To solidify this awesome moment, as the kids start their jeering chant of "Tighty-Whiteys", King Bob stares at the male members of the team open-mouthed for a moment before instantly silencing the crowd and ShamingTheMob:

8	* After beating up Gus in "Gus's Last Stand", Gelman is confronted by the main six defending him, and he threatens to beat them up. The rest of the playground tell him that if he attacks the gang, they have to attack them as well.
9	* In "Dodgeball City", Gus is revealed to be a dodgeball legend known as [[RedBaron El Diablo]], having retired from the game after accidentally hitting a kid. In the end, he [[CurbStompBattle demolishes Lawson's fifth grade dodgeball team single-handedly]] after Lawson [[KickTheDog deliberately chooses to hit a kindergartner with a dodgeball]], specifically [[BigBrotherInstinct Hector, who Gus ADORES]].

After Randall gets Gus in the principal's office, T.J. assumed leader position after being a ShrinkingViolet most of the time, makes his first big speech, and for the first time, turns his baseball hat backwards and says his catchphrase for the first time.

However, T.J. uses all of his knowledge of the Comic to answer the question correctly, without having read the said comic!

Said speech is what got Prickly to change his mind in the first place and [[GracefulLoser admit his defeat to T.J. over the intercom]] after looking at the memorabilia of his hero and everything Fusion stood for.

Granted, the bully in question was quite the PaperTiger, but he was still far larger than Gus.
49	** In the same episode, Gus and Corn Chip Girl both stand up to their dads when they refuse to let them be friends just because of their petty feud with each other.
50	* In "The Substitute", the teacher not only defends Gus from being bullied, he teaches him how to defend himself. In addition, he gives each student the chance to work independently on projects that let them explore their interests.
51	* In "Pharaoh Bob", King Bob enslaves the playground into building a pyramid. When of his cronies bullies Gus, T.J. snaps and shoves him in the mud, then leads a revolt.

53	** Spinelli tries to scare Ashley A with a rubber spider. Ashley A gets a wonderful NoSell reaction without losing her regular ValleyGirl attitude, uttering a sarcastic and unfazed "like, eek."
54	** The Ashleys’ playground club house turns out to have a hi-tech security system that traps intruders behind steel doors.
55	* As peaceful and docile as he is, Mikey has shown several times that he's quite strong for a normal ten year old boy. He once lifted a monkey bar structure off the ground with one hand, something that shocks and impresses the other kids. He frequently shrugs off dodgeballs thrown by fifth and sixth graders, and one time even high-pressure hose, that knock down the other kids. If one looks closely during the brawl at the end of "The Rules", two large sixth-graders (one being the muscular Eric from "King Gus") can be seen struggling to restrain him.
56	** "Soccer Boy" Also shows that he's a pretty skilled athlete when he's motivated enough, managing to block every single goal thrown his way and managing to get a game-winning kick all the way from the goalie net.
57	* In "The Big Prank" TJ successfully managing to prank King Bob with a Whoopee Cushion and winning the title of "Prankster Prince".
