*** Mako gets a bit of ire due to the fact that he's a largely incompetent second-in-command to Overlord who, unlike the other characters in his category, doesn't seem intended to be funny or sympathetic, to the point that people think that Basher, Overlord's DumbMuscle, should be the second-in-command instead.

* EightDeadlyWords: The Annotators display this reaction many, many, many times in the shows they watch, not caring for most of the protagonists, sometimes extending to not caring about what they do. The easiest way to tell when this is in play is when the protagonists are in mortal danger. If someone is holding someone else's hand to keep them from falling off a cliff, expect a few annotations along the lines of "DROP HIM."
** Many times the Annotators care more about characters they aren't supposed to like -- see EnsembleDarkHorse next for a lot of those examples.

** Dexter from Flipper and Lopaka proved himself to be the most likable character out of all Yoram Gross cartoon tryouts annotators did due to him being a rare combination of Bluster-esque AwesomeEgo and actual villain, speaking with hammy Creator/JackNicholson impersonation.

** Peak from Dinosaur Adventure due to his dopey personality, annoying rhymes and snitching on the other characters. Many characters were praised for poking fun at him, Kree in particular.

Added DiffLines:

** Princess Oriana and the Duke of Zill's roles in Felix the Cat: The Movie were reversed. Due to Oriana's terrible leadership skills (like disbanding her kingdom's army) and the Duke simply making the citizens of Progress City happy. Some were questioning whether or not Oriana was simply an EvilOverlord, and that the Duke was retaking the kingdom back from her rule.

** Most of the annotators agreed that "Who's the Boss" from Felix The Cat: The Movie was the best part of the film.

*** The hillbilly Felix meets in the swamps, for constantly making backhanded remarks to Felix and .

** Betty is considered a far better LoveInterest than Veronica, if only because she isn't constantly whining and actually helps Archie out. Annotations frequently wonder how Archie could possibly pick Veronica over her.

*** The hillbilly Felix meets in the swamps, for constantly making backhanded remarks to Felix and .
*** Wack and his strange dragon-headed pen, for being memorably bizarre while also getting in some of the movie's few legitimately decent jokes.

** The surf music got on a lot of people's nerves. By the time of Captain N however most people warmed up to it.

** Felix the Cat has a horribly AnnoyingLaugh. Thankfully he doesn't laugh out loud that often.

** The Annotators had a lot of fun with the chicken noises coming from the robots in Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Annotated Realm.

** Ben Drowned gets a similar reaction to Exe, with annotations noting that the original game it was based on was already pretty scary on its own (albeit in a more subtle and surreal way), making the editing and jump scares feel redundant.

** The constant implied subtext between Harry, Morrigan, and Felicia in Darkstalkers, which the Annotators deliberately cranked UpToEleven.

** A running gag is putting an asterisk where an animated animal's anus would realistically be. Notably, at one point a larger annotation is put in expressly to prevent this from being done to Felix the Cat.

* TheyJustDidntCare: Often parodied, but also by and far the Annotators' biggest complaint about particular shows. Sonic Underground got the most accusations of this, being regularly criticized for its inconsistent tone, glaring Plot Holes and Series Continuity Errors, and increasingly lazy animation.
* TrueArtIsAngsty: While they enjoy darker, more continuity-based stories, they ruthlessly mocked Hatred and it's trailer for actually believing in this trope, with one annotation flat out calling the game more childish than actual children's material.
