Then it cuts to a brief interlude of traditional Japanese instrumentation before returning to insane metal. |

All of this builds up to an absolutely beautiful ending, signifying that after decades of inner torment, lasting hatred, and longing for atonement, Testament has finally found peace. |

Another interpretation is that these are the original Bedman's final thoughts before his death, and another is that this is the original Bedman's post-death experience, his soul moving to another dimension but unable to know peace and trying to break free because of his intense determination to be with Delilah. |
