* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: One episode had a giant Japanese boy standing next to Megazord in a scene (it made sense in the source footage but was a random scene in Power Rangers), another episode during a fight by a pool had a guy in blue tribal clothes gesturing in the background that the Rangers paid no mind too (unmorphed Triceraranger in ''Zyuranger''), another episode has Pink Ranger hurrying off a Japanese girl to safety, said girl had no prior introduction and the dialog doesn't address it.

* OvershadowedByAwesome: Even though they've never actually been onscreen together, this is pretty much the case with Zack and Adam. Each ranger of the original six is considered to be the best of their respective color, except Zack. And guess who's the one ranger that beats him to the #1 spot, Adam. Due to the overwhelming popularity of Johnny Young Bosch and his subequent returns to the series, Adam is the only replacement ranger to be more popular than his predecessor.

Added DiffLines:

** The cameraman made the mistake of getting a few close-up shots of the putties in "Rangers Back in Time: Part 1" meaning we're able to see the netting in their eyes and even the mouth of the actor through the opening in the mouth of the puttie's rubber mask.

** Don't forget Goldar, although his was more of a freefall than a decay. After "Green No More" when Tommy beat him while unmorphed, he went from TheDragon who was more than a match for the entire team, to someone who could get knocked flat on his back by an unmorphed Billy.

* RootingForTheEmpire: Sure, they may have been cheesy and ridiculous-looking, (when they weren't hideous), but you just can't help but root for Bulk & Skull (at the very least antagonists during the first two seasons). The main villains got this as well, as they were at the very least more interesting than the flat [[TastesLikeDiabetes goody-good]] Rangers.

** Also, Rita's Moon palace retained the blue "Bandora Palace" neon sign above the front door.

* ReplacementScrappy: Rocky, Adam, Aisha all were immediately disliked for abruptly replacing most of the original team, and later Kat [[BrokenBase broke the fanbase clean in half]] for replacing fan-favorite Kimberly. Adam was quickly RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap to become one of the all-time favorites among fans, with Kat eventually growing on the fanbase through ''Zeo'' and ''Turbo''. Aisha's short tenure and Rocky's status as the Red Ranger [[ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything who doesn't actually lead the team]] left them in a strange middle ground.

** Lord Zedd's Zord, Serpentera, was restricted by a time limit due to the power supply it had...which is the exact same thing that would happen in ''Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge'' when the villains had control of the Gold Ranger's mecha!.

** "Switching Places" is pretty disappointing as a FreakyFridayFlip story, not least because Billy and Kimberly switching bodies has no impact at all on the fight scenes later. At the very least, they could have messed with the TransformationSequence to have one or both of them say the wrong animal at first.
