* IdiotPlot: ''The Word is Fear'', specifically: [[spoiler: Blossom's escape from custody relies on rather glaring holes in her security, not the least of which is the fact that her guard is conveniently carrying the key to her horn blocker with him when he and everypony else have no reason to believe she'll ever be safe to have it removed. In addition, it relies on the Princesses never making the choice to have her horn removed, which made sense ''at first'', when she was still reasonably lucid, (plus, it was her greatest fear because of what happened to her mother) - but after Blossom has proven herself a potential danger to herself and others, not so much.]]

Can only be crossed once.

* MoralEventHorizon: In ''The Word is Fear'', [[spoiler: Blossom killing Sweetie Belle (her own mother, who did nothing but try to protect her) is what get the princesses to treat her like an irredeemable monster.]]
** To readers, [[spoiler: Blossom throwing away any possibility of rehabilitation when she gives in to Rarity's voice in her head and murders her psychiatrist (an arguable AssholeVictim, though not so much by that point) several guards and a janitor.]]
** Another event that shows just how far gone Blossom is is when she [[spoiler:kidnaps Apple Seed, her honorary cousin, and tortures her both physically and mentally. She convinces Apple Seed that she is at fault for Blossom's killing spree, having convinced her to turn herself in at the end of Broken Blossom, and inflicts a knife wound on her that renders her unable to have foals, essentially wiping out the Ponyville branch of the Apple family line.]]

* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation:
** Did Silver Spoon genuinely want to make fun of Sweetie Belle over her sister when she returned to school or was she scared that Diamond Tiara would lash out on her if she tried to interfere, since Diamond Tiara was the only one to mock Sweetie Belle before she came back to school, while Silver Spoon asked Cheerilee if she was friends with Rarity in "Ripples"?
** When Sweetie Belle beat up Diamond Tiara, did Silver Spoon get Cheerilee because she was scared for Diamond Tiara's life or did she want to stop the fight because she [[EvenEvilHasStandards realized that she and Diamond Tiara went too far]]?

** Joyous Blossom, as well. She suffered a lot of PTSD after [[spoiler:Golden Necklace and Fire Ruby]].
