Added DiffLines:

** Cranky, Diddy and Klump (in Candy's body) making head puns to Robo-DK in "The Big Switch-a-roo" ended up replacing "HOOPS" has the group's go to joke whenever terrible puns pop up in media.
** One particular bit from ProStars has (Live-Action) Michael Jordan saying "ProStars are on the way." Episode 7 made fun of this by having the characters and Annotators bring this up constantly.
** From Spectreman, Karras' jacket getting dirtied and him getting revenge for it in episode 3.
*** King Satan's roar also became such.

** Pretty much all of the good guys except Raiden and Nightwolf in Mortal Kombat, for either being total assholes (Jax, Sonya, Stryker) or having little to no personality (Liu Kang, Kitana, Sub-Zero). Stryker got the worst of it by far.

** The Wacky Protester/Rotten Guy from the Bibleman episode A Fight for Faith for being a rather obnoxious villain with a subplot revolving around his mid-life crisis. It doesn't help that he planned to kidnap children, trap them in a surreal world and brainwash them into becoming Atheists, which the Annotators considered in bad taste. His second appearance in A Light in The Darkness didn't help; with his behavior becoming even more obnoxious than the previous installment. That he broke into a musical number during the episode only made things worse.

*** Many of the supporting characters, including Polar Penguin for his annoying voice and the Gasshole farting frog. Their limited screen time was seen as a blessing to the Annotators.

*** Many of the supporting characters, including Polar Penguin for his annoying voice and Lord Flushington the Gasshole farting frog. Their limited screen time was seen as a blessing to the Annotators.

*** Despite having the same voice as M. Bison, this version of Pyron and his bratty, self-entitled behavior didn't go over so well with the annotators. Though compared to the others, he wasn't treated as bad.

*** Mega himself occasionally fell into this as well when making a sexist remark towards Roll or just for acting like an Jerkass asshole.
*** Bright Man was often considered the worst of the reoccurring Robot Masters due to his dopey voice, uselessness, and for somehow making puns that were worse than the others'.

*** Cranky fell into this towards the end of season two between his criticizing DK over locking up the Crystal Coconut in "It's a Wonderful Life" and mocking him with head puns in "The Big Switch-a-roo".

** The Music/InsaneClownPosse and their obnoxious behavior, terrible rapping and constant mugging to the camera drew annoyance with the annotators very quickly. Their fans were also seen as acceptable punching bags during the "Juggalo Island" video.

** Creator/DougWalker (both in and out of character) for being an unfunny, overrated hack with something to answer for with his large fandom. Both The Review Must Go On and Melvin, Brother of the JokerMelvin himself being a huge Scrappy due to his voice and annoying behavior. The fact that it goes on for 8 minutes didn't help matters. helped seal his fate with the annotators.

*** The titular character, due to his super-serious, sanctimonious personality and the annoying love-triangle that was carried over from the comics. His behavior in the second episode didn't win him any favors.

** The titular clown in the Are You Afraid of the Dark?' episode "The Tale of the Ghastly Grinner" became one between his getup, annoying personality and for not being all that intimidating.

*** The special itself became one as well due to the aforementioned characters; its terrible excuse for animation, and contrived plot.

*** Momoka for generally being a selfish dick who decides the best things to do with Ukyou are force his head into her tits and later, force tomatoes down his throat as punishment for not eating his own.
*** Touka for being Main/GrandmaWhatMassiveHotnessYouHave taken too far; for making Ykyou have sex with her, TWICE; and serving as the instigator for the game's later events. Her outfit in part three of the riff didn't alleviate matters.
*** Ukyou meanwhile got this for performing the game's incestuous acts, especially towards the end when spoiler: he decided to have sex with his daughterswhich was mercifully censored visually, but the audio and text make it pretty obvious even without the images.

*** Willy Dewitt was loathed for coming off as a self-insert and indirectly bringing real-world scenes into the mix. This lessened later on; see RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap above.

*** KOMPLEX is generally regarded as one of the worst Big Bads so far, lacking both funniness or coolness and being defeated laughably easily. He also didn't get as much screen-time and characterization as the other villains on the show, making him come off as boring and cliched in comparison.

*** Meta example: Bugzzy's re-imagining into Fred the Spanyard ended up as such. As the latter character was relatively obscure, this annoyed some of the annotators as they had no idea who he was. It didn't help that the episode he appeared in was only chosen to make those jokes.

Added DiffLines:

* SpecialEffectsFailure: While a common gripe with the annotators in regards to the media they review (especially with Live-Action material). Some of their videos have unintentionally slipped up on occasion.
** Episode 7 of Donkey Kong Country has about a minute of black after the episode ended. Naturally lampshaded.
** The abrupt editing of certain commercials into the shows they mock can come off as such. Like suddenly switching between Series/UltramanEightywith a promotional feature of its monsters used here as a commercial to Spectreman in one instance.
** The annotations themselves can either overlap one another, or get cut off mid-sentence. These mistakes tend to be fixed rather quickly, however.

*** Tiff. While she was never a good character, between being an obvious self-insert, her constant exposition dumps and simply never shutting up. She ended up showcasing her full scrappiness potential during "Un-Reality TV". Where she comes off as even more of a pretentious nag and dealt out the (Hypocrite rather hypocritical) moral of the episode.

Where she comes Early in the run, Tiff came off as even more of a pretentious nag and SoapboxSadie, as well as stealing the spotlight from the lead. Then "Un-Reality TV" escalated these traits, to everyone's ire. It didn't help that she dealt out the (Hypocrite rather hypocritical) moral of the episode.
