** [[http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/679/806/a3c.png This image]] provides a very worrying interpretation of Timmy, that he essentially ran away from his original life and family to start a second one with his Fairy Godparents and that he risks becoming more and more detached and antisocial.
*** Notably, the live action movies and "Timmy's Secret Wish" support this, during which Timmy either refuses to grow up or [[spoiler: wishes that everyone would stop aging]] all to avoid losing Cosmo and Wanda.

** Timmy's Jerkass behavior in season 5 may have been caused by the episode "It's Wishful Life" where he finds out that the world was better without him and everyone didn't care about him. He must have felt hurt and humiliated, so he began acting like a Jerkass towards his godparents and friends out of anger from knowing that they don't care about him at all and wants revenge against them.

** Wanda: A {{deadpan snarker}} who is the [[OnlySaneMan only sane fairy]], or a [[ComedicSociopathy psychopath]] who punishes Cosmo and Timmy [[DisproportionateRetribution for making one slight mistake]]. "Bad Heir Day" gives an example for the latter.

** Towards the end of "Five Days of F.L.A.R.G.", Mark Chang states his heart is no longeer a Defcon 5 threat to Earth. [[DefconFive Defcon 5]] is not the height of American nuclear readiness; this mistake has been made more than a few times.
* DarknessInducedAudienceApathy: The darker and mean-spirited jokes in the later seasons can be off-putting to say the least for some viewers. It doesn't help when all the bad things happening to Timmy is when Timmy himself being an selfish, lazy, apathetic jerk. This even happens to Cosmo and Wanda often, especially when the former keeps making constant marriage jokes, to the point where some fans wonder if they'll get a divorce. While Vicky's atrocities are meant to be PlayedForLaughs, some thought her later actions are going too far, as she went from petty bully to the reincarnation of all of history's worst villains.

* DesignatedVillain: ''Timmy'' is this in "The Masked Magician". Bickles came ''dangerously'' close to destroying Dimmsdale [[DisproportionateRetribution simply because Timmy (unknowingly!) showed up his own magic show]], and yet its ''Timmy'' that's presented as being in the wrong and the one who has to apologize in the end!

** Season 10 currently has a mixed reception among fans. Some think it's a return to form, albeit nowhere near as good as the original seasons, others consider it the final nail in the show's coffin, [[WereStillRelevantDammit especially with the usage of memes]].

** It was implied that Vicky had some kind of a FreudianExcuse in the episode "Snow Bound" on why she was like that. Now it would've been a great idea since there was an episode about Mr. Crocker, it would've been a great idea to dwell on her past if she really did have some DarkAndTroubledPast or simply born bad.

Added DiffLines:

** Ever since the episode "The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker!" It would've been great to have a sequel episode towards Vicky The Babysitter.

** There's also an ongoing theory that Butch Hartman, or someone else on the writing staff, ''really'' hates rich people, seeing as they're almost never depicted positively.

** Season 10 hasn't made things better with the introduction of [[MarySue Chloe]] [[ParodySue Carmichael]] ([[RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap though she did become less "perfect" in later episodes]]). There also seems to be an awful lot of jokes that sound way too [[WereStillRelevantDammit up to date]], like the duck lips, selfie jokes, and the usage of 2010s slang terms. The plots for most episodes this season aren't anything original, especially since it had the third episode that Timmy celebrates his birthday. What doesn't help that most of the writing team this season never worked on a cartoon before FOP. And, of course, [[TheyChangedItNowItSucks there's the new opening sequence]].

** The recent switch from hand drawn animation to flash animation, which many believe to be yet another sign that the show has run it's course. Not helped by the fact that unlike other shows that switched from hand-drawn to flash, the switch was done in the middle of a season that consisted of hand drawn episodes.

* TakeThatScrappy: A bit of an odd example as it's not directed towards a character from the show itself, but "WesternAnimation/Abracatastrophe" has Timmy throwing a character, obviously based on Jar-Jar Binks, off a bridge.
