![[Film/MenInBlack First film]]
* Dr. Weaver (foreshadowing her recruitment as Agent L) finishing off the giant cockroach.
-->'''Laurel:''' Interesting job you guys have.
* Dr. Weaver is a very intelligent woman, this is best seen when she's able to suss out the existence of MIB not just once, but twice at least. K's had to neuralize her on two seperate occasions to keep up the masquerade.
* Agent J's got a couple, mostly for the quotes given by Creator/WillSmith afterward:
** Before he joins the MIB, he chases after an alien on foot and tackles him to the ground, while saying:
--->'''J:''' You see this [badge]?! Huh?! [[PunctuatedForEmphasis N! Y! P! D!]] Means I will k'''N'''ock '''Y'''our '''P'''unk-ass '''D'''own!\
'''Alien!Perp:''' (out of breath, panting) [[VaguenessIsComing He's coming... he's coming...]]\
'''J:''' [[BadassBoast Yeah, and when he gets here, I'll arrest his ass too!]]
*** J being able to chase the alien down on foot -- an alien capable of running up walls -- was what convinced K that he would make a good replacement.
** During the MIB session at the shooting range, there's J's rebuttal in defense of him shooting [[CreepyChild a little girl]] instead of the "obviously" vicious-looking aliens. His explanation? The aliens were simply minding their own business, but then there's little Tiffany--a white girl probably only around 8 to 10-years-old walking through the ghetto in the middle of the night, carrying an armful of science textbooks containing subjects that are clearly too advanced for someone her age[[note]]If you pause at the right moment, you'll see the other textbook she's carrying (the one that doesn't say "quantum physics") says "relativity". So that particular textbook could be something about Albert Einstein's theory of relativity).[[/note]] and walking through a crowd of scary-looking but seemingly not noticing (or caring), so she ''had'' to be starting something.
*** The animated series reveals that the little girl guise is the preferred disguise of the Bug Queen. The little girl really is the most dangerous thing in that alley.
*** Dialogue between K and Zed reveals that J [[TheCuckoolanderWasRight actually did pick the right target]]. The "monsters" were depictions of scary-looking but ultimately harmless aliens!
---->Or do I owe her an apology?\
''(Zed smiles a little)''
*** Really, the whole series of tests serves as a collective moment of Awesome for J, unaware or no. For the written test segment, which showed all the other military personnel having difficulty marking down answers on the paper in the awkward, uncomfortable egg-shaped chairs they're sat in, he showcased his ability [[OutsideTheBoxTactic to think outside the box and come up with a practical solution to a problem,]] by grabbing ahold of the table in the center of the room and dragging it over to his chair for an easy surface to write on, which, in a profession that requires dealing with all manners of wacky alien shenanigans, is definitely a must-have skill to possess.
*** Enjoy your new threads, Mr. Smith. You won't need any others.
* A little moment, but while J and K are interrogating Jeebs, playing Good Cop, Bad Cop. The ''instant'' K shoots Jeebs's head off, J draws his pistol and puts K under arrest. Not even a microsecond to process what happened, just instant reaction.
* The alien bug may be a monster, but there's no denying that his murder of the abusive farmer Edgar is [[LaserGuidedKarma well-deserved]].
-->'''Edgar:''' You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.\
'''Alien:''' Your proposal is... ''acceptable''.
* K's speech about people:
-->'''K:''' A ''person'' is smart. ''People'' [[HumansAreMorons are dumb, panicky dangerous animals]] and you know it. 1500 years ago, everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. 500 years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and 15 minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow...
* After J dons his [=MiB=] gear for the first time:
-->You know the difference between you and me? I make this look ''good''.
* The tow truck driver was particularly ballsy when he faced "Edgar".
-->'''"Edgar":''' Hey, this is my truck!\
'''Tow Truck Driver:''' Yeah, and make sure you tell 'em that at the impound!\
''("Edgar" goes into the truck and grabs his shotgun)''\
'''Tow Truck Driver:''' ''(revealing his own pistol)'' [[DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu Please...]]
* When Laurel discovers the Galaxy in the little collar around Orion's neck, there's something rather awesome about the way the Galaxy is reflected in her eyes and she just goes "Woah..." That was some nice acting from Creator/LindaFiorentino, considering she'd just be looking at a marble.
* While doubling as a [=CMoF=], J is the one to realize how Edgar was going to get off the planet:
-->'''J:''' ''(loudly, to K and Zed)'' Hey! ''Old guys!'' ''(K and Zed turn to scowl; J gestures to the observation towers of the 1964 World's Fair mural)'' [[EurekaMoment Do those still work?]]
* During the tunnel ride:
** K casually telling J to "push the little red button" and "you may want to put on a seat belt" as the car goes into beast mode.
** K then pilots the car ''on the ceiling'' while casually cueing up "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGULJTnV6QI Promised Land]]" by [[Music/ElvisPresley Elvis]], singing along.
** Which leads us to this iconic exchange:
-->'''J:''' ''You ''do'' know Elvis is dead, right?''
-->'''K:''' ''No, Elvis is ''not'' dead, [[BeethovenWasAnAlienSpy he just went home]].''
** And then, as a capper, when he blows through the toll booth, K casually flicks a quarter backhand out the window…where it perfectly lands in the coin catcher.
* How Agents K and J shoot down a UFO which promptly crashes and skids towards them while very slowly slowing down. The best part is how [[UnflinchingFaithInTheBrakes the two agents don't so much as budge as it inches closer towards them]].
** It also should be noted that J obviously wants to move out of the way of the crashing spaceship, but holds his ground because K just isn't fazed.
* J has a particularly good moment when he’s stalling the alien from taking off in his spaceship. Upon realizing that he cares deeply about bugs, he proceeds to squish some cockroaches, getting the alien to come back with intention to kill J.
* Agent K's got some good moments, but his [=CMoA=]:
-->I'm going to get my gun back.
** [[EatMe Deliberately getting eaten]] by the giant alien who ate his gun, then blowing him up from the inside.
--->'''J:''' You need to ease up out my face 'fore something bad happen to you.\
(The sound of the Series 4 De-Atomizer charges ''[[OhCrap from the inside of the cockroach alien]])''\
'''J:''' Too late. ''(BLAM!)''
* TheReveal at the end of the film that the entire Milky Way galaxy is, just like [[MacGuffin The Galaxy]], inside a marble. In this case, one of many in an alien's collection.
* The tagline of movie poster basically sums up this movie and the franchise as a whole, "Protecting the Earth from the scum of the universe."
