[[folder:Taiga Touma]]
!!Taiga Touma
-> '''Voiced by''': Creator/NoriakiSugiyama ([=PS2=])

Taiga Touma is the protagonist of the story and quite an open lecher. Surprisingly he actually seems to be rather successful in his pursuits despite the story beginning with him messing up. While he begins as an ordinary student living in Japan, he and his little sister are soon dragged into an alternate world called Avatar where the pair quickly receive their own Aether Relics as they join the Savior Class training to save the world. His sister just wants to go home, but Taiga figures if he saves the world he'll get his own harem. Due to coming from an advanced scientific world, his mindset is rather opposed to the principles magic is built on and thus has no aptitude for it, rendering him a pure brawler. While his oversexed attitude gets on the nerves of his classmates, they do come to realize his sincerity. His Aether Relic is Traitor and it takes the form of a ShapeshifterWeapon with a default short sword form.

* AccidentalKiss: Thanks to Nanako tackling him, Taiga accidentally kisses Crea in her route. Crea is a lot happier about it than he is.
* BattleHarem: His choice of love interests apart from Crea are all Savior Class candidates and usually badasses.
* BelligerentSexualTension: A lot of snarky insults fly between him and Lily almost constantly and the chemistry between them is extremely thick: She's the one Mia gets so jealous over that [[spoiler:she pulls a FaceHeelTurn and goes yandere.]]
* {{BFS}}: Averted normally. Traitor appears to be a short sword. It's length can extend, however. [[spoiler: At the very end of the last route, Traitor gets an upgrade and becomes... well, still not incredibly huge, but larger than would really be practical to use onehanded like he normally does. [[AvertedTrope Thus, he starts wielding it two-handed instead]].]]
* BoyMeetsGhoul: Nanashi’s introduction has her awakening inside a grave and eventually trying to creep into Taiga’s room for sexy fun times, but upon realizing her undeath he begins running in terror instead. She continues pursuing him and eventually joins the party, but he remains rather cool to the idea due to the whole ‘I don’t screw corpses’ thing he has going on. [[spoiler:Though it turns out she’s technically not dead, she’s a homunculus.]]
* BreakingTheFourthWall: A minor gargoyle complains about how it doesn't even get to be animated and make the heroes look cool for beating him and Taiga just says that small fries like him aren't worth drawing.
* ChickMagnet: Taiga is rather popular with girls and knows it, but he also gets shot down a lot due to how wide of a net he casts. This is not helped by the negative rumors his clingy little sister spreads. He’s popular enough that attempting to juggle one hundred girls at once is only being held back somewhat by his rather questionable reputation. In Rico's ending [[spoiler:where he is sent back to Earth to a point before the plot begins]] the girls are all after ''him'' now that he isn't pursuing them first. Mia is baffled, especially since he's politely turning everyone down.
* ChivalrousPervert: Taiga, sometimes. It depends on who he’s with. For example, Kaede is a little too innocent for him to really exploit though it’s clear he easily could.
%%* DistressedDude: [[spoiler:In the final Route.]]
* EmergencyTransformation: [[spoiler:Rubinas cannot allow Taiga to become the Messiah, so she stabs him in the heart and kills him. However, he’s also a hero and she’s in love with him, so she grabs his soul as he dies, takes it within her and puts it into a homunculus body.]]
* EthicalSlut: Taiga, more or less. He’s not okay with force, but pretty much anything else is good. Also, most endings imply that he is pretty open about the fact that while he loves whoever he’s with, he’ll still probably be sleeping with other girls. That said, though, the story tends to play it for laughs.
* HaremSeeker: Taiga. It’s even the final route. In some of the endings such as Berio’s he’s pretty up front about the fact that he’s going to sleep with other girls, though not all of said endings. In Rico's, for example, he's [[spoiler:willingly waiting for her to return]] and avoiding other relationships.
* HateAtFirstSight: He instantly dislikes the sarcastic Downy. It's not until the very last route that they have a real conversation.
* HeroesPreferSwords: A shapeshifting sword, but still a sword.
* IGaveMyWord: If Taiga makes a promise, he’ll stick to it no matter what.
* LargeHam: He has his moments.
%%* LovableSexManiac: For a given definition of 'lovable.'
* MistakenForCheating: Taiga tries to invoke this in the beggining of the game with one of his girlfriends on the phone. It doesn't work.
* NotInThisForYourRevolution: Discussed. Taiga’s most consistent motivation is being able to become the hero and using his status to pick up even more girls. Matching that is a desire to protect his friends, but for the world at large he’s surprisingly unconcerned.
* SecondHourSuperpower: Taiga acquires Traitor at the end of the first chapter, at which point he goes from only being able to do normal punches to being the strongest person in the class.
* SexForSolace: [[spoiler:After Mia 'dies' in her route, Taiga comforts himself my having rough sex with Lily for hours on end. Making it worse is that while she isn't exactly unwilling, if she had been he really might not have cared. This event causes Mia to go even crazier, however, and she kills thousands of people.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler:Super Taiga, who is only available for the final map.]]
* TurnTheOtherCheek: Invoked and inverted. During one of the conversations Taiga says that if someone slaps him on the cheek, he'll tape a thumb tack on the other.
* UnskilledButStrong: He's at the top of the class when it comes to combat along with Lily, but unlike Kaede he's mostly just a brute force fighter. She's faster, more experienced and skilled than him, but still can't win. He's also the only one to successfully defeat Rico during their first match despite being nothing more than a student swinging around a sharp stick.
* VolleyingInsults: He and Lily are constantly trading insults.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Berio Trope]]
!!Berio Trope
-> '''Voiced by''': Kayo Wada (PC), Creator/MikakoTakahashi ([=PS2=])

Berio Trope is the healer and support unit of the group. She is very devout and is often found in the local church. While she is very nice to most people, she and Taiga start off on the wrong foot and he squabbles with her almost as much as he does Lily. That said, they do appear to reach an understanding quite early both in relation to how Taiga sees his duty and Berio's own skeletons in the closet: Her background as a quasi MafiaPrincess and a kleptomaniac split personality known as Black Papillon.
----
* TheAtoner: She decided to become a priestess to atone for the crimes committed by her family, though she does her best to forget they ever existed. The career is largely a way for her to punish herself and keep things that would make her happy away, such as love.
* CantHoldHerLiquor: She has poor alcohol tolerance so she tries to use her position as class president to get the drinking party removed from the festivities. She fails and ends up getting plastered immediately.
* GuestStarPartyMember: In the final route you can use her Black Papillon form which was previously only even seen very early in the game.
* InTheBlood: Papillon says that she’s a thief because it’s in her blood [[spoiler:though this makes little sense considering she’s adopted.]]
%%* JekyllAndHyde: Berio and Papillon.
%%* MagicStaff: Euphonia.
* KungFuWizard: With Euphonia she's quite able to handle herself in combat.
* LoveAtFirstSight: According to Black Papillon, Berio fell for Taiga as soon as she saw him. Despite her cold attitude, it's pretty clear that she has a point.
* PowerCrutch: Without Euphonia the most she can do is cast healing spells.
* RedMage: Though more of TheMedic than offensive, she does have some offensive abilities. In gameplay, she can't heal, but she does have barrier abilities and the like.
%%* SplitPersonality: Berio and Black Papillon.
* {{Stripperific}}: When she turns into her alternate personality.
* {{Tsundere}}: Though not as extreme as Lily since her schtick is the Black Papillon thing.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kaede Hiiragi]]
!!Kaede Hiiragi
-> '''Voiced by''': Marina Oda (PC), Creator/ShizukaIto ([=PS2=])

Kaede Hiiragi is the last Savior Candidate summoned. While she initially puts up a cold, businesslike front so that she'll be taken seriously as a ninja, she's actually fairly ditzy. On the other hand, she really is an amazing hand to hand fighter with a great deal of training, belying her incompetent seeming attitude. Unfortunately, due to seeing her parents killed in front of her, she has a strong fear of blood that holds her back as a fighter. Kaede comes from a world more like our own than one of magic, so like Taiga she has no aptitude for it. Instead, she's a FragileSpeedster who uses a tonfa as her primary weapon.
----
* AcquiredPoisonImmunity: [[spoiler:Thanks to this, Kaede is merely held up instead of being killed when she faces Mudou for the DuelBoss fight in the final route. He poisoned his weapons and she passed out but didn’t die as he intended.]]
%%* ActionGirl
* AfraidOfBlood: As a result of seeing her father murdered in front of her, she's terrified of the sight of blood and will easily faint when she sees it. Kinda gets in the way of her profession.
* AntiquatedLinguistics: She uses archaic speech patterns like 'de gozaru' instead of the more common 'desu' and uses the ancient, humble 'sessha' first person pronoun.
%%* BabiesEverAfter: Invoked but not seen.
* CantHoldHerLiquor: She gets trashed almost instantly during the final route's drinking party. Since an aphrodesiac was mixed in, she and Berio instantly leap into getting rather 'friendly.'
* CombatPragmatist: She's trained as an assassin and typically fights in a fairly dirty manner.
* TheDitz: She's generally rather oblivious and looks to Taiga as a role model.
* FragileSpeedster: Kaede is extremely fast, but her blocks are rather weak.
* HeroWorshipper: She looks up to Taiga as her master. She also nurses a huge crush on him, but since her world has the custom of only sleeping with the person you marry Taiga is loathe to take advantage of it.
* {{Kunoichi}}: Averted, much to Taiga's disappointment. Ninja's learn assassination in Kaede's world, but not seduction.
* {{Ninja}}: She's trained as an assassin, though she's never actually killed anyone before.
* {{Revenge}}: She seeks to kill Mudou for killing her father.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Rico]]
!!Rico
-> '''Voiced by''': An Kasuga (PC), Creator/OmiMinami ([=PS2=])

Rico is the summoner of the Savior Candidate class, though oddly enough she does not remember summoning Taiga. While those with the aptitude to become summoners are rare, this does not necessarily make them strong mages. She is in fact the member of the class with the lowest battle aptitude ratings and consistently loses against her opponents after the first match. In terms of abilities, she's quite fragile and tends to make more use of support skills than direct attacks, thought not to the extent that Berio does. She is extremely quiet, but she's the only member of the original class that has an even slightly favorable opinion of Taiga from the start.
----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: [[spoiler:Imnity and Rico are basically the personification of the ‘white and red laws’ that govern existence, otherwise known as causality and human bonds.]]
* BigEater: Rico apparently has a bottomless stomach, much to the irritation of the competitive head cook who keeps trying to make too much for her to eat. [[spoiler:This has to do with her being the spirit of the Red Book.]] In the final route [[spoiler:she gets turned into a human, but it turns out she can still eat that much without gaining weight.]]
* CantHoldHerLiquor: Rico is the last of the three that can't handle alcohol well. She's still pretty mellow when drunk so it doesn't show up as well.
* CastFromHP: [[spoiler:Whenever Rico uses magic, she has to spend some of her life force if she doesn't have a master.]]
* DeusSexMachina: Rico forms contracts with people through sex, though up until Taiga they were all female.
* GirlishPigtails: All the way down to her knees.
* LapPillow: Rico, who's drunk on spiked orange juice at the time, gets one.
* MagicContractRomance: Rico's route ends up being that way, though [[spoiler:Taiga contracts with Rico way before you enter any route.]]
* TheQuietOne: Initially. [[spoiler:Unless she has a proper Master, any time she does anything she’s burning her lifespan, so she puts as little energy into things as possible.]] After that is taken care of, she becomes simply soft spoken.
%%* RedMage
%%* TokenMiniMoe
* WillfullyWeak: Rico only fights the other students at her full force the first time she fights them. She wins every time she does this, then promptly stops trying in future matches. [[spoiler:She’s merely testing their ability to be the true Red Apostle.]] She’s quite astonished when Taiga beats her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Nanashi]]
!!Nanashi
-> '''Voiced by''': Miyabi Shion (PC), Creator/HitomiNabatame ([=PS2=])

Nanashi is a bizarre girl that Taiga literally stumbled upon while exploring a tomb with Berio. Not noticing her, he followed the fleeing Berio outside and was followed by Nanashi, who showed up in his room that night. Charmed by the extremely cute girl who confessed her love to him, he was all ready to get some action going. Unfortunately, her arm fell and she cheerily announced her undead status. In terms of personality, Nanashi is quite the ditz, though she also shows some surprising skills. She has great knowledge of medicine and by means unknown is capable of matching the Savior Class candidates despite not having an Aether Relic of her own. Despite her rather open affections and cute appearance, Taiga finds her abhorrent and tries to stay away due to her corpse like body temperature, glompy behavior and tendency to fall apart.

* AbhorrentAdmirer: She falls in love with Taiga instantly, but upon realizing her cold, dead body he runs in terror whenever he sees her. After awhile he gets used to her and then it's just running because she annoys him.
* AnimalEaredHeadband:Why a zombie girl who has been dead for hundreds of years has a pink bunny ears headband is never really elaborated on.
* BadassAdorable: Nanashi is extremely cutesy, but she's also one of the top fighters in the group and manages to beat both Lily and Taiga without them having the slightest idea what she's done.
* ConfusionFu: A lot of Nanashi’s abilities are based off her being really, really weird. She actually [[spoiler:beats Lily and Taiga]] the first time she fights because nobody has any idea what she’s going to do. In gameplay, this tends to involve fun things like taking her head off and throwing it at people, summoning spirits and popping graves out of the ground.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: She's basically brainless and has no real attention span to speak of, but she's also at least on par with the other Savior Candidates despite lacking an Aether Relic. Nobody is even sure what she's doing.
* CuddleBug: To an extent. Her head even sticks around after matches when she’s beaten and bounces around happily next to you until you smack it away.
* TheCutie: The writers seem to have gone out of their way to make her as cute as humanly possible, most likely to help contrast the whole undead thing for humor and later [[spoiler:the dignified, quiet Rubinas.]]
* GeniusDitz: She’s actually quite a competent fighter even while lacking an Aether Relic, has knowledge of medicine and alchemy and seems to be able to detect magic. She's also quite capable of seeing through Lily's tsundere facade.
* GenkiGirl: She even skips happily during fights. In between combat, she'll chase Taiga around everywhere.
* GuestStarPartyMember: [[spoiler:As Rubinas.]]
* LiteralSplitPersonality: [[spoiler:Nanashi is Rubinas’ soul inside a homunculus. Her memories are treated as a separate persona and reside within a pendant. As far as bodies go, Lobelia has hers.]]
* LoveAtFirstSight: Nanashi falls in love with Taiga instantly. Unfortunately for her, he’s not too fond of zombie girls.
* OurHomunculiAreDifferent: Her strange body and fragmented memories are a result of [[spoiler:being a homunculus with only the soul of the person who made it inside with only a few scraps of memory to accompany it.]]
* SoulJar: [[spoiler:Nanashi is Rubinas’ soul jar.]]
* ThirdPersonPerson: She doesn't actually get a name for three or four chapters and when she does it still just means 'Nameless.' After that, it's always Nanashi this and Nanashi that.
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler:Her Rubinas form]] in terms of story, however, it's not actually that great and has a simpler play style.
* TrueLovesKiss: [[spoiler:The way to awaken Nanashi to her true memories involves a kiss from someone she either trusts or loves. The other bit involves a magic pendant, but even without that the kiss alone will bring her body to a more lifelike state. When this happens, her senses also appear to become stronger.]]
* TheUndead: She seems to be a revenant since she apparently rose from the dead herself, indicating unfulfilled desires. [[spoiler:Nope! She's a homunculus.]]
* VerbalTic: Nanashi has 'desu no' added to the end of most of her sentences. [[spoiler:Muriel is slightly mortified to see Rubinas still doing it occasionally after she wakes up.]]
* WrongGenreSavvy: She keeps bouncing around what genre she thinks the story is in, starting with dating sim and shoujo cliches to eventually [[ForGreatJustice declaring her pursuit of justice to a bunch of monsters.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lily Sheerfield]]
!!Lily Sheerfield
-> '''Voiced by''': Kanari Kanzaki (PC), Creator/SanaeKobayashi ([=PS2=])

Lily is the class ace and a top notch tsundere. She is very hard working and proficient in destructive magic, though her healing and support leave something to be desired. In contrast to Touma, she has always lived in magic influenced worlds and thus finds the studies of science to be as difficult as Taiga finds magic. However, due to her competitive nature and desire to be the best she begins studying it with renewed vigor when Taiga and Mia join the class. Lily is arrogant and dismissive, but her attitude is an obvious front to cope with the pain of having her entire world destroyed by Ruin when she was a child. Lily is the most openly hostile person to Taiga in the class [[SlapSlapKiss in a manner of speaking.]] She is highly combat oriented and focuses on sharp, fast magical attacks.

* TheAce: She's the best allied mage in the story apart from Muriel and formerly the most powerful of the Savior Candidates by a wide margin [[spoiler:not counting Rico's WillfullyWeak nature]] and both she and Berio admit that despite having just picked up healing magic she'll be better than Berio, the healing specialist, in no time.
* AmplifierArtifact: Righteous works by amplifying spellcasting and making it easier to gather up mana, which makes the user a much more powerful spellcaster.
* BabiesEverAfter: Via a DistantFinale we learn that she had a son named Daichi. [[spoiler:Also happens in Mia's ending, where we find out that she is pregnant with Taiga's child.]]
* BelligerentSexualTension: A lot of snarky insults fly between her and Taiga almost constantly and the chemistry between them is extremely thick: She's the one Mia gets so jealous over that [[spoiler:she pulls a FaceHeelTurn and goes yandere.]]
* BlackMage: Lily not knowing any healing magic is a brief plot point between chapters five and six.
* BrokenBird: Her world was attacked and possibly destroyed by Ruin, which gives her panic attacks when facing them. She overcomes this issue offscreen early on, but it's still left her rather belligerent and dismissive towards Mia until she gets over it. Even after ''that'' she covers for her personal failings and fears with {{pride}}.
* HairTriggerTemper: She's rather easy to set off, even if you're aren't Taiga. If you ''are'' Taiga, then you'll go out of your way to pick on her and get lightning bolts for your efforts.
* HappilyAdopted: Muriel adopted her when passing through a world that was being destroyed by Ruin.
* ILetYouWin: Attempted, but Lily is just too competitive to really throw a fight.
* {{Pride}}: She's extremely proud of her abilities, which makes her irritable when it turns out that Taiga is at least as tough as she is and even more irritable when she becomes attracted to him [[{{Tsundere}} since she's too proud to admit it.]]
* RedMage: Averted at first until she realizes she can't just blow everything up.
* TheRival: She would never admit it, but she views Taiga as her rival. If you lose to Kaede in your match against her, Lily is quite disappointed.
* ShockAndAwe: She specializes in lightning magic, though she has plenty of fire attacks and some ice spells to go along with it.
* TheSmartGuy: She wouldn't admit it, but she tends to defer to Taiga when it comes to leadership. However, she does seem to be the one who does a lot of the planning.
* TakingYouWithMe: [[spoiler:Attempted, but failed due to canceling the spell in order to avoid hitting Taiga with it. She would have dragged in all the Lords of Ruin minus Downy himself in if successful.]]
* {{Tsundere}}: You can interpret the [[ShockAndAwe Love Love Beam]] however you like. Mia hints that if Lily had pulled the dere switch earlier she'd have won Taiga over quickly.
* TsurimeEyes: Befitting her sharp nature and her sharp tongue she has rather sharp eyes.
* VolleyingInsults: She and Taiga are constantly snapping at each other.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Mia Touma]]
!!Mia Touma
-> '''Voiced by''': Akari Tomiyama (PC), Creator/NorikoShitaya ([=PS2=])

Mia is Taiga's little sister and was summoned to Avatar at the same time he was. Unlike Taiga, she just wants to go home, though she's unwilling to leave without her brother. Despite being more intelligent than Taiga or Kaede in general, she also shows no aptitude for magic due to the world she came from. She's also not as powerful as they are and tends to rely on her Aether Relic Justy, which is a very powerful bow. She is extremely possessive, does not care much about the world she has been summoned to and is often at loggerheads with resident {{tsundere}} Lily. However, despite her obvious and massive infatuation with her brother, she is willing to stay and fight alongside him despite his loudly declared goal of assembling a harem.

* ActionGirl: Though due to being new to this sort of thing she's generally regarded as being rather weak.
* AttemptedRape: [[spoiler:Some boys back on Earth nearly did this to her in the distant past, before Taiga came in and rescued her. This was the catalyst which led to her obsession with him.]]
* BitchInSheepsClothing: She looks kind, cute and sweet, but she's petty, clingy, jealous and combative, all of which really come to the forefront in her own route.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Mia’s got it bad. She has a particular grudge against Lily when it comes to people getting too close to her beloved brother.
* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: [[spoiler:Mia more or less rapes Taiga in his dreams via lack of proper consent by use of a potion, but apart from being a little squicked in the morning he doesn’t care.]]
%%* FaceHeelTurn: During her route, some things get a little ''complicated'' regarding Mia.
* GreenEyedMonster: She views Taiga as ''hers'' and gets very jealous when people infringe upon her territory. This can result in either relationship sabotage such as her spreading (true) rumors about her brother's sex life before the story start and afterward just being rather distant from the other girls or aggressive. She has a particular lack of acceptance for Lily in this respect which becomes a major issue in two routes.
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: She's clingy and doesn't really care much about other people, but if Taiga likes someone else she will very grudgingly step aside most of the time. Unless it's Lily for some reason, in which case she hates her too much.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: [[spoiler:Mia has her memory wiped in her good ending.]]
* LittleSisterHeroine: She's definitely on the clingy side.
* LivingEmotionalCrutch: Taiga is Mia’s crutch [[spoiler:and she really doesn’t care much about anyone else.]] As Taiga puts it, his world consists of Mia, Lily, the savior class, the girls of the world and the men who love them. For Mia, there's just Taiga.
* MoreThanMindControl: [[spoiler:Even after having the hypnotic suggestion on her broken, Mia still supports the goals of the Lords of Ruin in her route out of yandere desire.]]
* NotBloodRelated: Mia and Taiga ''think'' they're not related, [[SubvertedTrope but]] she's actually his half sister.
* ThirdPersonPerson: Mia slips into it when upset.
* TookALevelInBadass: Like Taiga, Mia has an upgraded form using the full power of her Aether Relic. The upgrade only happens in the last two routes, however, [[spoiler:and she's your enemy in one.]] Her melee range increases, her attack range improves, she gains some bonus effects and her damage goes up so high that her AB super is perhaps the most damaging move in the game and is easily spammable. Unlike Taiga's upgrade form, she doesn't get an autoguard ability however.
* UnfriendlyFire: [[spoiler:She tries to get Lily petrified and then later abandons her to die.]]
* VisibleSilence: In Mia's route when the group is planning on [[spoiler:using what they were told was holy water and is actually a petrification potion]], we see Mia go '...' twice while Lily is planning to use it so that it's clear [[spoiler:she knew exactly what the potion was when she steps in to stop Taiga before he can do it before Lily does. Another hint that Mia has gone far off the deep end.]]
* {{Yandere}}: [[spoiler:Mia goes kinda crazy in her route and, in order, drugs Taiga in his sleep and rapes him, abandons her empathy, attempts to get Lily petrified, tries to leave Lily to actually die and finally pulls a FaceHeelTurn when the mind control on her is broken because she can smell Lily on Taiga. It only gets worse from there.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Princess Crea]]
!!Princess Crea
-> '''Voiced by''': Creator/KaoriMizuhashi ([=PS2=])

When wandering around between classes one day, Taiga and some of his classmates stumble across an arrogant little pink haired girl, who demands that they show them about the academy and especially the facilities of the Savior Class. Eventually, she 'accidentally' gets them into a fight with some monsters and disappears while they are busy. Soon after, it is revealed that she is actually [[PrincessesRule the reigning monarch]] of the nation and a clever strategist and diplomat despite genuinely being the age she appears. Despite her declaring her love for Taiga in several routes, she did not have a route until the release of ''Destiny''. She has no combat ability.

* AccidentalKiss: Thanks to Nanako tackling him, Taiga accidentally kisses Crea in her route. Crea is a lot happier about it than he is.
* BabiesEverAfter: She gets pregnant with Taiga's child during her route. This seems to happen after she has intercourse with an unconscious Taiga.
* DudeShesLikeInAComa: Apparently sleeps with an unconscious Taiga before the big battle and whatnot goes on. [[spoiler:He's going to have a real surprise waiting for him when he gets back from sealing God, huh?]]
* GirlishPigtails: When she doesn't want to be recognized, walking around the city, her hairdo sports two pigtails.
* HeroicSacrifice: In several endings, but not all.
* ImprobableAge: Apparently, Crea really is as old as she looks or close to it. This means she’s leading the world’s strongest country at somewhere around ten to twelve.
* PrincessesRule: She's the leader of the country and perhaps world of Avatar itself due to her parents being dead, but she's still a princess. This is most likely due to her youth: In the epilogue of Justice, it's noted that she became queen at some point.
* PromotedToLoveInterest: Crea’s route in Destiny replaces/refocuses the harem route from the original game.
* RoseHairedSweetie: When she's not on duty, Crea is rather cheery and she's definitely strong and passionate.
* SixthRanger: Crea takes up a prominent role in the final route of Destiny, changing what was originally a harem route to making her more of a primary love interest and altering the group dynamics.
* TheSmartGuy: She's just a little girl so she's no good at fighting, but she's an excellent strategist and highly intelligent.
* SuperSpeedReading: She can read through dense magical tomes the size of a phone book in under a minute.
* TeenGenius: Crea is extremely well read and intelligent, which allows her to be the beloved princess of the kingdom at the approximate age of ten.

[[folder:Muriel Sheerfield]]
!!Muriel Sheerfield
-> '''Voiced by''': Kanoko Hatamiya (PC), Creator/YurikoYamaguchi ([=PS2=])

Muriel Sheerfield is the principal of Floria Academy and a natural guess for who ought to be a Savior Candidate. However, as explained early on, she is so powerful that nothing is enough of a threat to her for her to require her to call upon an Aether Relic in the first place. Thus, she is merely in charge of the academy. She is cold and practical in most matters, though she has a soft spot for adopted daughter Lily. True to her reputation, she is in fact an extremely powerful mage, though opportunities to see her in action are rare.

* TheArchmage: Muriel is considered one of the strongest mages to have ever lived. Her normal attacks are about on par with Lily's supers and Lily is considered a genius herself ''and'' has an Aether Relic that is boosting her spell casting.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: [[spoiler:Upon learning that Black Papillon was Berio all along, Muriel merely comments that her stripperiffic getup is against the school dress code.]]
* GuestStarPartyMember: In the final route.
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: [[spoiler:Muriel is trying to kill the Messiah candidates in order to prevent the apocalypse.]]
* PurposelyOverpowered: On the very rare chance you get to use Muriel, she absolutely dominates. Hardly a surprise [[spoiler:considering she’s a rather painful boss fight and a previous Savior candidate.]]
* ScaryShinyGlasses
* TheStoic: Quite in contrast to her [[{{Tsundere}} outspoken]] daughter, Muriel seems constantly stoic faced and slightly dismissive.
* UriahGambit: [[spoiler:Muriel was trying to get Taiga killed by sending him to fight the Messiah Armor. When he makes it back alive, she tries to kill him with her own hands. In the final route, this goes badly wrong when he’s forced to actually put it on. In the final route this is lessened to attempting to leave him petrified throughout the entire war. It's also likely that earlier missions that were seemingly suicide in earlier chapters were similar attempts.]]
* WhenSheSmiles: Taiga is a little miffed that Muriel always appears to be the stoic, so when she laughs during Mia’s route [[spoiler:[[SubvertedTrope he actually ends up terrified and runs away.]]]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Dahlia Craford]]
!!Dahlia Craford
-> '''Voiced by''': Miyabi Matsushita (PC), Creator/SayakaOhara ([=PS2=])

Dahlia Craford is the other teacher seen on a regular basis. She's rather spacey, but in fact is another highly talented mage. Taiga is much more interested in her chest, however, [[BoobBasedGag which gets its own sound effect when she moves about.]] Despite her ability, she is never available as either a friendly or enemy unit.

* BuxomBeautyStandard: Dahlia. Taiga seems simultaneously highly attracted and slightly repulsed.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Her abilities are pointed out fairly early, but you don't see it for a long time.
* OptionalSexualEncounter: If you stumble across the correct event.

[[folder:Selbium Volt]]
!!Selbium Volt
-> '''Voiced by''': Daisuke Ishikawa (PC), Creator/TakahiroMizushima ([=PS2=])

Selbium Volt is Taiga's best friend at the academy due to the way they see eye to eye on everything. Though he's quite the flirt, he is primarily infatuated with Taiga's sister [[HopelessSuitor who never takes him seriously.]] Despite his rather undignified role, he's actually fairly popular, thought not the same extent as Taiga. Sel is not proficient in magic nor does he have an Aether Relic, but he is in fact a highly trained soldier and fighter.

%%* BadassNormal
%%* {{BFS}}
* BloodFromTheMouth: [[spoiler:After his HeroicSacrifice, in Berio and Kaede's routes.]]
* FaceHeelTurn: [[spoiler:In the Mia route Sel goes absolutely berserk when Taiga appears responsible for Mia falling to her 'death' and ends up being a boss fight.]]
* GuestStarPartyMember: In the final route.
* HandsomeLech: He's actually rather good-looking, so much so that some girls imply near the beginning of the game that he probably would be prime dating material if not for his attitude.
* HeroicSacrifice: In several endings, but not all.
* HopelessSuitor: To Mia.
%%* LovableSexManiac
* NoBodyLeftBehind: [[spoiler:In Kaede's route, Taiga uses Traitor to make Sel's body disappear.]]
* TookALevelInJerkass: In Mia's route, he turns into a huge asshole after [[spoiler:Mia apparently dies]] even after this is proven not to be true.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Downy Reed]]
!!Downy Reed
-> '''Voiced by''': Creator/KenNarita (PC), Creator/ShoHayami ([=PS2=])

Downy Reed is the final teacher of note at Floria academy and something of a sarcastic jerk. Taiga immediately starts to dislike him. Downy, for his part, is offended at Taiga's disrespectful attitude. Like the other two teachers shown, he is a highly capable mage and also a proficient swordsman.

%%* BadBoss
%%* BigBad
* BodyguardBetrayal: [[spoiler:Downy in the final route.]] Though, he claims he wasn't really betraying anyone as he's working for Ruin the entire time.
* CynicismCatalyst: [[spoiler:Long after we know he’s a villain from previous routes, Downy gets a gentler moment where he actually gets along with Taiga for a while and talks about his own little sister. She apparently died in a war, leaving him quite bitter.]]
* GuestStarPartyMember: In the final route.
* MegaManning: Downy Reed has the ability to absorb the power of others, in some cases to the point of actually draining their life itself away. [[spoiler:He kills both Imnity and Lobelia like this in some routes and uses this ability to instantly learn some of Muriel's better spells. This ability is how he's able to become a pseudo White Apostle: By putting Imnity under his control, he forces a contract.]]
* TheMole: Downy Reed is not just a spy, he’s the enemy boss.
* OmnicidalManiac: Downy wants to remake the world so that stuff like what happened [[spoiler:to him and his sister]] can't happen anymore. [[spoiler:Even if this means destroying humanity and the universe itself.]]
%%* StrawNihilist
* SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum: If the world can be remade to be more just, that's great. If it'll just be destroyed, that's fine too.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Shezar]]
!!Shezar
-> '''Voiced by''': Creator/JunichiSuwabe ([=PS2=])

Shezar is a bloodthirsty killer with no interest in how the world will end up after the battles are all over. He began as the killer in a murder/theft pair but eventually killed his partner and father for unknown reasons. His only pleasure lays in spilling blood, but oddly enough he's the only member of the Lords of Ruin who seems to value his companions.

* AvengingTheVillain: [[spoiler:Shezar is actually pretty pissed off when Mudou is killed and his teammates don’t seem to care.]]
%%* BloodKnight
%%* PsychoForHire
* VillainousFriendship: Mudou and Shezar fight a lot, but they also appear to get along fairly well. [[spoiler:Shezar is honestly upset when Mudou is killed in Mia’s route while the rest of the group merely shrugs and say he’s replaceable.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Mudou]]
!!Mudou Hachigyaku
-> '''Voiced by''': Creator/NorioWakamoto ([=PS2=])

Mudou is a giant of a man and a master swordsman. While not quite as interested in killing for its own sake as Shezar, he still places no value on human life and is a rather open rapist. Like Shezar, he seems to have little interest in what his side is actually doing and is mostly concerned with accumulating power and either killing or raping people.

%%* {{BFS}}
%%* BloodKnight
* CardCarryingVillain: Mudou's last name translated is basically a way of saying 'Super evil wicked sinner guy' in Japanese.
* ILoveTheDead: Mudou muses that it’s been a long time since he’s raped a dead girl in the final route.
* PeoplePuppets: With time to set up, Mudou can manipulate people’s bodies like puppets though some sort of mental triumph can apparently dissolve it.
%%* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil
* VillainousFriendship: Mudou and Shezar fight a lot, but they also appear to get along fairly well. [[spoiler:Shezar is honestly upset when Mudou is killed in Mia’s route while the rest of the group merely shrugs and say he’s replaceable.]]
* WorthyOpponent: In Mia's route, he seems to have some genuine respect for Taiga's abilities, even challenging him to single combat (apart from the ninjas everyone pretends don't exist), laughs when defeated and allows Taiga through without further attempts at his normal cheap tricks.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Imnity]]
!!Imnity
-> '''Voiced by''': Rie Nakagawa (PC), Creator/MamikoNoto ([=PS2=])

Imnity is a mysterious young girl who is in fact a spirit embodying the White Law, otherwise known as science, causality and the law of survival of the fittest. Unlike the others, she is mostly lacking in malice or grudges and seems to believe in the cause, though she can still be quite cruel at times.

* AnthropomorphicPersonification: [[spoiler:Imnity and Rico are basically the personification of the ‘white and red laws’ that govern existence, otherwise known as causality and human bonds.]]
* AntiVillain: [[spoiler:Imnity is really not that different from Rico. She’s simply doing what’s in her nature and cares for Mia every bit as much as Rico does for Taiga.]]
* EasilyForgiven: [[spoiler:Imnity gets to pull a HeelFaceTurn without comment.]]
%%* EvilTwin: [[spoiler:Rico's. Sort of.]]
* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler:In the True End to Mia’s route and the route after that.]]
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Imnity firmly believes she’s doing the right thing, though it's not dwelt on much.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lobelia]]
!!Lobelia

Lobelia is the final member of the Lords of Ruin. A thousand years ago, she was a hero who eventually began to feel outcast and unwanted. She became the White apostle and turned upon her friends and allies when they refused to support her over Rubinas. She is a powerful necromancer and genuinely believes in the goals of the group, but she seems to be mostly driven by thoughts of spite and revenge for the perceived betrayal from her former allies.

* BadPowersBadPeople: Played with. Lobelia is a necromancer and the only one of the old heroes to become evil but the idea that necromancy is bad is shot down on two points. First, necromancy is just another branch of magic and is in fact related to holy magic like Berio’s and secondly Lobelia being TheResenter had to do with her thinking people believed this about her powers rather than the actual truth.
* FallenHero: [[spoiler:Lobelia used to be a hero and the White Apostle, but the resulting conflict caused her to become even more bitter and convinced that her friends had betrayed her.]]
* GrandTheftMe: Necromancy allows the user to steal bodies unless stopped. Thus, we don’t know what [[spoiler:Lobelia]] originally looked like, only that she was heavily scarred.
%%* {{Necromancer}}
* TheResenter: Lobelia turned bitter and vengeful due to her heavy scarring and the perception that people hated her for using necromancy. In addition, Rubinas seems to have been more popular. Building on this, the other two members of the group both sided with Rubinas when the two began fighting, leaving her to feel betrayed.
%%* TheUndead
* VainSorceress: Lobelia became increasingly bitter in part because she felt her scarring made her extremely ugly.
