* ''VideoGame/{{Xenosaga}} I''[='=]s soundtrack was composed by the venerable Music/YasunoriMitsuda:
** ''Xenosaga I''[='=]s [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_NKJNo7nx8 battle theme]]. Pure orchestral awesome.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdSSxxnIjzE Life or Death.]] Perfect for when your ship has been invaded and you need to either find a way off or fight off whatever's invading.
** The final boss fight theme, appropriately called [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3sErgVX25w "Last Battle",]] is surprisingly minimalistic yet incredible.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6YBMmmeY1w Breaking Space Ship Pursuit]]. A song so epic, it was simply too awesome for battle music, so they made it a random scene.
* The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_NKJNo7nx8 Battle Theme]] is pure win.
%%** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzVA4tDyVXk Nephilim.]]
%%** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izpN6hWBKIk The Resurrection]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZ6ufAOSUhM Last Battle]].
%%** The credits theme, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAVApcrgFzs Kokoro.]]
%%* ''Episode II'' was a weird one. It had two composers: Shinji Hosoe, who took care of the in-game music and low-quality cinematics, and Music/YukiKajiura, who took care of the music for the high-quality cinematics. Kajiura's tracks are utterly amazing, special mentions going to:
%%** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kJKM1dmZj8 Communication Breakdown]]
%%** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtA-iLt2rgw Fatal Fight (Jin Vs. Margulis)]]
%%** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bizbbwBrxFE Lamentation]]
* While a lot are quick to put down Hosoe's tracks as being of "lesser quality" than Kajiura's, or Mitsuda's Episode I tracks, his work here is honestly still really good, especially [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njeMfiMF3M8 the normal battle]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRRFMSh3noo major boss battle]] themes, the latter of which is significant given ''Episode I'' never had a dedicated boss theme of its own.
%%* The area themes, like [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHu9nyPv8mI Second Miltia/the Spaceport]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQiVvRz0t50 the Uzuki residence]], and the dungeon themes, like [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STGNIDZAT8s Labyrinthos]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwm5aOKsZa0 Submerged Old Miltia]].
* Music/YukiKajiura took care of ''Xenosaga Episode III'' all on her own, treating us with another amazing soundtrack:
** Special mention must be given to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUcxlxhlRvo godsibb]], which is widely regarded to be one of the best songs in the series. Its [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrBk3oZ2jc0 live performance]] is a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome on its own.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KX9L6YkA78 Abel's Ark]] is also quite beautiful, and slightly unsettling. Also a CallBack tune to "One Who Bares Fangs At God" and "The One Who is Torn Apart" from ''Xenogears''.
* The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esff29V0688 "Sakura" theme]] in ''Episode II'' and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGye3lBCrJ0 "Hepatica" theme]] in ''Episode III'' (arguably the themes for their respective games) are truly awesome. Not in the way to inspire awe and terror, but the way they draw out TenderTears in how ''beautiful'' they are. The song "Testament" from ''Episode III'' can produce similar feelings... Well, at least [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHYzMLEeXhY the beginning part of it.]]
