Red is the main protagonist of the Angry Birds series and typically the central character in the games. Natural leader and grumpy to the extreme. He hates the pigs the most. He usually has no special abilities, though this varies depending on the game.
----
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: While he has no backstory whatsoever in the games, ''WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie'' gives him one on what he was like before the arrival of the pigs -- he was one of the few birds in a peaceful island community who had a HairTriggerTemper, and the other birds (except for some) shunned him for it.
* AdaptationalJerkass: While he's mostly the same ol' grumpy bird, the movie continuity portrays him as a miserable loner who doesn't like to stick around with the other birds to hide his insecurities.
* AdaptedOut: While still caring about the eggs, he's not their active guardian in the other adaptations such as in the movies.
* BigOlEyebrows: Sports impressive ones. In the movie, he was bullied for it when he was younger.
* BlackSheep: In ''The Angry Birds Movie'' as an angry bird in a community of happy birds.
%%zce* ByronicHero: He is this in the ''The Angry Birds Movie''.
* CharacterBlog: In 2021, he took over the [[https://twitter.com/AngryBirds Angry Birds Twitter account]] and made it to his image.
* ColourCodedEmotions: His body is colored red, which represents anger. He's also the biggest PapaWolf of the flock, so he's often angry.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Due to AdaptationalAngstUpgrade above in the ''The Angry Birds Movie'', this is the reason why he's always so grumpy.
* ADayInTheLimelight: The "Red's Mighty Feathers" episode of the first game focuses on Red, giving him the special ability to dash towards any point in the level while in the air.
* DeadpanSnarker: He's this in ''The Angry Birds Movie''.
* DisproportionateRetribution: In ''The Angry Birds Movie'', he administers this to a young chick who was disturbing his sleep by kicking a soccer ball against his house -- he comes outside, smiles at him...then punts him into the ocean.
* EasterEgg: If you tap the screen after you launch him, he'll make a battle cry. In ''2'', [[SuperScream this becomes his ability]].
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: In the "Red's Mighty Feathers" episode of the first game, he is given some magic feathers from the Mighty Eagle, giving him the ability to fly straight in the direction the screen is tapped.
* EvilDoppelganger: Sword Spirit, one of the bosses in ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic'', looks identical to Red.
* FieryRedhead: He's a red bird who's constantly angry at the pigs for stealing his eggs.
* GoodIsNotNice: Red has no intention of doing anything friendly most of the time, but he's still a good-hearted bird who's just edgier than the other birds.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Most of the flock qualifies due to their HairTriggerTemper, but Red is portrayed as both the most violent and the most protective bird of them all.
* HairTriggerTemper: Red is easily irritated with everything around his surroundings, especially when the safety of the eggs are at stake.
* HeroProtagonist: The main protagonist of the ''Angry Birds'' series, the leader of the flock, and, grumpy attitude aside, is a bird who truly means well and aims to do the right thing.
* HotBlooded: Thanks to his temper, he prones to overreacting toward everything that annoys him. In the movie, he even admits that he's a "passionate" bird.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold:
** As the leader of the flock, Red is easily the grumpiest bird and is sometimes a bit of control freak toward the other birds, especially when it comes to protecting the eggs. With that being said, he does care for them in the end.
** In the movie, he is easily irritated, snarky, grumpy and anti-social, but he has a good heart and is willing to help his island out at the end.
* TheLeader: Is this in all incarnations. Typically leans on the headstrong type, though he has shown elements of levelheadedness and mastermind when strategizing how best to attack the pigs.
* ALizardNamedLiz: A red bird named Red.
* MasterOfNone: In the original game, he has no special abilities, and is of average weight. This makes him usually the least useful bird for almost all situations. Subverted in [[ADayInTheLimelight Red's Mighty Feathers]], where the Mighty Eagle gave him magical feathers that finally grant him a special ability. Said special ability involves dashing directly towards the pigs in the game. He also gains the ability to push structures with his war cry in "Angry Birds 2", putting him on par with the other characters.
* MeaningfulName: Guess what color he is?
* NiceMeanAndInbetween: Between himself, Chuck, and Bomb, Red falls under the "Mean" category due to being the grumpiest bird of them all.
* PapaWolf: He's ''very'' protective of the eggs, to the point of going berserk over the slightest threat. And while it's applies to the other birds, episodes like "Off Duty" and "Tooth Royal" illustrate that Red alongside Matilda are the most serious about the eggs' safety, while the others would rather goof off unless the eggs are actually threatened.
* TheParanoiac:
** In the game, if you're Red, even harmless things can be interpreted as pigs attempting to steal their eggs. Knowing how persistent the pigs are, [[ProperlyParanoid he's not entirely wrong]].
** In the ''Toons'' short "Red's Vacation", he keeps thinking about the eggs when he's supposed to be on vacation, until he finally snaps and runs home to see that his family has been beaten up by the pigs and the eggs are gone. After rescuing them, he brings the eggs on vacation with him.
** In ''The Angry Birds Movie'', he's the only bird who is suspicious of the newly arriving pigs, thinking they have ulterior motives for coming to their island.
* PerpetualFrowner: He's not as bad as Terence, as he does smile sometimes, but his default expression is often this.
%%* PragmaticHero
* RedIsHeroic: Literally, considering his name.
* RedIsViolent: Given his uncontrollable temper, it's no surprise that he's qualify as this.
* {{Roboteching}}: In the "Red's Mighty Feathers" episode of the first game, he gains the ability to pivot in midair to hit pigs from any angle.
%%* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Manly bird to Chuck's sensitive fowl.
* SeriesMascot: Whenever you think of ''Angry Birds'', this guy comes first to mind.
* ShipTease: With Stella, despite implicated age-gaps between the two birds and formerly having a DistaffCounterpart of his own from ''Seasons'' to pair off with. However, ''WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie2'' has an AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul, as Red is paired with Silver.
* TheStoic: Downplayed. In the movie, he rarely laughs or cries. This also correlates with him being a grumpy bird.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: To Terence, who is essentially a gigantic, silent version of him with faded red feathers.
* SuperScream: In "Angry Birds 2", he gains the special ability to let loose a battle cry that topples pig buildings.
* TookALevelInBadass: Although he usually has no special abilities, he did gain one on two occasions. In "Red's Mighty Feathers", he acquired some of the Mighty Eagle's feathers, giving him the ability to fly in any direction in a straight line. In ''Angry Birds 2'', he can unleash a sonic wave with his war cry, which will push over buildings.
* TookALevelInIdealism: In "The Angry Birds Movie", he is usually the cynical one out of the entire community. But later in the film, he became less of a pessimist and more of an optimist after the eggs were stolen by the pigs.
* TheUnfettered: Whenever his eggs get stolen by the pigs, he will stop at ''nothing'' to get them back and the most persistent one at that.
* VocalEvolution: With his voice usually being constantly high-pitched, Antti Pääkkönen using a more deeper voice for movie version of Red in animated short and games (mostly notable in ''Angry Birds [=MakerSpace=]'' series & ''Angry Birds Pop Blast''), almost sounding similar to Jason Sudeikis' performance in the movies. He reigned back the high pitch for the game version of the character, but there's still a bit of deep voice on occasion.
* WolverinePublicity: Even taking this literally [[PlayedForLaughs for laughs]] when his appearance in ''Space'' resembles Wolverine closely.

Jay, Jake, and Jim, also collectively known as The Blues, are identical characters in the Angry Birds series. Ever since their first appearance in Poached Eggs, they've appeared in numerous installments of the series as main characters. Quick, creative and inventive. The Blues are launched as a single bird, and split into three when the screen is tapped. Although mostly weak, the Blues do wonders against ice.
----
* AgeLift: They're much younger and more looked like a little hatchling in the movie continuity, similar to Luca from ''Angry Birds Stella'' series due to [[spoiler:being recently hatched at the end of the first movie after Red saved their egg.]]
* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance: They're colored blue, and the material they work best on is ice.
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Out of the first 5 main birds in the flock, The Blues are naturally the only kids there, which is even more apparent in the movie continuity, where they hatch near the end of the first movie.
* BadassAdorable: They're essentially the youngest birds of the flock, yet still capable to beat up the pigs just like the other birds.
* BluebirdOfHappiness: They are blue birds, and one of the happiest ones on the flock.
* BlueIsHeroic: All three are blue, and are opposed to the pigs taking their eggs.
* BrattyHalfPint: Let's just say that they have quite a rather rebellious nature on occasions.
* BrilliantButLazy: They usually spend their free time napping or goofing off, but can clear the obstacle course Chuck set up better than he could, and can beat down pigs as much as the adult birds when they have to.
* ADayInTheLimelight: As a mini-series to the movie's universe, they star in their own show, ''Angry Birds Blues''.
* DecompositeCharacter: A strange example--early on in the series, only one member of the Blues was ever seen at a time, implying they were a single bird who could split into three. Later on, it was clarified that they were three separate individuals who simply clung to each other in mid-flight.
* GeniusDitz: They're much more goofy and playful than the other birds due to being the youngest, but they also come up with the most creative ways of defeating the pigs in the cartoon.
* {{Kid Appeal Character}}s: A trio of hotheaded ankle biters.
* InexplicablyIdenticalIndividuals: They looked exactly the same, down to their very personality. The movie downplays this by giving different eye-colors for each Blue.
* {{The Lancer}}s: In most of their game appearances. Justified that in earlier games, they are the second birds to be introduced, following Red himself.
** In ''Angry Birds Transformers'', they even play the role of Prowl, who is also a second-in-command of the Generation 1 Autobots.
** Downplayed in ''Angry Birds Toons'', where they [[DemotedToExtra function as]] {{Tagalong Kid}}s.
* ThePrankster: They love to pull out pranks towards the pigs, and even to the other birds sometimes.
* PunnyName: One of the triplets is named Jay (as in ''blue jay''), with the other two following ThemeTwinNaming.
* SameSexTriplets: They're triplets, and they're all male.
* SiblingTeam: Whenever they confront the pigs, they always fight as a trio, never single.
* SituationalSword: The Blues are only good at breaking through glass/ice, and are fairly weak against other types of obstacles.
* SpreadShot: Launched as a single bird that splits into three when the screen is tapped.
* ThemeTwinNaming: Theme Triplet Naming: '''J'''ay, '''J'''ake and '''J'''im.
* TotemPoleTrench: In ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic,'' they all share one costume. May or may not be an actual trenchcoat.

[[caption-width-right:198:'''Fast & Furious''']]

Chuck is the deuteragonist of the Angry Birds series. His special ability basically makes him a [[SuperSpeed super fast]] canary that can ignore the laws of physics. He's a very sporty and competitive bird, and is known to have a fragile ego. When the screen is tapped, he accelerates to a high speed. He works best against wood.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: In ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsSpace'', tapping the screen instead sends him directly to that point on the screen, a step up from merely increasing his speed alone.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: His rude and egotistical tendencies are greatly downplayed in the movie continuity.
* AmbiguouslyBi: In the movie, Chuck has an obvious gay crush on the Mighty Eagle (to the point of having an ImagineSpot where the Eagle is twerking in a Music/VillagePeople-like cowboy outfit before signing Chuck's bare chest) but, after [[spoiler:the piggies steal the eggs, he is quick to [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment suggestively suggest]] that the female birds should mate with him to replace the stolen eggs.]]
* ArtEvolution: Not as obvious as the other characters, but his head and tail feathers are a bit more unkempt in his ''Toons'' design. In the movies, his body is shaped more like a banana than a triangle in the games.
* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance: Chuck is good at destroying wood. Not only is his yellow color similar to that of the wood blocks, but his angular appearance gives the impression that he's cutting through them.
* BlackMage: Classed as a wizard in ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic''.
* ButtMonkey: Chuck's smugness and overconfidence often land him in awkward (and sometimes painful) situations.
%%* CatchPhrase: "Lili!" whenever he's about to launch from a slingshot. Sometimes, other birds would say this when idle.
* EarlyInstallmentCharacterDesignDifference: In cutscenes from older version of the original ''Angry Birds'', Chuck is a [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/angrybirds/images/7/77/ChuckUnusedDesign.png tiny yellow bird with yellow head feathers, black eyebrows, and a tail that resembles Red]].
* {{Expy}}: In his ''Space'' incarnation, he is wearing a red visor, apparently a tribute either to ComicBook/{{Cyclops}} or a [[Franchise/BattlestarGalactica Cylon Centurion]].
* FragileSpeedster: His ability makes him the fastest bird, but a glancing touch on an obstacle before he gets where you want him and he's wasted.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Due to his ego and prones to cause trouble, Chuck is occasionally disliked by the other birds because of it. It gets to the point that he kicked out from the flock once in "Chucked Out" episode of ''Toons'' until he swoops back in to save the day when he pigs stole the eggs again. His later incarnations mostly tends to avert this however.
* GravitySucks: His ability also zigzags the trope in ''Space''. Gravity affects him as long as he's just flying or after he hits something, but his speed boost makes him immune to gravity.
* HotBlooded: Not as much as Red or Bomb, but he's very loud and hyperactive, and quite passionate about sports.
* IronicFear: "Thunder Chuck" episode of ''Toons'' established Chuck's FearOfThunder, yet some games has him capable of using the ability to attack with lightning just fine.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Due to being the fastest bird, Chuck is very arrogant and egoistical about his achievements and skills.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: In the animated shorts, Chuck is often depicted as a smug, selfish and arrogant egomaniac which sometimes bites him in the end. Despite his flaws, though, he genuinely cares about his friends and the safety of the eggs.
* {{Keet}}: In the movie, he is always cheerful and enthusiastic.
* TheLancer: Often serves this to Red from ''Angry Birds Toons'' onward.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: The Feminine Boy to Matilda's Masculine Girl, at least in the early games.
* MeaningfulName: Chuck works best against wood. Hence, "[[{{Pun}} woodchuck]]".
** Or alternatively, his speed increase is akin to "chucking", a term for throwing something at a fast speed.
* MoodSwinger: In the movie, Chuck's attitude can move from ecstatic to sad to sensual back to ecstatic in a single scene, throwing his fellow birds off.
* MotorMouth: Running is not the only thing he does fast in the film version.
* {{Narcissist}}: If his ego doesn't give it away, he's often enjoy looking at the mirror to admire himself.
* NiceMeanAndInbetween: He's In-Between to Red's "Mean" and Bomb's "Nice" due to being more easy-going and friendly, but has a huge ego and can be quite a {{Jerkass}}.
* PaletteSwap: He's purple in ''Space''. Everywhere else, he's traditionally yellow.
* PluckyComicRelief: Usually depicted as cheerful, friendly and the resident jokester.
* {{Pride}}: Chuck has quite an ego as he loves to show off his speed & skills which is associated with his {{Jerkass}} behavior and always full of himself. With that being said, he still a good guy who cares about his friends and willing to help whenever it need.
* {{Roboteching}}: He can change direction in midair in ''Space''.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: The Sensitive Fowl to Red's Manly Bird, being more hyperactive and emotional than the more serious Red.
* SituationalSword: He's most effective when breaking through wood.
* SmugSuper: Chuck is always so confident in front of the obstacles and danger he's facing against, he could rival the likes of Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog.
* TheSpeedster: Chuck's special ability is to speed up to up to 100 miles per hour (160.934 kilometers per hour). In both the ''Angry Birds Toons'' and film, he's fast enough to enter [[BulletTime "Chuck Time"]].
* TimeMaster: In ''WesternAnimation/AngryBirdsToons'', he has a headband that allows him to slow down time. So far it has only appeared in three episodes: "Chuck Time", "Thunder Chuck", and "The Bird Who Cried Pig".
** This ability may be a [[ShoutOut reference]] to [[Characters/GoseiSentaiDairanger Kirin Ranger]].
** He has the ability to briefly slow time for the other racers in ''Angry Birds Go!'', making him one of the most useful characters in the game. For other racers, this has the appearance of him blasting across the track at hyper speed.
* VerbalTic: From ''Angry Birds Toons'' onwards, Chuck is commonly heard making short, quick clicking sounds whenever he shows off.
* VitriolicBestBuds: He has a rivalry with Bomb due to his ego, but they still care about each other at the end of the day. In the movie, the two are depicted as {{Those Two Guys}} instead.

[[caption-width-right:250:'''I’m the bomb!''']]

Bomb (also known as Bomb Bird or Black Bird) is the tritagonist of the Angry Birds series. Sociable and exciting, he loves being the center of attention and entertaining people with his antics. Once Bomb hits a surface, he will turn red for a few seconds before exploding. He can also be detonated early by tapping the screen. He's useful for destroying those tough stone blocks.
----
* ActionBomb: Bomb's main ability is to blow himself up, devastating pigs and structures around him.
* AdaptationalDumbass: Becomes much more naive and dimwitted in the movie compared to other material.
* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance: He's an ActionBomb who just so happens to look just like a CartoonBomb. His dark color also indicates that he's good at destroying stone.
* BigFun: He's the biggest bird in the flock (after Terence), and also the guy you can count on if you want to have a good time. This is the very reason The Blues idolized him as they always look up to him.
* TheBigGuy: Whenever Terence is not around.
* BlessedWithSuck: As powerful and cool his explosion power is, Bomb can't quite control it properly as he tends to randomly explode depending on his mood or when he surprised.
* BoisterousBruiser: In the animated series, he's probably one of the most enthusiastic birds.
* CartoonBomb: His design is meant to invoke this trope. In the movies and ''Summer Madness'', the feather on his head sparks like a fuse when he's about to explode.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite being a black bird, he's one of the playable heroes.
* EarlyInstallmentCharacterDesignDifference: In his early appearance, he has a white dot on his forehead until it removed in the later games, including later versions of the original.
** In an ''even earlier'' appearance, on the 2009 loading screen of the first game, Bomb is depicted as [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/angrybirds/images/c/c8/AngryBirdsScreen.jpeg a large grey bird with stitches on his forehead]].
* EleventhHourSuperpower: In the "Short Fuse" episode of the first game, which is the final numbered episode, he gains a powerful electrical upgrade to his bomb blast.
* EmotionalPowers: His explosive ability tied with his emotions. Thus, Bomb tends to explode depending on the mood he's currently in without his control, espectially anger.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Despite his hatred for pigs, he stands up for a minion pig when the other pigs bully him in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3TGX9PYbYI this anti-bullying video]].
* GentleGiant: He is the biggest member of the main cast barring Terence, as well as the [[NiceGuy nicest]].
* HairTriggerTemper: Tends to have this. He blows up even when his ice cream melts!
* HavingABlast: His main ability is to blow himself up.
* InformedAbility: The manual mentions him being TheStrategist and TheSmartGuy, but it rarely to never brought up aside of one moment in ''Toons'' where he tricked Corporal Pig into falling in love with an exploding bomb disguised as female pig.
* JustHereForTheFreeSnacks: He says he joined Matilda's anger management classes for the snacks.
* MeaningfulName: Guess what his name means.
* NiceMeanAndInbetween: Between himself, Red, and Chuck, Bomb is easily the "Nice" one due to being more chill and lack any sense of {{Jerkass}} that the other two has.
* NiceGuy: He is always polite and friendly to others and his explosion problem is completely out of his control, as well generally being the most chill bird of the main flock.
* NonFatalExplosions: Despite being a bird who can make himself explode, he always appears as if nothing happened.
* PowerIncontinence: He almost have no control over his explosive power and has a knack to accidentally blow up everything around him.
* PreExplosionGlow: When he glows, take cover!
* RealMenWearPink: Enjoys drinking herbal teas and raking sand in his Zen garden. They actually serve as calming methods due to his HairTriggerTemper.
* SituationalSword: {{Downplayed}}. He's most effective when breaking through stone, but is still perfectly capable of blowing up the other materials the pigs use as cover.
%%* TheSmartGuy: Of the GeniusBruiser variety.
* SupremeChef: In the comics, he seems to be this. Though he uses "new-age" cooking techniques, which none of the birds understand or like.
* TakingYouWithMe: His main shtick when dealing with the pigs. Because he's a bomb in bird form, whatever is in range gets blown up, too.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: He often seen eating ice cream to cool himself off.
* VitriolicBestBuds: He has a rivalry with Chuck due to his short temper, but they still care about each other at the end of the day. In the movie, the two are depicted as {{Those Two Guys}} instead.

Matilda (also known as the White Bird, Egg Bird, Egg Beater Bird or Egg Bomber Bird) is the secondary tritagonist in the Angry Birds series. The leader of the Anger Management Class on Bird Island, a very kind and motherly chicken. Tapping the screen causes Matilda to drop an explosive egg, then fly upward at an angle.
----
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: In the games, she lays exploding eggs; in the movie, she shoots fireballs out of her butt.
* AmbiguousGender: Some fans had been mistaking her as a male. Averted with her ''[[WesternAnimation/AngryBirdsToons Toons]]'' design which gave her TertiarySexualCharacteristics to make her unambiguously female, which was carried over to the games starting with ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsGo''.
* ArtEvolution: One of the bigger design changes among the characters, Matilda's ''Toons'' design gives her eyelashes, [[BlushSticker pink blush]] instead of yellow, and closer eyes. Elements of this design would be reworked on in the movies.
* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance: Matilda has the ability to lay explosive eggs, and is also shaped like an egg. Bizarrely, in early versions of the game Matilda "deflated" after dropping her egg, implying that the egg itself was what was giving her shape.
* BerserkButton: "Cordon Bleugh!" reveals that she does not like having her cooking mocked or ridiculed. [[spoiler:When a bunch of pigs who just tried to steal the eggs taste her soup and make no effort to hide how much they ''love'' it, Matilda is so overjoyed to see someone enjoying her cooking that she decides not to give them the beating she was about to unleash and simply bounces away happily.]]
* BadassAdorable: Matilda looks pretty cute, but don't make her angry or steal the eggs, or she will shoot you with her egg bomb.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Matilda is the TechnicalPacifist of the flock and one of the nicer bird, even the pigs seems to like her on occasion. That said, when being provoked, she's outright ''terrifying'' to the point of scaring other birds sometimes, including Red.
* BlushSticker: Sports really noticeable ones.
* TheBusCameBack: Reincarnated as C-3PO in the ''Franchise/StarWars'' installment of the series. She has appeared in most games since.
* CharacterizationMarchesOn:
** From animated shorts onwards, she appears more feminine than her original masculine image in the earlier games.
** In ''WesternAnimation/AngryBirdsToons'', she's initially portrayed as LethalChef where the other birds can't stand her cooking, but her later appearance has her capable to cook just fine. In fact, episodes like "Eating Out" indicates that the birds can't eat without her cooking.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: She has strangely been left out of ''Space''. She's also always absent in the trailers, with the reason of her lack of appearances unknown. Bonus points for being [[PutOnABus put on a nest]].
* DeathFromAbove: By dropping an exploding egg, launching herself upward at an angle.
* GirlyGirlWithATomboyStreak: Matilda, starting from the ''Toons'' series, is given a GirlinessUpgrade in the form of [[TertiarySexualCharacteristics some pink accents on her body]] to look a bit more like a girly bird; she is the TeamMom of the Flock and enjoys gardening. However, she's also an [[PassionateSportsGirl avid ice hockey fan]] who can kick butt both on the rink and in a fight, and while she doesn't like her cooking being insulted, she's initially portrayed as LethalChef as far as the birds are concerned.
* GranolaGirl: She is depicted as this type of character in the movie.
* LethalChef: While she can cooks just fine in her later appearance, her cooking in "Cordon Bleugh!" episode is deeply loathed by the other birds, and is so ''terrible'' that it [[ThatPoorPlant can kill plants]]. Averted with the pigs, who think she's a SupremeChef.
* LightIsGood: A white bird and one of the playable heroes.
* MamaBear: Is just as protective towards the eggs as the other birds.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: The Masculine Girl to Chuck's Feminine Boy, at least in the early games.
* NiceGirl: She's always calm, gentle and caring, [[BewareTheNiceOnes unless pushed too far]].
* NewAgeRetroHippie: She doesn't look like one, but she holds the same values of pacifism and ecological harmony as stereotypical hippies, and her vision of the eggs in "Egg Sounds" are more blatantly obvious ones.
* PassionateSportsGirl: She is shown to be obsessed with ice hockey in the ''Toons'' episode "Cold Justice".
* {{Projeggtile}}: Matilda attacks by laying an exploding egg.
* SamusIsAGirl: Many fans did not realize that she was a girl in the early games.
* SirNotAppearingInThisTrailer: She never appears in any ''Angry Birds'' video trailer, and her only prominent appearance was in a Chinese cross promotion for Coca Cola and the summer Olympic games.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Of the tomboyish OneOfTheBoys variety. Averted when Stella joins the flock.
* StaffChick: Classed as a Healer in ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic''.
* TeamMom: In the 'Meet the Flock' video for Angry Birds Toons, she is depicted as more obviously female and performs tasks like serving food to the other birds. Bonus points for being the tallest of the main five birds in the flock.
* TechnicalPacifist: She isn't as confrontational as the other Angry Birds, but she still fights the pigs when they try to steal the eggs. In ''The Movie'', she's an anger management therapist.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: Her ability is to drop an exploding egg straight down.

[[caption-width-right:212:'''Boooomerang!!''']]

Hal (also known as the Boomerang Bird) is a character in the Angry Birds series and was the first new character added who was not one of the original five birds in the flock. Understanding and sociable, Hal makes his voice heard but is also a great listener. When the screen is tapped, Hal loops his trajectory around like a boomerang, allowing him to hit structures from behind.
----
* AdaptationalDumbass: In the ''Angry Birds Transformers'' comic adaptation his otherwise fair intelligence is completely gone after being transformed by the Eggspark, replaced with Grimlock's broken speech and relative stupidity.
* AdaptationalVillainy: In ''Angry Birds Transformers'' one of the forms Hal takes is Trypticon[[note]]A ginormous Decepticon who is the counterpart to the Autobot Metroplex.[[/note]], and if he does take this form he'll fittingly side with the Deceptihogs. While likely only done due to Trypticon's similarities to Grimlock it nonetheless marks Hal's first and only appearance as a villain.
* BattleBoomerang: [[IAmTheNoun He]] '''[[IAmTheNoun is]]''' [[IAmTheNoun the boomerang]], in this case. His boss race in ''Angry Birds Go!'' also has him throw boomerangs behind him when he gets ahead of you.
* BigGuyLittleGuy: In "The Big Setup" episode of the original ''Angry Birds'', he fights alongside Terence for most of the episode, serving as the "little guy". Hal doesn't have the brute strength of Terence, but makes up for it with his boomeranging ability.
* BreathWeapon: In Angry Birds Transformers, rather than using an arm cannon, he fires projectiles from his beak.
* CheatedAngle: Whenever Hal faces the front, his eyes shift from the sides of his head to the front.
** In the ''Summer Pignic'' cinematic trailer, his eyes are on only one side of his head, and they switch sides when he turns around.
* CheshireCatGrin: [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/angrybirds/images/9/93/Hal2.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/327?cb=20190408192811 This picture]] completely says it all at one point.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: In the above-mentioned trailer. He's an eager and well-meaning [[TheKlutz Klutz]] who accidentally screws things up for the other birds, but in the end, he singlewingedly saves the eggs from the pigs.
* DemotedToExtra: He has had the least appearances out of all the birds (i.e. being included in a few T-shirts and such, and not appearing at all in ''WesternAnimation/AngryBirdsToons''). Subverted in the second movie, where Hal is the only bird who wasn't initially in ''Angry Birds 2'' the video game to have any lines and dedicated screen time in the ''Angry Birds 2'' the movie. Bubbles and Stella, the other birds initially absent from ''Angry Birds 2'' the game, have their most prominent appearance on a picture Red has in his house of all the birds from the mainline games celebrating him, with Stella's only two additional appearances being extremely brief silent cameos at the beginning and end, while Bubbles doesn't appear physically at all.
** In the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tjl9tg9smgc one trailer]] he '''has''' shown up in, he's portrayed as a BlackSheep, when he accidentally bumps into the slingshot, knocks a bird of course, and sheepishly tries to apologize to Red.
* DependingOnTheArtist: [[https://i.redd.it/w0qsgh48pn171.jpg He's gotten the most redesigns out of any character in the series]]. Even when drawn in the ''Toons'' art style, he has three different designs for ''Angry Birds Go!'', ''Angry Birds Friends'', and ''Angry Birds 2''.
* DependingOnTheWriter: In most media such as the comics, Hal is shown as a very mature character with have a deep love for the pleasures in life. In some media like the "Summer Pignic" cinematic trailer, he is portrayed as TheKlutz who strives hard to join Red's battles against the pigs.
* DifficultButAwesome: Especially apparent in ''Angry Birds 2'' where the damage he does when he boomerangs is directly based on how much momentum he is able to gain before hitting his target. He's hard to aim, but line him up just right and he can shred through the entire level and still have enough momentum to spin to the other end of the screen. If done perfectly he can even outclass Terence in raw destruction.
* DistressedDude: He first appears trapped in a cage in "Danger Above", and becomes playable after completing the level. He's kidnapped again in "The Big Setup" (along with the other birds), but is rescued by Terence early on, teaming up with him to take down the pigs.
* GagNose: His bill. It's even larger than his body!
* TheKlutz: In the "Summer Pignic" short film, he knocks down the slingshot because of his long beak.
* LightningBruiser: He travels faster if the direction of his flight path gets reversed.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: In most of his appearances, he has a noticably longer slingshot distance compared to every other bird, which complements his ability very well.
* NiceGuy: His few appearances in media outside the games typically peg him as easygoing and friendly.
* PokemonSpeak: In older versions of the original game, if you listen closely enough, he will say "Angrrry.... Birrrd!" when fired from the slingshot. In later versions of the original, he can be heard saying "Ha-a-a-l!" instead though.
* PrecisionGuidedBoomerang: After reaching the destined point, Hal will make his way back. This can be used to destroy more obstacles on the way.
* SignatureInstrument: Although never shown physically in the games, Hal is known to love playing his banjo, mentioned and seen in promotional material such as the comics.
* SmarterThanYouLook: He isn't taken as seriously as the other birds due to his klutzy behaviour and massive beak, but he's no idiot by any means, as is just as intelligent, if not more so than the other birds in the flock.
* SpectacularSpinning: Being effectively a living BattleBoomerang, he constantly spins around while in flight. Many of his appearances outside of the slingshot games give him other spinning-related abilities.
* SwissArmySuperpower: Although he mostly uses it to turn into a boomerang, one comic revealed that his giant bill can be used for other purposes, such as a bridge, an umbrella, or a boat.
* TeamPet: As Grimlock in ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsTransformers''.
* TechnicalPacifist: He doesn't like to get involved with the war between the birds and the pigs but he's not above bashing pigs with his beak if he needs to.
* ThisLooksLikeAJobForAquaman: He mostly appears in levels and games that require attacking the pigs from behind.
* TornadoMove: His special ability in ''Angry Birds Go!'' is to summon a tornado that moves along the track.
* VocalEvolution: His voice in the original games was high-pitched and youthful, but became very deep and raspy (and somewhat akin to the likes of [[WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents Mr. Crocker]]) in ''Angry Birds Go!'', and then later again became high-pitched and (appropriately) nasally in ''Angry Birds 2''.
* WiseBeyondHisYears: Stated verbatim in his classic-verse description on the official Angry Birds website.

Terence, also known as [[InconsistentSpelling Terrence]], Fat Bird, Big Bird, Big Red Bird, Big Brother Bird, or Wrecking Ball Bird is a large red bird and a member of the Flock. He is the strong, silent, logical type. Like Red, he doesn't have a special ability; however, his incredible size and strength more than makes up for it.
----
* {{Acrofatic}}: Sort of, but he can teleport.
* AdaptationalHeroism: He is far more willing to help the birds in the movie.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: In the movies, Terence isn't afraid to display any emotions whatsoever.
* TheAloner: Despite being a part of the main flock, he frequently isolates himself. In a promotional image for ''Angry Birds Toons'', he can be seen standing far off to the side while the other birds gather around their eggs.
* AntiHero: He is depicted as an antisocial, bitter, and miserable bird who loathes the rest of the birds, especially Chuck, whom he absolutely detests, even though he sometimes helps the flock in defending the eggs and is frequently their last and most successful line of defense.
* ArtEvolution: His face is smaller in ''Angry Birds Toons'', and he is made significantly larger than his classic appearances, likely to make him more threatening.
* BewareTheQuietOnes: He doesn't speak much, but actions speak louder than words...
* BigBrotherInstinct: Mainly towards Red, but also the other birds.
%%* BigBrotherMentor
* BigDamnHeroes: How he makes his debut. In the "The Big Setup" episode of the first game, the flock is locked up and the pigs have the eggs, and there's seemingly nothing that can save the eggs until Terence reveals himself.
%%* BigEater: As stated in his bio in the Angry Birds official website.
* TheBigGuy: Most likely. He's the biggest bird in the flock.
* BigGuyLittleGuy: In "The Big Setup" episode of the original ''Angry Birds'', he fights alongside Hal for most of the episode, serving as the "big guy". Terence doesn't have the agility of Hal, but his brute strength proves an effective weapon against the pigs.
* BigOlEyebrows: Just like Red.
* TheComicallySerious: His rather overly stoic tendency to the point of ignoring common sense can come across funny on many occasions.
** In the Angry Birds Christmas comics, where he dresses up as Santa Claus and carries a sign saying "Ho ho ho!" with him.
** In the animated short "Gardening with Terence", he is made into a flower garden by Matilda after refusing to budge multiple times.
* DeathGlare: His default expression, especially when it's applied to pigs.
* TheDreaded: His presence alone invokes this to the pigs. With that being said, it doesn't stop him from giving them a Christmas present however. He also sort of has this effect on the other birds, who feel kind of awkward and intimidated around him.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: More like Establishing Character Arc: He shows up in the first game’s DarkestHour "The Big Setup", where the pigs have actually gotten smarter and captured all the birds, as well as rebuilding all the destroyed structures the birds previously smashed. Then Terence promptly shows up and spends the entire chapter, along with Hal who he rescues at one point, destroying the pigs' structures while simultaneously taking them down once again ''[[OneManArmy almost all by himself]]''. No wonder the pigs consider him TheDreaded!
* GentleGiant: Despite his imposing figure, he genuinely wants to help the birds protect the eggs from the pigs.
* GivenNameReveal: Terence was the first bird to have his name revealed during the 2013 Christmas comic.
* HeWhoMustNotBeHeard: Well, he doesn't speak. No, not even in the comics or movie, where the other birds are SuddenlyVoiced. [[spoiler: Although, he suddenly sings ''Mighty Red Song'' along with the Hatchlings in The Movie once]].
* HulkMashUp: ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsSpace'' redesigns him with a green coloration to compliment his SuperStrength and his incredible size.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: With Matilda in the movie.
* TheJuggernaut: Terence himself is already a {{downplayed}} example, being very hard to stop once he's thrown, but his Wingman incarnation in ''Friends'' is even more powerful.
* MadeOfIron: His huge body alone allows him to plow through the toughest pigs' defences. He also able to survive having a giant boulder thrown at him and being blown up with dynamite in "Gardening with Terence" episode of ''Toons''.
* MightyGlacier: He travels slowly when defying gravity. This makes up for his very hard-hitting brute force. Averted in ''Toons''; he teleports.
* NoodleIncident: In ''The Angry Birds Movie'', what Terence did to get assigned to anger management class is never made clear. We just see Matilda staring at him in gobsmacked horror, whilst the background music changes to police sirens... [[NothingIsScarier and screaming women]]. We get another hint when Matilda learns that Terence is driving their getaway truck, she advises everyone to buckle up and emphasizes this with a "''Trust me!''" This implies that part of the reason was that he DrivesLikeCrazy.
* NoSocialSkills: Keeps himself apart from the other birds and finds it hard to socialize with them.
* NotSoStoic: Despite his overly stoic face, he does crack a tiny smile on rare occasions. More significantly, [[https://angrybirds.fandom.com/wiki/Terence/Gallery?file=MightyEagle-1024x1024.jpg an early promotional poster]] shows him ''cowering in fear'' before [[TheDreaded the Mighty Eagle]].
* OffscreenTeleportation: Bizzarely enough, this is how Terence normally move from place to place as he rarely move a muscle by default. It's downplayed in the movie where he can move normally like the other birds, but doesn't stop him from doing this regardless.
* OneManArmy: In "The Big Setup", up until the point where he rescues Hal, Terence spends nearly the entire episode obliterating the pigs on his own. Heck, a few levels only give you ''one'' Terence to beat the level with, as if the game was trying to show you just how overpowered Terence is.
* PaletteSwap:
** He was green in ''Space''. Everywhere else, he's traditionally red... [[ShapedLikeItself like Red himself]].
** His cousin, Tony, looks like a light blue, fluffier Terence.
* PerpetualFrowner: You can count the smiles he makes with one hand.
* TheQuietOne: Generally speaking, Terence almost never speaks as he only makes barely-audible moaning sounds.
* SixthRanger: Out of all birds who were added after the original flock, Terence is the only one who played a major role in the movie, appeared in ''Angry Birds Toons'' outside of holiday specials, and the only one aside from Silver to not be an extra bird in ''Angry Birds 2''.
* TheSpeechless: Even in the other adaptations where the other birds are SuddenlySpeaking, Terence remain mute and retain his grunting noise.
* TheSpook: ''Nothing'' is explicitly clear about Terence as a whole, which adding factor of his status as TheDreaded. And to top it all off, the manual mentioned that "Terence" is not even his real name.
* StealthHiBye: In "Run Chuck Run", he seems to constantly get ahead of Chuck without even having seemed to move. Even when Chuck is near the finish line with none of the other racers in sight, he manages to cross it before Chuck realizes it.
* TheStoic: Even moreso than Red, and is capable of only ONE expression.
* StoutStrength: Good luck trying to get him to move.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: To Red. He also has a cousin named Tony from ''Angry Birds Seasons'' [[PaletteSwap who is basically a light blue Terence with a more feathery body]].
* TerrorHero: He doesn't even have to fight the pigs directly, with his mere presence being enough to scare them away.
* TranquilFury: Unlike Red, who is a screaming feathery ball of fury, Terence never loses his stoic expression, even while fighting the pigs.
* {{Troll}}: He's [[NotSoStoic not entirely above pulling some shenanigans,]] such as pretending to be asleep to mess with some pigs, or giving Chuck [[{{Pun}} a run]] for his money.
* UnrelatedInTheAdaptation: In the games and ''Angry Birds Toons'', he is Red's older brother, but there is no indication of that in the movies.
* UnskilledButStrong: He doesn't have a special ability like the other birds and essensially just a larger Red, but makes up for it with his brute strength.
* VoiceGrunting: The only "dialogue" he has is him giving a deep rumbling "hmmmm". [[spoiler:Although he did sing one time in the movie.]]
* WhenHeSmiles: Terence is largely TheStoic and rarely show any emotions. But when he shows a smile, it's always a sweet one.

Bubbles is a character in the Angry Birds franchise who first appeared in Halloween. Quiet but friendly, always happy to pitch in and help. Has an obssession with candy. His ability works similar to Bomb's; however, instead of exploding, he inflates to a massive size.
----
* AgeLift: He is either a teenager or a young adult in the movie.
* BadassAdorable: Alongside the Blues, he's one of the youngest birds, but capable to defeat the pigs on his own, thanks to his ballooning ability.
* BerserkButton: As revealed in the ''Ham'o'ween'' short, don't eat his candy. King Pig learned the hard way.
* BigEater: He ''loves'' eating candy.
* TheDogWasTheMastermind: [[spoiler:The main conflict of the Ham'o'ween episodes in ''Reloaded'' is the theft of the Blues' Halloween candy by some Pigs. The outro of the second episode (Episode 20) implies Bubbles was the one responsable for the candy theft to begin with.]]
* InflatingBodyGag: His ability is to inflate to a massive size.
* IOweYouMyLife: The "Ham'o'ween" trailer shows that he first met the flock after The Blues rescued him from being eaten (accidentally) by King Pig.
* KidAppealCharacter: Even more so than the Blues, based on the fact he's a SweetTooth TagalongKid.
* LightningBruiser: Of the PintsizedPowerhouse variety. He's fast (somewhere between Red's normal speed and Chuck's fast speed), packs a surprising punch for his size (he can easily smash through wood ''and'' ice), and his ballooning ability can cause a lot of damage if used properly.
* MeaningfulName: His special ability is to balloon to a larger size, much like a bubble.
* PaperTiger: {{Subverted}}. Bubbles' inflated form is gigantic, but isn't any stronger than his small form; if anything, he's actually weaker. Instead of attacking the level head-on with his large form, the intended use is to have him break into the core of a building and disrupt it from within.
* PerpetualSmiler: His default expression is a cheerful smile (or as close to one as a beak can get).
* PopGoesTheHuman: In ''Angry Birds 2'', he bursts instead of deflating, dealing a small level of knockback to anything close enough.
* SweetTooth:
** Every trailer he's been in involves him eating candy.
** In the games, he doesn't appear until a [[LevelAte candy level]] is released.
** His only appearances in ''Angry Birds Toons'' are the Halloween episodes.
* TagalongKid: He joined the flock late in the series, and mostly just comes along when there's candy involved.
* TemptingFate: In the second Halloween special, [[spoiler:he ate the candy that turns anyone into a kraken monster]].
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Candy, obviously.
* VibrantOrange: Has orange feathers and is one of the most innocent and energetic members of the flock.

[[caption-width-right:313:"You guys don't lay eggs?"]]
A DistaffCounterpart to Red, Stella leads her own flock on an island.
----
* ActionGirl: She played this role in her introduction video. Preferably a GirlyBruiser type.
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: The movie version of her makes her much more attractive.
* AllLovingHero: She is stated to be very forgiving even towards her former friend Gale, who is now Queen of the pigs. In the ''Angry Birds Stella'' episode "New Day", she lets a group of pigs sleep in her flock's house.
* AmbiguouslyGay: In the April Fools' ''Agri Birds'' trailer, she confesses her love to Gale, but since that was an April Fools' joke[[note]]Agri Birds was supposed to be a real game, but if it did come out it probably would have been more of a joke game.[[/note]], it's debatable how canon the confession is. Furthermore, in the second episode of the Angry Birds Stella cartoon, we see three pictures of Stella and Gale, one of them shows Stella kissing Gale.
%% * BerserkButton: Hers is being upstaged.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's always friendly, but still, don't push her too far, or she will explode!
* BreakoutCharacter: She is the main protagonist of her own game, ''Angry Birds Stella''. She also received her own show with [[WesternAnimation/AngryBirdsStella the same name]].
* BubbleGun: Her original power is to trap blocks and pigs in bubbles before dropping them.
* CharacterTic: Stella has a tendency to pump her right arm when speaking in the movie.
* FloatingInABubble: In most of her appearances, her power is weaponizing this trope by encasing herself and everything around her (including pigs) in bubbles. When she vanishes, so do the bubbles, [[GravityIsAHarshMistress allowing gravity to do the rest]].
* HotBlooded: Not as much as Red, but she's certainly the angriest bird when compared to the other birds on her flock.
* InnocentBlueEyes: She has a pair of blue eyes to denote her as TheHero of her flock.
* IronicFear: Gained [[AcrophobicBird a fear of flying]] at one point. Fortunately, Luca helped her overcome it.
* KidAppealCharacter: On the subject of "weak and lovable".
* TheLeader: Became one to ''her own'' flock in ''Stella''.
* LeParkour: As stated in the Angry Birds official website. Her special "WallJump" ability in Angry Birds Stella may border on CombatParkour.
* ParentalSubstitute: Towards Luca, with shades of CoolBigSis.
* PinkGirlBlueBoy: She's colored pink, while Luca (TheOneGuy in her own flock) is colored blue.
* PinkIsFeminine: She is colored pink, and she's a girl.
%%* PinkHeroine: Continuing the pink theme
* PluckyGirl: Is stated to be an optimist.
%%* TheSneakyGal
* StellarName: Stella means "star" in Latin.
%%* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Girly Bird to Matilda's tomboy. Also the Tomboy to Willow's Girly Bird.
* ValleyGirl: Speaks like one in ''The Angry Birds Movie''.
* VerbalTic: In the games & animated shorts, she likes to make a purring noise.
* WallJump: Her primary skill in ''Angry Birds Stella''.
* WeakButSkilled: In the classic games, Stella won't do much damage if thrown directly at an obstacle, but her BubbleGun ability can lift many objects and cause lots of destruction if used properly.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Is a former friend of Gale, who sided with the pigs after she found a crown.
* WhatMeasureIsAMook: Rather surprisingly, Stella is enraged at Gale when at her victory party, she turns a growing number of her pigs into gold, to show off. Only her friends stop her from going at Gale that instant.

Silver is a character in the Angry Birds series who was introduced as a new character for the Angry Birds 2. A dazzling young bird with a goofy sense of humor and incredible flying skills raised by the pigs. When the screen is tapped, she will fly in a loop before diving straight into the ground. Like Bomb, she's good at destroying stone.
----
* ActionGirl: She's a peregrine falcon, and a playable character since ''Angry Birds 2''. In gameplay, she's the ideal bird for smashing rocks (or woods in ''Angry Birds Reloaded'') easily and has a divebomb attack that loops downwards upon activation.
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: In the movie, she is cuter and has bigger eyes than her game counterpart.
* AdaptationalIntelligence: With the AlternateContinuity of the movies being in play and no longer raised by the pigs, Silver is notably [[TheSmartGuy the smart one]] of the bunch, providing plans and strategies for the team while still capable as an ActionGirl.
* AllThereInTheManual: According to supplementary material for ''Angry Birds 2'', she was raised by pigs. They were going to eat her egg, but she unexpectedly hatched in front of them, so they adopted her as their child. Her being raised by them is why she has pig-like teeth when she smiles.
* CloudCuckooLander: After being raised by the pigs, expect her to be just as goofy as them.
* CompositeCharacter: For her incarnation in ''Angry Birds Bubble Trouble'', her design and personality are closer to her original appearance while also having high intelligence like her movie counterpart.
* DeathFromAbove: Much like Poppy from ''Stella'', with more looping and less drills.
%%* GirlishPigtails: Her movie design has these.
* InterspeciesAdoption: [[AllThereInTheManual Her backstory]] consisted of her unexpectedly hatching while the pigs were about to cook her egg, and being subsequently adopted and raised by said pigs.
* {{Irony}}: Her ability of diving to the ground after doing a backwards loop was first done years ago by the Diveosaurus in the ''Angry Birds'' clone ''Videogame/TrucksAndSkulls''.
* ALizardNamedLiz: A silver bird named Silver.
* NaiveNewcomer: In "Angry Birds 2".
* NobleBirdOfPrey: She is based on the peregrine falcon.
* RaisedByOrcs: Well, pigs, and their nature (except for trying to eat eggs, of course) seems to have rubbed on her.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: In ''The Angry Birds Movie 2'', Silver and Chuck are siblings.
* RememberTheNewGuy: While her backstory is revealed through the mini-comic and manual, there's no explanation on how she winds up to Red's flock as if she has been there for a while.
* YouDontLookLikeYou: Both of her look and personality are ''way'' different in ''The Angry Birds Movie 2'' compared to her debut in ''Angry Birds 2''. The two designs being colored silver is [[InNameOnly the only similarity they have]].

Melody is a character in the Angry Birds series who was introduced as a new character for the Angry Birds 2. She's a laid-back bird with an affinity for singing. Tapping the screen causes her to suck up blocks, pigs, and most other destructible objects. Tapping the screen again causes her to spit them out towards whatever part of the screen was tapped.
----
* AllThereInTheManual: According to supplementary material for ''Angry Birds 2'', she was raised by her jazz-loving parents, inheriting their love for music. She came across pigs during her tours, and turned against them, joining the flock.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Her character bio reveals that she's a lot more easy-going than the other birds, although she can still get angry if pushed too far.
* BlackHoleBelly: She can eat any number of items, even if they take up more space than she does. This includes planks thrice as long as her and ''rockets''.
* MeaningfulName: Her name is "Melody", and she likes to sing.
* MusicalAssassin: Her inhaling ability is explained as her breathing in in preparation for a song.
* ObviousRulePatch: To prevent her from being able to cheese boss battles by spitting the boss off-screen, Melody cannot inhale boss pigs.
* ShoutOut: Her ability to inhale and spit out objects is nearly identical to Franchise/{{Kirby}}'s.
* SuperSpit: She can spit her inhaled items in any direction, with nearly unlimited range. Of course, how destructive they are depends on what materials she inhaled--stone and TNT tend to do more damage than ice, for example.
* VacuumMouth: The first part of her power involves inhaling nearby structures.

* KidAppealCharacter: An ankle biter.
* TheOneGuy: He's the only male bird in Stella's flock, much like how Matilda was originally [[SmurfettePrinciple the only female bird]] of the original ''Angry Birds'' flock until Stella came along.
* TagalongKid: He's younger than the rest of Stella's flock, and yet he participates in his friends' pig bashing.

* BerserkButton: Don't disturb her when she's in a creative mood.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: She likes to daydream and is sometimes not mentally attached to the real world.
* {{Expy}}: The DistaffCounterpart of Hal. Both are PrecisionGuidedBoomerang Birds, though she pulls it off much differently than Hal.
** This to an extent even extends to their personalities, as both are shown to be fond of nature and strongly dislike violence.
* AFriendInNeed: While the petrification spreading from Gale's use of the Golden Egg, Artist Pig petrified. Willow, instead of fleeing immediately, chooses not to just leave him and pushes him along back home.
* TheHeart: In Stella's flock.
* InterspeciesFriendship: Willow actually develops one with the Painter Pig. He's nowhere near as good an artist as Willow: but when Gale kidnaps Willow to paint Gale's portrait (her own painter not up to the task), Willow gives him encouragement and helps him improve. Willow does a professional job of Gale's portrait, while the Painter Pig does a second picture of her too. It's still grade school level, but an obvious improvement over his first which was a stickman painting. Gale doesn't care and breaks his paint brush. Willow responds by painting a pig nose on Gale's portrait before leaving and giving the painter pig her own paintbrush as a replacement.
* JackOfAllTrades: Not only a talented artist, but more than capable as a playwright, musician, and at least in the ''Angry Birds Movie'' is decently athletic and a very good singer.
* NeverBareheaded: She's never seen without her big toque.
* ScrewDestiny: Willow has a nightmare of the glen she painted, the animals there, and herself, turning to stone. When it begins to happen for real due to Gale's use of the Golden Egg, except to Artist Pig instead of her, Willow doesn't just stand around and let it happen to her.
* ShrinkingViolet: Has shades of this. The Angry Birds official website explicitly states that her shyness sometimes prevents her from expressing how she truly feels.
* SpeaksFluentAnimal: The Angry Birds official website states she can talk to animals.
* SpinAttack: Her power is turning on her side and rapidly spinning through blocks in one direction.
* TakenForGranite: This happens to Willow in a prophetic dream she has. She runs to the place she saw to find it alright, only for bits of stone fall and terrify her, and it turns out its just Artist Pig sculpting. Then the animal and the land begin to turn to stone for real, including Artist Pig as a result of Gale's use of the Golden Egg.
* TechnicalPacifist: Like Matilda from the original game, she isn't as confrontational as her friends, but she's willing to beat up any pig that threatens her home.

* BrainyBrunette: Her body is colored brown, and she's the smartest of Stella's flock.
* DiurnalNocturnalAnimal: If she's not inventing something overnight, she often hangs out with her friends in the daytime.
* {{Expy}}: The DistaffCounterpart of Bomb. Both birds has fuse-like feather on their head and an explosive ability to boot.
* FascinatingEyebrow: Often depicted with this, due to her inquisitive and experimental nature.
* GadgeteerGenius: She built a drum machine for Poppy after the latter drummed too heard and broke her drum kit.
* GeniusBruiser: Her teleports come with a somersault kick at the end.
* NotAsYouKnowThem: Dahlia may be a brainy girl alright, but ''WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie2'' passes the honor of such title to Silver. In that film, Dahlia, a student at Avian Academy, falls asleep, seemingly uninterested in Silver's new invention of Super String.
* TheOwlKnowingOne: She is stated to be a great horned owl. Also the most intelligent of Stella's flock.

The bad princess who wants to get her feathers on the Gold Egg.
----
* AdaptationalNiceGirl: Gale's a villain in the ''Stella'' web series, but that's not the case in ''WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie'' and its [[WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie2 sequel]], which appear to retcon out the spin-off's plot and setting.
* AmbiguouslyGay: In the April Fools' ''Agri Birds'' trailer, she accept Stella's love confession, but since that was an April Fools' joke[[note]]Agri Birds was supposed to be a real game, but if it did come out it probably would have been more of a joke game.[[/note]], it's debatable how canon the confession is. Furthermore, in the second episode of the Angry Birds Stella cartoon, we see three pictures of Stella and Gale, one of them shows Stella kissing Gale.
* AmbitionIsEvil: What prevents her from rejoining her former friends.
* AnimalGenderBender: Gale is stated to be a violet-backed starling, which is a species with ''very'' high sexual dimorphism, and it's ''male'' birds that have bright purple feathers (like Gale herself has) while females typically have dull feathers in real life.
* ArchEnemy: After declaring herself as the bad princess, she becomes this to Stella and her flock.
* AxCrazy: Once she gets the golden egg, she sees nothing wrong with turning multiple pig minions into gold just for irking her, and was ready to do the same to Stella.
* BadBoss: Even moreso than King Pig, as some of her mistreatment toward her minions are not PlayedForLaughs.
* BerserkButton: Don't ''wear'' a crown in her presences. Every time Gale sees anyone or anything else wearing a crown or something that might be similar to one, she almost instinctively attacks it.
* BigBad: She's the main villain Stella and her friends must face in ''Angry Birds Stella'' (until it was cancelled) and in their animated series.
* BreakTheHaughty: After finally getting her Golden Egg, turning some of her own minions to gold, and trying to turn ''Stella'' to gold. [[HoistByHerOwnPetard Gale gets turned to gold]], and against the advice of the birds, but the pleading of the pigs, Stella restores Gale. Gale for a moment is under the Golden Egg's spell, but then flees in terror of it, the experience clearly having had an effect on her.
* CompanionCube: Once she has the Golden Egg, Gale quickly begins to treat it like a beloved pet, setting it a seat at the table being the least weird thing she does.
* CoolCrown: Her crown allows her to rules the pigs and order them around. Without it, they would just ignore her.
* DisproportionateRetribution: The first pig Gale turns to gold with the Golden Egg was crying at seeing the tower Gale turned to gold fall into the volcano (and possibly some of the pigs working on it).
* DistaffCounterpart: Species differences otherwise, Gale is one to the King Pig.
* EquivalentExchange: Every time she turns something to gold with the golden egg, something on the island turns to stone. At first it's random, but then Gale seemingly learns how to direct it.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Her opening trailer has her throwing out a minion pig who was mocking her by wearing a poorly-made mask resembling her.
%%* EvilCounterpart: To Stella.
* EvilFormerFriend: A former friend of Stella's who sided with the pigs and became blinded by pride, power, and greed.
* EvilOverlooker: Some promotional art depict her as this, either looking down on the pigs she commands or on Stella's flock.
* EvilIsEasy: There are times it shows that Gale misses the rest of her flock, but her crown basically causes the pigs to obey her every whim and do whatever she wants. When she loses her crown, and is left a broken battered mess, Handsome Pig (the only pig who remains loyal to her without the crown), he takes her back to her flock where they nurse her back to health. It's obvious she's having a good time with them, 'like the good old days'. But the moment Handsome Pig finds her crown and returns it to her, she abandons them yet again.
* FaceHeelTurn: She used to be part of the flock until she found the pig crown and the power that came with it went to her head. The fact that she also a SpoiledBrat who used to order her friends around on occasion and wanted to be viewed as a higher up doesn't help either.
* FeatheredFiend: The first evil bird in the series.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: While she's on the good term with them, Gale's needs to be pampered around can come across as annoying by her friends at times. Even Stella, her dearest friend, can lose her patient with Gale because of it. This is likely another factor that leads to her FaceHeelTurn.
* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: Probably the same, if possibly worse than King Pig from the original series. Several collectible photos from Angry Birds Stella depict her using the pigs for her own amusement.
** This espectially prominent in the Stella series finale, see AxCrazy above.
* GoKartingWithBowser: Deconstructed slightly with Stella's birthday. Gale shows up uninvited, and brings a ton of party supplies and a gift (by her demented standards). She and her pigs actually have a genuinely a good time with the flock. But Gale is still jealous, covetous, and still has a HairTriggerTemper, which turns the party into a disaster the moment her trigger goes off. Stella is left in tears that night (She gets over it by taping over the humiliating picture Gale gave her with a picture of them just having fun at the party).
* HighCollarOfDoom: More jarring because she doesn't have a cape... or, you know, a body. However, she didn't have one when she was part of Stella's flock, which represented her status as a nice gal, if somewhat spoiled before her FaceHeelTurn.
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: Upon her discovery while simultaneously losing her crown on the Season 2 premiere of ''Stella'' series, she returned to Stella's flock and appeared to be back to being nice toward them again, albert remain being SpoiledBrat and sort of missed her place as a queen. Thus, as soon as Handsome Pig found the crown and return it to her, Gale waste no time to return to her villainous way with glee, although she does sort of feel guilty about it which is doesn't matter to her anyway.
* HoistByHerOwnPetard: During the finale, [[spoiler:she gets turned to gold herself with the Golden Egg while trying to do so to Stella.]]
* IncomingHam[=/=]EvilIsHammy: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcoM-V4xrds If her opening trailer is anything to go by...]]
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Deep down, she really ''does'' seem to want to be Stella and the Flock's friend again, but is too self-centered to let it happen. This doesn't stop Gale wanting her cake and having it too. Once she has the Golden Egg, and has turned most of the island's food to stone as a side effect of using it turn other things into gold, she invites the rest of the flock to her castle for a party. Stella refuses, the others, starving, don't. Gale spots Stella though her telescope at their tree, and begins to turn pieces of it to stone to corral her into coming. It eventually works, and Gale violently pushes a pig out of the way so she can greet Stella to the castle herself (notably she also removed Hamsome's Pig's spot next to her at the table and replaced it with Stella's).
* IveComeTooFar: Part of her wants to make amends with Stella and rejoin her flock, but she is too focused on her own pride and lust for power to actually do anything about it.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Before she become the bad princess, Gale still put ''some'' value to her friends, as much of as a SpoiledBrat she is.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Even when Gale seemingly redeemed on a few occasions, it's really easy for her to return to her villainous way. For example, she rescued Stella in "To the Bitter End", but she still wants the golden egg and when she goes back to get it, [[spoiler:she is seemingly crushed by falling rocks.]]
* MeaningfulName: "Gale" is the Scottish way to refer to a bird's cry. It also means "stranger" in Irish, which denotes her status as an enemy of Stella's who was once her dearest friend.
* MythArc: Her search for the Golden Egg forms one. After two seasons of failures and set backs, Gale finally gets her wings on it in the season 2 finale. And her DrunkWithPower traits get even ''worse''.
* {{Narcissist}}: Her bio explicitly states that vanity is one of her character traits.
* ObliviousToLove: Specifically, she's ignorant of the HUGE crush Handsome Pig has for her. [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] in one episode where Handsome Pig doesn't follow her order and manipulates him with her charms.
* PetTheDog: The ''only'' time Gale ever show any kind of appreciation toward her minions is in "Piggy Love" episode, where she give one of them kisses during one of her expedition to find the Golden Egg whenever he doing something correctly... much to Handsome Pig's jealousy.
* PurpleIsPowerful: She's a purple bird who became princess of the pigs after she got her crown.
* SpoiledBrat: Even before her FaceHeelTurn, Gale has a knack to be pampered by her friends on occasions.
* TakenForGranite: Indirectly gains this power when she gets the Golden Egg: it turns something else on the island to stone when she uses it to turn something to gold, and she eventually gets some measure of control over it.
* TheUnfought: Because ''Stella'' ended up getting CutShort due to Creator/RovioEntertainment deciding to focus more on the AllegedlyFreeGame genre, players never actually got to fight Gale.
* VillainTeamUp: Gale is able to command the Pigs thanks to the crown she wears on her head, effectively allying herself with the Bad Piggies.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: She was once good friends with Stella, until she found a crown and became mad with the power it brought her.
* YouWillBeSpared: When Gale finally gets her feathers on the Golden Egg, the pigs plead with Hamsome Pig to steal it when she turns one of them to gold. Hamsome Pig, who can't stand how she's been lavishing over the Golden Egg since she got it, complies, and it ends as one would expect. But instead of turning ''him'' to gold, she turns his wig to gold. At this seeming sign that she does value him, he's instantly is on her side again. [[EvenEvilHasStandards Even the other pigs are disgusted.]]

* DistressedDude: Is trapped in a bubble by Space King Pig using a freeze cannon in the "Cold Cuts" opening cutscene, and is subsequently rescued in the third level of the episode.
* FireForgedFriends: After being freed from captivity in "Cold Cuts", it's said that he convinced the Flock to help him in his quest to recover his Eggsteroid, and they proceed to cooperate as a team for the next multitude of episodes to achieve this goal. During this period of cooperation, Ice Bird presumably warms up to the Space Flock and are seen celebrating the recovery of the Eggsteroid in the ending cutscene of "Pig Dipper".
* HeroOfAnotherStory: [[AllThereInTheManual According to promotional material]], Ice Bird intends on saving his home planet from the Space Pigs, though this planet is never expanded upon nor introduced.
* AnIcePerson: Both figuratively ''and'' literally. His special ability consists of turning whatever he touches into ice, allowing birds like the Blues to plow through the toughest pigs' structures with ease.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He initially acts serious and hostile towards the Flock, but judging by his appearances in the later ''Space'' cutscenes, they seem to be able to at least cooperate, if not being [[FireForgedFriends friends]] outright.
* MysteriousPast: Not much is known about him nor his past.
* NoNameGiven: Unlike most of the Flock, Ice Bird doesn't have a given 'humanized' name.
* PutOnABus: He hasn't been appearing in other ''Angry Birds'' games. It's even to the point that he didn't even appear in any levels in the last two episodes of ''Space'' (only in one trailer), even though that's in his debut game... [[TheBusCameBack until the ''Space'' update of Angry Birds Reloaded which finally brought him back into the spotlight]].

The equally massive cyan-coloured cousin of the formidable Terence.
----
* BewareTheQuietOnes: He has no verbal lines in the entire Angry Birds series, but he's just as powerful as his cousin Terence.
* BlueMeansCold: He's a pale cyan [[note]]Cyan isn't technically blue on the colour spectrum but is very often conflated as such in vernacular culture.[[/note]] colour, and lives in the often snowy country of Finland.
* CountryCousin: Inverted. Tony's from Helsinki, the capital of Finland, while Terence lives nomadically on Piggy Island.
* CreatorProvincialism: Tony, the only playable bird not from either Piggy Island, Space or Golden Island, is Finnish. Rovio is also from Finnish, go figure.
* GroundPound: His ability (Yes, unlike Terence he actually has one) is to smash downwards and crush anything in his path.
* InformedSpecies: Being Terence's cousin, he is also a cardinal, but one wouldn't expect this fat, cyan bird to be one if they weren't already aware of their family ties.
* PutOnABus: While the fact that he lives in Finland rather than on Piggy Island may be an excuse for his absence, it doesn't change the fact he hasn't appeared in any games since his debut outside of cameos.
* TheQuietOne: Tony, like his cousin, rarely ever vocalises, and when he does, it's nothing but growling.
* UncannyFamilyResemblance: He's exactly like his cousin Terence, aside from his cyan colour and excess fluff.
* VoiceGrunting: Shares the trait of only vocalising "MMMMMMMM" with his cousin, though Tony is slightly higher pitched than Terence.

A huge eagle with a penchant for sardines and easily wipes out pigs.
----
* AdaptationalComicRelief: He's much more goofy and easygoing in the movie continuity compared to [[TheDreaded his fearsome persona]] in the games.
* AdaptationalJerkass: In the ''Angry Birds Movie'', he's portrayed as an overweight, selfish, has-been who's given up the heroing business and refuses to help out until the very end of the movie. [[spoiler:He tries to claim he was just being a TricksterMentor, but it's left ambiguous if this is really the case or if he's just lying to try and cover up his own less-than-heroic behavior. It's notable that Red, Chuck and Bomb are all quite skeptical of the claim.]]
* AdaptationalWimp: In the Movie continuity, while he can fly, he's nowhere as impressive and feared as his original counterpart due to being a coward, is out of shape, and much weaker looking compared to the rest of the eagles. His original limbless counterpart, on the other hand, is capable of inflicting a guaranteed OneHitKO on any level, and as the "Red's Mighty Feathers" episode shows, his feathers are magic.
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: He's larger than any bird ''by far'', being almost as big as some of the levels themselves.
* BigGood: He is this to the entire flock and serves as their mentor on occasions.
* BigOlEyebrows: Sports some impressive eyebrows.
* BribingYourWayToVictory: It costs 99 cents to unlock him in ''Angry Birds'', ''Angry Birds Seasons'', and ''Angry Birds Rio''. Most of the other games give him limited uses that can be purchased with {{Microtransactions}} (similar to power-ups). It's fully {{averted}} in ''Angry Birds Reloaded'' and ''Rovio Classics: Angry Birds'', where he comes with the game for free.
* CastingGag: Peter Dinklage voices the tallest character in the movie.
* DisappearedDad: in the second movie we find out that he [[spoiler:(unknowingly) Abandoned his daughter Debbie before she hatched]] at the end of the movie he reconciles with her.
* TheDreaded: His size alone strikes fear within the pigs. At first, ''even the other birds'' feared him, including ''[[TheStoic Terence]]''. In ''Angry Birds 2'', when you use the Sardines boost, any pigs still onscreen adopt an OhCrap face seconds before his shadow swoops in.
* {{Expy}}: Two in particular, which are Mighty Dragon and Space Eagle. Also Wingman to a point.
%%zce* GoodParents: Is this with Zeta.
%%zce* HappilyMarried: Is this at the end
* TheHermit: He's a grumpy old hermit who lives alone on a mountain.
* HermitGuru: He lives in solitude in a cave on top of a mountain. In the comics, the birds sometimes visit him to seek wisdom and advice.
* HeWhoMustNotBeSeen: An unusual example. His full appearance is shown in promotional materials and in a few particular games (such as ''Angry Birds Epic''), but most of the games in which he can be used hide his appearance through shadows and motion blur.
* LightningBruiser: It's on and off the screen in less than a second and will annihilate any obstacles in its path, not to mention killing all the pigs.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: He works completely differently from every other bird. Instead of launching him from the slingshot, you launch a can of sardines. He swoops down to collect it once it lands, demolishing everything in his path and [[SmartBomb popping every pig in the level]] with the ensuing earthquake. He also uses a completely different scoring system, which is based on how many blocks you've destroyed in the level rather than how many points you've earned.
* TheMentor: The character who guides the player in ''Angry Birds: Epic''.
* NobleBirdOfPrey: Undoubtedly the largest and most powerful of the birds, who all respect and fear him (at least in the games).
* PapaWolf: Do yourself a favor and DO NOT harm Debbie.
* PerpetualMolt: His flight path is marked by a trail of feathers.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: What follows his fort disintegrating cannon ball is an earthquake that destroys every pig that he misses, which effectively makes losing a level with him in use impossible.
** In ''Angry Birds 2'', he doesn't even ''touch'' the pigs or their fortress, but the wind force caused by him flying by is still enough to destroy them all.
* ShadowOfImpendingDoom: He casts one on the level before impact.
* SmartBomb: He serves this basic purpose in the game proper, immediately killing off all pigs on the screen when used.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Sardines, of course. That's what summons him.

* FashionableEvil: He's not exactly wearing any clothes, being an Angry Birds character and all, but that hairstyle is absolutely on point.

Jo is a superb bird of paradise who was introduced as a new character for Pride Month in 2023. They love dancing and arts and try to make the world a better place, but they are a little shy and prefer to stick with a close-knit group of friends. Tapping the screen causes a flurry of miniature Jo's to rain down on the pigs' structures and damage them. Jo is the first non-binary character in the ''Angry Birds'' franchise and made their playable debut in ''Angry Birds 2''.

The leader of the Bad Piggies. He's big and fat, but he isn't too bright.
----
* AdiposeRex: For a king, he’s very fat.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: In the Moon Festival comic via storytelling, he actually misses his subjects once he's on the moon for too long so when he came back home with Chuck, he throws a party for all of his subjects.
* AdaptedOut: He does not appear in the movie and all of its ties-in, being replaced with [[SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute Leonard]]. However, early storyboards indicate that he was going to appear before being scrapped.
* AllThereInTheManual: The official Angry Birds guide book reveal his full name to be 'King Pig Smooth Cheeks'.
* ArtEvolution: Started off in the games with the same body type as all the other pigs ([[GiantMook just larger]]), but has taken on a more distinct plump, jowlier appearance in the comics and animated series, to hammer home his FatIdiot traits.
* BadBoss: While he could treat his minions fairly on a few occasions, King Pig mostly indirectly torture his minion pigs with his orders, such as in "Slappy-Go-Lucky" episode of ''Toons'' for example, where he enjoy watching his subjects getting smacked by Foreman Pig's slapping machines.
* BigBad: Of the original game and most of its spin-offs.
* BigEater: He's this ''all the time''.
* BerserkButton: Don't take his meal away from him. It certainly says something that [[DirtyCoward King Pig]] becomes willing to face the birds himself whenever his foods are threatened by them.
* CloudCuckooLander: He sort of airheaded to the point where even his minions are questioning his antics.
* CoolCrown: He almost never takes his crown off and when he does, none of his subjects recognize him.
* DarkSecret: Despite what his subjects believes about him, he never eaten eggs before, and fears he'll lose his throne if they found out about it.
* DirtyCoward: He rarely confronts the birds himself to steal the eggs and always relies on his minions to get the job done.
* EvilIsHammy: In ''Angry Birds Toons'' to be exact.
* ExtremeOmnivore: Sometimes, he'd go as far as ''eating the plate'' where his food is served.
* FatBastard: He's a very obese pig and the series' BigBad.
* FatIdiot: It's clear that he's not very bright and is only king because of his heritage.
* FinalBoss: Almost all of his appearances are in the last level of an episode, with a few exceptions (such as Mighty Hoax, due to the chapter's cardboard cutout ExcusePlot).
* GluttonousPig: The mastermind behind the pigs' egg-stealing schemes, King Pig wants to eat them all himself.
* HarmlessVillain: Despite being the {{Big Bad}} of the main series, King Pig is rather too goofy and childish to be seen as an intimidating threat by the birds and even his minions loves to messing around with him on rare occasions. [[NotSoHarmlessVillain Well, most of the times...]]
* KingMook: Of the Bad Piggies. He's their leader, and he's the largest and toughest of them all.
* LargeAndInCharge: Definitely the largest of the pigs, and is their king. [[AllThereInTheManual According to]] ''The World of Angry Birds Official Guide'', authority in Pig City directly scales with the pigs' size, with the largest pig being crowned king.
* LargeHam: In ''Angry Birds Toons'', both literally and figuratively.
* LazyBum / {{Sleepyhead}}: In the old ''Angry Birds'' website from 2015, it is stated that he takes a nap ''fourteen times a day'' on average.
* MadeOfIron: Even in the games where the pigs aren't that hard to kill.
* ManChild: He's very childish and quite a crybaby alongside prone to throwing a tantrum when things aren't in his way.
* MeaningfulName: His official name is King Smooth Cheeks, as he's apparently the only member of the pigs' royal bloodline to not have a beard. "Bearded Ambition" reveals that this is a bit of a sore spot for him and wanting to get a beard himself, only for said beard is causing him so much trouble to the point where he ordered the beards to be removed from every portrait and sculpture of his predecessors.
* MushroomSamba: In the "Sleep Like a Hog" episode of ''Toons'' series, King Pig using too much sleeping gas from Professor Pig to put himself to sleep after so many failure menthods, which accidentally led himself to this. At first, he hallucinates his minions as stuffed animals and thinks his pillows are eggs. But then the trip turns bad as they turn into monsters and waking him once again.
* NeverBareheaded: He is almost always seen with his crown. Without it, his subjects [[RecognitionFailure fail to recognize who he is]].
%%* NiceGuy: He's actually kind when he's not hungry. But he's only like this once in a blue moon.
* ObsessedWithFood: In spades. When not usually thinking about eating the eggs, he adores eating royal feasts all to himself.
* PaperThinDisguise: In the Halloween comic, it's very obvious that he's the leader of a secret society, with one pig even [[LampshadeHanging lampshading]] it.
* RollerbladeGood: As Brawl and a few others in ''Angry Birds Transformers''.
* SecretCircleOfSecrets: In the Halloween comic, he's the leader of one called "The Druids of Warthos."
* TooDumbToLive: Perhaps even more so than the minion pigs...
* VillainousGlutton: Aside from eating the eggs being his main goal in life, he loves ordering his minions to feed him lots of food.
* VocalEvolution: His voice was much deeper and somewhat menacing in early cinematic shorts of the game, and become a little high pitcher and goofier started from ''Toons'' series.
* TheWrongfulHeirToTheThrone: According to ''[[AllThereInTheManual The World of Angry Birds Official Guide]]'', King Pig is trying to steal the eggs because he's the only member of the piggy monarchy who's never eaten eggs, and fears he'll lose his throne if his subjects found out.
* ZeroEffortBoss: In contrast to his usual game appearances where he's the toughest pig to pop, King Pig is utterly ''pathetic'' in ''Angry Birds Epic'', doing negligible damage and having a charged attack that has no effect. The only issue he poses is [[NoSell No-Selling]] the [[LimitBreak Rage Chili]] and having a passive skill that makes [[DragonInChief Prince Porky and Wizpig]] stronger.

The leader of the pigs as seen in ''The Angry Birds Movie''. Although essentially filling the same role as King Pig, he's quite a different character.
----
* AdiposeRex: As king of Piggy Island, he's very porky, huge, and tall.
* AffablyEvil: Comes across as jovial, personable and larger than life. His goal still boils down to EatsBabies and he's not above playing up a veneer of benevolence to achieve his goals.
* AllThereInTheManual: An official guidebook providing background information on the games revealed that Mudbeard is the father of King Smooth Cheeks. Although the latter was AdaptedOut of the movie, early storyboards where he appeared as the prince of the pigs indicate that this is still the case in the movie's continuity.
* BeardOfEvil: He's visually distinct from the other Bad Piggies thanks to his bushy, green beard.
* BigBad: He's the main antagonist of the first movie and all of its ties-in.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: Towards King Pig Smooth Cheeks. While King Pig is a TooDumbToLive HarmlessVillain who fails to capture the birds' eggs aside of a few close calls here and there, Leonard manage to steal tons of eggs from the whole bird island on his first try due to him being smart enough to pull a VillainWithGoodPublicity for most of the first half of the movie.
* DramaticIrony: In the first movie, he's using his intention to befriend the birds as a disguise plan to steal their eggs with the help of his minions. Comes the second movie, he ends up being the one who rally the birds to team up with him to stop Zeta from destroying both side's home islands.
* GlassCannon: In ''Angry Birds 2'', he's the only character who can use his ability multiple times. However, he also explodes instantly upon contact with a solid object.
* LargeAndInCharge: His status as the king of the pigs is easily showcased by the fact he's the tallest of them all.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: His ability in the slingshot games where he's playable is to launch up to three snot bombs in the direction that he's facing, propelling himself backwards for each shot. This makes him the only character who can use his ability multiple times. In ''Angry Birds 2'', he also [[GlassCannon explodes as soon as he touches a surface]], though he is a MightyGlacier in ''Reloaded'' (likely as compensation for him not directly facing the direction he is flying towards).
* MightyGlacier: He's this in ''Reloaded'', combined with his snot bomb ability from ''Angry Birds 2'', making him a superior substitute to Terence and Hal combined.
* MoralMyopia: Steals Bird Island's children with the intention of eating them, then has the gall to get pissed when they retaliate. He also wrecks Red's house with no remorse (even writing off Red's understandable calling out with "it was ugly") but is angry when ''his'' home is destroyed.
* NasalWeapon: His power in ''Angry Birds 2'' is firing off up to three booger bombs, [[RecoilBoost which propel him in the opposite direction that he fired them in]].
* PromotedToPlayable: In ''Angry Birds 2'', he appears as an extra "bird" that can be unlocked later in the game.
* SurroundedByIdiots: In the movie, King Mudbeard is a very cunning and crafty character, but his porcine subjects are all a bunch of idiots. Even lampshaded when Red first reveals he's brought a whole army of pigs with him to the island, where he uses the dimwittedness of his subjects as an excuse for why he was hiding them; to keep them safe in case things went wrong.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: He shares the same role as King Pig in ''The Angry Birds Movie'', but isn't actually King Pig himself--he has a beard (which Smooth Cheeks obviously lacks), is more competent, and is implied to be the father of the games' King Pig.
* TokenNonHuman: For whatever reason, in ''Angry Birds 2'' he joins the all-bird Flock as a playable character, being the only pig on the team.
* WhatsUpKingDude: Although his formal name is King Mudbeard, even his own subjects happily refer to him by his first name of Leonard, even after he returns to the Piggy Island and resumes the throne.

[[caption-width-right:240:'''Pig Headed.''']]
A mustached pig who's in charge of the buildings the pigs make.
----
* ArtEvolution: He looks older and wrinklier now than he did initially. He's also blind in one eye, and his nose and one of his ears has a notch.
* DegradedBoss: He first appears as the toughest pig of 2-21, but proceeding levels have him as a slightly sturdier mook.
* TheDragon: Portrayed as King Pig's number two in the Halloween comic. It's implied to be the case for the games as well, where he's usually the last boss faced before the King.
* EarNotch: In his ''Toons'' design, he has a notch on one of his ears.
* EliteMook: He's the second-toughest pig in the game, next to King Pig himself.
* GadgeteerGenius: Was apparently able to make a HumongousMecha in "Slappy-Go-Lucky" episode of the ''Toons'' series all by himself (albeit after stealing the blueprints from Professor Pig). Unfortunately, he isn't enough of one to prevent it from [[GoneHorriblyWrong Going Horribly Wrong...]]
* MeanBoss: Almost all of his appearances in the cartoon have him shouting angrily at his employees.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: In the comic tie-in to VideoGame/AngryBirdsTransformers he, as Lockdown Pig, takes a while adjusting to his form, ending up transforming into a toilet for issue one and part of issue two. He soon becomes useless to the pigs when he falls over and can no longer contribute. When he finds out how to Transform he easily overpowers Grimlock (who was taking on the other Deceptihogs and winning) and one-shots Bumblebee when the rest of the Autobirds show up.
* SecretCircleOfSecrets: In the Halloween comic, he's the [[TheDragon right-hand man]] of the king, who's the leader of it.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: His special ability in ''Angry Birds Go!'' is to throw sticks of dynamite. It's similar to Matilda's egg bomb, except it has less range and can be used up to three times.

The King's royal chef. He often schemes behind the King's back.
----
* AdaptationalVillainy: While Chef Pig himself is already a bad guy who plans to backstab his king behind his backs, [[spoiler:''VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic'' had him straight up betray King Pig in front of everyone, stealing both King Pig's crown and the final bird egg.]]
* ArtEvolution: In the early games, he's just a normal pig with a chef's hat. Later additions gave him a pointier shape, a DastardlyWhiplash mustache, and a constant smug expression. In the CGI film ''The Angry Birds Movie'', he was redesigned to look more like his early appearances, with the addition of having a body and an additional chef's apron and spatula.
* BadBoss: [[spoiler:Demonic Wizpig often summons Spirits during his battle. These enemies are so weak that they barely pose any threat, and after a few turns he [[SoulEating consumes them]] to recover health.]]
* BigBad: In VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic, who goes by the name Wizpig.[[note]]Not to be confused with the VideoGame/DiddyKongRacing villain of the same name.[[/note]]
* DastardlyWhiplash: His mustache is one of these; he frequently gives credit to King Pig for his diabolical plans.
* DragonInChief: He's apparently the brains behind King Pig. In ''Angry Birds Epic'' he epitomizes the trope--he's the one who steals the eggs, hides them in the castles, uses his magic to antagonize and hinder the birds, fights them directly, and [[spoiler:[[TheStarscream eventually usurps]]]] the [[ZeroEffortBoss now-completely-helpless]] King Pig.
* DualBoss: One of his battles in ''Angry Birds Epic'' is done alongside Prince Porky. Later on, he, Prince Porky, and King Pig all take you on at once.
* EvilChancellor: Seems to have this relationship to King Pig (see TheStarscream below).
* EvilChef: With the toque [[note]] chef's hat [[/note]] and Snidely Whiplash mustache to come with it.
* EvilGenius: He comes up with a bunch of great plans to steal the eggs, but he's smart enough to give the credit to the King Pig.
* EvilSorcerer: Uses magic to steal and "hide" eggs in ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic''.
* FlunkyBoss: Like Prince Porky, he's accompanied by bombs in some of his battles. [[spoiler:In the first phase of the final boss fight, he's backed up by two Zombies known as Righty and Lefty. He also summons Spirits as Demonic Wizpig, though they're less for attacking and more for [[SoulEater sacrificing to heal himself]].]]
* FrenchJerk: Seems to have some sort of French accent in the animated series, and is considerably more Jerk-ish as well. Goes hand in hand with being the EvilChef.
* LargeHam: In ''Angry Birds Transformers'' as Soundwave, he makes some very overdramatic poses and sounds. In ''Angry Birds 2'', he has the most over the top and exaggerated EvilLaugh of any of the boss pigs.
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:Becomes a Demon Wizard at the climax of ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic''.]]
* ProductPlacement: The cookbook that Chef Pig mentions is available at bookstores in the Christmas comic is, in fact, a real cookbook.
* RecurringBoss: In both ''Angry Birds Epic'' (as Wizpig) and ''Angry Birds 2'', he keeps coming back for more every time the birds beat him.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: In ''Angry Birds Transformers'' as Soundblaster, and [[spoiler:in ''Angry Birds Epic'' as Demonic Wizpig]].
* SmugSnake: He's rather confident at carrying his plans, which is embrassing when [[BreakTheHaughty they falling apart]].
* TheStarscream: In the ''Angry Birds Toons'' episode "Trojan Egg", he sits on King Pig's throne and wears his crown while the latter is being cooked alive by his own subjects. He even lets out an EvilLaugh as it happens.
** [[spoiler:He's also this as Wizpig in ''Angry Birds Epic'', as he steals both the final egg and King Pig's crown for himself once the latter is defeated.]]
** Zigzagged in Angry Birds Transformers, where, while he's still an example of this trope... he's [[UndyingLoyalty Soundwave.]]
* TheUnfought: Despite being a major character in media outside the games (particularly ''Angry Birds Toons''), Chef Pig doesn't usually appear as an enemy in the games themselves. The only mainline game where he appears is ''Angry Birds 2'', though he can also be fought in some spinoffs such as ''Epic'' and ''Fight''.

The normal pigs you’ll be popping at all times.
----
* AdorableEvilMinions: They're pretty much this. And their ''Toons'' redesign just makes them even cuter.
* AffablyEvil: When not under the rules of their leader (Such as King Pig & Gale) to do bad things like stealing eggs and more, they're actually pretty goofy & quite likeable albeit pretty annoying at times.
* BackFromTheDead: In some certain tournaments in ''Angry Birds Friends'' and ''Angry Birds Stella'' via Cursed Pig and with the help of Necromancer Pig, they capable to return to life as [[CameBackWrong terrifying zombies]] after being popped and just rise from the ground, prompting the players to finish them off for good by popping them again.
* BigEater: Not as much as King Pig however.
* BlindObedience: They certainly had a thing to follow their ruler commands without question most of the time. That being said, this doesn't stop them from messing around with them once in a while.
* BreakoutCharacter: Aside from being recurring enemies on most of the Angry Birds' games, they starred their own show called ''[[WesternAnimation/PiggyTales Piggy Tales]]''. Not to mention they have a fair share of screentime in ''Toons'' and the ''Stella'' series as well.
* ButtMonkey: While most of the pigs are subjected to this, the minion pigs shown to suffer this the most.
* TheChewToy: These guys just can't catch a break from getting hurt and humiliated by either the birds or their higher-up pigs.
* CloudCuckooLander: While it's not applied to all of them, most of these guys are certainly clarified with this.
* DetrimentalDetermination: The manual mentions them for being persistent at accomplishing their goal, hence why they never stop stealing the eggs for King Pig. It is ZigZagged at best though as they know when to quit but doesn't stop them to try again.
* {{Expy}}:
** If the post-2012 animations are any indication, they could be this to the Minions from ''Franchise/DespicableMe''. ''WesternAnimation/AngryBirdsStella'' spinoff series makes this even more blatant with these guys seeking evil leader to serve as long as they have a crown on their head.
** They also could be an expy to [[VideoGame/RavingRabbids the Rabbids]] as well due to both of them known for being [[TooDumbToLive obnoxiously stupid]] and really annoying in general with a bit of cuteness thrown into the mix.
* FailureIsTheOnlyOption: Whenever they try to to steal the birds' eggs, even when they're about to turn them into omelettes.
* GeniusDitz: Well, kind off... But despite known for being clueless, they are quite a competent workers as they manages to build their defensive structures in a rather questionable form.
* InexplicablyIdenticalIndividuals: Beside the occasional different faces & sizes among them including their voices, most of these guys looks exactly the same. Although it's {{Downplayed}} in ''[[WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie The Angry Birds Movie]]''.
* MascotMook: They represent the bad piggies as a whole.
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: They're generally harmless and easygoing guys and only stealing the eggs simply because [[BigBad King Pig]] or their higher up pigs told them to.
* {{Mooks}}: They make up the bulk of most of the games' enemies.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: While the birds able to defeat them easily, the minion pigs actually able to overshadow them by [[DeathFromAbove attacking them from above]] in two occasions: When they tried to steal the eggs in "Off Duty" episode & facing Red in ''Bad Piggies'' teaser trailer.
* PunchClockVillains: They don't mind to hang around and even co-exist with the birds when they're not causing trouble or as long as the birds themselves aren't threatening them.
* TheStarscream: Becomes the TropeNamer in ''Angry Birds Transformers'', as well as [[PaletteSwap Thundercracker, Skywarp, basically most of the Seekers]] except Slipstream.
* TooDumbToLive: To the point they can't even recognized their leader without the crown on their head.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Toward each other. They might fight and prank each other at the times, but they still stick together in the end.
* YourSizeMayVary: In the original games (Except ''Angry Birds Stella''), they have different size from small to large while in other games & animated form (Except the movie & ''Piggy Tales'' series), they have a constant medium size.

An intelligent pig who prefers getting out of battles with the Angry Birds.
----
* AbsentMindedProfessor: He gets so caught up in his inventions or ideas that he forgets the practical consequences of his actions.
* AffablyEvil: It's very evident that he doesn't like King Pig's plans of stealing the eggs, but help the king does so anyway. Being the most intelligent of the pigs, he'd rather have the birds and the pigs get along rather than fight each other.
* BrainyPig: Perhaps the smartest of all the Bad Piggies.
* BunglingInventor: Not all of his machines function as planned, such as his flower planter in the ''Toons'' episode "Slappy-Go-Lucky".
* GadgeteerGenius: He has invented and crafted various gadgets and contraptions, often creating useful tools and devices to aid both the pigs and the birds.
* ReluctantMadScientist: While Professor Pig likes inventing stuff, he may be reluctant to use his machines for nefarious purposes, such as aiding in the pigs' schemes for egg invasion.
* TokenGoodTeammate: He's one of the few pigs who doesn't actively goes out of his way to antagonize the birds and in a quite good term with them beside the minion pigs (and even then in their case, [[PunchClockVillain it varies]]).
* TokenHeroicOrc: He runs a potion shop in ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic'' and a crafting lab in ''VideoGame/AngryBirdsTransformers''.
* YouDontLookLikeYou: In his original appearance, he is a peanut-shaped pig with square glasses (bowtie optional). In ''Angry Birds Comics'', his glasses are red, and he has a mustache. In the comics based on the movie, he has hair on his head.

A very obese pig who first appears as a boss in ''Angry Birds Space''. He has made sporadic appearances in the series since then (though he never became a regular enemy), including in ''Angry Birds Toons'', where he portrays a luchador known as "El Porkador".
----
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: Undoubtedly the biggest pig seen in the games, Fat Pig is so large that he has his own gravitational field.
* ArchEnemy: Reflecting their rivalry in ''Toons'', ''Angry Birds Friends'' casts El Porkador as The Wingman's biggest enemy.
* ArcVillain: In the ''Angry Birds Space'' episode "Utopia", King Pig is nowhere to be seen--instead, it's this guy doing the egg-stealing.
* BigEater: In his boss fight, he spends most of his time loudly and messily eating heaps of popcorn. Notably, he's already eaten the Eggsteroid by the time Utopia starts--the goal is to get it ''out'' of him.
* BoisterousBruiser: El Porkador gives [[WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold Aquaman]] a run for his money, spending most of his time merrily singing as he [[CurbStompBattle curb-stomps]] the birds.
* DeathByGluttony: He's constantly stuffing popcorn in his mouth during his boss fight. This proves to be his downfall, as tricking him into eating an asteroid, bird, or burnt popcorn will damage him.
* DegradedBoss: {{Inverted}} in a strange way--despite Fat Pig being established as the ArcVillain of Utopia, smaller {{Mook}} versions of him appear before you face him as a boss.
* DumbMuscle: He's extremely large and tough, but apparently not too bright. Even the other pigs, who normally [[LargeAndInCharge determine their ruler based on size]], refuse to make him king due to his lack of intelligence.
* EarlyBirdCameo: In level 20 of Cold Cuts, he appears frozen inside the level's planet. This is long before you officially encounter him in the game. It's possible he may be a SealedEvilInACan.
* FatBastard: He's extremely overweight, and arguably the greediest and most gluttonous pig of all.
* FeedItABomb: The boss version of Fat Pig is too big to harm directly, so you have to trick him into eating a harmful object, such as a bird, an asteroid, or [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking burnt-off popcorn]].
* GluttonousPig: Everything he does is for the sake of stuffing his gullet. Fittingly, the level he's found in is [[LevelAte made of food]].
* IncredibleShrinkingMan: After being defeated, all of the food that Fat Pig ate is ejected from his body, shrinking him down to the size of a normal pig.
* {{Kevlard}}: A consistent trait of his whenever he's not used as a regular enemy. In ''Angry Birds Space'', he's too large to damage with regular attacks, requiring [[FeedItABomb a different strategy]]. In ''Angry Birds Toons'', El Porkador similarly shrugs off the birds' attacks thanks to his bulk, requiring them to bring in Terence to take him down.
* LargeHam: Both literally and figuratively in ''Angry Birds Toons'', where he's portrayed as a bombastic luchador who spends most of his screen time loudly singing.
* MaskedLuchador: As El Porkador, he's dressed up as a mexican wrestler, though he's functionally more similar to a [[SumoWrestling sumo wrestler]].
* MightyGlacier: El Porkador is so heavy that he needs to be supported by a wheelbarrow, but he's able to NoSell most of the birds' attacks.
* TooImportantToWalk: Instead of hopping around like King Pig's other grunts, El Porkador is hauled around in a wheelbarrow. Once Terence destroys it, it becomes clear that this is {{Justified| Trope}}, as he's too heavy to move without it.
* VacuumMouth: How he eats food (and potentially hazards) in ''Angry Birds Space''. El Porkador uses a similar technique to take out the Blues, though he inhales with his nose rather than his mouth.
* WeaksauceWeakness: While Fat Pig can be damaged by feeding him birds or asteroids, you can also damage him by feeding him ''burnt popcorn'' (created by hitting the popcorn machines in the level with your birds). In ''Angry Birds Toons'', El Porkador is defeated by destroying his wheelbarrow, causing him to roll away without its support.
* YourSizeMayVary: In his boss fight, Fat Pig is the size of a planet. As a {{Mook}}, however, he's only a little bit larger than King Pig. ''Angry Birds Toons'' goes with a size comparable to the latter.

A young pig with freckles and the main protagonist of ''Bad Piggies''.
----
* AdaptationalNameChange: Retroactively — his name was revealed to be Ross in the movie, but he's known as "Prince Porky" in VideoGame/AngryBirdsEpic.
* AdaptationalVillainy: In most of his appearances such as ''Bad Piggies'' and ''The Angry Birds Movie'', he's simply doing his leader's bidding like the other minion pigs and his method to deal with the birds is simply fleeing with his contraptions. And while it's the same case in ''Angry Birds Epic'', he's much more determined to stop the birds from getting back the eggs, and is a persistent threat to the birds [[RankScalesWithAsskicking due to being a prince.]]
* BackStab: In ''Epic'', Prince Porky's attack is Vicious Backstab, which hits a single bird three times for high damage.
* BigGood: As far for the pigs' standards anyway, but ''Bad Piggies 2'' shows him being a great engineer that aspires the other minion pigs to follow his steps alongside being a mentor to your pig.
* ButtMonkey: Being a minion pig, he suffers this all the same like the others with most of his screentime in the first movie particularly is just him going through many misfortunes.
* CatchPhrase: 'Waaa-hohohee!!' whenever he goes overexcited. Best heard in both ''Bad Piggies'' cinematic trailer & 1st anniversary trailer, even in the theme song of the game.
* CombatPragmatist: Prince Porky uses underhanded tactics in battle, like [[BackStab stabbing your birds in the back]] and summoning [[ActionBomb bombs]] to split their attention.
* ADayInTheLimelight: He's the protagonist of the game, ''VideoGame/BadPiggies''.
* DeathOfAThousandCuts: Prince Porky's attack, "Vicious Backstab", deals three weak hits at once. [[spoiler:As a party member this move is renamed "Righteous Backstab", and is great for dealing with Ninja Pigs and other enemies with the "Dodge" skill.]]
* DodgyToupee: Prince Porky wears a very obvious orange wig, which briefly comes off his head during some of his animations. His IdleAnimation has it start to slip off his head, causing him to fix it by blowing air on it.
* DualBoss: One of his battles in ''Angry Birds Epic'' is done alongside Wizpig. Later on, he, Wizpig, and King Pig all take you on at once.
* TheEvilPrince: Going along with the fantasy setting, ''Angry Birds Epic'' re-themes him into a prince, fittingly named "Prince Porky".
* FlunkyBoss: He summons bombs to support him in most of his boss fights. Some of his earlier battles are done alongside Minion Pigs as well.
* GadgeteerGenius: In ''Bad Piggies'', he builds crazy vehicles to get through the levels.
* GivenNameReveal: In ''The Angry Birds Movie'' and in one of notification flavor text for ''Bad Piggies'' game reveal his name to be Ross.
* GlassCannon: Prince Porky's "Tit for Tat" skill invokes this concept, reducing his defense while increasing his attack. It's not actually a huge detriment to him under normal circumstances, however, as his "Dodge" ability still caps the damage that can be done to him in a single attack. [[spoiler:As a playable character it's much riskier to use since he can no longer Dodge, but he makes up for it by increasing the attack boost while decreasing the defense loss.]]
* GuestStarPartyMember: [[spoiler:After beating the the main story of ''Angry Birds Epic'', he can be taken into dungeons and Chronicle Cave as an extra party like Piggy [=McCool=] does.]]
* TheHeavy: In ''Angry Birds Epic'', Prince Porky is the most persistent threat to the birds throughout the game, as well as the most frequently-fought boss. [[DragonInChief He also puts up a way bigger fight than King Pig]].
* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler:After Wizpig steals King Pig's crown, Prince Porky teams up with the birds to get it back. After that, you can use him in your party in Chronicle Caves, indicating that it wasn't merely a case of EnemyMine.]]
* HolyHandGrenade: In a direct ShoutOut to [[Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail the trope's namesake]], [[spoiler:Prince Porky throws one as his Limit Break once he becomes playable. It's one of the most powerful moves in the game, doing enormous damage to all enemies and permanently killing Undead enemies.]]
* TheKlutz: Much like other minion pigs, as he shown to accidentally ruined the pigs' map of the location to the birds' eggs twice.
* TheLancer: Sometimes he serves as this to King Pig. In the first movie, he's this to Leonard.
* LegendaryInTheSequel: In ''Bad Piggies 2'', he seemingly regarded as a great engineer and has his own workshop where the other pigs often requests him to build the contraptions for them.
* LightningBruiser: Prince Porky not only has high health and does high damage, but he also has the passive ability "Dodge", which allows him to evade damage above a certain amount (in later versions of the game, this was {{Nerf}}ed so that he can't take more than a certain amount of damage per hit).
* LimitBreak: [[spoiler:His Rage Chili ability is "Holy Hand Grenade". It does a huge amount of damage to all enemies, and permanently removes Undead enemies from the fight if it kills them.]]
* MadeOfIron: The worst he suffers from crashes and falls in ''Bad Piggies'' is a little dizziness, though it's justified to complement the slapstick nature of the gameplay.
* PreviousPlayerCharacterCameo: While he returns in ''Bad Piggies 2'', Ross is not a playable character there, but rather serves a mentor for your pig character.
* RecurringBoss: Fought no less than ''seven times'' throughout ''Angry Birds Epic''--technically more, if you count the limited-time events.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: That his name is ''Prince'' Porky implies that he's descended from King Pig in ''Angry Birds Epic''. Nothing like this is implied anywhere else in the series.
* RoyalBrat: Prince Porky is implied to be like this in ''Epic'' — he has a sneering laugh, mocks the birds at every opportunity, and whines and cries whenever things don't go his way
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Being a master builder and a mentor to your pig in ''Bad Piggies 2'', Ross is seemingly taking the role of Mechanic Pig from the first game where he serves as a power up that helps him build the contraptions in case you get stuck in a level.
* YouthfulFreckles: Has six dots, with three on each cheek, but they're barely noticeable. He still retains them in his redesign for ''The Angry Birds Movie'', but they're even harder to see.

* FriendlyShopkeeper: He runs the shop in ''Angry Birds Epic'' and is one of the few pigs to be helpful to the birds. His playable self is even called "Merchant Pig".
* GuestStarPartyMember: As "Merchant Pig", Piggy [=McCool=] can be taken into dungeons and Chronicle Cave as an extra party member once per day. He even has his own unique moveset centered around money and potions.
* IntrepidMerchant: His main role in ''Epic'' is to sell items, but he's also willing to fight alongside the birds in dungeons and Chronicle Caves.
* ItemAmplifier: His support skill is "Restock", which gives potions used on the target a chance of being replaced for free.
* LimitBreak: His Rage Chili ability is "Happy Hour!", which works similar to Matilda's Medicine in that it heals all the birds by 35% of their health. However, instead of curing status ailments, it refills the Rage Chili by a small amount.
* PaperThinDisguise: It's transparently obvious that he's just a pig wearing a bird suit. Regardless, the Blues decide to play along for a while so they can terrorize him.
* TokenHeroicOrc: He's actively helping the birds throughout ''Angry Birds Epic'', either by selling them items or acting as a temporary party member in dungeons.
* UniformityException: He continues to wear his bird disguise outside of his debut, presumably as a way of telling the birds that he's on their side.
* WeSellEverything: Almost everything that can be bought in ''Angry Birds Epic'' (with the exception of equipment, non-premium classes, and Mastery) comes from his shop.
* VideoGameStealing: His attack, "Pickpocket", steals a few Snoutlings from enemies he hits with it.

----
* AllLoveIsUnrequited: He has a HUGE crush on Gale, but it doesn't seem to be reciprocated.
* BigOlEyebrows: Has a pair of thick black bars, which distinct him from the other pigs.
* CharacterTic: He has tendency to scream and crying in ''autotune''.
* TheChewToy: Amazingly even moreso than the minion pigs, as he shown to be Gale's personal punching bag multiple times.
* TheDragon: He serves as this to Gale.
* {{Expy}}: Appear to be this to Corporal Pig, in term of being [[TheDragon Gale's right hand man and second in-command]].
* FailureIsTheOnlyOption: Let's face it; With how ignorant and abusive Gale are toward the pigs, she certainly gives no crud toward his feeling to her no matter how much he tries to impress her.
* InterspeciesRomance: Really wants one to happen with Gale, but alas, it never works.
* SycophanticServant: Unlike the other pigs where they serve Gale because of the crown she wearing, this guy is doing it out of his adoration to her instead. And no matter how much she abuse him, he continue to stay on her side.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Gale; even with how many abuse he receives from her, Handsome Pig remain loyal on her side, with and without the crown. Additionally, after she lost the crown, he got her to a place to get help and then went to retrieve her crown. Even when he finds it, he returns it to her without a second thought.

----
* BadassesWearBandanas: For a broad definition of "bandana", the red headband he wears all the time. He wouldn't be a ''Rambo'' parody without one.
* BigOlEyebrows: Almost as thick as Red's.
* DumbMuscle: He's much more physically capable than most of the Minion Pigs, but dumb enough to bring back the wrong items from his missions in both of his appearances.
* EliteMook: He is much, ''much'' more competent than the average pig. Unfortunately, he is just as stupid.
* LanternJawOfJustice: Well, minus the "justice" part of course. For a spherical pig, he sure has an impressive chin!
* LiteralMinded: In both of his appearances:
** He aces the pigs' training course, which involves carrying an egg-shaped rock to the end in place of an actual egg. Once he's sent on a real mission, he successfully infiltrates the birds' home and brings back... an egg-shaped rock. Apparently, it never occurred to him that he was supposed to steal an actual egg.
** When tasked with retrieving a buried treasure, he's given a typical XMarksTheSpot map. When he finally reaches the place where the treasure is hidden, he takes... the literal "X" mark itself, and nothing else. Unlike the first time, [[ComicallyMissingThePoint everyone celebrates anyway]].
* PunnyName: A pig Rambo named "Hambo".

* TheSmurfettePrinciple: One of the very few pigs that is female and is the only female pig playable in ''Reloaded''.

An orange dragon exclusive to the 'Year of the Dragon' chapter in Angry Birds Seasons.
----
* BewareTheQuietOnes: While his appearance is always followed by the sound of a gong and gusts of wind, the dragon itself is completely silent as he flies in, making it just about the only character in the series not to make a vocalization when it attacks.
* BlackSheep: In a series where almost every major character is either a bird or a pig, the Mighty Dragon stands out for being, well... a dragon.
* DeathFromAbove: The dragon when summoned flies in from above and crashes into any structure in his path, he even throws in a couple of loop-the-loops just to show off his flight skills.
* DelightfulDragon: The dragon seems more than willing to aid the birds on their mission to save the eggs from the pigs, being able to be summoned using the Red Koi. He is also stated to be good friends with the Mighty Eagle.
* FeatheredDragons: His head and tail are both covered in plumage, giving off a feathered appearance.
* InconsistentColoring: The carp used to summon him in the game is bright red, but is solid gold in most promotional material. The color change was likely done because gold carp are used as breakable materials in the game.
* NoNameGiven: He's only ever referred to as Mighty Dragon, unlike his avian counterpart he's never actually been given a name.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: He's a traditional Chinese dragon, though to fit the Angry Birds style he completely lacks limbs and boasts incredibly large eyebrows.
* PickyEater: In the Angry Birds comics he is shown to be an extremely picky eater, rejecting offerings of both canned sardines and freshly picked fruit, only being satiated when given fresh koi carp after he notices one Red recently fished up.
* PutOnABus: Probably has it the worst out of any character in the Angry Birds series, he only appears in one chapter of Angry Birds Seasons and a few comics here and there.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Carp, specifically freshly caught carp.
