4	* The partner's development as a whole. Starting off too scared to even walk onto the guild's front door. Slowly develops more and more until they become badass enough to (with the main protagonist) defeat multiple Legendary Pokémon (which are minor GODS in the Mystery Dungeon universe) without even evolving. If the game was any longer, they'd probably fight Arceus himself and win.
5	* Wigglytuff showing Team Skull exactly why he has his reputation.
6	** Made even better after Generation VI—Wigglytuff is now part Fairy-type, and should be weak to every single member of Team Skull!
7	* Chatot's HeroicSacrifice in Brine Cave (he survives). It was a RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap moment for many.
8	* Grovyle's HeroicSacrifice after the battle against Dusknoir (he ''also'' survives).

11	* The so-called graduation test after the main storyline. Taking on "The Grand Master of All Things Bad"[[note]]the ''entire guild'' sans Bidoof[[/note]] is one thing, but doing so with only your partner as your sole ally? You're definitely showing your mettle by defeating them, and proving to the game that you're ready for the harder post-credits dungeons, since it takes preparation and strategy to take ALL of them down in one big boss battle.
12	* [[TheAtoner Drowzee]] sending the heroes into Azurill's nightmare was cool. What's even cooler? Saving them from the BigBad ''Darkrai'' himself. Ridiculously awesome when you realize that his moment of suddenly showing up saved the heroes and scared Darkrai away.
13	** On top of that, he (along with a few others) were perfectly willing to go with you to Dark Crater to defeat Darkrai. It wasn't meant to be, but the fact remains that many Pokémon were ready to help out. Also a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment\|s}}.
14	* Cresselia showing up JustInTime to help you with Darkrai and coming along with you to fight him. Also, just the fact that she's apparently been trailing him for a while, and keeps coming ''really close'' to finding him. She may be frustrating in-game, but story-wise, she's a fine aversion of TheGodsMustBeLazy.
15	* The player breaking free out of Darkrai's nightmare by ''attacking him'', realizing their partner would NEVER give up no matter what.
16	* Palkia intervening when Darkrai tries to escape, resulting in Darkrai getting amnesia.
17	** The fact that Palkia attempts to hunt down the Pokémon (he ''thinks'' are) responsible for the space distortions before immediately turning his attention to the real culprit after things are properly revealed to him. An aversion of TheGodsMustBeLazy at its absolute finest.
18	*** Special mention should be given to the moment where Palkia begins to suspect that the player and the partner aren't responsible. Palkia questions 'Cresselia' about 'her' insisting they were bad... but were they truly bad? The sudden mood change is one of the finest moments in the story arc, if not the entire post-game.

21	* In Special Episode 1, "Bidoof's Wish", Bidoof is alone, beaten up by Snover and his rogues Bagon and Gligar, and about to be robbed, when suddenly the ''entire'' Guild appears and thoroughly {{curbstomp\|Battle}}s the robbers in an epic battle for daring to hurt him.
22	** Even better if you somehow manage to take them all on and win. TheBattleDidntCount is in full effect, but still. It's a moment of awesome for the player.
23	** After that, Bidoof gets to continue on into the cave by himself and faces off with ''[[OlympusMons Jirachi]]''. And ''wins''.
24	* Special Episode 3, "Today's 'Oh My Gosh'", is rather underrated, for the moment when Sunflora apprehends the "invincible" Haunter:
25	-->'''Sunflora:''' There's no such thing as an invincible Pokemon! It was nothing but a ruse, right from the beginning! It wasn't invincibility or anything else! [[WhamLine Was it, guys?!]]

28	** Loudred then helps her beat the trio and arrest them as deserved.
29	** Even better, they do this [[IncendiaryExponent while burned]]. Considering Sunflora is a [[ElementalRockPaperScissors Grass-Type]], the heat really had to have been hurting her especially badly, but she ''kept fighting anyway''.
30	* Wigglytuff being the only one to figure out Ditto's ruse in "Here Comes Team Charm".
31	** Also, Wigglytuff figuring out the trick to get to Ditto's chamber in the first place when Team Charm had been stumped over the branching pathways earlier in the dungeon.
32	* Special Episode 5, "In the Future of Darkness", allows you to play as Grovyle. And in the end, you team up with Celebi and a reformed Dusknoir in order to fight Primal Dialga.
33	** While ineffectual, the Sableye unhesitatingly ''attacking Dialga'' when Dusknoir is threatened.
