** The short ''Angry Birds: The Movie'' came out in 2011, imagining what a live action version of the game would be. 5 years later, there really was ''WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie'', albeit as an animated feature.

** While playing "making headlines" on On the Spot, the contestants discuss what not to do at the 9/11 memorial. Joking about playing ''Videogame/PokemonGo''? Bad. Joking about the 9/11 memorial having a lot of Ghastly? Hilarious.

* HarsherInHindsight: ''Relationship Goals'', a short-lived series that showcased Geoff and Griffon's love for one-another while they interviewed other couples, is harder to watch now that the two have divorced (amicably, mind, and its largely because their work-lives are too incompatible rather than a loss of love, but still).

* CreatorsPet: Not in terms of people, but projects; some of the projects Rooster Teeth works on get a lot of hype and/or attention from the company itself, but due to [[RuleOfCautiousEditingJudgement various reasons that differ depending on who you ask]], they aren't really as popular or well-received as you'd think from their advertising.
** The original example is Creator/{{Funhaus}}, which gets an absurd amount of attention and hype with Funhaus people appearing on basically every Rooster Teeth production several times, even in things they don't really have a part in (for example, they had a decently-sized appearance in the Let's Play Live documentary, which was an Achievement Hunter event, and they've had numerous appearances in ''On the Spot'' despite Jon normally trying to avoid too many repeat guests). It especially doesn't help that people in videos will ''constantly'' talk about how funny Funhaus is or how cool the Funhaus guys are whenever the topic is even barely hinted at. Lots of fans have gotten sick of Funhaus, because whether or not they watch their videos, the references to them in other Rooster Teeth videos have gotten repetitive. What further drives matters is how their videos often pop up on the Achievement Hunter feed on the Rooster Teeth website (particularly when Funhaus does Lets Plays) and they frequently contribute episodes of ''The Know'', meaning even if you avoid their feed, you're going to have Funhaus content popping up.
** A more recent example is ''Videogame/AvengersAcademy'', one of their ''sponsors'' which gets brought up quite a bit because Gus is the voice actor for ''ComicBook/{{Hawkeye}}'' in the game. As the game is quite divisive, even among Marvel fans, Rooster Teeth shilling the game has resulted in a noted backlash among several fans. Strangely enough, as the shilling is often coupled with them making fun of Hawkeye's character (to the point he's referred to as 'the worst superhero ever' and reacted to with surprise when the audience boos at that), this also has the opposite effect of annoying Marvel fans who feel they're unfairly bashing the character; essentially, they're alienating non-Marvel fans by praising the game while also alienating Marvel fans by taking shots at Hawkeye's character.

* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: Australians enjoy RT's work a lot, and the company love them back for it, with employees making frequent appearances at Australian conventions such as PAX Australia. ''Film/LazerTeam'''s international premiere will even be held in the country, as Australia was the second-highest country (behind the United States and just slightly ahead of Canada) to donate to the Website/{{Indiegogo}} campaign. The ultimate result was the June 2015 announcement of RTX Australia.
* GrowingTheBeard: The reaction towards Season 2 of ''The Gauntlet'' is considerably more positive than the reaction towards Season 1. It probably helps that there's a mix of people besides community members.

** PlayedForLaughs in [[http://roosterteeth.com/archive/?id=8803 this RT Recap]]. Creator/JessicaNigri appears wearing various cosplays... except in the end when she's naked and covered with a black censor bar, leaving her to question what she's cosplaying right now, causing the numerous RT men (aside from Brandon who is just staring) filming and taking pictures of the shooting to stutter and run away in fear. [[LesYay Kara]] is also among their number.

*** Although this was subverted by Rooster Teeth listening to feedback and changing it to a system similar to the original one, which quelled the rage immediately.

* JumpingTheShark: Some Rooster Teeth fans are already calling the studio a "sell out" after their acquisition. However, there are some ex-fans on the Internet who say that the company had already jumped the shark well before November 2014.
** The sentiment has increased after the company acquired about a half-dozen other media studios, heavily clogging up their video feed and increasing their number of crossovers exponentially, confusing or angering many fans who weren't fans of the other studios beforehand (the exception to this has been Funhaus, who were loved by the community, but even they've been getting backlash due the sheer volume of crossovers.)
