Trope cut per TRS.

* TheFaceOfTheBand: Out of the people that worked on this series, [=MasakoX=] was the more popular of the two, mostly due to later voicing Goku in ''WebVideo/DragonBallZAbridged.''

* AcceptableTargets: The series made numerous and rather venomous {{take that}}s toward YaoiFangirls and the original series's HoYay (to the point of [[GenderFlip turning a character female]] in order to avoid it). However, this eventually lead to many accusations of homophobia against the creators.

Oh and the moment of awesome is a "meta example", which is always just a way to get around not allowing real life examples.

All of these examples are misuse of some form. Values Dissonance examples for time periods must be at least 20 years old. Seinfeld Is Unfunny must explicitly refer to how works that influenced it make it less noteworthy for new viewers, while this one just talks about new viewers not liking it much on its own merits. The Scrappy example is Zero Context, and as a rule I think those should be deleted on sight. And lastly Never Live It Down example is actually about a real-life person, which is no longer allowed.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: The creators in-show arguments become bitter when you realize one of the reasons [=MasakoX=] quit.
* HarsherInHindsight: All of episode 28. This is where Sasuke (voiced by [=MasakoX=]) ends his friendship with Naruto and Sakura (both of whom are voiced by Vegeta) and leaves. Like the FunnyAneurysmMoment above, it's very bitter when taking the creators into account.

%%* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: For a meta-example, episode 32 finally coming out after seven years of delays.
* NeverLiveItDown: As of 2017, some people (or just Creator/LittleKuriboh) won't let [=Vegeta3986=] live down ''Naruto The Abridged Movie.''

* TheScrappy: Sakura in the series.
* SeinfeldIsUnfunny: How some see this series. A lot of the jokes have become dated or didn't age well.
* ValuesDissonance: A lot of the anti-Yaoi and gay jokes are pretty uncomfortable by today's standards.

** Naruto is eventually convinced that Idate is SonicTheHedgehog. About three months later, [[Creator/RogerCraigSmith guess whose voice actor is announced to be the new Sonic]]? Which is even funnier because earlier, he mistook him for Franchise/{{Batman}}. Well, that was before the announcement that Creator/RogerCraigSmith voiced a young Bruce Wayne in ''VideoGame/BatmanArkhamOrigins''.

** During the Chunin Exam, Naruto gets confused about what time period the series is supposed to be after the use of computers is displayed. In the sequel series, ''Manga/{{Boruto}},'' there is a noticeable increase in the use of modern technology compared to the original series.
