!!!Literal Human or Animal Face Design

These sentient vehicles are literally vehicles with human or animal faces adhered to them.

!!!Windshield Eyes or Headlight Eyes

Headlight eye sentient vehicles have headlights as their eyes. Headlight eye cars have the face on the grill of the car.

Windshield eye sentient vehicles that have eyes on their windshields or windows. With windshield eye cars and other vehicles the entire front of the car or other vehicle is the face, maximizing the emotional real estate. These types of vehicles are usually shown without drivers, pilots, or engineers, which leads to questions as to what is in the interior of the vehicle.

!!Anthropomorphism Styles of Sentient Vehicles

!!!Elastic Style

These types of sentient vehicles can walk, grow limbs, morph into evident human or animal body shapes, and manipulate objects with spontaneously grown hands. Their body language can be read easily as that of humans or other animals. These types of sentient vehicles are most common in somewhat or really surreal cartoon worlds.

!!!Limited Elastic Style

These sentient vehicles are in a middle ground between the Elastic Style and the Normal Vehicle with Face Style can walk and manipulate objects with their wheels or wings, but they can't spontaneously grow hands or limbs or morph into human or animal body shapes. They mostly keep the form and shape of the respective vehicle they are. These types of sentient vehicles are most common in less surreal or semi-realistic cartoon worlds.

!!!Normal Vehicle with Face Style

These types of sentient vehicles keep the form and shape of the respective vehicle they are. They don't walk, manipulate objects with their wheels, wings, or spontaneously grown hands, grow limbs, or morph into evident human or animal body shapes. For example, tow trucks of this anthropomorphism style can use their hooks as hands as real tow trucks use them to tow cars with but not their tires. Cars of this style are often called "Heads on Wheels" as these vehicles' style emphasizes the face as their primary expressive feature. These types of sentient vehicles are more common in more realistic or semi-realistic cartoon worlds and the most common type of sentient vehicle found in live action worlds.
