Line #2 Awesome/HappyFeet


1	* The movie has multiple instances of hundreds of penguins dancing at once in rhythm. Sure, it's CGI so it's pretty easy to make for a halfway skilled animator, but it still looks and sounds awesome.
2	** And then there's Mumble, the Adelies, and Ramon braving a brutal windstorm as they fight against the powerful pressure of the winds to keep moving forward.
3	** And the scene where all the male penguins are tending to their eggs and braving the long and dark snowstorm. Also TruthInTelevision.
4	* Back-flipping Emperor Penguins. Enough said.
5	* Norma Jean [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech telling off the Elders]], outright insulting them, for banishing Mumble. Their shocked faces and stunned gasps show how they wouldn't think anyone would ''dare'' insult them so openly. But, Norma Jean doesn't care because that's [[MamaBear her son they're unjustly ostracizing]].
6	* Originally, Mumble would have lost his fluffy down when he was falling down the ice cliff to chase after the fishing boats. It was such a last-minute decision to keep him fluffy in the final cut that, thankfully, the storybooks for the first film still keep the original storyline. 7	* Mumble swam from Antarctica to ''Florida'' without so much as stopping to rest even once because he's [[TheDeterminator that determined]] to solving the fishing problem. He nearly dies of exhaustion and literally (and naturally) passes out from exhaustion upon making it to a Florida beach, but he still makes it and swam farther than any other penguin ever has before.
8	* Gloria [[CallingTheOldManOut calling out Noah]] when he rails on Mumble for leading the "aliens" to them... literally just after having vehemently denied their existence. Even his cohorts do a double-take at this apparent crack in his convictions, a moment where Noah is almost at a loss for an excuse. This then leads to an epic dance and sing-off between the penguins supporting Mumble and those supporting Noah, with the former dancing like there is no tomorrow and the latter reciting a [[OminousLatinChanting deep chilling chant.]]
9	* And ''then'' the so-called aliens finally '''do''' appear, finally confirming everything Mumble's been telling them to be true. Every single penguin, [[KnowWhenToFoldEm even Noah,]] then turns to Mumble on what to do. Mumble begins to dance for the aliens, then his friends and family join in, which leads to the ''entire'' penguin population dancing for the "aliens", finishing with the "aliens" joining in on the dance. Even Noah and the other elders start dancing enthusiastically with the rest of the colony.
