8	The first Hero released for gameplay, Grendel is Blacklight's demolitions expert, whose loadout consists of heavy armor, a customized Light Machine Gun and Heavy Pistol, a Barricade, a Minigun and a shitload of explosives.

11	** Aside from his LMG, Grendel's depot weapon also happens to be the T56 Trident, a [[MoreDakka Minigun]] with a total of 300 bullets ready to be fired at his enemies.
12	* CoolHelmet: Grendel wears the ''Allied [=R21V=] HUNTER'' helmet, which can be bought separately from his equipment set for your Agent.
13	* IShallTauntYou: Grendel comes equipped with the Flex taunt, which makes him [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin flex his guns]] and show everyone how ripped his biceps are. For best results, make him wear his Mercenary skin while he's at it.
14	* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: His Barricade Mk.1 Tactical Gear protects him from most frontal assaults while he actively wields it, and if he sets it down, it also allows him to safely deny areas to enemies by letting him shoot them through it.
15	* MightyGlacier: For having the highest amount of health possible thanks to his heavy armor, Grendel moves a lot slower compared to the other Heroes in exchange, with the weight of his equipped weapons also adding to his slowness.
16	* PunchPackingPistol: His signature secondary weapon is the ''Krane XS-V2 'Grendel''', a HP tuned to have improved damage, range and accuracy, but with slightly increased recoil.
17	* ScaryBlackMan: Grendel's Mercenary skin sees him forgoing his helmet and his arms' body armor, revealing him to be a muscular black man with tattoos etched across his upper arms, whose [[PerpetualFrowner frowning face]] is quite intimidating to see.
18	* StuffBlowingUp: A core component of his playstyle, Grendel is armed with the Frag, HE and Digi Grenades and the Proximity Mine - the first two for flushing enemies out of cover, the third for creating temporary visual cover, and the last for trapping areas likely to be frequented by enemies.

23	A stealth specialist who is somehow connected to OPRL. He focuses on speed, utilizing a Submachine Gun and the Cloak Tactical Gear, allowing him to sneak up on enemies. He also appears in the ''Blacklight: Tango Down'' comic.

26	* FragileSpeedster: Viper is a very fast stealth Hero thanks to the light armor and weaponry of his loadout, but in turn it makes him quite easy to kill - assuming of course that someone can actually land a few shots on him.

28	* WalkingShirtlessScene: One of his alternative skins, thanks to a Rocket Stinger's payload punching through the concrete cover he was hiding behind in the comic where he showed up. [[spoiler: It reveals that he's been infected by the Sentient Insanity Virus ([=SIV=]) that contributed to the entire mess in the ''Blacklight'' universe. Not that he seems to care, though.]]

38	* DeathFromAbove: She has the A36 Brimstone available as her depot weapon, which is a signal flare launcher used to call down an Airstrike at where it is pointed to.
39	* FragileSpeedster: Thanks to her playstyle, Duchess wears light armor pieces to keep up with her need to move to and fro while she snipes, but this also leaves her with very low health, getting her easily killed if someone lands a few shots on her.
40	* HandicappedBadass: She may have lost her left arm, but that didn't stop her from replacing it with a cybernetic one.
41	* MsFanservice: One of her alternative skins, Royal, turns this trope up a notch for her by giving her shirt a NavelDeepNeckline.
