** [[BigBad Parvo]] is diametrically opposed to a BigGood called TheMaster. Just one year after the series ran, Parvo's [[Creator/JimCummings voice actor]] would go on to voice [[VideoGame/{{Fallout}} another character called "The Master"]].

* HilariousInHindsight: The British royal family being terrorized by a [[OurWerewolvesAreDifferent werewolf]]? [[Recap/DoctorWhoS28E2ToothandClaw Where's the Doctor when you need him?]]

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: "A Hair of the Dog That Bit You" opens with Princess Diana and Prince Charles finalizing details of their divorce just before werewolves attack them. Following Diana's death, they had to cut all references to this. The DVD release (which was released years after Princess Diana's death made the news) has this uncut and uncensored.

* HarsherInHindsight: Professor Shepherd initially tells Hunter to leave Muzzle for dead when escaping the pound, though Hunter thankfully doesn't listen to him. Shepherd almost sentenced ''his own dog to death'' without even realizing it.

* SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound: The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLUBbvSfYVI unique version]] of the WB Family Ent. logo that plays before the show's intro. Instead of the last few notes of the ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'' theme, it plays the same notes as a rock guitar riff, which mirrors the style used in the opening proper. Not only is it an awesome redux, but after hearing it, you know the show is seconds away.

** Muzzle in "Reigning Cats and Dogs". Stolen from his owner, subjected to an experimental version of the transdogmafier, driven insane -- and then having to spend most of his time strapped down and muzzled so that he doesn't bite The Master[[spoiler: who happens to be his original owner, Professor Shepherd. Poor Scout]].

* TheWoobie: Sport from the episode "The Dog Who Knew Too Much". He was dognapped from his master and forced into being a mole for Parvo. Poor guy could really use a big hug.

* HoYay: There are some moments of this kind between Blitz and Exile, one notable instant being in "Where Rovers Dare", where Blitz attempts to kiss Colleen's hand and confess his love for her only to find out that he mistakenly did those things to Exile.
** When the only witness of a Crime turns out to be a dog they allow him to transform into a Road Rover in order to pose as the primary witness. After becoming a Road Rover, Exile immediately gives him a kiss saying that he gives his friends Big Kisses and then turns to Blitz offering him a kiss after Blitz says no he settle for a BearHug.
