[[folder:The Eds]]
* The Eds getting rid of the Kankers with some fake weather in "Homecooked Eds." Ed even throws the Kankers, and their trailer clear out of the neighborhood. If not for Johnny, they wouldn't had to have dealt with the Kankers for the rest of the day.
* Ed's Mart. While it may not have seemed like a big deal back in season 1 (when it aired), it becomes this in hindsight due to being the ''only'' scam that not only completely worked, but also (assumedly) turned out a good profit for the Eds.
* "Dim Lit Ed" has Kevin making fun of Double D's class. Double D's response? Putting a ''Dunce cap'' on Kevin. Eddy follows up by forcing the cap down his head and the rest of the kids laugh at Kevin's misfortune. On top of it, when Kevin retaliates, Nazz calls him out for being violent! Also, the conclusion of the episode shows the Eds making a successful run out of a pet store, albeit much to Double D's disgust.
-->'''Double D:''' I'm SurroundedByIdiots.
-->'''Eddy:''' Who's complaining?
* In "Little Ed Blue", Double D and Eddy use a puppet show to with a couple of Ed's toys to make Ed happy. Eddy gives up immediately and Double D tries to tell him off about it. Ed pulls the string on the back of his monster toy while Double D isn't looking. Cue the toy '''''shooting a FIFTY-FOOT flame at Eddy and Double D.''''' Eddy's reaction sums it right up.
-->'''Eddy''': Nice toy.
* Ed and Edd overcoming their fears and putting up a convincing facade to scare the Kankers in "A Twist Of Ed".
-->'''Lee''': These guys are creeping me out!!
* In "Urban Ed" they build a cardboard city named Edtropolis in the lane. All the kids (except Jonny) loved it.
-->'''Kevin''': The dorks did something cool for once.
* Eddy and Ed actually holding their ground in a fight against Lee and Marie in the Valentine's Day special. Special mention goes to the moment when Lee is strangling Eddy. He manages to escape her grasp and defiantly bites her leg.
** Plus just the simple fact that ''Eddy'' was willing to fight the Kankers for Edd.
--->'''Marie:''' Where's our May?!
--->'''Eddy:''' ''WHERE'S '''OUR''' DOUBLE-D?!''
* Ed and Edd stealing Kevin's bike in "Luck of the Ed". What makes it awesome is that they deny his bike to him even though he is pissed and going for it.
* Ed and Edd in "Brother, Can You Spare an Ed?" finally get even with Eddy by having him wedgied and slammed into a tree branch in retaliation for having them suffer wedgies and using them as piñatas.
** Especially awesome as the entire episode's conflict [[NiceJobBreakingItHero was thanks to Eddy's own greed]] [[DidntThinkThisThrough and lack of foresight into the consequences]]. [[KarmaHoudini Not only did he try to get out of it]], he tried to make Ed and Edd take the punishment. [[LaserGuidedKarma Which only makes their]] [[TheDogBitesBack revenge all the sweeter]].
** The scam they use to get revenge on Eddy and pay Sarah back only costs one penny per shot, ensuring that the kids keep coming back for more. Rolf is so excited at the great deal he runs off and returns shortly afterwards with a ''gigantic'' bag of coins, which seem to contain '''quarters''' instead of pennies. Not only does this ensure that Rolf gets thousands of shots at Eddy, it is more than enough to pay Sarah back what she is owed with interest included, and maybe even enough for the Eds to have spare change for themselves.
* The Eds' ([[MyFriendsAndZoidberg plus Jonny]]) escape from school via a homemade airplane in "Cool Hand Ed", even though it failed.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ed]]
* In the episode where Ed is in a bad mood due to a pebble in his shoe. He actually makes ''[[BrattyHalfPint Sarah]]'' back off. (pictured right)
-->'''Sarah:''' ''Ed!'' You listen to me, mister! You can't kick me out! I LIVE HERE TOO!\
'''Ed:''' '''[[BewareTheNiceOnes SO MOVE!!!!!]]'''
** Everything Ed does in this episode is awesome, from telling his bratty younger sister where to stick it, beating up the neighborhood bully (by using ''Eddy'' as a baseball bat against him), making a seemingly harmless plastic toy breathe fire, roaring like Godzilla, and nuking the entire playground.
--->'''Ed''': '''BIG TROUBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!'''
** Even more awesome, though, was after Ed had scared off Sarah and Kevin, Edd and Eddy didn't even CONSIDER running away. All they did was try to get Ed back to his former self. Their lives were quite possibly on the line, and they STILL basically just stood there and took everything Ed threw at them, all in the hopes of cheering him up.
* Ed is pure awesome for a good 95% of the ''Boo Haw Haw'' special. It also shows what happens if Ed's [[PowerLimiter protectiveness of Sarah and his aversion to hitting girls]] are taken away: he utterly '''wrecks''' her in a straight fight, giving Sarah the much-needed asskicking [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty she'd spent the whole series up to that point not getting]].
** Plus there's how he beats the HeadlessHorseman/Kevin: he catches the "fireball" lobbed at him in his mouth, balances it on his tongue, then swats it right back at its origin with a good tongue-smack.
* Ed winning a spelling bee against Edd, even if it was through the words "ectoplasm" and "gravy".
* Ed '''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyrzaoxgpwc destroying]]''' Double D's house using nothing but ''[[MundaneMadeAwesome static electricity!]]''
* In general, anything related to his RealityWarping and SuperStrength abilities.
* While he's usually TheLoad or TheMillstone, he has his heroic moments, like saving Double D ''twice'' in "Don't Rain on My Ed", himself and Eddy in "Momma's Little Ed" or even saving Kevin from the Kankers in "Dawn Of The Eds".
* In "O-Ed Eleven", [[TheDitz Ed]], of all people, manages to puzzle out a map belonging to Eddy's mysterious older brother. Of course, he's still Ed, so he tries to explain it thusly:
-->'''Edd:''' Ed, how on earth did you do that?
-->'''Ed:''' [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment Because I am a brother, and Eddy's brother is a brother, and Eddy is a brother to Eddy's brother as a brother I am.]]
* Another moment of rare intelligence for Ed in "An Ed is Born": While Eddy's making big plans for his movie to show his brother, Ed's rooting about in his dryer. Seems like a typical [[TheDitz Ed]] moment... then Edd reminds Eddy that for a movie, they need a-
-->'''Ed:''' Camera. ''(Tosses it to Edd)'' Static-free.\
'''Edd:''' ...Why do you keep a camera in your dryer, Ed?
* At one point, Ed wants to suggest an idea for a new scam. Eddy shoots it down, leading Ed to burst into tears. Guilt tripped, Eddy begrudgingly goes through with it. Ed begins celebrating loudly, pausing only to slyly mention to Double D that [[WoundedGazelleGambit he learned that trick from Sarah.]] Double D actually smiles amused from this, realising Ed actually managed to outsmart Eddy.
* [[BigBrotherInstinct Ed defending Sarah from]] Edd in "A Fistful of Ed". Yes, Edd wasn't really dangerous, but Ed standing up against what he thought was his best friend gone nuts shows just how much he cares about his little sister.
* In "If it Smells Like Ed", Ed actually manages to help develop a REASONABLE theory on how to identify the perpetrator of a group of incidents which the Eds are wrongly accused of doing based on a footprint at the scene of the crimes where it would have been ideal to commit the crimes at the position of the footprint, as Ed notes. Mind you, this is ED we are talking about, who normally has the intelligence level of Patrick Star, if not worse, not some observant detective. Then again, he ruins the moment by [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} suggesting that the perpetrator is a foot.]]
* In "Momma's Little Ed," after Eddy uses a sticky note to convince Double D to ask the Kankers for some sugar, he and Eddy watch from a distance as things go about as well as one might expect. When they're through with Double D, who's been shoved into his hat and is crawling away, the two are found by them. As Eddy makes a break for it, Ed picks up the discarded measuring cup and holds them off by trapping their heads in a measuring cup: this is one of the few times the Kankers get some comeuppance.
-->'''Ed:''' Don't let me have to use this!\
'''Lee:''' What are you gonna do, bake us a cake?\
'''Ed:''' ''(shoves the cup over all three of the Kankers' heads)'' Wait for me, Eddy!
* In "Is There an Ed in the House?", Ed, under Eddy's advice, stands up to Sarah the next time she yells an order at him. Cue Sarah [[PaperTiger quivering]] the moment he does, and when Ed throws Jimmy out like this, she starts ''crying''!
-->'''Sarah''': ED! GO GET MY BALL!\
'''Ed''': [[BewareTheNiceOnes NO BALL! GET IN BED! REST NOW!]]\
'''Sarah''': ([[OhCrap fearful]]) ''Please'' get my ball?
* Doubles as funny, but effortlessly NoSell'ing Rolf's JackBauerInterrogationTechnique in "No Speak Da Ed" (due to a misunderstanding that Ed was allied with Rolf's old enemy from TheOldCountry thanks to the schools Foreign Pen Pal program), ''without even realizing what was going on''.
-->'''Rolf:''' ''(angry)'' Talk, Ed-boy!
-->'''Ed:''' Hi Rolf!
-->'''Rolf:''' ''(angry)'' Talk, I say!
-->'''Ed:''' Hi Rolf!
--> '''Rolf:''' ''(beginning to lose steam)'' Talk, you son of a gun.
-->'''Ed''': [[RuleOfThree Hi, Rolf!]]
-->'''Rolf''': ''(exhausted)'' [[PityTheKidnapper Please... talk...]]
-->'''Ed''': ''(who turns to have been waterboarded - with [[CoolAndUnusualPunishment oatmeal]] - for an entire night)'' [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Hi, Rolf!]]
-->'''Rolf''': [[WorthyOpponent The Ed-boy's fortitude is to be admired...]]
* Withstanding a strong thunderstorm [[DiabolusExMachina from nowhere]] just to get his buddies to the Candy Store in "Don't Rain on My Ed". He actually came ''very'' close to doing so before another DiabolusExMachina (a chicken drive headed by Rolf) distracted him at a crucial moment, though he still gets points for rescuing Edd from the chicken stampede when Eddy refused to do so.
* At the end of "May I Have This Ed?", Ed carries his friends to safety as Rolf's blowfish costume destroys Peach Creek Jr. High and entraps him, the kids, and the Kankers.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Edd]]
* Double-D has created many, many awesome things out of cardboard and other junk, but probably the best was the Thingamajig, the technological equivalent of a genie's lamp that spat out whatever its user wanted, including things bigger than the Thingamajig itself. And Double-D acted as if creating more than one would have been no big deal.
** One of Edd's first technological marvels on the show is in "Virt-Ed-Go": a motor-powered winch to get Ed up on the tree for their clubhouse.
--->'''Eddy:''' Double-D... You're a genius.
** Then there's [[https://ed.fandom.com/wiki/Rolling_Pin_Roader the special gear]] he uses to keep pace with Eddy in the race in "Eds of Tails." Edd might've won if it hadn't been for Eddy cheating.
*** No worries, Edd pays him back by flinging his shoe against Eddy's head.
** "In Like Ed" shows a fully functional JetPack Edd built.
** A lovestruck Edd has to do a rope-climbing exercise for gym, you'd expect problems for the lovable nerd, but he uses a device that casually pulls him up the whole thing, allowing him to easily ring the bell above.
** And let's not forget the PLANE he built ''out of random school supplies'' in "Cool Hand Ed". Granted, it didn't work out, mainly because it was overloaded and Double-D didn't have time to finish it, but it ''actually flew'', and quite high at that. Even UsefulNotes/TheWrightBrothers original plane didn't perform as well.
* In "Virt-Ed-Go", the Kankers pummel Ed and Eddy with water balloons, but Edd [[NonchalantDodge casually sidesteps every single one]] headed his way.
* In "Hot Buttered Ed", the Eds decide to steal Jonny's spot. Edd confidently walks over, calmly gets out a whistle and blows. Jonny sits up and dives into the creek without a second thought.
-->'''Eddy''': Double D! That was pure genius!
-->'''Edd''': ''(deadpan)'' Can we move on? This heat is unbearable.
* In "A Case Of Ed", Ed and Eddy have been alternating between tormenting a grounded Kevin, and tricking Edd into thinking he had a fatal disease. Both Edd and Kevin get their revenge when Kevin gets ungrounded early for good behavior, and then, when Ed and Eddy lock themselves in Eddy's house so Kevin can't get at them, Edd "accidentally" drops the spare key to the house, allowing Kevin to get in and get his revenge, watched by Edd who proceeds to list the symptoms of what can only be known as "[[LaserGuidedKarma Karma-itis]]".
-->"Kevin's Justified Pummel Disorder. Symptoms are bruising of the eye, followed by a sore rear end and a rapid decrease of hot air from an inflated ego".
* Parodied in "The Day the Ed Stood Still", when Edd stands up to Ed (who believes he's a monster), if it weren't for the fact Edd knew it was Ed and not an actual monster. However it's still Ed, the individual who lifts houses like it's nothing. So, whether or not he's really a giant monster, Ed is in that mindset, so for all intents and purposes, he is genuinely threatening in that he's sticking people to walls, planning to do god knows what to them.
* In "Avast Ye Eds", Edd plays a steel stringed guitar perfectly...''while reading a book''...and playing the guitar '''[[ImpracticalMusicalInstrumentSkills with his feet!]]''' The other kids, Ed and Eddy included, can do nothing but stare in awed silence.
* In "Pain in the Ed", Eddy wants to smash Ed's violin because Ed's a DreadfulMusician, but Jimmy is watching with specific instructions to tell Sarah if it happens. Edd suggests [[MakeItLookLikeAnAccident Making It Look Like An Accident]], so he sets up an extremely elaborate RubeGoldbergDevice that includes [[BatmanGambit the precise reactions of the kids of the cul-de-sac themselves as elements of it]]...and it works '''perfectly''', including the last little bit he added to save the violin.
* Anytime Double D [[BewareTheNiceOnes snaps]].
** In "X Marks the Ed", he angrily kicks the kids out of his house when they make fun of Eddy's pimple.
--->'''Edd:''' ''ARE WE JUST ABOUT DONE??'' [[GetOut Please leave in an orderly manner!]] In all my years, I have never seen such deplorable behavior over one's elevation of the skin!
** And who can forget the scene between him and [[SpoiledBrat Sarah]] from "Is There an Ed in the House?"
--->'''Edd:''' Why, you! If I catch your cold...I'll...I'll...[[BewareTheNiceOnes Just give me five minutes with that germ spreading brat!]]
** In "Stop, Look and Ed", he ''strangles Ed with his legs'' after Ed spills his ant farm. That's right: he choked the strongest kid in the neighborhood with his legs [[PowerBornOfMadness through sheer rage]].
* In "One of Those Eds," Edd's the only one who doesn't go gaga over the quarter (aside from Ed, who's swiping everyone's shoes). While the others are in a big dogpile, he calmly stuffs some cotton in his ears and sounds off an air horn to break it up. Then Edd actually succeeds in getting a group with Sarah, Kevin and Rolf in it to form an orderly queue (though Eddy tries cutting) to take a crack at the quarter.
* Despite being unintentional, Edd utterly DESTROYING three of the strongest characters in the entire series, simply through clumsiness, even breaking Rolf's skull.
* In "Cleanliness is Next to Edness", Double D manages to hold off ''Sarah'' for a short time by [[MundaneMadeAwesome gluing her hands to the floor.]] It doesn't last long, but considering how strong Sarah usually is, it's pretty impressive.
* Although he never catches on that Eddy forged the sticky notes from his parents as part of a prank in "Momma's Little Ed", Edd practically punishes Eddy by vacuuming up his "frisky" magazines and allowing his phonograph to be destroyed to make room for his ant farm. At the very end, he asks the little practical joker to massage his feet.
* Edd getting back at Eddy for bullying Kevin by getting the school nurse to inject him in "This Won't Hurt an Ed".
* "Mission Ed-Possible" has Edd lead his friends on a long chase, as Ed and Eddy are after their report cards which Edd has been tasked to deliver to their parents. It isn't until he reaches their cul-de-sac that they finally catch him [[BatmanGambit only to learn he never had the cards to begin with. Knowing his physical frailty would catch up to him eventually, especially with Ed and Eddy on his tail, Edd had secretly slipped the cards to Rolf and led Ed and Eddy on the wild chase as a decoy.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Eddy]]
* "HEY! ''[[PunctuatedForEmphasis HE'S! HAD!]]'' '''''[[PunctuatedForEmphasis ENOUGH ALREADY!!!]]'''''"
** To clarify, Edd, who has gone through a series of coincidences that make him look like a bully, had just gotten beaten up by [[BewareTheNiceOnes Jimmy]] of all people and the Kankers come in to give him and the other Eds the kissing ending they usually get, until Eddy screams at the top of his lungs the quote above to get them to shove off.
** Adding onto the above moment:
--->'''Eddy:''' '''Beat it!!'''\
(the Kankers stand there stunned for a few beats, then put Double D down and ''actually do beat it!'')\
'''Ed:''' ''(in awe)'' Good one, Eddy.\
'''Eddy:''' ''Vultures!''
** He then gives Ed and Edd hot dogs after they've repaired their friendship, and starts munching on one himself. Basically, Eddy didn't just [[EarnYourHappyEnding earn a happy ending.]] ''[[InvokedTrope He forced it.]]''
* In "Ready, Set...Ed!", there's a scene that ends with both him and Kevin judo throwing each other with enough force to leave their imprints on the ground. Taking into account that every confrontation Eddy has with Kevin ends with him running away or receiving a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown from the latter, this is the closest thing to an ''equal'' fight that Eddy ever had with him as he is giving as much punishment as he's receiving.
* In "Sir Ed-A-Lot", after being pushed to his limit playing "princess" with [[BrattyHalfPint Sarah]], he gives her a taste of her own medicine by proclaiming himself king and [[HoistByHisOwnPetard locking Sarah in her own "cage"]]. Now Eddy has the chance to have the last laugh while Sarah goes stark raving mad, screaming like a madwoman.
* It may have been profoundly stupid, but it said something about how damn ''durable'' Eddy is when he won't back down in competing with Rolf for the Hairy Chest of Resilience Badge in "The Good, the Bad, the Ed." He took a RIDICULOUS amount of damage in that episode and still wouldn't quit. Even though he lost, according to Edd it was only because Rolf, one of the strongest characters on the show, blacked out ''one second'' after Eddy did. {{Determinator}}, indeed.
* A minor one, but Eddy manages to run so fast in "Don't Rain on My Ed" that he manages to ''cause the pavement to unravel beneath his feet'' like a carpet.
* Just before the end of "Ed, Ed and Away!", Eddy takes on Sarah and Jimmy for the balloon, and wins. Bearing in mind that Sarah can usually decimate all three Eds without effort, Eddy willingly vying for the balloon in a physical confrontation shows a certain level of determination beyond his usual self-preservation when Sarah is involved.
-->'''Eddy:''' [[NoIndoorVoice GIVE IT, YA SPOILED BRAT!!!]]
** Another episode has Eddy once again fighting Sarah and Jimmy for Ed's seats to the Jawbreaker Factory. Though the fight is not seen, Eddy actually comes out with the seats and mocking Sarah and Jimmy, loudly calling them suckers. It's quite an impressive feat of strength and determination that he bested Sarah and Jimmy for their seats, even if his victory was in vain at the end.
* From "Oath to an Ed": '''''SHUT UP, SARAH!!!!'''''
* A small scene from "If It Smells Like an Ed", when Sarah falsely accuses Ed of stealing the paintbrush in front of everyone. As usual, Ed [[ExtremeDoormat doesn't react]], but thankfully Eddy stands up for him, tripping [[EnfantTerrible Sarah]] and telling her Ed did nothing wrong. In fact, most of the time, Eddy is not scared of Sarah.
* Eddy managing to persuade all the other kids (sans Double D) into breaking the rules in "Stop, Ed and Go", showing he's actually pretty silver-tongued when he wants to be.
* While Edd is usually in the right whenever he calls out Eddy for his actions, in the episode "Who's Minding the Ed" is anything but that. [[HumiliationConga Throughout the episode Eddy is forced to deal with Ed's animals constantly hurting him in several ways while Edd outwardly shows no sympathy towards him]]. By the end where all of the animals leave, [[NotSoAboveItAll Edd]], of all people, tries to call out Eddy for being apathetic towards Ed's depression. Eddy is justifiably angry over Edd's preachy behavior, so he decides to knock him down a peg by stuffing [[{{LaserGuidedKarma}} Edd into a bunny suit and leaving him to be hugged to death by Ed,]] both as a way of making Ed feel better and getting back at Edd for still trying to act like Eddy is always in the wrong.
** Even ''better'' is that he [[{{SugarWiki/AwesomeMoments}} sets up a scam for it]], which [[{{ThrowTheDogABone}} presumably was actually successful]], making his revenge all the sweeter.
* The first half of “Out with the Old, in with the Ed” is this for him. The fact that he (with Ed’s help) managed to alter everyone’s calendars, set up a heating system, and paint all the leaves on every tree in the cul-de-sac, ''without Edd noticing'', just so he could trick the other kids into thinking it’s still summer and scam them forever, is pretty impressive on his part. And if it hadn’t been for Edd figuring it out and Mother Nature intervening at that very moment in the form of a rainstorm, ''it might’ve worked''.
* In "Key To My Ed", [[{{MotorMouth}} Double D]] gives a lengthy lecture about morality and the goodwill Eddy will do if he "returns the key to its rightful owner", so Eddy gives him a BigShutUp. The ''real'' moment of awesome comes when Edd tells Eddy that there's no reason to raise his voice, so Eddy gives him a fake apology and, just when Edd turns around, ''literally kicks him square across the freaking cul-de-sac!'' One of many moments that proves that Eddy is ''way'' stronger than he lets on.
-->'''Eddy:''' "My foot apologizes too, Double D!"
* Eddy ''giving Kevin a wedgie'' in "Pop Goes the Ed" when the JerkJock erases his [[{{ItMakesSenseInContext}} pencilled chest hairs.]] It's a far cry from the later flanderized Eddy who would run away instead of fight Kevin.
* Any time he shows loyalty for his friends:
** In "Tag Yer Ed", he tries to build Double D's confidence and help him build his strength so he wouldn't be made fun of by [[{{JerkAss}} Kevin]] and [[{{JerkassBall}} Rolf]] anymore.
** In "Pop Goes the Ed", he acts as something as a big brother to Ed and Edd and tries to mentor them on how to be "cool". Some of his advice is actually really sensible, too, such as telling the other Eds to "stop talking shop" and "mingle" when they scare the other kids with horror stories.
** In "Dawn of the Eds", he plans to uses the money he could've spent on jawbreakers to try to get him, Ed and Edd into a movie Ed wanted to see.
** In "Laugh, Ed, Laugh", he protects Double D and Ed from a chicken pox-infected Jimmy.
** In "Rambling Ed", he helps Ed move out of the house and get away from his abusive shrew of a sister.
** In "Stop, Look and Ed", even after Double D [[{{ItMakesSenseInContext}} calls his parents,]] he still tries to protect him from getting beat up by the other cul-de-sac kids when they find out that he called ''their'' parents, too.
* In the comic "Retire Ed", the Eds have done every scam on the list, so Eddy decides to retire. Instead of being relieved by this, Ed and Edd try to bring him out of retirement, while all Eddy wants to do is sunbathe. They try everything: reverse psychology, schemes, cajoling, and still Eddy refuses. Finally, after Ed gets fed up and smashes a rake over his head, Eddy has had enough harassment, so he thinks of one more scam: Using Ed and Edd as piñatas.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Kids]]
* Jimmy's EvilPlan in "If It Smells Like An Ed" and the fact that it goes off so perfectly...[[EpicFail at least until Jimmy trips and falls at the end and begs Sarah to come help him up]], instantly [[StatusQuoIsGod regressing back into his wussy self]].
** The fact that even ''Double D'' failed to figure it out until just before Jimmy revealed it certainly helps.
* During the fight with Edd and Jimmy, after being pelted by one too many hotdogs from Eddy, ''[[BewareTheNiceOnes Jimmy]]'' ''freaking'' '''''EXPLODES!!!'''''
** Also, earlier in the episode, it was pretty awesome (& creative) of Jimmy to trim a hedge into the shape of a psychiatrist-like couch in a matter of seconds.
* In "Here's Mud In your Ed," when Jimmy teams up with Rolf to get revenge on Eddy after he cheated him out of his money. Very satisfying, considering how much Eddy is a jerk to him.
* In "The Good, The Bad, And The Ed", Rolf risking life and limb to win the "Chest Hair of Resilience" badge. Not to mention he handles all of the challenges with a lot more stoicism than Eddy. Wax of Wailing? Not so much as a flinch. Bumping of the Funny Bone? He orders Jonny [[BringIt to go even faster]]. Bramble Bush of Bellyache? He speeds buck-naked into the brambles without hesitation. Pendulum of Protest? "As is said in your country, LET HER ROCK!" Not even the Tour of Tears makes Rolf shy away.
* Rolf's back get cricked thanks to Eddy's bed scam in "One of Those Eds", so he demands a refund. Eddy naturally runs away, but Rolf hobbles after him, one hand supporting his poor back, catches up, and beats him up offscreen.
* Rolf in "Dueling Eds", dueling armed with a fish and beating his opponent to within an inch of his life.
* Rolf again ''squirting lemon juice in his eyes'' just to kill Cupid's minions, in the Valentine's Day episode.
* Jonny tearing up the Kankers' sail in "Avast Ye Eds".
-->'''Jimmy:''' Just like Creator/ErrolFlynn!
* Jonny's rescue of Plank at the end of "Home Cooked Eds".
-->'''May:''' Give me back my backscratcher!\
'''Jonny:''' [[PreAssKickingOneLiner Scratch]] ''[[PreAssKickingOneLiner this]]''.
* "Robbin Ed" was one awesome episode all around, specifically for the debut of Captain Melonhead: [[CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass Jonny]]'s superhero alter ego.
* Sarah gets one in "Truth or Ed" when Nazz accuses Sarah of telling Bobby-Blabby a false story about her (which she didn't, Eddy made it up) and calls her "Monkey Face". Sarah's response?
--> '''Sarah''': WHAT'D YOU CALL ME?!
-->''(Sarah hits Nazz with a toilet, sending her crashing through the floor. Nazz then runs back up the stairs and throws a tissue box at Sarah, which [[NoSell simply bounces off]].) ''
--> '''Sarah''': Nice try!
--> ''(Sarah proceeds to SLAM A FREAKING CAR ON NAZZ!)''
** Later in the episode, [[FreezeFrameBonus if you look closely]], a newspaper implies it was the ''principal's'' car.
* At the beginning of "For the Ed, by the Ed" the Kankers (who were torturing Jimmy) are defeated by... '''Plank!!'''
** And of course, at the end, Plank is elected king of the cul-de-sac.
* The few episodes where the kids and the Eds actually band together to stop a much bigger force are just awesome:
** "Boom Boom Out Goes the Ed", where the entire cul-de-sac faces a major black out. Ed, being the B-Movie/comic book fan that he is, declares that the the sudden power outage was caused by a pack of mole mutants that reside in the sewer. Of course, this causes a massive panic amongst the kids (sans Double D, Eddy, Kevin, and Rolf), but Jonny, of all people, hatches a plan to slay the mutants by flushing multiple toilets at once to flood the sewers. Everyone agrees to the plan, and they all work together to simultaneously flush their bathroom toilets, resulting in a sewer flood so huge, the sewage rockets out of the neighborhood manholes like geysers. Afterwards, the power ''[[ContrivedCoincidence is actually restored]]'', and the kids cheer in victory. Obviously, there were no mole mutants to begin with, but the fact that everyone was willing to work together to resolve a common issue makes the episode all the more awesome.
** "The Eds are Coming, The Eds are Coming", the CN-invaded special. When "aliens" seemingly threaten the cul-de-sac and capture Rolf as a result, the neighborhood bans together to form a full-on alien-fighting team (with Kevin as the leader and Double D as the brains), complete with a home base within Kevin's basement. The scene where all the kids prepare for battle is especially epic.
* Whenever Eddy does something that completely merits whatever fate he's handed, (which is fairly often) it's satisfying to see the kids get back at him for being such a jerk. One example in particular comes from "Cry Ed": after spending the afternoon trying to steal attention from an injury-prone Jimmy, as well as counter Sarah's attempts to make sure Jimmy gets the attention he deserves, and Edd's attempt to stop Eddy's game by turning a rubber glove into a bubble suit (which he quickly deems a change in the rules), Eddy winds up trapped in a hole with Kevin and Rolf, who are very unhappy with him landing on them while wearing a stove (ItsALongStory). Kevin's ready to pound, but Eddy claims that with his armor, he's invincible. Rolf immediately claims that he can see shoddy spot-welding from a distance of twenty goats. Rolf then lays his tongue on the stove, finds a weak spot, and splits the stove open with a single punch, leaving Eddy defenseless to his ensuing pounding.
-->'''Kevin''': Pick a body part, Rolf.
-->'''Rolf''': I am quite partial to feet, Kevin.
* In "Hand Me Down Ed," when Jimmy gets ahold of the boomerang, he (albeit temporarily) becomes big and strong and proceeds to slam a ''mailbox'' on Kevin.
* In "Stuck In Ed," Jimmy manages to come up with an ice pop scam. Eddy angrily rejects it, but Jimmy ends up coming on top when he makes a lot of cash with his scam at the end of the episode.
* Sarah and Jimmy have their moments when they use their creativity to become successful in scams and social events, such as Jimmy's ice pop scam (as mentioned), their beauty salon, their rich club, and Jimmy' gingerbread neighborhood in the Christmas special (too bad Eddy devoured it all). Heck, Even the Eds (well mostly Eddy) are shown to be impressed by them.
* Nazz gets a minor one in the episode "Will Work For Ed" when she not only sides with Eddy, but she is able to explain the "Workers Rights Act" word by word. Not bad for someone who's supposed to be the BrainlessBeauty of the show.
-->'''Nazz:''' According to the Workers' Rights Act, Subsection E, Paraphrase IV, Eddy is entitled to express formal protest as to wherefore must be totally respected. ''*{{beat}} while everyone stares at her*'' ...Babysitters gotta know this stuff!
* Nazz kicking Eddy into a fire hydrant when he tried to put his arm around her in "An Ed is Born". She didn't know it was him but he still had it coming.
* In "The Eds are Coming", the kids come up with the idea to use Nazz as a sacrifice for the alien, so she's tied up a la [[Franchise/KingKong Ann Darrow]]. Edd urges her to think of this as a sacrifice to save the cul-de-sac but she slaps him before he can finish.
* In "An Ed Is Born," Rolf gets one at the end of the episode when he beats the tar out of Eddy and Ed (while not targeting Edd) for stealing his chickens again. [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments This also counted as a funny moment]].

[[folder:The Kankers]]
* The Kankers CurbStompBattle the Eds in a wrestling match in a wresteling match in "Tag Yer Ed". Eventually all three of them gang up on Eddy and after soundly defeating him, take him and his friends and [[HumanKnot tie them all together into a giant knot in the center of the ring]].
* The Kanker Sisters' GambitRoulette in "Honor Thy Ed" to lure the Eds into a haunted house and exploiting their weaknesses to get them all together on a model train, which shuttles them to a secret room where the Kankers "marry" them. Special mention goes to Eddy boasting that they didn't force him to wear a ring, only to have Lee point out that he's been wearing his all along in the form of [[ChekhovsGun a door lock he's had stuck on his finger for most of the episode]].
-->'''Eddy:''' "...''[[{{Touche}} Man]]'', [[{{Touche}} they're good.]]"
* May gets one in the Valentine's Day special when she's revealed to be good at Chemistry and chews out Ed and Eddy for messing up a chemistry experiment. Even Edd thought it was awesome.
-->'''May:''' Stupid! Don't you know never to mix beric oxide with an aqueous suspension?
* Although a majority of "A Twist Of Ed" revolves around Ed and Double D conquering their fear of the Kankers and scaring them off by giving them a [[ATasteOfHisOwnMedicine taste of their own medicine]] the Kankers themselves have impressive moments at the [[BookEnd beginning and end]] of the episode.
** All three Kankers manage to break into their respective "boyfriend's" homes and successfully ambush them, trapping them and subjecting them to their usual [[ForcefulKiss onslaught of kisses]]. Marie leaves her lipstick out for Double D to spot, tackles him once he finds it and freezes in fear, and [[HumanKnot ties him in a knot]] so he won't struggle against her, all while flirtingly [[TermsOfEndangerment calling him pet names]] and telling her restrained crush to be a man and pucker up. May hides inside a cupboard and Ed pulls her out [[FailedASpotCheck without even realizing she is there]], and after giving him a surprise BearHug from behind she manages to pull him to the ground and pin him, briefly singlehandedly overpowering the strongest character in the show, and all he can do is stare at her approaching lips in horror. Lee somehow gets into Eddy's shower drain and clogs it up, Eddy pulls her out in his half-asleep state and her presence immediately jolts him awake with fear. After he tries to escape she just [[EvilLaugh laughs at his efforts]] and pulls him back into a twisted ShowerOfLove. It is implied they set up these traps for the Eds sometime offscreen before they even woke up, [[BatmanGambit knowing they would fall right into them]]. Shows [[StalkerWithACrush how much the Kankers really know about their "boyfriends"]] and what they will go to to express their love for them and spend time with them, treating it as if it is just a surprise date for their boyfriends.
** At the end of the episode while cowering in a corner, Lee manages to focus when she notices Eddy hesitate and sees him sweat a single bead of sweat. She manages to show this to May and Marie just by grabbing their heads and they all instantly overcome their fear ''and'' think up a plan to outsmart the Eds, trap them, '''and''' [[TakeThatKiss get revenge by reestablishing their dominance in their "relationship" with them]]. They manage to catch on to what the Eds were doing in just a few seconds and [[HoistByTheirOwnPetard completely turn the tables on them with their own trick]], while [[BadBadActing pretending to still be scared]] just as a way to rub it in to the Eds. For all their effort the entire episode trying to get rid of the Kankers, it seems the Eds only succeeded in making the Kanker's feelings for them even stronger. Also, as a minor bonus, this is the only time in the series the Kankers manage to kiss the Eds more than once in the same episode!
--->'''Double D:''' ''(flipping through his book)'' Something's not right here! ''(Marie suddenly appears between the pages)'' Marie!?\
'''Marie:''' [[SarcasmMode Don't kiss me Double D!]]\
''(Marie giggles and approaches Double D with a love-struck smirk. He backs away sweating frantically.)''\
'''Double D:''' [[ThisCannotBe This can't be!]] They've turned the tables on us, Eddy! IT'S A REVERSE-REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY!\
''(Marie grabs his face, forcing him to pucker up, and chuckles evilly. She dips him and puckers up herself, preparing to kiss him. Around the room Lee is stepping on Eddy's center while holding him by his hair and legs, and May sits on Ed's back, restraining his arms; both are also puckering up and preparing to kiss the Eds)''\
'''Ed & Eddy:''' WE'RE TOO YOUNG!!! AHHHH!!\
''(Cut to outside the trailer and FadeToBlack as the Kanker's kissing can be heard)''
* In the comic "Where No Ed Has Gone Before", the Kankers bribed Jonny with a granola bar for him to run around the cul-de-sac with a toy flying saucer, knowing that Ed would take to it like a fly to honey. They then set up a fake flying saucer for the Eds to investigate and cornered them, kissing them to their heart's content.
