3	''Halo Legends'' is an anime-styled series of [[ArcNumber seven]] short stories set in the ''{{Franchise/Halo}}'' universe. What ''Anime/TheAnimatrix'' did for the ''Film/TheMatrix'' films and ''WesternAnimation/BatmanGothamKnight'' did for ''Film/TheDarkKnightTrilogy'', ''Halo Legends'' does for the ''Halo'' ExpandedUniverse. It was produced by Microsoft's internal ''Halo'' entertainment team, Creator/ThreeFourThreeIndustries, with the animation done by six production houses, namely Creator/BeeTrain, Creator/StudioBones, Casio Entertainment, Creator/ProductionIG, Creator/Studio4C, and Creator/ToeiAnimation. The shorts were originally released one by one on Halo Waypoint over the course of late 2009, before getting a full DVD/Blu-ray release in early 2010.
