* SpecialEffectsFailure: The whole production is mighty cheap, but there are three things that stand out as the most egregious. The first curse has a creature that is supposed to be a giant, but it's painfully obvious it's an actor in a werewolf mask standing in a tiny set to look larger than he is. It doesn't help that the method to defeating it is also really silly, which ends up being George riding around it in circles until it gets too dizzy and then it's stabbed to death. The second is how it looks when Lodac turns Sir Branton into a hunting trophy hung on his castle wall. It looks very badly done and frankly a bit silly. Lastly, the pathetic dragon that George fights as the sixth curse. It's glaringly obvious that it's made of paper Mache and it can barely move an inch. It just swivels its head around blowing fire and slowly whaps its tail at George until Sybil is able to restore George's magic and he walks up and simply stabs it to death. Forget that this dragon was breathing fire that should've cooked George and his horse to death, by the way.

This is never explained and yet it made the final cut of the movie. It's anyone's guess why on Earth it happened at all.

* TheScrappy: George is a whiny, petulant pervert who traps ''his own adoptive mother in a basement alone with no way out'' so he can steal the gifts he didn't earn to go rescue a girl he has been perving on for what we assume to be months or years. And it doesn't get any better after he faces the seven curses, as he basically bumbles his way through them and gets every single knight with him killed. He only succeeds against the dragon because Sybil gets out of the basement and teleports there to restore his magic. Without her magic, George literally would have died in the first or second curse, and he doesn't even thank Sybil in the end. Such a good hero, hmm?
