[[folder:#-J]]
%%* ''WesternAnimation/AaahhRealMonsters'': Ickis.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/AdventuresFromTheBookOfVirtues'': Socrates.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius'':
** Jimmy is the franchise's adorable boy genius. This was especially evident in the shorts, movie and season one where he was a lot more shy, clumsy, awkward and naive. This is why he gets a lot of attention from girls both in-universe and in fandom.
** Brittany Tenelli is ditzy, off-the-wall and as sweet as a jellybean. She's also the funniest one of the group, although she usually doesn't mean to be. Brittany is also easily confused because she's often lost in her own little bubble. More of her adorable moments include her giggling and trying to flirt with Nick.
** Cindy often acts shy and sweet around Jimmy when she's trying to flirt with him. She also acted like this towards Nick in the movie and early episodes.
** Jimmy's two best friends, Carl and Sheen. They are both just as geeky as Jimmy, through neither of them is nearly as bright as him. Carl is a LovableCoward who is obsessed with llamas while Sheen is a {{Keet}} who is obsessed with the comic book Ultra Lord.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTime'':
%%** Finn the Human, and a little less often, Jake the Dog. They're just a couple of aw-shucks, fun loving guys.
%%** The Ice King.
%%** Simon Petrikov, who he once was before the crown, fits as well. He and Marceline have some real awww-inducing interactions.
%%** This seems to be most of Lemongrab's appeal.
%%** Princess Bubblegum, when she delves into her more scientific side during Seasons 3 and 5.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/TheAmazingChanAndTheChanClan'': Tom Chan.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/AmericanDad'': Steve Smith.
* ''WesternAnimation/AngeloRules'': Butterfingers is considered endearing for his clumsiness and tendency to get shy around girls he likes.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'':
** Wakko is an adorable, precious {{Cloudcuckoolander}}, through and through.
** Pinky is a complete and utter goofball and it just makes him look all the more lovable, because he's sweetly naive. He's even this in ''WesternAnimation/PinkyAndTheBrain'' due to his {{Keet}} attitude and his ideas that have nothing to do with the Brain's TakingOverTheWorld plans.
** Runt is not nerdy but is quite the silly and lovable KindheartedSimpleton.
* WesternAnimation/{{Amphibia}}: [[CuteClumsyGirl Marcy Wu]] is practically the platonic ideal of this trope. She's a [[TeenGenius hyper-intelligent]], [[TheKlutz clumsy]], [[GeniusDitz goofy nerd]] with a MotorMouth who is [[GenkiGirl always going apeshit over her passions and hobbies]]. She's even the poster image of this page.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/AsToldByGinger'': Ginger, Macie, Hoodsey, Brandon, Courtney (at times when she's dealing with things the normal less richer people deal with), and Darren.
* ''WesternAnimation/AtomicBetty'': Betty is definitely this, usually when she's around her friends or crush. She's also something of a geek for comic books and science-fiction. She's very adorable.
* ''Franchise/AvatarTheLastAirbender'':
** From the [[WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender original series]]:
*** [[Characters/AvatarTheLastAirbenderZuko Prince Zuko]]'s adorable face + hilarious failed attempts at being social = this trope. Zuko's dorkiness started in Season 2 in "Ba Sing Se", particularly his date in ''Tales of Ba Sing Se''. [[http://piandao.org/screencaps/ep35/ep35-1079.png Exhibit A.]] He is often referred to by fans as an "awkward turtleduck". Poor guy ''really'' CannotTellAJoke. It's rather funny and odd because he spends most of the time being a no-nonsense warrior, WisePrince and [[{{Determinator}} stern pursuer]]. But when he's forced to be social, he fails hilariously.
---->'''Zuko:''' ''(after months of trying to capture or kill Aang, wishing to now join the group and teach Aang firebending)'' Hello, Zuko here. But I guess you probably already know me, sort of. Uh, so, the thing is I have a lot of Firebending experience and I'm considered to be pretty good at it. Well you've seen me... you know when I was attacking you? Uh, yeah, I guess I should apologize for that, but anyway I'm good now. I mean, I thought I was good before but now I realize I was bad, but anyway... I think it's time I joined your group and taught the Avatar Firebending... (It is then revealed that he is alone, practicing this speech in front of a badgerfrog.)
*** When Zuko and Mai are together and not fighting, their combined dorkiness reaches critical mass. [[EmotionlessGirl Mai]] [[TheStoic is not]] [[DeadpanSnarker normally this,]] but being around Zuko gets her all giggly and blushy. They express their love in [[IUhYouToo very awkward and adorable ways.]] The B-story in "Nightmares and Daydreams" is a good example.
*** Zuko's sister [[Characters/AvatarTheLastAirbenderPrincessAzula Princess Azula]] fits as well when she's not outright terrifying for it. In fact, when it comes to normal interactions, she's worse than he is. At least Zuko gets the idea of how to read audiences and tries (even when failing) to communicate normally. Azula has absolutely no idea how to talk to the opposite sex, or how to play sports without treating it as a battlefield.
*** The Earth King who is extremely naive for his age since he was kept in the palace his entire life while EvilChancellor Long Feng took care of politics. He is sometimes even called [[FanNickname "King Adorkable."]] Seriously, his pet bear is much more worldly and mature than he is.
*** Meng from "The Fortune Teller". A young girl with pigtails that defy gravity and a missing front tooth, who instantly falls in love with Aang solely because the titular fortune teller foretold that her destined lover would have big ears (which Aang has).
*** The professor/archaologist Professor Zei from "The Library". Loves his work with a passion, fanboys over Aang not because he's the Avatar but because he is a "living fossil," tries to communicate with Appa (while hushing Momo), admires Won Shi Tong's "foxy assistants" (actual foxes) for being handsome and clever, and can not understand what is so funny about the term "flying buttresses" because he's too busy being genuinely enthusiastic about architecture. He's also almost a PerpetualSmiler in a non-creepy way. Yeah, he lives in his own little world. Although this fascination with Won Shi Tong's library [[spoiler:ends up getting him killed]].
** ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'':
*** Zuko is like this even when he shows up at age 88. When he goes with Korra's dad and cousins to check on combustion bender P'Li in her prison, he tells them that he [[CallBack hired someone with a similar power to kill Aang once]]. All Tonraq can do is give a "WTF?" expression, probably processing the fact that he just said he tried to get someone to kill his best friend. Zuko's response is, "[[CaptainObvious Didn't work.]]"
*** [[Characters/TheLegendOfKorraBolin Bolin]]. This comes from being a [[{{Manchild}} painfully naïve sixteen-year-old boy]] who is spoiled by his older brother, as well as just an [[NiceGuy absolute darlin']] and the team's ButtMonkey. His pet [[WeaselMascot fire ferret]] also helps a lot. He's also TheCharmer who clearly succeeds because of his dorky nature rather than sex appeal. He is the fandom's puppy, and can do no wrong in their eyes.
*** Tenzin, which is especially funny because he spends most of his appearances being super serious and pretending to not have a sense of humor. And then Korra brings up his romantic past with Lin Beifong. Tenzin's NotSoStoic[=/=]TheComicallySerious moments are largely what contribute to this status. A lot of his facial expressions during his NotSoStoic moments wouldn't exactly look out of place on [[{{Keet}} his dad]].
*** Opal Beifong from Season 3 is a shy, sheltered girl who blushes and stumbles her way through her introductions when Team Avatar arrives in Zaofu. Naturally [[BirdsOfAFeather she and Bolin quickly bond with one another]].
%%** Aang on occasion. He is very playful, and is adorable. Be careful if he is on his avatar state, though.
%%** Sokka, on occasion. His moments of over-enthusiasm are the farthest thing from cool, but still endearing in their way.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/BabarAndTheAdventuresOfBadou'': Jake, the adorable, messy {{Cloudcuckoolander}} fox cub.
* ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries'': Most of the rogues can fall into this category at some point in their portrayal, and characters like Alfred have their moments. [[Characters/DCAUHarleyQuinn Harley Quinn]] is probably most notable for being painfully dorky when she tries to interact with the public after her release from Arkham (short lived), but there's also the Ventriloquist, when he's simply being Arnold, and Jervis Tetch, when he's either at war with himself, or prior to his spiral into madness. Tetch in particular, had some incredibly adorable moments of complete social ineptitude in his office; talking to people, especially pretty people was not his forte.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/BatmanMysteryOfTheBatwoman'': Rocky Ballantine is a female example. Look no further than her mention in DiggingYourselfDeeper.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/Ben10AlienForce'':
%%** Cooper definitely counts; even after he's had a growth spurt he's still a sweet kid with a crush on Gwen.
%%** Ben Tennyson at times.
%%** Kevin, more rarely.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/BeverlyHillsTeens'': Chester.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Birdz}}'': Olivia Owl is the thick-glasses, lispy kind. She's somewhat like an older version of [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Twist]]. Plus, her voice actress played [[Anime/SailorMoon another certain nerdy girl who's very cute]].
%%* ''WesternAnimation/BlinkyBill'': Shifty Dingo, who also doubles as a ShrinkingViolet, LovableCoward and TheKlutz.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers'': Tina Belcher.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheBrakShow'': Brak is a naive and somewhat gullible cat-like alien creature who constantly breaks out into an impromptu song. His "friend", Zorak, takes advantage of his naivety for his own amusement at times.
* ''WesternAnimation/BubbleGuppies'': Nonny. While he is not smiling a lot, he is an intelligent personality, and the most polite, smart and mature member of the group. In fact, he easily has the most fans as well.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/CampLazlo'': Slinkman, Raj, Clam, Edward, Samson, Chip and Skip, Lazlo and Dave.
* ''WesternAnimation/ChalkZone'':
** Penny Sanchez with her glasses, studious personality, and an utterly adorable voice courtesy of Hyden Walch. Helps that she is only ten years old.
** Rudy Tabootie. He's a little shy and awkward, an absolute sweetheart, and acts dorky around his crushes (such as Penny and Trina from "The Crush"). The fact that he has buckteeth and big ears just add to his dorky cuteness.
* ''WesternAnimation/CharlieAndLola'': Lola is eccentric, clumsy, and at times rather annoying -- but you just gotta love her.
* ''WesternAnimation/ClassOf3000'': Kam. AdorablyPrecociousChild despite his attempts to act mature and refined. Also one of two main characters to visibly blush (the other being Eddie). He also manages to combine this trope with JerkWithAHeartOfGold and DeadpanSnarker.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheClevelandShow'': Cleveland Jr. is tubby, mildly geeky, somewhat naive, sweet, and has an adorable voice. Creator/KevinMichaelRichardson has got range.
* ''WesternAnimation/ClueClub'': Zig-zagged with Dotty. She's smart and cute as a button, but what keeps her from the "adorkable" schism is she's as hip as any 13-year old (for 1976, when the show was made) and she's into rock and roll.
* ''WesternAnimation/CodeLyoko'': Jérémie. He's got a 99.87 grade average and ungodly computer programming skills, and has worked tirelessly for two years to give Aelita a normal, stable life. So that makes him a colossal nerd, an angel of a love interest, and just downright adorable physically.
* ''WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor'':
** In his comfort zone as TheLeader of Sector V, Numbuh One is a calm, collected badass. Outside of his comfort zone -- i.e. during father-son bonding, or in romantic situations -- he is a total nerd.
** Numbuh 3 for her cute, ditzy personality. She also acts like a little girl, and is AsianAndNerdy as well.
* ''WesternAnimation/DannyPhantom'', especially in his human form. Sweet, awkward, shy, clumsy, those wide baby blue eyes, and more. His phantom form in the earlier episodes could count, being nervous and scared when he started out.
* ''WesternAnimation/DCSuperheroGirls2019'': Each character of the main cast is this in their own way.
** Diana is very prone to displaying this type of behavior, typically when she's discovering "World of Man" customs but especially when Steve Trevor is around.
** Babs fills this trope as a spunky, energetic fangirl of pretty much anything heroic with Batman being her main fixation.
** Kara is tough as nails, but can't help but gush over cute animals. It's actually quite endearing.
** Jess is normally this in other media due to being more introverted and insecure of herself. She's still this here thanks to her girl scout-like idealism and willingness to see the best in others.
** Karen's a scientific genius who's rather low on confidence, making her cute as a button.
** Zee isn't this so much in the present day, but as a child, she was such a cutie thanks to her love of her father, and trying to hide her insecurities.
** Barry is just an energetic ball of dorkiness considering his love of playgrounds, selfies, and working at an ice cream parlor.
* ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'':
** Dexter, being the ChildProdigy he is. He is also socially awkward and incredibly nerdy.
** Dee Dee is an enthusiastic and bubbly GenkiGirl who loves ponies and everything girly.
** Mandark may be an evil genius, but he's also a childish, socially awkward dork who absolutely melts over Dee Dee.
* ''WesternAnimation/DocMcStuffins'': Stuffy, the adorably awkward blue dragon voiced by Creator/RobbieRist.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/DonCoyoteAndSanchoPanda'': Sancho Panda.
* ''WesternAnimation/DorothyAndTheWizardOfOz'':
** Dorothy is a happy go-lucky farm girl who always tries to find the best in everyone.
** Her best friend, the ditzy DumbBlonde Queen Ozma is a GenkiGirl who has quite an emotional attachment to Dorothy.
** The Scarecrow is a vast intellectual (thanks to finally getting a brain), but comes off as this when he gets tongue-tied when the Patchwork Girl is around.
** The Tin Man is the most emotional of the group and has so many eloquent speeches to share.
** The CowardlyLion surely lives up to his trope namesake.
** Even Wilhelmina has her moments. Particularly when her more giddy and girly side is shown.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Doug}}'':
** Doug Funnie is a shy, clumsy, awkward young boy with an enormous heart, which makes him adorable. Whenever his crush Patti is around, expect this to be turned up to eleven.
** Skeeter Valentine can be a little odd and awkward, but he's still beloved for those reasons.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheDragonPrince'': Practically all of the characters have varying shades of this trait, from [[BlackMagicianGirl Claudia's]] [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} hyperactive personality]] to [[TheGoodKing King Harrow's]] idea of Dirtmen ([[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Snowmen made out of dirt]]) and Mud Sledding.
%%* Peter Puppy from the cartoon version of ''WesternAnimation/EarthwormJim''.
* ''WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy'':
** Ed is a lovable oaf with a silly, playful, and innocent personality. He has a number of odd obsessions including sci-fi movies and comic books.
** Edd is cute, geeky, neurotic, kind, polite, and quite [[ShrinkingViolet endearingly shy]], especially around girls. And that's why all the girls (In-Universe and out) find him adorable.
** Eddy can come off as this at times, especially when he gets tongue tied over Nazz.
** Jimmy being a cute, delicate, accident-prone kid who cries easily.
** Jonny, a weird but good-natured {{Cloudcuckoolander}}. Especially whenever he's interacting with [[CompanionCube Plank]], a piece of wood who is also his best friend.
** May Kanker, Ed's female counterpart: she's naive, goofy, [[CuteClumsyGirl clumsy,]] UglyCute and the [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold sweet]][[TokenGoodTeammate est]] of the three sisters.
* ''WesternAnimation/FacesMusicParty'': Face is still the nice guy they've always been. They're always enthusiastic, zany, and a little [[TheKlutz clumsy]], and their trademark three-note trumpet VerbalTic endeared them to many children in the 90's and today.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'':
** Timmy Turner himself is a cute little boy who loves comic books and video games. He also isn't very popular at school and is shown to be quite witty from time to time. His big tooth also helps.
** Cosmo (particularly in the early seasons) is a goofy and [[TheDitz ditzy]] guy who nonetheless loves his godson and wife... he just has a weird way of showing it.
** Tootie, Timmy's StalkerWithACrush manages to be this -- she wears huge NerdGlasses, has braces and absolutely loves Timmy. Also, despite the fact that she tends to be annoying and creepy (not to mention that Vicky, Timmy's evil babysitter, is her [[BigBrotherBully older sister]]), she is mostly just a friendly, cheerful girl.
* ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'':
** Meg Griffin because she looks like a geek (she wears glasses), she's called a "wannabee loser", and because of her ButtMonkey status she's constantly picked on and made fun of.
** A parody of Creator/HughGrant, poking fun on his many roles and typecasting: "I'm just so charmingly befuddled."
%%* ''WesternAnimation/FanboyAndChumChum'': The titular characters and Kyle.
* ''WesternAnimation/FinalSpace'': Jeremy. In "The Sixth Key", [[spoiler:he gets very excited about Bolo's BadassBoast, which seems to slightly annoy his leader. He sheepishly replies with "I got inspired...".]]
%%* ''WesternAnimation/FishHooks'': Oscar.
* ''WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends'':
** Mac, Bloo's socially awkward, warmhearted, and [[AdorablyPrecociousChild adorably precocious]] creator.
** Wilt, thanks to [[NiceGuy his heart of gold]], but especially during his more "awkward" moments.
** Eduardo can be a tough purple monster whenever the situation calls for it, but he's really just a goofy and [[GentleGiant sweet-natured]] imaginary friend. He is also a LovableCoward who tends to cry a lot.
** Goo is a silly, talkative, and sweet natured MsImagination.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/TheFoxbusters'': Todd combines this with TheDitz and MinionWithAnFInEvil.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Freakazoid}}'':
** Dexter Douglas has the nervous and socially awkward traits that tend to make nerdy characters like him likable.
** One of the few traits Freakazoid shares with Dexter is his dorkiness, albeit more with an eye for pop culture.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}'':
** Phillip J. Fry, mostly due to his childish nature and his [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} kooky mannerisms]], and he's a [[Franchise/StarTrek Trekkie]]. He's not seen as particularly attractive in-universe, but he manages to date some fairly hot women at times.
** Kif Kroker, Zapp's meeker, smarter alien assistant, who tends to be a nervous ExtremeDoormat and becomes painfully shy when he's around his love interest, Amy.
* ''WesternAnimation/GlitchTechs'': Five, pretty much all the time (Case in point, he one time acted like a Metal Snake {{Expy}} in one episode).
* ''WesternAnimation/GravedaleHigh'': Reggie's nerdy moments and his implied crush on Vinnie certainly make him a lovable dork.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy'':
** Jeff the Spider, a GiantSpider with a sweet heart of gold and no desire beyond [[WellDoneSonGuy to be loved by his adopted father]], Billy.
** Billy is a goofy [[TheDitz Ditz]] who (by his own admission) [[AllLovingHero loves everything]] (except clowns). It's sometimes offset by his many [[GrossUpCloseUp Gross Up Close Ups]], and it's definitely more evident in earlier episodes; nevertheless, he's especially lovable when eagerly getting along with Mandy and Grim.
** His cousin Nergal Jr. is practically ''infamous'' for it. He is a CreepyChild, but that doesn't stop him from being a NiceGuy or an [[CuteMonsterGirl adorable demon spawn]]. He's also TheWoobie, since everyone else thinks LonersAreFreaks.
** His father, Nergal, is no slouch in this department either, what with his "IJustWantToHaveFriends" mentality.
** [[BlackAndNerdy Irwin]], who also doubles as a [[CuteMonsterGirl Cute Monster Boy]]. He's a NonActionGuy and TheChewToy, and is usually a NiceGuy (particularly of the [[DoggedNiceGuy dogged]] variety). Like Junior, he also comes off as TheWoobie due to his relentless suffering.
** General Skarr happens to count as well due to gardening most of the time or just being a ButtMonkey. He also the same dorky traits as his Evil Con Carne counterpart.
* ''WesternAnimation/HarveyBeaks'' has a lot of such characters.
** The eponymous character. He's a such meek, friendly NiceGuy and a very sweet child who gets along with nearly everyone. It's hard not to find him cute when you combine that with his huggable appearance.
** Claire is a shy and nerdy little girl who loves anime and has a ''huge'' crush on [[WildChild Foo]], often drawing her and Foo together in an anime style.
** Piri Piri an extremely sweet and idealistic daydreamer who loves to make art. She's also an immense {{Cloudcuckoolander}} (she says her art is inspired by her dreams) and is revealed to have feelings for Harvey in "Secret Gordon". Even her voice is adorable!
** Harvey probably gets this trait from his dad Irving, who is shy, sensitive, and a bit of a klutz, but also a very kind and loving father and husband.
* ''WesternAnimation/HazbinHotel'':
** Sir Pentious may be a total ButtMonkey, but his awkwardness, his lack of any social skills due to his many years as a distrustful supervillain, his willingness to give his all in everything [[ButtMonkey despite his goofiness]], and his tendency to [[ProneToTears cry during emotional moments]] make him delightfully endearing. This only gets amplified in "Welcome to Heaven" where [[ShipTease he tries several times to hit on]] his SitcomArchNemesis Cherri Bomb and is so awkward about it it's almost a crime.
** Charlie Morningstar is a big ball of sunshine whose childlike enthusiasm for the hotel and general kindness and optimism despite living in literal Hell, while also occasionally stumbling because of her [[GoodCannotComprehendEvil inability to fully understand the messed up mindsets of her patrons and coworkers]], make her a joy to watch.
** Her father, ''Lucifer'', of all people turns out to be a goofy BumblingDad who genuinely loves his daughter a lot, but just has trouble connecting with her because of his general awkwardness, best exemplified when he tries psych himself up before calling her and practice what he's gonna say only to accidentally let out a "Hey, bitch!". The fact that he invents things like backflipping rubber ducks that spew fire and that he is surprisingly short only add to it.
* ''WesternAnimation/HeyArnold'':
** Eugene. Despite being TheChewToy, his optimistic personality no doubt makes him endearing.
** Arnold himself. He may be an ExtremeDoormat who doesn't get the girl, but he still has a very active imagination and tries to be a peacemaker.
** Helga is a LovingBully and a LargeHam when she is expressing her secret love for the title character.
** Phoebe is AsianAndNerdy, cute, very nice and very intelligent.
** Olga is a perfectionistic and pretty young lady, but also very ditzy, sweet, childish, and has a very emotional attachment to Helga.
* ''WesternAnimation/InsideJob2021'': Brett and Reagan, if in rather different ways. Brett is a human doormat who DesperatelyCravesAffection, and thus acts overly friendly and chipper while being terrified of any responsibility. Reagan is an InsufferableGenius who loves BrutalHonesty but is incapable of dealing with any affection, and would rather build something robotic to deal with such problems.
* ''WesternAnimation/InspectorGadget'': Gadget always tries so hard to accomplish his duty with gusto, despite his constant pratfalls, that you can't help but root for him.
* ''WesternAnimation/InvaderZim'': Dib. His little dance with GIR near the end of "The Frycook What Came From All That Space" comes to mind. Also, this exchange.
-->'''Zim:''' Your loony "PARA-CHUTING" powers don't scare me, Dib. All it does is make you look stupid!\
'''Dib:''' It's para-NORMAL, and you're wrong, it makes me look cool!
* ''WesternAnimation/JellyJamm'':
** [[TheHeart Moral center]] Goomo is [[TheKlutz a bit clumsy]], cries cutely, has a SpeechImpediment and an eye for nature.
** GadgeteerGenius and JerkWithAHeartOfGold Mina, especially when her [[NoSocialSkills non-existent social skills]] are brought up.
* ''WesternAnimation/JimmyTwoShoes'': The titular character is perpetually cheerful, optimistic, very naïve [[DependingOnTheWriter (though sometimes he's just flat-out dumb)]], and always trying to befriend everybody he meets.
* ''WesternAnimation/JohnnyBravo'': Carl is a nerd who has weird hobbies and has built some strange inventions, but he's a NiceGuy who's very enthusiastic and outgoing.
* ''DerivativeWorks/TheJungleBook'': [[http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4dimam Tabaqui]] from the 2012 DQ Entertainment CGI version of the Jungle Book. Despite being a ManipulativeBastard and a SmugSnake, his nervous and cowardly nature make him a goldmine of cute, comedic moments. He's also a total IneffectualSympatheticVillain compared to the rest of the antagonists that Mowgli faces.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:K-R]]
* ''WesternAnimation/KaBlam'':
** Larry. He's sweet, shy, and a bit nerdy.
** Sniz and Fondue. Comic book obsessed buddies who are [[CartoonCreature ferrets (or cats!)]]
** June in the first season. For the rest of the show, the "dork" part was removed but she remained cute as a button.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Kaeloo}}'': The eponymous character absolutely loves playing with her buddies, is quite naive, she loves flowers and ponies and she has a slightly dorky voice.
* ''WesternAnimation/LittlestPetShop2012'':
** Sunil Nevla, the [[LovableCoward cowardly]] but [[NiceGuy polite and mild-mannered]] aspiring magician with thick Indian accent.
** Russell Ferguson, as he is TheSmartGuy of the pets. He is also a ScheduleFanatic with a case of ObsessivelyOrganized.
* ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'':
** In ''WesternAnimation/BabyLooneyTunes'', the incarnation of [[WesternAnimation/SylvesterTheCatAndTweetyBird Sylvester the Cat]] is a shy and nervous LovableCoward who loves tea parties and is kind to everyone, including Tweety.
** ''WesternAnimation/TheLooneyTunesShow'':
*** WesternAnimation/LolaBunny, a bubbly, perky GenkiGirl with a MotorMouth, who takes adorable ditziness to new heights.
*** WesternAnimation/PorkyPig. They used a more appealing design than his classic appearance, in part because they knew they'd be depicting him as shy, lonely, frequently depressed and generally taken for granted.
* ''WesternAnimation/MakingFiends'': Charlotte is cheerful, naive and endearing, despite being pretty ditzy and oblivious about the things around her.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheMagicSchoolBus'': Arnold has a bunch of dorky hobbies like collecting rocks and minerals but is also a neurotic NiceGuy.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheMask'':
** Stanley Ipkiss is meek, shy and a doormat but he is sweet, kind, adorable and polite.
** The Mask is wild, genuinely insane and can be too strong towards any girls he come across but he is sweet, polite, kind and has a charisma personality which helps bring any girls who are put off toward him to come over eventually and cares very much about his friends like Milo and Peggy.
** Evelyn is like Stanley but much more shy and meek than him but very sweet, kind and adorable.
** Eve is like The Mask wild, genuinely insane and much more stronger than him but she is sweet, kind and loves Stanley very much even with her making hearts in her eyes and a angel with a bow and arrow which fires an arrow through her head and even makes an alien face towards him just like he did with Evelyn which also shows her to be a massive dork as well.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheMightyB'': Bessie Higgenbottom is mostly friendly, incredibly geeky, wears big NerdGlasses and has a pretty cute lispy voice.
* ''WesternAnimation/MiraculousLadybug'': Pretty much everyone is this, especially our two main characters Marinette and Adrien. Except of course [[AlphaBitch Chloe]].
* ''WesternAnimation/MollyOfDenali'':
** Molly is a GenkiGirl who loves learning new things. She's super upbeat and sometimes awkward, but that makes her all the more endearing.
** Oscar because of his unfamiliarity with social cues. In "Fiddlesticks", he puts his hand on Molly's fist when she was really trying to fist bump him.
** Tooey is sweet and sensitive. He gets shy and tongue tied when put on the spot, which is pretty adorable.
** Kenji may be a down-to-earth guy, but he can get silly at times, especially his angry face when trying to solve the puzzle in "Puzzled". These traits make him very lovable.
* [[ComicBook/{{Superman}} Clark Kent]] in ''WesternAnimation/MyAdventuresWithSuperman'' is this, being clumsy (as a result of DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength) and awkward, especially around [[LoveInterest Lois Lane]].
-->'''Jimmy Olsen:''' So, you finally got a date with the girl of your dreams, and your first move [[StringTheory is to make a flow chart]]?\
'''Clark Kent:''' And a map!
* ''WesternAnimation/MyGymPartnersAMonkey'': Ingrid Giraffe may be the tallest in the class but she's shy and tries desperately to fit in with her classmates.
* ''WesternAnimation/MyLifeAsATeenageRobot'':
** Jenny whenever she deals with the real human world. Her appearance is quite cute and her insecurities and innocence can be quite endearing.
** Sheldon. Not only is he a geeky GadgeteerGenius, but he takes no effort into fitting with society due to his awkwardness. He has quite a crush on [[{{Robosexual}} Jenny]], who he is often helpful and sweet to when he gets the chance.
* ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'':
** [[Characters/FriendshipIsMagicTwilightSparkle Twilight Sparkle]] is essentially a former shut-in who's just learning how to maintain friendships. Despite this she can still spend days cooped up in her home reading books, and has evinced a tendency toward being ObsessivelyOrganized that [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E3LessonZero borders on the scary]]. It's on full display when we see [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftbdCR6OjQg her dancing skills (or lack thereof)]] at her birthday party in Canterlot, and she takes it further when she was a filly, in "The Cutie Mark Chronicles". In [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS4E3CastleManeia "Castle Mane-ia"]], she lays eyes on the library in the castle. She can now squee in three dimensions.
** [[Characters/FriendshipIsMagicRainbowDash Rainbow Dash]] is a PassionateSportsGirl and LovableJock who fangirls over [[TheAce The Wonderbolts]] and Daring Do, an Indiana Jones Expy. She's even willing to wear a very dorky looking sweater while posing with an owl. She also has some really cute moments, such as when going to see the Butterfly Migration with Fluttershy and her being a fun-loving coach in episodes like "Flight to the Finish". [[http://i.imgur.com/8yOzhWg.png Like this]].
--->'''Rainbow Dash:''' Aww... get to the nitty-gritty later! Tell 'em the important stuff! Like, who's the coach?! *blows whistle* That's right, ME!
** Even [[Characters/FriendshipIsMagicRarity Rarity]] at times. She prides herself on gems and fashion and possesses vast knowledge about both (in the former's case, her cutie mark is three diamonds). She even wears glasses sometimes while making dresses.
** [[Characters/FriendshipIsMagicFluttershy Fluttershy]]. Normally she's very well... a ShrinkingViolet, but if something piques her interest, such as animals, she'll get excited and starts talking your ear off.
** Seems to run in the family: Twilight's brother Shining Armor was a huge nerd before becoming a guard. When he gets a chance to talk to his crush Cadance for the first time, he manages to croak out a ''very'' awkward "Hello"; Cadance's observation is "Could he be any more adorable?"
** With the release of "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E4LunaEclipsed Luna Eclipsed]]", [[Characters/FriendshipIsMagicPrincessLuna Princess Luna]]. Especially with her use of FloweryElizabethanEnglish and some of her other phrases.
--->'''Princess Luna:''' Ha-hah! The fun has been doubled!
** Trixie, ''of [[LargeHam all]] [[SmallNameBigEgo ponies]]'', turns out to be a cute dork once she makes a HeelFaceTurn after her ArtifactOfDoom is removed. It’s also adorable seeing her trip while she runs away.
%%** Derpy Hooves. With her cross-eyes and her [[TheDitz ditzy personality]].
%%** Spitfire and Soarin of the Wonderbolts are this.
%%** [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E9SweetAndElite Hayseed Tur]][[ComicBook/MyLittlePonyMicroSeries nip Truck]]
* ''WesternAnimation/NatureCat'':
** Nature Cat himself is brave, enthusiastic, clumsy to a fault, and awkward most of the time. He makes up for it with his love for nature and enjoys helping his friends out.
** Hal is a happy-go-lucky dog whose innocence plays out like a child's would. He may be ditzy and [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} make random remarks]], but he can be smart [[GeniusDitz in his own way]] and would often get confused whenever he's complimented for it.
* ''WesternAnimation/NightmareNed'': Ned Needlemeyer is a nerdy, bespectacled 10-year-old who is shown to be quite nervous and timid, but also demonstrates a kind-hearted and endearing personality.
* ''WesternAnimation/OggyAndTheCockroaches'': Oggy. Besides being an expy of [[WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry Tom]], he often keeps trying, and failing to capture the roaches, and he is the biggest ButtMonkey of the show.
%%* WesternAnimation/OscarsOasis '': Many characters fall into this category but Oscar and Harchi stand out in particular.
%%** Oscar.
%%** Harchi the hyena also fits the bill rather nicely because he's a derpy as heck.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/PawPawBears'': Trembly Paw, who's also the LovableCoward of the tribe fits this trope nicely.
* ''WesternAnimation/ThePenguinsOfMadagascar'': Kowalski is a nerdy and highly intelligent penguin who is obsessed with science and reacts with almost child-like glee whenever something sparks his interest. He also has an unrequited crush on a dolphin named Doris.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/PepperAnn'': The title character.
* ''Franchise/ThePowerpuffGirls'':
** Blossom. She is intelligent and looks absolutely cute. In her spare time, she likes reading.
** Bubbles. Her playful, naive, and childish attitude as well as the love for stuffed animals qualify her for this. She is the sweetest of the girls, and would never want to do anything bad for a person in need. It helps that she's probably the youngest of the trio.
** The Professor. He would cause accidents, and is clumsy, but is also sweet, and there are times where he can ''really'' care for his children.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheProblemSolverz'' has Roba. He's a nerd who dresses as a robot, and is pretty intelligent to boot. It's no wonder he's a target for Alfe's teasing.
* ''WesternAnimation/ReadyJetGo'':
** Jet Propulsion, who is a CheerfulChild with his LargeHam tendencies and naivety about "Earthie" culture.
** Carrot Propulsion may be Jet's BumblingDad, but he is lovable nonetheless, especially since he cooks many odd Bortronian foods throughout the series.
** Sean. He is an intelligent, cute, yet easily nervous and possesses YouthfulFreckles.
** Even Mitchell can be adorably dorky when he's not being a {{Jerkass}}, especially in the episode "Solar-System Bake Off!", where he acts socially awkward around Jet and his friends when he is trying to gather information about their entry, especially Mindy.
* ''WesternAnimation/RegularShow'': Pops. His childlike demeanor, AntiquatedLinguistics and kind personality make him very endearing.
* ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty'':
** [[Characters/RickAndMortyMortySmith Morty Smith]]'s good-nature, stutter, attempts at making conversation with girls and the fact that he's mentioned to have some kind of ambiguous learning difficulty make him adorably sweet.
** [[Characters/RickAndMortyRickSanchez Rick Sanchez]] has a love for science and inventing while having a lot of dorky and cute moments.
* ''WesternAnimation/RockosModernLife'': Rocko is a kind, timid wallaby whose benevolence makes him come off as rather adorable.
* ''WesternAnimation/RosiesRules'': Crystal comes across as lovably dorky due to being a KiddieKid.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'':
** Chuckie Finster, a nervous, awkward kid with a heart of gold.
** Chuckie apparently inherits from his dad, Chaz, who is equally neurotic and good-natured.
** Stu Pickles, an inventor who is bumbling. He also can be childish at times, such as in "A Tale Of Two Puppies", when he begs Didi to get a puppy.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:S-Z]]
* ''WesternAnimation/SabrinaTheAnimatedSeries'': Harvey. Unlike the live-action sitcom where he was a popular jock, here Harvey is a cute but nerdy weirdo... who has girls fighting over him anyway, including [[AlphaBitch Gem]].
%%* ''WesternAnimation/ScaredySquirrel'':
%%** Scaredy is a geek with OCD.
%%** Dave is a lovably awkward FatIdiot.
* ''Franchise/ScoobyDoo'':
** Velma is smart, quiet-spoken, and sweet as all get out. Scooby adores her in ''WesternAnimation/APupNamedScoobyDoo''.
** Fred Jones has shades of this in ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated''. Particularly his love for traps and the way he acts towards Daphne at times. He's also dorkily cute in ''WesternAnimation/WhatsNewScoobyDoo'', especially when he's prone to MyHovercraftIsFullOfEels.
%%** Shaggy.
* ''WesternAnimation/SheRaAndThePrincessesOfPower'': This is like a second language. It's not restricted to the good guys, either.
** [[Characters/SheRaAndThePrincessesOfPowerAdora Adora]] manages to be played as both an AmazonianBeauty and as this, especially in the early stages when she's still very much a FishOutOfWater. For example, her first ever party has her reduced to StunnedSilence by her first encounter with a horse.
--->'''Adora:''' (having accidentally ripped her [[PrefersRocksToPillows overly comfortable]] mattress) Glimmer! ''Glimmer!'' I think I killed the bed!
** [[Characters/SheRaAndThePrincessesOfPowerGlimmer Glimmer]] herself is very enthusiastic and upbeat, at least early on, which can lead her here given that she's still a bit of an awkward teen. [[spoiler:She gets a lot more serious later, as TheChainsOfCommanding start being piled on.]]
** Bow has an endearing earnestness to him as TheHeart, and is also a huge nerd for First One tech. He's the guy who came up with the title "Best Friends Squad".
** Scorpia is good-hearted, scatterbrained, and surprisingly socially awkward when not hitting people for the Horde.
** [[Characters/SheRaAndThePrincessesOfPowerEntrapta Entrapta]] is an even bigger socially awkward nerd, to the point where she treats a party as a social experiment, but her upbeat, friendly and determined outlook earned her a lot of fans out of universe, and even managed to touch the softer side of [[BigBad Hordak]].
** [[Characters/SheRaAndThePrincessesOfPowerHordak Hordak]] himself is cold and menacing... but when he tries to actually express sincere thanks to Entrapta it's possibly the most awkwardly endearing thing he's done in any version of the canon.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'':
** Lisa Simpson, as smart as she is, is still a little girl, so she does have her moments of adorable dorkiness. She really loves her Malibu Stacy doll and on her Christmas list, she listed "pony" over and over again.
** Milhouse has NerdGlasses and is a naive, socially awkward boy who suffers some of the worst luck out of all characters. Not to mention about his crush on Lisa Simpson.
** [[Characters/TheSimpsonsHomerSimpson Homer Simpson]] at times, at least when not being a complete jerk. He's awkward, not that smart, but his goofiness and love for Marge make him lovable. Also, just look at him when he was a child.
** Ralph is an oblivious and innocent kid with a huge imagination who tends to make weird and inappropriate comments all the time. Despite his frequently stupid and odd behavior, his father adores him.
** Waylon Smithers is an older guy, but he counts due to his adorable vibe, his NerdGlasses, and his traits of a perfect way of completing Mr. Burns.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/SkippyAdventuresInBushtown'': Pos the cameraman possum. In the TitleSequence, Pos is shown trying to film Skippy walking towards him but the he trips walking backwards and falls on his butt so Skippy doesn't bump into him. It's only 1 or 2 seconds long and yet it is completely adorable.
* ''WesternAnimation/SkullIsland2023'':
** Charlie is a dorky, slightly awkward and somewhat high-strung teen working on a sonography vessel, with a squeaky voice that makes him sound especially adorable when he's irate at his dad not listening to him about wanting to go to college, married to a persistent sarcastic streak.
** Annie is a ferocious [[WildChild feral teenager]] who won't hesitate to maim you herself or set a {{Kaiju}} on you if she considers you a threat, yet she's constantly clueless about social interactions and gets various social cues adorably wrong while boasting about it, and her affectionate relationship with Dog is nothing short of endearing.
%% * ''WesternAnimation/SonicTheHedgehogSatAM'': Antoine.
* ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark'':
** [[Characters/SouthParkButtersStotch Butters Stotch]] is so endearing because of how hopelessly naive and innocent he is.
** [[Characters/SouthParkKyleBroflovski Kyle Broflovski]], when he's not busy going on adventures with his friends or trying to thwart Cartman's evil.
** [[Characters/SouthParkEricCartman Eric Cartman]], as evil as he is, is still a little boy, so he would often play with his dolls, and acts like a little girl, on occasions.
* ''WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants'':
** [[Characters/SpongeBobSquarePantsTitularCharacter SpongeBob SquarePants]] himself, who is an endlessly cheerful, optimistic and kindhearted sea sponge with InnocentBlueEyes.
** His cousin, Stanley S. [=SquarePants=], is a self-conscious [[TheKlutz Klutz]] who geeks out at the chance to take photos with some of the Krusty Krab's customers while working as a cashier, and is voiced by Creator/ChristopherGuest to boot.
** [[Characters/SpongeBobSquarePantsPatrickStar Patrick Star]] is a chubby, lovable but not very bright pink starfish who's just as childish and carefree as his best friend [=SpongeBob=], if not more.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Squidbillies}}'': Rusty, due to his naive nature. He is the only character who has any sense of consequences or morality and is easily the nicest character on the show.
* ''WesternAnimation/StaticShock'': Both Virgil and Richie are Fanboys of comics, superheroes, zombie movies, and video games, and heavily interested in the sciences.
* ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'':
** [[Characters/StevenUniverseStevenQuartzUniverse Steven Quartz Universe]] is an enthusiastic, dorky kid who is awkward about introducing himself to Connie, gets really worked up about things like birthdays or breakfasts, and will adopt as his new best friend and/or beloved child virtually anything that sits still long enough, even acid-spewing bug monsters or fully-grown lions.
** [[Characters/StevenUniverseConnieMaheswaran Connie Maheswaran]] is very shy and self-doubting, but after meeting Steven, she shows a much more vibrant and energetic side around him. She discusses her favorite books with glee and shows an absolutely ''adorable'' eagerness to join Steven in his adventures.
** Despite being a villain, [[Characters/StevenUniversePeridot Peridot]] gets in on this quite a bit, with her overall immaturity, high-pitched voice, and tendency to squeak when startled. After Steven lightly taunts her in a confrontation, complete with EyelidPullTaunt, she can be seen mimicking both the taunt and his preceding smug expression later in that episode. Doesn't help that in most of her appearances, she's [[IneffectualSympatheticVillain not that big of a threat]]. [[spoiler:Cranked up in "Catch and Release", when it turns out that without her limb enhancers she's no larger than Steven and even nerdier than anyone had ever suspected, pulling off stunts like slap-fighting with Steven and [[https://38.media.tumblr.com/b12487cc9fb733fdb237bb2c2368d3db/tumblr_nv7go8ftmp1qhe6cpo7_r1_250.gif attempting unsuccessfully to flush herself down the toilet to escape]]... and then again in "Log Date 7 15 2", where she explores life on Earth by getting obsessed with a Canadian teen drama, donning GoofyPrintUnderwear, learning how to tell jokes, and gloating over how impressed everyone will be by the paint-can stilts Steven gave her.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/SymBionicTitan'': Octus in his "Newton" disguise is nerdy, but also very sweet and often tries to make his girlfriend Kimmy happy. [[GiveGeeksAChance This trait is probably what made her fall for him.]] He also manages to "own" Kimmy's ex without even trying to ("You better watch it or I'll come after you!" [[ComicallyMissingThePoint "Do you want my phone number? It might make it easier to find me?"]]) Jason is also the "gawky nice guy" type.
* ''WesternAnimation/TeamUmizoomi'':
** Bot is a lovable demi-klutz RobotBuddy when he's not doing math work.
** And when [=DoorMouse=] chased his cheese in one of the specials, one couldn't help but awww at the cute, little mouse guard.
** Squiddy, with the way his inventions [[HoistByHisOwnPetard backfire on him]].
* ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles'':
** While not all [[AdaptationOverdosed iterations]] count, Donatello tends to fall into this category, particularly the [[WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2003 2003 show's]] version. Soft spoken and gentle, noticeably awkward and even ''clumsy'' compared to his brothers, and that's not even getting into the TeenGenius bit. Considering that the turtles don't have irises most of the time, the amount of emotion he conveys through his eyes alone is incredible, and can make big-hearted viewers want to hug him.
** The 2012 show has Leonardo take the steed. While still the leader of the group, he also has a fondness for an old Sci-fi show and uses this as his basis of being a leader. And it is ''adorable''. It's approaching ridiculous {{moe}} levels combined with his [[InnocentBlueEyes big blue eyes]] and the expressions he makes.
%%** Irma Langinstein from the 1987 show.
* ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003'':
** Starfire, for her unfamiliarity with Earth customs and overall naivete.
** Beast Boy, for being the PluckyComicRelief of the group, as well as his infatuation with Terra and his love for tofu and video games.
%%** Terra, when she's mostly around Beast Boy.
%%** Raven when you get past her Kuudere personality.
* ''WesternAnimation/Thundercats2011'': Tygra, an AlwaysSomeoneBetter [[TheDutifulSon Dutiful Son]] in adulthood, revealed in {{flashback}} as a big-eyed, gawky boy who approaches his junior position on the palace guard with nerdy zeal. The present day Tygra has a [[TheCharmer flirtatious streak]] while his younger self [[GibberishOfLove couldn't even form a coherent sentence]] when he first met Cheetara.
%%** Lion-O as an adult. Particularly in regards to [[spoiler:Pumyra]].
* ''WesternAnimation/TimeSquad'': Otto Osworth is a bespectacled sweetheart who seriously nerds out over history.
* ''WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures'':
** Hamton is a naive, nervous pushover with an optimistic and likable personality.
** Calamity is very nerdy, lovable and endearing most of the time.
* ''WesternAnimation/TotallySpies'': Alex is a cute sporty girl, sometimes awkward and ditzy, and very friendly.
%%* ''WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated'':
%%** Bulk head who is also from ''WesternAnimation/TransformersPrime''.
%%** Wreck-Gar from ''Animated''.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Trollz}}'':
** Amethyst is the group's clumsy, loyal and all around adorable protagonist.
** Topaz's ditzy, sweet, space cadet nature makes her a perfect fit. She is also easily confused, due to her head always being in the clouds. This is especially evident when she starts to cry.
** Sapphire is the group's bookworm. She is smart, ambitious, overly analytical and awkward with boys.
%% * In the ''WesternAnimation/TuffPuppy'' episode "Operation: Happy Birthday" there's a flashback to Kitty's 12th birthday showing she used to wear braces.
%% ** Teen Kitty in "Pup Daddy".
* ''WesternAnimation/TucaAndBertie'':
** Bertie has a good heart and is quite passionate about her baking, but also has serious social anxiety and tends to make a fool of herself in public. This just makes her all the more endearing and relatable.
** Speckle is extremely passionate about architecture and always tries to support Bertie in his own awkward way. Due to their shared dorkiness, he and Bertie make quite a cute couple.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{VeggieTales}}'':
** Larry the Cucumber is a lovable {{Cloudcuckoolander}}.
** Larry's girlfriend Petunia Rhubarb is a cute and dorky GenkiGirl.
%% * ''WesternAnimation/TheWeekenders'': Tino. Mordecai has his moments too. Who could forget [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpxUjcCXeIA&feature=related the song?]]
* ''WesternAnimation/WeBareBears'':
** Panda who is emotional, worried about not getting a girlfriend and not as social as his brothers and he's also an {{Otaku}}.
** Chloe Park is intelligent, cute, and socially awkward with humans but gets along well with the Bears.
%% * ''WesternAnimation/TheWildThornberrys'': Eliza.
* ''WesternAnimation/WinxClub'': Tecna acts like a robot a lot and it's suspected she didn't have any friends or feel emotions before meeting the rest of the Club, as well as her boyfriend, Timmy.
* ''WesternAnimation/WordGirl'':
** Becky Botsford AKA [=WordGirl=] is an enthusiastic bookworm who also loves stereotypically girly things like unicorns and princesses and will {{Squee}} about them any chance she gets. She also does things like assign herself and her allies code names like "Eagle" and "Ground Crew" for no apparent reason other than that it sounds cool, and has a tendency to make bad quips when she's fighting evil that she and only she laughs heartily at.
** Tobey [=McCallister=] is a nerdy boy in glasses and a bowtie with a VillainousCrush on [=WordGirl=] that often comes across as the supervillain version of a schoolboy crush, with all the giddiness, {{Crush Blush}}ing, and failed attempts at appearing cool and charming that this implies. For example, in "Have You Seen the Remote?", he tries to [[LeaningOnTheFurniture lean on the door]] to look cool, only for it to open behind him. After barely catching himself, he leans on the doorframe instead while acting like nothing.
* ''WesternAnimation/WowWowWubbzy'': [[TheSmartGuy Walden]] is already cute given how the other characters have these cute designs. However, he has these secret fears that make him pretty shy and want to drop out on adventures.
* ''WesternAnimation/WorkItOutWombats'': Mr. E is cranky most of the time, but he gets endearingly awkward whenever he's around his crush, Ellie. He also acts like an overjoyed little kid upon receiving paperclips in "Summerweenie Halloweenie."
* ''WesternAnimation/XavierRiddleAndTheSecretMuseum'': Brad, who wears glasses and a red cape. He is usually nervous, especially when it comes to time traveling with his friends. However, he is also endearingly shy and awkward, to the point where he often blushes. He also has his love for butterflies (in which he expresses glee over when one lands on him) and is a "butterfly scientist".
* ''WesternAnimation/XiaolinShowdown'': Omi has little to no social skills in the early episodes and gets excited over things he never experienced before. He also has the habit of butchering slangs and expressions, a trait he never outgrows.
* ''WesternAnimation/XMenEvolution'':
** Scott especially in the episode "Power Surge", where he can't seem to move without tripping, hurting, or humiliating himself.
** Kurt, for his playful nature, adorable elf ears, and constant joking, as well as his tendency to make Sci-Fi references with Scott when the two are doing something.
---> '''Scott:''' ''Teleporter to Maximum, Mr Wagner.''
---> '''Kurt:''' Aye Captain!
---> '''Scott:''' ENGAGE! *Both teleport out of scene.*
** Kitty Pryde has them both trumped. Geeky, a little on the clumsy side, and just plain adorable, especially when she's dancing.
* ''WesternAnimation/YoungJustice2010'':
** Tim Drake as the new Robin in Season 2 has his moments, especially when he gets nervous and flustered when put in charge of leading team alpha and his facial expressions to his teammates' antics.
** [[ComicBook/{{Shazam}} Captain Marvel]] is this almost from his first appearance, where he clearly just wants to hang out with the Team and be their friend, trying to do everything he can to be nice, friendly and helpful to them. However, since the kids are generally mistrustful of the League (as some of their mentors have been keeping secrets from them), they wind up keeping him at arms length until they find out that he's just a 10 year old kid whose superpowered form happens to look like a 30 something year adult.
** Zatanna is this in Season 1, mostly stemming from how she reciprocates Dick Grayson's banter and occasionally uses Buffy Speak in her spells.
%% ** Miss Martian during Season 1 is endearingly awkward in her attempts to fit in.
%% ** Robin, when he's around Zatanna.
%% ** Kid Flash.
