* HilariousInHindsight: One of the dogs in the movie is wearing what look exactly like Kamina's sunglasses.

** Quite a few of the songs in the MusicalEpisode "Garbage Night: The Musical" are catchy as hell.

* TastesLikeDiabetes: Bright Eyes and Whopper in the second season. Hell, the entire second season.

!!The movie contains examples of:
* ArtEvolution: Averted bigtime, often riddled with animation errors and dingy backgrounds that don't make for a particularly eye-pleasing movie.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Was there ANY point to the "All in Your Mind" musical number?
** In the previous song "King of Everything" there's a random moment when [=McNasty's=] henchmen show up crossdressing as showgirls doing kicks. It only lasts for a split second but even their boss didn't seem to know what the heck was going on when it happened.
* ClicheStorm: Every cartoon cliché is on display here.
* EarWorm: Every song. Mostly because they are SuspiciouslySimilarSong versions of much better 1950s hits.
* HilariousInHindsight: Big Paw looks like a Mega Absol, only missing the horn and furry wings.
* HoYay: Reflex's condition causes him to run around in trance and kiss anyone in sight regardless of gender (or even species), so male dogs also fall victim to his hugs and kisses.
* Narm:
** Large parts of it but a special mention should go to the moment after Big Paw's song, which is about how lonely he is and how much he wants a family. Bright Eyes says they'll be his friends and that he's not that ugly. Instantly, Big Paw cheers right up and all his problems are seemingly solved. Yeah, that fast. After he just sung a song drenched in angst. Talk about easy to please!
** The way the film tiptoes excruciatingly around explaining exactly why Collette's puppies will starve without her. Word of advice: if a major plot point hinges on something you're not willing to explain to children, your kids' movie will probably have problems down the line.
* SoBadItsGood: Some elements of it, mainly revolving around the villain's nonsensical plan.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSong: The songs essentially use the same tune as 1950s classics such as "Let's Go to the Hop" and "Duke of Earl".
* TheyJustDidntCare: The quicksand looks nothing like quicksand, and Collette appears with Cooler and the gang even though she was seen being captured by Lumpy and Bones a few minutes before then. One could argue the whole movie is this and nothing else.
