4	* The entire time of Caesar in the ape shelter. After being bullied by the biggest chimpanzee around, Caesar finds a solution by freeing [[AlwaysABiggerFish Buck the gorilla]], turning him into his ally, and using him to intimidate his aggressor (and all the other chimpanzees by proxy) into submission. Impressive, but that's merely the beginning: Caesar doesn't just look for a way to be on top, he looks for a way to give freedom to ''all the apes''. Special mention to him managing to sneak out in the middle of the night, go to his former home, steal vials of the ALZ 113, and give it to his fellow apes in the span of one night ''completely unnoticed'', then train them for the escape without being discovered.
5	** Perhaps even more awesome is that Rocket, the alpha that Caeser ultimately deposes, soon becomes one of Caeser's ''closest companions'' alongside Maurice.
6	* The entire scene with Dodge fighting Caesar in the atrium of the ape shelter. Not only does Caesar take a few jabs from a stun baton and not back down, but he eventually evades the attacks, repeatedly throwing Dodge off balance. He finally stands up for himself and doesn't feel like taking any more shit from any human from then on. Then after the ShoutOut to the original with Dodge delivering Charlton Heston's famous line, Caesar stands up tall and straight and roars out an epic BigNo. Followed by a slew of OhCrap moments, and possibly, for Dodge, a BringMyBrownPants moment.
7	** What really makes it is the setup. Audiences have been known to either laugh or groan in response to the [[MythologyGag "damn dirty apes"]] line... until [[MoodWhiplash Caesar yells, "NO!"]] and they go ''[[StunnedSilence dead quiet]]''. It's a real CMOA when even the ''audience'' is thinking, "OhCrap" There's even a reaction shot of ''Buck the Gorilla'' in shock. It's also compounded by the fact that the ''movie itself'' goes silent right after, only resuming when Caesar knocks Dodge out, which really brings home the gravitas of that simple word.
8	* Maurice and Buck stopping the police cars, the former doing so by hurling a manhole cover into the windshield, the latter by ripping up a parking meter and throwing it like a tomahawk into the hood.
9	* Caesar suddenly appearing on top of that horse. The look on his face as he triumphantly rides forward is priceless.
10	** Especially since, mere moments before, the humans thought they were going to massacre the apes. But Caesar saw through their plans, sent Maurice and Koba around to ambush the humans, and basically turned the table on their ambush in no time at all. While charging them on a horse he stole from one of the Mounties.
11	* Buck gets a DyingMomentOfAwesome by [[BigDamnHeroes ramming Caesar out of a chopper's line of fire]], '''JUMPING''' into said helicopter while being shot, and causing it to crash.
12	* Koba [[PayEvilUntoEvil casually killing]] [[AssholeVictim Jacobs]] by kicking the wrecked helicopter he's in off the Golden Gate Bridge. Also a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment\|s}}.
