* ''WesternAnimation/IceAgeTheMeltdown'' has the majestic "[[https://youtu.be/KHaTudYdFF4 Mammoths]]", which plays at the end of the film when Manny and Ellie discover the large herd of mammoths cresting the hill. It might as well be the Cenozoic equivalent of ''Film/JurassicPark''.
* The main theme for ''WesternAnimation/Shrek1'', "Fairytale" (which was co-scored with Harry Gregson-Williams) is a hauntingly beautiful leitmotif which manages to fit with the series' tongue-in-cheek tone. Furthermore, it managed to become the opening fanfare of all of [[Creator/DreamWorksAnimation DreamWorks Animation's]] films to come after, and whenever [[LogoJoke/DreamWorks they do their]] [[Main/LogoJoke logo gag]], expect to hear some variation of it.
* ''Franchise/HowToTrainYourDragon'':
** Not only does [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CJ96LGGP6w "Forbidden Friendship"]] absolutely ''make'' the film's SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} between Hiccup and Toothless, it is also quite possibly the most beautiful four minutes and twelve seconds ever created.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IBlQj2U5kU "Test Drive"]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY07_dX3F88 "Romantic Flight"]] come close, though.
** The entire soundtrack of ''WesternAnimation/{{How to Train Your Dragon|2010}}'' is one of the most awesome musical scores to ever be paired with a movie, let alone an animated one. Just listening to it all the way through is a roller coaster for the ears, and you can really tell why this was the one score that got John Powell nominated for an Oscar.
%%** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyH9TQ9nPjo Every single track]] from ''WesternAnimation/HowToTrainYourDragon2''.
%%"Every single track" is not a proper example. Be specific.
* Powell + Music/BlueManGroup + ''WesternAnimation/{{Robots}}'' = [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doTDCRzXZsU WIN!]]
* Many people didn't care for the musical numbers in ''WesternAnimation/{{The Lorax|2012}}'', but the VillainSong is [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0frZxH_asqM not to be missed.]] There's also the emotional song [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADCq2ga5dVI "Funeral For A Tree",]] and the more [[TriumphantReprise uplifting]] final song [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Slpz0D35oRI "Let It Grow".]]
* The full climax of ''WesternAnimation/HortonHearsAWho2008'', especially [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3Fxellmmkc "We Are Here".]]
* The entire soundtrack for ''WesternAnimation/ChickenRun'' is superb, but the track titled "Building the Crate" is one of the most uplifting pieces of film music ever heard from a kid's film. The track is followed up by "The Chickens are Revolting", which concludes the preceding track so triumphantly you might even shed a tear.
* Cheesy as it was, ''Literature/PSILoveYou'' had an [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3EIq3FMvgs absolutely gorgeous piece]] that really shows Powell's sentiment style. It feels like the perfect music for coming home somewhere.
%%* Film/MrAndMrsSmith2005 has what's perhaps the ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usbtbBcglO4 Best...Tango...EVER!!]]''
%%* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SHPUwgP7aY Death and Transfiguration]] from ''Hancock''.
%%* Several tracks from ''WesternAnimation/HappyFeet'' stand out:
%%** "Wives Ho!"
%%** "Leopard Seal"
%%** "Bob's LED"
%%** "Exile"
%%** "Gloria Joins"
%%** "Fun Food Storm"
%%** "Killer Whales"
%%** "The Alien Ships"
%%** "In the Zoo"
%%** "First Contact"
%%** "Tap Versus Chant"
%%** "Helicopter"
%%** "Communication"
%%The above examples have been commented out for being zero-context. Do not uncomment them without expanding them to explain why EACH track is awesome.
