*** [[TheScrappy This eventually reversed]] after ''Captain N'' and was mocked more as time went on. ''Legend of the Hawaiian Slammers'' poked fun at his incompetence with a string of annotations dune up like a school report.
---> "English Language: Jeffrey regularly confuses nouns and adjectives, and overuses verbs of which he doesn't entirely know the meaning."

*** GoseiGreen was a forum user who frequently suggested preschool shows despite repeated rejections and believed that the Annotators owed her something. It got to the point where the April Fools 2015 special was dedicated to her.

** The Wacky Protester/Rotten Guy from ''Bibleman'' for being a rather obnoxious villain with a subplot revolving around his mid-life crisis. It doesn't help that he planned to [[UnfortunateImplications kidnap children, trap them in a surreal world and brainwash them into becoming Atheists]], which the Annotators considered in bad taste.

** The Wacky Protester/Rotten Guy from the ''Bibleman'' episode ''A Fight for Faith'' for being a rather obnoxious villain with a subplot revolving around his mid-life crisis. It doesn't help that he planned to [[UnfortunateImplications kidnap children, trap them in a surreal world and brainwash them into becoming Atheists]], which the Annotators considered in bad taste. His second appearance in ''A Light in The Darkness'' didn't help; with his behavior becoming even more obnoxious than the previous installment. That he broke into a musical number during the episode only made things worse.

*** Rush for being an obnoxious PluckyComicRelief character in a show that has absolutely no need for one. It didn't help that his "antics" were not only grievously {{Padding}} and unfunny, but also blatantly ripped off from ''Scooby Doo''.

** While the whole cast was disliked by the annotators, Momoka, Touka and Ukyou from ''Chichi Miko'' received the harshest of their vitriol.

to:

*** The special itself became one as well due to the aforementioned characters; its [[SpecialEffectsFailure terrible excuse for animation]], and contrived plot.
** While the whole cast was disliked by the annotators, Momoka, Touka and Ukyou from ''Chichi Miko'' (itself ''heavily'' reviled by the annotators) received the harshest of their vitriol.

*** Willy Dewitt was loathed for coming off as a self-insert and indirectly bringing real-world scenes into the mix.

to:

*** Willy Dewitt was loathed for coming off as a self-insert and indirectly bringing real-world scenes into the mix. This lessened later on as some of the annotators warmed up to him by the end.

Added DiffLines:

*** Toadborg became a minor one by the end of the show's run, as he slowly became just as incompetent as the Air Marshal.
*** KOMPLEX also became a minor one due to his lack of screen time and for being one of the worst (as in [[OneHitKill easily defeated]]) BigBads in any of the shows thus far.

*** Karas for being a very humorous CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass and having great chemistry with Dr. Gori. He got even more praise after episode 12, in which he [[spoiler: figures out Spectreman's secret identity by himself in a surprisingly clever way.]]

Added DiffLines:

* BadassDecay: Poor Toadborg suffers an absurd amount of humiliations throughout ''Bucky O'Hare'', going from beating Bucky in an epic duel to spending most of the finale caught in the bay doors of his ship.

Added DiffLines:

*** Commander Dogstar and the crew of the Indefatigble. Their fun designs and quirky personalities caused many to consider them better protagonists than Bucky and his team.

Added DiffLines:

* JerkassWoobie: The Annotations depict [[TheDragon Toadborg]] as an angry jerk who suffers nigh-constantly at the hands of his enemies and incompetent underlings.

EvilIsCool. This waned over the second season as he grew more incompetent.

*** Willy Dewitt due to being out of place and his name being a [[PunnyName painfully obvious play on the phrase "Will he do it?"]]. He's also hated for sucking time away from the genuinely interesting plot to focus on his normal life, which is completely irrelevant to what's going on in the Aniverse.
*** Bucky himself due to his voice actor's performance and dull personality compared to the other crew members. That said he was hated ''a lot'' less than Willy.

** Also in ''Spectreman, a lot of annotations joked about Spectreman being terrible at keeping his identity a secret, with gags about him revealing it by accident. [[spoiler: In episode twelve, he actually ''does'' blow his secret identity by getting caught in nerve gas but not pretending to be affected, thus causing Karas to put two and two together.]]

** In episode four of ''Spectreman'' the father who gets turned into a monster is jokingly depicted as a abusive drunk who hates his family. In the next episode, said father ''attempts suicide'' in order to save his family, Spectreman, and most of the city. One of the Annotators even admits to feeling kind of bad for jabbing the character so hard before.
