** [[WebVideo/GuruLarryAndWez Guru Larry]] has gotten this in light of the controversies surrounding Channel Awesome in March-April of 2018, mainly because he pretty much ''admitted'' that he's only sticking around out of spite for the site forgetting his videos for so many years, and to pretty much say he was the last remaining contributor before it all burned down.

** People complain about the adverts and even that the DVD features are uploaded on [=YouTube=], but when Doug does daily vlogs because he's hurting for money; he's "a cash-grabbing whore".

** The [=BarFiesta=] intro, made ''years'' before the first mass exodus of content producers from the site in January 2015, 2015 due to heavy grievances with site [=CEO=] Mike Michaud, had Michaud himself as a shadowy dark figure kidnapping Rob and dismissing Doug as a performer monkey.

* NeverLiveItDown: After April 2018, it's unlikely that the revelations of the behind-the-scenes mistreatment of the various producers at the company by Mike Michaud will ever be forgotten. This won't be helped by the fact that ''everyone'' sans Doug Walker, Brad Jones and his co-stars have jumped ship from Channel Awesome (with the only other person remaining, Guru Larry, doing it out of pure spite over being forgotten about for the past decade).

*** Also, the screencaps of the conversations did ''very'' little to quell any accusations that were lobbed against the site management. One in particular, brought up by Lindsay Ellis, in the document stated that she hated the way that a scene in ''To Boldly Flee'' was written (the one involving the BlackComedyRape between her and Linkara). Notably, Linkara stated that ''he'' hated the way the scene was written as well, but that wasn't touched upon int he response at all. The screencap of the conversation they provided "disproving" her not only provides zero context of the entire conversation, since it's taken out of context in an attempt to have people take them at their word, but was also clearly taken from a conversation that took place after the movie wrapped filming and was in post-production and they were having her record ADR for the scene after she most likely protested about the scene.

** The Google Doc also brought up how Michaud displayed a more harsh, to the point of feeling like sexist, attitude towards the female content producers of the site's past. This was already bad enough, but in the response, in no way did the people who wrote it (which is speculated to be majorly only written by Michaud) disprove this. In fact, they unintentionally confirmed it, with the only direct responses to the ex-contributors (with others just being grouped under "some creators" and the like) being 3 women, including Lindsay Ellis, Allison Pregler, and Holly Brown in a rather cold and spiteful manner, like Michaud took out some personal vendetta on them specifically out of the over a dozen producers who contributed to the Doc. This soured a ''lot'' of people's opinions of him.

*** Not only did contributors leave but some of CA's sponsors (such as the Black Tux) abandoned the site as well, thanks to being told to boycott the site. Even the forum moderators resigned, which resulted in unsupervised forum members uploading pornographic images. This prompted the site's management to shut down the forums, blogs, and CA store indefinitely.

** The tribute videos to JewWario and anything related to him become harder to watch after allegations came out four years later that he had groomed and sexually assaulted young girls. Plus in "Rejected Spooning with Spoony Ideas", Holly fires Justin for sexual harassment, less than a year before that happened for real.

** In March 2018, over a dozen current and former contributors created a [[https://twitter.com/Obscurus_Lupa/status/974369216894832640 massive Twitter thread]] detailing all the ways they’d been poorly treated by management, particularly Mike Michaud, but also Doug and Rob Walker. It’s a long read but goes over intimidation tactics, poor management, unsafe filming conditions, misused funds, unfair firings, and more. Notably, [[WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall Linkara]] and [[WebVideo/ThatDudeInTheSuede Suede]] (among others) quit Channel Awesome in protest not long after. In April, they released a [[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WZFkR__B3Mk9EYQglvislMUx9HWvWhOaBP820UBa4dA/preview# Google Doc]], which serves as a collection of their mistreatment. You can read it [[https://twitter.com/obscurus_lupa/status/980710602682392576?s=21 here]]. After the release of the Google Doc, Channel Awesome put out a statement that included the phrase [[BackhandedApology "we sincerely regret you feel that way"]], which did not go over well with the fanbase ([[{{Understatement}} to put it mildly]]). As a result, several thousand people unsubscribed from Channel Awesome's Website/YouTube page.
** A week after the Google Doc was posted, Channel Awesome posted their [[https://channelawesome.com/our-response/ response on the site]], but instead of acknowledging or even apologizing to these accusations, they instead make counterpoints on them, fail to even say one sorry in any of it and essentially label the accusers as "liars". This resulted in more of a backlash from the fans, the subscriber count from the Website/YouTube page [[https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/achannelthatsawesome dropping even more]], even going so far as to drop ''[[https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/achannelthatsawesome/realtime by the second]]'', and long-time contributors [[WebVideo/TheAngryJoeShow Angry Joe]], [[Creator/MasakoX MasakoX]] and [[WebVideo/BennettTheSage Bennett the Sage]] leaving. On the 22nd, there was a Salon [[https://www.salon.com/2018/04/22/the-triumph-and-tragedy-of-channel-awesome/ article]] where Doug at least talked about bad communication and hoped improvements had been made on set, along with confirmation from Malcolm and Tamara that things had got better, but the general consensus was that there were many other things that needed talking about and Rob/Michaud needed to acknowledge shit too.
