* ThatOneBoss: Dreadwing, he backs a very strong ranged attack coupled with laying bombs throughout the arena you fight him in.
* VariableTerminalVelocity: It seems the only characters who die from falling from great heights in this universe are the Vehicons. The physics of ''this'' universe seems to postulate that, if you're a heroic character the fall from the outer atmosphere of a planet won't kill you when you hit ground. [[Recap/TransformersPrimeS2E23InsideJob But if you're a Vehicon and your thrown from a ship flying in the air, you'll explode on impact.]]

* NoProblemWithLicensedGames: It's a pretty solid brawler game with some driving and shooting segments to shake up the base gameplay, which made many Nintendo owners that missed out on the ''Cybertron'' games very pleased. Much of this would be revisited and refined further in ''VideoGame/TransformersDevastation''.

This is not YMMV.

* ContinuitySnarl: According to a producer at Activision, the game takes place alongside the second season of the animated series, but could be "''wedged in''" anywhere in the season. However, this is impossible thanks to the makeup of the Decepticon team:
** Starscream is the main problem do to his defection long befor the events of the game.
** Airachnid isn't much better, her Insecticon minions were only under her control while she was an independent agent, and really only for a singal episode. That episode ended with her being locked into stasis and losing control over the swarm to Megatron.
** And of course Dreadwing and Starscream ''never'' worked together at any point during the series.
