!!'''J.D.'''

* In season one, he's visibly jealous of another intern that is a better doctor. When said doctor has a breakdown upon learning one of his child patients is going to die, J.D. tries to comfort him. It shows that J.D. is better morally than he thinks he is.
* Following the trend of awesome Scrubs rants, JD has his very own in a Season Two episode, in response to several of his friends expressing disgust for his hooking up with a patient's widow:
--> "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! And shut up! Okay? Who are you people to give me advice about anything? All you do is just ''bitch'' about your relationships all day long! (to Doctor Cox) And you know what? Glare all you want, Big Dog, okay, 'cause I'm not afraid of you. 'Oh, no! Jordan's only paying attention to the baby!' That must be so hard for [[ItsAllAboutMe Dr. Look At Me! Isn't it? Look at meeeeeee]]! (to Turk and Carla) And you two? What, you're arguing since you got engaged? Wow, [[SarcasmMode you're probably the first couple that's ever done that, ever!]] It can't be that you're just scared, is it? (to Elliot) And you! You! You know what, let's just--let's just forget for one second that a month ago you told me you couldn't be in a relationship with anyone. Because, for me, it's actually fun to watch you sabotage your relationship from the outside. It really is. Honestly? The only thing that gives me comfort, you guys, is while I'm sitting at home, staring at the ceiling, just wishing that I had someone to talk to, is knowing that none of you idiots realize how lucky you are! Ugh!"
** Doubles as SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}} when Laverne, the biggest gossip in the hospital comes into the room just after J.D. finishes his rant and asks if she missed something good.
* When he tricks Dr. Cox and throws Cox's 'never treat people based on your own perceptions' lesson back in his face, when he outwits the Janitor for a change and traps him in a walk-in freezer, and when he finally gets to teach his teacher in the episode 'My Extra Mile'.
* In "My Lips Are Sealed", Turk accidentally knocks over a biker gang's bikes. As they advance on him menacingly, J.D. comes to Turk's rescue on his scooter, knocking the bikers over like a bowling ball.
-->'''J.D.''': Strike!
** And then, just because he's that nice a guy, he buys the bikers free coffee.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0LplO7vhBE Super Eagle.]]
* After Dr. Cox has yelled at JD in typical Dr. Cox fashion (walking around him in a circle, etc) for something JD supposedly screwed up, JD takes the patient's chart from him and gives the rant right back to him, pointing out that he did NOT screw up and had Cox read the chart properly, he would have known this. Dr. Cox gets right in his face, trying to intimidate him.
--> '''JD''' (to himself): Focus. All. Energy. On. Lip. Not Quivering.
** And he DOES, leaving the disgusted Dr. Cox to stomp off in frustration.
* When Dr. Cox puts him in charge as an experiment during "My Butterfly", he gives Cox a string of orders while doing an absolutely ''pitch-perfect'' imitation of all Dr. Cox's condescending rants at JD, complete with Cox's unique speech inflections, verbal tics, hyperbolic suggestions, derogatory remarks about his masculinity, and addressing him with a girl's name. Doubles as a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}}.
** In the alternate timeline, J.D. overhears an important conversation in the elevator about aortic rupture. He gets a EurekaMoment and tells Doctor Cox the patient must be suffering from that. Even though the patient dies regardless, Dr. Cox tells JD [[SoProudOfYou that he is proud of him]] for figuring it out.
* "My Cookie Pants" has another rare example of him holding his own against Dr. Cox, this time with Perry ranting about how much he doesn't care about J.D. and Elliot's relationship.
-->'''Dr. Cox''': What can I say? I just wish you were at home with her.\
'''J.D.''': (''smiles'') [[InsultBackfire You and me both.]]\
'''Dr. Cox''': That was an insult.\
'''J.D.''': I know. [[GenreSavvy I thought if I took it as a compliment it would drive you insane and you'd go away.]]\
'''Dr. Cox''': (''grits his teeth and walks away'') [[OutGambitted Damn it!]]
** Followed immediately by him giving Denise a ReasonYouSuckSpeech, calling her out for her cold attitude toward patients. In fact, it turns out Denise wanted him as a mentor ''because'' she knows it's a flaw of hers; when he tries to apologize when learning her ordering a seemingly unnecessary colonoscopy saved a patient's life, Denise tells him she ''wants'' him to be hard on her.
* A low-key example appears in "My Case Study" when, after J.D has his case study approved by Dr. Kelso to be presented at a medical conference in Reno, Dr. Cox hits him with a vicious and biting TheReasonYouSuckSpeech about him groveling to Kelso like a puppy. J.D is visibly hurt by this, but for once stands up to Cox and retorts with a ShutUpHannibal speech about how it's not always a bad thing to play the game every so often and how he wants to be like Cox, "but a more successful you". Cox is left visibly shaken both by J.D standing up to him for once and by J.D's (albeit inadvertent) implication that Cox's own stubbornness and pig-headed determination to always be TheLastDJ has damaged his career.
* In "My Catalyst", J.D. manages to put Cox on the spot when he uses his lack of knowledge on metabolic diseases against him. The end result left Cox embarrassed and defeated, preceded by a look of genuine terror when he realized he was put on the spot.
* In "My Dream Job" J.D. is able to have a good conversation with Dr. Cox without being insulted and is able to help with Dr. Cox's worries that he'll be a bad father. This, in turn, led to an awesome take that, punch to Dr. Kelso as he was viciously insulting Elliot.
* How could anyone forget [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuzBLu_IZCw&ab_channel=dbfinch JD's speech to Cox]] in "My Fallen Idol". Also doubles as a heartwarming moment.
-->'''J.D.''': I guess after all this time, I still think of you as like this superhero, that'll help me out of any situation I'm in. I needed that. But that's ''my'' problem, y'know? And I'll deal with that. I guess I came over here to tell you... how proud of you I am. Not because you did the best you could for those patients, but because after twenty years of being a doctor, when things go badly, you still take it this hard. And I gotta tell you, man, I mean... That's the kind of doctor I wanna be. ''[starts pouring himself a glass of scotch]''\
'''J.D.'s voiceover''': Maybe he just needed time to heal, or maybe he just needed to see how much everybody cared. But I'd like to believe it was because of ''me'' that he was finally able to say this:\
'''Cox''': You don't drink scotch.\
'''J.D.''': ''[spits it out into the glass]'' [[MoodWhiplash That's awful]].
* In My Finale when JD finally gets to hear Dr Cox admit his frank respect for JD as a fantastic doctor and his friend.

!!'''Elliot'''
* Elliot once achieved the impossible and rendered snide, sarcastic Jordan, always prepared with a sharp, cruel put-down for everyone, ''completely speechless'':
-->'''Jordan''': Look, I don't know where your mother was when she should have been telling you all these things, but you cannot have sex with someone you care about! Sex is for making babies and revenge.
-->'''Elliot''': ''[Under her breath]'' Well, you're so full of it.
-->'''Jordan''': ''[Threatening]'' Listen, Stick, if you wanna wipe your nose and pretend that was a sneeze, I will play along. But if you have something to say, say it.
-->'''Elliot''': ''[Sudden burst of courage]'' Everybody knows you're still sleeping with Dr. Cox! And it can't be about making babies 'cause you'd probably just end up ''eating'' them, anyway. And as for revenge, I'm just not sure that driving to his apartment and pleasuring him while he watches sports on TV is hurting him as much as you might think. So I have to figure that you still care about him, whether you want to admit it or not. ''[Courage abruptly fails]'' And if you lay one finger on me, I'm blowing my rape whistle.
* There are two moments when Elliot delivered you suck speeches to Cox and they ROCKED! Specifically [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaHml7W4F5M here]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-2Iy_Xekq0 here]] (Around 2:15)
* Elliot gets one in the first episode of the third season after getting a makeover and reinventing herself:
-->'''Dr. Moyer:''' MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!
-->[''Elliot marches in dressed to the nines'']
-->'''Elliot:''' Dr. Moyer, you're going to give Mrs. Farley the abdominal CAT scan, and I'll tell you why. You remember that colon patient of mine you screwed up on? Well, I'm going to tell him exactly whose fault that was. And then I'm going to spend every waking second helping him figure out how to physically and financially bitch slap you, even if the end result is that we both get our asses fired. Your move, Chuckles.
-->'''Dr. Moyer:''' [''growling''] Bring her down.
* After preying on her insecurities, and getting her to dump Sean, J.D. decides he doesn't want her. When he tells her, we get this.
-->'''J.D.''': Don't cry.
-->'''Elliot''': Oh, don't worry, I won't.
** She then grabs him by his collar, and tosses his ass over the dinner table. Then nonchalantly sits back down, asks for more wine, and compliments the chicken. It says something that ''Laverne'', who takes shit from no one, not even Kelso, is scared of her after this.

!!'''Turk'''
* In ''My Turf War'', Turk and Dr. Cox continue to pass a patient off on each other. Turk ends up becoming a MagnificentBastard in the end, tricking Cox into thinking he performed a surgery, enlisted Kelso in his plan by "fake firing" him, and has Carla guilt Cox into a confession.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvVZegDnbJU He's so damn talented]].
* Performing successful prenatal surgery on Cox's daughter, managing to earn Cox's respect and alleviate his fears of her health issues in one swoop. Notable in that for the rest of the series, Cox refers to Turk as the best surgeon Sacred Heart has (though as a slight to surgeons, mainly)
* Turk gently telling J.D. that he needs to grow up and contrasting the difference between the two of them as adults.
-->'''Turk''': Buddy, the one thing I love about hanging out with you is that we get to do stuff like this (Goofing off), but when you leave, I go back to being a husband and a father. Which means paying bills, giving my daughter a bath and budgeting with Carla so that one day we can buy a house. But you, have you even baby proofed your apartment or learned how to change a diaper?
-->'''J.D.''': Aren't there instructions on the box?
-->'''Turk''': Have you seen your baby since Kim took him home?
-->'''J.D.''': No.
-->'''Turk''': Alright so you tell me, do you think you need to grow up?

!!'''Carla'''

* In the pilot, Carla has her own very special moment of awesome with her beautiful rant at Elliot:
--> "You talk like that, do you even know my name? I spend every second of my life either here, or taking care of my mom. So, yeah, maybe I needed a little closeness. I'm sure you never had a quickie at the club, right? Or snuck some skinny, flat-butted college boy up to your sorority room. And my thong? I happen to think it makes my ass look good. And some days, I need to feel good about something around here. And you judge me? Well, guess what, word does get around, Miss "Out For Herself", so you can dump on everyone here if you want; but you will not hurt me."
* This moment from "My Nickname", when Carla feels JD is being condescending: [[note]] Whenever it was deserved or not belongs in [[{{YMMV/Scrubs}} YMMV]], not here. [[/note]]
-->'''JD''': Carla, you're a good nurse.
-->'''Carla''': I'm a ''great'' nurse, you patronizing ass.
* In the episode "My Heavy Meddle," Carla, after Dr. Kelso quashes her attempts to play Poison's "Talk Dirty to Me" to a coma patient to honor his dying wishes, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxxvVb2A4dM sings the song]] to the patient herself. As with many moments on the show, it doubles as a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming.
* When trying to cajole a {{Jerkass}} doctor into helping with a patient, Carla looks at a picture of his son.
-->'''Carla''': Your boy is adorable. How old is he?
-->'''Doctor''': Ten.
-->'''Carla''': And how many years ago was it when you told me you were single and took me dancing?
-->'''Doctor''': Eight years, I'll see you in the patient's room.
* Carla calling out Katie on her selfish bullshit and ripping her a new one for her trying to use her past as a sympathy story. And then telling her that if she's willing to, the hospital will take care of her, but if she doesn't, she'll be ripped to pieces.
* Carla getting a patient to drop the charges against Turk.

!!'''Dr. Cox'''

* When J.D. and Turk show up at work at the end of Season 2 after having a few beers, Dr. Cox rips them a new one.
-->'''Dr. Cox''': Hey Betty, hey Wilma. Oh what the hell, you're only forty minutes late. Do I smell beer?
-->'''J.D.''': We-We had a few.
-->'''Dr. Cox''': News flash, you can't drink and come to work, you're not airline pilots!
-->'''J.D.''': Look, Dr. Cox-
-->'''Dr. Cox''': No you look! If someone had asked me just this morning "Is there anyway I could have any less respect for you two geniuses?" I would say "No, that's not possible." but lo and behold, you went and pulled it off, congratulations. Unfortunately I'm fresh out of blue ribbons so you're going to have settle for a lifetime supply of my foot up your ass! Go home, you're not fit to work tonight.
* There is when Dr. Kelso is viciously reprimanding Elliot at the end of season 2, Dr. Cox just walks up to him and punches him in the face. The whole hospital watches in awe. It should be mentioned that J.D. is the one who talked him up to it with the line "Now if she was your daughter, you'd know exactly what to do." Then came the hittings.
** [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments And then you see Ted crying]] ManlyTears [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments of joy...]]
* Many of his speeches qualify, but a personal favourite would be his [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iEy8kowZIM evaluation of JD:]]
-->'''Dr. Cox:''' What do you want me to say? That you're great? That you're raising the bar for interns everywhere?
-->'''JD:''' ...I'm cool with that.
-->'''Dr. Cox:''' I'm not gonna say that. You're okay. You might be better than that someday, but right now all I see is a guy who's so worried about what everybody else thinks of him that he has no real belief in himself. I mean, did you even wonder why I told you to do your own evaluation?
-->'''JD:''' I, I can't think of a safe answer, I just figured-
-->'''Dr. Cox:''' CLAM UP! I wanted you to think about yourself, and I mean really think. What are you good at, what do you suck at, and then I wanted you to put it down on paper. And not so I could see it, and not so anybody else could see it but so that YOU could see it! Because ultimately you don't have to answer to me, and you don't have to answer to Kelso, and you don't even have to answer to your ''patients'', for god's sake! You only have to answer to one guy, newbie, and that's YOU! There, you are evaluated. Now get the hell out of my sight. You honest to god get me so angry I'm afraid I just might hurt myself.
** Later, he does admit he's proud of J.D., and saying he's a good doctor to a group of interested individuals. He just won't ever say it to the guy's face.
* And this, after he gets fed up with his residents' slacking:
-->'''Dr. Cox:''' First off, let me just say, thank you. For the last couple of months I have been adrift in a sea of puppy dogs, lollypops and let's face it, mediocre metaphors. Luckily, you people were kind enough to piss all over learning a procedure that could determine whether some poor sucker lives or dies and that reminded me of something that I wanted to remind you of. Because you see, I am accountable. I am accountable for the continuous crashing undeniable amateurism that you people drag into this hospital day in and day out, and believe you me when I tell you the next one of you perpetual disappointments doesn't even have the common decency to try and do better at something you supposedly do, I will go ahead and toss your sorry ass out of here in about ten seconds and then I will forget you forever in the next five. Hahahaha-Okay, nervous guy, bring that nervous butt up here, lose the shirt - we're gonna show these good people how this thing works.
* Cox solving medical problems in ''Series/{{House}}'' homage, while supporting himself on a cane due to him having hurt his leg earlier in the episode.
* YMMV, but Cox gets yet another moment of awesome when he gives an epic talk down to a teenage girl who refuses to take her pills which by doing so was making her sick and putting her life in danger.
* "My Big Bird"
** It at first seems that Dr. Cox is going for KickTheDog when he gloats that either J.D., Elliott, Carla, or Turk is responsible for Mr. Foster's death. It turns out, however, that he was legitimately ''angry'' at the four under hearing and wanted them to face consequences. Their pettiness and SkewedPriorities led to a man dying with only interns to revive him.
** Dr. Cox keeps the hearing on task when Elliott tries to use "shoe shopping" to make all the doctors tune out, even Kelso. He says that Jordan immunized him to the tactic and gets everyone to pay attention again.
** When JD, Elliott, Carla, and Turk are celebrating that they aren't responsible for the death of Mr. Foster, Cox comes to them and reminds them to give a toast to Mr. Foster's widow and fatherless children. Elliott tries to retort that it wasn't their fault, but then Cox reminds them they were lucky and could have been any of their faults. This causes them to realize how much they neglected Mr. Foster, stop celebrating and continue working while being reminded about their mistakes. To make it even better during this Cox has a rather happy and jovial tone and mood which adds a mocking tone during his true and harsh criticizing of their actions and shows why he's considered one of the best doctors at Sacred Heart. It's also satisfying to the viewers when they thought they were all going to be scot-free of guilt despite their many stupid mistakes and SkewedPriorities.
** Some viewers were asking why Dr. Cox wasn't the one to save Mr. Foster, since he was there. For one, as season 8 points out, Dr. Cox can't spend all his time plugging others' holes; he was checking on other patients and trusted the trio (and Carla) to do their jobs. Yes if he bails them out, good for the patient, but it's not his responsibility but theirs.
* While he fails to juggle hats as Chief of Medicine, Dr. Cox damn well ''tries''. He threatens Ed to study or he will have a book tossed in his face and kept running around to check on patients. Jordan ends up calming him down by saying YouAreNotAlone, saying she'll help him with his schedule.
* Dr. Cox's relationship with Ed, in general. He realizes that Ed is not scared of him, which is a concern because all the interns should be scared of Dr. Cox, and is immature besides with his "Zwahhh" {{Catchphrase}}. Dr. Cox then surprises him with a plunger while Ed is chilling in the hospital coffee shop, saying he figured out the problem: Ed is lazy. He's coasting on his smarts and is doing better than most interns. Ed does kindly say that Dr. Cox is free to punish him if he falls behind. Dr. Cox then makes good on that promise, firing Ed a few episodes later when he refuses to put in the work.

!!'''Dr. Kelso'''

* His CruelToBeKind talk with Dr. Townsend, played by Dick Van Dyke. J.D. alerted him to the fact that Townsend made him do an outdated procedure that badly injured a patient. Townsend is feeling guilty about it and checking on the patient, who is sleeping in bed. Kelso has a frank talk, having investigated that all of Townsend's treatments and procedures are outdated. He says that he would go to seminars on the latest medicine and technology because you have to do it to keep up and medical school teachings become obsolete fast. Townsend tries to deflect by making a joke about introducing Kelso to Edith, but he withers under Kelso's DeathGlare. He's forced to admit he is too old to keep up, and Kelso quietly retires him. Yes, J.D. suffers for this, but it was the right thing to do.
* Where he [[DeadpanSnarker responds to one of Dr Cox's patented rants]]:
-->'''Dr. Kelso''': Yeah. Funny long list. We get it. You need a new thing, Big Guy.
* In the episode where Dr. Cox fiddles with Kelso's treadmill to send him flying across the room, Cox later tries to sit down and watch the big basketball game, which he'd recorded on Kelso's TV. Right at the beginning, the video cuts to Kelso, who spoils the score of the game for Cox, adding "''Don't ever mess with my treadmill"''.
* "What {{has two thumbs and}} doesn't give a crap? Bob Kelso. How ya doin'."
* "You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change, because I've got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out with this surgery because you're scared. And you're scared because if you try and fail, there's only you to blame. But missy, let me break this down for you Bobbo style. Life is scary. Get used to it. ...There are no magical fixes. It's all up to you. So get up off your keister, get out of here, and go start doing the work. ...I'll say this to both of you. Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy."
** When he enters to give that speech, he [[DynamicEntry knocks the door down]] even though it was unlocked. Because he felt like it.
* Kelso's final line in His Story IV. In spite of being lazy and generally unpleasant in this episode, Kelso also makes an effort to take care of a patient while everyone else is tied up in petty squabbles and actually proceed to ''out-Jerkass'' Dr. Kelso by acting with hostility and dismissiveness when that patient nearly dies. He finally puts an end to their squabbles with an act of revenge that is as awesome as it is petty.
--> '''Dr. Kelso''': Alright, listen up gang, I'm only going to say this once. From this point on, there will be no more employee discounts here. Everyone pays full-price ... except for me, of course.
--> '''Dr. Cox''': Do you mind telling us ''why''?
--> '''Dr. Kelso''': ...Why the hell not?
** Even more awesome is that he didn't do it to be petty- he did it to give the others something to pull together over because they were fighting, that thing is how much they hate him. Kind of a TearJerker when you realize that Kelso's seemingly pointless and mean actions are done to keep the staff together, but makes him so much more of a badass.
* Dr. Kelso's death hearing speech, before the results came in, was phenomenal. It was a perfect TheReasonYouSuckSpeech.
--> "[After J.D. begins to do the usual end-of-episode summary outloud] Well, allow me to do that for you. In the end, when Mr. Foster started coughing up blood, the on-call surgeon was stuck in traffic, the nursing staff was busy losing the lottery, his original doctor was thanking a garbageman, and the covering physician was incapacitated. And what was Mr. Foster doing? He was dying in the hands of the interns. [[ArmorPiercingQuestion How did I do, Dr. Dorian?]]"
** He may be a {{Jerkass}} but he does have a set of morals and being able to put all four main characters in their place is pretty good. It's only because Doug reveals the radiology was done wrong that they aren't busted.
* In season 4, Kelso gives a great DareToBeBadass speech to a woman who has been rude to him all day. Then, in an effort, to regain some of the respect he felt he lost (from her and from society in general), he gets a haircut, declares he's not paying because he's a doctor (something the barber used to do), and when the man says he's still paying, ''he just runs away.''
* In "My Big Move", the Janitor repeatedly pesters Dr. Kelso for a new janitor's uniform. Kelso acquiesces, but gives the Janitor a robin egg blue uniform that has a calming effect on people and thus makes the Janitor less scary to anyone he interacts with.
* Kelso didn't want to be retired because of the principle. When the whole hospital staff comes to support him, saving his job, he quits on the spot because he wanted it on his terms.

!!'''Janitor a.k.a. Glen Matthews'''

* The Janitor had his SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome in his first appearance!
-->'''Janitor''': Door is broke. Fifth time or so it won't open.
-->'''J.D.''': Maybe there's a penny stuck in there.
-->'''Janitor''': Why a penny?
-->'''J.D.''': No reason.
-->'''Janitor''': You stick a penny in there?
-->'''J.D.''': No, I was just making small talk.
-->'''Janitor''': If I find a penny in there... I'm taking you down.
** ... This set the tone of his character for the entire series. The way in which he informed J.D. that he had found a penny was pretty awesome, too.
*** Or, eight seasons later, when he finally gets JD to admit that he did in fact put the penny in the door, then admits that he knows, having seen him do it. He asked as a test of character; one which JD failed. That's right: EVERYTHING THE JANITOR HAS DONE TO JD HAS BEEN JD'S OWN FAULT.
*** This granted, it can be reasonably argued that eight years of bullying, mind-games and vicious and even potentially life-threatening pranks over a little white lie told as an attempt to avoid trouble for a fairly minor and unintended mistake becomes a [[DisproportionateRetribution little bit unreasonable]]. Episode 2 at least has J.D. try to be nice to him.
* The Janitor's "KNIFE WREEENCH!"
** For kids!
* The Janitor after having a particularly hard day warns everyone not to annoy him. Dr. Cox can't help but push his buttons and says that he's not afraid of the Janitor. The Janitor just smiles at Cox and shouts "boys!" At which point about a dozen janitors come out of no-where and drag Cox off. J.D later find Cox tied up and in one of the morgue freezers.
--> '''Carla''': Why is your mouth red?
--> '''Dr. Cox''': Duct-taped two hours in a morgue drawer; don't piss off the Janitor; end of story.
* In one episode, Carla is trying to organize a staff photo in front of the hospital, but barely anyone responds at all. The Janitor spent most of the episode bitter because he wasn't even asked to be a part of the picture, and when Carla finally realizes this and asks him if he'd like to be in it, he is ecstatic. Cut to the next scene, and suddenly ''everybody'' is standing outside of the hospital. When Carla asks him how he got everyone to participate, The Janitor responds with only one word, [[TheDreaded "Fear"]].
* Getting Kelso to admit over the loudspeaker that he does, in fact, fear The Janitor.
* When JD returned to work after his father died and without saying a word, [[EveryoneHasStandards The Janitor simply steps aside to let him pass.]]
* "I'll get a new uniform, or I'll wax ''everything'' in your '''world'''."
* The Janitor installs a toilet on the roof for thinking, and it gives everyone who sits on it an epiphany. Even germophobic Kevin Casey drums up the courage to use it and takes a Polaroid of the evidence to motivate Elliott to try it when she has a crisis of confidence.
* When Elliott accidentally insults a would-be interviewer for a fellowship, the Janitor gives him the soda he wanted, and casually threatens him to give Elliott a chance.

!!'''Jordan'''

* Jordan's parting gift at the end of season 1, after being asked to shake things up a bit
--> Carla, my ex-husband is in love with you. It's true. Ask your boyfriend, he knows; he and Perry talk about it all the time. I don't know why you haven't mentioned this to her! Perhaps you're afraid of something? Huh. And Bob? When are you gonna tell Perry that that promotion you're making him jump through hoops for was filled months ago! It just seems wrong. Which brings us to Twinkie. If you don't have the courage to tell your 'colleague' Dr. Dorian that you're still crazy about him, I'm gonna go ahead and do it for ya, 'cause that's what friends do. Yeah! And finally, Perry, you are not gonna believe what happened the first time I met your little protégé, here...
--> '''J.D.''': [thinking] Oh, please God, no.
--> '''Jordan''': I slept with him... and it was good - oh! How's that for stirring things up? Have a great summer, everyone. Bye!
* Her breaking up with JD's girlfriend for him because he was too scared to was awesome and hilarious.
* In ''My Cookie Pants'', after Kelso talks to Dr. Cox and makes the latter doubt his capabilities as a potential Chief of Medicine, Jordan angrily confronts him and demands that he rectify his mistake.
* Jordan talks to Carla about her postpartum depression and convinces her to get the help she obviously needs. doubles as a moment of heartwarming.

!!'''Dan Dorian'''

* Feckless, useless older brother Dan gets one, when he calls Dr. Cox out on his [[DrJerk cynical act]], in a Crowning Moment so Awesome it even wins Dr. Cox's respect:
-->"Hey, listen, Dr. Cox: No offense, I'm a big fan of the tough-guy act, but let me tell you what I really think. I think you love the fact that these kids idolize you. Johnny does! Johnny was always the one in the family we knew was going someplace -- sweet kid, smart kid. Becoming a doctor, this is all he ever wanted; and yet, somehow, you've found a way to beat that out of him, haven't you? Turned him into some cynical guy who seems to despise what he does. Dr. Cox, Johnny's never gonna look up to me. Ever. But he hangs on your every word. So, I'm askin' -- I'm telling you -- take that responsibility seriously; stop being such a hard-ass, otherwise you're gonna have to answer to me. It was good seeing you, Dr. Cox."
** After Dr Cox leaves, Dan lets out a breath, indicating that he'd been terrified during his speech. And he still managed to gain the former's respect without breaking the facade.
* After Dan becomes more successful, he buys JD a car. The gift isn't well-received and JD smashes the windshield and yells angrily "''you're'' supposed to be the screw-up!" For anyone who was bothered by how JD became a condescending and arrogant Jerkass in episodes featuring Dan just because he was more successful than his brother, Dan's {{Wham Line}} was glorious:
-->'''Dan''': You know what, JD? You need to grow up.

!!'''Ted'''

* Even useless, pathetic "hospital sad-sack" Ted Buckland gets his moment, when he for once manages to outwit Dr. Kelso, even if no one will ever know:
--> '''Dr. Kelso''': Ted, was this your doing?
--> '''Ted''': ''[Composed and mild]'' Please, sir. I don't have the guts. ''[In his head; deliriously happy]'' Oh, yeah! Suck it, bitch! ''I will murder you''!!!
** To explain the above, Ted helps the nursing staff get a much-needed raise by providing them with something they can blackmail Kelso with; a receipt that shows that Kelso has been underpaying Sacred Heart's needle supply for *years*. Ted even states that he doesn't mind that they'll never know it was him who gave him that evidence.
* That's not Ted's only awesome moment. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZbjPUJaafc Standing up to Kelso to back up Turk]] is another good example. And no, flinching from the resulting high-five does not diminish the moment whatsoever.
* Don't forget the time Dr. Kelso planned on expanding his office by taking over a patient room. Elliot confronted him to request a female locker room, which of course blew up in her face. Ted went behind Kelso's back to tell Elliot the state laws requiring same-sex changing rooms, causing Kelso to lose the battle with Elliot and his new office.
* Ted calling Kelso out on going to Coffeebucks every day since he's hanging out where he used to work, it's a small moment, but being able to stand up to his old boss who he was terrified of counts big time.
* At first, Ted is tongue-tied when talking to Gooch. Then he remembers he's confident when singing. He summons his acapella group the Blanks and invites Gooch to jam. It is ''awesome''.

!!'''The Todd'''

* Todd is many things, but he is loyal to his friends. When they get into scrapes, he's willing to help. At one point he rightly gets annoyed at J.D. for having an ImagineSpot when they need to help Turk make a hard decision.
* After he fools Elliot and Carla into thinking he's gay and ultimately revealing his bluff he sets to a smug walk down the corridor, making inappropriate remarks at ''both'' genders, and finally seals this as a Crowning Moment thanks to this exchange with The Janitor.
-->'''The Janitor''': ''What'' are you?
-->'''Todd''': I'm the Todd.
* For anybody who was wondering how this seemingly idiotic JerkJock doesn't kill all of his patients, he gets ranked No.#1 out of the surgeons. So despite how he seems, [[BunnyEarsLawyer he's actually really smart and good at his job]].
* He brought a guy back to life ''with a high five''!
** That one was a case of [[UnreliableNarrator Unreliable Flash-Back]], as Cox pointed out as soon as he finished the story.
* His readiness to punch out Carla's brother for bad-mouthing Turk, proving that he's also a very good friend.
* Todd gets another when Turk tries to interfere with a patient's operation just because he doesn't approve even though by doing this Turk is jeopardizing his job. Todd solves the situation by taking him to the patient and having him ask what SHE wants.

!!'''Doug'''

* When Doug finally found out he had a talent for pathology in My Malpractical Decision. He even found the confidence to get in a shot at a surgeon whose body he'd been inspecting in the morgue.
-->'''Doug''': Hey Nelson, got some of your handiwork down in the morgue today. You operating with a blindfold on or what?
* In ''My Big Bird'', right when the gang is about to to be punished for Mr. Foster's death due to their numerous avoidable circumstance, Doug comes in at the last minute with evidence showing that Mr. Foster's death was due to an inaccurate report from the Radiologist, saving them from possibly losing their licenses.

!!'''Laverne'''

* Laverne gets the moment we'll remember her for in her penultimate episode when Doctor Cox finally gets sick of her constant religiosity, leading him to repeatedly point out (genuinely correct) flaws in her logic throughout the episode. She finally snaps at him that if she didn't believe there was some purpose to all the suffering she sees, she couldn't emotionally deal with it, and wouldn't be able to come to work in the morning.
** It should be so highly praised that this isn't just a case of her ''scaring'' him into leaving her alone, she genuinely and utterly elicits a true '''apology'''.... from ''Doctor Cox''.
*** In truth, the...honesty...of her rebuttal deserves a mention. She doesn't quote scripture, she doesn't browbeat Cox with her belief, she just explains how she, a nurse of ''twenty-four years'' experience manages to get by the world, and it shuts him up:
---->'''Laverne:''' [[TranquilFury Listen, I've been coming in here for twenty-four YEARS, watching children DIE and good people SUFFER. And if I quit believing there was a bigger plan behind all this then I just wouldn't be able to show up tomorrow, so just STOP IT!]]
** Doubles as a TearJerker because Laverne didn't make it to work the next morning.
*** Not exactly: she ''got'' to Sacred Heart... just not as an employee...
* Laverne has another great one in ''My Hero'' when she manages to scare the shit out of Dr. Kelso right before he was going to rip into her after she laughed at one of Dr Cox's rants about how much Kelso sucks.
** And she has another one involving Kelso when she realises he ate her face cake. ''"Oh, this does not end well for you."''

!!'''Jack'''
* "Up yours, Bobbo!"
* Managing to trick Jordan into taking him out of pre-school.
-->'''Jordan''': He told me they had off for Yom Kipper.
-->'''Cox''': Yom ''Kippur'' was six months ago.
-->'''Jack''': [[PunctuatedForEmphasis I! Hate! School!]]
-->'''Cox''': I've never been more proud of you.

!!'''Hooch'''

* Hooch's reaction to a practical joke played on him which really shows how AxCrazy this surgeon is:
-->"Who the '''''hell''''' put bouillon cubes in the showerhead?! Hmm?! Did you do it? Did you? If it happens again... I will wait in my SUV, blast me some speed metal five point one surround sound, heavy on the bass....... And someone. Will be getting. Mowed. Down."
** [[RunningGag "Hooch is crazy!"]]

!!''' Derek'''

* Derek spends his entire introductory episode trying not to get involved in everyone's problems. He leaves the lunch table where JD, Carla, Turk, and Cox are fighting, heads to the elevator, says ''screw it'', comes back, and calls them all out on being babies.

!!'''Sunny Day'''

* Sunny Day spends an episode worrying about how the Janitor called her "weak" when he spares her from his revenge on her and two others, only to confront him and point out that it takes a lot of strength to smile all the time. Then Janitor reveals that making her worry about his opinion of her ''was'' his revenge, which means he thought she was ''stronger'' than the other two.

!!'''Howie'''
* This shy, quiet, bespectacled intern proved in one day that he had what it took be a doctor at Sacred Heart by admitting that he ''smacked'' a difficult patient to get him to take his medicine. Upon hearing this, Turk knowingly and approvingly nodded and told him, "You'll do fine here."

!!'''Molly Clocks'''
* Molly Clocks' optimism and faith in people annoy Cox and Kelso so much that they try to break her. Later Molly reveals that she knew what they were doing the whole time and turned it on them by proving she was right.

!!'''Maddox'''
* Maddox was being NecessarilyEvil. Yes, she was a MeanBoss but she was utterly correct in how she was running the hospital, from telling J.D. and Turk to change from their scrubs if they're staying with a patient after their shift ends to notifying the staff that it's not her job to be nice.
* As much of a bitch Maddox was, her firing the Janitor and getting him to leave was awesome.
* Don't forget her zeroing in on Jordan's one true weakness.
-->'''Maddox''': You're old.
-->''Cue Jordan's shocked face.''

!!'''The Whole Cast'''
* My Musical! They somehow turned a Musical episode into a Funny, catchy, heartwarming, Awesome episode for the whole cast and even had it make sense in context.
** Special mentions to Turk, Carla, Janitor and Dr Cox for singing (and dancing, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCFEC_pD99c in the first two's case]])''awesomely''.
* In My No Good Reason, the "seamless collaborative guy lie".

!!'''Other'''
* Josephine telling Dr. Cox, "We are your doctors. Deal with it." In a normal voice. Dr. Cox is impressed and asked why she doesn't use that voice more often. She explains it makes her throat hurt.
* Jordan creepily hits on the seventeen-year-old next-door neighbor Pedro as a RunningGag. In one case she puts a pencil between her breasts while wearing a negligee and asks him to get it. Pedro sees what she's doing, gives a big smile, and says, "It's right here, ma'am." He chastely removes it and gives it to her. To say Jordan is shook is an understatement, more so by the "ma'am" part than that he turned her down.
* Denise seems to be coldhearted with a LackOfEmpathy. Then she tells off J.D., her superior, for apologizing about her ordering a painful colonoscopy that seemed unnecessary. (Said colonoscopy saved the patient's life by revealing he had cancer but they caught it early.) Denise explains that she knows she has a terrible bedside manner, and she wants to improve it. Since J.D. has the biggest heart, she trusts him to help her get better at comforting patients. When J.D. tells her that she can find that compassion inward, and doesn't need to rely on him she takes it to heart and tries to comfort the man while saying cancer sucks.
----
