3	* Catherine of Aragon at the Legatine Court. It's a triumph not only for Catherine, but for Maria Doyle Kennedy who played her. And in that moment, when she walks out of Blackfriars with her head held high and the people begin to cheer, everyone knows that no matter what comes, she will always be England's true queen.
4	** Extra points for being a CMOA in history too; the speech was cut down and translated into modern English, but was essentially the same thing said by the real Catherine at the Blackfriars trial.
5	* Thomas More's whole execution. Talk about FaceDeathWithDignity.
6	* Anne Boleyn's execution in Season 2, when she faces her death with such dignity and poise despite earlier breakdowns.
7	* Christina of Denmark, while she's having her portrait painted by Holbein as a possible bride for Henry, makes it very clear to Sir John Hutton that she has ''no'' wish to marry the English king; pointing out how quickly he's gone through ''three'' wives, and that people suspect that Catherine of Aragon (who was Christina's great-aunt!) was poisoned, Anne Boleyn was unjustly executed, and Jane Seymour died due to lack of proper care from her doctors. "Frankly, sir, if I had two heads, then one would be at His Majesty's service. Alas, I only have this one."
8	* Surrey, Suffolk, and a handful of English soldiers cutting down a party of French skirmishers during the Siege of Boulogne.
9	* Anne Stanhope blackmailing Bishop Gardiner, Katherine Parr convincing Henry not to kill her over her religion, and Edward Seymour decking Bishop Gardiner in the series finale. And, so we're clear, Edward Seymour is ''the'' biggest dick that we all hate and we're ''on his side''.
10	* Katherine Parr, also in the last episode when she manages to convince Henry that her religious debates with him were meant only to distract him from his painful leg ulcer, thereby saving her own skin -- which no previous wife managed outside of Anne (see ExtremeDoormat). Again, extra points for being TruthInTelevision.
11	* Henry finally deciding to use the various factions within his court for his own amusement. When confronted with the fact that one faction seeks to arrest the Queen of heresy, rather than simply have the warrant countermanded, he lets it be served and then turns all his rage on the man trying to serve it. The server practically runs away in the face of Henry's anger. Also it should be noted that, when he rails against the server, he starts by throwing away his cane and walking up to him un-aided.
12	* After tiring of Bishop Gardiner's constant investigation and burning of Protestants, Henry gives a passionate speech about how he is fed up with it to one of his aides. When Gardiner requests an audience, the aide sums up the speech simply as 'The king requires you to leave court'. Gardnier's face goes white and borderline flees the palace.
13	* Also in the finale, Henry is haunted by the ghosts of his first three Queens, none of whom are particularly comforting to him. Extra points for Jane accusing him of pushing their son to an early death, since of all three, Jane would be expected to be on Henry's side.
14	--> '''Jane''': My poor child. You expected too much of him. He is only a boy. Kings too are made of clay. And God forbid you locked him away from the world like your father did with you... don't you understand? You have killed him.
