Added DiffLines:

* BrokenAesop: The second Jean Bison level has the gang destroy oil wells and making them explode in order to cheat which is in stark contrast to the environmental message. This is especially egregious, because unlike Jean Bison, who is still following the mindset of the 1800's, the gang is doing it for an incredibly minor reason.

* GoddamnBats: Cobras in the Indian levels. While one hit will beat them, they can easily give you away, which can often be fatal, especially around flashlight guards, and they can easily make stealth missions nightmares, due to the fact they cause a massive JumpScare with no warning.

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The mission, Lightning Action in the chapter Jailbreak. The mission where you disable all the lightning rods to destroy The Contessa giant attack robot disguises as a water tower. The water tower being a giant attack robot comes out of nowhere and after it's destroyed it is never mentioned again.

Evil Is Sexy has been dewicked.

* EvilIsSexy:
** The Contessa has a surprising amount of sex appeal.
** [[spoiler:Same applies to Neyla, who is rather beautiful despite her tendency to betray people]].

** Charged TNT Run. Not only you have to go to three different areas to collect certain objects, you are unable to fight the guards. And often, if you have to drop in front of one, there's a chance that he will never move, meaning if you move, game over.

Also at this point in the episode will be flying around the overworld. If manages to fly up behind you while you're moving, consider yourself screwed.

%% * ValuesDissonance: In Episode 3, one job has the Gang steal a genuine Indian ruby from the temple and sell it to the black market to get an explosive for the heist of that level. In the 2010s, such a blatant selling of a cultural treasure of any nation to the black market would be impossible to depict in a positive light.

Values Dissonance requires a 20 year waiting period. Sly 2 came out in 2004.

Now a Trivia trope that needs to be backed up by Word of God or Word of Saint Paul.

* AuthorsSavingThrow:
** This game does away with the one hit kills and lucky charms in favor of a more traditional health bar.
** The first game caught some flack from players who felt that for a stealth platforming game, the stealth part was underutilized. This game puts more emphasis on sneaking up on enemies and trying to pickpocket them and go undetected.
** There are fewer vaults that are limited to one each episode instead of several per episode.

I'll certainly concede that some of the Gang's overconfident decisions helped Arpeggio's plan (and Neyla's by extension), but they still have every reason to oppose the Klaww Gang.

I'll certainly concede that some of the Gang's overconfident decisions helped in that regard, but they still have every reason to oppose the Klaww Gang. In the final episode, Arpeggio lays out his plan involving the Clockwerk parts and how every Klaww Gang member factored into it. He still intended to assemble Clockwerk with or without the Cooper Gang's intervention; they just happened to make it easier for him. Meanwhile, nobody understands Neyla's true intentions until that same last episode. The writing surrounding her is flawed, but from the audience and characters' perspectives, she seems firmly allied with Interpol until that point in the story, albeit being a particularly unscrupulous agent of theirs.

* IdiotPlot: The game could have easily been avoided had the Cooper Gang just stayed away from the Klaww Gang since Neyla's plan hinged solely on the Cooper gang recruiting the Clockwerk parts. The Klaww Gang still would have been committing crimes, but Clockwerk would have never been reassembled and .
