Unintentionally Unsympathetic edit kind of makes the The Scrappy edit redundant (plus I haven't found any evidence that Ravenia is nigh-unaminously hated out of universe).

* TheScrappy: While [[spoiler: Mark getting banned from the Changeling LARP]] is undeniably due to his own actions, people in the comments quickly turned against Ravenia when the situation began to escalate. [[spoiler: Specifically, she brought her primary partner Damien to meet her other partners in a non-neutral setting, seen as an invasion of Mark's gaming "safe space", plus she had not made Mark aware of Damien beforehand.]] No-one let Mark off the hook for his reaction, or for getting into a poly relationship without understanding the nuances, but the consensus is that Ravenia should really have known better.

Not a YMMV trope.

* ScrewTheRulesIMakeThem: Wayne's ruling [[spoiler:on the eyes that caused Mather's death]] is suspect; Mind's Eye Theater specifically says that a character doesn't need to see someone using a Focus or Gaze ability to be affected by it, they just have to have their attention. As such, Dustin has every right to be upset about [[spoiler:Mathers being killed]] by the decision.

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: While it's general consensus that Mark didn't handle his dating situation well at all, Ravenia gets presented in-comic permanently as a sympathetic sunshine even though her behavior is far from flawless: [[spoiler:No matter if she's in a perfect relationship with several consenting partners, she should have explained the situation to ''Mark'' as well before she just assumed it would be alright to go plant a kiss on him when he thought that meant she was cheating on Dustin. Also, the second she heard Mark was single again, she put the moves on him while he was [[OnTheRebound obviously still hurting fom his break-up]] and not necessarily in the best state of mind to go for something so far outside of his experience.]]

* MagnificentBastard: Joel definitely qualifies as of "The Hunters, Hunted" arc, if not before.

* BaseBreaker: If the comments sections on some of the comics in question are any indication, then the hunter story and its recent resolution - [[spoiler:via revelation that the hunters and weregeeks are part of an elaborate LARP the characters have been playing since the comic began, revealing the comic to this point has been a stealth chronicle of the "Weregeek" LARP]] - counts. Not everyone liked the hunter/weregeek war anyway, so some are glad just to see it resolved. Meanwhile TheReveal has been criticized as rushed and lazy , or praised as a good PlotTwist with a (hefty or mild) dose of FridgeBrilliance that helped explain any inconsistencies in the premise and presentation.

Turns out Mark was completely aware that it was roleplay and was just messing with Joel.

* FridgeLogic: [[spoiler: Take what you know about weregeeks being simply people in masks and apply it to Mark's antics whenever he turned into a geek obsessed shadow beast, which he thought was totally real. That means Mark is a lot less sane than he would care to realise.]]
