* UnitentionallyUnsympathetic: 'In the Moisture Farmer's Tale' the hero is determined to make peace with the Sand People after they storm a wedding of a friend of his, killing the friend and kidnapping the bride. He successfully negotiates her release but is then horrified that stormtroopers attack the Sand People, condemning the Empire as the real enemy. The problem is the Sand People really ''did'' raid the wedding, kill people and only release their kidnap victim after being bribed meaning the Empire was doing its job of protecting the settlers - heavy handed, ruthless and counterproductive perhaps but not simply shooting the Sand People for fun or to stir up trouble.

Just because the Empire is bad the Sand People don't cease to be extremely dangerous and unreliable neighbours.
