** The slingshot also appears in the cave portion after your guns get stolen. Surprisingly the rocks fired from the slingshot kill the giant bugs more effectively than the guns!

** Let's Go Island's bad ending is actually rather funny, due to the character's bickering over failing the final PressXToNotDie sequence and the fact that they didn't really have much of a relationship going into the game to begin with. It's definitely played more [[RuleOfFunny for laughs]] than the DownerEnding of Ben and Norah's mourning of their broken relationship in the first game's bad ending.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: In ''Jungle'', there's a fork in the path, with a different boss at the end of each level. ''Island'' has a 3-way fork in the path, which means there should be ''3'' unique bosses and... oh, wait, no, you fight the same Queen ant no matter which path you choose.

unfortunate implicatios need citations.

* UnfortunateImplications: Averted by the disclaimer that is displayed at the very start of the game, stating that any similarities are coincidences and the game is by no means a retelling of a historical event. That said, doesn't the font of the title, the elephant trumpet, the tropical settings and "Green Leaves" [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything remind you of anything]]?
