Despite supposedly being a light-hearted MagicalGirl spin-off, Prisma Illya is ''still'' a Fate series, which means there are many awesome moments.

[[folder:Prisma Illya]]
* The entire fight against the Saber Class Card.
** Especially the part where Illya uses Archer's Class Card to draw on Unlimited Blade Works and traces Excalibur!
** It's even more awesome animated. All with Illya's version of EMIYA played in the background.
** But don't take our word for it! Watch the whole scene in its glory [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfSdCSM9s9k here.]]
* Illya utterly destroying not one but ''all'' of the 100 personalities of Hundred-Faced Hassan. Yes, the schoolgirl really DID just completely destroy 100 legendary Assassins. By herself.
%%* And then there was the finisher against Berserker: NINE. EXCALIBURS. AT ONCE!
%%* The entire CrossOver with ''Franchise/LyricalNanoha''! Especially when Fate splits an entire building to save Nanoha!

[[folder:Prisma Illya 2wei!]]
* Chapter 16 of ''2wei'', even if somewhat not as epic as it could have been: Chloe launching ''Crane Wing Three Realms''[[note]]Yes, the same move Shirou used to '''defeat Saber Alter'''[[/note]] against [[ImplacableMan Bazett]]. And a CMOA for Bazett for all but completely shrugging it off.
* Chapter 21. "Broken Illusions" is pretty much a chapter long awesome moment for the Eighth Card a crazed [[PhysicalGod Gilgamesh]], who shows [[CurbstompBattle what happens]] when [[OhCrap he goes all out]].
* Chapter 22,
** Chloe forging and using broken Excalibur with Avalon as an opening attack against Gilgamesh. It was constantly pointed out in the original time-line and other series that it would take all of Archer's abilities just to manifest them momentarily and it was beyond his scope to even attempt to twist it, and she used both noble phantasm as ammunition in a second without even taxing her. Sure, it didn't even scratch Gilgamesh because he had the "Shield of the Gods" an anti-divinity defense, but it was still the second most broken technique in the franchise.
** Bazett charging [[StormOfBlades the Gate of Babylon]]; getting stabbed multiple times including her heart; then [[http://www.mangahere.com/manga/fate_kaleid_liner_prisma_illya_2wei/v01/c022/04.html using the pain and blood as a sacrifice]] to [[http://www.mangahere.com/manga/fate_kaleid_liner_prisma_illya_2wei/v01/c022/6.html a resurrection rune]] to ''[[http://www.mangahere.com/manga/fate_kaleid_liner_prisma_illya_2wei/v01/c022/13.html keep going]]'' and [[http://www.mangahere.com/manga/fate_kaleid_liner_prisma_illya_2wei/v01/c022/19.html ripping Gilgamesh's heart out.]] Gilgamesh survives, because he's [[StoryBreakerPower hax]] (because he's using all the mana he drained from the leylines to regenerate himself); but for a non-Servant (or a non-Magical Girl), Bazette is an absolute '''BEAST'''. (Really, had she actually been in the [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight 5th Grail War]]; Gil would have been dead on the floor in ''seconds'' before he could even hope to deploy Ea in retaliation, a feat that nobody else could accomplish.)
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdtB2mfnm0M Now in animated form.]]
* ''2wei'' chapter 26. Illya bitchslaps [[http://www.mangahere.com/manga/fate_kaleid_liner_prisma_illya_2wei/v01/c026/22.html Gilgamesh.]]
** What made this even more awesome was that she ''wasn't even transformed when she did it.'' She had already seen this massive, corrupted monster kill [[MadeOfIron Bazette]] during the earlier fight (she got better), yet Illya charged in and stood right next to the center of the thing as an ordinary, fragile, ten-year-old girl with no defenses at all, and ''slapped it in the face.''
** Followed up by her [[http://www.mangahere.com/manga/fate_kaleid_liner_prisma_illya_2wei/v01/c026/35.html combining Sapphire and Ruby.]] And kicking Gilgamesh's ass. By overpowering ''Enuma Elish''. As said by the King of Heroes himself.
-> '''Gilgamesh:''' ''So you meant to tell me that Ea's attack was defeated...?''
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Prisma Illya 3rei!!]]
* ''3rei'' kicks off shortly with Gilgamesh facing off against Angelica, the member of the Ainsworths with his powers, so most of his arsenal, and not only is Gil able to put up a decent fight once he steals Enkidu back, he is able to make his opponent look like a fool for most of the fight... then she stops fighting like ''he'' would. Cue OhCrap face from Gilgamesh.
* End of chapter 4, Beatrice scoffs that ThisIsReality to Illya (after she's been torturing Tanaka); which makes Illya realize that both Miyu and Tanaka had responded immediately that "people can't fly." The CrapsackWorld they're from has FORCED them to believe permanently that they cannot fly, ever. They cannot dream, they cannot hope. This is unacceptable. Then she transforms and announces that she's taking everyone's wings BACK.
** An extension of this occurs later when Illya and Kuro are facing down Angelica as well as the brainwashed Rin and Luvia, and Illya is told that she has to make a choice - either she saves Miyu, or she saves the whole world, as if she saves Miyu and foils the Ainsworth's plans, Miyu's world will perish and humanity along with it. Illya, of course, decides to TakeAThirdOption, declaring that she will save ''both''. Then Illya, Kuro, Bazett and Gil execute their plan, freeing Rin and Luvia and completely outmanoeuvring Angelica, allowing Kuro the chance to destroy the roof and walls of the castle tower where Miyu is being kept, which allows Illya to move in and fake out Darius with a surprise attack with Rule Breaker, exposing him as Julian and allowing Sapphire to reunite with Miyu. This also allows Gil to head underground during the commotion while everyone's attention is on what's going on at the tower and free Miyu's brother.
* An off-screen one. Miyu's brother managing to save her and launch her into another world. Meaning that he had to go against the Ainsworth all by himself, and considering that one of them is more than enough to hold off a Servant (heck the Head of the family can literally block Excalibur with one bare HAND for crying out loud!), and they all had Class Cards, he must be a grade A BADASS Motherfucker!
** Said brother is quite obviously the parallel universe's version of Shirou. Despite not even being a main character anymore, Shirou is ''still'' [[{{Memes/Nasuverse}} GAR]] when a situation requires him to be.
* ''3rei'' #23: Miyu's brother - explicitly called Shirou Emiya by Julian - shows his credentials. His opening move? '''Nine Lives'''. His next move? Projecting Ig-Alima, a weapon that ''Gilgamesh'' notes is a '''divine''' weapon. Something which even Archer and Shirou of Fate/Stay Night can't create without killing themselves. All these weapons are formed without him slowing down a bit.
** And then we get awesomeness squared in #25: Shirou and Chloe taking on Angelica using the Gilgamesh class card together. Both of them pull out Kanshou and Bakuya Overedge and they read her next attack in order to get in a sneak attack from below before finishing her off.
* Shirou installing the "Fake" Archer class card on to himself and transforming into a mixture of Avenger and Heroic Spirit EMIYA. It's as badass as it sounds. His new look is ten times cooler than that. What does he do with this power? He first starts using his new form to kick the ass of his world's version of Shinji. Unlike Fate/Stay Night, where Shinji is at best beaten verbally by Shirou and at worst overpowered by Shirou with a metal pipe, this Shirou holds nothing back and punches his face in, insults his fighting prowess, pities his very existence, etc. Given that this is Shinji, this was a reckoning long past due.
** What happened after he defeated Shinji? "Without a moment to rest, enemies with cards came by one after another." He defeats the next five cards and wins the Holy Grail War IN. ONE. NIGHT.
*** The fight against Saber Install!Darius. Early in the battle, Shirou stabs one of his arms using projected swords, but as expected from King Arthur, he won't go down easily, OneHandedZweihander or not. In the climax of battle, Darius prepares his WaveMotionSword move, but Shirou managed to ''dodge'' by crouching, as Excalibur was meant to be swung using both hands.
** ''3rei'' #43 reveals just what it took for the Ainsworths to capture Shirou. After he creates his own, snow-covered Unlimited Blade Works, he matches and surpasses Angelica's full-power Gate of Babylon, even deflecting her [[{{BFS}} Ig-Alima and Sul-Sagana]] with his own copies. It took Angelica's own [[SpaceMaster Flash Air]] - something the normal Gilgamesh does ''not'' have - in order for her to dodge a fatal attack and reclaim her advantage, and she ultimately needed to make use of [[InfinityPlusOneSword Ea]] to defeat him. Not only did he survive it, but he was able to successfully accomplish his goal of [[YouShallNotPass sending Miyu to safety]], essentially claiming victory over the Ainsworths despite his capture. Not even Julian himself tried to stop him when they briefly talked at the end of the Grail War despite what we've seen him capable of. Oh, and did we mention that Shirou launched a literal ''wall of swords'' into Angelica?
** Not to mention this Shirou is one of the ''very few'' people in ''the entire Nasuverse'' at this point to make an unambiguously successful wish using the Holy Grail (others being Marisbury Animusphere and Solomon in ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder''). Though in his case, it went above and beyond the wish he asked of it - Miyu was sent to a world where she not only found new friends and adoptive family who cared for her, and also found happiness with them, those friends were also loyal enough to go through hell and back to save her, but also determined to save her world as well without sacrificing her to do it.
* ''3drei'' #48: Rin manages to work out the Ainsworth's entire plan by piecing together the things she's seen and heard and knowledge of how a magus like Darius works. This leads her to discovering something important about the alternate universe: that in this universe's history, Pandora's Box was never opened.
* ''3drei'' #52: How does one defeat Beatrice as ''Thor''? Illya has a plan. She basically uses the Berserker card's secondary function, mixing it with the Rider card to basically become ''Gorgon'', with the intent of recreating Thor's final battle against Jormungandr, by taking Beatrice out with poison. Sure, it only breaks Beatrice's gauntlet and forces her to go all-out, but still, it gives her a fighting chance.
* ''3drei'' #53: Kuro ''seems'' to be fighting sloppily and wasting her blades against [=Berserker!Sakura=], until right when the mad wraith pulls her arm back to swing a death blow... and stops, dropping the sword and twitching. Turns out Kuro was buying time for Miyu, in Assassin form, to inflict poison on Berserker-Sakura. What's more, due to it being an airborne toxin, Kuro was fighting and attacking and dodging all while holding her breath.
* ''3drei'' #55: Illya's gambit of recreating Thor's death fails because the identity of Beatrice's Class Card is ''Magni'', the survivor of Ragnarok.
** This is then followed by the reveal that Beatrice had lost the fight from the beginning, as Bazett had already set up Fragrach, and Illya was only fighting to try and avoid killing her.
* ''3drei'' #58: Illya, with the help of the Berserker Class Card, saves Beatrice from the failed Fragarach attack. The Fragarach attack succeeded, but did not do enough to defeat Beatrice, who is now on an uncontrollable rampage. It didn't stop Illya one bit. In her own words, in another universe, ''Berserker can't be defeated, he's the strongest in the world!''
** ''How'' she did it deserves a mention too. Before the raid on the mud cube, Angelica gave Illya's Berserker card an enchantment to make it auto-eject after 10 minutes of installation so she wouldn't lose her sanity to the card. The ejection begins near the end of the fight, but she ''forces it back in'' and charges at Beatrice after Mjölnir starts malfunctioning from the Fragarach strike, ''then'' releases it so the enchantment catches ''Beatrice's'' Berserker card too, ejecting both and ending the fight. Everyone else thought saving Beatrice was impossible, but Illya did it anyway with nothing but improvisation and sheer willpower. It really shows how far Illya has come as TheHero.
* ''3drei'' #67: The girls are facing off against Darius, but despite everything they've learned and done, they are no match for the powerful magus: his Displacement Magecraft is so absurdly honed that he can attack from anywhere and everywhere and ''be'' anywhere and everywhere, repelling and evading everything they try. He underscores his threat level by destroying the Class Cards from ''within their bodies'', rendering all of Illya's newfound skills useless. Eventually, only the Archer Card is left - which is essentially Kuro's heart, and when he goes for it, there's nothing they can do about it. [[DyingMomentOfAwesome Kuro does not go quietly]]: knowing her number is up, she takes the [[ChekhovsGun Origin Bullet she was given earlier]] and ''rams it into her chest and'' '''[[TakingYouWithMe into Darius' hand while it's inside her body]]''', taking advantage of the only time she ''knew'' she could land a hit. The AntiMagic bullet gets to work immediately, destroying the magic circuits that compose Darius utterly.
* Everything appears to have gone down shit creek without a paddle. Miyu appears to have been turned into a Grail by Darius and swallowed by him. The world has ended, and only Illya, Tanaka and Gil are left. But that doesn't stop them from coming up with a plan to save the world by ''sending Illya's consciousness into the past'', with a method that is basically [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder rayshifting]]. Illya somehow manages to receive a mysterious box from Darius' past self from before his noble self started degrading, and decides to go back to Pandora's original time period to befriend her, in hopes of changing the past from a point in time where history wasn't established, knowing that she would lose everything in the process. This has an immediate effect on the point in time before the world ends - Miyu has somehow ''survived'' (declaring that she'll take back Illya despite not even remembering her face or name), and it's implied Pandora's outlook has already changed.
* ''3rei'' #69: '''Shirou with a gun'''. We can see how scary Shirou can be when he was properly trained by Kiritsugu in this timeline.
* ''3rei'' #72: Darius is still trying to rip a hole in reality with Pandora's Box, and he's gotten wise that the heroes are still clinging to life. After having her memories of Illya jogged by Beatrice, Miyu decides to respond by ''ripping a hole in reality right back'' by abusing the fact that Illya is being erased from the timeline.
** For Miyu to meet Illya, the one who could put the broken girl back together, was the entire reason Shirou's wish brought her to Illya's world in the first place. For Illya to be absent in this changing timeline, logically it would mean Miyu never left her own world to begin with -- and thus never used the power of the Child of God to do so. ''Which means she still has it.'' Cue Miyu ripping through Giant King!Darius' hand by invoking her '''[[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder Third]] [[Characters/FateGrandOrderCastersGToM Ascension]]'''.
*** The order of operations here must be appreciated. In [[AllThereInTheManual FGO Materials]], Miyu's Third Ascension is stated to be a WhatIf of Miyu accepting her true nature as the Child of God, something the Materials also state should be ''impossible'': Miyu's Child of God powers were used up in the trip to Illya's world, but if Miyu had ''not'' been sent on the trip by Shirou and never met Illya or Sapphire, she would've simply died in Darius' ritual. But with Illya having pulled her RetGone, the Counter Force is forced to adjust for Miyu still being alive -- [[BeyondTheImpossible we're in that impossible scenario right now, and Miyu knows it.]] Well played, Hiroyama.
** In the revised history shown in Chapter 67, Miyu shot down Julian-Darius with Archer Install before he could destroy the Archer Card. With Miyu's powers abusing the changed history, she ''still has'' the Archer Card despite it originally being destroyed along with Chloe. This means, by technicality, ''Miyu won the Holy Grail War''.
** This culminates in Miyu using the authority granted by winning the war to invoke her inner Holy Grail for a mass summon, calling six Servants to her side -- and they're ''not'' Class Card Servants. Pandora smugly points out how ''utterly screwed'' Darius is as we've suddenly jumped from ''Grand Order'' references to ''[[VisualNovel/FateStayNight stay night]]'' references, the BigBad now facing a collective assault from the '''actual''' Servant versions of Cú Chulainn, Cursed Arm Hassan, Medea, Medusa, Heracles, ''and'' Altria.
* ''3rei'' #73: Darius realizes the Heroic Spirits only have enough mana for one major strike, confident that they're all one-trick ponies. He vastly underestimates that it's all they ''need''. The Noble Phantasms of six Heroic Spirits at once '''utterly destroy''' the Giant King, Darius' previous bluster about "crushing Heroic Spirits with his bare hands" giving way to panic; he only has a few seconds of feebly reaching for Pandora's Box before he's ripped out of his oversized puppet by Cursed-Arm Hassan. It's a refreshing reminder of how strong Servants are ''supposed'' to be in ''Fate'' when they're not tied to all the baggage from ''stay night'''s setting -- [[PunyEarthlings those born of man do not fight a Servant unless they want to die]].
** ...But where's Emiya in all this? Turns out there was a little mess involving Shirou and Sakura to take care of first. It's revealed that Sakura's heart was never really ripped out by Shinji; it was instinctually sent to Imaginary Numbers Space for protection, which Shirou finds and restores, bringing Sakura back to life and lucidity. She returns the favor by using the Rule Breaker copy she stole from Chloe to purge Emiya's corruption. By some sort of miracle, Shirou and Sakura saved each other!
** And because of that, Emiya ended up summoned in proximity to Shirou at the Emiya household instead. He doesn't mind: [[BadassBoast Darius is still well within sniping range]].
** Darius ''almost'' survives the Noble Phantasm onslaught by catching Emiya's Hrunting shot inches from his face... but his celebration is premature: he forgot about Miyu. She gives the arrow a not-so-little push. Darius is blasted clean through in a glorious explosion, finally ending the battle with the mad magus.
