* In "Teed Off", Mr. Bighead is having a rigged golf game with his boss because his coworkers and golf gardeners keep [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill firing pianos]] to destroy his golf balls. Heffer, working as a gardener at the time, finds out and tries to make Bighead win (despite the fact he was ''supposed'' to lose). After a few shots of the balls getting in the holes, the coworkers get desperate and resort to [[MoreDakka rapid piano firing the poor toad to stitches]], but still losing. Then on the last hole, Bighead shoots his ball to the opposite direction and into a lake, which means Mr. Dupette wins by default ...only for Heffer to reclaim the golf ball in the lake, raise from the water on a ''flying lawnmower'' like a fighter plane (the razors usually pointed down now raised up like copters) and fly through the air to sink the ball into the hole. All the while dodging pianos homing in on him. After he does, his tractor gets shot down and crash lands into the base of the piano launchers. Probably one of Heffer's most defining ([[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments if not random]]) moment of awesome.
* The ending to "Rocko's Happy Sack", where Rocko [[RageBreakingPoint threatens]] to "do something [[BewareTheNiceOnes not nice]]" to Filburt if he doesn't change his mind about the 99% off sale finishing literally one second before Rocko's total is read off. Considering the HumiliationConga that Rocko had to go through just to make it in line in time, Rocko has a lot of steam to let off. It works, and Filburt lowers the price back down.
-->'''Rocko:''' You cheap little rotter! I've been run over by a car, made to drag around a gimp shopping cart, threatened by your Gestapo security guards, had me head set on fire, I was attacked by wild lobsters, beaten by a very LARGE woman, had me dog wrapped in plastic, nearly starved to death, and I still beat the twelve o'clock deadline! So if you don't change that total back to a dollar-fifty, ''I WILL DO SOMETHING'' '''''NOT NIIIIICE!!!!!'''''
-->'''Filburt:''' ''({{beat}}, nervously stammers)'' That'll be one dollar and fifty cents, please!
** Before that, there's the gorilla married to a manatee who is so disgusted at some random {{Jerkass}} professing FantasticRacism towards sea mammals that he drags the {{Jerkass}} off-screen and beats the crap out of him.
* In "Jet Scream", Rocko has a rough time experiencing airplane travel, especially because of a brat pig kid that keeps causing mischief to him (as well as the other passengers). When he gets fed up (after having his head filled with air when trying to listen to music via headphones), he nonchalantly grabs the kid while he's running around the aisle and stuffs him into the luggage compartment above his seat. Immediately after, everyone stares at him [[WhatTheHellHero like he's some sick fiend]], but then [[SubvertedTrope suddenly]] [[AndThereWasMuchRejoicing start cheering]]. You have to admit, he ''really'' deserved that cheer.
* In "Leap Frogs", despite Mrs. Bighead acting as a MrsRobinson AbhorrentAdmirer to Rocko for most of the episode, the minute Ed openly insults Bev and she begins to cry, Rocko calls Ed out on his cruelness and says Bev is a wonderful woman who could have any man she wants, culminating in him kissing Bev on the hand before leaving. It then leads to Bev and Ed making up and regaining the spark in their marriage, which is not destroyed by StatusQuoIsGod. Rocko actually saved the Bigheads' marriage.
* In "Pranksters", Filburt pulls off an April Fools prank that puts Heffer through a massive HumiliationConga.
* In "Commuted Sentence," Rocko is constantly late for work and his car even gets impounded. After Mr. Smitty finally fires him, a depressed Rocko gets offered a new job: towing illegally parked cars. Turns out everyone in O-Town parks illegally, but guess whose car he comes across first.
-->'''Rocko:''' ''(Politely)'' Hi, Mr. Smitty! I got a new job!
* In "Speaking Terms", Virginia [[WhatTheHellHero calls out Heffer and Rocko for their feud]] and convinces them to patch things up, which they immediately do.
-->'''Virginia''': You two should be ashamed of yourselves! One little argument, and you throw temper tantrums like a couple of spoiled children! Why, you're more important to each other than anyone in the world! Why don't you quit wasting time and run along and play?
* In "Feisty Geist", after realizing that a dab of Spirit Away ointment won't be enough to get rid of Mortimer Khan since he can jump from one host to another, Rocko orders an industrial size barrel of Spirit Away and has it hooked up to water guns. What follows is a badass Franchise/{{Ghostbusters}} sequence in which Rocko and Heffer (and later Filburt) try to shoot down Mortimer Khan. One particular moment of awesome is Heffer going Rambo on Mortimer Khan when he possesses the fridge.
-->'''Heffer:''' You have no right to mess with food! Take THIIIIIIIIS!
* At the end of "Power Trip", Rocko responds to his boss firing him for sticking up for Filburt by telling him off. The icing on the cake is Mr. Smitty's appalled reaction to Rocko having the gall to call him a "smouldering old toad".
* Rocko saving Heffer and the rest of the cattle at the climax of "The Good, the Bad, and the Wallaby". It inspires his uncle so much that he not only turns the Lazy I Ranch from a cattle farm to a cattle resort, but even sings an AwardBaitSong [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raXtA6-2pPA in his honor.]]
* Rocko getting back at his former boss Mr. Dupette at the end of "Canned" for mercilessly firing him at the beginning of the episode. [[RevengeIsADishBestServed Namely by secretly offering him Conglom-O's Gene-Enhancing Chewing Gum which causes a beehive to sprout on his head so he gets attacked by the bee swarm.]]
* "Eyes Capades" starts out as an UnwantedGlassesPlot episode, where Rocko's failing vision starts to impede on his jackhammer competition. His glasses break and he's depressed, but then he comes back in time (fitted with contact lenses) and wins the competition with applause.
* In "Cruisin'", Rocko and Heffer get roped into a senior's cruise with Hiram, Heffer's grandfather, and end up getting sucked into the BermudaTriangle, where Rocko and Heffer [[OvernightAgeUp turn into old men]] while [[FountainOfYouth the elderly cruise members become young again]]. Rocko falls overboard the boat amidst the chaos, and since Hiram had been de-aged into young adulthood, [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold he immediately dives into the water to save him, nevermind that he usually seems to despise Rocko]]. Just afterwards, Hiram is about to be eaten by a shark, but [[BigDamnHeroes he is saved by Winnifred Wolfe]], who has witnessed his rescue of Rocko, having earlier saw him as caring only about himself.
* Rocko's BigShutUp to the obnoxious bird deliberately trying to keep him awake.
* At the beginning of "Tickled Pinky", Rocko collapses from the pain of his appendicitis at the International Jackhammer Expo. Heffer is shocked when he sees this, and calls for a medic, at which point said medics arrive... and take Rocko's jackhammer to the hospital instead. After expressing (appropriate) annoyance with this, Heffer proceeds to cry out, "I'll save you, buddy!", and runs Rocko to the hospital as fast as he can, not stopping for anything as he does so, and [[{{Acrofatic}} winning a marathon without even trying to in the process]]. While Heffer can be tactless, dim, and a little selfish sometimes, this episode proves that [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold he truly values Rocko as his best friend]].
* '''''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuF9aZxoipE WELCOME BACK, ROCKO.]]'''''
* Static Cling having a positive portrayal of a transgender character, a landmark moment in children's animation.
** Not only that, they explicitly told this narrative with a character a lot of fans were familiar with; The Bigheads' cartoonist child Ralph Bighead, having finally found her true self as Rachel Bighead. After Mr. Bighead rejects her due to being overwhelmed by a combination of the stress of his situation and dealing with his own biases, she proceeds to power through the frustration and create an entire revival episode for her cultural magnum opus in less than a single night from the back of an ice cream truck. Despite her adding a character in the form of a caricature of her own childhood self, widely considered a ''sin'' in these kinds of revivals, the special is a resounding success.
** And when Rocko learns that the ''Fatheads'' special is happening, asks Mr. Bighead to come down to the premier. When Ed is too depressed to bother, Rocko decides that his neighbor is going, whether he likes it or not, and stuffs Ed into a sack.
-->'''Rocko:''' Sorry, Mr. Bighead, but you've got a party to attend.
