This series has its roots in sound novels, which is a subset of visual novels that puts extra focus on the music, so maybe it shouldn't be a surprise that they have a lot of great music. Here's some of the top stuff.

[[folder:''Higurashi: When They Cry'']]
* The defining song of the series would have to be [[https://youtu.be/c4oRcLE7SMk You ~Destructive~]]. For added awesomeness, watch [[https://youtu.be/2wP1jCpaKKs Akasaka's fight scene]] with this music.
** As well as the original "[[https://youtu.be/JngcYU9XzYw You]]," one of the most heartbreaking songs in the series.
** [[https://youtu.be/cBMTy-EtfLM The instrumental version]] is just as powerful.
* Of the ''Dear You'' character song remixes, [[https://youtu.be/22kqCh2LtHY Dear You ~Kizuna~]] really stands out as the most beautiful and moving. Runner up is [[https://youtu.be/DXnRBokWmDo Kokoro Musubi]] for most emotional, especially Shion's part at the end.
%%* [[https://youtu.be/FEuJeNMDcQo Yui]] is pretty powerful.
* [[https://youtu.be/BSqH1t7qpLQ Assault Operations]] is Awesome Music for Akasaka and Kasai, but Funny Music for [[ButtMonkey Tomitake]].
* The reason some of the scenes in Tsumihoroboshi were so powerful was because of [[https://youtu.be/cuY_v9k9W0E Birth and Death]]. It got an equally heartbreaking remix in Umineko as [[https://youtu.be/9FAsbUm0hIQ My Dear]]. That, [[https://youtu.be/iu_V5rjbLG8 Uro]] and [[https://youtu.be/imXd_Ip3KzM LIVE]] from Minagoroshi are otherwise known as [[TearJerker TearJerking]] [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic Music]]. (And yes, Uro was in the fanmade Onikakushi video.)
* [[https://youtu.be/-12Det1bAcs Naraku no Hana]] is one of the most powerful and epic {{Anime Theme Song}}s ever.
* [[https://youtu.be/INz97M5djbc Taishō a]], one of the best Anime {{Ending Theme}}s ever.
* [[https://youtu.be/zdEwKBM7jsw Samayoi no Kotoba wa Ten ni Michibikare]] is an intense piece that plays during the climax of the Tsumihoroboshi VN when [[spoiler:Keiichi and friends finally take the upper hand in Rena's hostage situation]].
* [[https://youtu.be/C8uwxDihWcU Zero]], which played at the end of Tsumihoroboshi's VN. A cheerful pop-punk track that lets you know you finally finished an arc that ''doesn't'' end in a DownerEnding ([[spoiler:until you read the final TIP]]).
* Two of the most touching pieces in the soundtrack - [[https://youtu.be/bO8nVzy2FeE Tsugunai no Kotoba]] and [[https://youtu.be/hXi48ffiWj0 Hitori]].
* [[https://youtu.be/2mdCzjdoy0w Fearlessness]] [[HotBlooded lives up to its title]].
* Incredibly badass music titled [[https://youtu.be/zz7wX8n1tgg Cross-Examination]]? It seems ''Umineko'' isn't the only part of the series that's been playing too much ''Franchise/AceAttorney''.
* The first opening, appropriately titled [[https://youtu.be/9opZi6PluKI Higurashi no Naku Koro ni,]] shows exactly what the mood of the first season is like. It was iconic enough that it capped the premiere episode of ''Gou'', playing when Keiichi finds the newspaper articles in the dump and continuing through the credits.
* Kizuna's [[http://fyeah07thexpansionmusic.tumblr.com/post/40718728049/%E5%BD%A9%E9%9F%B3-angelic-bright "Angelic bright"]] and Matsuri's [[http://fyeah07thexpansionmusic.tumblr.com/post/52970295041/ayane-%E3%82%B3%E3%83%B3%E3%83%97%E3%83%AC%E3%83%83%E3%82%AF%E3%82%B9%E3%82%A4%E3%83%9E%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B8%E3%83%A5 "Complex Image"]].
** Matsuri's [[http://fyeah07thexpansionmusic.tumblr.com/post/125130526337 "Nageki no Mori"]].
** Also from the Kizuna series, we've got [[https://youtu.be/sQx1qk5m2J4 "Tsuisou no Despair"]], [[http://fyeah07thexpansionmusic.tumblr.com/post/75298851484/%E8%AB%AB%E5%B1%B1%E5%AE%9F%E7%94%9F-%E3%83%97%E3%83%AC%E3%82%A4%E3%82%B9%E3%82%AA%E3%83%96%E3%83%94%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AA%E3%83%89 "Place of Period"]], and [[https://youtu.be/ISeAI4-U9oY "Hikari no Sora no Qualia"]].
* [[https://youtu.be/jEpZq8mT9Ts "Fascism"]] from Watanagashi-hen and Tatarigoroshi-hen. Even though the version used suffers from unintentionally severe LoudnessWar, the composition is still capable of evoking the dread Keiichi feels during the scenes where it plays with its creepy violin melody that slowly becomes more intense. If the issues with the music are too much for you, [[https://youtu.be/I9Mr05uls3g here]] is a version that doesn't have them, so you can hear the tune the way it was meant to be.
%%* [[https://youtu.be/mqEtLDN1Ohc Gear]]
* [[https://youtu.be/_YRX1S6M4Ps Rainy Days]] (for the feeling of "something's fishy here" done very, very well)
%%* [[https://youtu.be/BDdewvQmIko Silver Mirror]]
* [[https://youtu.be/wb2bFXo48T8 Orange-Colored Time]] is perfectly representative of the peaceful, happy days at the start of the Question Arcs, and makes you regret that they can't last any longer.
* [[https://youtu.be/oB7lctRjHZY Demonic Institute]] really gets intense terror across.
* [[https://youtu.be/JoFAbnFETtI "Dancers7"]]. You can really feel your mind running at the speed of light along with with Keiichi's, when it plays during [[spoiler: his planning of Teppei's murder]] in Tatarigoroshi. It is surprisingly cold and dark, with a hint of fury, as a murderer needs to be.
* [[https://youtu.be/g6Z8NGsA3r8 Saigo No Cycle]][[note]]The last cycle[[/note]] from Matsuribayashi is pretty epic.
* [[https://youtu.be/IgfxMGBa9Ks Shukusai]] from the [[{{Fingore}} nail-ripping scene]] in the VisualNovel is ear-gratingly awesome.
* [[https://youtu.be/23rJCJm3Hw8 Utu]] helped make already creepy scenes that extra touch to really scare the players.
* [[https://youtu.be/JR0SvgLy_D8 Mienai Nanika ni Obieru Yoru]] is a [[AutobotsRockOut rocking]] tune that first plays during [[MundaneMadeAwesome the water gun fight]] at the start of Tsumihoroboshi. However, it is at its most awesome when it plays during [[spoiler:the fight between Keiichi and Rena on the school's rooftop]] at the end of that same arc. The action, excitement, and hint of fun it conveys perfectly fits how [[spoiler:the "fun" Rena has fighting with Keiichi manages to restore her sanity]].
* Many of the image songs are also SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic material, like Rika Furude's [[https://youtu.be/9qgk1X5ZvGA Mugen Kairou]] between the cute beginning and end [[note]]As for the lyrics... [[https://youtu.be/x08ICcJWDzc Not so sugar sweet now, is it?]][[/note]]. [[https://youtu.be/Aw2k3cRzUMo Bon Karma]] is the BigBad's Image song [[note]]It should go without saying to watch Kai before this[[/note]], and also qualifies. Rena and Hanyuu's songs are perhaps more cute than awesome.
* Matsuribayashi's [[https://youtu.be/0jBMV0OSFJQ Being]] Shows Hanyuu's determination to fight fate [[spoiler: and Takano]] in the final world, while [[https://youtu.be/Nhjs3G1_MpU Festival]] is the theme of the Watanagashi festival that arc.
* From Matsuri, [[https://youtu.be/MgfKeqLDrD4 "Free"]] is a HUGE TearJerker when it's played. [[https://youtu.be/hXi48ffiWj0 "Hitori"]] is cute, but is just depressing when played in the Matsuri-only Taraimawashi-hen [[spoiler: when Mion becomes a ComatoseCanary]], and in the end of Tatarigoroshi-hen.
* [[https://youtu.be/jv3MqnhWhec Shirokiri no Itadaki -Blanc Pur- (White Mist Peak -Pure White-)]] is cold, ominous, and incredibly fitting for the [[spoiler:Yamainu's attack]] in ''Minagoroshi-hen''.
* [[https://youtu.be/2z0wyugIHW8 "Solitude from Meakashi-hen"]] gives off exactly the described feeling.
* [[https://youtu.be/LjHPSn865d4 "Confession"]] stands out as one of the most tear-jerking songs to incorporate You into it.
* And then there's [[https://youtu.be/uCOOftNV6TU "Conviction"]], which has the most beautiful and tear jerking piano opening ever.
* [[https://youtu.be/32YZCMPyVbE Depressive Paranoia]] gives you a hint of what it feels like to be in a dark room filled with torture tools, listening to the gruesome stories of a NightmareFetishist PsychopathicWomanchild. A background music in all its glory: it's discreet but it doubles the tension.
* In the [=MangaGamer=] version, [[https://youtu.be/wJbfk_22ga0 Track 15]] (replacing Dancers 7) and [[https://youtu.be/-kXPTbc3j_A Track 16]] (replacing Lies Lies Lies) do their job extremely well. The former as a cold-blooded, fast and furious murder theme, the latter as a downright depressing funeral song. They arguably work better than the original musics in their respective contexts.
* [[https://youtu.be/nBBSq8edcBA Ode to the Moon]], a truly epic piano piece playing during [[spoiler:Takano's AGodAmI speech]] in Episode 7.
* [[https://youtu.be/DItjVKPMkjw Mienu Mirai]], an intense rock track with Japanese flute that plays during the breakout at the start of Meakashi and perfectly captures Shion's determination to escape the school.
* For Rei, there's the OP [[https://youtu.be/idovoRQuKx0 "Super scription of data"]]. Ties in to Rika's desires to find a world where she can beat fate.
* For Gou, we now have the OP [[https://youtu.be/x2Lza41FxsY "I Believe What You Said"]]. While it returns to the slightly creepy feeling of past openings, it keeps the rock ballad style to tie in with Rika, who had previously escaped her fate, once again being forced to fight for her life. Additionally, with the second half of Gou, it masterfully tells the story of the falling out between [[spoiler: Satoko and Rika]] when they attended St. Lucia Academy together. The opening, in that sense, can be interpreted as [[spoiler: Satoko]] directing the song to [[spoiler: Rika]] about how she had seemingly forgotten of the promise they made.
* Gou's ending, [[https://youtu.be/E4_pLpqerqQ "God's Syndrome,"]] is an epic and mournful number about the helplessness and exhaustion Rika has come to feel on this endless journey she has gone through for all these years, with gorgeously rendered pastel illustrations depicting the joys and miseries of Hinamizawa in time with the music.
* Gou's second ending theme "[[https://youtu.be/HgApJDy0eDY Irregular Entropy]]" perfectly conveys the mental deterioration of [[spoiler: Satoko]] once she is revealed to be the [[spoiler: second looper]] in episode 17. With its upbeat punk, it also serves as a bridge between ''Higurashi'' and ''Umineko'' once [[spoiler: Featherine Augustus Aurora]] makes her arrival.

[[folder:Opening and Ending Themes]]
This wouldn't be a proper listing of all the awesome music in Umineko without getting into its epic opening and ending themes.
----
* The anime adaptation intro, [[https://youtu.be/EtKBs3BbHGs Katayoku no Tori]], features impressive Japanese and Italian vocals, lyrics that effectively match the imagery of the series[[note]]the title means "one-winged bird," a reference to the Ushiromiya crest[[/note]] and an overall catchy tune.
%%* [[https://youtu.be/MMM_BPTYglM OH DESIAH!]]
* [[https://youtu.be/uz9pdxPYNw4 Umineko no Naku Koro Ni]], pure epicness ([[https://youtu.be/WajcPobpVj8 full version]]).
%%** [[https://youtu.be/oa_lnHy-jFo As is the Rengoku version.]]
%%** ''[[SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound Senza amore,]] [[ArcWords senza amore,]] [[OneWomanWail la verità non si vede!]]''
* Episodes 5 and 6's opening: [[http://fyeah07thexpansionmusic.tumblr.com/post/97468826125/dottily-occultics-witch-ayumu Occultics no Majou]] (Occultics Witch). Now here's the [[https://youtu.be/LeGOT_pusSE full version]] in all of its awesomeness.
* [[https://youtu.be/fzoL_rK2kwM Kiri no Pitosu]] (Pithos in the Fog), opening for Episodes 7 and 8, and [[https://youtu.be/_mqu9yzts8M the full version.]]
* The ending themes in the VisualNovel:
** [[https://youtu.be/EWDpCAt2LGI Bring the Fate]] (main story ending) and [[https://youtu.be/KSIeb1evImM Prison STRIP]] (Tea Party ending) from Episode 1.
** The ending of Episode 2, [[https://youtu.be/xgZDxwoaINk Senritsu ~ shirabe]]. A slow, mysterious and enchanting song, quite in contrast with the endings after that.
** The ending song of Episode 3, [[https://youtu.be/6vIEvg0TNcI activepain]] is pretty cool and catchy.
** [[https://youtu.be/ZhnKrRxLOXo Discode]], the ending from Episode 4, is oddly catchy.
** [[https://youtu.be/t5WbC-blm5U Tsubasa, version Hope]] from Episode 5.
** [[https://youtu.be/JTXVblPUnhU Suspicious Aroma]] from Episode 6.
** The ending theme of [=EP7=]: [[https://youtu.be/k3hZacCjwQ8 Namae no Nai Uta (The Song Without A Name)]]. There's also its [[http://fyeah07thexpansionmusic.tumblr.com/post/112946610182/suzushinayuriko-if-we-liken-marias-sense-of full version]] from the Noblesse Oblige album. Try also [[https://youtu.be/JZrLFLgabGU the piano version of this song]].
** And the grand ending theme, ''[[https://youtu.be/vWXoKFOj58c Byakumu no Mayu -Ricordando il passato-'']] (Cocoon of White Dreams ~remembering the past~), a very beautiful and touching song that perfectly captures the BittersweetEnding.
* The opening of the fighting game, [[https://youtu.be/5MTmMprmZIw Ougon Musou Kyoku ~ Konjiki no Chi ni Somaru Mae ni]] (Dyed with Golden Blood). [[https://youtu.be/AVrJDEPrULk The full version]]. Amazingly, the [[https://youtu.be/RO1UFtTbjSg full instrumental version]] works very well as a final boss battle music.
%%*[[http://fyeah07thexpansionmusic.tumblr.com/post/53958988819/kokomi-%E8%AA%93%E9%9F%BF%E3%81%AE%E3%82%A4%E3%82%B0%E3%83%AC%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B8%E3%83%A3 Chikai Hibiki no Igreja]], the opening theme to the Playstation 3 remake ''Majou to Suiri no Rondo''.
* Ougon Musou Kyoku X's opening theme, [[https://youtu.be/2VuN3pAIvoU Ougon no Kiseki wo Kanaeru Made]] (Fulfill the Golden Miracle), and [[https://youtu.be/-9PBF_bwyzA its full version]] from the Dear Golden Witch album is just as epic as the opening of the PC version. Its [[https://youtu.be/yajwWWt5ZKs instrumental version]] also serves as [[spoiler: Black Battler's]] boss theme.
* And now we have the opening theme, [[https://youtu.be/RgVcXpEj-No Inanna no Mita Yume]] ([[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inanna Inanna's]] Dream), to the Chiru [=PS3=] remake, ''Nocturne of Truth and Illusions''. Its [[https://youtu.be/ku99AAyCDt8 full version]] and [[https://youtu.be/E4xcbt-WQUE the instrumental version]] from CROSS are equally awesome as well.
* Ougon's CROSS Expansion introduces [[https://youtu.be/ObO_3aSakl8 It's Golden Showtime!]], a song many would say is even better than its two predecessors. [[https://youtu.be/yVS8BwsUiAc The instrumental version]] is just as good.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Dai]]
Dai is the music director for the Franchise/WhenTheyCry series, so unsurprisingly, several of the awesome tracks in the series also come from them:
----
* [[https://youtu.be/0J5LF2Udf20 Happiness of Marionette]] perfectly captures the wonder of [[spoiler:Eva finding the gold and being crowned Golden Witch]] during episode 3. It also plays [[SoundtrackDissonance during the ensuing murder scene]], making sure that the imagery of [[spoiler:Rosa and Maria]] being murdered over and over again in [[CruelAndUnusualDeath unusual ways]] will come back to you each time you remember the tune.
* [[https://youtu.be/H7s2Dwjbp_o "Umaretekite Kureta Arigatou"]] ("Thank you for being born"). And as of Episode 6 it has been epically remixed in [[https://youtu.be/aCKSTFWYk5E Rebirth.]]
%%* [[https://youtu.be/cSwKw_oFP24 Ride On]].
* [[https://youtu.be/J4j4hw9sJ-Y Mortal Stampede]] - simply epic.
* [[https://youtu.be/l_PDGz9egt4 Tsubasa]] was mindblowingly awesome. The vocal version is the ending theme for Episode 5, but when you [[https://youtu.be/s5-sesG8xgs change those vocals to electric guitar]] you get a different but equally awesome remix.
* [[https://youtu.be/6Qs9EiK_JJE Endless Nine]] aka [[LetsGetDangerous "Battler gets dangerous"]]. Featuring Microsoft Sam!
%%* [[https://youtu.be/RdQUjTC_vGs Dancing Pipe]] from Episode 3.
* The often forgotten OTHER piece from Episode 3's climax--the one that isn't Tsubasa, but is just as good: [[https://youtu.be/xeGhE7roQ0Q Lost Paradise]]. (Or is that Paradise Lost?)
* Really, all of the songs with little parts of [[https://youtu.be/xOq7ZNTPVug "Hope"]] are good. More precisely: [[https://youtu.be/Nx27VFmbtHk Tomorrow]], [[https://youtu.be/WYHy3VnZRp0 Core]], [[https://youtu.be/0tvhkpa9ud0 White Shadow]], and [[https://youtu.be/YnACsCe2g-E My Dear]].
%%* [[https://youtu.be/SPJXp3xPglY Revolt]] from Episode 4.
* Umineko is also so good at this that it makes piano-driven pieces into epic CMOA. See [[https://youtu.be/7U209xHIvW8 Answer]] (just wait about 40 seconds if you don't hear it) and [[https://youtu.be/xSKWf_20Lkg dir]].
** Answer got [[https://youtu.be/zUdT1H-LIDs EXTENDED]] by about 40 seconds in the [=PS3=] version.
** For more piano-y goodness, [=EP6=]'s "[[https://youtu.be/4BhvHC6DU6I Life]]".
** Another really wonderful one from the same game is [[https://youtu.be/3DQQME1IDWU ALIVE]]. There's a third track too in this game called "[[https://youtu.be/sGgnNl9zbuc Rebirth]]." You noticing a pattern here?
* [[https://youtu.be/wydVCUL9QLg Promise]], from Episode 5. Given it's less Awesome Music and more Tearjerking Music, if you know why... The [=PS3=] Version has a [[https://youtu.be/lVXe-9XB5FY new remake of Promise]].
* A great (and [[TearJerker Tear-jerking]]) remix of "Happiness of Marionette" (with some "Promise" thrown in) called [[https://youtu.be/D0EPDV562wg "Engage of Marionette".]] It's the last music you hear before the final credits roll.
%%* [[https://youtu.be/Zq-HbOF1xvI Final Answer]] from Episode 5.
* Still from Episode 5 is [[https://youtu.be/fvTCklQ-isI JUSTICE]], which notably plays when [[spoiler:Battler revives and ascends to the rank of Endless Sorcerer]] in the the Hidden Tea Party.
* Sakutaro's theme, [[https://youtu.be/68ODs3BPr4o Sakutarou no Ganbarimonogatari]], which incorporates a marimba version of Door to Summer and happiness of marionette for a BGM so adorable that just listening to it will give you diabetes. And to be sure diabetes kill you for good, there is little Ange's theme, [[https://youtu.be/lJLOsoGXST8 Nuigurumi]], playing during the quizz mini-game in Episode 8.
* Dai's half of the OST, "Musicbox Blue" and "Musicbox Kiri no Pithos" (shared with Luck Ganriki), have a load of tracks that weren't used in the games yet at the time of its release; several of them have shown up in the games since, so the others may yet be used. Unfortunately, [[https://youtu.be/EnSJ6oz8mrc Oku]] and [[https://youtu.be/9YQtUIyhmsU Black Knight]] were not among those that get into ''Twilight of the Golden Witch'', but [[https://youtu.be/E1G9rw4XyBE Hishou (Soar)]] did in Episode 8. Also, Black Knight is used in 07th Expansion's next big work, ''VisualNovel/RoseGunsDays''.
** Similarly, the previously unreleased track [[https://youtu.be/56-3lRH7cfA Mata Umarekawaru Hi Made]] (until the day we're reborn), a beautiful mix of ''Umaretekitekurete Arigatou'' and ''happiness of marionette''.
** There are quite a few from "Musicbox Blue," such as [[https://youtu.be/xJM3hl7giS8 The Old Clock]], [[https://youtu.be/2TYPsbdVDDY Witch's Room]], [[https://youtu.be/tGApJwEaxv0 A World Without Witches]], and a few others based on Hope like [[https://youtu.be/Bd4RMbsKlUo Heaven's Floor]] and [[http://whentheyjam.tumblr.com/post/111474081080 Roomless]].
* A song the title of which may be a thank you to all the readers of Umineko: [[https://youtu.be/LK-39ZNTX7g Thanks of all people.]]
* From Episode 6 we have the beautiful yet sad [[https://youtu.be/L0SwT7cmPPE Loreley.]]
* [[https://youtu.be/hMGa71r1sdY Tomorrow's awesome orchestral arrangement]] in the Fighting game ''Ougon Musou Kyoku''.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: ZTS ]]
The doujin music composer ZTS also makes several tracks in Umineko, and they have the trademark of making at least one incredibly epic piece per episode.
----
* [[https://youtu.be/xAupQUUglkU goldenslaughterer]], the "corpse discovery" theme. The deep synth at the start is the feeling of discovering the corpse of a loved one would sound like made into sound, while the orchestral strings, hard-hitting drum rhythm, and synth captures the feeling of dread that grows into a desire to find the culprit and tear them a new one.
%%* [[https://youtu.be/mVr0IUQ6BwE worldenddominator]] from Episode 2.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcG0nYC89tQ miragecoordinator]] from Episode 3 is used for the ClimaxBoss scene, and later reused in other dramatic fights, mixing the feelings of grandeur, despair, and childish cuteness.
%%* [[https://youtu.be/zDPJuAxZaOo dreamenddischarger]] from Episode 4.
* [[https://youtu.be/kqjm6QZOeUs resurrectedreplayer]] from Episode 5, a remix of "goldenslaughterer" with some bits of "Far" in the middle, combines synths, harpsichord, violins, and piano to make the perfect background music for a battle of wits.
%%* Episode 6 brings us [[https://youtu.be/-QTgPfN-GcA liberatedliberater]].
* Another remix of "goldenslaughterer" is the fantastic [[https://youtu.be/euezX9D3aDE the_executioner]] in EP 7. The beginning sounds like the awakening of a dragon, prompting you to start running for your life. The rest of the song also lets you know the characters are up against a massively powerful being.
%%* [[https://youtu.be/u_v4lNf4_fo lastendconductor]] from Episode 8.
* From Episode 3, [[https://youtu.be/Rd5Vt_qct0s Far]]. Starts slow and sweet, then ascends to a really heartwarming violin piece. Its Episode 7 piano remix, [[https://youtu.be/Nivz895rGYc Far (Flat)]], is equally awesome.
* [[https://youtu.be/SGwL97BRAOE Deadangle]], and its breathtakingly pretty remix, [[https://youtu.be/6hJ7SfceTWw Discolor]].
%%* [[https://youtu.be/sUeuouV4SJk Death (from Stupefaction)]].
* [[https://youtu.be/6wZHeQL-cVg Rain]] from [=EP7=], a [[TearJerker heartbreaking]], melancholic song that fits its title.
* [[https://youtu.be/lrmr_vHpZI8 Ridicule]], a fantastically creepy track from [=EP7=].
* [[https://youtu.be/eBo7QL__wZQ Dive to Emergency]] from [=EP4=] wouldn't sound out of place in ''[[Manga/{{Naruto}} Naruto Shippuden]]''.
* [[https://youtu.be/OpMOfYIAo5s How]] [[https://youtu.be/fH2p8S5GNAM about]] [[https://youtu.be/lKGth0tx4xk orchestral]] [[https://youtu.be/9snMOt-nsi8 remixes]] of already fantastic tracks by Glasun-Neko?
* [[https://youtu.be/fAKkw71ff3U Worldend dominator,]] an amazingly intense track.
%%* The unused [[https://youtu.be/MQZW6021QRk Last End]] from "Chiru Music Box Red."
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Luck Ganriki]]
* [[https://youtu.be/pyzV_zgmT50 Organ Short #600 Million in C Minor]], Beato's {{Leitmotif}}, is a [[OminousPipeOrgan creepy organ fugue]] with a hint of mischief that perfectly represents her {{troll}} personality.
%%* [[https://youtu.be/6Y5m8QS0c8o HIBUTA]] from Episode 4 and its Ougon Musou remix, [[https://youtu.be/bqEU1hMBlB4 HIBUTA 2011]].
* [[https://youtu.be/kZB7aTrX2bE Smile-less soiree]] is a musical illustration of the stifling atmosphere on Rokkenjima from Episode 5.
* [[https://youtu.be/kcTxd5qQChw Deep Blue Jeer (Ao Shoku no Reishou)]], the leitmotif of the man from 19 years ago in Episode 5. The Ougon Musou remix, [[https://youtu.be/wzyDJrdoGXc Aoiro no Reishou 2011]] is also awesome, if even darker than Umineko's main MindRape theme.
* [[https://youtu.be/pAkvF7HkFEY Birth of a New Witch]] from Episode 6. [[https://youtu.be/clP4e6x-4hU The vocal version of this song.]] Used to great effect during the final scene of EP6.
* Beatrice's ImageSong, [[https://youtu.be/70klHdh8l8o Golden Nocturne]] is pretty awesome by itself. So why not make it even more awesome by [[https://youtu.be/nnTwpWn-7IM stripping the vocals and turning it into an awesome BGM?]]
* [[https://youtu.be/30kl0eCtbcU Usan no Kaori (Suspicious Aroma)]], and the [[https://youtu.be/JTXVblPUnhU vocal version]] used as Episode 6's ending theme.
* And of course, [[https://youtu.be/utPpd8q-xpM Happy Maria]] and its [[IndecipherableLyrics infamously incomprehensible lyrics]] (which, incidentally, has a totally badass [[https://youtu.be/02KaUff0HEo rock version]]. Kihihihihihi!).
* [[https://youtu.be/mPkKuKc4-2I Gray Empty Smile]] is another OminousPipeOrgan piece (''Umineko'' sure loves that trope), and probably the most ominous one of them all. The second half switches from in-your-face evilness to a more subdued creepiness.

* [[https://youtu.be/EhNzAXhDbfo Akai Kutsu Nise]] (Fake Red Shoes) from the duel between Virgilia and Beatrice in Episode 3. The mix of synth and harpsichord intensifies the [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMoments awesome fight scene]], with the two witches [[SerialEscalation pulling out increasingly powerful spells]].
* [[https://youtu.be/9uy6rfyZwnU The Girls' Witch Hunt]], [[https://youtu.be/ggn8riHTDqw Kuina]], and the tense yet catchy [[https://youtu.be/dORf0tLaSn8 Tsugihagi Kimera]] from Episode 5.

* [[https://youtu.be/Dbl6ysbQh6o Infant Queen Bee]] from Episode 6 is equally awesome. The song plays during some of the most tragic situations, when all hope seems lost, and the truth of just how dire things are weight heavily on everyone involved. Notably, it plays right at the end of episode 7 during the tea party, in which [[spoiler:the true story of what happened on the island is gleefully revealed to Ange by Bernkastel, who proceeds to gut Clair for good measure]].

* [[https://youtu.be/asI8hvS6Ho4 Surrounding]] is one of the most badass pieces in the game's music history, as it feels like that moment when the character is going to reveal their true strength and start kicking ass. The piano chord at 1:25 is the best part of the song.

* By the same composer of Dread of the Grave: [[https://youtu.be/jS4oJi4U9IQ Victima Propiciatoria]] from Episode 4 lures you in with some alluring violin before hitting you in the face with a powerful accordion melody.
* From the very beginning of episode 1, you have the heart-rending stillness of [[https://youtu.be/IU4dXsOcEos Slow Motion]] which feels like looking out a sunlit window, and catching sight of a solitary butterfly. [[https://youtu.be/plZX3cD_BLk Tekuteku]] Captures the regal, somber air of the Ushiromiya household.
* [[https://youtu.be/FT2CRNt-hRc Kin'iro no Choushou ~Uruwashi no Bansan~]]. Basically, if Music/AkikoShikata sings it, it's guaranteed to be awesome.
* [[https://youtu.be/1A44lG8CJfA Rog-Limitation]] is a very awesome piece from Episode 6. The remix [[https://youtu.be/p0vqWi0nb0c rog-unlimitation]] kicks an already awesome piece up.
* [[https://youtu.be/tG8M7rdAI3U Black Liliana]] from Akiyama Uni, starting in Episode 2. With a impressive fan-made [[https://youtu.be/Pa8a89LqxG8 vocal version]].
