* The moment when it is revealed that the slacker Reaper Koki Kariya is actually one [[AlmightyJanitor of the most powerful Reapers]], and passes up chances to advance in rank simply because he doesn't want a desk job. Even his boss fight is great, since he complains about having to fight the whole time.
** Coupled with a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} with the none-too-subtle hint that there's another, bigger reason he doesn't want a promotion: [[ShipTease so he can stay paired up with Uzuki]].
** Not to mention his and Uzuki’s [[MirrorBoss boss fight.]] Not only do he and Uzuki share the Light Puck mechanic as Neku and his partners but they also have their own Fusion to boot, making for one of the most challenging boss fights in the game.
* And then there's Minamimoto's last attack at the end of the second week. How many villains set off their final attack - a ginormous nuke - by reciting [[MundaneMadeAwesome the first]] ''[[FormulaicMagic one-hundred and fifty]]'' [[MouthfulOfPi digits of freakin' Pi]]? Because he sure did.
** Especially awesome if you get the joke of him calling the attack "Level ''i'' Flare". In ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'', Flare is one of the most powerful Black Magic spells; "Level x Flare" targets all enemies with the level divisible by the number given. Since ''i'' squared is -1, and -1 squared is 1, then every level that is a multiple of 1 is a multiple of -1, and thus a multiple of ''i''. Meaning that Level ''i'' Flare is an immensely powerful magic that targets [[LimitBreak every enemy]] (or simply everyone on the screen), [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu including those with imaginary levels]]. Kinda like Level 1 Flare, but targeting a wider variety of enemies, and with a [[RuleOfCool cooler name]]. Level ''i'' flare is so immensely powerful because it hits enemies on every plane simultaneously, which is why it was even a threat to Joshua in the first place: he doesn't have all his godlike powers in the RG, so he would have been seriously hurt, if not killed.
** And soon afterwards finding out why everyone says Joshua is a Jesus analogue.
* Week 3, Day 1: Neku and Beat start towards the Shibuya River. Unfortunately, there's a wall between the bus terminal and the station underpass, and with no Support Reapers to give them a task they can't get through it. Beat's reaction?
-->Stupid [=@#!%(#^)^@^¥=] WALL! I ain't got time for this! Get in my way, and I'ma BREAK you! ''[[TheJuggernaut (he does)]]''
** The next screen reveals that [[SubvertedTrope he had a keypin to open the wall]]... but his reaction to Neku's observation of 'smash' implies that [[DoubleSubverted he didn't use it on that one]].
* Beat in general gets his fair share of badass moments in the game.
** On Week 1, Day 3, Neku and Shiki have seemingly defeated the golden bat boss only to find that their timers are still going. All hope seems lost when suddenly [[BigDamnHeroes Beat and Rhyme]] arrive in the nick of time to land the final blow, saving everyone from getting Erased.
** Week 3, Day 1 comes around and Neku soon finds himself without any potential partners due to Kitaniji taking every other Player as his Entry Fee. If that wasn’t bad enough, multiple Noise show up to fully Erase him, with Uzuki and Kariya in tow. However, before he meets his end, Beat shows up out of nowhere, angered by the unfair situation Neku is in and subsequently makes a pact with him to help him out. [[BashBrothers Together, the two of them take down the Noise in record speed.]] And the reason why Beat does this in the first place? [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments To pay Neku back for returning Rhyme’s pendant to him.]]
** As the last day of the final week comes around, Beat suddenly finds himself [[CessationOfExistence slowly fading away from his existence due to not accumulating enough points in his time as a Reaper.]] ''[[{{Determinator}} Cue Beat keeping himself from fading away with nothing but sheer willpower.]] ''[[BigBrotherInstinct As he himself puts it, he can’t afford to fail when Rhyme needs him.]]
* Before confronting the final boss, Neku and the others come across a defeated Sho Minamimoto underneath a pile of junk after what is outright implied to be a CurbStompBattle. Keep in mind that this is the same guy that was able to take on both [[PersonOfMassDestruction Neku]] and [[CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass Beat]] with little to no trouble at all. And the one behind his defeat? None other than Joshua himself, who looks no worse for the wear after he reveals this little tidbit. Makes you wonder what his [[PhysicalGod true capabilities are.]]
* The attack Neku uses at the end of the final battle, where he fuses with all three of his partners and activates a giant skull attack, which finishes the final boss in one blow (and he looks extremely cool while doing it).
** In Solo Remix you instead do a Fusion with all three characters, each using the strongest Fusion you have unlocked. Depending on how you spent your Scarletite, this could mean you shoot up Draco Cantus with Franchise/GodZilla Mr. Mew EyeBeams, crash a tidal wave on him, dropping the freaking ''moon'' on him, and then finally finishing the boss off with the skull attack.
* Joshua yelling "That's it, you are DONE!" and impaling a giant shadow rhinoceros with a beam of sacred light fueled by the souls of the dead.
** What’s even better about this is that afterwards, he finally decides to [[LetsGetDangerous let loose]] and unleash his [[HolyHandGrenade Jesus Beams]] for his combat, allowing you to access these at anytime. And [[GameBreaker hoo boy, is it worth it.]]
* Beat TakingTheBullet for Neku to defend him from a brainwashed Shiki’s attack. Even more notable since the last time he tried to do something like this, [[SenselessSacrifice he and Rhyme ended up both dying.]] Here? He finally gets there in time.
* Week 1 Day 7, Shiki fearlessly talking back to Higashizawa and stating that there's ''nothing he can do, she's getting back''. Also a [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments heartwarming moment]].
* Every player gets a personal one upon defeating [[ThatOneBoss Bonus Boss Panthera Cantus]] on Ultimate Difficulty. Don't pretend you don't feel all-powerful once you've finally managed to kick those kitten's asses.
* Playing around on NewGamePlus after you beat the game for the first time. Needless to say, it is immensely satisfying to go back and curbstomp every enemy and boss in the game that gave you so much trouble before.
* [[OptionalBoss Progfox's]] "fusion" where he transforms into a nine-tailed [[Franchise/FinalFantasy Bahamut]] and fires [[BreathWeapon Mega]] [[EnergyWeapon Flare]].
** The fact that Progfox does a Fusion by itself is awesome. There's no other instance of this anywhere else in the game.
* All of the Level 3 Fusions are pretty awesome. Neku and Shiki ride a [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments giant Mr. Mew]] that shoots two giant EyeBeams, Neku and Beat ride a tidal wave that crashes down onto the bad guys, and Neku and Joshua ''drop the freakin' moon'' onto the enemy.
* [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic The soundtrack.]] Tracks like "Twister" and "Three Minutes Clapping" do an amazing job to back up the style of this game.
** [[https://youtu.be/q0z-JeUY2zo "Lullaby for You"]] manages to be this, a [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments heartwarming moment]] and a TearJerker at the same time.
** Just before the fight with Anguis Cantus, all looks lost, but then... "Here comes the Beat Wagon!" Cue "Twister" playing in the background as Beat and Shiki pull their BigDamnHeroes moment! Also doubles as as [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoment heartwarming moment]] since Shiki and Beat reaffirm their friendship with Neku and assure him that [[YouAreNotAlone he’s not alone.]]
* Before the aforementioned BigDamnHeroes moment, Neku's entire NoMoreHoldingBackSpeech to Megumi when the latter [[WeCanRuleTogether asks him to help brainwash Shibuya for the supposed greater good.]] It perfectly encapsulates the entire message of the game and shows how much Neku has grown since the beginning.
-->''"I'll never help you! Maybe living in your Shibuya WOULD be easier. Maybe. Except one problem- it wouldn't be Shibuya! I was never good with people. I covered my ears and blocked them out. But you know what? If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away. Shibuya's full of people waiting for those moments, when we clash together and find something new. Here in the UG, I clashed. I changed. And now I know--Shibuya should stay just as it is!"''
* Konishi keeps on saying that everything goes according to her predictions. And then, [[DumbMuscle Beat]], of all people calls her out on this with the fact that there have been so many hiccups in her so-called "master plan" already.
--> '''Beat''': Then what's wid all these "unforeseen circumstances"? Sounds to me like you can't predict jack, yo.
* The part where you use Beat on the top screen and the Rhyme pin on the bottom to finish off Konishi for some sweet [[HoistByHisOwnPetard revenge]]. These are your ''only'' sources of damage at this point in the fight, ensuring that the enemy receives a well-deserved KarmicDeath.
* Eiji Oji gets a small moment of this when he decides that [[ScrewTheMoneyIHaveRules he’s finally had enough of being Mick’s shill for Shadow Ramen and promotes Ramen Don instead.]]
** Likewise, Mick’s old boss gets one when he decides to finally stop relying on Reaper Creeper and instead just focus on giving his former employee some genuinely earnest advice on what to do in his life. Afterwards, he ultimately gives up Reaper Creeper for good.
* Joshua gets a cross-series one. The TWEWY Gang shows up in ''VideoGame/KingdomHearts3DDreamDropDistance'' and eventually Joshua reveals that the Heartless attacked Shibuya. Unlike other SE characters in KH, Joshua heavily implies that he ''is'' the real Joshua who managed to save his friends by flinging them all into another world, another universe.
* The ''Final Remix'' gives Hanekoma a major one during "A New Day", as detailed by the Secret Addendum unlocked therein. The entire day takes place in a pseudo-parallel world existing within a Noise created by Coco Atarashi. Everything in the alt-Shibuya acts how Coco wants it to act except for Beat and Neku, who are the real Beat and Neku. Hanekoma wants to help them, but because the alt-Shibuya's design makes it highly unstable, trying to re-tune his vibe to enter it like he does to go to Another Day would risk taking out Beat and Neku. Instead, he imprints on the Hanekoma of the alt-Shibuya to make it act like the ''real Hanekoma'', to an extent, and uses it to guide the boys to the alt-Shibuya's [=WildKat=] to give them the info. [[SpannerInTheWorks Whatever the hell Coco is trying to do goes right to hell as soon as they make Cat Street]].
** Likewise, Neku and Beat get one for [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu taking down]] [[LotusEaterMachine Dissonance Tapir]], a Noise capable of housing entire ''parallel worlds.''
* In episode 11 of the anime, Rhyme literally rips Konishi's shadow off of her body and impales her with it finally killing her.
