* Just as it looks like Littlefoot and Cera are about to be devoured by the Sharptooth's toothy maw, cue Mama Longneck's massive tail, which smashes the predator off its feet and into a mound of rock -- she then proceeds to take on the Sharptooth singlehandedly. This is about as epic as animation can get: we have an [[BehemothBattle Apatosaurus battling a Tyrannosaurus]] in the middle of an [[InterestingSituationDuel earthquake]].
* Petrie's BigDamnHeroes moment near the end.
--> '''Petrie''': I flying! ''I flying''! '''''I flying!'''''
** And not only that. The fact that a group of little dinosaurs manage to outsmart and KILL Sharptooth, the most deadly predator in all of the films, is pretty awesome.
*** AND not only '''THAT''', the plan in question that Littlefoot conjures up to get rid of Sharptooth after getting sick and tired of running away from him is so gloriously thought out and said to the gang, that it makes him look badass and is just plain awesome. No doubt, Doc (aka The Lone Dinosaur) and Littlefoot's father would have been proudly impressed.
*** And also, Cera coming back to help Littlefoot, Spike, and Ducky push the boulder the Sharptooth is on into the water, screaming, "I'M COMING!"
** This is made even more awesome in the novel: Sharptooth figured out how to get into the Great Valley and, psychopath that he is, intended to slaughter the dinosaurs living there. The kids killing him saved everyone.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfkXHBHGJik Discovery of the Great Valley]] (especially at 1:20)
* Sharptooth in general is arguably one of the most badass tyrannosaurs in all of cinema. This is a creature that, when he gets angry, ''smashes boulders with his head.''

* Chomper fearlessly biting the Plated Sharptooth's tail to save the gang in the fifth film. His parents soon join the fight. When the enemy sharp tooth slashes Chomper's mom, his father then whacks the enemy sharp tooth, causing him to fall into the ocean.
** [[IdiotHero Littlefoot]] ends up ''jumping off of a cliff into a shark infested ocean'' to save Chomper from drowning.
** The entire sequence with the swimming sharptooth, for being both incredibly epic and terrifying.
* The Lone Dinosaur from #6: a celebration of badass longnecks. His John Wayne-esque voice doesn't hurt things either.
** Also from 6, The 2v2 battle at the very end with Doc and Grampa Longneck teaming up to take down the two Sharpteeth.
* In movie 2, Ducky jumping and punching at the Sharptooth after it goes after Spike. An in vain effort naturally, but still, she attacked one of the most feared predators of their kind so her brother could escape, BadassAdorable and BigSisterInstinct at it's finest.
* In ‘‘The Big Freeze’’, Spike has fallen into freezing water and is on the verge of drowning. When he calls out to his mama, her immediate response is to dive into the water breaking through a thick layer of ice and pull her son out. Maternal instincts at its finest.
* In number 9, Mo taking on the Sharptooth Swimmer all by himself, including taunting it, slapping its face with his fins, and just generally owning it.
* Towards the end of number 9, Mo shows Littlefoot his home in Big Water in a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ridv-Z_7zmc scene]] that's built on TheWorldIsJustAwesome:
** Standing on the rocky shoreline, Littlefoot holds his breath and dips his head underwater, then opens his eyes to see a brightly-colored coral reef and various sea creatures swimming around. It's enough to make him smile in awe.
** When he lifts his head to breathe, he slips on the wet rocks and falls into the water, much to his friends' concern. However, he doesn't panic at all, and instead swims around to explore for a while. He's so immersed that he almost runs out of air, so Mo pushes him back up to the surface.
* From number 7, Petrie CallingTheOldManOut against Pterano's visions of a new world, when what they have in the great valley is perfectly wonderful.
* In number 3, Cera standing up to her father for his stubborn parenting, to the point where he's practically at a loss for words.
-->'''Cera's Father:''' Cera, I'm your father. I want what's best for you.\
'''Cera:''' [[CallingTheOldManOut No, you don't! You just don't want me to have any fun!]] ''(runs off in anger)''\
'''Cera's Father:''' Cera, please! I'm just trying to... As a parent, I... Ooh!
* In number 12, Guido discovering he can glide and uses this ability to save Tricia from being swept away in a river. And then Petrie and his siblings all pitch in to save the two when Guido gets caught in the water himself.
* In "The Great Longneck Migration":
** Littlefoot ''not'' easily forgiving his long-lost father for being... [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment well, long-lost]] and after sulking about the "reunion", [[CallingTheOldManOut demanding an explanation from him.]]
** Littlefoot convincing a jealous and neglected Shorty not to run away, stating that Bron may be his biological father, but he deeply cares for Shorty too, and asks if they could be brothers. Shorty agrees. Also a heartwarming moment.
** The Sharptooth fight at the climax. As Littlefoot as the adults try to fight the sharpteeth off, the kids help in the sidelines (Shorty uses his tail slingshot to launch rocks at the fiends). But the most awesome part is Littlefoot actually ''physically'' joining in to help his father (Yes, Littlefoot has physically fought sharpteeth before, but in this case, he was not willing to let his father suffer the same fate as his mother).
** Although not limited to this movie, we see Grandma and Grandpa Longneck are very capable fighters, particularly for dinosaurs at their age.
** While opinions on Bron’s character may be divided, there’s no denying that he himself is a very capable fighter, putting him at the same awesomness levels of his deceased wife and Littlefoot's grandparents. We see him using running slides, kicking hard enough to knock them out, and spending a fair portion of his fight not even looking at the Sharptooth, instead choosing to watch the other battles and direct Littlefoot while deliberately exposing his neck and employing DeadlyDodging to keep his own Sharptooth occupied...again, without looking at it.
* When the kids try to stop Pterano's terrible trio from getting the titular stone of cold fire, the resulting fight sends Duckie tumbling towards a cliff. All of the kids are either too busy or too far away to help her and her dangling gives Pterano a flashback to the death of one of the followers he lost. But what does Pterano do? He snaps himself out of his freeze-up and performs a DivingSave, preventing any harm from coming to Duckie. Later, not only does he accept his banishment to the Mysterious Beyond, but he quickly reassures a distraught Petrie that he'll be just fine.
** Earlier in the same movie, when Cera's dad haughtily rejects the Stone of Cold Fire's existence and responds to the female Rainbow Nose's question of "Have you seen all there is to see?" with a "yes", the male Rainbow Nose zings him with this ArmorPiercingQuestion: "Then why do you call the Mysterious Beyond 'Mysterious'? Why not the Boring Beyond? Or the Nothing-of-Any-Interest-To-Us Beyond?" Cera's dad has absolutely no comeback.
* Tria protecting Cera from a sharptooth in 11.
-->'''Tria:''' [[MamaBear Get away from her, ya big bully!]]
** Gets even more awesome when Topsy joins the battle to protect a tired Tria and single handily saves the Tinysauruses and by extension Lizzy, earning praise from Big Daddy himself, all while apologizing to the latter for all the trouble he caused throughout the film.
* Littlefoot and the group saving the yellow-bellies from a group of Sharpteeth by dropping rocks on them in movie 13.
* In "Journey of the Brave" the sequence where everyone saves Bron is hands down one of the best CMOA moments for everyone in the entire franchise. Littlefoot finds Bron trapped on a rock on a pool of lava, Bron encourages him to turn back, but Littlefoot refuses to give up saving that Bron never gave up on his herd and he[Littlefoot] won't give up on him[Bron] either. So Littlefoot asks Cera to knock down a huge rock so that water will cool the lava surrounding Bron, then asks Etta and the others to get a tree to free Bron's foot from the rock(and also asks Petrie to watch out for incoming lava) and they all succeed in freeing him and when the lava surrounds them again, Bron jumps over the lava with Littlefoot.

* In "March of the Sand Creepers", when Scuttle shows no apparent intention in getting the sand creepers back home, Cera snaps and [[JerkassHasAPoint points out to him that without the other sand creepers he wouldn't have anyone to tell his stories to]]. This finally convinces Scuttle, who cannot stand not having someone listening to his stories.
* Grandpa Longneck and Topps fighting Redclaw and his raptor minions in "The Hidden Canyon".
* Topps and the spiketail leader clashing in "The Forbidden Friendship." It's short lived, but still pretty awesome to watch.
* In "The Days of Rising Waters" when Chomper sniffs out Petrie's mom after she got swept away and buried in a mudslide, jumping ''right into the running mud'' itself in the process, then singlehandedly digs her out of the mud ''with his teeth.'' Also heartwarming because this act of bravery caused Petrie's siblings to not be afraid of Chomper anymore.
