It was his own actions that caused the Tyrann to return and grow stronger, since he destroyed the trust and union between dinosaurs and humans which led to the Tyrann being driven away. He was also responsible for Eloi's being a wanderer, because he threatened the pterosaurs with their extinction unless they gave him the Egg of Destiny.
