* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The theme song.
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z54yrk9WLOU Gotta Be Gettin' Goofy!]]"
* ''Any'' time [[TheSoCalledCoward PJ]] saves [[DistressedDude Max]], but three that stand out in particular are:
** In "Big City Blues", he jumps in front of a ''moving bus'' in order to save Max.
** In "O R-V I N-V U", he leaps onto the back of a moving vehicle and exploits all the flaws in the RV using the chestnuts he had gathered earlier (see Heartwarming.GoofTroop) to save Max from kidnappers.
** In "Max-Imum Protection", he manages to wake up from an apparently heavy slumber by hearing Max scream "PJ, help!" from almost the distance between their houses, and cut the rope the crooks were using to chase Max with ''safety scissors''.
* The climax of "You Camp Take It With You", while played for plenty of laughs, is the PapaWolf trope in a nutshell. Due to a misunderstanding, Goofy and Pete come to believe their sons have been kidnapped by bears in the wilderness, while a father bear simultaneously comes to the conclusion that the two campers have taken his cub. Despite being completely outmatched and scared out of their minds the whole time, Goofy and Pete are willing to confront a bear for Max and PJ's sake, and the bear is most certainly willing to maul them both for his boy. Thankfully, all three parties are still in one piece by the time their respective sons arrive to break up the fight.
* In "Where There's Smoke, There's Goof", Goofy and Max - two honorary firemen who have never seen any action before - are faced with the challenge of saving Mr. Huge's building from being burnt to the ground. And despite all the usual chaos and bumbling that ensues, they do succeed in their mission - saving the building, its owner, and his little pet goldfish from the fire, earning the man's respect and gratitude.
* Despite only being four years old, Pistol manages to save Goofy and Pete's lives in "Hot Air" by taking the wheel of an out-of-control plane and landing it safely on Pete's car lot, making it clear that she really does understand the mechanics of flight, cementing her AcePilot status.
* In "Wrecks, Lies, and Videotape," Max secretly films Goofy for "America's Most Painful Home Videos" to win a grand prize vacation to Hawaii. Pete offers to "help," only to steal the vacation for himself. This leads to a series of epic moments when the whole cast teams up to teach him a lesson:
** Peg kicks off the Awesome Moments by unleashing a tirade on Pete, telling him outright that he's a dirty crook and demanding that he return the prize to Goofy and Max. Pete tries to claim that he did it for her and the kids, but Peg [[ShutUpHannibal shuts him up]] and says that she won't go anywhere with him until he does the right thing. It doesn't work, but it's acknowledged InUniverse as her most successful rant ever.
--->'''Peg''': You just wait until Lardo gets home. I'll use my secret weapon.
--->'''Max''': What's that?
--->'''Peg''': '''''MY MOUTH!'''''
** When Pete ignores Peg, Max organizes a ''[[YetAnotherChristmasCarol Christmas Carol]]''[[YetAnotherChristmasCarol -esque plot]] to trick him. He, PJ, Goofy, Peg, and Pistol rig up a BadFuture caused by Pete's crooked ways: Goofy appears as a ghost who did himself in because of the theft, while Max pretends to have swindled Pete out of his car lot, forcing Peg to work as his servant. They up the ante by having PJ and Pistol pretend to be dangerous criminals who are following in Pete's footsteps. Pete is so utterly horrified by the vision that he returns the tickets and waits on the whole group hand and foot when they finally get to Hawaii.
** What's particularly awesome is that ''Goofy'' is at his sharpest here. He's downright devious as he acts like a ghost, blaming Pete fully for the theft and intimidating him into giving back the vacation. At the end of the episode, Pete gets sick of waiting on everyone and tries to leave, and Goofy scares him back into submission by saying a few words in his ghostly voice. BewareTheSillyOnes indeed!
* In "Leader Of The Pack", Max repeatedly tries to outsmart a gang of GreaserDelinquents who are bullying him and PJ and preventing them from eating at the local burger joint, on account of being a bunch of dumb kids. Max takes their insults to heart and tries his best to prove that he’s cool and mature for his age, failing every time. It’s not until he has a talk with his cousin Debbie that he realizes he’s overlooking his own innate skills and advantages over the teens by trying to grow up too quickly, and he starts playing to his own strengths. With his cousin’s help, Max gets some pretty sweet payback on the Duke, the leader of the teens, by tricking him into humiliating himself multiple times, and then easily beating in him a skateboarding race for rights to the gang’s turf - showing off how much of a master of the board he is for his age.
* Peg's epic retributive "cure" for Pete's "illness" in "To Heir Is Human". In addition to getting all the others (including ''Chainsaw'') in on it, she makes sure to get Pete where it hurts by making him think he's losing tons of money, bite him in the butt with his own lie, and even fake the guilt trips he uses against PJ coming true. ''That's'' a great MamaBear.
* In "Hallow-Weenies", Goofy and Pete are kidnapped and tormented by ghosts in a haunted house, trapped in a perpetual cycle of fear, leaving it up to Max and PJ to come up with a plan to rescue their parents. Their dads have rescued them from trouble before in previous episodes, so Max and PJ now have a chance to return the favor, and after getting some advice from Max's ghostly ancestor, their plan of attack on the ghosts is a rousing success.
* The climax of "Major Goof" where Goofy and General Bob save Pete from an out-of-control tank, and the old general finally gets to put his military knowledge to good use again by preventing all of from falling off a cliff - which also has the added side-effect of helping Pete's latest business venture succeed.
* Max and PJ cracking down on school bullying during their detective mystery spoof in "Lethal Goofin" is surprisingly awesome. At first, PJ is roped into it by Max's ambition as usual, since he's hardly confident in his ability to stand up to bullies and delinquents, but as the story progresses, he starts to enjoy himself and develops a desire to bring those who pick on the weak to justice. By the latter half of the episode, he starts to eagerly and confidently charge at his foes with Max to bring them down, which is normally very out-of-character for him.
* In "Frankengoof", the way Peg shut down an angry mob about to lynch an innocent monster by demanding to know what the monster had actually done to anger them.
* The ending of "And Baby Makes Three." Seeing [[TheChewToy Pete get injured karmically by the universe]] is funny, but seeing [[AbusiveParents the kid he's treating like a "feudal serf"]] (with an intensity seen here that's a contender for the absolute worst in the series) get back at him while dressed as a baby? So many shades of awesome. Especially considering this is one of the few times in the series PJ has shown himself ''not'' to be an ExtremeDoormat. The best part was when PJ bit Pete's finger after the latter said "Aww... [[DramaticIrony sort of reminds me of PJ]], back when he was cute..." and the look on his face was priceless.
* In addition to the active version in "And Baby Makes Three", PJ getting passive revenge on Pete is always satisfying. Some instances:
** Punishing Pete for refusing to pay him and Max for shoveling snow in "Winter Blunderland" by simply choosing not to tell the news reporters they captured Pete instead of Bigfoot right away.
** Pretending to be in life-threatening danger to coax Pete into admitting to being a liar and a hypocrite in "From Air to Eternity", complete with fabricated shock reactions.
** Technically not breaking his promise to Pete in "Tub Be or Not Tub Be." Pete [[LoopholeAbuse never made him promise]] not to ''[[ExactWords show]]'' that Pete was misbehaving. Also, the smug expression and pose after Pete is forced into VerbalBackpedaling.
* In "Rally Round The Goof", Pete is challenged by his rival Earl to the annual Spoonerville road rally, an event he usually does well in, except this year, he’s worried about a string of destructive bad luck he’s been having recently with all signs pointing towards the race going south. Pete’s fear of having a wreck is so great that it steadily impairs his judgment: causing him to second-guess everything he does, be easily conned by an obviously lying fortuneteller, and finally put Goofy (who DrivesLikeCrazy when he’s not already exhausted) behind the wheel of the car as his good luck charm. It’s not until Pete comes to believe Earl has stolen Goofy away for himself that his confidence comes back to him and he chases the man down in a rage, driving like an absolute lunatic through the last leg of the race to make up for lost ground until he easily beats him across the finish line, claiming first place.
* When [[JerkJock Tan Roadster]] shoves Pete down in "Gymnaseum", Peg walks up to him and [[MegatonPunch sucker-punches him]] to the ground in her husband's defense. We've seen Peg chew people out loads of times in the series, but it is a whole lot ''rarer'' to see her ''actually get violent with someone''. This reaction is a testament to how protective she feels towards every member of her family, even Pete.
* In the climax of "Buddy Building", Goofy, Max, PJ and Coupe all decide to risk their lives to save Ronald Streudelnossher from being crushed to death in a junkyard, and they ultimately succeed because of Max's quick-thinking and resourcefulness.
* At the end of "Dr. Horatio's Magic Orchestra", Pete recreates one of the most humiliating days of his life - the day he failed to perform "When The Saints Go Marching In" with his school band and was publicly ridiculed - so he can finally end his irrational aversion to the song and make peace with his past. And once he manages to overcome that hurdle, he embraces the ragtime number, plays on with Goofy's magical musical instruments, and gives a rousing performance that lasts for hours.
* In "The Good, The Bad & The Goofy", Goofy manages to keep his promise to Peg by rescuing Pete from his kidnappers and defeating Spud and Wally for good, in his own unique way. After fearing Goofy's destructive 'jinx' for most of the episode, Pete discovers Goofy's klutzy, accident-prone nature can be a real lifesaver when it's weaponized against his enemies.
* Pete going into an active volcano to rescue Peg's first anniversary gift in "Peg o' the Jungle", and then Peg going after ''him'' once it's shown he can't climb back out.
* The climax of "To Catch A Goof", where Peg, PJ, Pistol and Max manage to fend off a local burglar that's been terrorizing the town, through a mixture of ingenuity, resourcefulness and tenacity, while Goofy and Pete are currently in jail. Eventually, the two dads arrive with a cavalry of cops, as a result of Pete going crazy with hunger, to finish the job.
* Max admitting that he and PJ were manipulated by Leech to hide a stolen bottle of perfume for him and Leech getting arrested in "Maximum Insecurity".
* Pete gets another moment in "Three Ring Bind" where he, in true [[PapaWolf Papa Wolf]] and [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney Screw The Rules, I Have Money]] fashion, puts the circus ringmaster and clown in his place after the circus animals save Pistol from drowning in the river.
-->'''Ringmaster''': At least my puppy chow is safe!
-->(''[[EvenEvilHasStandards Pete]] gives the ringmaster a silent [[DeathGlare glare]] and grabs him by the collar.)''
-->'''Pete''': You're '''NOT''' gonna turn the animals that saved my daughter into dog food, see?! (''reaches into his pocket and pulls out a large wad of dollar bills... which he then shoves into the ringmaster’s mouth before releasing him'') They're '''MY''' animals now! So get in that mobile cage of yours, and get the truck outta here!
-->'''Ringmaster''': (''coughs up the dollar bills, stuttering'') B-but our truck... is down there... (''points towards the river'')
-->'''Pete''': I know. (''sports a [[SlasherSmile subtle but effective grin]]'')
-->(''cut to the Ringmaster and his clown lackey getting thrown off the bridge and into the river, screaming all the way'')
* "Unreal Estate" has Pete up to his usual tricks. Peg is fixing up a lakeside cabin for a lucrative real estate deal and orders Pete to help the hired man with the maintenance. Pete instead takes the money for the painter and uses it to buy an expensive fishing gizmo, and then hires Goofy to do the maintenance for chump change. The painter, Dutch Spackle, is not happy to lose his job and his promised fee, but Pete keeps him from interfering and blabbing to Peg at every turn. As expected, Goofy's attempts to fix up the cabin result in disaster after disaster, and [[NiceGuy Dutch keeps conveniently showing up to offer advice and help,]] which Pete takes with his [[UngratefulBastard characteristic lack of gratitude]]. Eventually, the house is destroyed with Peg minutes from arriving, and Dutch tells Pete of a person who owns an identical cabin and is looking to sell - neglecting to mention that the owner is Dutch himself. [[OhCrap The look on Pete's face]] when he realizes that the man he's spent all weekend screwing over now has him at his mercy is beautiful, as is Dutch's offer - the cabin for Pete's prized fishing boat. Pete ends up getting the new cabin secured just in time, only to watch the new owners raze it to the ground, as they only want the land. For all his duplicity, all Pete is left with is an old rowboat [[ObliviousGuiltSlinging and a captain's cap from Peg as a thank-you gift]] (although Peg does forgive Pete when he tearfully confesses what he did). Dutch may have lost out on a painting job, but [[KarmicJackpot he made off like a bandit.]]
