* {{Gamebreaker}}:
** Hiro's magic takes whatever difficulty the game might have had and snaps it in half like a twig. In particular, Fireball and Lightning Storm can devastate the vast majority of enemy formations in this game, dealing absurd amounts of damage in an area around the point of impact. It is very possible to spam Lightning Storm, scoop up all the red Power Attack orbs that enemies will drop, spam Power Attacks until you have mana again, and repeat the process.
** Suzume might seem like the weakest ninja of the group, and you'd be right for the most part. Her attacks hit as hard as Hiro, but lack the range of his sword and are far slower. In exchange, her Power Attack is incredibly strong, as it hypnotizes enemies in a range around her and makes Suzume's next attack instantly defeat them. This can be easily spammed throughout the game, and Suzume only needs a little range to get it set up properly.

* AdaptationDisplacement: There's a TV show about the Mini Ninjas, yet there's not many fans who really know about it (in fairness, it was made in France, and was aimed at young kids). In fact, it's not really a direct adaptation of the games at all; it's more a "kids learning morals via Ninja Training" kind of show. That said, the show doesn't entirely ignore the games, as all the Ninja's main abilities remain intact, and the Evil Warlord is as evil as ever.

Now a disambiguation. Can't tell if replacements applicable.

* EightPointEight: Mini Ninja's on the [=PS3=], Xbox 360 and PC scored a consistent 73 - 74 between the platforms according to Metacritic, while the DS version scored 61 on average. The Wii port got the best average score, scoring 79 overall on Metacritic. The console and PC ports were praised for their unique levels and varied playstyles of the Ninja's, but cited the game is fairly easy to complete, while the DS version was praised for the same things, but was saddled with bad controls due to the change in hardware, as well as repetitive gameplay.

* ThatOneLevel: The beginning of the "Snowy Canyon" level, in which you have to sled down a mountain to escape an avalanche. If you go too slowly, the avalanche will overtake you, and you'll have to start over. There's no indication of which way you're supposed to go except in a general "down the mountain" direction; so it's very easy to end up in a dead end, in which case the avalanche will overtake you, and you'll have to start over. If you hit a tree or a rock, you'll tumble head over heels until you're a snowball, and the avalanche will overtake you, and you'll have to start over. If you fall into a ravine, you'll be all right as long as you continue to sled along the ravine; but if you hit the wall of the ravine or just graze it too hard, you'll tumble head over heels until you're a snowball, and the avalanche will overtake you, and you'll have to start over. It's not an impossible level, but it involves a lot more having to start over than any other level in the game.

This is completely false, as the next comment underneath it admits. It's not that trope if its defeated.
