* Unlike King Hippo and the Eggplant Wizard, the relationship between King Dedede and Escargoon in [KirbyRightBackAtYa] can come across as that between abusive (Dedede) and abused (Escargoon) lovers. Episode 35 is especially bad in that the entire episode is pretty much a parody of such a dynamic.

* TookALevelInDumbass: This happened to King Dedede according to annotators, arguably after annotated Episode 30Actually Episode 75. His accent underwent a Flanderization to the point of his dialogue being almost incomprehensible, and his behaviour became far more manchildish and egoistical, rather than just being straight up sympathetically evil like the show usually potrayed him beforehand.

** Played with in the He-Man And She-Ra Christmas Special. Similarly to Gameboy, Orko was built up to be incredibly annoying, but while he was mocked quite a bit, a number of the Annotators noted that he wasn't nearly as bad as they expected him to be.

*** Played straight with Alicia and Miguel, due to their TagalongKid nature and being almost completely useless throughout the special.

*** ASCII Penises are considered a fossil from a more embarrassing era and outside of few annotators they're rarely used by anyone in [=TheAnnotationStation=] era. The CAD section of Five Years Special was even dedicated to mocking them.

*** Reggie (aka Mantle The Magnificient) became the annotators' favorite main cast member by the second episode for his Bluster-like JerkassHasAPoint tendencies, at least until the last ten or so episodes of the show. See TookALevelInDumbass below.

*** Doron is actually mentally unstable Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin, and he's in prison due to beating up his wife Debra so many times.
*** Rick The Hamster is constantly trying to rob the Cappy Town mail, and gets along with Kirby as long as he doesn't steal his apples. Also he might be annotator Hamsteere.

* TookALevelInJerkass: To annotators, this officially happened to Reggie Mantle towards the end of Archie's Weird Mysteries, with him being a whiny self-centered loser who never gets any screentime instead of being a show-stealing lovable jerk who more often than not is right about our protagonists. It went so bad people started wishing for Reggie Tolerance Meter.

** Optimus Prime in the Transformers: Headmasters riff is a straight-out pussy who gets scared at the sight of Electro-Leeches.

** Chris in Joshua and the Promised Land is a ManipulativeBastard and is not on God's good graces. It's also implied that he may be part of a ghostly mafia of some sort.
*** God is an uncaring, and childish, overlord clearly fed up with Moses.

** One of the first annotations in Turtles Christmas has the annotators "begging" to notice them. Two days later, and guess who shows up to the comment section. This caught the annotators by surprise.

*** Creator/JimCummings, Garry Chalk, Kath Soucie and Creator/FrankWelker aren't really considered to be scrappy voice actors, but their inclusion on material's voice acting cast is usually faced with general apathy due to them being so overused in their era and rarely being the show's saving grace like most of characters voiced by Creator/RichardNewman or Creator/ScottMcNeil.
