*CultClassic: Downplayed, but even over a decade after its final episode, Rescue Force retains a strong fanbase for its fun atmosphere, stunning visuals, appealing characters, and how it plays every emergency completely seriously, with the jokes reserved for training or downtime scenes. The series was also praised for holding up to modern standards and is quoted by many as rivaling Super Sentai and Kamen Rider productions.

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: That being said, it follows the same principle as contemporary Toku shows in making up for it: Give the viewers an ABSOLUTE SPECTACLE. Rescue Force delivers on this with utter audacity, as not only are the vehicles utterly GIGANTIC but the presentation is crafted spectacularly well, leaving viewers with their eyes glued to the screen as soon as the heroes break out the toys.

* SpecialEffectsFailure: Rescue Force uses the standard CGI quality of the time period it was made in, and with the monsters and vehicles almost no attempt is made to make them appear more realistic.

* CharacterShilling: Episode 37 and 38 spent some time presenting us with Hikaru's sudden genius in regards to rescues, with both Eiji and Kyousuke, both of whom are well acquainted with his personality suddenly labelling him as the best choice for because he figures stuff out a couple times. This is ignoring the fact that Hikaru would be hopeless at all other Captain duties, not to mention being the youngest, the the rookie, and very reckless. While Hikaru might make good field calls, the show ignores the fact that the other candidate, Kyousuke himself, is far better at the administrative and core aspects of leading in favour of pushing the main character as the leader's successor.

* EndingFatigue - The show follows a standard SortingAlgorithmOfEvil up until the climatic death of Maaen in episode 38. It then becomes clear that, either for creative or budgetary reasons, the show did not have a new villain or gimmick to fill the gap until Batsu's introduction in episode 49, so it just Handwaves Maaen back into existence and brings back a parade of the previous villain gimmicks.
