, she's ranked #2 in the world (later #1). She knows she's ridiculously powerful for a Pandora, but she's not arrogant. She treats other Pandora, even those far weaker than her, as equals, and she will readily admit when she's hopelessly outclassed.
* InsistentTerminology: She's not a "Zombie-Woman," or an "Undead," thank you very much. She's "The Immortal." It sounds cooler.
* TheKirk: Not in the context of any specific team of three, but she's one of the few characters we've seen who has been able to balance cold logic with her sense of right and wrong, which makes her a good mediator when people actually bother to listen to her. She has moral reasons for doing things like blindly obeying orders (see [[MyCountryRightOrWrong My World Government, Right or Wrong]]), and cold, logical reasons for being a good person, even when being the better person is difficult (see TheFettered).
* TheLeader: She's the second in command of Squad 13 (after Suna Lee), and she's well suited to the job: she's kind and charismatic, acts as a mediator, and can put aside her own feelings so she can keep her eyes on what matters. The only thing she's lacking in is assertiveness, so people often don't listen to her even when they really should.
* LovableSexManiac: She states in the anime that she's more comfortable naked, seems oddly comfortable with other girls' bodies, and she seemed to enjoy spanking other Pandora ''way'' to much.
-->'''Pandora:''' Aaah! Don't spank me!!\
'''Roxanne:''' Eheh~ Those're some nice childbearing hips you've got on you~
* [[MyCountryRightOrWrong My World Government, Right or Wrong]]: Roxanne subscribes to a less extreme version of this for practical reasons. She wants to do what is right and what will ultimately help humanity, so she'll follow any orders she's given; the way she sees it, the people giving the orders are the ones who likely have the most information, meaning their decisions are more informed and more ''likely'' to be right. She's still willing to criticize the lack of morals and ethics in the government, or be skeptical about certain things she's told, she's willing to admit when the government's orders are wrong, and she has the capacity to forgive those who disobeyed said orders.
* NiceGirl: She's got to be the most unambiguously nice Pandora in the entire series. Take the [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold jerks with hearts of solid gold]], such as Satellizer, Elizabeth, Arnett, and Chiffon, keep the altruism, good intentions, etc. that make them good people, get rid of the [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold abrasive]]/[[SugarAndIcePersonality aloof]]/[[AxCrazy ax-crazy]]/[[TheCynic depressingly cynical]] personalities, and replace them with a genuinely friendly and outgoing personality with [[GenkiGirl a]] [[NoSenseOfPersonalSpace few]] [[LovableSexManiac quirks]]--you get Roxanne in a nutshell.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: She [[ThanksForTheMammary gropes Satellizer]] and later on spanks another Pandora, both times in public and surrounded by others.
* OddFriendship: With Charles. NiceGirl and {{Jerkass}}.
* OnlySaneWoman: Despite her eccentric personality, she often calls out irrational or impractical behavior when she sees it, focusing on trying to make sure that Pandora survive to keep fighting the Nova.
* PerpetualSmiler: The only times she stops smiling are when shit really hits the fan.
* PluckyComicRelief: When she's not being badass, she's this. Her quirky personality, perverted tendencies, and lack of any real major psychoses help.
* ThePollyanna: Unless she's on the losing end of a CurbStompBattle, she's eternally cheerful and optimistic, and unlike *ahem* [[StepfordSmiler certain others]], this isn't a façade. It's not that she isn't aware of how dangerous her job is, or what's at stake, she just refuses to let it get to her.
* ProperTightsWithASkirt: After the Alaska Arc, she switches out her [[ZettaiRyouiki thigh socks]] for these.
* RedBaron: "The Immortal"
* ShowerOfAngst: After TheReveal that Chevalier has officially renounced the entirety of West Genetics following the Busters' attack.
* SlasherSmile: She's been known to sport one of these in battle every now and then.
* SmarterThanYouLook: She acts stupid, has a perverted streak, and doesn't really seem to take much seriously. However, she's the first person to point out that the E-Pandora project isn't exactly aboveboard, without having any actual evidence of what's really going on.
* TemptingFate: She deliberately groped Satellizer, despite knowing of Satellizer's reputation as the "Untouchable Queen," specifically ''because'' she wanted to see what would happen when she groped someone who was thought of as "untouchable."
--->'''Chiffon:''' "W-W-What are you doing, Roxanne!? Do you not know what 'Untouchable' means!? [[CaptainObvious It means don't touch her]]!!"\
'''Roxanne:''' "But I wanted to see what it'd be like if I did~"
* ThanksForTheMammary: She gropes Satellizer, much to the West Genetics participants' shock and horror. Fortunately for her, Satellizer's trip to Bali had resolved her haphephobia enough to not react with more than embarrassment.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: This happens to her a lot. Unlike the other 99% of the female cast, she won't bring her Volt Weapon or high end skills into an argument between Pandora, which makes a lot of people treat her like a pushover (and to be fair, she kind of is). Still, it's not a good idea to forget she's the #2 in the entire world, and she earned the title of "The Immortal."
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Charles. They toss insults at one another (in fact, Charles is the only one who Roxanne consistently insults and pulls pranks on), but after the stunts Charles pulled at West Genetics, Roxanne's probably the only friend she has.
* WolverineClaws: Like Chiffon, she has a pair of massive clawed gauntlets that control a pair of floating shields. However, her shields are a bit different from Chiffon's, looking much more technological. Interestingly, her Volt Weapon is called the "Fairchild Buster," implying they were developed by the Americans as a countermeasure to be used against Chiffon if it ever became necessary. Given how even Roxanne admits Chiffon is in an entirely different class from her, it's unknown if the Fairchild Buster would've been effective at all.

----
* AdaptationExpansion: The anime added quite a few... quirks to Julia's personality, almost to the point of being a completely different character. She was mostly silent in the manga and almost never interacted with other Pandora. The anime portrayed her as an AmbiguouslyGay LovableSexManiac with NoSenseOfPersonalSpace and heaps of LesYay with Cathy.
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: She doesn't talk very much, if at all, and when she does, her sentences are short and to the point.
* AreaOfEffect: When she realizes she can't dodge Cathy's attacks or retaliate fast enough to hit her, she covers the entire area in shock waves even faster than Cathy to make it impossible for Cathy to move anywhere without getting hit by them.
* AttackDrone: Her Stigma Satellite System makes Elizabeth's look like pea-shooters. Instead of firing [[EnergyWeapon Frickin' Laser Beams]], they fire shock waves that can be used for both offense and defense.
* CustomUniformOfSexy:
** She's one of the most uniquely-dressed Pandora we've seen, if not the most unique. Not only are her socks a different color and length from everyone else's, she wears a partially unbuttoned dress shirt, and over that she has an actual jacket that's once again not even the same color as the standard Pandora uniform.
** Her uniform in the anime wasn't ''as'' customized as in the manga, but it was still the most unique (since Satellizer got the same uniform as everyone else): The top she wore was a sleeveless version of the regular Pandora top, but without all the layers and no CleavageWindow, and she still had short socks and a partially undone top.
* DissonantSerenity: She just won't lose her cool, not even after Cathy beat her.
* DoppelgangerSpin: Though not to the same extent as Charles, she can use Tempest Turn, and Cathy notes during their battle how realistic the clones are.
* EmotionlessGirl: Presents as one, to the point where even pain from injuries barely register to her.
* GaleForceSound: The shock waves she fires from her hands toss around the E-Pandora like they're rag dolls and gauge massive chunks out of the walls.
* GermanicEfficiency: She's German and one of the most coldly efficient Pandora we've seen to date.
* LadyOfWar: She never drops that calm, collected mask, not even when Cathy rips one of her arms off.
* LuminescentBlush: In the anime. When her battle with Cathy destroys the surrounding security cameras, she does this while breaking her stoic facade and gushing about her attraction to Cathy. Cathy is understandably confused and perturbed.
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: She loses her left arm to Cathy, yet she acts like nothing happened.
* MyRulesAreNotYourRules: Those shock waves of hers? Yeah, it turns out she doesn't actually need a manifested Volt Weapon to do that. They just get a lot stronger when she actually does.
* OhCrap[=/=]ThisIsGonnaSuck: When Cathy breaks Mach 3 and gets past Julia's shock wave defense. She looks like she's about to cry.
* PerpetualFrowner: You can count on one hand the number of panels she's appeared in with something other than a neutral frown on her face. Even in official illustrations don't show her with anything other than a frown.
* TheQuietOne: She really doesn't speak much, and when she does...
* RedBaron: "The Maverick."
* ShockwaveClap: Her Division Wave attack fires shock waves that behave like RazorWind at Mach 3.
* SkinshipGrope: In the anime, she loves doing this to other Pandora, but her favorite target/victim is Cathy. She can measure a girl's cup size this way.
* SlaveCollar: Wears a thin belt-like collar around her neck.
* TheStoic: She loses an arm and doesn't even seem to notice, much less express any pain or surprise about it.
* TerseTalker: She says what she needs to say in as few words as possible. Half the time she actually sounds like a robot, like when she started hunting the E-Pandora:
-->''"Enemy target detected. Activation and use of Mark IV confirmed. Commencing elimination procedures immediately."''
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: The rest of the top 5 Pandora (minus Chiffon, of course) came back to feature rather prominently in the Valkyrie arc. Julia, for some reason, is nowhere to be seen. The only explanation given is that she doesn't work well with others, so she wasn't selected to join the group.
* WorthyOpponent: After spending their entire battle looking down on her, Julia finally recognizes Cathy's strength after seeing her destroy a Nova's core in a single blow.

Charles Bonaparte is a member of France Genetics. She likes to listen to classical music on her headphones in order to get motivated for fights, and is known as the Tempest Phoenix for her incredible skill with the Tempest Turn technique. She is extremely loyal to the Chevalier and has a complete lack of tolerance for anyone who rebels against them.
----
* ACupAngst: Taken to disturbing extremes when she cuts off Attia's breasts (though Attia was already pissing her off for a variety of reasons).
* AmbiguouslyGay: While it's not nearly as blatant as Roxanne's sexuality, Charles' attachment to Roxanne seems to be deeper than mere friendship.
* BarrierWarrior: She also has a defensive barrier thanks to her upgraded stigmata, in addition to her immense speed and physical power.
* BerserkButton: She has a few.
** Traitors to the Chevalier, or being reminded she lost to Elizabeth.
** All those pale in comparison to her biggest one: insulting her father, Marks Spencer. In fact, pressing this is what got Attia savaged so badly. Before that, Charles was content to simply beat the tar out of Attia; after Attia insults Charles's father, though, Charles cut off at least one of Attia's breasts.
* BoyishShortHair: Combined with her flat chest and masculine pronouns, it would be quite easy to mistake Charles for a boy.
* CharacterDevelopment: She eventually realizes she should stop being so self-centered about her sense of justice. She also, if slowly, begins to realize she can put her faith in the rest of Platoon 13.
* DaddysGirl: This is apparent as early as Charles' fight with Elizabeth, when her faith in her father spurs her to fight abpve and beyond her limits. Later on, Roxanne gets her to reveal the reason why she so adamantly defends her father's actions--despite knowing what happened to the E-Pandora was wrong, and despite Marks Spencer deserving his comeuppance for doing some admittedly [[KickTheDog horrible things]], Charles hates how he willingly acted as a {{Scapegoat}} for the government. In her eyes, [[HatedByAll everyone thinks he's a monster]] when any other member of the government would have done the same things he did if they'd been selected to oversee the project instead of him.
* DaddysLittleVillain: She is this to Marks Spencer, who saved her as a child and adopted her.
* DeadpanSnarker: She'll snark at anybody who talks to her even when they've pissed her off.
* DeathGlare: She gives one to Elizabeth, Satellizer & co. as she threatens to kill them for high treason after dispatching Amelia.
* DespairEventHorizon: Charles hits this at a run when Roxanne kills herself, and she just keeps on going. While Satellizer and Rana [[UnstoppableRage rush forward to kill the Nova that caused the whole thing]], Charles [[HeroicBSOD just sits there in a horrified daze]] until the other Pandora getting their asses handed to them snaps her out of it.
* DoppelgangerSpin: She can make 10 copies of herself using Tempest Turn.
* FlashStep: She is very good at this.
* FrenchJerk: Given her nationality.
* FreudianExcuse: She was abandoned on the streets as a young child by her poor parents and forced to steal to survive. She was also treated badly by other orphans on the street, and their abuse of outside authority gave her quite a bit of disdain for the lower class and those who took the protection provided by the strong for granted. Couple that with Marks Spencer--a government official who subscribes heavily to IDidWhatIHadToDo--being the first person who was kind to her, and you have someone who is Elizabeth's {{Foil}}.
* GenderBlenderName: Justified, in that Charles, despite being a boy's name, is sometimes given to girls in France.
* TheGlomp: She was so happy to see Roxanne alive again she [[MundaneUtility used Accel to tackle her]].
* HairTriggerTemper: Woah, boy, it does not take much to set this girl off.
* HeadphonesEqualIsolation: She's actually the only character who wears headphones, and she really has only one friend. Even her relationship with her Limiter is strained, and it's pretty clear the two of them aren't equals, but rather in a partnership where Citroen ''takes orders'' from Charles.
* HeelRealization: When Roxanne is BrainwashedAndCrazy and Rana's attempting to stop her, Charles realizes how Gina's friends must have felt when Charles attacked and killed Gina during the E-Pandora arc. The realization that Gina's friends cared for her the same way that Charles cares about Roxanne literally shakes Charles to the core, causing her to break out into TearsOfFear and beg Roxanne to go back to normal.
* HeroicSacrifice: She attempts one in order to buy Arnett enough time to run away from the Nova during the Platoon 13 joint exercise, and even asks Arnett to apologize to Attia on her behalf. RedemptionEqualsDeath is only narrowly avoided by Arnett choosing to fight anyway in an attempt to save Charles' life.
* HiddenHeartOfGold: A good part of her atrocious behavior stems from her father's arrest and her own feelings of inadequacy. A big example of this is how she rages at Satellizer, Rana, and Cathy about how she can't trust them after they disobeyed orders during the E-Pandora arc, despite not giving them a reason to trust her either. If her conversation with Roxanne is any indication, her open hostility in this regard stems from thinking none of them will trust ''her'', thanks to her loyalty to [[ArcVillain Marks Spencer]].
* {{Hypocrite}}: She calls out Elizabeth and co. for disobeying orders and acting on their emotions. The main reason she's so loyal to the Chevalier is because her father is Marks Spencer, one of their highest-ranking members. In other words, she's as motivated by her feelings as they are.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: A lot of her arrogant, self-righteous posturing is a result of her being unsure of herself and her decision to blindly follow orders and fight the E-Pandora. Furthermore, the main reason she picked a fight with Attia is because Attia brought up her defeat to Elizabeth, a very big sore point for her. And then Attia insulted her father.
* {{Jerkass}}: She's calmly and openly condescending and hostile to everyone, even her own Limiter, and dismissive of the E-Pandora. She gradually eases into JerkWithAHeartOfGold territory, but mostly only towards Roxanne.
* JerkassHasAPoint: When Charles first meets Platoon 13, she points out that just recently some of its members were also part of the E-Pandora rebellion, and could have easily crippled the operations of the only organization which can effectively fight the Nova and gotten everyone killed. While Charles is clearly acting like an ass, all previous interactions proved to her that Platoon 13 is easily swayed by emotion, contrary to discipline that is required of soldiers fighting in a life or death situation. Platoon 13 gives no evidence that the next time a morally ambiguous situation arises that they will remain loyal to the Pandora cause, let alone defend Charles during battle. Charles for her part gives them the benefit of the doubt, but until proven otherwise is going to justifiably scrutinize their actions and attitudes.
* KnightTemplar: Absolutely, unrelentingly believes in the righteousness of the Chevalier in the E-Pandora arc. She later admits that she was not quite in the right, and becomes a better person for it.
* LightningBruiser: She's extremely fast, she hits hard, and thanks to her Heroic Stigmata and new technology, she has an extremely powerful defensive barrier.
* MarshmallowHell: She gets a faceful of Roxanne's breasts on at least two separate occasions.
* MoralMyopia: When reintroduced, she is assured the Chevalier were right (if brutal) and Elizabeth was wrong, applying this trope to the Chevalier's actions. Later, Roxanne correctly guesses Charles always knew that the Chevalier were wrong, but was unwilling to admit it because it would have also meant Spencer was wrong too.
* MundaneUtility: At one point, she actually jumped at Roxanne using Accel Turn in order to glomp her.
* [[MyCountryRightOrWrong My World Government, Right or Wrong]]: Charles zig-zags this trope a bit. While she does truly believe the Chevalier is NecessarilyEvil, the real reason she's ridiculously loyal is because she's the adopted daughter of a high-ranking member of the group, and holds her loyalty to him above everyone else. After the events of the E-Pandora arc, she is morally conflicted over her decision, and lashes out as a result.
* TheNapoleon: She hits all the points: temperamental, aggressive, and short. She even gets pissed when [[TheGadfly Roxanne]] teases her or it.
* OddFriendship: With Roxanne. You'd almost wonder why such a kind person like Roxanne would be so attached to a bitch like Charles, but it's because Roxanne realizes just how lonely and insecure she really is.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: She has a [[OlderThanTheyLook significantly smaller build and stature]] than all the other Pandora. She's also quite adept at hand to hand combat and a lot tougher than she looks.
* PrideBeforeAFall: Before Elizabeth and Andre work her over, she's absolutely positive that she's not going to lose.
* RedBaron: "Tempest Phoenix."
* SelectiveObliviousness: She completely ignores Andre willingly sacrificing himself to give Elizabeth a fighting chance. Instead she declares Elizabeth betrayed Andre by using him.
* SlasherSmile:
** The first hint we get she's not nearly as collected as she initially seems is the decidedly unfriendly grin plastered all over her face whenever she fights, or even ''anticipates'' a fight.
** In fact, the very first time we see her (as well as Roxanne and Julia) is a small cameo in Chapter 26 as Milena Marius talks to Cathy Lockharte about the other Top 5 Pandora. Julia is [[PerpetualFrowner frowning]], [[TheStoic like always]], Roxanne is wearing her CheshireCatGrin, and Charles has a vicious SlasherSmile.
* ThisCannotBe: As soon as Andre's HeroicSacrifice pins her down enough for Elizabeth to win.
* WhatTheHellHero: She calls out Elizabeth and co. for assisting the E-Pandora, pointing out how the world was still under threat from the Nova and asking how they would take responsibility if Nova destroyed the world as a result of them acting against the Chevalier who, despite being morally bankrupt, are humanity's bastion against the Nova.
* VillainousBreakdown: Begins to cry very messily and rant in anger as she loses to Elizabeth and Andre.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Roxanne, though there's a bit more vitriol going Roxanne's way than there is going Charles'. Still, the two of them deeply care for each other.

Cathy Lockharte is a Pandora who, at the age of eight, became one of the select few to receive some of the "Heroic Stigmata" used by Kazuha Aoi. She has three of them and a compatibility rate of 90%, whereas most others can boast maybe 20%. Cathy fought Satellizer in the past, and holds severe doubts about whether she really wants to fight as a Pandora as a result of how ferociously Satellizer fought against her.
----
* BadassBookworm: Her hobby is writing novels.
* BecauseImGoodAtIt: A big part of why she became a Pandora was because of her compatibility with the Heroic Stigmata as well as her talent.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Don't let this girl fool you. Sure, she's nice, but when the chips are down she can play hardball with the best of them. When the Pandora started started suffering MindRape of epic proportions during the joint exercise due to their synchronization with the Stigmata, her solution to helping them [[GetAholdOfYourselfMan snap out of it]] was to start pinning them down and ripping out their Stigmata.
* BlueBlood: Her family is rich, and is a part of the Chevalier as well.
* BoringButPractical: As compared to the other top Pandora. Chiffon is ludicrously powerful and isn't even fully human, Roxanne can heal from nearly anything almost instantly and has an experimental Volt Weapon that practically turns her into a human Franchise/{{Gundam}}, Julia can fire RazorWind shock waves without even needing to manifest a Volt Weapon, and Charles can create and control at least ten perfect clones of herself simultaneously. Cathy? She's just really, ''really'', '''really''' fast.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: For a short time when she was first introduced, due to the Nova figuring out how to take control of Pandora through their Stigmata. Fortunately, she got better.
* CharacterDevelopment: By the time we see her again in Alaska, she learned how to be a {{Determinator}} from Satellizer and even showed a bit of actual ego against Julia. When Julia claimed Cathy was considered the weakest of the top five, Cathy said she'd have to get that corrected. She even gave us a PsychoticSmirk or two.
* CowardlyLion: She has a [[TheAce top-ranked simulation and combat record]], but a fight with [[AxCrazy Satellizer]] [[BloodKnight el]] [[{{Determinator}} Bridget]] left her questioning whether or not she's actually fit for combat.
* CripplingOverspecialization: She's an Accel-only type, which means it's impossible for her to use other high-end skills like Tempest Turn.
* FlashStep: They don't call her [[SuperSpeed Godspeed]] for nothing. Not only is she one of the few characters who can use Triple Accel without an interval, meaning that she can basically move extremely fast 3 times in a row without a stop or a stall, ''her'' Triple Accel is more than twice as fast as a regular Pandora's. That's not even getting into her Quadruple Accel, which is so fast it breaks Mach 2 and is explicitly stated to be impossible to dodge, and she can go even faster than ''that'' and break Mach 3 if she wants to. She can literally move faster than an F-22 fighter jet.
* FragileSpeedster: Though Cathy is fast enough to outrun shockwaves traveling at (or exceeding) the speed of sound, Julia mentions Cathy isn't very good at defense.
* TheGift: She has the highest compatibility with the Heroic Stigmata yet seen. Roxanne, Julia, and Charles can boast a rate of about 30% on average. Cathy's is over 90%.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Self-esteem really isn't a strong point for her, and even when she does become more confident in herself she still downplays her own ability.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: Most of her early screen time was spent questioning whether or not she wanted to keep being a Pandora. She originally wanted to be a novelist, but her family wouldn't let her, so she became a Pandora instead. That didn't stop her from continuing to harbor doubts as to whether or not she was even fit to be one, especially after seeing Satellizer's determination to never lose.
* IOweYouMyLife: To Satellizer and Rana, and the sole reason she sided with them to protect the E-Pandora, even if it meant committing treason in the process.
* LonelyRichKid: Her father constantly stressed how important her Pandora status was as a child, to the point that Cathy threw away her own dreams to keep doing the job. As a result, she initially lacks self-confidence because of how badly she denied her own gifts.
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: A couple of chapters after she loses her arm to Julia, she acts like losing it was a normal thing. Of course, given how brutal the Carnivals and battles with the Nova are, it probably ''is'' a normal thing to her.
* NiceGirl: Rie Kugimiya is ''definitely'' PlayingAgainstType this time round.
* OfficialCouple: With Kyoichi, once the whole BrainwashedAndCrazy thing was taken care of.
* OnceDoneNeverForgotten: Being bodyjacked by a Nova and losing to Satellizer. Roxanne told Satellizer beating Cathy was an amazing feat even if she was possessed at the time, while Julia said that incident was proof Cathy was by far the weakest of the top five.
* OneHitKill: She can destroy Nova cores with a single blow. Even Julia and Charles, who are officially stronger than her on paper, are surprised by it.
* RedBaron: "Godspeed."
* ReluctantWarrior: She ''really'' didn't want to be a Pandora at first.
* SpeedBlitz: Using just her Triple Accel let her move faster than Julia could follow with her eyes. When Cathy finally started using her Quadruple Accel, she was moving faster than her opponent could even '''think'''. The only way Julia could defend against it was to emit omnidirectional shock waves to stop Cathy from getting close. Then Cathy got faster and outran the shockwaves.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Early scan groups couldn't seem to agree on whether it was Cassie or some variation of Cathy. The licensed translation decided to go with Cathy.
* TakeAThirdOption: During the E-Pandora incident. She didn't ally with the E-Pandora or with the World Government; she just went along with the people who saved her from being BrainwashedAndCrazy. Those people just happened to side with the E-Pandora in that situation, so she ended up on their side simply by association.
* TimTaylorTechnology: She can temporarily overclock her stigmata for a massive burst in speed to let her exceed Mach 3. The anime decided to dub this technique Quintuple Accel.
* WellDoneSonGuy: Has this sort of relationship with her father, who pressured her into being a Pandora and blatantly refused to let her do anything else with her life.

An E-Pandora said to be "three times stronger" than the others, she entered the program to support her younger brother Luke, who suffers from ALS. She can use Double Accel, but was easily defeated by Elizabeth in a mock battle; however, she has a very strong will and continues to fight even after she is beaten badly and given a concussion, a trait reminiscent of Satellizer. She was the first to try the MARK III medicine, which was a failure and almost killed her.

During the events of the E-Pandora arc, she makes friends with Satellizer and the others, only to be pushed toward the awful truth behind the project after her fellow E-Pandora, Gina, takes the new MARK IV drug and dies in the process. After injecting herself with the drug as well, Amelia hunts down Scarlett Oohara, and learns the truth about the E-Pandora project's nature as a cover for the Type-Maria project; in a fit of despair, Amelia then synchronizes with the Type-Maria clones and becomes a new Nova form, only returning to normal when Chiffon nullifies Amelia's last attack against the Alaska facility and forcibly reverts her to human form.

She reappears as Dr. Oohara's bodyguard when Gengo Aoi brings the Legendary Pandora out of cryo-sleep to fight again.
----
* AndThenJohnWasAZombie: The effects of the MARK IV drug combine with Amelia's angst and all of the Type-Maria clones to turn her into a completely new Nova Form.
* CameBackStrong: Chiffon's sacrifice boosts her capabilities to the point that she's on par with a normal Pandora at a bare minimum.
* CoolBigSis: For Luke. His health and safety are her primary motivations for pretty much everything she's ever done in the story.
* DespairEventHorizon: After being told the E-Pandora project was [[ShaggyDogStory worthless from the start.]] She snaps and eventually becomes a Nova.
* {{Determinator}}: Could rival Satellizer in this aspect, as she's fought while knocked completely unconscious. ''Freezing: Zero'' proves that this has been a character trait of hers from day one, as she worked several jobs for several days straight to make absolutely sure that her little brother could afford the entry fee for the school he tested into. This only becomes more pronounced once she enters the E-Pandora project, as she continuously gives everything she's got in order to stay in the program for Luke's sake.
* DiseaseBleach: Her hair was originally red, but after being injected with the MARK III drug, it goes almost completely white.
* DueToTheDead: She views her entire existence after the E-Pandora arc to be something like this; she feels that if she performs above and beyond the call of duty as an "E-Pandora," she'll honor all of her dead comrades.
* FaceMonsterTurn: After finding out the truth about the E-Pandora project and turning into a Nova. She does a HeelFaceTurn after returning to normal, but so far as Dr. Oohara is concerned....
* JerkassToOne: Specifically, only to Dr. Ohara after the events of the E-Pandora project; she seems to sincerely get along with and care about the other Pandora that sided with her during the events of the E-Pandora arc.
* LastRequest: She acts as the intermediary to deliver each of Chiffon's last requests to Elizabeth, Arnett, Rana, and Ticy. She also makes one to Elizabeth when it becomes clear that Dr. Oohara and the Chevalier plan on disposing of the E-Pandora, asking her to visit Luke and claim she died in battle as Elizabeth's comrade.
* LockedIntoStrangeness: She has one red lock of hair in the middle of her forehead. It's all that remains of her original hair color after the reaction to the MARK III drug. After regaining human form from her Nova form, all her hair goes back to being red.
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: Nova!Gina stabbed her in the chest and she didn't even flinch.
* OneWingedAngel: She becomes a Nova after succumbing to despair and hatred once Dr. Oohara reveals the E-Pandora all died for nothing. Chiffon's HeroicSacrifice changes her back to human form.
* ParentalAbandonment: As part of her backstory; her parents didn't want anything to do with Luke, leaving her to take care of him all by herself.
* PromotionToParent: As a result of her parents' choices, she's taken this position for Luke. The consequences are [[DeconstructedTrope examined pretty realistically]]; though she never resents Luke for it, Amelia had to drop out of school and get several jobs to support them both, which bites her in the ass when she can't get a good enough job to take out a loan. The stress this eventually causes her as she tries to provide for Luke's needs with limited resources--and the sheer desperation she faces once she's in over her head--is part of the reason why she enters the E-Pandora project.
* ShowerOfAngst: During her first week of E-Pandora preparation training, complete with [[TroubledFetalPosition huddling in on herself and shivering with fear.]]
* SoleSurvivor: While at least some of the other E-Pandora were alive at the time, it was ''thinking'' she was this that caused Amelia to snap and enter Nova form. Her dialogue from a scene after she reappears implies that the rest of them are dead, likely due to the effects of the MARK IV.
* TakingYouWithMe: She attempts to do this to the whole Alaska base in her Nova form.
* TrainingFromHell: ''Freezing: Zero'' shows that Amelia had to deal with this as a part of the E-Pandora preparation training. In particular, her regular exercise for the first week has her running enough to vomit and faint on two separate occasions after getting off the treadmill. This is in addition to a grueling training regiment that leaves her exhausted and sweating in pretty much every panel that she's seen in.
* WhosLaughingNow: Amelia's assignment as Dr. Oohara's bodyguard is Amelia's dream job--she gets to watch the person that she hates the most suffer for their crimes, and plans to make sure [[CruelMercy Dr. Oohara lives, no matter what]], just to keep watching that suffering.
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Her hatred of the human race only comes about because of the shit that Dr. Oohara put her through. Returning to normal has effectively mitigated this for her, but she still hates Dr. Oohara with a passion and makes no secret of it when she's alone with Dr. Oohara.
* TheWorldMocksYourLoss: After a particularly stressful day at work she comes across a park where she sees a bunch of couples, reminding her of the fact that she will never have a normal life.

The second strongest E-Pandora. She volunteered for the clinical trial of the MARK IV drug in order to keep the E-Pandora project afloat, but the drug's side effects nearly killed her before she changed into a Nova form and began to wreak havoc in the lab. The Pandora are eventually forced to kill her to stop her.
----
* {{Determinator}}: Submits to the MARK IV drug despite knowing the dangers, manages not to lose herself for about a full day or two, and through sheer force of will, delivers her warning about the drug to Amelia and the others.
* GoneHorriblyRight: The MARK IV increases her powers, as promised. The only issue is [[CameBackWrong what happens afterward.]]
* ParentalAbandonment: Her parents ''sold her'' to the E-Pandora project.
* PresentAbsence: Her death remains a large part of why the events of the E-Pandora arc happened, and later on in the story, the circumstances in which she died serve to help Charles reach a HeelRealization. Amelia, too, draws strength and determination from Gina's memory.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: She didn't get a lot of screentime, but her death sets in motion the events that cause Amelia's total breakdown. That, in turn, causes Chiffon's death, which in its turn causes a whole mess of problems at Genetics and may have even influenced the staging of Gengo Aoi's Valkyrie plan.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Dies within a chapter or two of her introduction.

An E-Pandora who grew up as a lonely, starving orphan. Appears to be the youngest of the group, and is regarded as the little sister figure.
----
* BigEater: Deconstructed, as explained by her backstory; she was a lonely, starving orphan prior to entering the E-Pandora program, so she over-eats a lot.
* OnlyOneName: The only Pandora who doesn't have a last name.

----
* ArrangedMarriage: To Kazuya, not that he wants anything to do with it.
* KissingCousins: With Kazuya, though it's entirely one-sided. Her looking like his sister isn't helping.
* RunningGag: Ouka will claim that she ''doesn't'' feel a certain way because of something that should make her feel that way (like claiming that she has no intention of marrying Kazuya because she loves him so much), leaving the people around her dumbfounded at what she's actually trying to say.
* ThirdOptionLoveInterest: [[HopelessSuitor She's trying]], bless her, but Kazuya's actually pretty frank about the fact that he doesn't like her that way, his grandfather's "orders" be damned.
* UncannyFamilyResemblance: She closely resembles Kazuha.

----
* AloofAlly: According to Ouka, anyway.
* BerserkButton: Mild, but she gets more frown-y than usual when Kazuya calls himself (and the Legendary Pandora, by proxy) monsters because of their genetic link with Maria Lancelot.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: Being a Legendary Pandora, she was on ice for a good period of time, at least 20+ years.
* MagicKiss: Did this to Kazuya. It gives a hint she isn't who others think she is, as he received some pretty trippy visions as a side effect.
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: She wiped out a large group of Saurian Nova, and the audience didn't get to see one bit of it.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Thanks to cryogenic freezing.
* OneManArmy: Again, she wiped out an entire group of Saurian Nova on her own--a type of Nova that was more or less destroying most rank-and-file Pandora that fought them.
* TheReveal: She is actually one of the Legendary Pandora, masquerading as a Valkyrie while waiting for the rest of her sisters to awaken.
* ShockAndAwe, and possibly ChainLightning as well.
* TheStoic: The one time she's smiled scared both Satellizer and Ouka into doing what she said.
* WhamLine: "Cassandra, Teslad, Windy, Chiffon, and Kazuha. They are all my sisters. And the same goes for you, Kazuya Aoi."
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Christine Evora/Barnett]]

----
* DrillHair: Done up into ponytails.
* {{Jerkass}}: Unless you're a Valkyrie, she's not at all interested in playing nice. She can never stop insulting the Pandora, and at one point, she straight up tells a few of them they're obsolete and are about to be replaced.
* JerkassHasAPoint: The Pandora really are needlessly violent toward each other, and Roxanne responding to this criticism with the threat of violence isn't helping her case (even though Roxanne herself is generally quite reasonable).
* MilesGloriosus: She can't stop talking about how the Valkyries are so much better than Pandora, but when the Avian Novas attack, the Valkyries going at full power prove ineffective against just one of them, and Christine herself gets her shoulder torn off. On the other hand, Roxanne, one of the Pandora Christine tended to insult more than most others, was able to hold off two of the Avian Novas at the same time while only going at 20% power, doing better than the entire Valkyrie team.
* PrecociousCrush: Bit of a stretch, but Christine (who is isn't even out of her teens yet) has a massive crush on Gengo Aoi (whose old enough to be her grandfather).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tiziana Ferrari/Caldani]]

----
* BoobBasedGag: Part of her introduction involves her accidentally getting Satellizer angry because she has F-Cup breasts.
* NiceGirl: She seems to be the nicest and most outgoing of the Valkyries.

!!Legendary Pandora of Lab 13
[[folder:Tropes relating to all of them]]
A group of five Pandora specially created from Maria Lancelot's genes 40 years ago. All are said to be several times stronger than regular Pandora, but due to their unstable genetics, they were kept in [[HumanPopsicle cryogenic stasis]] until shortly before the 12th Nova Clash.
----
* ArtificialHuman: They were created in a lab with Maria and Gengo's genes, making the latter pair their biological parents even though sexual intercourse didn't (and probably cannot) take place.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Their mother is Maria Lancelot, giving them large amounts of Stigmatic Tissue.
* OlderThanTheyLook: They were [[HumanPopsicle put in stasis]] for 40 years until Gengo could find a way to handle their power.
[[/folder]]
----

[[folder:Cassandra]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cassandra_3.jpg]]

----
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: The other girls view her as this to Satellizer, since she's bustier, has longer hair and is stronger than Satellizer. The fact that Kazuya starts avoiding Satellizer almost immediately after meeting Cassandra (for completely unrelated reasons) convinces a lot of girls that Kazuya has moved on or traded up in the LoveInterest department. Kazuya's mother Orie also viewed her as this, but was determined to prove to Gengo that Ryuuichi would stay loyal to her and their family in spite of Cassandra's beauty.
* BabiesEverAfter: [[spoiler:After giving birth to Kazuya, she also gave birth to Ryuuichi's daughter Arcadia, who became a second child that Gengo took away from her.]] Small wonder she doesn't take kindly to having children removed from her.
* BerserkButton: Attempting to separate her from a child she's interacting with is almost as bad as being a Nova in her general vicinity. Attempting to hurt Kazuya will have her respond the same way that Satellizer does, only with ten times more overkill.
* {{BFG}}: Think something that looks like Satellizer's Nova Blood, only three times bigger. Then add the [[WaveMotionGun massive and continuous energy beam]] it can fire from one end.
* BrokenBird: She was never fully emotionally or mentally developed. The traumas she endured at the Aoi household only served to make her worse off.
* BuxomBeautyStandard: Is treated by several other girls as prettier than Satellizer simply because she has bigger breasts. Cassandra herself has made no comment on the matter.
* CantHoldHerLiquor: She passes out from a single glass of wine and is kept unconscious long enough for the Buster Team to attack the party.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Seemingly gets jealous when she saw Kazuya with Satellizer. Subverted later on as her feelings towards Kazuya are maternal rather than romantic.
* DoesNotKnowHerOwnStrength: When pissed off, she doesn't bother to hold back, whether her opponent is human or not.
* FriendToAllChildren: Played with. She clearly loves kids, treats them nicely, and wants one of her own. However, she can become overly possessive of young children, to the point of violence if anyone tries to separate her from a child. Dialogue from Windy May hints that this is related to Kazuya and Kazuha's ParentalAbandonment, which is confirmed when it's revealed that she had to carry Kazuya to term. [[spoiler: She also has a daughter that was taken away by Gengo.]]
* MamaBear: To children in general, but not in a healthy way; she demonstrates such fierce attachment to them that she's nearly killed a mother that tried to take her child back from Cassandra. This is because she was the gestational carrier for Kazuya and nursed him until he was about two years old; their separation was traumatic enough that she relives it whenever someone tries to separate her from a child. [[spoiler: It also doesn't help that her other child was taken from her as well.]]
* MaidenAunt: Kazuya's biological aunt through Maria Lancelot.
* MarshmallowHell: Inflicts one upon Kazuya when she meets him again. He nearly ''suffocates.''
* NavelDeepNeckline: She has a habit of walking around in low-cut outfits, most of which expose both cleavage and midriff.
* NoSocialSkills: She barely talks, and has a very loose grip on her temper if any of her Berserk Buttons are pushed; even pre-CharacterDevelopment Satellizer was better socialized than Cassandra is, which is saying quite a lot.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Despite being Kazuya's aunt, mostly due to the cryogenic freezing.
* OneManArmy: She and Teslad single-handedly annihilate an army of Saurian Nova.
* ParentalSubstitute: The reason why she gives a MarshmallowHell to Kazuya (and tries to get him to breast-feed) when they first meet again is because she took care of him till he was two years old and still thinks of him as a child--more specifically, ''her'' child. This becomes more literal when it's revealed that Kazuya's mother Orie barely survived giving birth to Kazuha and wouldn't have been able to give birth to Kazuya; Gengo transferred Kazuya's embryo to Cassandra so that Kazuya could be properly carried to term, which unfortunately set up a chain of events that completely destroyed the Aoi family.
* RapeAsDrama: [[spoiler:She was raped by a grief-stricken Ryuuichi Aoi in a misguided attempt at retaliation for the tragic events that befell his family after she arrived. This results in the birth of Arcadia Aoi.]]
* ReplacementFlatCharacter: In many ways, she's like Satellizer from the early chapters, an attractive, highly-dangerous blonde who's not good with people and is only interested in remaining close with Kazuya.
* StockingFiller: She wears thigh-high stockings underneath her ankle-length skirt.
* TheStoic: She has a permanently disinterested expression on her face almost all the time; she does wear a very subtle smile when she first hugs Kazuya, though.
* SwordAndSorcerer: She has this sort of dynamic with Teslad when they first arrive on the battlefield. Cassandra shoots stuff with her WaveMotionGun while Teslad uses her blades to kill things that get close. Cassandra even uses energy beam weapons while Teslad uses swords.
* SwordBeam: Can fire these from the other end of her Nova Weapon.
* WaveMotionGun: What appears to be the primary purpose of her volt weapon.

----
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Her volt weapon is a pair of blades strapped to her wrists and point backwards toward her elbows.
* TheComicallySerious: Her facial expression doesn't even change when asking for or eating ice cream. It's hilarious.
* OneManArmy: She and Cassandra single-handedly annihilate an army of saurian Nova.
* PerpetualFrowner: Her expression never deviates from a frown that looks like it's just barely hiding a deep rage. Never.
* SwordAndSorcerer: She has this sort of dynamic with Cassandra when they first arrive on the battlefield. Cassandra shoots stuff with her WaveMotionGun while Teslad uses her blades to kill things that get close. Cassandra even uses energy beam weapons while Teslad uses swords.
* SwordBeam: She can fire a massive one by charging up power in one of her blades.
* TheStoic: To such an extreme that it nearly makes her an EmotionlessGirl, but if one pays attention to what she's looking at and how she's reacting to it, her intentions are occasionally clearer.

----
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: Mild, but she demonstrated the ability to pick apart the composition of alcohol just by smelling it.
* BigDamnHeroes: Her EstablishingCharacterMoment is saving Kazuya and Satellizer from certain death at the hands of the humanoid Nova.
* CombatMedic: Her first ability seen was to just hold her hammer and emit a healing wave. It repaired damage to Kazuya, Satellizer, Rana, Charles, and brought Arnett and Roxanne back from the dead. That last one is especially impressive, as Roxanne had destroyed her entire body from the abdomen up.
* DissonantSerenity: She's so serenely cheerful, one might be forgiven for thinking she doesn't even know she's on a battlefield. She didn't even react when she got hit point blank by an energy blast to the face.
* GenkiGirl: She seems quite energetic, especially compared to her more reserved sisters; she's the closest one to having a normal emotional range, and even then she can still be a little weird every now and then.
* HumongousHeadedHammer: Her volt weapon is a colossal two-handed hammer.
* NoSell: She gets hit point blank by the humanoid Nova, who could devastate normal Pandora with a single attack, and it doesn't even break her smile.
* PerpetualSmiler: She seems eternally cheerful, whether she's happily greeting Kazuya or fighting the humanoid Nova.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Some translations have called her ''Wendy'' May instead.
* TooDumbToLive: Subverted. Her decision to heal her badly wounded--or even dead--allies and ignore the powerful enemy that put them in that condition leaves her wide open, and the humanoid Nova uses the opportunity to hit her with a point-blank energy blast to the face. Windy May turns out to be powerful enough to [[NoSell shrug it off like it was nothing]]. She then answers that attack with a OneHitKill swing of her hammer.

[[folder:Tropes applying to the whole group]]
A group of four Pandora--Isuzu Sawatari, Jessica Edwin, Petty Liner, and Isabella Lucas--who were all expelled from the Chevalier for crimes too outrageous [[EvenEvilHasStandards for the Chevalier to ignore]]. Years later, they are discretely hired by the Chevalier to kill Dr. Gengo Aoi in exchange for immunity from their past crimes, as well as the opportunity to commit more without repercussions.
----
* BarrierWarrior: They all have the ability to emit Freezing fields thanks to their altered Stigmata.
* BoxedCrook: Each of them, save Isuzu, were convicted of crimes severe enough to have them expelled from the Chevalier and all Genetics programs. Petty crippled/killed a rival Pandora and murdered her partner, Jessica killed her parents in an attempt to claim the family inheritance for herself, and Isabella murdered innocent children as a nurse. It's clear from context, though, that Isuzu is as guilty as they are; she just managed to swing it so that [[MakeItLookLikeAnAccident all her murders were done in "self-defense."]]
* CurbStompBattle[=/=]NoSell: They easily defeat the Pandora that they fight against in the storyline, only suffering significant losses from either the Legendary Pandora or from team infighting.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Every single one of them gets taken out, not by West Genetics, but by their very own actions. For Bonus points, their attack on West Genetics ''really'' started going south the moment they used their trump card, "anti-Freezing" and had it react with the Legendary Pandora.
* PsychoForHire: All of them are guilty of murder and have demonstrated no real concern with human lives.

----
* AxCrazy: The moment that Isuzu starts talking about Su-Na Lee, the mask slips a bit and it becomes clear that she really, [[InterplayOfSexAndViolence really]] wanted a crack at her.
* BeneathTheMask: Underneath her mask of friendliness and sanity, she's an utter psycho who admits to wanting to do nothing more than kill people.
* BlackWidow: Many of her former lovers, their partners, or both, have met unfortunate "accidents."
* CurbStompBattle: Gives one to Petty as payback for one that Petty gave to her earlier. The difference is that Petty doesn't live through hers.
* DirtyCoward: Plays this angle to get out of a nasty battle with the Legendary Pandora.
* DissonantSerenity: Murders Pandora without a care in the world crossing her face, let alone her thoughts.
* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: Averted. She planned to rape a struggling Gengo in order to really stick it to Suna. She doesn't get far because the mere promise of it sends Suna into a homicidal rage.
* EvilerThanThou: When the raid on the facility starts going south for the Busters, she makes Petty realize she's a ''far'' worse human being than Petty could ever hope to be before killing her.
* MaskOfSanity: One would think she's a fairly well-adjusted woman when meeting her on the street. She's actually a complete and utter sociopath with no regard for right, wrong, or the sanctity of life, not even her own.
* ReallyGetsAround: She's had at least half a dozen lovers and was even introduced to the audience while having sex.
* SoBeautifulItsACurse: She claims that she can't help that men go nuts for her, and that it's led to nothing but tragedy for her. Both of those statements are lies.
* TheSociopath: Dialogue and her own history both indicate that she doesn't give a shit about anyone that isn't her or Su-Na; she just hides it behind a [[CuteAndPsycho normal exterior.]]
* SoleSurvivor: Played differently. She kills off Petty Liner, Jessica gets her head ripped off by a Nova, and Isabella is "rescued" by Raddox. Isuzu is captured by Suna and taken to a holding cell for questioning.
* StepfordSmiler: She acts like a kind but lonely woman desperately searching for true love. She's anything but.
* UnreliableNarrator: Considering her BlatantLies regarding her history with her deceased lovers and/or their partners, everything out of her mouth is suspect. The one exception to this is her observations about Su-Na, who really is as messed-up as Isuzu says.
* VillainousBreakdown: The realization that she's lost to Su-Na again, this time when she believes that the latter's attachment to Gengo should have weakened her, sends her into a screaming, cursing fit.
* VillainousCrush: Isuzu has an in-universe case of this for Su-Na Lee, the current top-ranked active duty Chevalier in the world. They were rivals in school both in strength and in love, and Isuzu flatly admits that her experiences with Su-Na have prevented her from being satisfied by any of her many lovers.

* AxCrazy: She almost killed another Pandora because she didn't like her. After being punished for that she came back, quite possibly paralyzed the Pandora, and then ''killed'' the Pandora's Limiter right in front of the poor girl.
* BloodKnight: Of the amorally bloodthirsty kind.
* ClusterFBomb: So far, every other word out of her mouth has been a curse.
* CurbStompBattle: Gives one to Isuzu off screen to claim field leadership of the Busters. Isuzu returns the favor later, except that she doesn't bother to leave Petty alive.
* JerkAss: Foul-mouthed, psychopathic, and completely self-absorbed.
* MeaningfulName: Her DisproportionateRetribution against the Pandora that she antagonized most certainly fits the definition of "petty," if not the spirit.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: She thrashes Isuzu in a fight and immediately assumes that Isuzu is way weaker than her. She later pays for this mistake with her life.

-* LightningBruiser: She has access to both Tempest and Accel Turns and can hit hard enough to incapacitate a Pandora in a single strike.
* MakeItLookLikeAnAccident: She crashed her car to kill her parents and survived thanks to her Pandora enhancements.
* OffWithHerHead: A Nova rips her head off.
* PerpetualFrowner: Combined with TsurimeEyes to create a constant DeathGlare.
* SelfMadeOrphan: Caused her parents to die in a car accident over a dispute of her inheritance. She almost got her brother, too.
* TheStoic: Has yet to change her expression from a frown since her introduction.

----
* AnArmAndALeg: Loses ''both'' her arms fighting a Nova corrupted Cassandra.
* AxCrazy: She murdered babies that she was taking care of, and considering the job she had before becoming a Buster, there is a possibility she was still interested in targeting children.
* BattleaxeNurse: Again. Child murderer.
* TheBusCameBack: She retruns to the story in chapter 209, leading the full might of the Chevailer army to "take a dictator off his throne."
* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: Averted when she tries to take Ticy's Limiter Abel by force. No one in-universe finds it remotely sexy, and everyone witnessing it wants nothing more than to kill Isabella for it.
* DirtyCoward: When a Pandora is close to fighting her on equal grounds, she uses one of that pandora's comrades as a HumanShield.
* EyesAlwaysShut
* EvilCounterpart: To an extent, she's this to Chiffon Fairchild. Both project an exterior to hide their violent inner natures and keep their eyes eternally closed. Unlike Chiffon, who ultimately pulls a heroic sacrifice to save her friends, Isabella is an utter psycho.
* FriendToAllChildren: Subverted. When introduced, [[SocialServicesDoesNotExist she was running a daycare]], and the children seemed to be quite happy being around her. Petty Liner implies that this was just a mask to lure in new victims.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: While it's true that the Busters were struggling against the Legendary Pandora, it's only after Isabella used "anti-freezing" that the operation ''really'' started going south for them, as the "anti-freezing" drew the attention of five humanoid nova stronger, and more determined, than anything previously seen.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: After Ticy is defeated, Isabella pins down her limiter Abel before stripping and attempting to rape him. Played for all the horror it should be.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Fled the moment the five humanoid Nova showed up, ''at her summoning'' and let her partner Jessica be corrupted and beheaded.
* TheSociopath: She’s extremely psychotic, sadistic and completely void of empathy, as she shows her history of murdering newborns ''for nothing more than [[ForTheEvulz abhorrently cruel jollies]]'' shows. She’s also very self centred, abandoning her allies to corruption and death [[DirtyCoward should she be put at even the slightest hint of risk.]]
* SoleSurvivor: Of the four Busters who were sent to West Genetics to wreck havoc and kill Gengo Aoi, Petty is killed by Isuzu, Jessica succumbs to Nova corruption and is killed by a Nova ripping her head off, Isuzu is captured by Suna after trying and failing to get past the E-Pandora "failure" Amelia. Leaving Isabella the only one to escape and be "rescued" by Raddox Pantomime. She later returns with a full Chevailer army, fully intending to finish what she and her teammates started.
* SerialKiller: Has killed over a dozen newborns in her former position as a nurse.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Some translations refer to her as "Isabel."
* StepfordSmiler: Appears to be a normal, well-adjusted woman. Is pretty much as psychotic as Isuzu is BeneathTheMask, and does an equally good job of hiding it behind a placid exterior.
* WouldHurtAChild: Again, she's killed more than a dozen ''newborns''.

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/missmarialancelot_5.png]]

The first Pandora, referred to as "The Mother of All Pandora" and the "Holy Corpse," as all Stigmata used by other Pandora and Limiters are actually fragments of her crystallized body. Her body is stored deep within West Genetics' underground chamber, the Ravensborne Nuclecheode, and was the main target of the Nova during the 10th Nova Clash. It is eventually revealed she is a humanoid Nova whose mission was to destroy humanity. However, she sympathized with humans and turned against the Nova, giving Gengo the means to combat them.
----
* CuteMute: She has yet to speak in any of her appearances; she uses some kind of telepathy most of the time.
* TheEmpath: She communicates with Gengo just by sipping his tear drop, showing him something important that she wanted him to know. She apparently does something similar with Scarlett Oohara at Gengo's request.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Her eyes seem to glow and feature odd, elongated pupils. Several particularly strong Pandora have had these eyes as well, which are known as "Type-Maria" eyes.
* HeelFaceTurn: She ended up sympathizing with humanity and turning against her fellow Nova.
* HeroicRROD: Implied to be the reason why her body is being stored under Genetics.
* HumanoidAbomination: She looks like a normal woman until you look closely at her eyes and see her power in battle. It's possibly implied that she's some sort of highly evolved Nova who's sympathetic to humanity. She is eventually confirmed to be the same type of being as the humanoid Novas that begin appearing to attack humanity, Gengo even referring to the first one to arrive as her "successor."
* LukeIAmYourFather: She's Kazuya and Kazuha's biological grandmother through their father Ryuuichi.
* MeaningfulName: On two fronts. Her first name, "Maria," was given by Gengo because she resembled a goddess (possibly meant as Mary). Her last name, "Lancelot," is possibly derived from Gengo first encountering her while rowing on a lake. [[Myth/ArthurianLegend Lancelot]]'s full name was Lancelot "du Lac," or Lancelot "of the Lake."
* NotQuiteDead: Everyone except Gengo thinks it's her corpse being hidden under West Genetics. That's no corpse.
* PhlebotinumRebel: She was once like the transcendent beings who sent her to Earth's dimension to destroy humanity, but through interacting with humans she came to sympathize with them, fell in love with Gengo, and gave humanity the knowledge and resources they needed to fight against the Nova.
* PeopleJars: Her body is kept inside of one.
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: Her descendants have large amounts of Stigmatic tissue and consist of many of the series' strongest characters as a result. Her daughters are known as the Legendary Pandora for being hundreds of times stronger than the average Pandora, her granddaughter carried 20 Stigma, and her grandson has absurdly powerful Freezing [[spoiler:and a SuperEmpowering effect on Pandora]].

----
* AlliterativeName: ''M''arin ''M''axwell.
* HalfTheWomanSheUsedToBe: How she met her end.
* HeroicSacrifice: When faced with a Nova that none of the trainees could handle, she threw herself at it to give the others a chance to escape
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: During a previous Carnival, her left eye was sliced out by Arnett. She reports this to a doctor as if she needs a bandaid for a paper cut.
* PosthumousCharacter: In-story, Marin's fate is explained about two years after she's actually died.

'''Limiter''': Louis]]

The number one-ranked third-year student at Genetics UK, who looks similar in appearance to Satellizer except for her silver hair.
----
* AlphaBitch: She threw water on Satellizer, seeing her as competition for Louis' love that she will never earn.
* BreakTheCutie: Louis really did a number on her after she confessed her love for him.
* BrokenBird: In Louis' flashback, she used to be more lively.
* ClingyJealousGirl[=/=]{{Yandere}}: She throws water in Satellizer's face despite Louis being responsible for what she blamed Satellizer for. During their fight, she acknowledges that her envy toward Satellizer's completely unwanted attention from Louis is irrational, but can't help but want to kill Satellizer anyway. Then, she stabs Louis when he refuses to drop his obsession with his half-sister.
* CompressedAdaptation: Due to season 2 of the anime understandably compressing much of this arc to fit 2 episodes, many things are left out or changed, though Holly is mostly cast in a nicer light. She isn't seen interacting with Satellizer at all until they fight on the cliffside. Though Louis throws her on the bed, it's implied, but not shown if he rapes her out of frustration like in the manga. He also jumps off the cliff on his own in a DespairEventHorizon, rather than being stabbed by her. And instead of Satellizer rushing down to save them, Holly jumps in on her own to save him.
* DoggedNiceGirl: Taken to SerialEscalation levels.
* TheDogBitesBack: In the manga, Louis's treatment of her drove her to attempt to kill them both.
* EmotionlessGirl: Tries to present herself as one, but her issues with Satellizer pretty much make it clear that she's not.
* IfICantHaveYou: [[NotGoodWithRejection Then I'm going to kill ''both of us''.]]
* NoAccountingForTaste[=/=]MasochismTango: Despite her cool facade in front of Satellizer, and the horrific abuse she's put through, her affections for Louis are legitimate.
* NotGoodWithRejection: In standard crazy Pandora fashion, her response to Louis rejecting her is to stab him and drive them both off a cliff.
* ReplacementGoldfish: Louis treats her like one for Satellizer while she's away, which causes Holly a lot of pent-up frustrations.
* {{Revenge}}: She finally snaps and returns all of Louis' abuse with one very well-placed stab.
* StockholmSyndrome: She is a Pandora to Louis under a fair amount of duress and knows full well what kind of asshole he can be. Regardless, she truly loves him and wants the feeling reciprocated on some level.
* TakingYouWithMe: Attempts a murder-suicide with Louis, but fails.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Park Se-Mi]]

A former Pandora responsible for training new Pandora for entry at the Genetics facilities. A hard, cruel, and ruthless woman who makes life a living hell for her trainees, particularly Elizabeth Mably, one of the few with courage enough to stand up to her.
----
* AdultsAreUseless: Averted. When one of her trainees is pinned below sea with bombs set to explode, Park personally saves the day, throwing the girl and Elizabeth to safety before the bombs explode, barely escaping herself.
* ClusterFBomb: How her dialogue is often translated.
* DrillSergeantNasty: To ''insane'' levels. Park does not believe in gentle training or coddling her students. They are terrified of her.
* HiddenDepths: Her first chapter shows her as an outright violent and egomaniac sadist. Her second displays a gentler side to her when she's alone with another officer.
* HiddenHeartOfGold: Shows when she is fully willing to sacrifice herself for her trainees when the chips are down. She also secretly checks their vitals to make certain she isn't crossing into the realm of giving them actual ''damage.'' One of her hardest training exercises is even designed to get easier as it goes for the trainee.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Under her brutal exterior is a woman who genuinely cares for every Pandora that comes into her care. her cruelty is a way to prepare them for the battlefield, as there will be no second chances there and it will be even harsher than any training. Every year, her trainees send her hate-filled letters, the reception of which is implied to be all she lives for--it's proof they're still alive.
* MyGreatestFailure: Her first group of trainees died in battle. Park blames herself for being too soft with them and leaving them unprepared for a real battle.
* NoIndoorVoice: All part of the HiddenHeartOfGold-hiding facade--she only cranks down from a shout when she's getting introspective.
* PhysicalFitnessPunishment: Forces Elizabeth to run 40 laps around a field, carrying a pack with heavy stones on her back. The purpose of the exercise is the stones gradually fall out and the instructor pretends not to take notice. Imagine Park's surprise when Elizabeth completes the laps and ''picks up every stone that falls to put them back in the pack''.
* SadistTeacher: What all her students think of her. She doesn't do much to dissuade the suppositions. She'd rather they fear her and survive than love her and die.
* TrainingFromHell: She gives it out. A lot.

[[quoteright:215:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/su_na_less_1.png]]

The current leader of Platoon 13, and a Pandora of enormous strength and potential. She is the bodyguard and chief lieutenant of Gengo Aoi, whom she harbors romantic feelings for. When Gengo rebels against the Chevalier, Suna is front and center in the revolt, helping Gengo in any way she can.

In her younger days, she was the top third-year in West Genetics as well as in the world. When she graduated and enter active service, it was well known that she was the strongest Pandora in the Chevalier.
----
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: It's made clear that one of the reasons why Su-Na falls for Gengo is because he treated her with respect and kindness during a period of her life when most people talked behind her back.
* BeleagueredAssistant: Some of Gengo's more secretive behavior and antics serve as a major source of frustration for her, but she goes along with it in a resigned sort of way.
* BerserkButton: Touch Gengo and she goes into a psychotic rage.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: According to Isuzu, Su-Na is actually a callous, cold-hearted bitch that never had any interest in having a Limiter. Isuzu claims that when Su-Na's Limiter died, Su-Na actually seemed satisfied/relieved to be free of him. Su-Na later acknowledges this as the truth, admitting that she's not nearly the good role model that she appears to be.
* BodyguardCrush:
** Played straight. Su-Na's official position is bodyguard to Gengo, who considers her a part of his family. However, there are several hints that Su-Na's feelings for the good doctor are not as platonic as is appropriate.
** After being given the choice to either use a untested new weapon to protect Gengo or run, Suna laughs and states she has no intention of running from an enemy who had attempted to harm "the man she loves."
** When a young, female fan of Gengo meets him in person and proceeds to gush over how awesome and handsome he is, Suna makes it clear she isn't happy.
* CoolBigSis: Sort of falls into this role as the Squad 13 leader, though she tends mostly towards "tough, but fair."
* DeclarationOfProtection: After being ambushed by an assassin, Suna reports the situation to base but promises that she will protect Gengo, whatever it takes.
* DullEyesOfUnhappiness: Likely meant to show that she's not as nice as she lets on.
* FlashStep: She mastered Accel Turn less than a year after it was invented and then later learned Illusion Turn, which turned out to literally be teleportation.
* GreenEyedMonster:
** Does not approve when women try to hit on Gengo. Christine Evora learned that the hard way.
** When Gengo meets Tiziana Ferrari for the first time and is genuinely surprised by her "assets," Suna makes sure he knows how she feels, all the way down the street.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Regarding Kazuya's link to the Legendary Pandora; noteworthy because of how shocked she looked when Gengo obliquely hinted at said link.
* NumberTwo: Gengo's second-in-command. He even shares a few of his well kept secrets with her.
* TheSocialDarwinist: Suna's belief is that the perfect Pandora is an emotionless monster that can crush the weak without hesitation. When it is pointed out that her own feelings for Gengo make her unable to be such a killing machine, she agrees wholeheartedly.
* SnowMeansLove: Suna's love for Gengo is solidified when the two promise to become a family, with a gentle snowfall covering the scene.
* TheSociopath: Straight up admits that she is a sociopath to Gengo, and says that she doesn't understand emotions such as grief and sadness.
* StepfordSmiler: Before the Buster Team Attack, Su-Na seemed like a calm, friendly person who'd occasionally intend to give Gengo a WhatTheHellHero when the situation calls for it. Recent events point to this being a mask to hide her sociopathy, albeit a mask that she's slowly adopting as her real persona insofar as her feelings about Gengo are concerned.
* UndyingLoyalty: She fully realizes that he may keep things from her, but is completely loyal to Gengo and his goals.
* WorldsBestWarrior: Scarlett and Isuzu have both addressed Suna as the "Strongest Pandora." Even Gengo, who creates god-weapons on a daily basis, once told Suna that she possesses the potential to "be the best."

[[folder:Dolly Parnell]]

A Pandora in-training who was isolated by the other Pandora due to the 8th Nova Clash where her elder sister was the only survior. She was a terribly shy girl who wanted to restore her family's honor.
----
* HeroicSacrifice: During a flood, the other members of her platoon fled while Dolly and Arnett stayed to stop a mudslide. A second mudslide came towards Dolly and Arnett, and Dolly pushed Arnett out of the way, saving Arnett at the cost of her own life. It's implied her selfless act is what restored her family's honor.
* OnlyFriend: Arnett was the only one who showed her any kindess.
* PosthumousCharacter: Is dead before the main storyline starts. Her only apperance was in the ''Freezing Zero'' prequel manga.
* ShrinkingViolet: A shy girl and a victim of bullying.
* SinsOfTheFather: In this case, sins of the elder sister. Her elder sister Cecil was the only survior of the 8th Nova Clash that clamed the lives of all other Pandoras, but was mentally scarred and had to start using a wheelchair as a result of the trauma. Everyone would later falsely acuse Cecil of abandoning her team to die, leading to the disgrace of her family. What makes it harder for Dolly is that most if not all of the Pandora she trained with had older sisters that also died in the 8th Clas, and made Dolly's life hell as a result.
* TheSoCalledCoward: Always mocked for coming from a family of a "cowardly traitor" and nearly everyone assumed her to be the same. She proved them all wrong by saving her Platoon from a flood at the cost of her life.
* TooGoodForThisSinfulEarth: One of the kindest Pandora seen in the series and one with no hard words for anyone, she dies to save Arnett's life after being scorned for her sister's actions.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Arield Robinson]]

Arield is the daughter of a very rich family. She once had a family member enter the ranks of a Pandora, but she was killed during the 8th Nova Clash, due to one of the Pandora's breaking her position and running from the Nova.
----
* AlphaBitch: One of the worst in the series. She harassed Dolly for revenge because of the death of a family member during the 8th Nova Clash, and when Arnett began showing kindess to Dolly, Arield started to bully her too. It's because of her attitude that Arnett has a low opinon on rich folk.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Was never seen after the prequel manga despite being very much alive. Justified because she's likely too ashamed to face Arnett again and Arnett wouldn't want anything to do with her anymore.
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: She said she didn't want to be associated with a relative of a traitor. She got her wish when Dolly died protecting the platoon, and she now bitterly regrets it.
* MilesGloriosus: She went on about her upper-class pride and how Pandors should look out for one another. When a landslide came and threatened everyone, she ran and left Arnett and Dolly to deal with the landslide alone.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gets a particularly nasty one from Arnett at the funeral:
---> ''"Happy now? The girl you treated like a coward is dead now. You upper class bitches are pure shit... not even a dog would wanna eat that pathetic pride of yours."''
* RejectedApology: She tried to appoligize to Arnett for her behavior during Dolly's funeral, but was coldly turned down.

The head of the Bridget family and Satellizer, Violet and Louis' father. Also one of the head-staff of the Chevalier.
----
* {{Abusive Parent|s}}: His idea of child rearing is leaving them unattended for long periods of time and letting them settle things "on their own," throwing money at them in lieu of affection. He's then shocked that Louis and Stella are so messed up.
* AristocratsAreEvil: He's a major jerkass to say the least. Noelle and Satellizer went through hell because his bright idea of "looking after Noelle" when she was terminally ill was bringing the both of them into the family home, and then outright ignoring them, as his jealous wife and son tore into them.
* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: At the time he had a say in it, he actively opposed Kazuya being partnered with Stella because Kazuya is Japanese. Gengo Aoi flipped this around on him, and agreed on opposing the pair because Stella, as Howard's daughter, was "not worthy of being with his grandson." Gengo actually snarked behind his back when he got offended.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: As one of the head bosses of Chevalier, he does not hesitate to throw his weight around. Stella became a Pandora as a result. While she became a Pandora to escape the hell that is the Satellizer household, [[UriahGambit he agreed just to get rid of her.]]

She was attempting to get him to let it go, but things don't turn out nearly as simple as she would have liked them to.
* BlueBlood: The oldest child of the prominent el Bridget family.
* CoolBigSis: She's the only member of the family that Satellizer gets on exceptionally well with at first, due to her kind and gentle nature.
* HairAntennae: Sports two coming from the back of her hair.
* MarshmallowHell: The first thing she did to Kazuya when she met him at least in the anime.
* StupidGood: Her idea of settling the issue between Louis and Stella was trapping the two of them, and their partners, on an island, in El Bridget territory, with no way for anyone to leave... and was utterly shocked that things went poorly. She's damn lucky nobody died.

----
* AllTakeAndNoGive: Treats women like toys until his eventual HeelFaceTurn.
* AristocratsAreEvil: Initially. Later averted.
* TheAtoner: After the Bali hotel resort arc, he stops being abusive to everyone else, and starts to treat Holly a lot better.
* BadBoss: He has no qualms about treating his Pandora like dirt. After Satellizer and Holly's battle, he immediately tells the latter that he doesn't love her. This mistreatment ends up coming back to haunt him when Holly attempts a murder-suicide.
* BlueBlood: The middle child and oldest son of the prominent el Bridget family.
* BullyingADragon: His treatment of both Satellizer and Holly. Both are fully capable of superhuman feats and like many Pandora, more then a little unhinged. Holly eventually snaps and attempts a murder-suicide because of his treatment of her and his denial of her feelings.
* TheCavalry: He travels with the other Pandora and Limiters to investigate Elizabeth's claims and help the E-Pandora rebellion.
* CrazyJealousGuy: For most of his first appearance, but he calms down once Satellizer fishes him out of the ocean after Holly tries to kill both him and herself.
* DespairEventHorizon: After Satellizer defeats Holly, he starts to suffer a VillainousBSOD. The anime version also has him jumps off the cliff on his own. When Holly jumps in to rescue him, he realizes that she truly loves him.
* DidntSeeThatComing: Louis had no idea that Holly was going to snap at him until after her battle with Satellizer.
* DomesticAbuse: Of his own half-sister and his Pandora, no less. Eventually, neither of them let him get away with it any more, and he nearly dies as a result.
* DrivenToSuicide: Attempted after his VillainousBSOD towards the end of the Bali hotel resort arc, but it doesn't work and he has to be rescued by Holly.
* EasilyForgiven: His treatment of Satellizer doesn't stop her from saving his life and actually forgiving him for what he's done.
* FatalFlaw: His abuse of Satellizer and Holly causes him to suffer a VillainousBSOD, especially when Holly snaps.
* HeelRealization: In the anime, he eventually accepts that Satellizer doesn't need him, declares his existence "sinful", and throws himself off the cliff as opposed to being shoved off by Holly. It's Holly herself who ends up saving him when she was the one responsible in the manga.
* HeManWomanHater: He treats both Holly and Satellizer like trash, assaulting and/or abusing them both while claiming that they're his possessions.
* HypocriticalHeartwarming: When he was younger, he got mad at some of his classmates for insulting Satellizer, saying he's the only one allowed to do that.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While he starts off as a {{jerkass}}, Louis ultimately gets better after his first appearance, which drops a heavy dose of BreakTheHaughty on him.
* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: After several years of getting away with abusing Holly and Satellizer, he finally gets what's coming to him when Holly snaps at the end of the Bali hotel resort arc. It's only through pure luck that he doesn't die in the process.
* LaserGuidedKarma: His cruel behavior towards his sister and Holly results in the latter snapping at him and attacking him. [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone And he has no one to blame but himself]].
* LoveRedeems: Thanks to Holly.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Once Satellizer's battle with Holly is over, Louis realizes that he's a bad person and a bad brother to Satellizer, resulting in his attempted suicide.
* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Racist towards Kazuya as a non-white involved with his blue blood half-sister.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: He raped Holly to sate his frustrations over being unable to do the same to Satellizer.
* UnwittingPawn: He's willing to use girls as pawns in his plans.
* WouldHitAGirl: Amongst other things.
* VillainBall: Telling an emotionally-unstable Holly--a woman with superpowers and a clear lack of emotional balance--that he doesn't care about her.
* VillainousBSOD: He falls into a brief one when Holly loses it during her battle with Satellizer.
* VillainousCrush: When he first met Satellizer, he resented her because she was a HeroicBastard who he didn't accept as a family member. Initially, he molested her to vent his hatred and his desire for her to know her place. Somewhere down the line it mutated into a case of hatred crossed with lust.
* VillainousIncest: He molested Satellizer repeatedly when they were children. Even though they've never had intercourse, his intense and very disturbing fixation on her is a clear invocation of the trope.

----
* LastRequest: Tells Satellizer to never bow her head or allow herself to lose to anyone again. It has far more serious consequences than she intends, as from then on Satellizer becomes psychologically unable to give up even when she's moments away from death.
* MissingMom: To Satellizer, though it's pretty clear why.
* PosthumousCharacter: Her influence on Satellizer's behavior is revealed through flashbacks, where it's shown that she told Satellizer to just bear with Louis' molestation and abuse. Only when she's on her deathbed does Noelle realize how much Satellizer has suffered, leading to the LastRequest described above.
* SoapOperaDisease: Whatever was wrong with her left her bedridden, unable to help Satella in any way, and ultimately proved fatal despite the Bridget family fortune and influence being used to its utmost in her care.

The most powerful Pandora of the 8th Nova Clash, the creator of the High End Skills, and Kazuya's older sister. She is said to have sacrificed herself at the Nova Clash to save her friends. Kazuha was special as much of her body was composed of Stigmata tissue, which allowed 20 Stigmata to be inserted into her body, but she was consumed by them and was in the process of turning into a Nova Form before her death. Because of this, the higher-ups started limiting the number of Stigmata a Pandora can have. Six of her Stigmata (known as the "Heroic Stigmata" according to Louis) have been inherited by Satellizer, three by Cathy, two by Charles, two by Julia, and one by Roxanne.
----
* BelatedLoveEpiphany: The only time Kazuha recognized Orie as her mother was when Orie's spirit approached her after death, telling her not to blame herself for Orie's death and to take care of both herself and Kazuya. She broke down crying and called for her "[[IWantMyMommy Mommy]]" shortly afterward.
* {{BFS}}: Her Volt Weapon.
* BigSisterInstinct: She, as a child, comes to her brother's aid, twice when he was a baby. First, when he refused to eat either formula or Orie's breast milk, and second when Orie, who was completely unhinged by that point, tried to smother him with a pillow in his crib.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: As a child, she didn't understand human feelings and acted purely out of instinct, leading to her not fully comprehending why others did the things they did. She grows out of this as she interacts with people more often and takes on the burden of supporting Kazuya.
* BrutalHonesty: From when she was a child, she always spoke her mind. It got her into a fair share of trouble, especially when she started going to school.
* ChekhovsGunman: At first, she's simply introduced as Kazuya's older sister and a famous, albeit deceased, Pandora. However, it soon turns out that she is far more involved in the story's events than it seems, even after she's died: she invented all the High End Skills ''herself'' as a child [[ChekhovsArmory and her stigmata are also exceptionally strong, to the point that most of the top 5 Pandora have at least one of them]]; even Satellizer's pathetic synchronization rate with them is partially offset by how damn strong they are.
* CoolBigSis: Kazuya's, naturally.
* CranialEruption: Gets two from Yu-Mi, once as a result of the CrashIntoHello below, and the second was [[PervertRevengeMode done intentionally]] when she tries groping her.
* CrashIntoHello: How she met [[FunbagAirbag Yu-Mi]] and Elise.
* CreepyChild: Her own mother Orie thought as much, and blames Kazuha's behavior on Gengo's influence. Granted, five year-old children are NOT supposed to casually leap 20 feet into the air and be as detached as she was either. This turns out to be a major problem later, as it estranges the two of them badly and indirectly leads to Orie's death.
* CuteBruiser: Pretty cute, but in battle she was more of a monster than even Chiffon.
* DoomedByCanon: She's the main character of the first arc of the prequel ''Freezing: Zero'', and Kazuya mentions her sacrifice fairly early on in ''Freezing'' proper.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Her grandmother is Maria Lancelot, the Mother of All Pandora.
* HeroicSacrifice: We're not sure what exactly happened, but by all accounts she ''did'' sacrifice herself to stop the most recent Nova Clash at the time, and it's implied she was [[HeroicRROD going beyond her limits]] to do so.
* HumanityIsInfectious: She was incredibly detached because of her connection to the Transcendent Will, so she couldn't understand others who weren't like her. Having to take care of Kazuya actually gave her emotions, and she learned to appreciate humanity.
* ISeeDeadPeople: She could see Orie's soul as she died and afterwards claimed she could still sense it to her father.
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: She rationalizes [[spoiler:killing her mother, Orie, to her father like this. Because Orie had no further purpose to the Transcendent Will, while Kazuya and Kazuha both did, Kazuha felt the need to keep their physical bodies safe. It wasn't personal to Kazuha, and she could still feel Orie's soul, so she didn't see the harm in getting rid of Orie's physical body]].
* InstantExpert: She's the one who created the High-End Skills. The first one she created was the Accel Turn. While in mid battle--''after'' watching a Nova do it.
* IWantMyMommy: After realizing what she did to Orie, she began crying out for her.
* MarshmallowHell: To a young Kazuya.
* MySignificanceSenseIsTingling: She can sense others like her, which is how she was aware when he father arrived at the laboratory and when Kazuya was in trouble.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: She acts fairly airheaded, but is pretty on-the-ball in combat situations. Her childhood behavior also indicates that it took her some time to really develop a sense of empathy for anyone.
* PosthumousCharacter: Most of what the audience knows about her comes from ''Freezing: Zero'' (which began publication after her death) or from flashbacks in ''Freezing''.
* PromotionToParent:
** For the period of time between Cassandra's return to hibernation and the end of the 8th Nova Clash, Kazuha took primary care of Kazuya. [[{{Matricide}} Kazuha was forced to kill their mother Orie to save Kazuya's life]], and their father Ryuuichi committed suicide not too long after that.
** Played with in that it seemed more like the young Kazuya was taking care of ''her''. When Yumi and Elise came over to visit and apologize, he asked if they were the ones who gave her the bruise on her cheek and gave such a glare that even Yumi was taken back.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: Despite ranking poorly in the Carnival, she snatches a position in the Numbers away from the actual winner thanks to Gengo. She receives a slap from Yu-Mi when she callously justifies this by saying "that's just how the world works".
* TheTease: She did this all the time to Kazuya.
* WorldsBestWarrior: She is said to be the strongest Pandora to ever live. Course that is excluding Legendary Pandora (which were kept secret).

Kazuha and Kazuya's grandfather, a leading authority on the Nova, and the scientist that developed the Pandora and Valkyrie Projects. As seen in ''Freezing: Zero'', he has been working on both the Pandora system and the Valkyries for over 30 years.
----
* TheAlcoholic: Appears to be an extremely successful example of a functioning alcoholic.
* BrokenAce: Gengo is considered the highest authority and greatest expert in the world on matters of Pandora and the Nova, but his personal life is a shambles full of misery: the woman he loves is alive but out of his reach, and he has lost his son, his daughter-in-law, one of his "daughters", and one of his grandchildren because of the Pandora system that he created. On top of that, one of his other "daughters" was sexually assaulted due to his actions, and his grandson, the last link he has to his own son, completely despises him. This doesn't even account for the countless manipulations and schemes he's pulled off and the people he's hurt in the process, including (if indirectly) Scarlett Ohara and most of the Pandora that have died on duty. While Gengo knows that everything he does will have horrible consequences for everyone--himself included--he feels that the future of mankind must be secured, no matter what.
* CategoryTraitor: Chevalier openly convicts him of treason and inciting rebellion, in absentia, in chapter 201, sentencing him to death, at all costs. His crime? [[InsaneTrollLogic Having the insolence to actually survive the Busters' completely unprovoked attack.]]
* TheChessmaster: Often manipulates people into doing exactly what he wants them to, even more often without their knowledge.
* ChickMagnet: See SilverFox below. Su-Na has a BodyGuardCrush on him, and he also attracts at least some romantic interest from Scarlett Oohara, Christine Barnett, and Tiziana Caldani.
* CoolOldGuy: He acts as such when he meets Satellizer, though Kazuya denies that this is Gengo's true personality.
* TheCorrupter: To Kazuya. Every time Kazuya and Gengo meet, Kazuya becomes a worse person.
* DidntSeeThatComing: He didn't expect the Busters to have Plasma Stigmas or have Anti-Freezing.
* DirtyOldMan: He is unabashed in his admiration of young girls with large breasts, specifically making somewhat lewd comments about Satellizer and Tiziana on separate occasions. Although, in those cases he may have been doing it [[{{Troll}} just to piss off]] Kazuya and Su-Na, respectively.
* DrowningMySorrows: Considering all the crap he's gone through over the span of decades, it's no surprise he hits the sauce frequently.
* HeWhoFightsMonsters: His reasons for being wary of turning every normal citizen into a warrior to kill the Nova, even if it means taking the long way in terms of making Pandora that can fight the Nova.
* HiddenHeartOfGold: Although Gengo comes off as aloof and uncaring in most personal matters (to the point that a sociopath like Suna mistook Gengo as being just like her), it is revealed that most of his mannerisms are simply an act in order to deceive his enemies. Deep down, Gengo is haunted by the deaths of Kazuha and Ryuuichi, and is extremely concerned for the future of mankind. He is also capable of compassion, seen when he offered to become "family" to a lonely and depressed Suna.
** Owing to his acting skills, Isuzu and Scarlett make a surprised note of how much Gengo cares for Suna when he drops the act in a moment of emotion. Scarlett takes it a step further and cheekily wonders if Gengo is showing a little too much [[MayDecemberRomance concern]] for his young bodyguard.
* InsaneTrollLogic: How does he justify his YouCantFightFate stance towards his son, Ryuuchi, and his grandson, Kazuya? By saying Fate doesn't exist, and humanity has to grasp any chance of survival, no matter how small.
* IWantGrandkids: Great-grandkids to be precise. He needs more test subjects, of course.
* JerkassHasAPoint: He's mostly seen as a jerk to Dr. Oohara when he refuses to approve the E-Pandora project. However, he explains himself by stating that the current protocol for producing Pandora is costly but effective in terms of the quality of Pandora produced, and that it should not be the responsibility of the civilians they are trying to protect to take up the burden of becoming Pandora.
** Goes double when he insists that Chevalier are all just a bunch of fools who prioritize short-term profit over long-term sustainability, and that's why he hasn't told them that it's theoretically impossible for the Nova's home dimension and humanity's to co-exist.
* TheKirk: Although Gengo often speaks and acts based on logic (his personal motto is to ignore what people tell him and look only at the reality of the situation itself), he cheerfully admits how important emotions and acting on one's feelings are to humanity.
* LivingEmotionalCrutch: To Su-Na Lee, when it is revealed that he's the only person to accept her despite her mental state.
* ManipulativeBastard: He seemingly has many plots within plots within plots going on within the story:
** He specifically denies ordering Ouka to marry Kazuya, claiming Kazuya's "indecisiveness" is the reason for Ouka's obsession. (Despite Kazuya being anything BUT indecisive in regards to Stella.)
** He states (just after Kazuya and Satellizer leave his house) "So they have gotten a step closer... Everything is going as planned."
** The joint Valkyrie/Pandora training exercise, which was meant to bring him down, is instead used as a tool to bring Seiga Heavy Industries under his heel.
** Bringing in Scarlett Oohara to create the Legendary Stigmata seems to be a part of some bigger scheme he's got going on.
* MrExposition: Sometimes to a painful degree. When one arc focused on the bad guys attempting to kill Gengo, many fans asked "But who would explain the plot?"
* TakeOverTheWorld: Pointedly subverted. Multiple characters have noted that Gengo has, for years, possessed enough power and influence to completely conquer the world if he wanted to. Logically, the fact that he hasn't means his goals are more altruistic than they sometimes appear, a point argued by one of his supporters to a more reserved colleague.
* TheNeedsOfTheMany: It's implied that Gengo's whole plan is to have a small, but powerful group of fighters defend the majority of humanity from the Nova, at the cost of their own happiness and lives. This would explain his distaste for the E-Pandora Project, which sought to make soldiers out of civilians.
* ThePatriarch: He rules over his family. As his grandchild Ouka states, "His word is law."
* PerpetualSmiler: Although not as often as his daughter, Gengo is rarely seen without a smirk on his face.
* RebelLeader: Fitting since he's the one who started the current rebellion.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: His position as fighting against the E-Pandora project--and being put in charge when said project not only fails but creates two Novas--shows he is one such person, at least to a degree. Additionally, despite his reputation, he at least makes an attempt to be approachable, though when people try to interfere with his plans, he either accounts for them or makes their meddling a non-issue.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Delivers a much needed one to Sawatari Isuzu when the latter begins beating on a defenseless Suna.
* SanitySlippage: As the story progresses, his plans and machinations get more and more desperate and incomprehensible, even to himself.
* ShipperOnDeck: He supports Kazuya and Satellizer's partnership. He invited them over to see what type of woman she was and he ended up liking her quite a bit, possibly because she reminds him of her mother--her biological mother, more specifically.
* SilverFox: Seems to be seen as one in universe, if his several significantly younger admirers are anything to go by. According to Valkyrie Christine Evora, Gengo has a "rugged" handsomeness despite his age.
* TheStrategist: Being one of the few important non-powered characters in the series, Gengo must rely on strategy and cunning to defeat his opponents.
* TheyJustDontGetIt: He ''wants'' Satella and Kazuya to get together, and crank out children. He continually gives Kazuya his blessing. He is then shocked that Kazuya is enraged, lashes out, and goes the opposite direction. Perhaps if he heeded the advice he gave Marks Spencer and treated Kazuya's "grandmother," and Kazuya himself, with a bit more civility before the story began, he wouldn't have this problem. Waiting until Kazuya is forced to work under him at West Genetics, and then pretending like they've always been a happy, loving family just isn't cutting it.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Maria Lancelot, which causes even more of a rift between him and Kazuya when he tells Kazuya that the only woman he has ever loved was Maria, citing barely any attachment to the woman Kazuya thought was his grandmother. Gengo even tells Dr. Oohara that Maria being alive is the only reason why he can't reciprocate Dr. Oohara's feelings for him--and that he would be happy to otherwise.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Questionable methods, to be sure, but Gengo does have humanity's best interests at heart. He acknowledges that he's making the decisions for the entirety of mankind to survive the Transcendent Will and Transcendent Beings. Currently, he's betting everything on his plans to use Kazuya's Stigmatic Body as a tool to make humanity accept evolution. He doesn't want to do it, but it's the only way forward that he knows of, likely derived from what Maria showed him of the future.

* CallingTheOldManOut: For being used by Gengo for the Pandora Plan.
* DespairEventHorizon: Orie's death breaks him badly, and he never recovers from it.
* DrivenToSuicide: In front of Kazuha, after [[spoiler:raping Cassandra.]]
* DrowningMySorrows: He hit the bottles hard after Orie's death.
* HalfHumanHybrid: On his mother's side.
* HappilyMarried: To Orie. It was when they tried to have children when it all went wrong.
* HotTeacher: He was a lecturer at a university.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: He never wanted to inherit the fate of Maria's chosen one, and loved Orie with all his heart, desperately trying to fight the destiny Gengo laid out for him. It doesn't work out.
* RapeLeadsToInsanity: [[spoiler: inverted, he goes further insane after raping Cassandra which leads to his suicide.]]
* YouCantFightFate: His father tells him that his role in the future as the leader of all Pandora pretty much ensured that his marriage to a normal human was destined to fail. He decides one final time to ScrewDestiny and spite his father via suicide.

----
* DespairEventHorizon: When Cassandra could breast-feed Kazuya and Orie couldn't even ''hold'' him, it threw Orie well over the point of no return.
* GreenEyedMonster: She becomes intensely jealous of Cassandra for having more of a connection with Kazuya and Kazuha than she did, to the point that as a child Kazuya instinctively thought of Cassandra as his mother instead of her, and Kazuha cared more about Cassandra than her.
* HappilyMarried: To Ryuuichi. It was when they tried to have children when it all went wrong.
* HopeSpot: Things do seem to go well for the Aois, and especially Orie, after she gets pregnant with Kazuya. She and Kazuha become much closer, and she even seems to make peace with Cassandra. Naturally, it all goes to hell after Kazuya is transferred to Cassandra's uterus when the strain of the pregnancy nearly kills Orie.
* IJustWantToBeLoved: All she wanted was to be loved by her children. Because Kazuha was so detached (to the extent of calling her "Lady"), Orie wanted a second child just so that it would reciprocate her love, despite the first birth nearly ''killing'' her. Being forced to use Cassandra as a surrogate for her son to survive, followed by his unintentional rejection when she tried to hold him, eventually caused her to have a mental breakdown.
* LoveHurts: Her relationship with her husband ultimately destroyed her despite the two of them loving one another as deeply as two people could.
* TheMentallyDisturbed: It's made clear by her violent reaction to Kazuya crying in her arms that she's broken under the constant depression of being unaccepted by her own children.
* OffingTheOffspring: Orie attempts to smother Kazuya in his crib while having a mental breakdown, believing that she had to "start over" and try again to have a child that would love her. Kazuha ultimately kills her to protect Kazuya.
* TakeCareOfTheKids: Her last request was for Kazuha to take care of her brother.
* TragicDream: All she wanted was to be a family with her husband and children, but ultimately they never recognized her as their family until after she died.

----
* AmbiguouslyBrown: Her skin tone is much darker than it should be.
* BadassAdorable: Her debut has her going up against two Legendary Pandora while looking like a child.
* BigBrotherWorship: To Kazuya Aoi.
* BreastExpansion: As a result of her OvernightAgeUp, much to her confusion.
* ChildByRape: Courtesy of her father raping her mother.
* EleventhHourRanger: She gets deployed into battle at the very end of the 13th Nova Clash.
* {{Flight}}: Either that or she can jump tall buildings in a single bound. She traveled up the elevator chute at least 5 stories before landing square in the battle.
* KillerYoyo: She's got two as part of her Volt Weapon, and they float near her acting on a semi-independent basis.
* NakedFirstImpression: Comes out of stasis completely nude. Doesn't last as she summons a dress from Volt Texture.
* NoSocialSkills: No surprise. Tends to be the result of being in a jar from infancy.
* OvernightAgeUp: She takes on an older form by utilizing her PowerParasite abilities to absorb Soul Power from other Pandora or Nova.
* PeopleJars: Gengo Aoi put her in one.
* PerpetualFrowner: Frowning is the only facial expression she shows.
* PowerFist: Her Chiffon-like wolverine claws can launch from her arms to attack at range.

A rival to Gengo Aoi who feels humans should take whatever means necessary in order to fight back against the Nova and their incursions into the human world. To that end, she pushes the E-Pandora project as much as she can, but as it turns out, she was only using it to buy time for her Type-Maria project, which involves cloning the body of Maria Lancelot. Unfortunately, the Type-Maria clones go wild when Amelia Evans hits the DespairEventHorizon, and Dr. Oohara is trapped in the collapsing laboratory, suffering severe injuries.

The events of the E-Pandora arc ultimately leave her disabled from the waist down and even more embittered than before, but she is eventually recruited by Gengo Aoi to help create the "Legendary Stigmata."
----
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Has this kind of relationship with Gengo; she admires him both professionally and romantically, but hates how she could never beat him at anything or catch his attention in either field.
* FoeRomanticSubtext: A bit one sided, but Gengo explicitly calls out Dr. Oohara's desire to show him up with him as (partially) masking or displaying a sincere desire for his affection and attention. She doesn't deny it, and in fact admits that she lost "as a woman" to Maria Lancelot.
* IdiotBall: Combined with BecomingTheMask. She's been playing her [[HiddenHeartOfGold facade]] before the E-Pandora for so long that she defaults to insulting and demeaning them whenever she's in their presence. As such, while it may have been unavoidable to admit that the E-Pandora project was nothing but a pretense to buy time for her real project, the Type-Maria clones, smugly talking down to a ''very desperate and distraught'' Amelia who was hyped up on the Mark IV drug, and proclaiming that anyone other than herself is simply too uneducated or ignorant to understand her crimes and motivations was certainly not the best of ideas. Now she's going to have to live being the one talked down to for the rest of her life, by the very person she dismissed as worthless, who has insisted on making her life as long as possible.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Dr. Oohara is driven to see her projects succeed no matter what, and can be exceptionally rude or cruel in support of that goal, adopting a WeHaveReserves attitude towards the E-Pandora. However, after Gina's impromptu funeral pyre, she is clearly distressed, and actually wrecks her office in a fit of enraged angst. She continues to show sincere regret for what the E-Pandora went through when she's reintroduced.
* JustThinkOfThePotential: Her excuse as she explains to Amelia the E-Pandora project was just a facade to buy time for the Type-Maria project.
* MadScientist: Shows shades of this when she's explaining the purpose of the Type-Maria project.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Although she doesn't say it out loud, she definitely has this look when she sees Amelia fuse with the type-maria clones and go Nova.
* RedemptionEqualsAffliction: As a result of her wicked ways, Scarlett has to use a wheelchair for the rest of her life, in the care of the one person in the world who rightfully hates her most, and wants to make sure she lives as long as possible, just to [[CruelMercy watch her suffer.]] Although bitter at first, Scarlett eventually accepts her lot in life when Gengo recruits her for his organization and the two reconcile their friendship.
* TheResenter: Toward Gengo, though it's more complicated than it looks.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: She puts the E-Pandora through hell for the sake of the Type-Maria project, and even though it emotionally destroys her to see them suffer, she remained convinced that it was for the good of humanity. Her conviction wanes after the events of the E-Pandora arc.

----
* CorruptPolitician: He allowed the entire E-Pandora project to exist, and did quite a few things to keep its true nature hidden from the public.
* FreudianExcuse: The love of his life was a Pandora who lost her life in battle. Since her death, he's been willing to do anything to let humanity defeat the Novas and ensure her sacrifice was not in vain.
* HeWhoFightsMonsters: In the beginning, he entered politics to ensure the powerful and corrupt will never use and manipulate the weak for their own personal gain. By the time of ''Freezing'', he's become just as bad as the politicians he once despised.
* HiddenHeartOfGold: Not that it makes his crimes any less heinous, but he doesn't enjoy doing any of it. When it comes to Charles and her safety, he displays a much softer side; for all his willingness to go to extremes, he still doesn't want to see her hurt.
* {{Hypocrite}}: For all his talk about TheNeedsOfTheMany, and how everybody should be prepared to sacrifice ''everything'' for the good of mankind, he was reluctant to let his daughter become a Pandora because he didn't want to lose her, even with her 75% compatibility rate with the Heroic Stigmata.
* {{Jerkass}}: Marks Spencer is not a kind man. For one thing, he doesn't care about the feelings of Pandora and just sees them as weapons whose only purpose is to fight and to die for the sake of humanity. He's willing to torture, blackmail, and falsely incriminate anyone who threatens his plans, and though he truly does have humanity's best interests at heart, he has no idea where the line between NecessarilyEvil and [[KickTheDog needless cruelty]] is.
* LeaveNoWitnesses: His basic approach to the Alaska Arc fiasco. Not only did it fail to have the intended result, it left the E-Pandora, with nothing left to lose, to fuse with their murdered compatriots (and in the case of Amelia, type-Maria clones) into several simultaneous all-new nova bent on killing EVERYBODY.
* MoralityPet: Charles Bonaparte, his adopted daughter.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: He finally realizes how badly he's messed up when Gengo tells him Amelia likely wouldn't have turned into a Nova if he'd handled the E-Pandora project with more civility. The ThousandYardStare on Spencer's face after the fact speaks volumes about just how bad his screw-up was.
* SilentScapegoat: He takes complete responsibility for all of the Chevalier's involvement in the E-Pandora project after he realizes he's gone too far. The rest of the Chevalier get off scot-free, while his career goes up in flames.
* TautologicalTemplar: Prior to the Alaska Arc, he convinces himself and his adopted daughter, Charles Bonaparte, that he is a good man; therefore, ''everything'' he does is inherently good, even if that includes three solid days of ColdBloodedTorture, [[LeaveNoWitnesses murdering test subjects of a propaganda-driven experiment that was doomed to failure]], and destroying the good name of the Mably family. He only realizes how wrong he is once Amelia becomes a Nova and Gengo points out that everything is Spencer's fault. To make everything worse, he goes and takes all the blame after the fact, leaving his accomplices in Chevalier to plot, scheme and retaliate.
* TheyKnowTooMuch: One of his many KickTheDog moments was when he ordered all the existing E-Pandora killed after the failure of the MARK IV drug, as they--and everything they knew--were evidence that could be used against the Chevalier if anybody managed to get a hold of them.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He wants to protect humanity and the weak who can't defend themselves, even if means doing horrible things to the people he wants to protect.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Raddox Pantomime]]

The former top military commander at Chevalier. He was not happy when he was "let go" as a result of the fiasco known as the Alaska Arc. He is directly responsible for the "Busters" project, possibly the Sega Heavy Industries artificial Nova "malfunction," and is absolutely convinced that Gengo Aoi, not the Nova, is the greatest threat humanity has ever, or will ever know and will stop at nothing to see Gengo dead, regardless of the cost, even if the Nova wind up winning the war in the process.
----
* AndThenWhat: Gengo points out in chapter 202 that even ''when'' Raddox and Chevailer manage to kill him, take his research and the Pandora to use as their own personal weapons, they're not going to come anywhere near to being able to eliminate the Nova threat or be the grand-standing "heroes" they champion themselves to be, and by the time they realize it, it will be too late for them to do anything about it.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: Even before his disgrace as a result of the Alaska Arc, he was stealing research, equipment and funds from Chevalier for his own personal use. [[{{Blackmail}} Chevalier knew it, and let him so they could use it as leverage against him later.]]
* EvilIsPetty: He orders the entire might of East Genetics and the full conventional military of the world to launch an all-out attack on West Genetics, when the chances, even with all that, are 50%, expecting massive casualties on all sides, just so he can say he's "the superior researcher" in his own mind, by killing Gengo and stealing his research, then trying to pass it off as his own.
* EvilLaughter: Combined with EvilGloating. [[spoiler: After being informed by Atsuko that the Legendary Pandora are out of action,]] he starts laughing uncontrollably, and boasting of his intent to attack Gengo and West Genetics, again.
* GeneralRipper: He will do '''anything''' to kill Gengo, including the recruitment of four completely murderous psychopaths for use with his very experimental plasma and "anti-freezing" technology. Technology even he admits has far too many unknowns to be anywhere near ready for proper use. For bonus points, he's officially been promoted to a General after the Busters Arc.
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: This is how he sees his actions in the Busters Arc. It is doubtful any of the Pandora at West Genetics would agree with that sentiment.
* AMillionIsAStatistic: He admits to one of the "Failure List" that he only sees human lives as numbers on a chart.
* MoralMyopia: He recruits four extremely dangerous and unstable psychopaths, who are all guilty of murder, at least one is a SerialKiller, that he knows he can't control, equips them with powerful weapons tech that even he, the inventor, does not fully comprehend, gives them a license to kill, lets them loose on a Pandora base, to indiscriminately slaughter the very Pandora and Limiters he and Chevalier as a whole need to protect humanity from the ever growing Nova threat, and he has the nerve to call GENGO "dangerous."
* TheRival: Entirely one sided, to Gengo Aoi. Gengo thinks he's merely a deluded fool. [[JerkassHasAPoint And Gengo's right.]]
* SmokingIsCool: Is rarely seen without a big, fat cigar in his mouth.
* SuicidalOverconfidence: He completely overlooks or is completely unaware of what happened the last time his highly touted "plasma" stigma system went up against the Nova. While he is initially surprised at the arrival of an ''army'' of Nova as he's preparing his invasion and assault of West Genetics, he quickly becomes dismissive of the Nova's presence, preparing to launch the attack anyway, until said Nova land on the aircraft carrier he's on, ''specifically target his Pandora, armed with the "Plasma" stigma system'', and start tearing through them like they're wet tissue paper.
* SunkCostFallacy: He, and the predominant rulers of Chevalier, insist that the best way to deal with a failure or set-back is to double-down on their method and approach, utterly refusing to consider new methods, goals, or directives, until there's nothing left to send in, they're dead, or some outside power forces them to stop. This is all because, no matter how big the cost, what they've already invested will go to waste in their minds, if they have to stop for any reason.
* WeHaveReserves: Looks at the Pandora as a whole this way. Despite the fact that Chevalier has repeatedly proclaimed there are simply not enough Pandora to handle the ever increasing Nova frequency and severity, Raddox thinks nothing of wiping them all out, as long as he can kill Gengo in the process.
* WrongAssumption: He leaves his entire fleet vulnerable by ordering them to stand down when an army of Nova show up, thinking he's conserving power, and that the Nova would attack Gengo first. He completely failed to realize the Nova's true nature as WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds looking for somebody to vent their rage upon...

!Elca Dimension
!!Citizens of Elca
People introduced during Kazuya's visit to the Nova's home dimension.

[[folder:Louis Alexander Eluka]]
[[quoteright:227:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/resizeimagenet_output_1.png]]

The first native of the Nova home dimension encountered by Kazyua.
----
* ApologeticAttacker: She apologizes to the nova she attacks, and for attacking Kazuya when she thought he was undergoing the corruption into a Nova.
* CallASmeerpARabbit: She calls Nova "the Order."
* GoodCounterpart: She's the alternate version of Louis Bridget, and unlike the Earth version, she's an inherently good and kind individual.
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: Raised in a world where men are rare, locked away in a "Holy City," and valued only for the purpose of GlorifiedSpermDonor, she truly does not understand why Kazuya would be uncomfortable when she changes clothes or undresses in front of him.
* LanguageBarrier: She and Kazuya can't understand each other, at all. The only method of communication available is Kazuya's Freezing, but [[PowerIncontinence it's not something he can do on a regular basis.]]
* NakedFirstImpression: Combined with BathingBeauty. She's introduced bathing in a river, and she met Kazuya because he was floating downstream.
* WanderingTheEarth: She's introduced wandering the countryside, and later conversations show that she's been away from the family home for months, only returning because she was seeking advice on what to do with Kazuya.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Satellizer Alexander Eluka]]
The first daughter and heir to the Alexander Family. She is renowned warrior and alternate version of Satellizer el Bridget.
----
* CallingTheOldManOut: In chapter 212, she gloriously calls out her FantasyForbiddingMother, for offering her up as a sacrifice to Ibaniel for her own ends. The woman has a breakdown in response.
* CantGetAwayWithNothing: Just like her Earth counterpart, whenever something goes wrong, she's always the primary suspect.
* DoesNotLikeMen: She responds to Kazuya embracing her by slamming him to the ground and warns her younger sister, Louis, that men are dangerous and will "devour her heart" if she lets them.
* TheFirstCutIsTheDeepest: Her warning to Louis that men "will devour your heart" would imply that she's been betrayed by a lover before.
* FusionDance: [[spoiler:When Satellizer El Bridget crosses the dimensions, she jumps into Satellizer Ecla's body.]] The two personalities "take turns."
* IdenticalStranger: For bonus points, she doesn't just look like Satellizer El Bridget, she has the same first name.
* {{Misblamed}}: Although Louis is the one who brought Kazuya to the Ecla family home, without warning or fanfare, Satellizer is the one who winds up being yelled at. It doesn't even matter that Louis did it for purely humanitarian reasons.
* TheNeedsOfTheMany: Exactly like her Earth counterpart, she is expected to prioritize the needs of her family's position and people over her own. Unlike her Earth counterpart, she doesn't have a [[MoralityChain Kazuya]] to help her through it.
* RapeAsBackstory: Kazuya sees a memory of her being pinned down, and sexually assaulted by the Nova alternate version of Gengo while using his "freezing" to try and save her life when their "Round," ie the Nova dimension's version of a "carnival" goes wrong, by design.
* ThisMeansWar: While she has suffered a great many depradations under Ibaniel, finding out his plans for Kazuya, to whom she owes her life, and how he intends to make her his SexSlave prompts her to declare war.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Noel Alexander Eluka]]
Satellizer's mother, and Louis's aunt.
-----
* AbominationAccusationAttack: Upon learning that Kazuya was in the Ecla family home, she immediately accuses Satellizer of trying to monopolize him, even though Louis brought him there without warning, and then loudly "reminds" Satellizer of the consequences if word gets out.
* EvilCounterpart: While "evil" may be a bit much, she is clearly far more antagonistic than her Earth counterpart.
* FantasyForbiddingMother: On every one of her appearances, she is making it painfully clear Satellizer's life should and will be dedicated to the Ecla household and kingdom, her own well being is a secondary concern, at best.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Maria Eluka Nova]]

Another Maria that exists in the Nova dimension.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: While she may run the "Rounders," it's not clear if she knows what the Gengo Ecla counterpart does to build the "Order" her knights have to fight in it, or even if she does, it's only because she's trying to avoid something worse.
* AndIMustScream: While inside the Nova Construct forged by her "sisters," she's fully aware of what's going on, but powerless to do anything about it. Even her pleas to cease hostilities and enter peaceful negotiations are summarily ignored and shouted down.
* BreakTheCutie: After her sisters decided to interfere with the war by turning a lot of soldiers into Order and start slaughtering everybody, leaving her on the losing side.
* ForcedIntoEvil: Literally. The "goddesses of balance" use a tractor beam to suck her up into their Nova construct while berating her about her "duty to protect Ecla."
* GodIsGood: And regrets everything that happened in Kazuya's world when the truth comes out.
* GodsHandsAreTied: She's well aware of what the Nova have been doing in Kazuya's Earth, but was powerless to stop it.
* GoodAllAlong: She actually ''wasn't'' aware of Ibaniel's evil nature, and tolerated his depravity because she had no other options. When Kazuya was unjustly imprisoned, she went incognito, spied on Ibaniel's EvilGloating and then broke Kazuya out.
* GoodIsNotNice: While she does have the best interests of her people at heart, she's highly acerbic.
* IdenticalStranger: She doesn't just look like the Maria Lancelot that Kazuya knows, she's named Maria too.
* LivingMacGuffin: The Nova dimension's version of Gengo is constantly trying to force her to use her "power," whatever it is, just for his twisted pleasure.
* WhatTheHellHero: Calls out her goddess sisters for interfering in the war which killed so many soldiers both friend and foe.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ibaniel]]

The Nova's dimension version of Gengo Aoi. He is a high priest who directly serves the "Three Goddesses" of Eluka.
----
* TheCasanova: He exploits the fact that men are scarce to engage in orgies so frequently, he can't even tell what time of the year it is. In fact, when the yearly, "Round" occurs, he's actually surprised that a full year has passed.
* DirtyCoward: He's only willing to antagonize Kazuya, who is half his size, when he's got an army of soldiers helping him, one of whom stabs Kazuya in the leg for good measure, or has Kazuya on the other side of bars in a jail cell.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: He honestly can not understand why anybody would give up their own pleasure for the sake of others, and calls them all "fools" for daring to defend themselves from the sadistic "Goddesses of Balance."
* EvilCounterpart: To the Gengo of Earth. While Earth's Gengo frequently engages in questionable behavior, he only does so because it's the lesser of two evils, and he still expects to eventually be punished for it. '''This''' Gengo does horrible things, because they ''are'' horrible, and relishes in it because he knows that there's not much the powers that be can do about it, as he's already in a prison, and they can't risk killing him.
* EntitledToHaveYou: Combined with IfICantHaveYou. To Satellizer Ecla. He will do anything to force her into his bed. If his machinations fail to achieve this end, he will be more than satisfied if she's literally torn to pieces. He also throws this to Maria's face after her rebellion fails thanks to her sisters interfering in the war.
* HateSink: Oh boy, he's the most despicable villain in the series, and that says something.
* HeelRealization: Combined with RedemptionEqualsDeath. He realizes that his hedonism is hardly a good thing, short or long term, right before the "goddesses of balance" blast him to atoms.
* KickThemWhileTheyreDown: He smacks Kazuya around with his staff while Kazuya's on the ground, because Kazua's leg was stabbed and Kazuya was trying to stop the bleeding.
* TheHedonist: All he cares about is engaging in as much entertainment as he can.
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: He has shoulder length black hair, and is quite handsome, but he's wholly abhorent.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Throws this towards Maria for her failed revolution when the great goddesses turned a lot of the women into the "Order" and started slaughtering everyone both ally and enemy.
* {{Sadist}}: He's responsible for the "Round" occuring in the first place, where a multitude of suffering souls are shoved into a Nova host and then forcefully exorcised by the Nova's home dimension version of Pandora, just so he can savor the wails, screaming and suffering of the souls. When this stops being enough to entertain him, he sabotages the event to endanger said Pandora.
* SharpDressedMan: When he's actually wearing clothes, he's very elegantly dressed.
* YourSoulIsMine: He forcefully gathers souls to shove into Nova, after making them suffer horrifically first, and then has the top demon slayers of his realm fight them in a gladiatorial arena, just for his sick amusement. The demon-slayers are not aware of this.
[[/folder]]

!!"Goddesses of Balance"
[[folder:Common to all]]
* BadIsGoodAndGoodIsBad: They view Ibaniel as the paragon of virtue and view Kazuya as the epitome of evil. Why? Because Ibaniel's hedonism brings them quick and easy soul energy harvests while Kazuya's nobility and charity trades quick and easy harvests for long-term sustainability.
* BlackSpeech: They all speak in this.
* DidNotThinkThisThrough: They sided with Ibaniel because his LadyLand "utopia" brings quick and easy "soul energy" harvests. Unfortunately, with a population that's over 99% female, the status quo is not sustainable in any way, shape or form. In one generation, two tops, humanity on the world of Ecla will be extinct... And they're cracking down on Satellizer Ecla, '''hard''', for pointing this out.
* FogFeet: They have no legs. They move around by floating, with no obvious mechanism for it.
* AGodAmI: They call themselves the "goddesses of balance" despite having no actual on-screen divine origin.
* GreaterScopeVillain: In chapters 217, 218, and 219, they outright admit creating the Nova.
* HumanoidAbomination: They have human heads, torsos and waists, but they have TronLines like the nova, no legs, and a beehive "shell" on their back.
* HumansAreInsects: They see humans as insignificant nuisances, on a good day, only tolerating human existence for the sake of harvesting "soul energy" for their own consumption.
* MassOhCrap: Combined with ThisCannotBe Every time the five Pandora from Earth manage to fight back against them, they utterly panic while shrieking how "impossible" it is for humans to stand up to them.
* MoralMyopia: They are incensed beyond reason that Earth's "goddesses of balance" would attack them. The fact that one of their own started the fight by trying to blast the Pandora who arrived from Earth with an energy beam while said pandora was trying to open peaceful negotiations is irrelevant.
* SmugSnake: True, they are very powerful, and it's a fatal mistake to underestimate them, but they're not as smart, clever, omniscient or omnipotent as they believe themselves to be.
* StandardHeroReward: How they view handing Maria Ecla off to Ibaniel as a SexSlave. Maria's feelings on the matter are insignificant.
* TautologicalTemplar: They believe themselves to be benevolent deities, so therefore '''everything''' they do is itself benevolent, regardless of the method, and woe be unto any that object.
* WaveMotionGun: Just like the Nova, they fire these when cornered.
