Yes, even a series as child-oriented as ''Winnie-the-Pooh'' can be awesome.
----
* ''Awesome/TheNewAdventuresOfWinnieThePooh''
* ''Awesome/PoohsGrandAdventure''
* ''Awesome/TheTiggerMovie''
----
* Pooh himself gets ''two'' [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome Moments of Awesome]] in the penultimate chapter of the original novel, when the forest is flooded; first when he makes a boat out of an empty honey pot and uses it to paddle all the way from his own house to Christopher Robin's, the second one when he gets a moment's flash of brilliance and suggests that they can make Christopher Robin's umbrella a boat so that both of them can row over to Piglet's house and rescue him.
* And in the sequel, ''The House At Pooh Corner,'' it's ''Piglet'' who gets two Moments of Awesome. The first, and by far the most dramatic one, is when Owl's house is knocked over in a storm, trapping Pooh, Piglet and Owl inside -- and Piglet is the only one small enough to squeeze out through the letterbox and go get help. The second one, which also happens in ''Many Adventures,'' is also the SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} when he gives up his own house so that Owl will have a place to live.
* Piglet also gets two in ''Return to the Hundred Acre Wood'', first when he goes down a well to unclog it so the animals can get water, and then later when he scores the winning bat for his team in a game of cricket.
* Pooh navigating his way out of the misty forests simply by listening to his honey pots at home call to him.
* In ''WesternAnimation/BooToYouTooWinnieThePooh'', Piglet has spent the entire movie literally afraid of his own shadow. Towards the end, Piglet sees Pooh stuck in a tree and Tigger and Eeyore are both in-costume trying to get him down, but Piglet thinks his friend is being attacked by spookables. So what's a small, timid animal to do? Why, pilot a homemade BambooTechnology mecha into battle and save his friend, of course!
* It's easy to miss but during the climax of ''WesternAnimation/AWinnieThePoohThanksgiving'' after Owl trips and hurtles a tower of fine china towards Piglet and Eeyore, Eeyore actually knocks Piglet out of the way so he avoids the onslaught.
* In [[WesternAnimation/WinnieThePooh2011 the 2011 film]], though it goes largely unacknowledged: Pooh manages to rub two brain cells together long enough to figure out that he can make a ladder out of the letters that fell into the pit, and does so, allowing everybody else climb out along with him.
** Also, in that movie, Tigger has finally been [[PromotionToOpeningTitles put in the title song.]] For fans of the 1977 movie, this always annoyed us.
* In ''WesternAnimation/PoohsHeffalumpMovie'', Lumpy ''finally'' learns how to properly trumpet like a heffalump and call his mother, who frees Roo from the ditch covered by fallen logs.
* As uncomfortable as the special might be, you have to give the ''Series/WelcomeToPoohCorner'' special ''Too Smart For Strangers'' credit for something; unlike most uses of [[TooSmartForStrangers this trope]], it actually gets the message right, as it does go into detail about how a predator can be someone you know as well as strangers, and it clarifies that there are some specific people you should trust, like police officers.
* ''Series/TheBookOfPooh'' is a rarity in that has not just one but ''three'' significant times Piglet outright loses his temper and takes a stand against the others for mistreating him:
** In "King of the Heffalumps", Piglet is repeatedly ignored during a group meeting. Eventually during the second meeting he gets annoyed enough to scream a harsh ''"STOOOOOP!!!"'', leaving everyone in stunned silence long enough for him to make his own suggestion.
** In "Chez Piglet" after being dragged around in Rabbit's restaurant scheme (and being made to do most of the work) and then torn into when Rabbit decides to play food critic as well, Piglet finally blasts into Rabbit that he's utterly sick of the idea. While he is immediately sorry afterwards, he still makes his point very clear to Rabbit.
** In "A Welcome to Beat the Band With", the group start a band and Rabbit (again) becomes a prima donna, leading to most of the band members storming out. After Piglet struggles to work a tuba (that he already told Rabbit he couldn't handle), Rabbit chastises him for not taking the performance seriously, leading Piglet to snap back angrily that he told him he couldn't play the tuba and storm off as well.
