Why was this spoiler tagged? It's completely pointless.

* SpiritualLicensee: ''Steambot Chronicles'' was often described as what a game developed by Creator/StudioGhibli might look like [[spoiler:well, before the [[VideoGame/NiNoKuni actual]] game that was (co) developed by Studio Ghibli was made]].

Doesn't explain how the hero stoping the villains as opposed to becoming one is worse.

* EsotericHappyEnding: The good ending has the villain and his right hand killed and his plot to [[StrawNihilist destroy society]] thwarted by the protagonist's actions. The bad ending has the protagonist ''take over'' the villain's plot and successfully execute it himself (or simply serve as a minion and allow the villain to succeed). The former is ''by far'' the more depressing of the two.

Woobie Destroyer Of Worlds is not YMMV. Tear Jerker is ZCE and conflicts with Esoteric Happy Ending stating it's unintentional (Moments must be).

* TearJerker: Of all things, the good ending!

** WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: [[spoiler:Dandelion. The man lost the only family he had left, began to loathe society because of the role it played in his brother's death, and went on to create a terrorist group in order to destroy it. Considering he and his brother were bullied for being poor, it's understandable as to why he cracked]].

Now Flame Bait and Darth.

* WhatAnIdiot: Early in the game through choices, you can have Vanilla claim that he's Mallow, the other person that was on the ship with him. A lot of people knew Mallow before he went off on his own and they knew what he looked like, yet if Vanilla claims that the pendant he has is his and that he's Mallow, everyone will just believe him despite that they know what the real Mallow looks like.

** The grab attack itself can usually do the job against any trotmobile. Simply get close, grab the enemy, and then throw them. The throw both causes damage and leaves the enemy stunned on the ground for several seconds making them sitting ducks to attacks. Few will even survive long enough to get back up.

Enemies can get out of the player's grip, but all the player has to do is quickly turn around and grab them again. ** MANY of the civilian NPCs. Pablo the artist, Saffron the trotmobile fighter, even some random NPC you can find lighting the streetlamps in Nefroburg in the evening! If you follow the NPC through his route, he'll eventually finish and walk to some random house and stare at the wall. If you talk to him he'll tell you that he doesn't feel like going home because his wife left him. Fun!
