Added DiffLines:

* MoralEventHorizon:
** Tirek threatening to behead Spike, a baby, to punish Scorpan for his failure. If not then, the 'turn ponies into mindless monsters to pull his chariot' is probably the point where Tirek crossed this line.
** Lavan is told that his plans for the Princess Ponies' wands might destroy all of Ponyland by throwing things into utter chaos (which is exactly what happens). He doesn't give a darn and goes ahead with his plans anyway, putting everything in danger out of his own greed. If that's not the point where he crossed the line, it's most likely when he tried to kill the Princess Ponies and their group by having them thrown into lava, primarily for spite.

!!Glo Friends

* WhatAnIdiot:
** For all the trouble the Moligans go to ensnare the Glo Friends, it never once dawns on them just to use more mundane lamps, which can fueled with candles and oil.
** Glo Bug attacking the Red Ant Army by himself and promptly getting himself and his team captured and enslaved.

* EarWorm: Though many songs can go from terrible to decent depending on the episode, when you find a good one they tend to hit hard.

* PeripheryDemographic: It's not uncommon especially after Friendship is Magic caught on to hear of male fans of this show. For many boys in the 80s and 90s, this was their first fantasy adventure cartoon.

** To a lesser extent, Grogar and Surprise with the Friendship Is Magic crowd.

* FanonDiscontinuity: Many fans disregard the last few episodes of the series. Not because they were particularly bad as such, but rather dropping most of the main cast to market the baby ponies. The show ends without any finality regardless, but most choose to believe the series ends with the Golden Horseshoes. Being the last multi-part adventure story, the last episode to feature the core cast of characters' it's seen as a last hurrah for the show.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: The episode "Bright Lights" features a pop star who is an homage to Michael Jackson, and his manager steals fillies' shadows as AppliedPhlebotinum. Several years after the episode was produced, Michael Jackson himself began to face accusations of taking indecent liberties with children.

* BrokenAesop: Partially, in the episode "The Fugitive Flowers"; while there is enough weight on the stated "don't judge a book by its cover" aesop that it works, one can't deny the FridgeLogic that the Crabnasties really did not do themselves any favors in that episode. Looking ugly is one thing; deliberately ripping a swathe of destruction through Dream Valley and ignoring any attempts to communicate with you is quite another. If the Crabnasties had apologised for their destructive search and explained their reasons, the Ponies might not have been so quick to assume BeautyEqualsGoodness upon meeting the Flories.
** FridgeBrilliance: The episode also has an AccidentalAesop -- PoorCommunicationKills. As stated above, while the ponies were at fault for presuming "pretty flories = good and ugly crabnasties = bad", the crabnasties were also at fault for not trying to communicate with the ponies.

* LyricalDissonance: "We Are the Flutter Ponies". An upbeat, gentle song about the flutter ponies easily crushing the villain of the week.

* NightmareFuel and ParanoiaFuel: Yes, again. Some people have reported to be frightened senseless by TheReveal that the titular Fugitive Flowers were escaped convicts. If that is what it feels like for a flower garden to be overtaken by invasive weeds...
** The shadow-less ponies in "Bright Lights" advancing on Knight Shade. The angle they're shot at makes them look like zombies!

* TearJerker:
** Poesy crying over her dying garden in Fugitive Flowers. Seeing how much love and care she put in to it, to only have plants she thought were beautiful nearly killing all of her garden is heartbreaking.
** The penguin king breaking down into uncontrolled sobs after accidentally freezing his son. Evil villain he may be, but he still had enough of a heart to love Edgar.
*** And tears of joy this time when it's shown his tears were enough to melt the ice and save his son. His look of sheer joy and the sound of him laughing for the first time just cements it.
** The song "Oh, For a Rainy Day" from The Magic Coins.
* VillainDecay: Hydia and her daughters prove much less threat to the Ponies this time around.
